Was looking for a Tundra on a Sat evening, and stopped by Cumberland Toyota after hours. It was close to 7:30 me and my wife had got done eating and pulled in. Looking at the truck when John Fielden came out. He asked what did I need and I told him and he said he could do it, even when he should have been home. John did everything we asked and much more, will definitely do business with him again.

We stopped on our way to another dealer - just to look. There was no pressure, just helpful informed staff. Mallory took us for a test drive and introduced us to Josh. Talking to Josh was like talking to a friend. He answered all our questions and offered us a test drive of another model. The comparison did the trick. We were going to wait a few days, left, stopped at another dealer and realized the Highlander was far better than our original choice. Went back to see Josh and made our purchase.

This organization has a excellent process, to help the customer find what he or she is looking for. After your decision, they keep you occupied while they prepare the paperwork. They give you a detail introduction to your vehicle and help set up selected features. They introduce you to the staff and service department. Once that is done, the paperwork is. It was a very smooth and professional process.

My experience with Philip (product specialist) and Ronnie Bean at Cumberland Toyota was beyond amazing. They never gave up in working hard to get me the vehicle and payment that I was looking for and walked with me every step of the way (and me purchasing and deciding on my vehicle was a 2 week ordeal). Their patience, knowledge, expertise, and sales/business abilities were extraordinary. They treated me with more respect than I have ever experienced in buying a vehicle (and trust me, I have bought MANY. I, also, unfortunately have been mistreated and taken advantage of by many salesman). This is the second Toyota we've purchased at Cumberland Toyota. The experience both times was not difficult, but easy and comfortable. John Fielden was our sales "gentleman" both times. What we especially appreciate is the time that John spent with us without rushing us. He always answered our questions honestly, and searched for additional information when it took more time. He let us take our time test driving, even taking certain vehicles out more than once, just to "be sure." That was comfortable. He gave us comparable information to review, ask about, and discuss privately between ourselves. Because this last vehicle has some advanced technology, John took the time, upon delivery of the vehicle, to teach us how to use the features, and even setting them for us. We never got the sense that John was seeing dollar signs when working with us, but instead, customers he wanted to satisfy the best way he could. God bless John Fielden!

This week we shopped for an SUV all over Cookeville, having already done our homework on JD Powers, Consumers Report, NHTSA and multiple other reviews available online. Upon visiting Cumberland Toyota, Sales Consultant Kirby Beverly immediately introduced himself and asked if we could use any assistance, which we accepted with some reservations at first. We discovered his knowledge of the vehicles and all of their features and nuances was extensive. His friendly, polite and attentive manners were unparalleled by the other competition in the city. After researching, examining and test driving several competitive vehicles, the 2016 RAV4 was a clear winner. Kirby introduced us to Sales Consultant Josh Lawson to finalize our purchase. Josh was able to track down a RAV4 with the exact color and options we wanted and had it promptly transferred to Cookeville from Indiana. I contacted Brandon Hall about my desire to purchase a Toyota Rav4, and he shared his schedule with me so I would be able to come when he was working. He met me in the Toyota showroom where he introduced to me Josh who already knew exactly what I wanted. Josh and Brandon kept touch via text messages through the entire procedure. Josh had two vehicles already pulled up and waiting for me to drive. He patiently explained the similarities and differences of each style and worked diligently until he found the color and amenities that I wanted in the vehicle.Philip spent time with me explaining all of the "bells and whistles" of the car when I arrived to pick it up. Ryan did a decent job of selling the Tundra. I went though the internet and this was the only dealer in 150 miles to work with the Consumer reports/True Car buying. I listed the features I wanted and this truck had all of them except the dual exhaust I requested. I liked the truck so much I was able to get over the dual exhaust and to this day I love the truck. My last truck was a 2000 Tundra and I gave it to my son a few years ago. I have had 4 Toyota trucks since 1981 and been extremely happing with all of them. I must say that Ryan did follow up very well after the sale to make sure I was satisfied! Thanks Ryan! I will stop in and see you from time to time:-)

Got a mail that said to bring 2008 Prius to dealer if brake warning lights come on. Something about the "Brake Actuator Assy. It happened and we brought it in. All OK - lights out. Next month warning triangle indicated hybrid problem. Nothing found and computer reset. Happened again 1 week later. Back to checkout. Found smaller battery needed replacement. All OK now. Thanks for all your persistence in correcting the problem.

I purchased my car from Cumberland and had been satisfied with my service experiences in the past. This time I was not. In the past someone from the service department has contacted me to ask about my experience. Guess that's not done anymore. If I had had that call I would not be posting here. It took a week and a half just to get on the service calendar. I had a four o'clock appointment but my car was not finished until 6 pm. I spoke with a gentleman who had a 4:30 oil change appointment. He complained to the management and his vehicle was finished well before mine. I did not complain until I got to the cashier but all she could do was apologize and say "we are working on it". I'm undecided as to whether I will return to Cumberland for service after this visit. I am disappointed.

Visited Cumberland Toyota Wednesday, August 24th for service on our 2014 Avalon. Each time we go in for service/maintenance, we touch base with our sales person Josh Lawson who always provides a car for us. Josh knows we like a nice car and he always provides us with a nice car.We have a good relationship with Josh. I sell real estate and I know how important it is to stay in tune with current as well as former customers. Word of mouth can do a world of advertising. He has probably sold three additional vehicles because of my recommendations.One thing I do dislike, however, and it is: I do NOT like to be asked to write a letter of praise. My company does generate an email to customers who have recently closed a deal. But it is prefaced that "it is here, and if you like, you are welcome to respond." Something to that effect. But I would NEVER, personally, ask for that recommendation. So when I received Josh's text this morning, I wasn't happy. If you want to get in and out of a car dealership in a hurry and get a great deal you should go see John Fielden at Cumberland Toyota. I was only there about an hour and a half. He really knows how to go over a car and answer every question. He is a one stop shop, he doesn't have to run back and forth to get approval from a manger. When recently deciding to purchase a new car, either a Camry or Corolla, my husband and I decided to stop at the lot on a Saturday night after closing to just pick out what I wanted before we would then go to Nashville to Rivergate or Beaman to make my purchase. John Fielden was leaving the dealership after closing and asked could he help us and I said no we are just looking and he said OK ill be inside for a few more minutes if I can assist you. Wow, no pressure at all just kindness. In about 15 minutes he came back out and said " Guys if you have any questions I can answer," So I asked and he spend 20 minutes with us after hours and was the nicest guy. I came back on Monday and drove one and then purchased on Tuesday. John was the reason. It was the best buying experience I had ever had. I still haven't forgot about my last experience but now I can at least put my faith back a place I once loved dealing with once again. I Love my new car and John is the best. I came in to look at the new Tacoma about 3 months ago and John Fielden immediately spoke with me and started helping me figure out what I really wanted in a truck. I was not ready to buy at that time. Every so often John would call me and check to see if I was ready, he was not pushy at all. Finally when I was ready I came back to see John and he ordered the exact Tacoma I wanted. This is my 3rd Tundra lease and the transaction couldn't have been smoother. Fred Riddle was the salesman and he and talked about what I wanted to do, i.e., lease another Tundra and he quickly found one that met my specifications. He made me a GOOD DEAL the first offer so my time was not wasted trying to negotiate. I accepted his offer which including moving my running boards and bed step from my old truck (13,750 miles) to the new truck. He also swapped the 20" premium wheels and tires which came on the "old" truck to the new truck instead of the less nice 18" wheels on the new truck.Additionally, the dealership has several "product specialists" who show you the vehicle(s) you want to look at and answer any questions you might have but don't pressure you to buy. Bottom line, this dealer treats you like a customer and makes it easy to do business with them.

We bought a Highlander Limited from Josh Lawson on a Friday night right before Cumberland was closing. We had been in Crossville, Tn on vacation when we received notice that our 2008 Highlander had been totaled due to an accident a week earlier. On our way back to Alabama, we stopped at Cumberland to look at a Highlander I had found online. Josh was very professional and accommodating with our purchase on such short notice. We did not have the necessary papers with us to make the purchase, but Josh worked with us and made it happen. We were in and out of Cumberland Toyota in an hour. Following the advice of children, as well as a grandchild, I decided to look for something that didn't use much fuel and didn't cost so much. I could not see the road ahead out of the first vehicle we checked out which was a regular car, so I looked for something that I could see out of as well as be seen by other drivers on the road. Mike McCoin spent practically his entire day raising the seats of every SUV on Cumberland's lot, except the Jeep and he didn't complain one time about this little old lady from the country. The next day I came back to see this salesman and drove home a Toyota FAV4. Great price, great vehicle, great salesman, and great experience. And I can see out of it and other drivers can see me.

Just made our 2nd new vehicle purchase from Cumberland Toyota in less than 1 year! Josh Lawson helped with the purchase of our 2015 Camry in April last year and was the first person I thought of to call to see about the purchase of a truck for my husband. Both purchases were made easily and priced extremely fairly. Although he didn't have the specific truck on their lot we were looking for, he found one at another dealer and arranged to have it delivered to them. As we are over 2 hours away from Cookeville, it was well worth our time to make the drive. We saw a 2013 Toyota Corolla on Cumberland Toyota's website, and drove from Crossville to come look at it. We were greeted immediately by Matt Thomsen, who answered all of questions and showed us several other options that we asked about. We came back to the Corolla, as it was in our price range (GREAT FINANCING BTW), and it was a certified vehicle with an awesome warranty. Even though the car is officially used, it really is just like a new car, and we expect many years from it. Matt spent most of his morning with us, leading us through paperwork and literally walking us from department to department until we were able to drive off with our new car. When we noticed a chip in the windshield before we left, Matt made sure to have that taken care of for us, too. We never felt pressured to buy, but we are very glad that we did! Phillip Re and Matt Thomsen were so nice and helpful. The person that finalized the paper work, however was very persistent in me buying a warranty even though I told him that I would pass on it. And it increased my Pmt to 20.00 a month.

I went in wanting a 4-Runner, I have always wanted a 4-Runner. I was greeted by a sales person and we found a couple of 4-Runners. As we were looking I was telling Odell Braswell exactly what I was looking for in a SUV type vehicle. He just listened and let me look at my leisure. We looked at 2 different 4-Runners, a Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, and a RAV4. I need lots on room in the cargo area as I transport dogs. I really didn't think the RAV4 was going to work. After getting key after key so that I could look at all the cars Odell got the RAV4 key and opened the hatched, I was surprised the inside opening was square, a crate or 2 would fit!!! I still didn't believe and asked him if we could compare it to my Pathfinder? He ran in and got the measuring tape and we measured the dimensions of ALL the vehicles I had asked about. We even looked in a mini van but I just could not do it. I never once felt pressured or rushed in any way. I returned the next day with my husband and we test drove 3 maybe 4 vehicles again no pressure and no rush. Odell was very knowledgeable of every vehicle we got in. It was decided we were most please with the RAV4. We were leaning towards the hybrid until it was noticed that the cargo area of the hybrid was not suitable for the space I needed. We went over ever option an detail of what was becoming my new car and a Toyota on top of it all. Everything was set and then we found out that there was not a match on the lot, we had to wait for it to come in. The wait seemed for ever but when the day arrived it was all forgotten. We were back and there sitting front and center was my New RAV4!! Filling out the paperwork, trading in my last brand new vehicle (2000 F-150) and getting a new one. The part of the process that always seems so overwhelming was totally relaxed. Odell got everything ready to head to finance after letting me log on to his computer as I forgot to print my current insurance card. We were off to finance, where Wayne Chaffin took great care of us, he did not pressure us to spend more or buy more than we wanted or needed. He took the time to explain the warranty's and everything went very smooth. Now with paperwork in hand it was off to get the RAV4, the service didn't stop there, we got a brief but thorough tutorial on the everything to get us rolling down the road and if we ever needed help just to stop by and they would tell us what to do. I could go on and on. I would highly recommend Cumberland Toyota to friends and family. Odell took very good care of us and got us everything we asked for with our trade in and in my new RAV4.

I came from Knoxville after I had a less then a great expierence at Knoxville Toyota. For most people car buying is a big purchase. Being treated with respect, makes the expierence much more tolerable and enjoyable. I made a request online late Friday night, by Saturday morning Brittany and Roberta had contacted me and we discussed my options and ran my application. If I wasn't in a different time zone I would have came home in a new car Saturday. Instead I came to the dealership after work on Monday and was headed back home within a few hours. The staff here know how to please their customers, because of that they earn repeat business/customers. Anytime I'm in the market for a new vehicle Cumberland Toyota will be #1 on my radar.

My 18 year old daughter was shopping for her first car for a graduation gift. Mr. Booher assisted her and my wife in looking at vehicles and treated them courteously. They test drove a vehicle and when my daughter had one in mind she and my wife let me know her choice. I met with Mr. Booher a little later the same day and he assisted me with the vehicle. Low pressure sales, in fact I went inside to look for Mr. Booher. I did note one item with the vehicle and Mr. Booher had the service department check it out immediately. The following day I made arrangements to take the vehicle to my mechanic with no problems from the dealership. I was able to look at the vehicle while on the lift too so I knew exactly the condition of the vehicle we purchased. The next day I called Mr. Booher and with little information the transaction of trading my car and purchasing their car was very smooth and simple. This definitely was no pressure sales and I can say I enjoyed the experience from this dealership which I can not say of most car purchases I have made from other dealers. We were called by our Cumberland Toyota salesperson with an offer to replace our leased 2014 Toyota Camry with a 2016 model as part of the company's Presidents' Day Sale. We have dealt with the salesperson for more than 10 years. We discussed the option and texted a message back the next day that we were interested. Because of weather and other conflicts, we couldn't immediately make the trip from Fairfield Glade to Cookeville. No problem! The salesperson arranged for the new leased car to be delivered to our house with all of the paper work for us to sign, and the "old" car picked up and returned to the dealer. I think that qualifies as delighting the customer. We will continue our long relationship with Cumberland Toyota and Josh Lawson.

I came in just to look at a van when John Fielden asked if he could help me. He was really helpful and went over every feature on the Sienna. I wish more salesmen new what they were talking about like him. He never pressured me into buying the van, he just asked me what it would take for me to buy it. He made it happen. I was looking for a specific pre-owned vehicle and I'm glad I found it at Cumberland Auto. I found the vehicle online and got all questions answered and all pre-purchase red tape completed before travelling 4 hours to purchase the vehicle. Once there, Roberta Love and Kyle Potter made the purchase easy and painless going out of their way to ensure I could drive off with my dream car. It was the absolute best car buying experience I have ever had. But the service didn't stop after the purchase. When I absent mindedly left some personal belongings at the dealership, they called me to inform me, and delivered it to me where I was eating dinner with my family so I would not have to return to the dealership. I cannot fully express my gratitude enough. I will be travelling another 4 hours to Cumberland Auto when it is time to purchase another vehicle for my wife. Considering a used midsize suv and was able to take it for a test drive. We found a few minor issues with the vehicle that should have been an easy fix. We returned that evening to find the vehicle in nearly the same condition that we left it and to the surprise of Matt and us. We had previously purchased multiple vehicles from Matt and Cumberland Toyota and was very satisfied with every aspect of each deal. We were confident with the minor adjustments that needed to be made that we would have made a deal. We left feeling frustrated and a deal was not made. Had the department put a little more effort into the task given, there would have been a sale and two happy customers. Instead we chose a different dealer and was able to get what we were looking for. Matt is a friendly and considerate salesman, it's a sad that the other employees in the different department were not motivated to their job!

Our decision came down to the Honda Civic or the Toyota Corolla, both good choices. Product Specialist Phillip Re and Sales Consultant John Felden made the difference. Both very friendly and helpful. Never felt like we were getting hustled or being led into a bad deal. Both went the extra mile to accommodate a couple of our special requests during purchase. We decided to trade in my 2014 Camry but we not sure which model we wanted. Paul Dean was very knowledgeable w/ all the different Toyota models, helping us w/ the pros vs cons for our unique needs and preferences. After we chose the vehicle (3rd model we drove and considered, an Avalon) that is where Paul really shines. I feel like he works for us, like it is his goal to not only put us in the best vehicle but to help us get it at the lowest rate possible. That's a good sales person, IMO, one that doesn't put crazy pressure on you but instead helps you come to a fair price and is in your corner. If you're thinking about a new Toyota trust me Cumberland is the absolute best in Middle Tn., since you're there ask for Paul Dean. WE ARE 2016 RAV4 OWNERS!!! Are you kiddin' me!? That is how I've felt all day! As recently as last week, my wife Linda and I were convinced that we were asking too much of ourselves, financially, to be shopping for a vehicle that we, A) needed, and B) have wanted for a very long time. The Toyota models have continually gotten more and more exciting, and the idea of owning a new RAV4 SE - complete with its sporty looks, consistently reliable performance, and remarkably high safety ratings - had always seemed like something that we may be able to do "some day". Well, today that all changed!!!We returned to Cumberland Toyota at around lunch time today, met with sales rep John Fielden, and drove off in short order with our new RAV4 SE. We've been in contact with John, off and on, since late Summer 2015, and returned to talk about the new Toyota models with him just before Christmas. John always treats us with respect, is easy to discuss options with, and is one of the most easy-going, yet knowledgeable and professional, car dealership reps I have ever met. We're both veterans, and we both speak in gut-level terms, so there was never any reason to think that John was feeding us a line of anything that we didn't want to hear. Bottom line? Go to Cumberland Toyota, ask for John Fielden, and pick his brain about anything on the lot. He'll treat you with respect, and help you find what you've been looking for. The whole thing started after being screwed over at not one but 2 dealerships! I called my good friend from school, David Hobbs, about vehicle I saw online. At the time I was only interested in Honda Pilots. We talked about it and realized it wasn't the best option for us but he said I want you to talk to my friend John Feilden and I think he can really help you. We had a unique situation financially being upside down in our trade. John called not long later and we started discussing a Kia Sorento. I agreed to come look at it even though I really didn't want to. I came in that afternoon and John was busy so another man named David Gist stepped in and we located the another Sorento I liked better and he showed it to me and I decided I would come back later. I talked with my husband about it and came back after dinner and met up with John for the first time. We test drove it and I fell in love instantly. We went back and started working with numbers. The day was over and they were closing and he said after our morning sales meeting I'll put this through and let you know. Sure enough the next morning I got a happy text saying I got it! I went and picked up my "new to me" Kia Sorento after work and my husband came back that night and signed the papers on it. What was so special about signing the papers was that John was technically off work but came back in just to be there with us. We've never had that before and we more than appreciated it. We couldn't be more happy with Cumberland Auto and how we were treated. We worked with not one but 3 great guys which shows the amount of respect and team work they share to help their customers. Now I've had my car a week and I couldn't be more in love with the choice I made, especially considering it wasn't even what I was looking for. The car appears to be an excellent value, and Cumberland Toyota's pricing and efforts toward customer service sealed the deal.During the first several years we lived in Cookeville, we dealt with several dealerships (Ford, Honda, Nissan, GMC). But since 2002, every vehicle purchased in Cookeville has come from Cumberland Toyota. Since 2008, every vehicle has been purchased through Josh Lawson. The total is now 12 new Toyotas spread out over four different family members.When we're looking for the next vehicle, we will be back with Josh again I'm sure. Sunday is my favorite day to browse through car lots. The reason is simple: they are generally unoccupied. Nothing is more aggravating than exploring the options of the 2nd largest investment one will typically own while simultaneously having to evade and distract a herd of sweaty sales guys hawking over a potential commission check. There are two kinds of automotive consumers: one who is generally apathetic about what kind of car they buy so long as it is in their favorite color, and the person who has an exact vehicle picked out with a combination of highly arbitrary options picked out and highlighted in the brochure. I am the latter. I am told that this is a car salesman's worse nightmare and when combined with a somewhat unrefined personality, you get a consumer that will drive salesmen to seriously rethink their life choices.I cruised in to Cumberland Toyota on a Tuesday afternoon proceeded to poke around the new Tacomas. I had fully molested the third unit when I realized that I had been on premises for over 10 minutes on a week day and yet to have the first business card crammed in my hand. I decided to get bold and look around fora rep and it was then that I saw it glistening in the showroom in all its TRD majesty: the TRD Tacoma Off Road. I knew this would be the point where the game would change; I would have small talk forced upon me while being lured into the little cubicles where minutes turn to hours as I am convinced to separate with my hard-earned dollars, but it was even the right color. As I entered the valley of the shadow of debt, I noticed that this showroom lacked the uptight, frantic aura that I have come to expect from similar environments. After I had my look at the specimen that had caught my eye, I was in love and I had done it all on my own. The time was right and it was then and only then that Kirby appeared. He was very helpful in looking over my detailed list of desires and informed me that what I really wanted would have to come from another lot but what I really REALLY wanted was next year's model if I could wait a little while. Long story short: I waited. Kirby, Brandon, and John all put up with me for 2 months after that day while my truck was released, allocated, built, and shipped. I have bought all kinds of cars from all kinds of places--work trucks from dealers, beaters from individuals, and exotics from all-indoor dealerships-and I have to say that dealing with this team was the best experience I have ever had. The deals are fair, the pressure is low, and everyone is professional yet down-to-earth. I will definitely be doing business here again and am completely satisfied with my experience. There are a lot more examples and good things I could say but I' over 500 words and the wife is waiting to waiting on me to watch our TV show. Thanks again guys!

I took my 93 year old Mom in to buy a new car. I can not even begin to tell you how patient and helpful our salesman, Fred Riddle, was. He spent at least six hours with her that day, including showing her several cars to select from, driving her to her home to make sure the new camry fit into her garrage, taking her out around her neighborhood for a test drive and explaining multiple times what all the controls were for, He even arranged for the sale of her "87" Toyota and walked her through all the paper work involved. It was a big and a bit confusing day for my Mom, but Fred's patience made the decision a much easier one for both of us. The finance and service people were pleasant and efficient as well. I have no doubt that she will be treated well when she takes it in for regular servicing.

In 2011 I drove to Nashville to look for a new car. I got the offer but something didn't feel right. Before I made it official I called Cumberland and Chad answered the phone. He's been "my guy" ever since. I took the offer in to him and he sat down with me and reviewed everything. He showed me how I could get a much better deal. Once I found the car I wanted getting the price I was comfortable with was even easier. I had been warned not to go to a dealership alone, that I would be taken advantage of and not get a good deal. I never felt that way at all at Cumberland. Chad listened to me about what was important, he didn't "talk at me", and he never assumed that I didn't know what I was talking about. Over the next four years he kept in touch with me often. If I had general car questions I would always go to him first and he would answer them. About a year ago I started thinking about trading my car. Every now and then I would call Chad and tell him what I was thinking and he was always honest with me (even if it wasn't what I wanted to hear). Finally after a year of debating if I wanted to trade I called Chad last week. After all this time he knew exactly what I wanted and even though I drove a couple cars I ended up buying the one he picked out for me. He knew what I wanted because he always listened! We actually ended up buying TWO cars on Saturday. Buying a car from Cumberland is an experience and it doesn't end the day you drive off the lot. I feel like I've been a part of a family for the past 4 years and I look forward to many more. I couldn't imagine buying from anyone else. They're not just interested in selling you a car they're invested for the lifetime of the purchase and beyond. I have two older teenage daughters and I would send either one of them in there to buy a car by themselves (and probably will) because every one of their salespeople treat every person that comes on the lot how they would want someone to treat their family. He is always there for me, he makes sure that I know everything that is showing on and he just makes me feel like part of the family. I couldn't imagine ever buying a vehicle from anyone but him. The Tacoma we wanted was not at the dealership and she went the extra mile in locating just what we wanted although we changed our minds a couple of times during the process. I really enjoyed my salesman and everyone was really nice when I purchased my vehicle a little over two months ago. I only have two complaints. First one is... the middle back seat belt had been cut or chewed almost into. They were supposed to order one to replace it and when I called to check on it, there was nothing in the system so they supposedly ordered it again. I am still waiting to get that fixed. Second one is...the vehicle had not been detailed when I bought it and they were going to get it back In. There were some stains on the seats they were going to try to put a stain on and there were a couple scratches they were going to see if they could get out. They have yet to get my vehicle back in to be detailed. So I am saying don't leave with the car you buy until they have done everything they said they would do.

I came into dealership to get my 95 camry serviced and spoke with Josh in the lobby as I waited for repairs to be done. Josh was my original salesman on this car and my 2011 Sienna and 2006 Lexus. Josh always asks me about how my family is doing and if we are enjoying our vehicles we purchased from him. Today I mentioned I would like to add a new vehicle to our "collection" to reward a son who will graduate college in May 2016. Josh said to let him know as we get closer to the date and he would help us. During the conversation he interjected the deals that were offered today on clearing out some 2015's. I didn't think I was ready today to buy but the possibility did interest me. Josh showed me the Prius line and we looked at Camrys and Corollas. He also mentioned a lease as an option to help jumpstart my son in his career and then my son can choose and PAY for his own car in three years but wouldn't have the burden of a car note as he got established in his career. That sounded perfect to me. I brought my son back in later that day, if fact we cancelled a trip to the zoo because of the exitement of getting a new car this weekend. Josh was very nice in letting us test 3 or 4 different models. My son decided on the show room floor model, the Special Edition Corolla S. As my son said, " I like the other cars we tested, but this one here is the BOMB" .Deal was done very quickly for us and my son is very happy. Our joy is probably even more. Being able to bless your good student with a new sporty car. It is always a pleasure to come into this dealership. Folks call you by your first name and are very courteous and professional in their remarks. I have nevered felt pressured or being sold to here, which is odd for this industry. I will always come see Josh for my vehicle needs. He listens to my needs and finds the perfect car to fit what we are needing and the cars have always held up good and been virtually maintenance free.Thanks Josh and all the staff at Cumberland, you guys ROCK.PS: keep the classic rock playing in lobby, good ole music never dies, it gets better with age.

Walked in the door to meet Travis Fitzpatrick, who helped us over two visits to pick out a car. He was very patient with all of our crazy questions, concerns, and requests, and bent over backwards to help us choose the right car for us, without pushing us at all.Travis was excellent, but I have to also say that when we got to the finance guy (Wayne), our experience was not as good. He had us signing forms electronically without being able to read them first, and tried to sneak in a $600 gap insurance policy without asking us if we wanted it first. We only caught it because we read all the forms and questioned the charges. I understand he's just doing his job - but the system should be changed so the customer can read the forms BEFORE they sign, and the extra insurance should be clearly offered instead of snuck in as an "opt-out" program.

I just stopped by the Cumberland Toyota dealership in Cookeville, TN today, Aug. 27 to look at new Toyota Camrys & left an owner of a 2015 Camry. I was greeted promptly by a nice young man who asked if he could get someone to help me & I told him I just wanted to look, which he allowed me to do. He asked me again & I told him yes...he asked if I'd dealt with anyone & I could only think of one name...but in the meantime I thought I recognized one salesman & he thought he did me as well. So he had gone in to check his files when he heard my name, & John Fielden made a sale today! He showed me all the aspects of my new car after it was detailed then told me he would either deliver it to me or one of his drivers would since the seats were going to be treated today.

The buying experience at Cumberland Toyota was excellent. The salesman, Fred, made me very comfortable......very low key and provided lots of information. I felt that the dealer had a great sale on, gave me a fair value for my trade, and even picked up the cost for an add-on accessory after there had been a miscommunication about the price of it originally. And, there were never any high pressure sales stunts to get me to buy until I personally was ready. I definitely will go back to CT for future car purchases. It couldn't get any better.

I recently returned my end of lease Camry with the intent that it be purchased by my daughter. I was told the total cost of "grounding" the car would be $600. Initially I was not given a cost, but after I found another dealer that quoted me the $600 fee, Cumberland Toyota agreed to match the cost.After I had signed my papers the dealer then quoted my daughter a higher fee of over $1,000. To late to argue the point, so I covered the difference for my daughter out of my own pocket.I won't do business with these folks again.

He gives his views on car brands and the reliability which helped in our case greatly. We were heading the wrong way with brands. He doesn't want you to settle for a car he wants you to love the car. Even to the considerate point of even though we were pretty sure on our car he made us test drive a few more just to make sure we loved our purchase. He didn't want us to rush into the purchase either, as the other car dealership had, he wanted us to look around and find what best suited us. Truly an amazing car buying experience and felt very trusting in everything he had to tell us. Definitely recommending to others.

The experience of selecting and buying a new car was far better than we anticipated. My wife and I were not sure whether we wanted a new car and, if we did, whether it would be a Camry or Corolla. Odell Braswell, our sales agent, did an excellent job of showing us a variety of cars, explaining the differences, and allowing us to reach our own decision. Then he made the buying experience as painless as possible. We purchased a 2015 Toyota Camry and are happy with the choice. I would definitely recommend Odell to anyone looking for a new car. Jonathon went the extra mile to set my phone to Bluetooth and show how to use the systems throughout the car. This included seats , stereo, a/c, phone, Cruz control, ect.. Sometimes buying a car can be a miserable experience. The folks at Cumberland Toyota really conduct business in a different atmosphere. My wife and I actually had a good time with Josh and Brandon. They took our requests serious but kept the pressure off and made us feel like friends instead of adversaries. My wife will rarely participate in car buying but she was in it from start to finish. It sounds silly but we really did enjoy the process. Josh was understanding when we changed our mind about the type of vehicle we wanted.The dealership gave us available discounts without first trying to hide them, which has happened to us before. They didn't play around with pricing or try to persuade us to spend more than we wanted to. In fact, Josh told us that he wouldn't try to talk us into spending our money in a way we didn't want to. When I buy another new or used car I will certainly visit Cumberland again.

John Fielden went above and beyond to help get us into our new Camry! He doesn't call you 100 times bugging you to come back which is why we went back to him! Dealing with him is quick and easy, he gives you the best price quickly and doesn't play games. Felt as though we were dealing with the owner or something. He took the time to explain things to us about what to expect once the car was signed for. Best car buying experience we have ever had! The experience continues after you buy your car as well. He waited until we were done with finance to give us our keys and send us off at 10pm at night unlike most car sales guys, once they get the sale they vanish! He is already contacting us about getting the car serviced, sends reminders and goes above and beyond when we don't even ask him to nor does he have to. It is nice to have an "all in one" sales man who wears many hats. White-glove service at its finest. I will recommend him to everyone! I already have! Thanks so much John!

We traveled 1.5 hours to test drive a Certified Tacoma. Christy Herd with Internet Sales communicated throughout the week in preparation for our visit. She graciously turned us over to Roberta Love for the rest of our process. Roberta was easy to work with throughout the process. The management practiced incredible fair practices that I have not experienced at any other dealership. Wayne was gracious in the financial piece of the process. We will travel 1.5 hours to buy our next Toyota and will recommend that others do as well.
