New brake line, cylinder were replaced above truck's CRACKED FRAME by 4 mechanics. 1/2 monies returned, not full. Could've been killed driving.

Recently had my car taken in for a recall on a 2010 Ford Fusion. At the time my check engine light was on and someone took it upon them self to run a diagnostic test on my car WITHOUT making it aware to my step dad who had taken it in for me seeing I was at work. They then charged me $50 for the test that my step dad had never confirmed for them to do. I think this absolutely ridiculous that they went and did this without even asking because if I wanted to know what was wrong with it I would've taken it to auto zone or a family friend mechanic who wouldnt charge an arm and a leg for something so ridiculous.

My girlfriend and I recently purchased a used 2016 Ford fusion. Overall the experience is that of your typical dealer however I felt that maybe buying a used car from these guys may not be the best choice. Doesn't seem like they car to much about what they sell. As we continued into purchasing the car we had requested that a couple scratches on the hood be buffed out which they promised they would do their best and clean up the car. I could not be there to pick it up ,so as I inspected the car when my girlfriend brought it home , they did not clean a single thing on the car . inside was just the way it was when it was at the dealer . (dirty). And as for the scratches on the hood all they did was put a small coat of wax on the spot to cover it. (Came off in a single wash ) . this car was for my girlfriend and I was looking to replace my truck as well. Guess I'll look elsewhere, maybe somewhere else will hold up to their end of the deal.

So my experience at the dealership was excellent from Justin M. who was polite, courteous, patient and helpful in my making my decision to upgrade to a 2016 from 2012 which I was hesitant about doing, but guest what, I did and I love the Fusions anyway. I had stopped in one day looking at the new Ford 150 Super-crew pick up trucks. As i was walking around the lot, Justin Morton (salesman) saw me and asked me if he could help me. Justin showed me the differences between the models and assisted me with my choice. There was no pressure or hasty sales talk as you normally get when looking at vehicles. Justin was not calling me every day to inquire and knew I needed time to decide on buying or leasing. He assisted me with my trade in and exactly received an additional $500.00 more than originally offered which was more than fair. The paper work went smoothly and I have had my truck for about two weeks picking it up on 3-21-2016. Once I got it home the following day I saw a small scratch and called Justin. He told me to bring it in and he would have it immediately taken care of. Can't asked for more than that. In addition, I also had contact with Matt (Finance Dept) who was also very helpful with the different plans and options available for financing. Over all, I have purchased new vehicles every two years and will be back at Dave Smith Ford to buy my next one there. I have already refereed two of my co-workers who will check them out early summer for new vehicles.

I stopped into the dealership a week ago asking about the process of ordering a car. Matt informed me there was one similar to it on the lot and wanted to see if I could afford to take it home. I said it may be impossible to move into a new car at the time due to cost but Matt still wanted to try and help me. He worked for an hour to try and get the price low enough for me but even though he was not able to he continued to email me and touch base with me to try and make my dream come true. Due to my current financial situation many of the dealerships I have visited recently have either not even bothered to try and help me or laughed me out of their office. However Matt was incredibly and immensely helpful and respectable. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know looking for a car at Ford.

Jason (Sales Manager) and Guy (Sales Rep) did a great job in finding the one that I was looking for. Jason did a fantastic job in crunching the numbers and working within my budget. I was very satisfied with how quick and easy my deal went through. Justin Morton was pleasant and I never felt pressured. I do have one question of sorts that has nothing to do with Justin but with a decision by the sales manager. I came to Dave Smith through a reference from my daughter who had just purchased an Escape. Both she and I were informed that for successful references a gift of $100 would be issued. This was something that was promised, yet the sales manager dropped the gift to $50 because I used a "Friends & Family" discount. This is small but still it comes across as petty and very disingenuous. Having a discount should have absolutely no bearing on a promised gift for a referral. We just happened to stop by to look at Ford Explorers this morning after having been to another area Ford Dealer and Chevy Dealer. We found an Explorer that fit all of our requirements except price. Guy Pepe was just awesome! He worked on the financials and made us aware of all the great aspects of the car. We were able to pull ahead on our lease (up in March) and work the price into a price that worked for us. I NEVER expected to buy a car today but Guy Pepe and Dave Smith Ford made it possible. When we went back this afternoon to pick up the car everything was in order and Guy got us through the process very smoothly. He then reset car security pad and set up my phone and explained all features and told us to call or come back for ANY questions. Matt handled the financial papers and made the process easy as well as came out to car to enable a few features he felt were important. This was a great experience and I recommend Dave Smith to everyone.

I went to see about driving the 2.0 liter Escape as I was interested in more acceleration than other crossovers offered that I had test driven. The salesperson, Matt Roeder, explained in detail the operation of the Titanium Escape and the features. I worked with Matt Frankino at the dealership. He really listened to my needs and helped me find the perfect car that worked with my budget. I put a lot of miles on my vehicles and was ready to trade in an older Escape for a brand new one. I was extremely particular about the features I wanted along with the color of the vehicle. Matt F put a lot of time into finding the perfect new Escape for me. At the end of the deal, I felt I was treated with respect and appreciated the compromises the dealership made for me. It truly felt like a fair deal and I would recommend this dealership and salesman to my closest friends. The Ford product itself has also impressed me. My only repairs on my previous Escape were maintenance related. The vehicle handled like a dream in the most terrible winter weather. I was sad to let my old Escape go, but I'm already in love with my new updated features in my new Escape.

Been in multiple times for basic preventative service on my F150 and unfortunately for body work after she was hit. Excellent service and customer service. I make sure to take my truck there for any work I need done that I can't do myself (putting a remote starter in later this week) and refer everybody I know there. Three years ago I leased a 2012 Ford Escape from Dave Smith Ford and loved driving the vehicle. I also knew that when it was time to select my next car, it would be another Escape. Although my leasing agreement had not expired, I was contacted by Dennis Stilb and made an appointment with him to look at a new vehicle. Dennis was cordial, experienced and extremely helpful in guiding me through the process and in helping me make the best deal possible. I met with him four times over the span of a week and drove the new 2015 Escapes. Dennis assisted me in selecting a model with the options that were necessary for me. He was patient, too, when I changed my mind even as we were close to finalizing the deal. As a woman, I felt Dennis treated me very fairly, answering all questions - some more than once! But he was knowledgeable, friendly and always patient. Even after I leased the Escape I wanted, Dennis assisted me with the Parts Department so I could obtain an additional piece of equipment I wanted even though our dealings were over. I also have to say the Chris in the financial department and Carolyn who assisted with the paper work were both very helpful. I wanted to get a new Ford Escape SUV but couldn't decide if I wanted to buy or lease the vehicle. I walked into Dave Smith Ford's showroom at about 1:00 PM on a Friday afternoon and asked if a salesperson could explain Ford's purchasing options. The salesman, Dennis Stibl, patiently explained the advantages of various buying options, and I decided that leasing a new vehicle would be best for me. Dennis showed me several models in different colors with a choice of options. I drove a nice SE around the block and was convinced that I wanted it. Within four hours, Dennis had handled the trade-in of my old Escape, had prepared the leasing papers, had the vehicle prepped and detailed for delivery, then showed my how all the options and equipment worked so I could take delivery of my new Ford Escape to get home with it time for supper. I was as astounded as much as anything by the speed with which the crew at Dave Smith Ford could get the car ready. I remember when it took days to get a car ready -- now Dave Smith Ford does it in mere hours. I didn't know anyone provided fast service like that anymore. I was impressed.

I started with this dealership because of convenience - close to my home. I have called the Service Dept several times with no answer. Finally, I asked for the manager regarding the inability to contact anyone in the Service Dpt. I was connected to the "General Manager " he stated there is only one person working in that Dept and was not interested in hearing my complaint and then hung up. I will not do business with Dave Smith Ford again. Part of the contract with my car is service. Appears to be a very poorly manage dealership.

I didn't buy my truck there but I have had it serviced multiple times as well as in the body shop. Each time the customer service has been excellent (especially compared to a certain chevy dealer at transit&como I dealt with for my previous vehicle). The repairs are excellent, the people who work there treat you like a human being and a VALUED customer which is a fairly new experience. They haven't tried to rip me off with useless add-ons. In summary next time I need service my F-150's going to Dave Smith, and if I ever needed a new vehicle before I leave WNY I wouldn't hesitate to buy it from them.

We drove almost an hour to reach Dave Smith Ford. Worth it? You bet! Dave DeNormand was wonderful to work with and knew the Ford Escape inside and out. Took time to go over the entire vehicle with us and answer all our questions. Very comfortable experience. Other employees greeted us on the way through the dealership and appeared eager to make our visit a good one. Then there was Matt Hufnagel, the finance guru (Sales and Leasing Consultant). He worked to find better financing for me then I was able to get through my local credit union. Left with a great car and met people that felt like family. Best car purchasing experience of my life! Note: Before this visit, I had shopped at a dealership close to home. Salespeople were not friendly - barely acknowledged us. Our salesperson did not have knowledge of the Ford Escape and claimed she was a "truck person." Clearly in it for the commission, not a repeat customer.

After searching around at a quite a few dealers where we were never offered any type of service at all, we were getting aggravated but after hearing and seeing your commercial on TV one night. We pulled into the lot and immediately Dennis Stilb came out to see if there was anything he could help us with. Right away we felt at ease, no pressure and very comfortable. I scheduled my Ford Escape for routine maintenance and to install a remote start. This was something I had looked forward to treating myself with since I bought the car new from Dave Smith's. I arrived and wanted to ask a couple of questions about the starter, since I could not find the info on my own from the website. I thought the mechanic was a bit rude talking to me. Then after being in the waiting room settled in for my estimated 4 hour wait, I was asked if I brought my second key with me. I did not but was told I could return with it. I declined to install that day because I live 30+ miles from the dealership and was not going to make an extra trip. After my maintenance was done, I was told that they actually could install without the second key but would have to buy a new one. I was called twice prior to the appt and was never told to bring the key. They also had missed reminding me that my 15,000 mile check was due until the oil change at 20,000 miles. I will probably be going to Medina or Brockport from now on for dealer service visits

I purchased a used 2013 Ford Taurus in September 2013. In July 2013 I noticed a noise in the rear of the car and in August I brought it in to the dealer. They told me the back brakes and rotors were worn. I bought the car with 22,800 miles and there is now 30,300 miles. When I bought the car I had assumed the brakes were like new as the car was less than 1 year old. To my surprise the dealer refused to discount the brake job as this was considered wear and tear. I will never use this dealer again and will never recommend them. Brakes should have been checked when I purchased the car. 7,500 miles is not acceptable for brakes to last.

Being in the military for 20 plus years, I know a thing or two about service. When I came into Dave Smith Ford Dealership for my 90,000 mile service. I felt the Service Department staff member was a little rough around the edges but was quick and effective in getting my vehicle onto the service line I am thinking, Great, they are not wasting my time! The only concern I had was that the 90K service did not come standard with a Spark Plug replacement with the servicing, but cost an additional $133 more. In addition to that, I did not realize a coolant system flush/exchange was not include either Ok, but I can work around that replacement myself. I have been to many Ford Dealerships around the country and the bottom line is Dave Smith Ford lacks Commitment to Service. Maybe another Ford Dealership in the area would have been better. -------------- No Resolution - I just spoke with Alison Smith (Internet Sales Department) to see about fixing this concern. The bottom line was she was unhelpful. --------------- Now after paying the $400 bill, the Dave Smith Ford Dealership offer to wash my vehicle for Free... Sorry, I would not even trust them washing my car. Go somewhere else if you want to be treated right.

As a woman, I dread taking my car in for service because I always feel like I'm going to be taken advantage of. A couple of months ago, I started having major issues with my car. I took it to Dave Smith Ford for repairs. I was told that I would need to leave for my car for a few days. Unfortunately, I did not have any other means of transportation and did not want to have a bill from the auto rental agency and the dealership. I spoke with Mr. Andy Svisco about the needed repairs and the need for a rental car. Mr. Svisco was the most courteous person I have ever met at any dealership. He was so incredibly accomodating and put my mind at ease in regards to the repair bill and the cost of the rental car. He knew I was very upset about having a large bill to pay and making sure I was able to pick up my daughters from school on time. I swore I would never buy another Ford again due to the issues I was having with my car. Mr. Svisco not only changed my mind but I will be sure to buy my next Ford at Dave Smith Ford because of him.

From Toronto and our van wouldn't drive when we returned to the buffalo airport. Had van towed in and Rob the mechanic stayed late on a Friday afternoon to help diagnose the problem. Larry Hickmott in sales helped us find a hotel for the night and service people shuttled us to the hotel. Ended up fixing the van the next day with Rob answering questions and lending me tools on his day off!! Larry also there to assist with anything else my family needed during our ordeal. Two weeks ago My husband and I went into Dave Smith Ford, we were so impressed with the Ford Escape which we had just purchased 5 months prior at another dealership(that review is not so good)...there was no question that we wanted another one, the vehicle is full of features the foreigns can't match for the price. Overall I was very satisfied with our salesman. He was very through and answered all of our questions. I was supposed to receive my new vehicle on a Thursday, however I did not receive it until the following Monday, due to 'dealer trade'. I spoke with a manager named Eric on Saturday asking about the reasoning for my vehicle still not being there and he told me about this dealer trade situation. If I had known it were going to be such a troublesome process, I may have gone elsewhere. This manager was also incredibly rude and unhelpful. If it weren't for Alistair's great customer care I would not have gone back to lease my new vehicle with them. Thank you for your time and customer service Al.

I ended up having to wait several weeks before I got back to him because of my husband's travel schedule. He was totally patient. Only called me once. Buy services I received were great but the package and repairs to some items that needed service were not good. I purchased the environmental package for my car that I feel is a must in buffalo and was told it took care of the interior and exterior of my vehicle for 5years and you do pay good money for it and do it for all my vehicles. I needed a heated seat, noisey brakes and a driver outside door mirror that was coming loose. I dropped my car off it was gone for about 4days and when I got it back the brakes and seat were fixed and they put 4 drywall screws on the outside of my mirror. At first really didn't notice how terrible it looked cause all snow but they said they did it so it would match the other side they did it before they called me to especially something like that. I assumed had be some type small screws didnt really see. I would used epoxy or something stong not that im going have buy 2new mirrors now cause rust will stain them after time. Also I would not recommend getting uncoat package there cause after 4days when they finally got my car back from subcontractors it was never done and had about 70 miles put on my car. I was offered to drop it off again but do not trust to drop it off again. I have also called many times emailed and personally been for couple hoursbut person in charge of that stuff is far to bisy to get back to me...

Customer Service is wonderful. I love the used car I purchased but have had some unfortunate trips back to the dealership.The next day after purchasing my Fushion I heard a noise. I was told to bring it right in. I have now been to Dave Smith Ford 4 times and will be going back a fifth. I'm hoping the problem will be fixed. I understand things happen on cars and sometimes it takes a couple times for a technician to find the problem but when a person works a full time job and has a family, taking your car to be fixed several times interferes with a persons everyday life, not to mention driving to the dealership that is a distance from your home and job. overall I'm grateful for the professionalism from Dave Ford, Nick has been a pleasure and John who sold me the car was very kind, along with the finance department. Let me tell you about Dave Smith Ford in Williamsville: 3 years ago, I bought my used car from them, I chose the car that I did because we were told that it carried a "Life time transmission and engine warranty" The rules were that I had to have the oil change done every 5000 miles AT Dave Smith Ford. I did, actually every 4000 or so miles. Well, come to find out, there was never a warranty on the car, the salesman, the slimy, slithering little salesman lied to us about the warranty. SO in speaking with their used sales department last week, and discovering that there never was a warranty, I asked to speak with a supervisor, I had been going to them for 3 years for oil changes (when I could have gone to Midas and paid half the price) . I was told that the supervisor would get back to me,he never did, I called them today and guess what???? The warranty deal is no longer in exsistance, they will not give me any sort of deal on future service, Dave from used car sales was flat out rude to me on the phone and said there is nothing they can do for me. That my dear friends is BAD customer service. My father has bought his last 6 cars there, and will now be looking elsewhere for his next car. Thumbs down for Dave Smith Ford on Transit Rd in WIliamsville, never again will I recommend them for anything

Also, they gave me a good price on the new Focus in addition to the discounts from Ford, and took my 14 year old Dodge as a trade-in. We walked in to Dave Smith Ford to lease a Fusion and walked out leasing a Fusion and then Expedition two days later because of the Salesman. Our salesman was Allistaire Hynes and he was a pleasure to work with. He was well informed of the lease deals and gave us exactly what we wanted. My car, snow, ice, front wheel, and a curb met one afternoon and the impact was hard enough to make my steering wheel crooked and made it difficult to control and overall unsafe to drive. I was able to get in before two hours before service closed. I was told that depending on the damage they may not be able to get it repaired same day but that they would take a look and let me know. I was lucky enough to get away with minor damage and they were able to complete repairs before close. I was very impressed with the professionalism of Mike, who I believe is the service writer and the repair that was done. As I was waiting the other customers that were getting regular maintenance seemed to be moving quickly. I would recommend you to visit Dave Smith Ford's service center for both emergency and regular maintenance.

I've bought a few cars. This was one of the most forgettable experiences in the last 10 years. MINI bent over backwards with gifts and bling. Chevrolet gave gifts and had us to dinner and dealership tour. Dave Smith Ford did none of this. They didn't even fill the squirts before delivery. I'm disappointed. Even the financing/final sales experience was poor. We received little information about interest rates, finance charges, payment schedule. The woman was friendly enough but I didn't feel the love and respect a sale of that magnitude should receive. I felt rushed. Disappointed.

It's always hard to actually enter a car dealership for the dreaded "game" of buying a car, or at least it's hard for us! We were pleasantly greeted as soon as we entered and directed to Sales Consultant Tom Walker. He understood our wishes to just test drive an Escape and not give us the "hard-sell" because we really were "just looking" and not ready to buy. Tom took the time to explain all the features and allowed us to take a test drive and answered all of our questions without pressuring us to make a decision. After doing our own research and comparisons, we decided to return to Tom and buy the Escape from Dave Smith Ford. Larry was very good with getting back to me when I was looking to purchase my ford fusion and had the whole thing arranged very same day. I purchased an 2010 Expedition (used). As part of the purchase, I asked for services rather than price negotiations . The price was fair, but not great. I asked for the car care package in which they under coat the truck to protect from rust. Due to the fact that I have kids I also wanted the inside protected. ( I paid for this.) I went on a family trip. Due to the length of the trip when I came back, I went to get an oil change to make sure I stayed within the warranty. Knowing the mechanic, I asked to check on the undercoating. After looking several minutes, it was concluded that this was not done. Because, this is long winded, I will leave you with this. The interior was also sprayed, yet a kids foot print had to be professional cleaned. Hence, I can only assume they didn't complete the interior processes either. Bottom line, I had to send the the truck back 3x to resolve the problem with the dealership. Finally, I went to use my "bright" head lights only to fine there is a burned out light. How does that pass inspection? Concluding, I know this is sounds petty. However, my point is double check everything before signing. Their word, does not mean anything.

Experienced very poor customer service. Notified dealership of eminent delivery of fleet vehicle and did not receive a return call. Learned that vehicle was delivered via fleet website. Called to inquire about delivery and did not receive a return call. Called again and arranged to provide paperwork required to complete vehicle registration. Called next day to track progress toward registration and did not receive a return call. Called later (4 PM on day when sales department was open until 8 PM) to learn that registration was complete, but sales person was too busy with "retail customer" to complete delivery (apparently, I was considered a "nuisance customer"). Delivery could not be scheduled for an additional two days although all paperwork had been processed and no other sales person was competent to handle delivery. My wife has purchased from this dealership within the last two years. However, I would only consider purchasing as many vehicles from this dealership as the return phone calls I have received through this delivery process, zero.

In early November I bought a 2013 Ford Edge. I was a little nervous about it because no being on my own I for the first time had to do this all by myself. Not that I couldn't but didn't know where to start. This isn't my first Ford. I have had an explore before and when I got the new Edge I was trading in a 2009 Edge. So I knew what I wanted. After talking to a few of my friends I went in and met Bill Anthony. He made my experience there easier. Less Stressful. I also met Jason once as well as some of the other staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful and happy. (you can be happy at work, that's allowed)? lol I like and trust Fords never had a bad experience with them and now that I was flying solo my confidence is even stronger. I have been doing my service here for several years. I work with Mike Ezzo, or Nick Yager. they always get me in and out quickly even if I don't have an appointment. It just seems like when I come here, they just do what I need. They don't try to sell me a bunch of stuff I don't need. If they see something during an inspection, they will tell me about it, and maybe just tell me to keep an eye on it. Maybe it's not a repair to get nervous about now, but might want to keep in the back of my head until next time. I appreciate that type of advice. Installed aftermarket remanufactured Napa brake caliper without my consent. Had to leave vehicle overnight because the part was not available. When picking up I ASKED if this was a "Ford" part which you would assume...I'm at a Ford dealer. Only then was I told it was not. Voicing my displeasure with the service manager, HE got upset and said "what do you want me to do for you?" Turns out the brake caliper was not the problem and trying to reschedule seems to be a problem now. "Tom" in service said he would get back to me. That was Tues.Nov 5th. Today is Sat.Nov 9th. Still waiting. Nice way to do business. Are they charging Ford prices for aftermarket parts???

In brief, vehicle was agreed upon at $15,500 including tax, tag, title. This is all documented via numerous emails. Sales associated told me his GM approved this and that I could come by anytime to complete the paperwork. My bank agreed to finance the vehicle. I went to the dealership with my finance paperwork in hand and called the sales associate. He stated he was not in and that I could come in on Saturday. He then stated he was "unsure" if was asking about a 2008 Ford Edge or a 2012 Ford Edge. All contact between was solely about a 2012 Ford Edge, and the link to the vehicle's web page was provided when starting our negotiations in my first email. He said he would have to talk to his GM. I called the GM and he reported no knowledge of this, would call Chuck, and get back to me. The vehicle has since been removed from their website (as of this AM) and my calls not been returned.Very poor customer service, deceitful, and an attempt at bait & switch practices.

Your Customer service is appalling. Your service department treats women with a demeaning attitude(Honey and Doll). You do not back your work and forget that when a transmission fails at 43,000 miles and again at 46,000- you need to hold your service department accountable, not attempt to get thousands of dollars out of the consumer and tell them to pay to tow their truck home and wait till they could afford to fix it. These are covered by the 12 month/12,00 mile warranty and you could be sued for that(lemon law). Ford has failed to do a recall on 2010-2012 F 150 transmission failures (400,000 trucks may be at risk). You let my truck sit there for 5 days, I contacted corporate and they wanted to put me in a new truck. No thanks- I just paid off this "Dead Truck" this month! It was worth paying the 99.00 for you to just "look" at it and say it wasn't our work- It's just a coincidence that something else broke and guess what you're responsible! Thanks for the humanity check and also for allowing the Chevy Rep to pick up my truck!

I thought that the after experience would be the same as the inital visit. I bought a warranty to keep the bills low for repairs 2007 Subaru; little did i know I was suckered. The time i bought the car they said they did a ( ??) Point inspection on the vehicle and in 30day the sway bar links had to be replaced. Then I smelt burning and they said it was a 500 dollar job warranty picked up still smelt like it was burning. Should have learned a dealership knows only what the carry so i was at the wrong place with Subaru problems!!!they suggested I take it to the Subaru dealer and 2 times work done no warranty. They just sold a vehicle the heck with quality. Tried to get warranty cancelled and they charged me 600 for a 500 job in less than a year. If a ford you seek maybe, but if its a foreign or used car stay away they are all about the money!!! Not customer.

They gave me a reasonable amount for my trade in right off the bat as well as dropped the price on the sticker of the car without a fuss. I received more on my trade in than I was expecting as well as paid less on new car than I was anticipating to have to pay. My salesman was very nice and engaging in conversations. We truly weren't planning on buying a new truck just playing the numbers to see what was out there and what we could get on a deal. Matt was the determining factor in our purchase. I walked into the dealership myself and was greeted immediately by a very lovely woman who spoke to be briefly and then called John Hana's over to me. I had always purchased vehicles from a friend who's dealership closed. John made me feel very comfortable immediately. He showed me all the cars I was interested in, we took the Fiesta out for a ride and I was hooked. I did get the fiesta and was pleased with my trade and my lease price. I would highly recommend Dave smith and would highly recommend John without reservation. He didn't pressure me and made me confident with my decision. He took care of contacting the DMV, my insurance company and Wells Fargo who I had the loan with my trade. He did everything for me! I came back to the dealership an hour and half later and drove off in my brand new Fiesta. I love this car! Thank you John for making my experience so easy and pleasant! AAAA++++ experience!

I stopped at quite a few of different dealers before i went to dave smith ford. I live quite a distance away and looked at dealers close to me. The dealerships close to me were a disappointment when trying to do a purchase. I talked to the salesman over the phone pretty much did the whole deal in one night went next day and drove away in a new truck. These guys were great not pushy and promised me a deal and came through. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a great experience. Top notch dealership. I had a poor running 7.3 powerstroke; the truck was missing, bucking, shaking. I brought it in to have the truck diagnosed by a (hopefully) knowledgeable ford diesel tech. I asked the service writer whether or not their diesel tech was good and had experience w/ the 7.3 diesel; I did not want to waste my money or throw parts at a problem. I was assured by service writer "Mike" that they had a good diesel tech and he knew the 7.3 diesel engine. After $$400+ spent on diagnostics (which I would have been fine with had they fount the problem) and several incorrect diagnoses that they (to their credit) called me back and let me know were not correct (except for bad ecm which they claimed died randomly as soon as they tried to read codes - cost me $300), they ran out of Ideas and wanted to keep my truck longer. They claimed (incorrectly, according to affidavit from my initial purchase dealership in missouri) that they couldn't read any other codes or do any more diagnostics until they fixed two irrelevant faults in the ECM. These codes were a waste-gate selinoid fault and an exhaust back-pressure sensor fault. I told them those things had been disconnected for years and are irrelevent to the problem I'm having. I told them at this time that I didn't want them to continue and I would pick up my truck. I had intended to take it to a different (hopefully more competent) diesel mechanic who has years of experience with the 7.3 in Ford Trucks. Before I did this however, I decided to check a few things myself as I had some time that evening. FIRST thing I checked was my fuel pressure with a cheap ($5) gauge and then looked in my fuel filter housing to see how fast it would fill up w/ fuel - turns out, NOT very! The gauge I bought was reading around 15psi when the key was initially turned on, but after the truck ran for a minute or two dropped to below 7 psi; this is when the truck started bucking and missing. I replaced the fuel pump w/ a brand new NAPA pump (less than $180 part) and my truck runs like new - all the problems have been solved.When I called service writer Mike about the solution and my disapointment - he fed me a load of nonsense and untruths about fuel pressure unable to be checked because of two other faults in ECM - my initial sales dealership in missouri (the head service manager) told me this wasn't true and that fuel pressure and other tests could be run. Mike was making things up to excuse the poor knowledge and diagnostic ability of his staff and himself. This service department is NOT to be trusted on any diagnostic work - especially on diesel trucks. Their customer service when confronted with the facts was abysmal and they had no interest in making this "right" or keeping me as a customer (I have frequented this dealership for minor service for the last few years). I will strongly recommend against using this service department or dealership until at least some attempt at better customer service is made; I understand techs can screw up or misdiagnose, or may just not be up to snuff, however, how they handled their failure with me, the customer, was awfull. I went in from an add online, and I had emailed a cpl time. John M, got back to be in a timely manner. They actually gave me a ball park figure on my cars trade value, and in person we achieved the same value! They worked well with me, because I needed to wait about 10 days for my refi to finish on my home.. pulled my credit and took care of it the following day! Only SLIGHT issue I had was the contract had a $500 error in the dealers favor, but i reviewed it and was corrected!... I had a very easy transaction, and i found the dealership and the people easy to deal with. I would refer anyone that wanted a nice low pressure sale.

Recently I had to take my 2006 Fusion in to the dealership for a recall. Since the dealership that I bought the car from is now gone, I googled to see where to take my car. I took it to Dave Smith Ford in Williamsville because they had some positive reviews. While my car was in for the recall, they asked me if I would like to take advantage of some of the other discounted services that they had at the time. I should say that I usually take my car to the quick lube down the street, so I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were at the dealership. Usually the dealer's prices are alot higher. I was able to get the recall done quickly, and I also had the "works " package done. My car was done right, and they also gave me a voucher for a car wash. I was out the door for under $50 and I know that my car was done right. Check out this dealership because they are nice people and will treat you right!

While enroute from Michigan to New Hampshire My ford F150 broke down in Portland NY on Rt90. The water pump and belt let go. The AAA driver recommended Dave Smith Ford for the repairs. Very glad he did. The mishap occured on Saturday evening after the service department closed and the vehicle was left in their lot for the weekend (no storage charge). On Monday I contacted the Service department and they informed me that they were aware of my vehicle and would contact me promptly after assessing the situation. I was contacted about 2 hours later with a diagnose of the repairs and a price. The work was completed the same day and arraingments were made to pick up the vehicle on Wednesday. The service department provided me with a pick at the airport even giving me the driver's(Brad)cell phone to notify him when I arrived. Breaking down on the road in an unfamiliar area can be very frustrating. Dave Smith Ford and his employees made this situation a little easier to handle. I would recommend this dealership to anyone traveling over the road that is in need or repairs.Paul M.

I was recently in the market for a car. I was in the market for a used car. I did lots of research online. I got my list of cars down to a few. I liked the new Ford Focus, and also the new Honda Civic. I located several vehicles in the Buffalo area. I went to a Honda dealer, and was unimpressed with the salesperson. The guy I talked to really didn't seem interested in what I wanted. He actually asked me what my credit score was!!! Are you kidding me?!? I left. I knew the Ford dealership on Transit Road had a few decent looking used Focuses, so I went over to check them out. The guy I talked to (John Martinek) was nice, and polite. He didn't ask me too much about money. He just seemed like he wanted to help me find a car that I would like. Very refreshing. We drove several used cars, and ultimatele I ended up buying a 2012 Ford Focus. It is a really nice car. I paid around $15000 plus tax. I did my research on the prices so I thought that this was a good deal for me. Bottom line, If you're in the market for a new Ford, check out Dave Smith Ford. they seem nice, and the car I ended up with was a good value.

I have been doing my oil changes here for a couple years now. I like the service guys. the prices area about the same as AAA so I would rather do it at the dealership. Last time in I saw Dave Smith joking around with some customers. It was nice to see the owner mixing it up with the customers. I am glad to give them a good rating for that.

I have been in business for 38 years and I have dealt with many people in that time. My experience in business has taught me who good service people are! After meeting Larry Hickmont, Sales Consultant, I felt very comfortable working with him. Larry was honest right from our first meeting. He gave me an estimate for my Ford F150 that beat the other two major dealers in the area right from the start without having to do any horse trading! He also answered ALL my questions clearly and understandably. The other two other major dealers I visited in the area both gave me the feeling that I was not getting the best deal I could from them. After I drove out with my new truck Dave Smith Ford called me to tell be that an error was made in my purchase price and I was overcharged $1,000 for my truck. They reimbursed me. This might have gone unnoticed with all the paperwork you must sign and all the figures to read buying your new vehicle. Even being in business for many years doesn't give enough experience to see everything and when you are siging all your papers when buying your new vehicle and you are in a "mode of excitement"! PLEASE all know that the staff at Dave Smith Ford are truly professional people!I LOVE MY FORD F150 King Ranch! THANK YOU DAVE SMITH FORD!

I had just been involved in an accident with my '01 Caravan, other party's fault, and I have been dealing with a lot of hassle on their side of getting my losses compensated.I stop at Dave Smith Ford one rainy Saturday, and immediately, a sales rep is out there, asking us my price-range, what sort of vehicle I was looking for. Within a short while, he had toured the vehicles within my meager buying power, and I was shown the one! A lightly used 2005 Buick LeSabre with unbelievably low mileage, great mpg, fantastic condition, and a great lifetime powertrain warranty. The sales rep was knowledgeable about the history and the reliability of the vehicle. It was tempting, but I continued to shop around at several more dealers. I had nothing but inexperienced, indignant, or ignorant sales reps that got me no-where closer to closing in on any worthy vehicles. I was going to go to a few more used-car lots, but I was sure that this car at Dave Smith Ford was the only great deal out in this market!The purchase of the vehicle went swiftly, and I've had the best dealer experience in my life. Saw an add on cars.com for a 2009 Ford Fusion and called to make an appointment to test drive the car. Upon calling, Larry Hickmott answered, and was waiting at the door ready to greet us even before we set foot into the dealership. We had no previous expectations of coming home with a car, but to our surprise, we bought the car within a few hours, traded in an old, high mileage van, and found out the car was covered under a lifetime power-train warranty. Larry patiently answered all our questions and explained all the details without beating around the bush. The driver door handle had a crack in it which was discovered the next day and Larry took care of everything, placed an order for the part and had it replaced. Furthermore, due to some errors in the paperwork, some papers had to be resigned with the correct information for which Larry came to us at our convenience. Larry has been phenomenal throughout this entire experience! I HIGHLY recommend him and Dave Smith Ford!

I had an awesome experience at Dave Smith Ford this week! I walked in not expecting to find what I wanted.. However I found exactly what I wanted and actually drove home with a brand new Ford Focus that I decided to lease that day. It is an awesome car.. I love it! Its great on gas, its cute, the color I wanted, and most importantly I got it for a price I can afford! The service from the sales team at the dealership was top of the line. I attended this dealership on November 5/2011 with coupon in hand to have my front and rear brakes changed on my 2007 Ford Focus S/W. It had been 60,000 miles since the front brakes and rotors had been replaced. The rear brakes had never been replaced and the car has over 100,000 miles on it. I dealt with Mike Krywcun the service rep who quickly had the car inspected by a mechanic. To my surprise!! I was called out to have a look and advised that I still had approx. 40,000 more miles to go before I needed brakes, front and back. I give the mechanic and Mike 5 stars for honesty and integrity. They could have just gone ahead and replaced the brakes and I would have not been the wiser. Both the mechanic and Mike were a pleasure to deal with. I was charged $30.00 for the inspection which gave me great peace of mind that my brakes were fine. I would recommend this dealership to everyone, honest and reasonable. A great big THANKYOU!!!!

took 2002 excusion in for inop. p/door locks,785 dollars later. vehicle parked in my driveway for 3 days locks inop. locks came back,drove to virginia, sat for 2 days locks inop. locks came back.took back to dealer,vehicle malfuctioned for them,they have had it for a week no repair in sight, spoke to them today no solid ansewer,tech had a bad attiude as he tossed keys to manager,i am an ex ford dealer tech and understand some of this, but with all the tech networks on the internet i am sure this not the only time this has happened. i have 5 fords in my driveways and was looking for ford shop for repairs i could not do. if this ever gets corrected i will never step foot in this dealer again.

Be very carefulWe agreed to the price and terms of the deal and they took my deposit. The next day when I went to pick up the vehicle, as we were going through the contract I realized they changed the the term of the lease and it was going to cost me an additional $2000.I should have know this was going to happen - during negotiations every time I asked for the price in writing, they came up with a ridiculous story that the deal is written on a copywritten form and it would be illegal to give me a copy.After talking to other people I found out that they had the same experience. They agreed to the price on a 48 month loan and after signing all the papers they found out it had been changed to a 60 month loan.

I had a really great experience dealing with Jim Otis and Dave Smith Ford. From the first time I met Jim at the Clarence Market he was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I told him when I met him in October 2010 that I was not likely to purchase a car until the end of February 2011. There was no pressure as I returned to the showroom for a test drive and several more visits just to look at the car. I also visited several other dealers, but I was most impressed with the way I was treated at Dave Smith Ford. I purchased the new Ford that I wanted on March 18, 2011 and I am very pleased with both the car and Dave Smith Ford. We enjoyed our experience at Dave Smith. The salesman, Rick, was professional and courteous. He made us very comfortable and was easy to speak with him about the vehicles. His knowledge of the cars and additional products was very good. If he didn't know he got us the correct answer instead of giving incorrect information. He did not pressure us for a sale and even stayed late on the evening we purchased from him. We would have waited till the next day, but he stayed late to make sure we got the best service.

Was cruising the area pricing vehicles and stopped to look at the window of a 2006 Pontiac Torrent. Was approached by Charlie and he invited me in and was very courteous, asked me what I was looking for. He showed me a couple vehicles that were in the cash price range I was looking for, but I was not interested. He then showed me a vehicle that was newer and a bit more but I did not like the brand so he asked what else he could do. We started to talk particulars and he felt that even with my less than stellar credit he could put me in something that would make me happy. I had owned a Chevy Equinox for 4 years and liked it. He showed me the Torrent and I took it for a drive. The Torrent is very much like an Equinox and has the features I enjoy (except cruise control, but I am getting used to not having it)and I was able to get it at a great price with low mileage. I am very happy with the vehicle and had a great time and experience at Dave Smith Ford. Charlie is a great guy and a good sport, we had alot of fun. I definately would buy another vehicle here.

I feel Dave Smith Ford deserves a top rating because my salesman, Rick Stroehlein and the Finance Manager, Alison Smith, were extremely courteous and exemplified the meaning of the word professionalism. I turned in a Ford product (2006 Lincoln Zephyr) which I had been completely satisfied with and i'm sure I will be equally satisfied with my new Fusion. You keep making great cars and I'll keep buying them!
