Jillian was the best rep I’ve bought a car from. I was very forward about the car I wanted, the price I needed monthly and what I wanted for my trade in. She met all of my requests which made it very easy. Turned in my 08 Wrangler Unlimited for a 17 2 Door Sahara and I’m impressed with the car so far. There was only minor wear which is very common with used Wranglers. They’re being cautious about cleaning and sanitizing which is also good. Overall great experience and the buying process was pretty simple.

I have no connection what so ever with this place of business. I was in Fowlerville and stopped to see what they would offer for my jeep outright. In the parking lot, I called and they told me to park in the service bay. I should say that I have always sold privately and was more curious for that reason. They were extremely fair, to a point that I will return for my next buy. No insult with low balling. I walked away needing a ride home, which they provided easily. Great customer service and friendly atmosphere.

The dealership in itself was great. Tom told me there was a 2nd key to the jeep that I purchased. He was supposed to mail it to me. He never did. I text him on 2 occasions. I drove 90 miles to get the key and he still did not have it. It looks like I never will. When you buy a vehicle you always get 2 keys. If he didn't have a 2nd key, he should have said so right away. He didn't seem to want took help after that.

Dick Scott was not on my list of dealers I originally intended to shop, but I stopped in and Ashley Smith changed that. Ashley is the perfect mix of attentive but not pushy. What a wonderful car-buying experience! My wife called the dealership at 3pm to let them know I wanted to test drive a used minivan. By 6:30pm the same day I was walking out of the dealership with keys in hand. Ashley had the van ready to drive immediately upon my arrival, and answered all my questions in a friendly manner. Jeff walked me through all the paperwork in an expedient, personable way. I never imagined buying a car could be this simple, but at no point did I feel like corners were cut or that anything was left unexplained. Oh, and my wife is over the moon with her new ride! First impression is it's very dirty and needs to be remodeled. Besides the to newest salesmen witch I had, the others did not seem friendly at all. They had all my information and the amount I was putting down and my appointment was at 12:00. I got there at 11:30 and didn't get waited on till 12:30. I will never buy a car from here again and neither will I send anyone here.

Recently went there to trade in and purchase a car. The finance Manager was horrible, condescending and had no idea what he was doing. He spoke to me condescendingly and down to me like I was stupid. I had previously purchased a vehicle from Dick Scott when I shouldn't because they were very unwilling to work out a deal and gave me far less on my trade in than it was actually worth. They use every slimy sales pitch to make you think they are doing you a favor. Unfortunately the salesperson I was dealing with on this occasion was new and had no clue of how to communicate information to us. When we went straight to the finance manager he was a sleeze. We are now working with a better dealership willing to use both my husbands and my income, putting only him on the loan because my credit is not the best and amazing our interest rate is lower and we don't have to bring money to the table. This guy should be let go. I talked to him for a minute and knew there was no way he was going to work with me and that he was slimy.

I bought a Jeep at this place a couple months ago. I had to buy it within days because my vehicle died, and Ashley at Dick Scott was great and was able to facilitate a purchase I wanted within days. However, after buying a 40K vehicle I couldn't manage to get more than 1 free oil change out of the deal, and the overall respect I got post purchase was none. It then came time for my first oil change. I was at 4,000 miles. I was told that I get a free 1,000 mile maintenance. On the phone when I scheduled my oil change I asked if it was ok to get the general 1K maintenance done at the same time even though I was at 4K. I was told on the phone this was acceptable. The reason I wanted to do this is because I get 1,000 points at their dealership which would allow me to get some scratches touched up for free. When I got there, the service guy told me he would have to talk to a manager. The manager said no he can't. I told the manager this would result in me never coming back, he said no he can't do it, because I didn't come in at 1K miles.Long story short, touching up a couple paint scratches isn't worth a life long customer.Will never come here again.

I was looking for a new truck and our salesman asked questions to narrow down the intended use of the truck and what features I would be interested in having on the vehicle. Test drove one of the trucks on the lot and after shopping around and comparing brands of manufacturers the wife and I decided on a new Ram. The salesman searched and found a truck that met our needs and after confirming with us they traveled 500 miles to pick up this vehicle and trailered it back. The day the vehicle was ready for us to pickup the dealership sent a driver to give us a ride to the dealership so that we could enjoy driving our new truck home together. I do not believe you could be treated better anywhere else if you are considering purchasing a vehicle. Everyone we interacted with was great and provided us with an experience that made us feel great.

Shopping for a car with a 5 week old baby wasn't ideal. After completing my research online Dick Scott was excellent to work with. They allowed my husband to bring the vehicle home overnight so we didn't have to drag the baby 45 miles to the dealership. It gave me more time to look over (and drive) the car without feeling rushed. Our salesmen addresses the minor issues I had with the vehicle and we make a deal I was happy with. Even though the dealership is a 45 min drive we will work with them again for a future vehicle.

She xalled me as soon as we could test drive the truck. We told her to run financing that night. Jeff Lopez was amazing too. Don and Nelson make purchasing a car stress free. I just picked up our 5th car in 6 years from Don and couldn't be happier. The service is second to none. The whole process took less than 30 minutes. I made two phone calls and in 2 days my vehicle was available. My wife and I are specific in the options we require. This means that the vehicle we want usually must be found at another dealer or built. Don and Nelson always get it right. Even after 4 vehicles I still called one other dealer to compare price. Don and Nelson are 5 for 5 in the best price category. When I make a large purchase I expect four things. I want it fast, easy, accurate, and well priced. Don and Nelson have always delivered. I met Don in 2011 when trading in my old BMW. He gave me 3500 more for my trade than the BMW dealer down the road offered. I wish I would have met Don before I bought that BMW.

Don Harley, Jeff Lopez, Mitchell and Dennis were all amazing to work with.A few months ago I was referred to Don when my daughter needed a new car. I was amazed by the friendly and professional service we received during the purchase of her 2013 Chevy Malibu. Mitch helped her find the perfect car. After several test drives at various dealerships and scouring the internet for new and used jeeps available in our area, we bought a pre-owned Jeep Sahara from Dick Scott Motor Mall. It was a pleasure to work with Ashley, our saleswoman. We are happy with our purchase, so far, and the jeep is a step up from our original plan to buy the base model Wrangler Sport to tow behind our RV and use as a third vehicle (or maybe primary vehicle for one of us). For the price we feel we got a Jeep with low miles and quite a few "extras"--a good value. We loved that Dick Scott delivered our vehicle to our house after the purchase since we live over an hour away from the dealership! I wish our Jeep had come certified as part of the original sale price since it was a 2013 and was out of warranty, so we paid that extra fee for peace of mind. Before delivery they serviced the vehicle to make sure it was in good working order. The only glitch we had was that it was supposed to be detailed after our decision to buy it and it doesn't appear that it was when it was delivered (needed vacuuming and wiping down of the interior for example). The previous owner had turned it in clean, however, so it wasn't a big deal. Over-all this was a great experience!

I recently purchased a 2010 Jeep wrangler Sahara unlimited from this dealership. it had a problem with the rear passenger door at time of purchase, and I was assured that after they lubricated it, that it will work itself out with use. they were wrong.. I went to get my son out of the back seat, and the button stuck and the door wouldn't shut. I had to use a bungee cord to hold the door close. The windshield washer didn't work, but when you used the function on the lever, it sprayed the rear washer into the cargo area and into the interior of the vehicle. I tried to remove the dick Scott tire cover from the spare at the dealer, and the guy that sold me the vehicle (Mitchell) told me to leave it on there. it's a form of advertising for them.. I just bought what I thought was a great $23,500 vehicle and I didn't want to insult them by removing their cover on the lot... a couple days later I removed the cover, only to find out that the fire is slashed and has plugs in it. it's not a spare that I feel comfortable throwing on my vehile. then the rear passenger window stopped working. I am guessing it's because of all of the lubrication they put on the door mechanism that it got onto the electric window motor and did damage. then the coolant was really low and my heat stopped working... this is all with in 3 days of purchase.... so I was afraid that it's burning coolant... I brought all of these issues to their attention and they refused to make any of it right... that read door is a safety issue for my child, they won't fix it.. the guy back in service was very rude to, and I was told to talk to the guy that sold me the vehicle. Mitchell (the guy that sold me the vehicle) told me it will be taken care of, then I was informed that they will only fix the window washer issue. I was told to talk to the manager. I talked to the manager and he told me that I should be grateful that they are even fixing that one problem. at this point I'm very frustrated and I told them that I guess I should contact an attorney because I shouldn't have all of these issues right when I drive a $23,500 vehicle off of the lot, and then have them refuse to fix anything. I was stuck on the side of the road until I bungee corded my door shut and the door sensor was dinging and my interior lights were still on. After I said the word attorney, the managed told me to get in my vehicle and leave immediately. they refused to service the vehicle and threatened to call the police if I didn't leave at once. when I went back to the shop to get my vehicle, they were working on my door handle which I was told they were going to refuse to fix, and the manager told them to drop their tools and to get the vehicle out of there. I told the manager I can't legally drive off with a door swinging open. he said it's not his problem. the mechanic felt bad and popped the handle out so it would at least latch shut, and I said I better leave before your dick head manager calls the police huh. I thanked him for at least making it so I could drive without my door being open, and now I'm afraid to even try to open the door... worse experience ever, and I plan on telling everyone I know about this.

This is by far the best experience I've had. We purchased from them before and they were very good, Service is top notch, thats why we keep going back. Ashley Smith was a real pleasure to have for a salesperson. We called to inquire about 2 trucks before we even got there, she faxed us the window sticker for the 2 trucks we were interested in so I could check with Insurance. Than had her send a paper with total discount, rebates and final out the door price. When we went to take the first one for a ride it was ready to go. Didn't even bother with the second truck. We thought about it overnight, called and went in to give a deposit and made arrangements to pick it up next day. This is a 2016 Ram Laramie, does everything but drive itself we love it. If you go in I hope you look Ashley up, but all of them are really wonderful to work with.

I had researched prices across the state for leasing a Journey R/T. I called and inquired about Dick Scott's price for the lease and a phone call was returned within the hour with further details. The dealership was close to my home so I stopped in for a test drive. I was addressed promptly upon arriving and although I was in a time crunch, had to opportunity to test drive the vehicle and chat with the representative about further details all within 40 minutes. With Black Friday deals going on at multiple dealerships, I was pleased that this local dealership was able to match the prices I was quoted and they were able to obtain the vehicle within 48 hours. Had a follow up phone call and email regarding the purchase. Overall wonderful, pain-less experience by a friendly representative who was always available by phone. Picked up a 2006 Dodge Charger R/T Daytona from Mitchell. Great service, down to earth and extremely knowledgeable staff. Huge selection at the dealership and it seemed most of the used selection was in good condition as well. Trade-in was appraised quickly, car received a nice detailing and gas up before I drove it off. I will be buying my next car here as well.

Ii picked up a 2015 Baja Yellow Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited X on October 5, 2015. With my hectic schedules (work and personal) it was not always easy to communicate by phone, so Jud made it painless by quickly answering emails and providing me with all the pertinent information. Once I had all the pertinent information I was able to make a decision, emailed him on Friday, October 3rd telling him the vehicle I wanted, talked with him on Saturday and picked upon Monday. My experience here was outstanding from the time I walked into the dealership all the way through to the moment I drove off in my new car. Joe Murphy was a no nonsense kind of guy, I told him what I was looking for, the payment range I needed to be in and he delivered. I came in on a Wednesday night and picked up my new car on Saturday morning. He handled everything via text or with a phone call, there was no long waiting in a dealership showroom, no haggling on price and he did not try to sell me something I did not want or need. I went to 3 other dealerships before going to Dick Scott in Fowlerville. The customer service was awful at the ones I visited. No one was willing to help find me what I wanted. My husband talked me into going to this dealership to look at a Jeep Trailhawk. I thought there's no way we can make this happen and it would be a waste of my time. My boyfriend and I bought a 205 Chrysler 200 a few months ago and the buying experience was phenomenal. But, we took our car on a trip to the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate New York, and unfortunately a tree fell on it. We were able to drive it back, but took it into the repair shop the day after we got back. We also had an issue with our coolant as well. I just wanted to say that Brian, the manager of the Body Shop and his crew did an amazing job at restoring the car to mint condition. They were so friendly and helpful and understanding. We even had a loner for over three weeks. I always recommend people to buy from Dick Scott Motor Mall and I will only buy my future vehicles there as well as get any maintenance done there as well. Recently my wife decided that she wanted her dream vehicle, a Jeep Wrangler unlimited. We went to our local dealer in Lansing Champion. They didn't seem to want to work with me on any aspect of the deal. So we went to the dealer where the exact vehicle that we wanted was located in Fowlerville Mi Dick Scott Motor Mall. We met Chris Helka and he was wonderful. He listened to our needs and exceeded our expectations. We are a GM family and in the last 20 years have only purchased 1 Non-GM vehicle and that was from Champion in Lansing. The particular Jeep that I was interested was a special edition model that was difficult to come by. Chris made the process seamless in both locating and making the model I was interested in available to me within 24 hours. My oldest son who is only 17, knew I was going out of town after we had discussed getting a new truck. He knew I wanted a Ram, so he asked if he could go look while I was out of town. I told him he could try, but I didn't know if the sales people would help him or take him seriously. When I got back from my trip, he had 2 trucks picked out and took me to the dealership. It took me less than a week to get my car, actually about 3 days from the moment I started talking with Alexis! Actually found me a better rate and trade in offer was more than fair. The only challenge was upon taking delivery, the vehicle was not prepped well by the porters and took an extra 45 mins to finalize delivery. Otherwise, my experience at Dick Scott was top notch. Chris Helka did a great job for us as our sales guy. He was really on top of everything, which was important since we don't live in MI and made a 4 hour trip (one way) to look at and buy the truck. Once we got there, the entire transaction only took about 2 hours including the test drive and trade in. My only complaint is their management's policy of only filling the gas tank half way; kind of expected a full tank on a $53000.00 vehicle. Great job Chris! Thanks.

I purchased a used Chrysler 300 from this dealership. I was dealing with Joe Murphy for my sales person and he was top notch and I would recommend working with him. The finance manager was also great made everything very quick and easy. First thing I know I purchased a used vehicle with 100k on it, and it's not going to be perfect. But after purchasing the vehicle I found a couple safety concerns with it. I brought those concerns up to the dealership, which turned into a very long drawn out process. Eventually we were able to come to an agreement to get the problems fixed. I was just disappointed to have these safety problems from a dealership like Dick Scott to begin with. After they inspected the vehicle and confirmed the problem that they missed, I figured they would take care of it to make a customer safe and happy. But like a said they made the whole process very long, drawn out, time consuming. Other then that issue I was very happy with the sales and finance people I dealt with, not so much the management.

Called around to a few dealers and struggled to find the combination of colors and options I wanted for a Dodge Ram 1500. Also, getting someone to call you back seemed to be a struggle at a couple different dealers. Just by chance I came across Dick Scott Motor Mall that had the vehicle I wanted 230 miles away on the ramtruck.com website. I called and spoke with someone and left my phone number. The person who answered the phone was very polite and said someone would call me be back first thing in morning as it was 6:00 PM and the dealer was closing. At 7:30 PM the same day (after the dealer was closed) I got a call from Nelson. Nelson asked me what I was looking for and asked other questions germane to my inquiry. He said he would call me first thing in morning with pricing information. As a side note, I had found another vehicle that I would have purchased a day earlier, but a competitive dealer was poor with follow up and I got frustrated waiting for information. My philosophy has always been, if someone does not take care of you during the sale are they going to take care of you after the sale?Nelson called back as promised with competitive pricing. Also, showed an eagerness to do whatever it would take to make the "deal". There was only one problem, how was I going to get the vehicle 230 miles away? I was trying to make arrangements to come and pick up but it just was not going to happen. Well, Nelson suggested that they could delivery to me to my doorstep for no additional charge. Done deal. We had a phone agreement by noon on Friday and the Ram was delivered by Dennis at about 2:30 PM the next day (Saturday)! One day later my new Dodge Ram truck was in my driveway 230 miles away! I never felt pressured by Nelson, only that if that was the vehicle I wanted they would do their best to meet my expectations and put me in the vehicle.I am coming out of a competitive lease hence me shopping for a new vehicle. My wife and I will be shopping for another vehicle this fall and they will have first opportunity to win our business based on the experience with Nelson and the Dick Scott Motor Mall team. And yes, I would strongly urge anyone interested in a Chrysler product to call them and ask for Nelson Cypher.

Called around to a few dealers and struggled to find the combination of colors and options I wanted for a Dodge Ram 1500. Also, getting someone to call you back seemed to be a struggle at a couple different dealers. Just by chance I came across Dick Scott Motor Mall that had the vehicle I wanted 230 miles away on the ramtruck.com website. I called and spoke with someone and left my phone number. The person who answered the phone was very polite and said someone would call me be back first thing in morning as it was 6:00 PM and the dealer was closing. At 7:30 PM the same day (after the dealer was closed) I got a call from Nelson. Nelson asked me what I was looking for and asked other questions germane to my inquiry. He said he would call me first thing in morning with pricing information. As a side note, I had found another vehicle that I would have purchased a day earlier, but a competitive dealer was poor with follow up and I got frustrated waiting for information. My philosophy has always been, if someone does not take care of you during the sale are they going to take care of you after the sale? Nelson called back as promised with competitive pricing. Also, showed an eagerness to do whatever it would take to make the "deal". There was only one problem, how was I going to get the vehicle 230 miles away? I was trying to make arrangements to come and pick up but it just was not going to happen. Well, Nelson suggested that they could delivery to me to my doorstep for no additional charge. Done deal. We had a phone agreement by noon on Friday and the Ram was delivered by Dennis at about 2:30 PM the next day (Saturday)! One day later my new Dodge Ram truck was in my driveway 230 miles away! Ashley made us feel very comfortable with the entire car buying experience from the time we got to The Dick Scott Motor Mall to the time we took our 2015 Jeep Cherokee home later that night. I am so happy to write this review for Dick Scott auto mall. I recently had a car buying situation that needed to be handled in a very short time period due to a family tragedy. Don Harley and Mitch Malkasian went above and beyond to take care of all of the complex trade in arrangements as well as expedite the new car buying process at the dealership. It took less than two hours at the dealership after they handled everything else up front with a couple of phone calls. This is what makes them unique. Anyone can sell you a car, but not everyone can listen and help with the complexities that life situations sometimes bring. If you are looking for someone who cares about people - not just sales- this is your place. If you want to just be sold a vehicle, you might have to go somewhere else.

Ashley found me a 2010 escape, that had low miles, a warranty, and that was in great condition and the price was right!:) I got there right before closing so she had me fill out a credit app and the next day got me approved and everything done (other then signing papers) over the phone via text whIle I was working, which was great and saved ALOT of time. Nick also answered all my questions and explained everything great and got me a good rate. (especially for it being my first car loan). I am in love with my vehicle! Being an elderly couple she had so much patience with us, as we went from one question to another not knowing much about the electronics and etc. If she didn't know something she seeked help and responded with the correct info. We wanted a particular car and she worked hard to fine it for us. Have had the car now for a week and its wonderful, we are getting used to some of this modern day equipment. Still a little scary. I looked at and drove the domestic competition in small 4X4 SUV's and choose a well apointed V6 2015 Cherokee Lattitude. It just offered the most bang for the buck - and was the more spacious, quiet and smoothest ride as well. And - it has gittiup-go. The Wife likes that. Because I provide product for another US auto maker, they recently "requested" I buy a top end SUV from them. It's a great machine, but falls very short of the advertised fuel economy. This new Jeep is simply a better ride with about the same options for less money. It's more comfortable overall and is less harsh over the bad Michigan roads - and it's fun to drive. The various synch's were fast and easy, the garage door set up took maybe 2 minutes as opposed to the frustraion with Brand F, and that dual pane sunroof ? Really cool. My family and I have used Dick Scott Motors for over 22 years - each time with Nelson Cypher guiding us through the process. Nelson knows his product like you know your teenager's attitudes.... He makes the car buying experience pleasant and quick. We were in and out of the finance office in record time and there was no undue pressure put on us to purchase options - unlike the Brand F experience, where I was "held hostage" for over two hours. Jeff was very efficient and helpful, and we did choose the Chrysler brand rust prevention application. I was pleasently surprised when Jeff returned a one hundred dollar bill from my cash deposit, when two new bills were litterally glued together from the mint. How's that for an honest dealership. Car buying can be a real pain - but we enjoyed a great deal, and fast, friendly service at Dick Scott Fowlerville. It's why I come back

I just purchased a Jeep from Dick Scott and Chris was my sales rep. Very happy with the overall experience and would absolutely recommend Chris to a friend. I was intent at purchasing a jeep and visited a different dealership the day before but became so disenchanted with the dealer and manger that I left. On a whim I decided to drive 50 miles to Dick Scott in hopes things would be different. An hour later I had purchased a better jeep, with 20k less miles and $1000 less than what I was going to pay just a day earlier at a different dealer. Dick Scott also worked with me on my trade in to make things quick and easy. Chris was nice enough to have the car warm and waiting for me when I pulled up for my test drive. He encouraged me to take the car on the highway, test the 4wd and made sure I had all my questions answered. Chris made the process very easy which is most often not the case when you are buying a used car.

I have only purchased four new vehicles in my life, the first being in 1983. The most recent Dec. 2014. Price is only one factor in a sale. There are typical sales people and non typical sales people. Chris Helka is non typical in a good and refreshing way. Obviously one makes a living based on sales. It takes a good person to separate the need for a sale and the interest of the customer. I believe that Chris strives to be honest. He knows that if he is the customer will come back or make a referral. It is a difficult balance to maintain. I was actually promised a better deal at another dealership based on a description of what I was looking for. I believe that if I have problems with my vehicle that Dick Scott Motor mall with treat me with respect. A car is only a car and they are imperfect. People are imperfect but one can sense when one has ambitions higher or more noble then profit. Thanks Chris and all the staff I touched base with. The popcorn was good too!! Ashley was very helpful from the first phone call. We found a new 2014 Ram 3500 online on Auto Trader. We called the number and was directed to Ashley. She worked very hard to get exactly what we were looking for at a very reasonable price. We put a deposit down on the truck sight unseen, as it had to be transferred from Ohio to Michigan. When the truck arrived Ashley inspected it and noticed a small scratch in the paint. She had it brought into the shop and it was fixed immediately.Most of our paperwork was done over email so when we arrived to pick up the truck, all that was left was to sign the papers. I had taken my 15 year old Chrysler van to Dick Scott in Fowlerville for repairs; they were a half an hour away. I contact another dealership much closer to my home previously, Champion in Lansing, talked to their service department about the issues I was having. They were rude, short, and condescending..because I am a woman? Because my van was so old? Because someone was having a bad day? Who knows..there was no way I was going to take my vehicle there after that one call.... I called the service department at Dick Scott and they were so opposite...caring about my situation and wanting to hep find an answer (complex alarm system/ignition issue) and really listened to me, even though they did not know me and I did not buy my vehicle there. They did fix the problem, and after I picked up my vehicle I started looking at new vehicles on the lot, for fun. I ran into another super person, Nelson Cypher who is part of the sales team. Nelson was extremely knowledgeable and took time with me even though I had told him I was not yet ready to buy. He was sincerely enthusiastic about the vehicles and their features and very personable. I told him that when I was ready to buy I would come back out and see him....a week or so later and I did! He paid attention to my needs and what I wanted... not what he wanted me to buy. His extreme knowledge of the models and past models armed me with info to help me make choices. Always professional and courteous and even helping customers of other salespeople..I saw him as a genuinely helpful and caring person. Knowing this and knowing the quality of the service department, which is so important for the next 5 to 10 years, made my decision easy. I must add that all the time I was at the dealership I had other transactions; with the sales manager Don Harley, the finance manager Ed Miller, and a few other friendly salespeople that just took the time to smile and say hi. Outstanding customer service, knowledgeable and obviously happy people who really love the product. And I really feel that everyone went above and beyond to help me with a good price and financing that fit my budget. Much thanks to everyone at Dick Scott...and if you are reading this review you owe it to yourself to shop for your next car at Dick Scott Motormall....the other dealership lost out on a repair and a sale from that one call. Here is how the sale ended, this should give anyone reading this an idea on how everything else went. Mr. Ed Miller was very professional to my family and me during all of the purchasing paperwork; he even grab ANOTHER salesman to install my license plate for me. "Greg Harakas" As Greg was finishing installing the license plate I asked if he knew the key code he replied no but Joe Murphy should. Once Mr. Joe Murphy came out of the building to hand me the keys Greg asked Joe if he knew the code his response to Greg, me and my family was "I DON'T OWN THE CAR HE DOES LET HIM FIGURE IT OUT!". I believe Greg was surprised with Joe's comment that he even asked Joe if he was my salesmen (twice). Mr. Joe Murphy's reply was just a stare at Greg, me and my family and then he turned and walked away. Greg then took it upon himself to assist me in getting the code. To top everything else off the car was suppose to get a front end alignment which never happened and I had to stop on my way home to put gas in it so I would not run out.

It was time for me to get a new vehicle. I am a professional free-lance musician/ music producer and needed a vehicle I could rely on to get me to and from my many jobs around Michigan and across the midwest and east coast. The 2012 Ford Escape he picked out and I bought certified pre-owned is perfect; Clean, low miles, plenty of cargo space for all my gear, decent MPG, comfortable for long drives, modern audio/sync capabilities.. Joe Murphy was really helpful and nice - he listened to what I wanted and then picked a couple of cars and let me test drive all the cars. He never tried to push a car on me. After the test drive, we discussed what would be best for me. I already had fallen in love with the cherokee trailhawk and he went and presented a very good deal - so I bought the car . The dealership and Joe followed up with me the next day and everything was ready when I came and picked the car up. Great experience.

We were in town from VA visiting family. It was Saturday before Memorial Day and we were to head back to VA the next day. The check engine light in our '14 Grand Cherokee with the 3L diesel comes on. With a 650 mile drive ahead of us I was very concerned, Dick Scott Motor Mall was closest to me. On my first call the service adviser was on the other line so I left a call back number. Less the 5 minutes later Mr. Shelton called back. I explained the problem and was told to come in but at 2 hours before closing time before a holiday weekend there were no guarantees, which I totally understood. I showed up at the dealership about 50 minutes before closing. There just happened to be a "service bulletin" for the very reason the CEL came on in our Jeep and they were able to do a computer update on it while I waited! I had a great casual conversation with Mr. Malkasian from the sales team while I waited. The service technician Kevin was friendly and performed the update very quickly. I was definitely impressed with the overall effort to take care of my problem right before closing on a holiday weekend. The other dealership I called in a town just east of Howell had already closed their service center even though online it said they should still be open. Thanks to Mr. Shelton and the whole team at Dick Scott Motor Mall in Fowelrville! The trip home was uneventful and the CEL has stayed off! If I ever hav ethe chance to recommend the dealership I certainly will.

I purchased my 2012 Chrysler 200 here 2 years ago and have been nothing but impressed with the level of service I have received at Dick Scott Motor Mall. I have continued to go to Dick Scott for all my service and repair needs as well as body shop work. I was financed there and got a better rate than at any other bank or my credit union could offer me. Don Harley took the time to make sure I was in the right car for me, the sales staff was friendly and helpful with a lot of expert advise on what would be a good fit. The service shop has also been wonderful, the guys tell you what you need with out trying to oversell repairs. I am impressed with the body shop work that was done after I had an accident. They were quick and efficient. They also have a great rewards program that lets you accumulate points toward free oil changes and other discounts. They offer coupons and specials and are always trying to do what is best for the customer. I recommend this dealership to all my family and friends as well as my co-workers. He's also extremely helpful in interpreting our desires into realistic choices of a vehicle and options. For me (and many others, I think it's safe to say), going to the car dealership is usually about as pleasant as a root canal. Like politicians and open-mouthed gum chewers, high-pressure sales tactics rank high on my list of major irritants. I am a very informed and well-prepared consumer, knowledgeable about automobiles in general, and more than willing to negotiate aggressively. Also, I am intimately familiar with the usual tricks of the trade, various sales tactics and psychological ploys, and other shenanigans some of the less-scrupulous salespeople try to pull. I make these things very clear right up front, and request that the or she not play games. It's a sure way to make we walk out the door, but sad to say, it seems to be commonplace. It's no wonder car salesmen get a bad rap as smarmy hucksters.I am happy to say that my experience with Dick Scott Motor Mall was none of those things. Based on other Internet reviews, I contacted Sales Manager Don Harley and laid everything out (I was looking at a new Ram 1500). Don was exceptionally accommodating; despite the fact that I live over 30 miles from the dealership, he offered to have a vehicle brought to me to test drive if it was more convenient than going there. When I explained that I had a trade-in, he asked me to send pictures of the vehicle to give me a ballpark value estimate. The next day he emailed me back, and to my surprise, his offer was excellent. More surprisingly, he offered over $1500 dollars more for my trade-in than a local Lansing Ford dealership, and that was for trading in TWO vehicles (I am not making this up). I told him I'd be over within a few days to check things out.You know how it is to walk into a place and get that instant "vibe?" I don't know about you, but most car dealerships give me an instant uncomfortable, almost creepy feeling. Employees are quiet, even sullen. Not much humor and an air of unfriendliness ranging from apathy to mild disdain. Not so with Dick Scott Motor Mall. I was immediately impressed walking into the place. The atmosphere was upbeat and friendly. Employees were smiling and joking around. You can tell a lot about an organization's culture by sitting back and observing its personnel and how they interact with not only the customers, but each other. My impression throughout was that Dick Scott's employees actually like being there. Due to a scheduling conflict, Don wasn't able to meet with me personally, but he put me in touch with Nelson Cypher. Nelson was great. He was straightforward, honest, and completely transparent. He laid out all the numbers, broken down exactly as I wanted. No games, no "what do you want your payment to be?" or "I'll have to clear that with my sales manager" baloney. Nelson was also extremely knowledgeable about the Ram, which isn't something I can say about a lot of other salespeople. He took the time to go over buying and leasing options, explaining the pros and cons of each. Nelson knew that I knew what I was doing, but I get the impression that even the most naive, inexperienced car shopper would be treated with the same level of respect I received. Needless to say, a couple days later I drove off the lot with a nice Ram 1500 Big Horn (and yeah, it's got a Hemi). My entire experience was top-notch, maybe the best I've experienced in all my years of buying cars. If I had to choose one word to describe it, I would say "transparent." That's a real compliment in an industry where sneakiness and obfuscation seems to be the norm. I haven't had any service done yet, but if their service department is as good as their sales, I have little doubt it will achieve the same high standards. I recommend these folks without reservation and intend to do business with them in the future.

I was recently working a salesman in my area looking for a specific vehicle he was from the dealership Jim Riehls Chrysler Jeep in Warren MI ! He said he found the Jeep that I had wanted but was unable to get it transferred to the dealership as it had been sold. The Jeep was located at a dealership in Fowlerville MI. I was very disappointed and went to look on the internet to find out what dealership was in Fowlerville MI. It was Dick Scott Motor Mall. So then I went to the internet and checked their inventory and it said that the Jeep I wanted was still available! We then got the phone number and called the Dick Scott Dealership to inquire if the Jeep was in fact available to be purchased. We first spoke with Ashley and she said it was available, We asked if it was in the automatic and she said yes. We then told her the story of the other dealership and what had happened to us. She then told us she will call right back then we received a phone call from our now salesman Mitchell. He had asked what was going on we told him the story he said well things happen but the Jeep in question is available! We said we would be the next day to purchase it. He asked us to leave a deposit over the phone we could not do that at that time. We gave all of our info over the phone got approved financing within minutes then we did go the next morning to purchase the Jeep. The whole team at Dick Scott Motor Mall in Fowlerville are all just great. We had a few things done so could not take delivery the day we purchased it.They did everything we needed done the it was delivered to us the next day! It was about 80 miles one way! WE appreciate the opportunity to be able to do business with Dick Scott Motor Mall in Fowlerville MI. We really appreciate our Salesman Mitchell!

After many months of trying to decide on a vehicle, my husband and I went in to compare the 2 vehicles I was looking at. We didn't actually buy a vehicle the day we went in to compare. Mark was very friendly and respectful during the whole process. The next day I got back on their website and seen where they was getting in a black jeep grand cherokee, called Mark up and he asked us to come in. We went back to the dealership to talk numbers and have my vehicle appraised, well on our drive back to the dealership the transit truck had just dropped off a truck load of new vehicles. The black one I originally wanted was there he just needed to locate it. while he was looking for the black one, I found a white one that I fell in love with. So we went inside and started the paper work on the white one, was a really friendly and fast process. The sales guys in the office gave our son cupcakes, a slice of chocolate cake and even offered him coffee. lol, like I said very friendly place to buy from. After the process of buying the vehicle was over and they prepared my vehicle for me, Mark came out and showed me how to work all the neat gadgets that came with the vehicle. Being from out of state, Mark made the whole buying process easy for us. Before, I had dealerships not want to sell to me because I am from Louisiana. Was very glad to see that Mark was more then willing to help me get the vehicle that I truly wanted. I would buy from this dealership again!! Thank you Mark for all of your help!!

We found the car on line, called and spoke with Mark and made the long drive the next morning (Saturday) to see the car. The vehicle was everything we were looking for. Mark was friendly and efficient. We decided to purchase the vehicle and pick it up on Monday. As we worked with Ed to sign the finance papers, Mark was preparing to surprise us by having the car ready to take with us that afternoon. Marks extra efforts saved us time and money by not having to make the extra trip. My husband has been wanting that specific car for many, many years and now has his DREAM car! I just purchased a new Harley Davidson Night Rod special from Motorcity Harley and was very happy with the experience. JD whom I worked with let me know they were owned by Dick Scott automotive group, which also owned a Jeep dealership. I own a 2006 Jeep Commander Limited which I purchased new in 2007 and decided to take it to the Fowlerville dealership for service. The speedometer had stopped working and just about every dash light was on. When dropping the car off I brought up that we were also experiencing a known issue with the interior door handle where the cup around the handle had started deteriorating. I asked if they could repair the cup around the handle, or if we would need to replace the door. Rick said that he would look into that as well and let us know. He then started pulling on the interior handle rather aggressively to which I had to ask him to not do that. The handle did not break, but I was surprised with as much force as he was tugging with. The next day Rick called and spoke with my wife, he said we needed a new abs module and that the door could not be repaired and would have to be replaced, but it would cost more than we wanted to know. My wife told them to then just fix the abs module. Today my wife picked up the car and after leaving the dealership noticed the interior handle and surrounding cup were totally broken off into the door. My wife called and spoke to rick who told her the door was already broken and finished breaking. No explanation of why we were not notified of it being broken, and no apologies or explanation. The door is now not functional and she had to climb out of the passenger side to exit. In addition to the door being broken the issue with the dash was not fully repaired as the miles till empty is not displaying proper mileage. I ordered a new door from another dealership for $600 which i do not find exorbitant. If the handle did not break under the tugging I witnessed I do not know what they did to break it, but not being notified and the response we received is the worst service I have ever experienced. I drove 30 minutes to Fowlerville instead of 10 to Snethkamp, where I usually go, as I really was impressed with everyone I met at Motorcity Harley. I will not be going back.

Usually I do not take the time to write reviews, but in the case of buying a Dodge RAM from Dick Scott Dodge in Fowlerville, the experience was so good that I felt I should take the time.I started buy cby calling in asking about RAMs, and pricing. Jason on the phone did a great job of listenning to what typre of truck I was looking for and then came gave me a few options on what they had in stock, and assured me that they could bring one in if it did not meet my needs. Jason kept in contact with me VIA phone and email. Was not pushhey like most other dealer ships. Jason had Tom get in contact with me and I eventually went in on a Thursady to see what they had to offer. After narrowing down my needs, thaey allowed me to drive 3 Different RAMs, and could not decide between 2. So they also allowed me to take one home to show the Family. After discusions back and forth I finally settled and Tom struck a fantastic deal for me on the RAM of choice.Ed Miller took care of the paper work quickly, and I could have taken the truck that night, But needed a second driver. Tom offered to bring the RAM to my home next AM, and he did, along with spending a good hour going over all the features and options on the RAM.I deffinitly would highly recomend buying or leasing your next Vehicle from Dick Scott in Fowlerville MI.Russ, Howell Mi.

Emailed a wish to Dick Scott I thought could not ever happen. Poor Mark Bensinger was assigned my sale. I call him Poor Mark Bensinger because my needs were very tough to align and Mark stayed with it all the way. My husband was also looking at a Porsche Cayenne from their lot (all of this was researched on line prior). When we pulled in, we immediately saw the Porsche so we looked at that first. One of the first comments out of the mouths of one of the salesmen were "are you just getting information or do you really want to buy something?" That was a little off putting but he wasn't the man we would be dealing with so I didn't think much of it. Then comes Neal. Having previously worked at Porsche he seemed knowledgeable. We took the car for a ride but noticed that there was an exclamation mark lit up on the dashboard. We read the manual and it stated that something needed attention. When we got back to the dealership. Neal proceeded to tell us that the low tire light (which was also on) is on all the vehicles he has driven this winter. That also was odd as I live in the same state he does and none of my vehicles have that light come on unless there is a low tire. Which in and of itself is not a big deal, just an odd statement. Then we asked about the exclamation mark lit up and he said "nothings wrong with this car". I stood there and looked on the internet to see what this could mean. Every article I read said that it could be something minor or something serious but something definitely needed attention. He was insulting us by saying it was normal for this light to be lit on the dash information console. At that point, it was clear he was willing to say anything to get this car sold. This car is a 10 year old car so perfection is not expected, but it surely is common sense to understand that there is something that needs repaired on it. At that point, I wasn't even willing to look at the 2010 Cadillac SRX. Which in all honesty, was the one I was ready to purchase. I had brought my Yukon Denali in and was ready to make a deal and hopefully trade it in. I'm sure these things wouldn't have been an issue if we were purchasing a brand new car. Regardless, they lost 1 sale, possibly 2 and would not recommend them to anyone that I know that is looking for a car. Thankfully, Capital Cadillac is not that far away from there!

Nightmare!!! PLEASE LISTEN BEFORE EVEN THINKING OF SHOPPING HERE!!! The original salesguy Mark was great. Test drove a used car I liked. That was where fun ended. Put in info for financing and although income was very high we had no credit. NOT BAD CREDIT JUST LACK THERE OF. Half the reason for buying on credit was to build our credit. We never heard back and when we checked our salesguy had account pulled from him and had been admonished for letting us test drive at all. Dealt with "special finance" guy Jeff who was quite rude and had financed us for yuckiest old minivan on lot(obviously what they wanted to get rid of) even though we came in looking for suv and had never spoken to him. Turned it down and even though i spent two weeks searching through their inventory myself there was always something wrong with every vehicle on their end, didnt fit loan, didnt pass inspection.... etc. They called with one more vehicle but by morning was gone. Interest rate offered 23.99%, i repeat, had no bad credit just lack of credit history from paying cash. We are around 40 with our own successful established business. Left it that they would contact us if ever they could find a vehicle to match loan parameters of under $10,000 to be financed after down and trade in, under 100,000 miles, payment approved up to over $1,000 a month because we had great income. Got them down to 17.99% with trade in and up to $2000 down. Waited weeks never heard back. Approved for loan but no vehicle to be found. Finally got sick of it and went to Lafontaine where they had me in vehicle i loved in two days for better terms. Then I get letter from dick scott saying sorry i was never really approved for loan, that they had never run credit, which was blatant lie, because we had clearly discussed our reports and non score and had been offered vehicle. Honestly the worst of it was how we were treated. We went there because family member was employee and if we were treated like pond scum can only imagine how they treat people with less to spend or bad credit. JUST DONT DO IT. They were rude in manner, didnt answer or return calls or emails and never found us a car. Didnt need our business.GO ANYWHERE ELSE, especially if credit less than perfect, no one should be treated that way.

I went in to this dealership to purchase an automatic jeep wrangler, yet i was very curious on a manual. My salesman Greg Harakas was not pushy or aggressive. He suggested i at least test drive a manual. So we drove, and he went over the basics. Then i got in, and took all his advice. I loved the Manual. My salesman taught me how to drive it in 15minutes. The manual was cheaper also, so he saved me money. I highly recommended everyone to go to Dick Scott Motor Mall in Fowlerville, and have the same experience as i did with Greg Harakas.

The car buying/leasing experience was truly painless at DS Motor Mall. My salesman, Tom Harwood, did an excellent job in understand my wants and needs in this new car. Working with Tom was easy and pleasant. The finance person at DS was less of a pleasure to deal with, not that she did anything wrong, but she didn't seem to understand the deal or certain aspects that Tom and I had come to terms with, although once Tom stepped in things were straightened around quickly. The only complaint I have is on the prep of the vehicle for delivery to me, smudges on the windows, spots on the leather seats and less than a perfectly clean and shiny exterior. I had it detailed the next day at added expense to me.

I was looking to trade in a 2010 Wrangler for a new Rubicon. I went by Dick Scott on Saturday around 11:00am. Joe Murphy met me when I came in and was very helpful. He showed me the Rubicons on the lot and encouraged a test drive even though I already was a Jeep owner. I was glad I did. It really made me happy I was upgrading! I got a fair deal on my trade in and an interest rate neither my bank or insurance company could beat. I was happy with my previous Jeep dealer, but I have to say my experience at Dick Scott Motor Mall was outstanding. Joe even called me on Monday to see if I needed anything and make sure I was happy with my new Jeep. Good service is hard to find and this dealership didn't disappoint me.

I have been a Dick Scott customer since 1996. At that time, I lived in Canton, Michigan and visited your dealership i Plymouth where I also met Mr. Scott. I was employed by a great friend of Mr. Scott, thus a long pleasent dealer/customer relationship began. Our 2000 Intrepid used to e Jud Scott's. Since 2000 it has been my wife's vehicle. Great car, 143,000+ miles and still gets 30mpg on the highway. I was getting the Intrepid serviced when I stopped to speak with jason Hilts about a sales event I received in the mail. His knowledge of the vehicles relulted in my buying a 2013 Ram 1500. So far, this appears to be a fine truck.

Went to Dick Scott to look at a used vehicle they had listed on their website. Upon arrival, the vehicle would not start - and when they did get it started was not running right. Service looked at the vehicle and ultimately decided they would NOT sell the vehicle. I then worked with sales person and finance (I have some credit problems)and they were able to get me financed for a vehicle I am very happy with. Used prices seem to be in-line with other dealers. Throughout the entire process the staff was very friendly and there was no high-pressure sales techniques enployed. Very satisfied with our experience and will return for our next vehicle.

I called Dick Scott Motor Mall because it's close to my home and I had seen advertisements on TV for leases available; the Dodge Journey and the Jeep Grand Cherokee. I also went there because the salesperson I had dealt with at Todd Wenzel Chevrolet who I had done business with for the past two leases I had, just seemed to be unresponsive. (After three phone calls, I finally reached him and he was to return my call the next day with information about the vehicle I was interested in - I'm still waiting!) I spoke with Shannon a couple of times and she was very pleasant. I went to the dealership on a Friday and was introduced to Joe Murphy. He could not have been more helpful and informative. He took me on a test drive in the Grand Cherokee which I loved. He did also show me the Dodge Journey, but my mind was already made up for the Jeep. He showed me all the features the vehicle had which I wasn't familiar with and really took his time. Answered any and all questions I had. I picked up the vehicle the next day and absolutely love it. My 2007 Nitro needed a new gas tank and my husband and I planned to drop off the Nitro on a Friday evening for a Saturday repair. My husband on that same Friday was reared ended and his car required body work. My husband and I were tired and frazzled on a Friday night. Scot was so kind that he stayed 20 minutes after closing to check in both our cars and give us a loaner car. It was an immense help to us as we did not know what we were going to drive or do for transportation. He could of told us he was closed, but he went that extra mile. This is for informational purposes only - no resolution requested or requiredOn the afternoon of April 24, 2012 I negotiated a sale with Tom at Dick Scot Motor Mall for a used 2007 Jeep Commander. Once the sales price and trade in value were negotiated a final price of $16,100 was agreed to by both parties, in writing. While the handwritten "worksheet" was in no way implied to be legally binding, it was still a verbal agreement between a buyer and seller.While signing all the paperwork, once we reviewed the financing agreement, I noted that the price for my trade in was $500 less than what was agreed to, raising the final price to $16,600. I pointed this out to the employee that was performing the closing, who in turn called in the salesman Tom. Tom pulled out the worksheet which clearly stated $16,100 as the bottom line price, but claimed someone else (manager?) said he couldn't do the agreed to price. AT NO TIME prior to reviewing the financing agreement was this communicated to me. Had I not been dilagent in reviewing the document, I would have never known of the $500 increase. Tom said he had another buyer lined up and refused to honor the $16,100 price. I immediately ceased the transaction and left. My concern is this is a very suspect action that could very easily not be caught by an average buyer considering the relatively small dollar amount and the vast volume of papers that are signed at a vehicle closing and the amount of numbers and fees that could (and do) confuse many buyers. This practice is borderline fraud at worst and shady business practice at best. To anyone considering doing business with Dick Scott Motor Mall, caveat emptor, carefully and closely review your closing documents to ensure that the deal you sign is the deal you negotiated. The sad part is, that I most likely would have agreed to the higher price had Tom been upfront, honest, and forthright with everything. Now they have lost a repeat customer for life

We had stopped at one other dealership before stopping here, and they never even came out to see if they could help us. We stopped here and were left alone for a little while before being asked if we could be helped by one of the sales persons. They were already with customers so he set us up with Joe. Joe helped us pick which car we wanted, allowed us to test drive multiple cars and then worked with us on building the deal. He gave us a good value for our trade in and even offered to help us remove the smoke smell from our other car. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful!!! This is the first time I have purchased from this dealership but it will not be the last.

My husband and I stopped into Dick Scott just to look on Tuesday, on Wednesday I drove away with my new Jeep Liberty! Tom Harwood greeted us and took great care of us from start to finish. This Jeep is the first car we've bought in 14 years and our first new car ever! It was a really exciting event for us, made even better by the great service and wonderful personality of Tom. We couldn't be happier!

Our 1st disappointment came when we were to drive our car home and were informed by the salesman (Neil Weaver) that there was only one key & key fob. We were not told this before signing the papers, convenient for him. The car had been at this dealership at least a month--plenty of time to get a replacement. Really, that is like buying a car with 3 tires instead of 4!! We let it pass for several reasons--being late in the day was one, but primarily because we were getting 12 months of free Serius XM radio. My husband called to activate the radio the next day (Thursday) and was told there was only a 3 month introduction period. I called Mr. Weaver and he said it probably took longer to get through the system than just overnight. I called Serius Friday--no one knew anything about 12 months free--only the 3 months. Called Mr. Weaver again--he said it takes "48 to 72 hours" to be activated. Now, on both of these occasions I mentioned the descrepancy between the 12 and 3 months. Sooo, I waited until the next Wednesday to call Serius again--still no 12 months. I called Mr. Weaver again, telling him Serius had no info about the 12 months and gave him a phone number he needed to call to get it activated. He promised to do so and called me back, proudly telling me the " 3 months" introduction period was in order. When I reminded him we had been promised 12 months, he denied that, saying I must have "misunderstood". Well, I might not be the actual queen of the penny-pinchers, but I do not misunderstand something like that. Plus, my husband heard the same thing--several times. Had we known of these things we would have negotiated a better price or kept shopping at other dealers. The worst thing?? We have a dealership with a shoddy reputation 2 miles from our home we could have gone to and been prepared to deal with deception. I don't know if this sort of thing is standard practice for ;your sales team or if Mr. Weaver is an exception.Yvonne Elsea

The customer service was Superior. He quoted us numbers over the phone for both the trade in and new vehicle and was true to his word. There was never any hassle or pressure.It was the best new car purchase experience I have ever had. Don made us feel at home and his staff did too. I have NEVER been to a dealership and had such a spectacular experience!! I live almost 2 hours away from this dealership but after just 2 or 3 conversations on the phone with Jeff Ruth, I pretty much made the deal I was looking for and decided to go pick up my new car! Everything went so smooth, and upon our arrival, everything was prepared. There was no waiting, no hang-ups..NOTHING!! it was awesome. We were treated so well, and in fact we had our 2 year old daughter with us and she was easily entertained by the "kiddie corner". Decked out with toys, books and a small table, again, never had that before. My overall experiance with Dick Scott Motor Mall and Jeff Ruth was the best I have ever had. I am accustomed to doing as much of the work on my vehicles as I can and with this vehicle I started out using the dealer for oil changes(very reasonable price)and three years later I still use them. The staff is friendly and recognize me when I come in, we have conversations about things you would talk to friends about. Scot and Roy have been very attentive to my needs and concerns and have taken care of these in a timely manner. I would recommend this dealership to anyone interested in their services from purchasing new vehicles to having service or body work done.

Jeff Ruth was the salesman that I had the bad luck of getting when I purchased my new minivan. He did not know his vehicle and what options came in what convenience packages. He showed me a list of options and told me the one I wanted was included on the vehicle I bought. When my wife came in to learn about using the features of the vehicle he did not know what some of them did. On top of that he was very rude and tried to blame the issue on me because I did not notice the option was missing when I looked at a similar van. Beware if Jeff is your salesman, know the vehicle you are buying and make sure you know what packages the features you want are included in, because Jeff Ruth will not know.

I was not satisfied with the price, I purchased this vehicle used with a 2 year, 27,000 mile warranty. The day I purchased it, drove it home, noticed a few things wrong with it, called right away and talked with my salesman Jeff Ruth about this. Unfortunately my intermediate shaft which is part of the (drive train which is covered under my warranty) was not a covered part under that warranty. I'm sorry but that should have been covered by the dealership instead of just charging me a lower price for the parts and service. I hope nothing else goes wrong with my vehicle that isn't covered under my warranty. A best friend of mine works for dealership in the Lansing area who was completely upset with the fact that you would cover the cost of this. It may not have been a "safety issue", however, the loose steering wheel and clicking in the steering wheel and rattling is now gone. JESSE was great, very sweet, informative and quick about getting back with me. Thank you Jesse!

I had my minivan serviced for oil change and tire rotation. The quality of my minivan is awesome, so I typically only use the service department for maintenance type work. Each time I visit Dick Scott Motor Mall, Fowlerville, MI is a pleasant experience. The counter person is always friendly, smiling, and asks pertinent questions about the service requested and reminds me of other service/products that might be needed. They also point out service specials that might be going on at the time of my appointment. The work is always great - the mechanics take the proper precautions inside my van too, so as not to stain the carpet or seats. The work in done in a timely fashion and I really appreciate that. Also, if a salesperson happens to be in the vicinity of service, they always ask me how I am liking my minivan, am I satisfied, etc. Even if they are not the person who actually sold me the van. Visiting Dick Scott Motor Mall in Fowlerville, MI is like visiting family (the family members that you actually like)!!

I have always hated the car buying process. But at Dick Scott's Motor Mall, along with our saleman Joe Murphy, the experience was uncharacteristically pleasant. My wife and I were able to for the first time, focus on the features of the vehicle we were interested in buying (Jeep Grand Cherokee) instead of feeling pressured to buy, financing arrangements, dealer add ons, etc. The price and discounts offered were given right up front so we did not have to spend hours haggling over a few hundred dollars. The pricing offered and the actual transaction purchase was done in a fair, honest and very responsive manner. I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone interested in Chrysler products, along with Joe Murphy as the salesman.

Dealership is great. However, we are very disappointed in this 2010 Journey. I uses oil, about 1/2 to 1 quart every 3,000 miles. I wish we would of leased this vehicle instead of buying. We are hoping that Chrysler will do something about this.

Three days prior to leaving on a trip with my wife to Missouri,I noticed my Chrysler 300 was low on anti-freeze from my temperature guage rising. I added the needed mix and the following morning arrived early to the service department to see why it had been so low. I met the service manager Scot Butash, told him my problem and he quickly assessed that my radiator had a small leak at the bottom. After hearing our travel plans, Scott had a 21 point inspection done also and found some other problems I was not aware of. He assured me that we would still be able to leave on time with all they had to do.I was very happy with Scot as he helped greatly with my warranty coverage, very pleased with the promptness and the quality of the work that was done by all the mechanics involved. I will certainly continue to return with any future work that needs to be done. Thanks to all involved.

We were driving a '09 Ford Escape and it had not been a good vehicle for us, and we were ready to get out of it. We took it back to the Ford Dealership where it was purchased, and they were not interested in working with us to get us out of this vehicle and into a new Ford in the price range we had hoped to stay within. We had bought other cars from Dick Scott Motor Mall in the past and we gave them a shot. We were greeted immediately, by their friendly staff. We test drove several vehicles. They were very willing to work with us--gave us a great deal on our trade in, and got us into a beautifully loaded new Journey for less per month than we could have gotten in a similar Ford vehicle. They made us feel like they really wanted and appreciated our business, and that we weren't just another customer. We were so pleased with them that we went back a week later to buy a reliable used car for our 16-year old son.

My husband and I have both traded in our previous cars for a new used one within the past six months. We both had the pleasure of having Joe Murphy as our sales rep. My husband traded in his Mustang for a Jeep Wrangler. Joe gave him a great deal on his trade in value. Although they didn't have what my husband was looking for the first time he was in, Joe took the time to keep looking and called my husband a couple weeks later with exactly what he was looking for. As for me, I traded my Stratus in for a Dodge Avenger. Joe was great to work with. He knew exactly what I was looking for and gave me many options that were within my price range. He was able to get me $3000 for my trade in value, which was $500 over the originally offer, to keep my monthly payment where I was comfortable at. Joe went with me to test drive a couple different models and never made me feel pressured or like I was wasting his time. He took the time to go over some of the features on the Avenger that I had selected and even searched a warranty report at my request. Joe also made sure I had a full tank a gas with my new purchase. He worked with the financial department to make sure I got the lowest APR on my loan that I could and was always in contact with me throughout the whole purchase. Since my purchase, Joe has called to see how everything is going and how well I like the car. Everything is great and Joe was wonderful! Thank you for everything you've done!

Hardly any haggling over the final price, and I think we both felt a fair deal was had. He even pointed us to the local best restaurant in town while paperwork was being completed. My only comment would be on number of emails and phone calls regarding your next scheduled service appointment. One or two emails should be sufficient but include the sevice that is being provided. The same would be for a phone call to include the service. Identifying the service would make it more personal and less generic.
