That was the easiest and smoothest experience ever buying a car. I like the "one stop shop" where the sales person handles the entire process from start to finish. I also appreciate that the sales person was up front with all the numbers and information. There was no "here's your payment" with no explanation that you get from other dealers. All in all it was a great experience. We are happy with the dealership and are definitely happy with the truck we purchased.

However, it was a little surprising how long it took General Motors to manufacture the car. It took six months from the time I ordered it, until it was ready to be picked up.

We have purchased several of our company trucks and personal vehicles from Dave Kehl Chevrolet. We have never been disappointed! They always come through with a particular make, model or color (although you might have to wait a few more days for one or the other) but they will make sure they get it for you if it is not on the lot. That is what they call Personal Attention! As to service-excellent! All you need to do is call ahead. Do not expect one hour service, that's for oil changes at Fast Lube! Make an appointment and they will take care of you!

Called Dave, explained to him what I was looking for in a truck and as always he invited me to his show room where he had several types and colors to choose from. Dave has been always courteous and understanding in what I wanted and went out of his way to ensure I was satisfied with the model vehicle I picked out. The best person at this facility was the receptionist and that is why I gave it 2 stars. We made an appointment to see a vehicle and was told when we got there (after an hour drive) that the battery was dead. And then the sales person walked away. She never invited us into her office to discuss the vehicle while it was being jumped, just walked away. We went outside to wait. It was a really weird experience. I liked the vehicle but the dealership didn't seem to really want to sell it. They didn't seem to really care or know what they were doing. I was never asked for any information. They never took my drivers license for the test drive. I was all set to buy the vehicle and even made an appointment to come back the next day after it was serviced. When I got there, I was told it would be another 2-3 hours before the car would be ready and asked if I could come back. They hadn't even started the service on it. I left then and ended up going to another dealership. I will never go back to this dealership. It was a total waste of time and completely frustrating.

I found one of Dave Kehl's vehicles on cars.com right at the maximum distance I was willing to travel (250 miles). I telephoned, and established a rapport with Anne at first, and a bit later, with Dave. I prequalified my trade-in by describing my current truck to Dave. We established a likely range that he could offer me for my trade, and based on that, plus what I already knew was a good price on the 2013 truck that Dave had for sale, I made a motel reservation for Friday night. Sure, the deal was still vague but I had a sense that buying a car from Dave Kehl would be overall good experience, and I wouldn't be taken advantage of because of my long drive. On Friday afternoon, I called Anne just before closing time to confirm the new (2013) truck was still available, and we made a plan for me to be at the dealership when it opened on Saturday. I showed up when the dealership opened, met Dave, test-drove the new (2013) truck, and I liked it. It was just as Dave had described. Dave evaluated my trade-in, and was able to offer me more than I expected--and more than he had previously estimated--on the trade. If you like that kind of small-town honesty and integrity, and you are not in a big hurry, Dave will take care of you. Do your research, confirm that Dave is asking a fair price, make a good plan, and follow through. Then, let the purchase unfold. Don't be in a hurry. Enjoy the moment. Dave's a busy guy but he knows what he's doing and the deal came together like a hot knife through butter. It was that easy.

I felt like Dave Kehl was interested in trying to meet my needs for a vehicle choice and did a good job of asking the right questions. As a result of his personal attention it does require one to wait a bit for service, however, it is because he is busy making certain his customer has his attention when it is their turn. I decided to purchase from his dealership because he was the only salesperson I spoke to during my car search that actually offered me a way to order the vehicle that meet my needs rather than trying to move something that was on already on the lot. I also feel that if I do need service on the vehicle that the attention I received during the purchasing experience will follow through to any repair work as well. I would recommend his dealership.

Took my 2015 Silverado HD in for warranty work (paint pealing off on lower portion of passenger door). They gave me a loaner vehicle to use while truck was in for repair. The work was done promptly and the truck was cleaned and returned within 4 days. The work was done so well that I asked them to install running boards for me and that work was done while the truck was in for the warranty work. I have already referred several of my friends to Dave Kehl. I really can't sing their praises enough. Service has been done for me immediately - Walked down the street and had a "small town" breakfast while I waited and by the time I finished and walked back the service was done. Dave Kehl will get my service business as well as first look when my wife and I are ready to trade in her 2010 Malibu. Great Job!

Drove 2 hours to look at three specific vehicles only to find that this dealership is WAY understaffed. We waited 15 minutes before being recognized. They pointed to the area where the vehicles were located so we walked in the rain to look at them. NONE of the vehicles had stickers with information on them so we walked back only to wait another 15 minutes without being noticed. We ended up leaving with three other disgusted purchasers. We had preapproved financing and was ready to drive off today! Too bad for Dave Kehl!

Bought a used 2015 Chevrolet 3500 with the Duramax and Allison transmission for close to $50,000. I asked the salesman if I got a 3 month trial of Serius/XM and 6 months of ONstar and was told that I did. When I set up my Onstar they stated it was only a 3 month trial and that I would have to speak to the dealer about a 6 month trial. My serius/XM wasnt activated so I had to call the dealer anyway and when I did they activated my sattellite radio no problem but told me since the truck was used that I in fact only got 3 months Onstar which is all fine and good except I asked specifically about it and was told otherwise. I was told that there is nothing they could do about it which is kinda crappy because they could surely make good on what they told me I would get. Anyways, not the end of the world but I like to honor what I tell people. I would buy from them again if the right deal came along I would just make sure to get everything in writing that they say you are going to get!

My experience through Dave Kehl Chevrolet was out standing! My father and I drove 8.5 hours to buy a vehicle through them. We weren't going to look at the vehicle till Thursday since we got to town so late. We drove by the dealership to get an idea where it was and saw the owner was still at work after business hours. We walked in and asked to see the vehicle and they happily brought it out front for us. We took a quick test drive and loved it. Asked if we could just seal the deal that night and we started signing paperwork. Everyone was very friendly and I definitely recommend their dealership to anyone in the market buying a vehicle! Thank you for making my experience worth every minute of our drive!

This dealership went out of their way to assist me with my Chevy. I bought a brand new chevy from a nearby competitor in 2010. The vehicle warranty expired (because of mileage) and the engine blew up shortly there after. The dealership that I bought it at made excuse after excuse for the problems I was having throughout the warranty period and I ended up getting stuck with the expense of a blown engine. Not only did kehl's offer me a very reduced rate for a new engine because I my problems, this also gave me an avenue to reach GM to help. I need up receiving a new engine with a new warranty for about 1/3 the expected cost. Dave kehl and his service department owed me nothing and still went out of their way to assig me with my problem. My next new Chevy will be bought at Dave kehl chevrolet!

I would not recommend this dealer to anyone they did not want to help look for the truck i just drove over 2 hrs to look at they told me they have no trucks in my price range but when you look on their web page they had over 5 that were on the lot the 2 sales guys that they do have do not want to get out of the ac to walk around their used car lot and show us what they did have he wanted us to go inside and look at them on their web page and when i found a truck i liked he just gave me the keys and said it is out their on the lot somewhere and when i found the truck it would not start and he did not care to get it started for me and this was the owner we were talking to he does not care about his customers at all and multiple other lots in the area said other people say the same thing avoid at all cost

What ever you due, Do NOT buy a vehicle here. Our transmission went out 12 days after purchase. The owners told us it was not their problem. Over a hour away and didn't care that it won't run. This is the first and last time I ever buy from a dealership. Family of 6 needed a reliable vehicle that needs 2000 to 3000 worth of work to the transmission, now sits in the driveway with 30 day tags on it that can't be driven. Thanks for taking advantage of us Dave Kehl Chevrolet and how you took advantage of our family.

Rick at Dave Kehl was very helpful in the process. My suggestion is that if you want immediate response on the status of a vehicle, give them a phone call. I was always able to get a hold of someone. They had probably ten to twelve late model Suburbans (including three Z71 models), where Columbus dealers might have two. I also saw dozens of Silverados in the lots at Kehl. The process was hassle free. The cup holder insert was missing in my truck, Rick sent on in the mail and I had it in a couple days. Old fashion personal service.

From the first phone call, Dave responded to my needs. I told him what I was looking for and they had the truck in stock. As a matter of fact, it looks like they have a better selection than most dealers. The buying process was straight forward and honest with no games or gimmicks. We made a deal and shook hands. I came back a couple of days later and everything was done as promised. Even though there were several other customers, he took time to explain all the features of the truck. I also left with a full tank. I have bought vehicles at several dealerships and this experience was the smoothest and most customer friendly.

Great customer service, friendly sales people, knowledgeable re vehicle, not pushy, no overpriced unwanted services or hidden fees. When I called to inquire re car, an offer was already pending from someone else. The sales-person offered to call me if it didn't go through, and he actually did. He did everything he said he would do, and treated me with respect. This was the 3rd or 4th dealer I had been to while car shopping, and those others were a waste of gas and time, like I was second class for wanting to buy a used car instead of a new car. Dave Kehl Chevrolet treated my used car purchase like I imagine they would have for one of their friends or family, even though I was not a local, and I had never been there before. I got a very fair price for the used car, too. They even filled the tank before I came back the next day to complete the purchase. Highly recommend.

This dealership was a complete waste of my time and gas! I had read other reviews that also rated this dealership as very poor yet the prices seemed so low that I thought Id give it a try. The salesman was absolutely rude, kept looking at his watch, and seemed to want to be anywhere but there. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND GAS! What a shame as I was ready to buy!
