Our salesperson, Luis, was great! He found a car that I was looking for and we made the deal over the phone and via text message. I just went there on a Saturday and did the paperwork and picked up the car. The finance manager Ali was also fantastic. MARCELLUS BLANDING!! Please ask for him when looking for your next vehicle! I live over an hour away with a Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealership literally right next door to me. After speaking with Marcellus over the phone I figured I had to make the trip just to compliment his customer service. I work 7 days a week so I got there 5 minutes before they closed on Sunday. Marcellus met me outside and not once was I made uncomfortable for coming when they closed. Within 10 minutes of arriving everything was set up and I left feeling confident that I made the right choice. The very next day Marcellus called me to let me know the deal was ready and the car was ready. I didn't get off until 7:30pm and arrived at the dealership at 9:05pm. Again I was treated like I was there early in the morning and they had all day for me. I went straight into finance with IJ Jemli. He laughed me through the whole thing and again never once felt uncomfortable. In and out of finance in 30 minutes? That's worth driving over 70 miles for!! I can't thank Marcellus and IJ enough for my new car! Go see MARCELLUS BLANDING!!!!

I had never purchased a car before, so I was nervous that I would be taken advantage of since I am a woman. Someone recommended this place to me, so I went in to check it out. At the door, I was greeted by the Financial Services Manager, IJ Jemli. He was very professional and friendly. I instantly felt comfortable. He offered me a bottle of water and had one of the sales reps take care of me. He would check in on me every now and again to make sure that the sales rep was taking good care of me. I was on a very limited budget, and they were willing to work with me to find something in my price range, with low mileage. The sales rep was patient and gave me time to look around without rushing me at all. There were no gimmicks or sales pushing, so I felt comforted that they had my best interest at heart.I found the perfect vehicle! IJ Jemli worked to get me the best financing possible, and took care of seeing the transaction through until I left in my new car. He went above and beyond his job title. Normally someone like him would just stay in his cozy office on a cold and rainy day, but he didn't hesitate to walk outside to make sure everything was in order. He checked the vehicle inside and out. He made sure that I had a full tank of gas, fully cleaned car, and he even fixed a problem with the license plate holder thing that was broken. That was not his job. He has an office position, but he had no qualms about going into the shop and fixing the thing himself! I was really impressed with the amount of care he put into my purchase. Even after all the papers were signed, he sat with me in the car to help show me all the nifty gadgets and bluetooth. He is a sincere and honest man, and this comes across through his professionalism and work ethic. This was also evident when I saw his communication with the other people who worked there. He also has the type of personality that makes you feel relaxed with him, but he gets his job done. I HIGHLY recommend asking to work with him directly if you are interested in purchasing a car at this location.Btw, he was open to helping me find a car at a different location if need be. He was calm, cool and informative. He took the time to explain the paperwork, and even guided me through what I needed to do with my car insurance. GEICO was giving me a hard time about needing me to turn in my plates before I was able to add this new car onto my coverage, but I handed him my cell phone to talk to GEICO and he took care of it!! This man went WAY above and beyond, and I don't write many reviews on yelp, but this was an experience that I must share! I am SO happy with my car! THANK YOU IJ Jemli! Superb customer service, surpassed my expectations, amazing and enjoyable experience.

I'm an out of state shopper, being helped by Dennis in sales to buy a Wrangler for my wife's Christmas present. He dropped the ball in keeping me informed and I got angry when I found out that the jeep I wanted was no longer available. But to his credit, and the sales team there at DARCARS, I eventually got the car I wanted. I cannot say enough how impressed I was, in the end, with how much work they put into making me happy.It is quite obvious that the dealership is a very professionally run operation with high standards of performance. I am so glad I purchased a vehicle from DARCARS. Not only am I a first time buyer, I was on a very strict budget. I found a similar make/model car with similar mileage and carfax. Julliet Mean went out of his way to price match my KIA with a car at a different dealership in a different state. Coming from work to sign the paperwork, I was stuck in heavy traffic. I arrived 15 minutes before closing and all of my insurance info and paperwork was ready for me to sign. They have an unparalleled customer service. I regret to say that it stretches my imagination to imagine how my experience at DARCARS Rockville could have been worse. From start to finish, there was an extraordinary level of incompetence and disregard, and nearly a week after I detailed my experience in email to their Customer Relations Director, I have yet to receive any response from them at all. That in and of itself shows the level of regard that DARCARS has for its customers.The problem with this dealer started one week ago, on Monday, October 24th. That day, immediately after my arrival at DARCARS, when I explained the problem of the Jeep Death Wobble that I'd been having with my Wrangler, I was told it was under recall. Then, five minutes later, a different employee came over to me that no, it actually was not - but other years of Jeep Wranglers were.Second, I brought my Jeep in at 8:45, I had heard nothing about the status of my vehicle ( I had left both my cell number and my home number, depending on when they might call ) as of 2:45. Concerned and disappointed, I called to ask for an update. The woman who took my call, after I gave my number, said that she did not have any information for me, and that I should just patiently wait for their call.When I got home from work at 4:15 that afternoon, however, I found that one of their employees had called - twice, in fact - but only at the home number, rather than call my cellphone the way I had asked them to. Therefore, they apparently did care enough to call, but neither care enough to pay attention to how to reach me nor to communicate with other employees about the status of their customers' vehicles. Therefore, when I called back and expressed my concern that I had not heard anything from them on my cell, and that they had called only my home number, their employee started to argue with me to say that he did call my cell - instead of apologizing for his serious mistake. Because he was so busy arguing with me, he'd apparently forgotten that most cell phones have a feature known as "Missed Calls" that show when calls are received. So not only did he not bother to call both numbers, especially the one that I had asked to be called on first, he tried to *argue* with me about it, when he was clearly wrong in the first place.Finally, he told me, that because it was so late ( because he had not called me at the right number in the first place! ), they would not be able to service my car that day. Because of their negligence or incompetence I lost more than an hour from work in the morning and had my entire evening messed up, because of the wretched service I received from this dealer. To fix their mess, I take more time out of my week to bring my car to a well-reviewed garage nearby, one that has repeatedly shown that they are able and willing to treat their customers with basic consideration - and competence.

I met Ceidrick Marcelin by chance on a rainy Saturday in the dealership lot. Went back to the dealership about two weeks later to look at a couple of trucks that interested me. Located Ceidrick, told him what I was looking for, took a couple vehicles for a ride and agreed on one of them. Ceidrick made this purchase very easy, there was some negotiation and a couple small glitches, but Ceidrick went to work for us each time, and we came way with what we wanted. Ceidrick is to be commended on his care for his customers, making them feel that way. Many stars for this salesman.He is a good reflection on the Dar Cars Dealership Rockville. Will reccommend him and the dealership to anyone looking for a MOPAR product

We were looking for a new Jeep Grand Cherokee. The sales rep was ok at first, took us to their holding lot to see a 2015 model. Once in that car he made sure to tell us that the steering wheel shook at highway speeds because it was in sport mode (it was not in sport mode, nor does that make any sense). My wife liked the Jeep, but we did not one that shook from the start. So we asked to negotiate on the 2016 models. They would not even honor the discounts offered by Jeep, from their website. The Sales rep told us that the website lies. The best they would do would be msrp minus the one rebate they honored. Time to leave, but they had the keys for our potential trade. It took me asking 4 times before they finally released my keys back to me. I went to Criswell and had a great experience. Bought a Jeep the next day. It is worth the 10 minute drive to go to Criswell over this crappy dealership.

CAVEAT EMPTOR---We have a used 2015 Jeep Cherokee Limited lined up at CarMax with 12000 miles on it for $27,000. While researching whether we were getting a good deal, we found some new 2016 Jeep Cherokees with 450 miles on it at a local dealer, DARCARS of Rockville. I submitted the web request and got an email back that they had a new Cherokee Limited with the same Luxury package for just under $30,000. I asked Henry the salesman to email me the specs on the car with his best price and if I liked what I saw I would see him that evening. No email came from Henry so we resigned ourselves to buy the used car. Henry called that night and asked if I was coming. I said no because I didn't receive the requested email from him. He told me that he could get the car to me for $28,000. After some discussion he finally admitted that there was a $995 destination charge on top of the price. When I said I was going to CarMax, he asked if he could speak with his sales manager. When he came back on the line, he said he would match the $27,000 price, with the $995 destination charge still added on. It sounded like a deal, so we arranged for my wife to come by to look at it around noon the next day. I asked him to send me that quote in an email. The quote never came, but my wife went to look at the vehicle anyway. She liked it, even though it did not have the Safety package that the used car did. We agreed to go ahead and buy it. After waiting 2 hours for the finance person to work with her, he was finally brought in to look at the deal. She told me that the offer was for $28,000 plus the destination charge, plus processing, tax, tags, and title. When she said that the price quoted was $27,000, they told her that I must have misunderstood them. She called me and I told her to walk out if they wouldn't honor the price promised the night before. She did walk out but at the same time I called to speak with Henry. When he finally got on the phone (evidently after following my wife out to the parking lot), he told me that I had misunderstood the price offered. I told him I was going to CarMax. A few minutes later the sales manager called me back and insisted that my wife had been offered the $27,000 price but she refused it. It seemed pretty clear to me that they were trying to take advantage of the fact that she was a woman. Unfortunately for them, she has a law degree and runs an office with 20 employees and manages multi-million dollar ad campaigns. She knew exactly what the offer was. They were hoping she wouldn't pay attention to details, but they couldn't slip one by her. Sorry DARCARS, we are buying from someplace that has some honesty and integrity.Remember, CAVEAT EMPTOR -- let the buyer beware!

Bought a Ford Edge with only 44k miles and check engine light came on after ONE WEEK OF PURCHASE. The car was sold with an aftermarket air filter which voids any guarantee (cost me $2,000) and am now left with a repair of $610 because of the negligence of darcars and they refuse to repair it.The car should have never been sold to me with a broken wiper and arm because it would have never passed MD STATE INSPECTION, I ended up buying the arm and wiper and replacing it myself which I was not happy about it. THEN, the engine mass airflow is contaminated because of a faulty after market air filter diagnosed directly from FORD and DARCARS refused to repair my car.I have never complained in my life about anything i just deal with it, but is beyond bad. I have spoken to numerous dealerships in the area that have assured me as a reputable business and ethics in their industry, they should have handled the situation a lot better instead of ignoring the customer after a faulty cheap piece caused a major damage. this could have been avoided by replacing the air filter with a $15 one but instead chose to use the cheapest possible. Dealership took take responsibility over the matter in some way. Be very careful when dealing with The General Manager, Sales manager and Finance manager (Mr. Sumner) they make promises to follow up and never happens. WHEN BUYING THE CAR THEY ARE VERY HELPFUL BUT AS SOON AS AN ISSUE HAPPENS THEY ARE THROWING EACH OTHER UNDER THE BUS,, DON'T ANSWER CALLS AND BLAME OTHER STAFF MEMBERS. i now have a car with 44k miles that has a check engine light on not even a week into purchase. Showed up at the dealership just as it was closing. The used car manager got us the key to sit in the car to look around. I came back the next day, took the car out for a test drive, came back and started the negotiation process. It got bogged down and lo and behold, the manager from the prior night, George, comes by and smooths things over, makes me feel much better and I buy the car. Thanks George. Working with this dealership was one of the biggest wastes of time ever. We saw a vehicle on the website and contacted the dealership to ensure the price listed on the Internet was accurate. We were assured the price listed was accurate and were referred to a sales associate. We once again questioned the price and we're once again assured the Internet price was not just a gimmick tactic to get individuals to come in. We explained the dynamics of a potential deal with another dealership and the sales associate gave us his word based on preliminary numbers that he could get us into a better deal and encouraged us to make the 2.5 hour drive into the dealership. After about 5 hours at the dealership we learned two things: 1. The Internet price and the price that was entered in the deal worksheet were nowhere close. The Internet price was around 28k, but once the deal was being worked the price magically ended up at around 35k. 2. They were not able to get even remotely close to the payment of the vehicle deal offered by the other dealer, let alone beat it. Not to mention, when we went to get into the first vehicle for a test drive mud was everywhere...on the carpets, on the dash, and even on the seats. The sales associate gave us the explanation that the vehicle had been parked at their other "mud lot" and he didn't think to check it prior to showing it. All in all it was a horrible experience and huge waste of time. BEWARE of false Internet pricing!

I purchased a new 2015 Jeep Wrangler 2-door on 8/24/15. On the signed purchase/sales contract Mopar front and rear all weather slush floor mats and a complete set of convertible top deep tinted windows were included. Since these parts were not in stock at the time of the sale they were to be shipped to me within 2 weeks.Over 20 emails later starting with the salesman Larry Payne, the general sales manager Tavin Indason and Hesham Elhamayel the general manager, finally on 12/7/15 I received a partial set of floor mats and on 1/4/16 I received a set of tinted windows for 4 door Jeep. When I notified Larry Payne, the salesman, that the windows received over 4 months after the sale were for a 4 door Jeep and I what I had purchased was a 2 door were incorrect I was instructed to send them back at my expense.After 5 months or correspondence it became clear that the parts which had been figured in to the price would not be received I requested a check to cover the parts cost so I could purchase them directly from Mopar. I have no complaint about the actual sale at the dealership but when selecting a dealership to purchase from in the future or to recommend to others, service after the sale becomes more important than the actual sale. The personnel entrusted with the responsibility of protecting the dealerships reputation by promptly resolving a customer issue have failed and in my experience apparently even at the general manager level Darcars Jeep in Rockville does not understand or care about the value of a satisfied customer and positive word of mouth references or repeat businessbecause as of today 2/9/16, almost 6 months after the sale, I still do not have a complete set of floor mats and the correct tinted windows or a check to purchase the parts directly from Mopar.Based on reading some of other reviews posted, unfortunately after the fact, I expect dealership management to respond to this review with Thank you for the feedback and that customer service is important to us however action speaks louder than words.

On November 13, 2015 I purchased a 2012 Dodge Ram from DARCARS in Rockville, MD. My initial inspection of the truck on the lot revealed scratches on the front right fender. After a test drive I agreed to buy the vehicle on the condition that the salesman (Omar) provide me with touch-up paint. He checked with the Parts Dept. and came back to tell it was not in stock and would have to be ordered. I asked him to send me the paint when it was available. He agreed to do that. On December 5, I e-mailed him wanting to know the status of the paint. I got no response. On December 12, I got an e-mail from someone else at the dealer notifying me that my license plates were in and that I may pick them up. Since I live a good distance from the dealer, I replied to the e-mail asking that the plates be sent to my home and inquired about the paint. Again no response. I then called the Service Dept. to notify them that I had not yet received the touch-up paint and to request them to send the plates to my home. Yet again, I got no response. Because my temporary tags were due to expire, on Jan. 5 I drove to the dealer to get my tags and inquire about the paint. I learned that the dealer does in fact mail tags to customers and was puzzled why that didn't happen in my case after I had requested it more than once. When the service person checked on the paint. I was told that it was not in stock and he promised to mail it to me. I gave him my home address. I still have not received the paint. I am totally dissatisfied with my experience with at least four employees for not bothering to follow-up with my inquiries or fulfill commitments.

Terrible experience with DARCARS. They had the Van we wanted so we had no choice to use them but highly recommend you go somewhere else. Sales rep was horrible and not helpful. The finance department was incompetent. They didn't get all required signatures when we came in to sign for the vehicle so we had to go back 3 times to sign!! Finally they messed up on our lease payments and withheld license plate from us until we made a payment to them. Even though chrysler capital says we've paid in full, DARCARS won't give us our license plate until we pay them money and they can't provide us with an invoice or anything to show documentation. Now we called and they lost our license plates. I called to complain to a guy named Ayman Hamail and he hung up the phone on me. Unbelievable.

In July 2015 we were driving our 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited to Rockville MD from Omaha NE. One hundred miles out, our Jeep overheated. We could not find help. We limped into Rockville. Struggled to find a Chrysler dealership willing to help as all were very busy. When we called DARCARS, Mr. Jemli immediately said bring our Jeep in. They will somehow work us in. We were given a rental car, free of charge. Ultimately the problem with our Jeep was major, radiator and the engine was replaced. For us, fortunately, the Jeep was under warranty. We drove the rental back to NE with DARCARS blessing. Returned two weeks later, driving the rental, and retrieved our rebuilt Jeep. During all of this Mr.Gaunt oversaw the work and kept us informed. Few people consider car buying to be a fun and pleasant process, and my experience at Darcars Jeep Rockville is an example of exactly why that is. I recently bought a 2015 Jeep Wrangler and while the overall process was unnecessarily slow and tedious, the real problem happened while completing the paperwork. After consulting with the General Manager, the Finance Manager told me he had good news and that as a goodwill gesture the dealership was offering to provide me free oil changes for 6 years and free road hazard tire protection note, I had previously declined to purchase any of these add-ons earlier in the process. I was told the goodwill gesture was being offered as an enticement for me to use their dealership for modifications to my Jeep, such as lifting vehicle, larger tires, etc.., all of which is very profitable work for the dealer. Much to my surprise, when I was presented the final sales order for my signature, the General Manager had snuck in a miscellaneous charge for $1,895. When I questioned the Finance Manager about this amount, he explained it was for the oil changes and the tire protectionthe same things I previously declined and he offered for free about 10 minutes earlier! Had I not noticed and questioned this amount (which was not clearly marked and was buried at the bottom of a long list of numbers), they would have succeeded in unethically getting an extra nearly $2,000 from me. Fortunately I caught their trick and the amount was removed, as were the free items they previously promised. Following the purchase, I complained to Darcars Customer Service in Silver Spring, MD and I spoke with 3 separate individuals about this experience. The customer service manager promised a full investigation and an answer/explanation for the dealers conduct. Its been nearly a month, and Im still waiting to hear back.need I say more. My only hope is that other customers are not duped by their unethical tactics.shop carefully at Darcars Jeep Rockville!!

I saw a used car online (With no price listed) and wanted to see it on the lot Sunday. A lot of salespeople saw and ignored me by turning their heads. I even went inside the showroom and saw people glance at me then quickly turned as if I did not see them do that!) I liked the car (2014 Honda Civic) so I submitted an online inquiry and they asked if I could test drive car thinking I would give them a second chance, I also wanted to know the price since it was posted as "Contact for price" listing online. They asked if I could test drive and I said I wanted to know the price to see if it was in my price range. They refused to answer giving me a run around email and I had to asked again and again and again. They never replied back to me! Then a couple days later... I see that the car was taken offline. All I wanted to know was the price of a car.... imagine if you try to purchase one....

I bought a used BMW from Darcars Jeep/Chrysler and during the sale process they were very cordial and promising of addressing the check engine light that was on in the car. Over the next month I went back several times to get the issue taken care of however with winter weather and scheduling delays they never got to it within the 30 day warranty period. They told me they will take care of it even after the 30 days because it was not my fault the job was delayed, when it came time to take of the work required, they turned their back on me, my sales guy wasn't calling me back and they pretty much told me I am SOL. Now I am left with another $1500.00 to pay. They fit the mold of a stereotypical user car dealership. I or anyone in my circle will never buy a car from darcars again.

I purchased a Jeep Rubicon X from this dealership in December. When purchased there were several issues that needed repair. The Day after purchase I was told it would be three weeks before I could get an appointment for servise After talking with the general manager that was reduced to two. It is now April 16 and the repairs are still not complete. I have gone all the way up the chain to the general manager of DARCARS itself and still no resolution. I would recommend against purchasing a car or have a car service from this dealership or any other DARCARS ever. I've never posted a review before for anything but I feel so strongly people should be warned that I have written this review.

Overall my experience was enjoyable. I was able to find a car that I liked at a price that I was happy with. My only complaint is that I was under the impression that the car would be washed AND detailed prior to my purchase (as I asked for it) but after 4+ hours from start to finish it wasn't until I got in the car to leave did I realized it had only been washed on the outside and the crumbs, fingerprints and spare change was going home with me. Other than that the salesman I worked with was very helpful and was aware of my needs. It just felt like once I accepted the claims of my offer my experience declined with the location as a whole (30 minute waits for multiple employees, etc) and I was more than ready to leave by the end of the day.

I had shopped around the internet and local Chrysler Dealers (Rockville, MD area), Darcars had the 200C that suited me perfectly. Just "blow-ed out loaded !" The color and goodies were all there. Now for the price. It looked like it might not happen. We were f--a--r apart. They knew that I wanted it (my bad), because when you see this vehicle and all the quality with 6 cylinders and nine speed tranny, ya can't help but get excited. We did the back and forth thing. And it occurred to me that they really wanted me to have the car. So I got the deal. This 2015 beauty was gonna be mine. They were working for ME. What dealer does that ? And more TRUTH of the matter...this is my 5th car from Darcars. I don't even know why I looked elsewhere. Arthur Oluwole was a gentleman and professional but "cool' at the same time. I could talk with him. Salespeople could take a lesson from Arthur. But it would not have happened without Tavir. Yup, I went away with a new car,probably the best value on the road today, and everyone was happy. My face is sore from smiling. The Chrysler 200C is hands down the most automobile that you can get ,dollar for dollar. My dollars went further at Darcars Chrysler in Rockville,MD. This car rivals my 2013 Caddie XTS. The goodies and quality are crazy ! IT WAS THERE ! The one I wanted was sitting there calling my name. The color was the first draw..then I looked inside. That's all she wrote. I wanted this one. I was familiar with the rebuild and glad that I waited. This is a great car. Style, QUALITY ,fit and finish,6 cylinder with a 9 speed transmission. Now the pricing...even still a GREAT value, I had to haggle a little bit. No one pays sticker. We went inside and found out the discounted price with salesman Arthur Oluwole. I tried not to be too excited. However, I needed to bump them down to show who they were dealing with. (I am a long time Darcar customer having bought 4 other cars prior)Well, I got the 'deal' Arthur looking out for me and Tavir signing off on it...I am one happy 200C owner. Yet another great Darcar experience. I would advise shoppers to check out this car, then check out Darcars Chrysler put the 2 together and watch what can happen. Thanks to all who helped us out. This is my second purchase in the last year from Darcars. The salesmen are great to work with. Shawn was the reason I made a purchase, because I was actually there to get my other car serviced! He saw me looking while I was waiting and approached me and offered a test drive. Who would not want to test drive their dream car? He was open, friendly and all along, honest. Before I knew it, a few hours later, I was driving off in my brand new car. If he had not approached me the way he did and gave me that type of service, no way would I have bought a car that day. Overall, my experience with this dealer was very underwhelming. The buying process took forever and the car was not delivered in good shape. My husband test-drove the minivan without me and said it was the dirtiest new car he had ever seen. There was mud and dirt all over the carpet, seats, pedals, even the emergency brake. The sales staff assured him that it would be detailed and "spotless" when he bought it. Well, that was a flat-out lie. When we took the car home, it was still dirty. My husband admits that there is "less" dirt than before, but there is still fuzz all over the carpet and mud on the inside of the driver's door and on the dash. There is a mud stain of some sort on the third row seat that will not come off, and there is used, balled up electrical tape in the trunk. (Good job vacuuming...sarcasm.) Also one of the remotes is dinged up. It has small dings/scratches as if someone dropped it. When you're buying a car and trying to get all of the paperwork straight, the last thing you do is inspect the remotes, but obviously with this dealership, you need to. I emailed one of the managers about our experience and NEVER received a response. (It has been a month.) To me, that is extremely unprofessional and it guarantees that I will not be a return customer. It's extremely frustrating to buy a brand new vehicle and not have the vehicle and remotes in brand new condition. I certainly didn't imagine that the next morning after I bought a brand new car that I would have to go out myself and clean it. Disappointing. If you are in the market for a Dodge, I would drive to Koons in VA.

After making an appointment, I dropped in to try to have my stereo and airbag warning light serviced. The stereo had mysteriously stopped working the week earlier after being on and off (no power at all) for a couple of months. The service worker (not sure if it was Gustave although the photo looks familiar) didn't really seem interested in repairing it and told me that it would be about $500 to replace with a standard unit. Plus labor. I also asked about my airbag light - the wire connecting the passenger seat to the sensor was broken and they would not repair - they said they had to replace the entire unit - he was not sure the price but at least $1K. Well, I drove away and a week later the stereo started working again with no problems. I still have to find some other dealer or service dept to fix the airbag light - I am not paying $1000 to fix a warning light on a vehicle with 195,000 miles.I wish car manufacturers would realize that the service experience is part of the reason you buy their cars. I love the service dept of another Darcars outlet down the street and I am a lot likelier to buy a Nissan in the future because of them. Maybe things will change if Marchionne gets involved, and I would love to buy a new Jeep - but won't unless a local Jeep (/Dodge/Chrysler) dealer can provide better service.

I want to thank Mr. Neil Fredrick for his professionalism and endless pursuit to satisfy his customers. My 2008 Dodge truck was in the another shop being repaired and then it would need to go back to a dealership that dented the side while in their care (Not DARCARS). Neil explained that DARCARS could still put me in a new vehicle. We search long and hard and found the vehicle of my choice at a dealership in Virginia that had all the options I wanted. Neil drove to the other dealership and retrieved my 2014 Dodge 1500. I was able to drive my new truck home while the other truck is still being repaired. I had a problem with my car and my mechanic could not fix. He said I would have to take it to a car dealership I just cringed because I knew it would cost more than I could afford. I took it to Darcars Chrysler in Rockville the people were so nice to me there even though I didn't buy my car there. They had my car for three days determined to help me. They fix the problem and I was very surprised that wasn't charges as much as I had thought. Once I can afforded a new car I would definitely go there first I appreciate all that they did for me and my piece of mind.

I met Larry Payne at the door while he was moving furniture for their renovation construction , Larry was a simple consummate professional who asked me directly if I knew what car I wanted. The reason I gave the rating that I did is because the sales consultant I checked off above really helped us out finding the car we wanted and even comparing cars of other brands that we were interested in. The incentive of 0% APR was a great incentive that helped out with our ratings as well because without that we probably would not have been able to but the car.

Friday morning we decided to drive up to Rockville from our home in Alexandria to look at a 2012 BMW X3 down the street. We have had our eye on the 2014 Grand Cherokee for awhile, too, so once we had driven the BMW we decided to stop at DARCARS to test drive a Jeep. Needless to say, the Jeep won. David met us at the door as we drove in, and was very knowledgeable about the Grand Cherokee. We pointed him towards what we were looking for and he provided a few options. We had a commitment that evening so we couldn't finish up then, but we were impressed enough with David and Farzad that we decided to drive back up to Rockville to work on a deal. Luckily, the exact model in the color we wanted had just arrived on the lot; plastic was still on the seats. David set it aside for us and we came back the next morning. Initially we were unable to reach an agreement on price and we left the dealership with no hard feelings because everybody had been very professional and courteous. As we were driving towards the freeway discussing our next options, Farzad phoned and informed us that he was able to coordinate with the used car manager to get a more reasonable amount for our trade. We made the deal, and David did an outstanding job afterwards of taking us through the Jeep, explaining the UConnect system in detail. Overall, it was definitely worth the drive, we got a fair price, and have a great new Grand Cherokee in the driveway. Thanks again David and Farzad for an enjoyable car buying experience.Updating as of 9 Oct 13: Customer service and responsiveness after the sale has been horrendous. We are now six weeks post purchasing the Jeep and we have had to drive up to Rockville twice to provide more documents on two occasions, and have had to make countless emails and phone calls to the dealership to finish the transaction. We are military and registering the vehicle out of state, which has clearly been a huge challenge to DARCARS. After 3 weeks of hearing nothing about two required documents, I had to call the dealership to find out what the hold up was, as the loan at my bank hadn't been processed. Another two weeks passed after that, it wasn't until I spoke to the General Manager (Paul) that the loan was finally processed. I am shocked a company would drag their feet so much to get paid. Unfortunately, never heard back from Paul, although I could tell he was able to get things moving because the bank contacted me after the dealership attempted to request a loan amount that didn't reflect an almost $900 payment we had made the day of the sale. Had to follow up again today to track down the registration, as we are approaching the expiration on our temporary tags. Bottom line, what was a good transaction and experience has very much soured, and this will very likely be our first and last time as DARCARS customers.

At 5pm they finally found a dealership that reluctantly gave it to them. 7pm the car arrived and Darcars spent over an hour making sure the car was clean and perfect. This was a second cleaning since they had already cleaned the first car I had bought. I would like to add this was all done on a Saturday the busiest day of the week. They went above and beyond the call of duty to make me happy!!! Thank you Darcars.

The best way I can sum up the employees of Darcars of Rockville is just phenomenal. Ralph Brown and Farzad Mostofi were the guys that helped me out and probably are the two guys best in the business. Hats off to DARCARS, Rockville, Maryland, Mr. Awan and Mr Latif for a job well done. We got the car we wanted, A Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. We have purchased all new cars from Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar, Acura and Porsche in the last 30yrs. I can only describe this experience as the best we have had so far. The sales rep. and the sales manager were the best yet. Their attention to detail, their responsiveness and their friendliness was great. We set out to buy a car that day, only to learn that it was not available on the lot. It was recommended that we drive the V-6 and V-8 to get a feel for the power. Both rides were informative and rewarding. Mr Awan was on top of the Jeep's Capabilities. Since the car was not available on the lot, Mr Awan and Mr Latif assured us that they would find what we were looking for and requested that we give them a few days to search. It was the manner and sincerity that convienced us to wait. We waited....A few days later we were advised that a car was found to meet what we were looking for. We bought it. My experience at DARCARS of Rockville can be described as PAINLESS. My intent was window shopping because I was driving a 2011 BMW X5 with very low mileage and every conceivable option that came with the X5. I had made a appointment with Mr. Awan the previous week-end and had to cancel. Because it was a Holiday I thought it would be a nice day to kick tires and see what was worth a test drive. After introducing myself, Mr. Awan suggested we road test the particular vehicle I was most interested in. The road test was excellent and few words were spoken by Mr. Awan because he assureded me the Jeep Grand Cherokee would sell itself. Upon our return to the dealer ship and unaounced to me Mr. Awan had my BMW X5 appraised and made me a offer that I was comfortable with and at that point I was ready to buy. I've purchased serveral high-end automobiles from Dealership around the Wash-Metro area and have dealt with the sky is falling type sales pitch but this was PAINLESS and it was all because of Mr. Muhammad Awan. CHEERS! I've spoken to Mr. Awan on two occasions and both time he has responded like we were old friends. Service after the sale is huge and will determine if I do repeat business with a Dealership. So far A++. Mr. Awan is the ultimate professional and is credit to DARCARS and I hope he is around when I shop for the Jeep Diesel.

Our experience at DARCARS in Rockville MD can only be described as OUTSTANDING. Our initial contact was with Mr, Awan, who readily understood what we were looking for in a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. After a walk around the lot inspecting the cars that were readily available, It was obvious to me that the specific automobile we were looking for was not on the lot. Mr. Awan suggested that we drive a V-6 and a V-8 to get the feel of the power differences as we were not sure of the engine we would perfer. The test drive was informative and to the point. He also did and excellent job describing the features available on the car. When we returned to the dealership, he informed us that he would find the car we wanted. Mr. Latif came over after the ride and assured us that the dealership would find us the car we were looking for. We were ready to buy a car that day but decided to wait and get what we wanted. That wait was only done because we were confident in the manner we were being treated. After days had passed and numerous phone calls we were informed that the dealership had found a car that would meet our requirements. We were elated. We closed on the deal several days later.We have always purchased new automobiles, everything from Porsche, Mercedes, Jaguar, and BMW. This was the best service of all dealerships we have dealt with...Hats off to DARCARS in Rockville, Maryland..Thanks again. Janice and Bruce Burton

They treated my wife and I with respect, and were very accommodating (unlike the Silver Springs DARCARS off Prosperity Rd), even though we were intent on buying the cheapest minivan from the start. The trade in value in my car was fair and they worked with me. Ultimately I got an extra $1200, and the new car for $1800 off the sale price. At the end of the day I felt like I may have been able to bargain for another $500-750 in savings if I would have really tried; nonetheless, I felt like it was a fair deal, and left happy.All in all a good experience. Nick is a good guy, the sales manager (can't even remember the actual salesman since I mainly dealt with Nick) and will treat you with respect during negotiations. Be up front, and he will work with you.

They were fair and ultimately I think I got a good deal. I dealt with Sales manager Nick, and he was a good guy throughout. I left saving about 3k, and although I thought I could have gotten more concessions had I held out a little longer, I also left thinking I got a fair price,and not thinking i got ripped off. As a side note, I originally went to the Silver Spring location first, and although they originally quoted me a lower price on the van I ultimately bought, the Rockville location, at least in dealing with Nick the sales manager, was a much better experience.

I drove a long way because they had the exact Jeep I wanted (I searched the whole east coast) and was able to set up the entire deal over the phone. The price on the new Jeep was as good as I could find anywhere, and I was given a fair price for my trade. I dealt with Nick on the phone, very straightforward and easy to deal with. When I got there I mostly dealt with Dave, who I had emailed originally, and he's very knowledgeable about the wranglers and a nice guy to deal with. Hernan in financing was also helpful in getting a good rate and registering it in my home state. I've dealt with a lot of car dealers and they vary a lot, kudos to these guys for a great experience.

This was the best car buying experience I've ever had. Nick was prompt in answering my inquiry through AutoTrader.com. The email correspondence with Nick Latif before we arrived was first rate. My wife and I came to your dealership because you were the most competitive on price, and the most responsive in getting us what we requested. We came to a fair price quickly. After that, I was on the lookout for the things that dealers are so often known for doing, and none of that happened! Everyone was friendly and engaged. The staff we worked with were polite, knowledgeable, helpful. The sale happened for us with minimum stress. It takes a good, well supported product to place a Chrysler/Jeep in a driveway normally reserved for GM products. Thanks to all.

I purchased a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited from Darcars Rockville recently; I can say honestly that they did a great job earning my business and making the buying process easier than it usually is. I was in touch with a half dozen dealers before finally choosing DarCars in Rockville. I walked into a dealer in Annapolis first, and got fairly standard treatment and left feeling like it was business as usual. Then we started email dialogs with several dealers around the region. As the conversation progressed, there were a few dealers willing to be competitive on price, but Darcars was the one that managed to squeak out on price AND get a model through exchange with another dealer so we didn't have to do a factory order. The exchange element meant we got a few extra features at little or no extra cost to us. We were able to get the price dealing almost completely haggled before even setting foot in the dealership. Once we arrived, we settled the price, waited for the car to arrive from the other dealer and get cleaned up. Then we shook hands and drove away happy. I can't comment on their trade-in or financing behavior (I didn't trade in and brought my own financing.) We put the down payment on the Amex and saved a few more bucks on top of that. One note I will add to all this is they worked much more as a team than other places I'd been. They divided the labor, passing my wife and I off to different folks who would gather information. show us features, test drive with us, whatever. No shill or paid troll here, just a customer who negotiated with a car dealer in good faith and came away with what he wanted.

My salesman, Terry, was a joy to work with! I took about 2 months to finally purchase my new Jeep and I felt no pressure from Terry throughout the process. I really appreciated taking my test drive on my first visit, even though I was not ready to buy that day. I went to three other dealerships then came back to Darcars Rockville because of the connection I had made with Terry on our first meeting. I changed my mind many times yet Terry stayed patient. Santiago was helpful when it came to the finance end and helped me work the numbers before I had a deal I had found my car which helped me get a general idea of what my payment would be. I thought that was great because I am sure people were beginning to think I wasn't really serious about buying yet! Well on Sunday I popped into the Dealership and saw Terry and he smiled and welcomed me back, and I told him I wanted to talk $$$ with Santiago but found out he was off. Terry assured me that Nick would take care of me and he was right again! Nick listened to me and found the perfect car for me and to his credit, I paid full price for it plus I added new tires and running boards!! Alan Hall in Finance got the deal done and was even willing to wait for me to come back with a check for my down payment!!! You see, I wasn't planning on buying when I left my house Sunday! I am very happy with my Jeep even though I think I paid a little too much!! This is the third car I have bought here and it has always been a great experience. I can't wait to continue our relationship when I bring my Jeep in for service

This is actually the second Jeep Grand Cherokee I've bought from Neil because of his great customer service. Both Gary and Santiago were focused and very attentive to every word and need I had and gave me even better than what I'd asked for! I walked in looking tired and in work clothes and dispite my dissposition i was treated with respect. My financial situation was not the best and to my amazement they gave me and interest rate that couldn't get any better. Literally watching out for what I could "really "afford. Ask for Neil... He is amazing. He waited outside for us when we were arriving to look at a 07 wrangler. He showed us the car and told us the story behind it. I drove 180 miles to look at a used car due to their pricing. I had e-mailed and talked to the salesman in advance. He was not there the morning of our visit, but another person assisted me. I would give them 4 stars but it took about 2.5 hours to process the paperwork so we could leave. They were short handed that day. Very nice staff and I have been happy with the car these two weeks. I would recommend to a friend.

The dealership is not bad. Car selection pretty good. But if you have to deal with the GM Camren, look out. He is not very bright, lacks any social skills and does not let the facts get in the way of a good story. I would suggest you look elsewhere as he is rude to his employees and an overall incompetant person.

This was, by far, the worst experience of my life in dealing with ANY service department...and I have owned 15 cars in the past 30 years. The only saving aspect of this disastrous experience was the immediate, strong and professional response from the Vice President of Operations, Ms. Darvish. An inspiring and strong young lady who clearly respects customers and understands service. As for the Service "technician," Mr. Hassan, he is a pompous, ignorant man who hid behind the telephone and hung up when I challenged his veracity and decency. HIs demeanor changed when I showed up for a face-to-face...but his immediate supervisor was hardly different. Again, the real change came when I contacted Ms. Tammy Darvish. It is only because of her that I would ever consider returning to DARCARS. Evidently, judging these characters in the service department against the backdrop of such a professional upper management would be unfair so, their contemptuos behavior towards customers is somewhat overshadowed by their boss' actions to save the day.

Drove from York, PA to purchase a 2012 VW CC. I did a lot of the negotiating over the phone/e-mail with Brent, and he was true to his word. We had the price figured out and everything else was lined up.At the actual dealership, the experience was fair. The sales person, Dave, was very friendly and did what he could to make it a good experience. The downside is that it took over three hours to draft paperwork, nevermind the fact that the dealership didn't have to do any of the financing as I provided a blank check through my Credit Union. Once the paperwork was signed, it took another two hours to have a temporary title printed. Another area of contention was having a second key for the vehicle I was purchasing. I asked three times to three different people about a We Owe for a second key and did not receive this in writing. After following up with Brent several times, he just simply made excuses for not getting the key instead of just ordering it. I expected to receive the key once my trade had been sold - this has not happened. The ironic thing is that I heard a customer in the lobby say that she was angry that Darcars didn't keep their word after the sale and that she had wished she had got a We Owe. Buyer beware.The price and selection of the used vehicles was excellent. However, if you are looking for a customer oriented dealer who values your business - go elsewhere.

This was by far the best car purchase experience ever! Over the years I have purchased seven different vehicles from various dealerships around the country from Isuzu to BMW. In March I purchased a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland from DARCARS of Rockville. This dealership was more than an hour and a half away from my home and it was not the first dealership that I visited. Nonetheless, I decided to purchase my car through them after my very first telephone inquiry to Santiago. He was willing to answer all of my questions and quote me a price by phone. Many dealerships will not quote prices over the phone and try to convince you to come in to the dealership. The price I was quoted from DARCARS beat every one of the more than 10 dealerships I contacted (in MD and several surrounding states),as well as the Costco auto-buying program. From beginning to end, I was impressed with the level of honesty and integrity in the staff that I dealt with. There were no games, no gimmicks, no nonsense,no surprises -- nothing but outstanding customer service. The price I was quoted was the price I paid. The financing I was quoted was the financing I received. Santiago went above and beyond to ensure that I was completely satisfied. If the reliability of the Jeep product comes anywhere close to the level of service I received, I will not hesitate to return to DARCARS for my next purchase. I highly recommend this dealership.

I drove all the way from Raleigh Durham NC, for a truck i was told was in great condition, to only find when i get there after a test drive a Truck with a busted rear end and they still tried to sell it to me 22.5k. I test drove the truck heard a load roaring noise, and asked Brent Sowler the sales manager to ride with me to here the noise, and he made an excuse not go on a test ride with me, then Santiago came over the GM, and asked if he would take the truck for a test drive with me and declined also. They also would not take the truck to their sister store 5 minutes away to get the toyota tundra checked out. This is the respect and customer service I got after driving 4.5 hours in less that good weather conditions. I would not recommend any one to buy a car from these people. The initial sales rep on the deal was Tressa, brent & Carmen the GM and i spoke to her once when I got there and then she ran away once things weren't going well and left me high and dry as a customer. This is the worse dealership i have ever been in and I was born in 1971 so i have been in just a few dealerships in my day.

i drove an hour and a half away to look at a car that they had on their site that looked gorgeous but had a dent that i was assured would be fixed. They said they had just gotten the car in and that it would be sent to the shop. When I arrived, they showed me the car which looked like someone had wiped cheetos all over the inside. I told them I was still interested in the car as long as it was cleaned and the huge dent was repaired. They told me that it was being sold as is!!!! Needless to say it was a waste of my time and I was furious. Who wants to buy a busted up car?

There are some things I am not happy with but my experience was far more positive than not. The car had a small dent on the back. It was my impression that this would be fixed, however this did not happen. The finance manager was able to work in a warrantee for nearly nothing. He was also able to get two cars paid off that my wife and I had. This was not easy since they were each under our individual names and only one name is going on the new title. The whole reason I went to DARCARS is because they called and said they had a fabulous deal going on. When asked if I would visit the showroom, I told them some off the wall scenario that would need to take place in order for me to get the car. Much to my surprise they got done exactly what I asked. I probably would buy a car from them again, but a couple things would have to be different.1. Schedule any follow ups before signing papers.2. Any verbal agreements are put in writing.BTW I reccomend dealing with Sean. He was upfront and honest the entire time.

I went to Chrysler to purchase a Jeep as a fun vehicle. I currently own a Toyota Avalon 2011 and have not had any other car, but Toyotas for a very long time. However I am quite impressed with this Jeep and also the helpful nature of Morris Williams. He made my experience so much more pleasant since this was an entirely new venue for me. He programed my Blackberry ( which there was no offer of any type of help like that at Toyota) and offered to help set the Jeep up for the soft top experience. As in all a very good experience.

Chrysler group finally put a product in the market that beats Land Rover, BMW and Porsche with the new Grand Cherokee. The Glen Burnie dealership experience was terrible so I drove an hour to Rockville for better inventory and more knowledgable sales people. Morris knew his product and inventory. I was committed to the sale prior to walking on the lot based on my product research but unlike the Glen Burnie dealership experience, Morris secured the sale at Rockville location.

The worst I've ever dealt with. Go anywhere else. I never have dealt with such incompetent people. Took me several phone calls just to find out my car was ready 6 hrs. Earlier and no one bothered to call me. Everyone I speak with said they hate dealing with them. Last time I was there for my jeep I overheard another woman complaining about no returned phone calls, being put on hold for a long time, etc. Same thing I had experienced. Just really is a shame as Ive owned jeeps my whole life and never had such issues with a dealer. In fact this is the first negative review I've ever written, so hopefully that shows how strongly I feel against them.

When purchasing a car you won't to feel like you are A.) not getting ripped off B.) Getting good customer Service C.) Being satisfied with the vehicle purchase and your over all experience. At Dar Cars Jeep on Rockville Pike they were unable to achieve any of these. We bought a used Grand cherokee and had a verbal agreement with the dealership that we would be taking it to our mechanic to give it a clean bill of health, which we do with all of out vehicles. Well the car had alot of issues and our mechanic who works for a high end dealership said to take it back! The problems it had were from pure laziness. Things like the alignment being damaged! When we went back we wanted to give them the chance to make it right. They were not shocked or surprised by the large number of issues that were found with the vehicle. We then doubled our cost on the Vehicle and started looking at a brand new vehicle with a $30,000 price tag. They even screwed that up. We had to take 2 days off of work, 5 trips to the dealership and we still have not received our deposit back after they have requested us to return to the dealership twice to get it. The employees at Darcars Rockville need some strict instruction on customer service, things like walking away from your customer in the middle of a deal to go help another one. Not returning phone calls and holding a customers money after agreeing to give it back on two seperate occasions. The words crooked and unprofessional come to mind! However we did purchase a beautiful brand spanking new Jeep from the Jeep Dealership in Gaithersburg and had a wonderful expeirence there. Darcars could learn a lot from them!

Must be the most incompetent, rude and unprofessional service dept ever. I am not surprised Chrysler is going down the drain.Took my car in for what rep told me is a 90 minutes Diagnostic job on Mon at 10:00 PM, ended up with Darcars keeping my Car for a week just to give me an estimate and and when I requested my car back this dealer wanted $480 to get my car back although they did nothing except the diagnostic and quote. Nobody answer their phones, nobody answer the numerous voice mails messages left for them, HAD to leave my work on 3 different days and drive up to their location to find out what is going on (which was not much except excuses and promisses). Even when I tried to contact the service manager, I got his voice mail and AGAIN, no had the decency to call me back.STAY AWAY if you respect your time and care for for your stress level and money. Definately Darcars of Rockville DON'T.
