Frank always is responsive, professional and transparent with communication, service and cost associated with my vehicle. He makes sure to get me into his calendar as quickly as possible, has my vehicle serviced on time and correctly the first time. I always return because of his attention to detail and follow up. He is certainly not the closest dealership to me So it does make a difference.

The service at this dealership was horrendous. After multiple "miscommunications" I made the decision to buy out my lease, as I enjoyed the vehicle just not the dealership. The check was brought to the dealership and cashed and I was told I was all set several times. A month and a half goes by and I get a notice from the Ford credit company I have an overdue lease payment and received a notification of a lease extension that needs to be completed. I called Ford credit (who were great) and they informed me the dealership never notified them of me buying my lease out. I called Davidson and they made several excuses to why this could have happened, yet I had the invoice of sale. Aaron in finance did his best to correct the issue, but after several unnecessary trips to the dealership, it was too little too late. It was like they have never sold a vehicle before. I called Ford to file a formal.complaint and after I explained my issue they told me that they were embarrassed of the issue and recommend to not buy a vehicle from there again. I've now heard from many other people that they also will never be going back to Davidson either after their issues. I'm sure there are many smooth transactions, but there is a big risk dealing with this dealership. Good luck.

Absolutely the worst service department I ever had to deal with. Jim who is the truck service manage should not be in that position. I brought my truck in two times to fix the same issue. First time I scheduled the appointment was with Jim on Friday before July 4th he told me they will keep it over the weekend assuming they would work on it. Turns out they don’t work weekends and my truck was never worked on until Monday when they told they could not fix it needed more parts. Once parts came in I scheduled the appointment 1.5 months out, dropped the truck off the day before two weeks later still no call. I call them Jim tells me he would look into it and call me right back. No return call. I call again speak to the manager he informed me that my truck was not worked on because they needed to order parts for another car. What that car has to do with mine I still can’t figure out. Also tells me I would need to reschedule again. Absolutely the worst service department in our area

I recently brought my car in for a recall service on the passenger side airbag to Davidson Ford. The service on this occasion was efficient, having taken me even a few minutes before my scheduled time. The staff was also very courteous, and kept me informed via my cell phone on progress, and let me know when my car was ready. The service was completed on time.

My experience with Davidson Ford has been anything but pleasant. When the Salesman says, "I'll have my mechanics look it over", don't believe him/her. During the initial test drive I noticed the brakes were very bad (pre-owned with 30,xxx+). You would think that they would keep safety in mind while selling a vehicle, not the case. I had brought up my thoughts about replacing the brakes and as I previously stated, he said he would have his mechanics look it over. Oddly enough, I never received a MIF (Multi point inspection) that the mechanic had thoroughly gone through this vehicle. So I am supposed to believe that this vehicle was inspected properly? Well my brakes say different. Never again will I bring my vehicle to this dealership, nor will I ever recommend that anyone go there.

REALLY?? RETIREMENT SALE?? I was given a better deal at another dealership that WAS NOT having a retirement sale. This was one of the biggest bogus advertisements I have ever seen from a car dealer. This was no different than if I went in there to buy a vehicle 2 years ago, same bottom line - nothing more - nothing less!

Just purchased from Raynor's so no comment on service, but this is the first ford truck our business has bought and the experience with the dealership was very pleasant. Jerry MacDonald work to deliver a quick turn around for the accessories that were dealer installed so we were not with out a work vehicle at a critical time. Good Job and look forward to building the relationship. And no, I didn't go to any other dealer the price was a fair arrangement and you can't ask for more than that.

In both cases, I did my homework and I knew what I wanted to pay. They shot me great pricing out of the gate without a lot of messing around and got me into the exact vehicle I wanted. My Salesman for both transactions was Jerry MacDonald. Jerry did the usual follow-up call to make sure I was happy with my purchase but what is impressive, is that he called me six months later, just to see if I still liked the car. That's just flat outstanding! I find Jerry honest, fun to work with and he sincerely works very hard to help you. I can't recommend him enough. Fred Raynor (the owner) does a great job of setting the right environment for his staff and his customers. He even made it a point to come over and thank me for buying from his business. First class..Raynor is one of the few remaining neighborhood dealers that is really part of the community. If your tired of the hard sell, Big Box car dealers where you feel like a number and a sales quota, go see Jerry at Raynor. I returned to Fred Raynor Ford after several different auto company leases. I last purchased a new vehicle from this dealership in 1996. I just kept remembering how pleased I was with my last Ford (Aerostar) and thought I would return to this dealership and purchase again. I was treated like a treasured client even after such a long time. I wanted a ruby red 2014 Escape and Jerry Macdonald found exactly the vehicle I wanted! I was and am very pleased with the way I was treated and the vehicle I am leasing. Gas mileage is great, too! Eight more miles (or more) per gallon than I was getting on my former lease (not a Ford). Our buying experience was a great one! There was no high pressure sales, just friendly, helpful information about the Lincoln we were interested in purchasing. Shawn did a wonderful job finding the lowest financing rate, and was a pleasure to work with. Doing all the final paperwork went smoothly, and quite fast! I found the vehicle i was looking for on autotrader.com and submitted a request to see if the car was still available. Within about a half hour i received a phone call from Jerry and was asked when i was available to come look at the car. We scheduled an appointment for the next day and when i showed up i was greeted with an attitude i was not used to at a car dealership... very laid back, not pushy and no pressure what so ever. Jerry introduced me to features in the Taurus SHO i was looking at that i was very shocked to see in such a reasonably priced car. I took the car for a test drive and immediately decided that was the car i had to have. When i got back to the dealership there was no "now lets cut to the chase" vibe from Jerry, it was a more down to earth experience as if i weren't just the next sale to close out the month. Financing was equally easy and even though it was a drawn out process due to delays beyond either of our control they were very patient and understanding. We closed the deal today 1/31/14 and i couldn't be happier with the car. Jerry, I personally want to say thank you for the stellar attitude and making my experience one to remember and I will definitely be back for my next car!!!

I have just purchased a 2014 Ford Edge. Over the past 20 years, I have purchased many cars from this dealership. Dealing with Fred Raynor Ford is like dealing with your own family. The entire staff makes you feel like you are most important person in the dealership. I know that when I purchase a vehicle, it may not be the lowest price, but it is fair price for both parties. Great experience dealing with Jerry! I will only shop here for cars from now on, and Jerry is my guy! He was very helpful, not the usual pushy sales guy. An all around great experience buying here both before and after the sale. I will also be sure my wife gets her next car here as well. I also like the fact that they are very open to working on finding the car you want. I had an idea on what my trade in was worth and Jerry hit it on the mark exactly the first time, there was absolutley no need to barter on the trade he was extremely fair and upfront.

Everything seemed excellent when I first bought the car. Eric was great. However, when I bought the car I traded in two vehicles and he stated he was going to turn the plate into DMV for the vehicle I was not using to transfer plates. He did not turn the plates in for a week and it took three months, several phone calls and an in person visit to have him provide the information to my insurance company that I no longer owned the vehicle I had traded in. Thus taking three months for me to get a refund from my insurance company. If a service is going to be offered it should be done in a timely fashion.

visited dealership over 5 times this past year seeking "the right" used car at a really fair price. The sales people come right out on the lot - in rain, and snow - hot and cold!They introduced, asked if we needed someone in particular, what we were looking for, why we were looking (ie a younger driver - for college car) . Asked us if we would like to speak with owner, or finance prior to purchase, etc. Dealership is neat and clean even though older building. Staff works as a team to get you service, answer questions, and deliver the car.This is a dealership looking to meet your needs and I was invited to follow up with service manager if I had any service concerns. Fred Raynor Ford has provided us a no pressure, when you are ready, approach to finding us a reliable one owner used vehicle with reasonable mileage. My wife and I entered the dealership looking for a second vehicle. Jerry approached us in a very friendly manner asking if he could help us. We looked at several different new and used SUVs. He told us to take our time on all the test drives. Both of us agree that there was never any feeling of being pressured to make a purchase. He gathered some basic information on the amount we were looking to spend and between him finding us the right vehicle and Shawn working the finances we ended up with the exact payment structure we were looking for. Shawn also took the time to explain every aspect of their extended warranty which we were interested in and also made sure that any questions/concerns were fully answered before we left the office. Fred Raynor is a long time friend, and when my friend Lynne needed a new car ASAP, I immediately thought of Fred. He set us up with Dave Harr, who showed us everything in our price range for us to decide. We ended up choosing a 2012 Jeep Liberty. Although Fred is a Ford dealer, Dave knew everything about a Jeep, and spent considerable time explaining everything and answering all our questions. We also talked to Shawn Colton, who extended the warranty, and explained the Ford/Jeep warranty relationship. We were given a courtesy car to use while they polished up our Jeep. When we picked it up, it looked like new with a tank of gas. All of Fred's employees think very highly of him, and we were made aware of that from all that we talked to. Lynne has already recommended Fred to her brother who is interested in a van, and he has contacted Dave Harr.

George is an honest, knowledgeable and polite and I truly enjoyed working with him. Got a great deal, and it was delivered as promised. I hope Ford doesnt make them change thier facility. Granted it is dated, but I dont want to pay for part of a dealers shiny new sign when I buy a car. I certianly would recommend buying a Ford product there, I have no experience with thier service department, and based on my 1988 mustang gt that iI still have, it wont need much service. I did not know that George Parrys nickname was "gentleman" and it fits him perfectly!

We had a good experience at Raynor Ford. The salesman we worked with was friendly, accommodating, and willing to deal with us. Dealing is important when buying a used vehicle. We did have to wait while he helped someone who got there after us, most likely because he bought new and we bought used. When we got the vehicle home we noticed that some fluids they were supposed to fill were not filled. Minor issues though for a beautiful used vehicle at a great price.

Our experience at Fred Raynor Ford was excellent. All of the people that work there are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is not intimidating and we became quite comfortable very quickly. We had never bought a Ford before, but while doing research to purchase a car, we came upon the reviews of the Ford Fusion. We decided to purchase locally if we could, and so we ended up at at Raynor Ford. Milo, our sales specialist, was very informative and sensitive to all of our concerns. He spent a lot of time explaining everything and was very conscientious about being sure that we felt comfortable. He was very patient answering all of our questions. He also had a great sense of humor. As far as the cost of the car, we feel that it was a fair price. We could have gone shopping elsewhere and possibly found a better price, although we are not sure that would be the case. But we like the car, we like the price, we like the location, and we like the staff.

I would recommend Raynor Ford, however, this is what I don't like about the car business. I paid the sticker price less dealer incentives. Then when my friends ask me the breakdown they say "well I went to this other dealership and they took money off the sticker plus I got incentives too. You paid too much". Why isn't the practice uniform? I hate being told I could have or should have negotiated something better. It's a beautiful truck. I love it. But, as a businessman myself, I don't have the time to play games and dicker back and forth or get up and walk out of the dealership and wait for a return call from the salesman. I am there to do business. Get me in and out. I don't want to hear that I paid too much. Now, the help and service was outstanding. I think I should have not paid the full sticker price. How is it that other people do it I don't know. Thank you, but overall I am happy with the dealership. I guess other people must be better at negotiating than I am.

This overall experience was amazing. This was my first time ever being to a dealership to look for a new/used car for myself. I walked around the lot for a minute when Jerry one of the sales reps walked out. He held the keys to the ford focus i was looking at and right away asked if I wanted to takes a test drive. Jerry was very friendly and didn't hesitate to hand the keys to a to me. Jerry made the entire experience very pleasant for me not knowing exactly what to expect. When I picked the car up the next day Jerry happened to be busy with another, I'm sure satisfied customer, so another sales rep Eric helped me with paperwork. Eric was very pleasurable and explained every form very well for me to understand, also didn't hesitate to stop if I had questions. Eric also knew a lot about the Microsoft Sync system equip on my 2009 ford focus I ended up purchasing. Eric explained some key features to me and helped sync my phone up to my car or my car up to my phone lol, Overall awesome experience with Fred Raynor Ford. Thank You so much Jerry and Eric!

My actual purpose was to have the brakes on my Ford 500 replaced. I knew I would be there about 2.5 hours because I had another item worked on at the same time. I walked into the showroom and looked around, and then began to talk to Eric. At a little after 600 I left with a 2008 Jeep Liberty. I had no plans to actually replace my car that day, but Eric's professionalism, and attitude sealed the deal. I felt no pressure, and believe that if I had walked away, I could return another time to be treated the same professional way.

I had an issue with my 2011 Ford Explorer and Betty had me come right in and had Tony check out my car. He found the issue, corrected it. It took more than 1 visit to correct the issue with my car and the staff was patient and always there to meet my needs and tried to take care of my car timely. Just a maintenance visit, but scheduling and everything else was accommodating and easy. Checkups at this point are still under warranty for me, but the staff was thorough at explaining each step and what they found (which was that there were no repairs needed). This was my second purchasing situation with Raynor Ford. Six years ago, I purchased a car from them. Now, with over 100K on the car, I returned to look at the inventory. Another great experience. Friendly and always courteous, the car buying experience was best described as "no hassle" and "no pressure". They encouraged me to drive three different models and spent time with me explaining the differences and details of each one. I had done my due diligence on the internet and found that their bottom line quote was better than I had expected. I found that they spent time answering my questions and did all the paperwork with the DMV. Another great experience. Highly recommended for someone who doesn't want the "pressure" and bells and whistles of many other dealerships.

We recently purchased a 2013 Ford Fusion from Milo Long. This is our 6th investment with Fred Raynor Ford and as with all the others we were treated courteously and professionally. Milo has always dealt with our best interests and has at times even recommended that we not purchase particular models and or features based on knowledge of our interests and life styles. My wife and I were very originally disappointed with the discontinuing of the Mercury models and rather hesitant to return to the Ford offerings. Then came the new 2013 Fusion with a design that was attractive to both of us. Not only was the new appearance appealing, it also had several safety features i.e. blind spot detection, rear view camera with cross traffic detection, and driver assist; that definitely were a plus for us as senior citizens. Senior we may be, but we like to have a car that has the power and acceleration to deal with all traffic situations. So we opted for a 6 cylinder like the one we were used to in our Mercury Milan. Milo said that presently was not an option and challenged us to try the new 4 cylinder EcoBoost engine. We ended up getting the 2 liter one and it has outperformed all our expectations. Not only does it have more get up and go compared to our previous models, it also has better mileage! As to service, it used to be that we had an independent garage work with our vehicles, but having dealt with Fred Raynor for the past 15+ years weve had all of our service complete there. The maintenance is readily scheduled and efficiently performed at competitive prices. Technicians, like Traci Haynes have kept our vehicles running in top condition and take obvious pride in their work.

Vehicle 1I brought my 2 year old explorer in for a water leak. On third trip in, I explained to the service manager how to find the leak, by turning the blower on all the way and soap up the truck... where there are bubbles...thats the leak. But after the three trips in to fix, they put glue on top of truck, from front to back in the factory seam. It was a mess, you could see it from ten feet away. on fourth trip, this one to clean up the mess they made with the glue..... they wrecked the paint, chips and burned areas, trying to get the glue off that they had put on. Had to take it back a fifth time... to get painted. While they had my vehicle to paint, they sealed the satellite radio antenna. They were nice enough to offer me a chevy aveo (teeny,tiny piece of crap car) to put my boys in along with my wife, while they fixed my 40 thousand dollar vehicle. (If i wanted a dangerous car for my family, i wouldnt have bought an explorer.) After all was said and done, on the reciept for the paint job (in which they didnt want to give to me at first), it stated that customer was dissatified with paint from factory. They made FORD pay for the paintjob that FredRaynor ford wrecked.Vehicle 2I also own a ford windstar that went in for a recall on the front suspension. They brought it in, told me that it needed parts, but it was ok to drive till the parts came in. Within a week or so, the front control arm seperated from the frame while it was being driven in a McDonalds parking lot. Thank god we were able to get the van stopped before it hit any kids or cars, and thank god i wasnt doing 55 miles per hour down the road. That could have been a mess. Had to get it towed to fred raynor ford. Fred Raynor ford wouldnt even re-imburse me for the tow job. It took 2 weeks more for parts to come in, then when i got it back, it wouldnt turn right as tight as it would turn left, and the rack bound up as you turned it,,, so back again i went to Fred raynor ford where they said i wrecked the rack and pinion. I argued the point that the rack may not be bad .... please check it out. They found they had mis aligned the splines in the rack with the splines in the steering column,,, thus making it turn this way, binding and releasing as you turned the wheel. Took five trips total for this to be repaired. Both vehicles were messed up by them and i had to fight to get it fixed. It cost me hundreds of dollars for fuel, loaner vehicles, etc during this time, not to mention added miles on the cars and time wasted. Never an apology. Six months before this, I had made a purchase of a truck from them, so I cant even say that i wasnt a good customer. I cant understand how a business could be run this way, and I tried several times to talk with the owner, The ownwer was never in and couldnt use a phone.THEY WON'T GET ME A THIRD TIME!!!!
