Ron Seyboldt's experience to get us into a car that we were looking for was extremely helpful. When we gave him the spec's of what we wanted he had the car selected prior to our arrival at the dealer ship. We were on a test ride within the half hour of arrival. He took us to locations we wanted to test the vehicle's comfort and endurance. While we might have gotten just a little better price, he DID get us more than expected the first time. It,s not much of a story. I walked in the door saw the car that I wanted went over to my sons desk and told him to write it up. At that point he refused as I had not even test drove one of them so he pulled the car out of the show room and said see you later. Well much later we returned to the showroom and as I said in the first place write it up which Ron Seyboldt did and now once again I am a happy camper. Just look at the number of cars I have bought from Hallmans and you will see that I don't have to recommend anyone I keep you in business all alone.

Had damage to the underside of my car twice after service and both times it had been up on a lift. The first time I didn't notice until I washed my car the next day. This time I noticed it as soon as I walked to the car. My husband had fixed it and painted it the first time as I was not sure how it happened. But after the second time same damage in the same place. Notified service, he looked at it and said he couldn't help me with it. Really? It would not have taken much on his part to have it repaired and it would have shown good customer service. It was not like that when I dropped it off. Oh and I never received the customer review they always send you in your E-Mail after each visit. I wonder why? Will not be going back!

Jim Butts was very thorough and took his time going over the benefits of the vehicle and reiterated the benefits that I would be using in the Equinox. I purchased this 07 Chevrolet Truck/C15Full Size/ SLV on 11/15/06 as a demo from Hallman Chevrolet. It was serviced at the dealership for several years. The truck had a tires for life warranty and are still original tires which just passed PA state inspection. The brake pads were replaced last state inspection by another dealer. This state inspection, the ABS braking was working improperly. Both front wheel bearing hub assemblies were bad. I have never had this problem with a vehicle before especially with 23,415 miles on it. The service advisor (GREG HOMAN) and (MIKE/tech:184) did an excellent job and explained all questions to me in detail. I will go to Commercial truck for my service again.

Hallman Chevrolet is always on top of your vehicle's service history & future (what services are on the manufacturer's recommended list at specific mileage markers). They reminded me of service possibilities when I phoned in for a service appt. for an oil change. I went to get my tires rotated and oil changed. I was able to wait in the guset room and within 1 hr my vehicle was done. To my surprise the service was free of charge even though my vehicle had been purchased 16 months earlier in July 2013.

Well the buying process is good . They will get you in a car . But you will be upside down in it. I biught a car a year ago . And do not like it at all . Went to them and they said they could get me in a different one . No problem . Yes there is . My credit not the greatest . And they said let me work on it . Give me a day . Been a few weeks and still no call back .

I would give them negative stars if I could. I received a recall notice in the mail - and was instructed to make a service appointment online. I made an online appointment and, during that process, selected the "rental car" option that was on the Hallman website. I went to the dealer for my appointment and was told that "we don't offer rentals". If that is the case, take that option off of your website. I cancelled the appointment and will get my work done at another dealership. This is the second poor experience with this dealership. My wife and I visited them four years ago when we were interested in purchasing a new Tucson. We stood inside the showroom for approximately 15 minutes and nobody ever greeted us, asked to help us or told us to wait. Walked out and went up the street that day and bought a new Jeep Compass.

If I could give Dave Hallman Ten Stars I would. I have been to many dealerships in the past and always felt taken advantage of but this one is by far the best experience I've had. I purchased a used vehicle a few weeks back and my sales guy Mark Metzger was very helpful and went above and beyond my expectations. With terrible credit I got the payments I was comfortable with and great terms. He even got me great cheap insurance from a well know reputable insurance company. These guys do not sell junk but quality great cars and trucks at a fair price. I had one problem with the truck I had purchased and the service department took car if it for me that day no questions asked. Rick in service was very nice and respectful and it seems they have very good mechanics there. I got my truck back the same day fixed the right way the first time. They have great shuttle service so you don't have to wait around and Tom the shuttle guy was great as well. I would highly recommend looking for a great vehicle here before you go anywhere else. Can't wait to buy my next vehicle from here in the near future.

Just before Christmas 2013, I went shopping for a new car. I have looked at the Hyundai in the past but didn't like the depth of the driver's seat. This time I loved everything about the Hyundai Elantra. I have owned the car for two weeks and still love the car except for the tires. The tires which came with the Elantra are wonderful on dry or wet pavement but they are useless for snow covered roads and country driveways. They loose their traction on hills and stops. My new car needs and deserves all weather good traction tires. I don't live in the southern states. I live in the area which this year is listed as the town with the highest snow fall! GREAT CAR HYUNDAI ELANTRA - but change the tires for owners who live with snowy weather.

We were trying to find an Astro or a Safari van. Just happened upon Hallmans and there it was!! Great car, no pressure, The salesman worked with us and didn't lie, like some car dealers are noted for. We got the deal we were looking for. Honesty is the number 1 thing when we are looking for a deal. High pressure salesman are a complete turnoff! I was high high-pressured once, purchased the vehicle and lost $3,000. in a year because they wouldnt take the car back the next day after I drove it and didnt like it. We just purchased a used Vehicle here. The buying experience was good at that point and the salesman was impeccible. However now, just over a month after purchase the check engine light comes on. We take the vehichle back into the dealership for dignostics. We then wait for a call. The calls comes and I am told there was spider webs in a hose caussing the engine light to come on; and that they "repaired" it (without authorization) and we owed $124.00. Seriously? We just purchased the car..........How the heck did a hose get clogged in 1 month? We have to PAY that amount to remove spider webs form a hose after a dignostic was run and we are having car issues already? Seriosuly messed up and I REFUSE to go back there for service. I am uttlery disgusted.

I had a good buying experience and the sales staff was quite helpful. After several years of car ownership I took my car in for an engine noise. And, the service department insisted that the timing belt was off by a tooth or two. But, the belt was replaced two years prior and had less than 20000 miles on it. Hallmans service technicians didnt even look at the timing gears. The service department prompted me to change the timing belt and the crankshaft position sensor. This would have been about $500-$600. After a competent mechanic looked at the car, it was determined that the noise was wear from the lifters and not a timing issue. I would buy another Hyundai, and until this incident I would have recommended Dave Hallman. But, given the way that Hallman was unwilling to properly diagnose the automobile I have lost all faith in their service and mechanical abilities.

Unless you like being harassed by constant phone calls and emails stay as far away from this company as possible. I requested information online from a completely different company and somehow Hallman got my info. I the received calls several times a day for a couple of weeks and am still getting emails after clicking "remove me" and replying in no uncertain terms that I will never do business with a company that thinks harassment is good way to get customers. When I called and told them to quit contacting me I was told it was my fault for contacting them first, which I didn't do. Then the person blamed two other people (Don Adams and Zack Morris) for being the ones who kept calling me as if I cared about their personnel problems. My recommendation is to steer clear, but if you must, proceed at your own risk. You've been warned.

The sales representative that sold me my used car, Don Adams, was very delightful, humorous, man and made shopping for my car a wonderful experience. I have never bought a car from a dealership before, and have heard nothing but unhappy comments about doing so. After my experience, I do not see why people have such an awful time with purchasing vehicles from a dealership. The people at this dealership made me feel excited about getting my car and I had no trouble being honest about the cars he had for me to look at. Don did all the work such as looking for cars in my price range that fit my needs and had the style I was hoping for. He made sure I found the car that felt like the right fit for me and put me in it that same night! I had thought I would have had to at least wait until the next day, but he gave me no problems. I would definitely refer anybody to this dealership due to the experience I had with them. I can tell that in the future, if I have any issues with my new car, I will be able to take it to Hallman Chevrolet, and they will be happy to help me fix the problem. I love my new car (especially the heated leather seats!!) and will make sure to buy my next car from them as well. I recently purchased a Buick lesabre from this dealership used, it was a low cost vehicle that has had some use. It was a great price and the salesman Don Adams was a very nice sales person. The Check engine light was on when my fiancand I test drove it which was a worry for my partner. The salesman was nice enough to have the service guys run a scan on it and he informed us it was most likely something minor. A few weeks later we end up stranded in a parking lot with a blown head gasket. Very disappointing situation to be in. Now we will be paying close to what it cost to buy the car to repair it sadly. Lesson here make sure you get a separate mechanics opinion before you buy other than the ones who are trying to sell.
