I brought my Mini in for an oil change. The customer service and the actual technical services were great. I was also pleased to know that there are many services they will be able to perform on my Mini so i won't always have to take it to Charleston or Jacksonville. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We purchased an Enclave, yesterday, from Marcus Godfrey. We are from the Hilton Head area. We first visited two other dealerships in our area that left us discouraged with the entire purchasing process. The old saying, "saved the best for last", proved true. Marcus Godfrey and Critz Automotive, unlike the other dealerships, gave us a fair price from the start! There was none of the walking back and forth to the business manager for different prices, none of the "size us up" questions from the first handshake, and there was no deception in the explanation of price! The entire experience felt above board! We will be back to Critz for future purchases and to see Marcus.

We were on our family roadtrip this year down to Disney when the truck broke down due to a bad throttle body. The dealership was able to order the part and get me a rental so we could continue on our way. The pricing on the vehicle I purchased was very good compared to other similar vehicle for other dealers. This was an out of state purchase so a bit of trust on my part was required. Critz prepared the used Mercedes and when I received it, it was immaculate. You could not tell it was a used vehicle ! They also drove it 400 miles to my doorstep free of charge. Their sales team was easy to work with (informative but not high pressure). Will go to Critz when I purchase an S Class in the Spring.

A recall issue has failed twice after initial replacement. GMC would not cover the cost of repair on the second repair. Denny arranged for the repair cost to be taken care of by critz. GMC Is still using a defective part which continues to break and will not cover repair cost when it breaks. This is not the fault of critz. It's a GMC problem.

This was the best customer service experience I have had in a very long time. I am an elderly widow and had been hearing a roaring sound when the brakes were applied. I had made an apt to take it in for service but decided to stop by the dealership while my daughter had brought me into town for a doctor's apt that morning. The service advisor was very patient and assured me he would have it taken care of immediately. My daughter took me home and then followed me back to the dealership. I am so glad that he gave such priority to my concerns because it was determined that the seal on the front right brake caliper had burst. Parts were ordered and my vehicle repaired. I had purchased the platinum additional extended warranty for my 2011 Buick so this was covered under the warranty I purchased at this dealership. All in all, this dealership goes the extra mile to make you happy & safe.,

Having scheduled my service a few days prior I was told that the 10k A service would take 2 hours. Seemed fairly long but no problem. I was happy to wait 2 hours and did not request a vehicle. Unfortunately the service took 4 hours and I sat in the dealership from 10am-2pm. A terrible waste of time. Apparently the mechanic had gone to lunch and left the job incomplete. The service adviser deducted $100 off my ticket and I do appreciate the gesture. However, having to wait 4 hours was the pits and when I did get the car back the wash job was terrible. They might as well have not bothered washing it. I will add that Justin in the Sales Department was great and he was more than happy to answer all my annoying regarding my vehicle. He might be the reason I return.

The power steering pump on my Enclave went out while traveling to Savannah to visit my sister. I called Memorial Day & was surprised to have someone answer in the Service Dept. The first service opening was on Friday, & I needed to leave town on Sat. Due to a crazy day at the dealership, my car was not looked at on Friday, despite a couple calls to check the status. Turns out the automated line I reached is a call center, not someone who is actually in the dealership, so my messages to check status were unseen. This is something Critz needs to address. That being said, my service technician apologized profusely and bent over backwards to replace my pump first thing Sat morning, putting me only a couple hours behind schedule. Other than a bit of stress, I am completely satisfied with the resolution to the problem. Power steering worked like a dream as I traveled through hours of hairpin curves in the mountains of NC & TN. I would definitely recommend having service done at this dealership!

The addition of a technology specialist is a wonderful asset to the service team. Each new Mercedes has computerized components that you learn to utilize over time. It's nice to have a person to consult regarding the computerized equipment that wasn't on my previous model.

Brought my car into Critz to (i) replace the battery, (2) replace one headlight, and (3) reposition one switch in the center console.They did not respond for a week, and only responded after I called them to ask about my car.Their oral report the next day was as follows: -New Battery: $400 -Needed a new alternator: $800 -Headlight replacement: $250 -Needed a new switch, which was not available separately, so I had to replace the entire center console for $400. Refused to have the work done at Critz. Had a new battery installed at Pep Boys - OEM without the BMW label: $113 installed. Car did not need a new alternator - but if it did, an aftermarket alternator was available for $120 shipped and the OEM Bosch was available for approximately $170.It takes me about an hour and a half to replace an alternator. New head lamps were $51 each shipped and installing them took about five minutes per side.Did not need a new switch, but it was readily available from another BMW dealer for approximately $110 and replacement is a 60 second exercise with a flat head screwdriver.Critz tried to sell me $1200 of services that my car did not need. Auto always efficiently repaired if dealer has the parts and seems to stock minimal inventory. Two problems. Wait for a simple oil change can be two weeks. Dealer does not stock a variety of parts. You have to come back in several days post diagnosis for another visit. TIME consuming!!!!! Service personnel GREAT!!

Vehicle was in the shop three weeks before they looked at the issue. Once the did they diagnosed when issue and repaired but did not fix issue brought in for. Ultimately after a few more days they determined what they believed to be the real issue and repaired that and seems to have resolved the issue. They did work it out so that I did not have to pay for both repairs and met in the middle. My vehicle was bought at Critz and has never been anywhere else for service in almost 20 years. I will continue to take it there in the future since they do a very good job

This was the fourth time I have had this vehicle in for issues with the ABS system. All four wheel sensors have now been replaced, two of them twice. The vehicle is out of warranty so I had to pay over $1,100 dollars for an issue that should have never occurred. This vehicle only has less than 25,000 miles on it.Tiffany Small always provides excellent service.As a long-time Mercedes Benz owner (twelve Mercedes over the past thirty years), I was disappointed when I received this email asking for a rating on my service experience. They are extremely busy and sometimes I can't get it in when I need to, but they always do a good job, from the repair/work to calling me with updates. The bill is always what we discussed. Greg Konkel closed the deal, recommending the 7-year/100,000 miles Mechanic repair service contract, the 5-year Three-for-one vehicle service contract, including tire/wheel, windshield, and paintless dent repair, and the 7-year Luxcare XT exterior and interior protection plan. Lauren Ricks made us additional car keys and ordered us a Thule hitch-mounted bicycle carrier, all-weather cargo mat, and extra transmitters. Michael Vesey had our transmitters programmed in no time. I bought i3 from this dealership. Within 2 weeks, I had check engine sign. When I called, technician wanted me to come in and wait for the car but when I asked for loaner, he said you have to book it well in advance. When I came in, there were blank looks at me, no acknowledgement. I had to wait more than 3 hours. The other technician offered a loaner car to a lady besides me without even her asking. What a discrimination!! No respect for my time and no apologies. Stay away from this dealership.

I had spoken to the dealer, by the name of Drew Silver, by phone before ever visiting his office in Savannah. Right away, I knew that I had the right dealer to purchase the custom built Mercedes Benz CLA 250 Sedan that I wanted. I already had printed out a copy of the car specs and all prior to arriving at the dealership. The price and specs of the car that I had calculated was almost exactly what he had quoted. I knew that this car would be special when I found out that there were a waiting list to order this vehicle; which mad me that much more excited about purchasing this car. Called from Amelia Island FL around 1 pm and spoke with advisor Henry about a bad xenon low beam headlamp. Drove up to Savannah and Henry had the bulb replaced in 40 minutes (no apt!) and under quoted cost and we were back on the raod home to NH! Great attitude by all at service area! Reported a problem to the service department the same week the warranty expired, and two weeks later (after they'd had the car back twice!) they indicated it will not be covered under the factory warranty! They had the car leading up to the warranty expiration. How was I to report it? And during the entire time they had the car for servicing, not once did we ever receive the callback they had promisedThey are good at dodging your calls, too. "Slick" Rick is very good at not EVER being available.I expected more from a MB service center. Then I realized it was THIS service center that was the problem. I bought a special car - I should receive special service! No, I did not buy the car from them - perhaps that was the issue?Good luck on getting a loaner from them, too! Requested a call from a service manager multiple times,....to this day not sure if we ever truly spoke with one. And all the days they had my car, never received a loaner!Paid $ and still don't have our issue resolved. --2011 S550, 32000 miles

I honestly HATE shopping for cars. The process is long and painful, and you have to be on your toes for sheisty salesmen. This is NOT the case at Critz. I have shopped with Critz before and ended up buying somewhere else due to Critz not having what I was looking for. I was sorely disappointed in the experience and product from the other dealer. When I went back to Critz we were shown hospitality and dedication to find what we were looking for. Most dealers waste your time trying to sell you things you dont want and try to slip in extra cash for them on the deal without you noticing. Everyone on the staff was outstanding but I'd like to point out two individuals specifically; Tiffany and Kyle. Kyle was my first contact with the service department and he went out of his way to help me on Saturday, 3 Jan "after he was off work" (my car had broken down and I was stranded for the weekend in Savannah while heading to DC). He made sure I had a ride to a hotel, had all the contact data of the team to call on Monday and even gave me a history lesson as he drove me to my hotel...yes, he drove me there himself. I knew I was in good hands at that point. This leads to my next encounter with the service provider that would handle my repair, Tiffany. Never before have I felt as if I knew exactly what was happening, why it was happening, and, more importantly, what my options were at the time. Just awesome...and I'm a very hard person to please. This Dealership is always a pleasant experience. Other than the price, I would've given 5 stars all across. What brought the stars "down" was the employee (unfortunately I did not get his name) with whom I dealt regarding a loaner car. This employee was not Kyle. I.e., Kyle and all the other employees were very friendly. The (male) employee handling the loaner car was very indifferent (which is considered neither "polite" nor "rude"). That said he was not "friendly" nor did he appear pleased to have my business. He made no eye contact, appeared bothered, and did not say "thank you" at any point during the transaction. This dealership appears to understand the virtual monopoly Lexus has on incomparable customer service, and how all luxury dealerships need to raise the bar of their customer service, in recognition of the fact that customers are not just buying a car. They are also buying the service experience.

I took my car in to have the water pump and themostat replaced. Received my car back and drove about 200 miles. At this point, my skid plate started shaking so I pulled over. The plastics underneath were completely snapped due to the dealership not using the proper bolts. I took the cover off and continued driving. I notified the dealership of the issue (John, the service manager). I told him the issue I was having and that I couldn't bring it back in due to being in a different state with the car. I requested that he contact another BMW dealer to have them diagnosis and fix the car since it was there mechanical screw up. He refused as it "Would cost them an arm and leg to have another dealer look at it". He told me to continue driving as the skid plate doesn't really do anything and bring it back to him when I returned to Savannah. The bolts for one of the axles then broke when the car bottomed out going over a speed bump at 5 mph. I tried to notify the dealership again to have them fix the issue. I received no support. I am EXTREMELY disappointed with them and would not recommend ever using them again!

Got a flat on route 95 last night at 10pm. Since my car had a run flat tire, we couldn't make it home to Charleston and had to spend the night in Savannah. Showed up at the dealer at 7:30am. They couldn't repair the tire. And--they spent all morning trying to locate one that could fit my 2013 GLK. After many discussions, prompted by the customer, we finally left the dealership at 12:15pm---ridiculous!!!! It was agonizing to watch my car sit unattended to in the service center---for hours---even after they located a tire. Not enough employees---or just terrible communication???? The only plus: the tire was under warrantee---didn't cost a thing---except for a night in a hotel--and--- 14 hours of our time. Boo Mercedes...........:(

I explained to Churck that I heard a noise in when I accelerated the car. He scheduled an appointment at my convenience and also made sure I had transportation to and from work. He explained the issue of the converter in a way that I could understand, also explaining the cost. I knew the work had to be done and scheduled it for two weeks later. This is the first time I have been to this dealer since I was visiting the area from Canada. I was impressed with the fact that the owner greets callers with a personal welcome on the dealership's telephone answering service. It gave me a sense of confidence that he is interested in my business. Since I am from out of state, I was not too sure how quickly I would be able to have the problem with my car rectified. To my surprise I was given an appointment within 4 hours of having made a call to the dealership and the problem was corrected within 6 hours. Based on my experience with a number of dealerships over the years, the service this dealership offers is outstanding. Excellent experience from the initial phone contact throughout the final sale. I traveled from out of state because I was unable to find the vehicle with the color, or options I wanted. I was able to locate a vehicle online at Critz, but was contacted by Ronald Hayes, and he advised me that the vehicle was sold, but they could locate one for me, and have it delivered to Critz Auto Group.A week later I was in the vehicle and out the door in about an hour. One of the best experiences we have had in buying a new car (replacing my wife's Volvo wagon). During our initial visit (we had two), Jim was very straightforward in answering our initial questions and did not try to "hustle us". We had done a fair amount of homework before our visit so we appreciated his easy going, objective manner. The electronics were probably my wife's greatest concern (too complex) so he took the time to actually bring a car inside and spent the better part of an hour walking her through the basics. Not only did it eliminate her worries but actually triggered her desire to actually learn how to use most of the features. It was raining that day and we were pushed for time so we arranged to come back the next day for a test drive. We were not really in a hurry to purchase a vehicle and had planned to look at a few other SUVs (Mercedes, Lexus, Volvo, Ford, etc.) but working with Jim during our two visits gave us enough confidence that the BMW would suit all of our needs. Therefore we elected to purchase the vehicle without checking out any other models. Jim was great at pulling together a straightforward deal which we felt was likely as fair as we would have been able to get anywhere else. For me historically, the worst part of buying a new car is having to "haggle" over the actual purchase price. I much prefer a dealer present their best price initially, and I can then do a "sanity check" online to see if it is in the ballpark. Actually Jim gave us enough comfort that the pricing was fair that I didn't even try to negotiate. Your business manager Greg was equally professional and the "paper work" was effortless. Jim then spent close to three hours walking my wife through every detail in the car. He was truly a saint as he patiently answered all of her questions and pointed out some of the subtleties she likely would have never figured out. We really enjoyed our experience with Jim and will be back for our next purchase (or maybe lease next time). My wife has been a dedicated Volvo customer (7 previous new wagons) and I am sure will now be a dedicated BMW supporter. First rate experience all around.

My Experience: I was looking to replace my wife's car of over 10 years. We didn't know what we were looking for, we had to find the right fit for her. We came down to look at a few that we saw online. Our salesman Doug worked with us and was extremely patient as we went from one car to the next. After 2 or so hours and 6 models later my wife liked the looks and the drive of the Encore. Doug was always positive and willing to show us everything on the lot and even took us to the overflow area. He made numerous trips to check out key after key, even as I grew frustrated with the lack of finding a car, Doug smiled, got us some water and moved on to the next car. As we got to the Encore and noticed the same good looks as the Enclave but not as large , my wife's body language changed. After a test drive, she said she liked it. At that point we said we would take it. By this time the dealership had closed. Doug and Ed (sales manager) never missed a beat and worked to close the deal as fast as possible. My wife and I were traveling from Santa Fe, NM on 20 day journey thru the South. The Mbrace system (GL450 - 2013)) we determined after starting our trip that Mbrace system was not functioning and had Glitch in the Software and we tried to set up an appointment with several Mercedes Benz dealers #2 in Louisiana; #1 in Alabama and #1 in Florida and were unable to get response that could fit our flexible schedule! In Savannah I contacted Critz Mercedes Benz and spoke with young women: Tiffany (no last name) who had been recommended by the Manager of our Hotel. Tiffany immediately arranged an appointment to bring the car in & provided a driver to return us to our Hotel. At the dealership the Assistant Service Manager: Chuck Coursey facilitated the car being serviced and resolving the Mbrace system& getting it operational and providing a rational time frame to resolve the issue. During the first day they contacted us and provided an update and continued to bring us up to date with resolving the problem which was getting the people/facility who needed to re-program the car's resident TCU on line. During the #2 day's that Critz Auto Group had our car they stayed in touch with us and continued to address the progress........ The quality of Critz Auto Group facility is delight, the professionalism of their people including their Manager Mr. Richard Papy was first rate. I scheduled an appointment for maintenance via email through Mike. He responded very quickly andscheduled the appointment for a tire rotation, oil change and checked the air filter. When I arrived, I showed hima small mark on the side of the car and he offered to buff it out. It looked great. I used the shuttle serviceback to the office and the driver was pleasant as well. Josh with Roadside Assistance was terrific. We called a 930pm on Sunday because the battery in my 2008 ML 350 died. We had just returned from a two week vacation and were very tired. Josh was prompt (showed up 20 mins after I called), hard-working, and very patient. The ML 350 proved a little difficult to get into to but Josh patiently tried one thing after another. He was finally able to get in and get the car jump started...al the while apologizing for the length of time it took. It was a very hot night and he had to crawl under the car, etc. I can't say enough about how courteous and patient this young man was during the whole time. He was calm and reassuring. If he represents the typical employee at your organization, you all are doing something VERY right! Please thank Josh again for us. His type of outstanding customer service is quite rare these days but greatly appreciated.

While looking for a used car, I came across one at Critz that fit my needs and when I called on it I was connected with the sales rep Cory Ardilio who was just great to work with on the phone. I generally don't have very good impressions of car salesmen as most don't seem to take much time to answer your questions, but Cory was helpful, informative and interested in my business. I drove the 2 hours to get to Critz from my home and met with Cory to test drive the car and was so impressed with Cory's knowledge of his products (which is so rare these days) that I pretty much knew if everything else could work out with that particular car this was the guy and the dealer I wanted to buy from. I went to six different dealers and test drove all different brands and Cory was by far the best rep I worked with. Once we settled on the deal and I went to pick up the car, Cory spent over an hour with me showing me how to get the most out of my car and it's features - He really is an asset to the dealer with his knowledge, and he has fun with it too. Overall the process was smooth, all the people I encountered at the dealer were friendly, professional and really helpful. I know in the future that I will drive again the 2 hours extra to work with these folks.

It took only two visits to the Critz dealership and the decision was made that I would like to do business with these great people. The first vist was to become familiar with the BMW line and Gilbert Lyons provide me with all the information needed in a thoughtful and courteous manner. My second visit was to test drive a used 700 and then a 300 series automobile. I decided on the 750 for all the obvious reasons. I was offered a reasonable trade-in value for my previous automobile and a great finance package. Over and above all the previous, I was impressed with the tax savings offered by my previous military service and the fact that the car I selected also had an incentive offered by BMW Finance to help with the first two payments. I called ahead to get appointment and was told my problem was covered by my extended warranty. I reconfirmed again with a gentleman on Saturday even though service was closed he was helpful and confirmed it would be covered. After dropping off and picking up a loaner I got to my destination only to get a call from Michelle that I was not covered under my warranty. I had to turn around and come back to get my car. Michelle was very apologetic and when the mechanic brought my car around she made a point to discuss the problem with my car (hypothetically) and where would he start if he was to try to repair it. He walked through where he would begin and pointed out to me the areas of interest. I then was able to go home and work on it myself. I have narrowed out the problem but not able to fix. However, having Michelle and the mechanic take the extra time with me and showing they care......is why even though my car was not able to be repaired......I left very happy of the interest they put in me as a customer. This is the kind of personal care I receive every time I have come to Critz. This is why I called my husband from the car and told him we need to make sure the next vehicle we purchase comes from Critz!

People were friendly, as I have owned more than 80 vehicles the costly checks for milage is sometimes suspect but due to warranty I paid for the service but of course I'm a gear-head and check the same items on a regular basis.The only reason I didn't give great on all the items was due to the vehicle not being clean upon return to me. They never wiped the door sills bugs were still on the windshield and makes the whole vehicle look unwashed to me.I do like the GLK 350

There was grease inside my BMW when I picked it up. Despite the vehicle being washed, there was still grease on the hood and door of the car. An Associate cleaned the grease inside on the door. I discovered grease on the steering wheel, which ended up on my clothes. One would not expect such a thing when picking up their car.

I was so impressed with Critz BMW after dealing with Hilton Head BMW and having several negative experiences with the purchase of my new BMW 123. From the moment I got out of my car, I was greeted by Richard Osbourn. Then I was promptly introduced to my salesman, Cory Ardilio.Within a short amount of time, between the two of them I was shown several 123's with specific emphasis on the different interiors which were available. It was their involvement which enabled me to purchase a fabulous car with very little hassle. Due to their building a new sales facility, they were temporarily located in a trailer, but the closeness of the group enabled them to introduce me to all of their staff.The best part of my purchase at Critz was Cory advising me of an option to pick up my car at the Performance Center. What a thrill to be able to participate in the test drive, plant tour, etc. First class all the way.I have been a loyal BMW owner since 1982!!! This entire experience from sales to delivery will keep me buying my BMWs.

Our sales Rep Jerry had informed us he was working on his day off. From the second we arrived it was obvious Jerry was not interested in providing the best service. We had originally contacted Cory about a pre-owned BMW but..when he failed to call us back twice about pricing and financing we opted to deal with another sales associate "Jerry". Jerry had informed us that his GM didn't want to go back and forth so after one attempt at negotiating a deal..an areement couldn't be met. It took a nice gentlmen at the Mercedes dealership "Gerald Ford look alike" to explain how the process works and why the BMW store possibly let the deal go. With his help and support we purchased the BMW against our better judgement. The Mercedes Rep was great. Critz BMW all around was sub par. To add insult to injury the dealship promised to contact my insurance provider which is needed in order to finance the vehicle. Over a month later I'm notified that the car is uninsured because the dealership had never actually insured the car which they claimed they would do. I should have checked for myself and never trusted Critz BMW.

Had a bad experience with Wesley. Very rude and inconsiderate individual. I would never go back to Critz or recommend anyone else to go!I would say no less than 4-5 offers were made to me. Each time I would turn down an offer and say that I was firm on the price, they would make me wait 20mins for them to come up with a new offer.
