I went to Cox looking at used cars. I ended up with a new RAV4. Aubrey Rogister was my sales adviser. I say "adviser" because I never felt Aubrey was pushing a "sale' on me. He patiently took me thru the used cars then I changed courses and ended up going with a new car. The whole process was stress-less and a rather pleasant experience. I had not intended in buying a car, but after I totaled my vehicle, I had to find something new. My only firm request was a manual transmission. These are hard to come buy in a sedan, but Tim was awesome and called me when new manual transmissions came into the lot. I bought a 2017 Toyota Corolla S and couldn't be happier! I just wanted to take a minute to express my gratitude to Cox Toyota. I've bought 3 cars there over the past year or so and every time it has been an absolute pleasure. They're all kind and treat you with honesty and respect. You don't get the run around that you do at other dealerships. Trent McGuire in finance is the definition of a true professional and he will always treat you fair and steer you in the right direction. He's a straight up guy and will do everything he can to help you. David McLaughlin in sales is also fantastic. He's not pushy at all and will really do what is best for you as the customer. He uses a calm and friendly approach and will bend over backwards for you. He'll make sure that you not only find what you're looking for but you find the vehicle that you really need. Rodney, the sales manager is also a great guy and has been very easy to work with. Bottom line in todays world, honest business isn't very common. I assure you, these guys are both fair and honest. Put your faith in these guys. They'll do what they can to sell you the right vehicle for you at a fair and honest price. Trust me, They'll treat you right. Thanks again guys, you know I'll be back!

If you are in the market to buy a new or pre-owned vehicle go by and see Jay Moseley at Cox Toyota, I promise you Jay will do everything he can to get you in the vehicle you want. Jay took a lot of time showing me all the nice features on my car, filled the gas tank, and just made sure I was happy with my purchase. It was snowing that day so Jay told me because of the snow & ice to bring it back in the next week to have it cleaned, I took it by the next week and they did a great job. Everyone at Cox Toyota was so nice and helpful to me, I will recommend them to my family and friends. I get my 2007 camry xle v6 serviced here and I haven't had any issues and they work with u and offer the best service I have tested out Vann York Toyota they don't recognize southeast tint installed by factory so I takes it to cox Toyota to get everything done and I get 30 mpg hwy with my v6 and I keep my service schedule tight and I plan to switch to synthetic oil once I get 100000 and I'm currently using gtx high mileage oil and cox Toyota have done a full wash and wax and detail and reconditioned the camry inside out thanks

I took my car for servicing and asked them to either change the date or show me how to do it, they didn't do either. The person who was in charge if my vehicle showed such a careless attitude that it made me wonder how aw such a thing happening at a car dealership. He did not call my name out when looking for me in the waiting place. I am not even sure what he addressed me as. Very irresponsible.very poor customer service.

I thought I would take my 2009 Lexus to cox Toyota for an oil change. When I called to set up the appointment I was quoted the price based upon a synthetic oil change which was what I wanted. I arrived and they took my Rx 350 and about an hour later the assistant service manager told me that I had two problems with the steering rack and an oil pan leak. He quoted me a price that was around 1600.00 to complete, however I had purchased an extended warranty and it was covered except for my deductible and sales tax. I was very upset because I had just bought this vehicle 3 months earlier. Thinking that my steering would go out I agreed to the repairs. They had a rental which was covered too so I left around 10:30. The rental coordinator was great, friendly and compassionate. I was told that my vehicle would be ready around 3:00. When I arrived the service department told me my vehicle was up on a lift getting an alignment. I knew it was not because I tried to open the door and put some packages in the back seat. I told him no my vehicle was in the lot , he said we have had several Lexus here today, I said well you must have put my plates on someone else's vehicle because that is my license plate! He said oh they must have brought the keys and I didn't see them! I was already upset so I got in and drove away. I stopped at a store went in and when I went to get in I noticed my drivers side mat was full of greasy footprints. I immediately came home took a picture and emailed to the assistant service manager. No call or email on Monday so I called on Tuesday. I asked if he had read my emails. He said no he had not opened his email yet I told him that I emailed this on Saturday not Monday and not Tuesday. I told him that my mat was full of grease and asked him what he was going to do about it he said he would fix it by cleaning my mat.I asked about my oil change because I had asked for synthetical but I was given regular. He told me that they used whatever was put in the vehicle before. I told him don't worry about it because I will not bring my vehicle back there for service the next place will do synthetic oil.When I took my car to get my mat cleaned he did not apologize or was not very friendly at all therefore I will never take my vehicle back to Cox Toyota and if anyone ask me I will tell them do not take your car there.Also I talked to a mechanic who told me that they receive vehicles that Cox Toyota has told them needs the same work done that they got me to do and it does not need to be done enough said. I wonder if they really did all the stuff that you put on my bill not a good feeling!

My day started with a courteous call from Jack the Internet specialist. He was great on the phone. Went to the dealership in burlington and met with Jay Mosley. He is a compassionate salesman who really knows the products he sells. I enjoyed him and he took care of my kids as well. Had the car I wanted as specified.....took me to Angela the bank rep for final revisions. 2 hours tops and I was out of there. Never got frustrated once and every person that walked by us as we waited made sure we were ok. I'll never go to another dealership. Cox thank you for hiring the best staff ever. They are the best!

We took our Toyota to our TRUSTED local mechanic to have a warning light issue checked. They did due diligence and discovered that it was a software problem and under warranty (and even gave us printouts explaining exactly what was going on), so we took it to the Cox Toyota dealership in Burlington, NC that same day. Unfortunately, Cox was unable to fix the problem because the warning light code had been reset and the code wasn't showing. No biggie, it will come back on again soon, and they can fix it when it does. The PROBLEM is that, without our asking, they "checked" the car. According to them, "the water pump showed signs of leaking and needed to be replaced", along with the belt, which was "cracked", and the "intake manifold gasket was leaking, and needed to be replaced". All to the tune of $700+. We went back to our HONEST and HIGHLY-EXPERIENCED mechanic. He told us that while they were looking into the warning light, they checked the car over. (They take very good care of our vehicles). They ran a smoke test on the manifold (NO LEAKS), and our water pump certainly was not "leaking". Incidentally, we have never had to replace coolant. Cox may have friendly sales reps and associates, but from our experience (and what we have subsequently heard about the service department at this place), we suggest you either go elsewhere, or get a second opinion before you accept Cox's word on what may be unnecessary work.

We recently had an incident where we hit a deer and had to have our car repaired. We also needed to rent a vehicle while ours was being repaired. At Cox Toyota we found we could do all of that and they can do it very well. The car was back to us in a very reasonable amount of time and the rental staff was very courteous and friendly. Over the last few years, I've rented cars to travel short to medium distances both on business as well as for pleasure. Cox Toyota/Scion is located about 8 miles from my home and it is both convenient and economical for me to drive my car to the rental facility, leave it there at no cost, and drive off with a new rental car to my destination. Furthermore, the rental staff is very customer focused. I specifically ask for Melissa Cook when I make the reservation and pickup. Her friendliness and willingness to meet and exceed my rental needs have always been a plus. I use to rent from the other airport rental agencies but since I found out about Cox, almost all of my rental business is now with them.

I drive a 2001 Ford Escape (I don't buy cars often, and I drive them to over 300,000 miles), but Cox Toyota's service department was fair, friendly, and professional when I needed them most. Leaving Greensboro to Burlington for an important meeting, my coolant light illuminated, and I knew that I was going to have a bad day. En route, I called Cox Toyota to tell them of my problem and predicament. They told me that they could fix it and that they could get me to my meeting. Steven was awesome. It turned out that my "minor" problem would have locked up my engine if I hadn't have stopped. (I had a hole in the radiator.) Caroline (rental car lady) is very sweet. Rachel (commercial girl) wasn't there, but I looked for her. I am a big fan of their commercials.

Nate at Cox Toyota is awesome. He is one of the reasons that I go to Cox Toyota. He is honest even if it means advising against certain services, etc. I trust Nate, and if he says it then I can take it to the bank (whether I need a service or not). He finds ways to get me what I need (fixing a tire, etc.) without trying to pick my wallet. He is sincere, and he knows what he is doing. I am sure everybody at Cox Toyota is top-notch, but my experience with Nate has never been matched by any other dealer or automotive repair shop.

I was lied to about the features of the car and told them I didn't want it anymore after 3-4 months and they wouldn't do anything extra to help me get out of the car since soon as you drive it off the lot it collects negative equity. I have had to go 6 different toyota dealers that couldn't help me because of their lies here. Is not fair to the customer and I will never come back again.

Traveled from Raleigh, truck was not 4WD as stated by internet rep. Spent $40,000 w/ no Manuel, truck mats or key fob. But I got a free bible. Gave me used key fob that broke months later. Had to beg for mats and Manuel. They take your money and they don't care.

I called to get a service appt for my 2012 Camry. Upon answering the phone, Tangela took care of me. Being not so familiar with the process of new car service, she really explained a lot and helped me understand the Toyota Care service. She set up my appt without hesitation. She was genuinely helpful & knowledgable. She also helped me with the process of ordering a part from the Parts Dept for a recall on my HVAC. She didnt transfer me over to them, she stayed on the line with me. She even called me back (a week later) to let me know when the part was in & scheduled my appt for that too. She treated me with respect & didnt make me feel dumb. I truly appreciate everything she did to make the scheduling process easy!

My name is Bob and I have bought 15-20 new Toyotas from Cox Toyota since the early 90s. I have bought my last 6 from Kenny Paschal. He always listens to what I am looking for and the goals I am trying to achieve. Then he works extra hard to make it happen. He is very easy to work with. I traded my Camry SE for a new 2014 Toyota Camry SE in December 2013 and I just traded my 2012 Ford F-150 4x4 for a brand new 2014 Toyota Tundra SR5 4x4 this week. My new truck is AWESOME! My wife picked out a vehicle at Cox Dealership at that time I (Husband) was not with her at the time. A few days went by and we took the cash with us and purchased the SUV. It happen to be raining that night so the salesperson brought the SUV into one or the bays so I could look at it. I noticed something hanging on the windshield wiper blade and asked the salesperson, what is this? It was a hard plastic protector on the blade. The Salesperson said, someone did not take this off the wiper blade. "IT DAMAGED THE WINDSHIELD". On the way home with the car (it's still raining) I called my wife she was driving my SUV and (I was driving the one we just purchased) I told her I could hardly see out this windshield, it was not easy to see the highway. The next day I looked at the windshield and it was scarred very bad on the side the plastic wiper was on. When we went back to pick up the license plates, they took the car in the shop and tried to buff it out and made it worst after that the manager would not even talk to me about it. THIS IS NOT GOOD BUSINESS. The salesman and the shop person BOTH said it needed to be replaced. THIS IS NOT RIGHT, AND NOT OVER! After 24 Years in the Military Service, I was hoping all the battles were over.

I dread buying a new vehicle, but this was quite the experience. Cox Toyota made us feel like part of a family. It was a car buying experience I have never experienced and probably never will experience from another dealership. EVERYONE was so friendly and there was NO pressure from anyone, even the finance man. We had a wonderful salesperson Michael Tolliston. He did what he said and kept us informed all along the way. The GM was incredible in how down to earth he is and how he wanted to make sure the customer was well taken care of. They have a new car class every other month for their new customers to give them the most up-to-date info on their car and how to keep it maintained properly. I can't say enough on how Cox Toyota made this car buying experience....NO STRESS I have ever had and we are in our middle 50's and have been through many car buying experiences. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Cox Toyota to buy your next vehicle....we will !!!!!!! Thank you Cox Toyota !!!!!!

They gave me a value for my car and offered to pick it up so i could have my vehicle that day. It was a really good experience. Everyone was friendly offering to help. After stopping by on our way back home to Durham, we enquired about seeing a Scion FRS for our son. After getting us introduced to Trent McGuire, Trent went out of his way to move several cars to allow our son to test drive a FRS they had in stock. Although he never planned on purchasing that day, Trent went above and beyond to actually close the deal while not being pushy. His knowledge of the car, his personallity and laid back approach but most importantly, his honest nature made us feel comfortable enough to allow our son to move forward with the purchase. Although we had a delay in the expected delivery of the car, Trent personally communicated with us throughout the following days to give us updates on the progress of delivery. The car was delivered to our home in Durham and our sons trade-in was driven back to Burlington. I would recommend Cox Toyota and especially Trent & Brian to my family and friends, should they be in the market for a Toyota or Scion. Car buying is normally a stressful endeavor, but Trent made it an enjoyable experience for our son.

I've been going to Cox Toyota for the last 5 years - they have been through 3 vehicles with myself (one used, two new) and have done a fantastic job with all of them. Most recently, I purchased a Highlander - Jonathan was very friendly and not pushy. He went over and beyond helping me pick the vehicle - even driving it to my house to let me test drive it. Additionally, I was impressed that both he and Brian stayed at the dealership until very late on a Saturday night to help complete the paperwork. Stephen in the service department is always dependable and honest. He's serviced all 3 of my vehicles and I've always felt he very trustworthy. I have been using Cox Toyota to service my 2003 4-Runner and 2000 Avalon for the past 3 years, I have been very satified with the service, price and treatment I have received from their Service Department especially Stephen Phillips. He understands what I want completed and will also call me and give sound advice if something else needs to replaced, repaired or investigated. I would reccommend to anyone that they have an extremely good service department for any car make that you would want competent repairs made in a timely manner and that won't break the bank.

I travel 40 minutes to have my cars serviced by Cox Toyota because they are the most trustworthy in the Burlington, Chapel Hill, Durham, Raleigh area. Their customer service is excellent. Their assessment of what service my car needs is honest and "spot-on". I have never felt pressured into a repair or service beyond those that seemed necessary and reasonable. While getting my car serviced, I am able to sit at a table, drink coffee, and continue my work via a free wireless connection as if I am at my office. They are always accomodating to make my wait not only enjoyable but also productive. I used to avoid getting my cars serviced as dealerships -- not any more.

After having the regional rep from Toyota review an issue with the tires not being correctly balanced after the first rotation. The rep from Toyota replaced the tires but the issues was improved but not resolved. I made several trips back to the dealership hoping to get the issue resolved. With the vehicle now with at 20k miles, I returned to the dealership for service (oil, filter and tire rotation). The next day I noticed that the rims were damaged, all 4. I returned to dealership and asked to speek to the service manager(Peggy Young)but was told she would not be back until next week. So, again I returned to discuss the issue. I spoke to Peggy about the rims, but I was met with a lot of resistance in admitting that the damage was caused by the Cox Toyota technician. After I continued to show example after example of the finish chipped on all 4 rims, she agreed to have the rims repaired(not replaced). I had not mentioned this earlier but Cox Toyota had been the ONLY people to service this vehicle. The rim repair is not "as new". There was one last service (25k) included in the purchase price, and dispite my better judgment, I took the vehicle back to Cox. They REFUSED to rotate the tires (this is part of the 25k service) and told me "they would not touch those rims again".I had similar issues with this service department at their old location but was hoping a new location may have changed how they operated. I was very disappointed with this how they handled this.The Sales and Parts Departments were above average. The Rental car group was excellent.I still love my Toyota, just not the Cox Toyota Service Department.

In contrast with the aggressive and intimidating sales tactics that another Toyota dealership in the Triangle utilizes during the test-drive and in-person negotiations, Cox Toyota provides the opportunities for hassle-free and stress-free negotiations over the Internet with very competitive pricing special thanks to Kenny's hard-work and professionalism. The initial Internet pricing quote on the Prius and the final out-the-door prices were negotiated completely through e-mails during the last week of October. When my father and I arrived at the dealership to complete the transaction on the last day of the month, the Prius had been thoroughly prepared and has a full tank of gas with only 6 miles on the odometer.We have found the Prius to be a practical hatchback that satisfies my family's transportation needs. It was tremendously helpful when Kenny demonstrated the features and reviewed the settings for the touchscreen audio system and the multi-information display of the Prius. I went to this dealer to purchase a new 2011 Toyota Prius we worked out a deal but the car had to be brought in from another location. I was told that the car will be ready for delivery that following morning so I agreed that I would give a deposit so they can go a head and get the car. The next morning Eric called me and told me that the Prius will not be ready until that afternoon. I had informed him that my day was really tight and I would not be able to pick up my car until the next morning. Shortly after I told him that he called me and said that his manager Bill Glover is giving me until 7pm tonight to pick up my car or I would lose my deposit and my car will be sold to someone else. What kind of dealership does this I never said that I didn't want the car, I just could not make it there that day. I have called the dealership and left Bill a message to contact me about this matter and I'm yet to get a response. I will tell you after my experience avoid the dealer at all costs.
