Drove a car, and made a reasonable offer. My sales guy disappeared or was fired soon after. Subsequent “Internet” sales guy hostile when challenged on “but but our variable costs” nonsense. Sales manager then admitted the initial usuriously high random price was “a mistake”, and still quoted me a price $3K higher than my reasonable offer. When I provided details of my intention to finance some or all of the transaction, thus increasing their profit on the sale, received a misdirected email stating that I “am going to be an issue” for them because I stated that I don’t want to deal with their inexperienced, rude, and dishonest sales staff. This dealership is to be avoided unless you want hard sell deception and manipulation.

I've never taken the time to write a review before but this one needs writing. All of the qualifying/finance portion of my purchase was done online, with the help of Krysta Hanson and Dennis Totten. I didn't need to spend the day at the dealership! I went in, test drove the car I had found online (I'd already done the research on it - it was exactly what I'd been searching for), signed the papers and was out of there! I should mention that, due to recent health/financial events, I was probably one of their most difficult customers to get financed. Dennis had spent a couple hours (before I had even come into the dealership) finding a lending institution that would finance me, and he even called in a favor to get it done. Krysta kept us informed by phone of the progress Dennis was making in getting us financed, so we knew the entire time where we were in the process. While we test drove the car, Krysta put up with my "assertive" driving skills, and made us laugh all the while. And while we were there to sign the papers, Krysta and Dennis entertained us with their humorous banter, keeping us in stitches!Our car buying experience was better than I could've ever imagined. There was no day-after-buyer's-remorse either. I knew we could not have received a better deal anywhere else. Obviously, I can't recommend Krysta and Dennis highly enough. Five stars all the way. See them and you won't be sorry. ~KLewis

My husband and I went to Dick's Hillsboro Hyundai. It was our first time shopping for a used car. Everyone at the dealership was nice, friendly, upbeat and eager to help. ONLY issue was the finance company. I got approved but after a week of having the vehicle the finance company required I return the vehicle after my chapter 7 has been discharged. Worst experience ever dealing with the finance company.. Overall the people at the dealership were nice.

I stopped by Dick's Hillsboro Hyundai to take a test drive in 2016 Veloster. Derick Watson was the sales rep working with me and he was very helpful in showing me the inventory, exterior and interior color options, packages, etc. He talked a lot about features of the car during the test drive and pointed out a few things I missed. Back at the dealership he worked with financing managers to find out what my options were and was able to find several discounts that I didn't know I was eligible for. I had a hard time getting any correct info about buying while in a bankruptcy, to the point that I gave up. Then I got a letter from duck's auto and decided ton give them a shoot, I'm glad I did, Michale and Dennis were so helpful, that I wish they had a dealership in idaho, but it is woth the flight to Portland for the preace of mind that I KNOW that I'm going to be taken care of. My experience all started with a call from the saleswoman Jessica returning my call about a vehicle request. When purchasing my 2000 Honda Civic it had exhaust issues with excessive noise. The car was fixed and passed emissions but there was still a rattling roar from the exhaust. The dealership said they would have it fixed at no cost and gave me a loaner to drive. All the way Jess stayed on top of the process and ensured my car was returned to me quickly and fixed correctly. This is the reason I will go back to purchase a new car when I am ready.

I bought my car from this dealer (not Dick's then) in 2010 along with a great deal - or so I thought' - of 20 oil changes: one every 3 months for 5 years. My problems since then have been multitudinous. The following is only a sample.Their service managers claimed services that were not performed.. Example: my tire blew out two days after an oil change, which came with free tire rotation. When the tire repair service asked if I wanted my tires rotated I explained it had just been done. He corrected me: said the tires were LONG OVERDUE for rotation.I had 15 and 30,000 mile maintenance done on the car. Each time they charged me $32 for the oil change despite the fact that I pointed out those oil changes were already paid for. When I insisted they reverse the charge, I had to wait 1/2 hour for the corrected bill.When I complained about this incident, the service guy whined I might cause him to be fired.I was quoted $120 for changing the running lights. Three of them took me 15 minutes and about $15. The fourth, more difficult, I negotiated a $6 charge because they did it when they already had the wheel off.I was given a 45,000 mile maintenance estimate of about $500, including work on the timing chain. M y new mechanic says that that is normally not required until 80-100,000 miles. He went through the car for $26 (oil change).I am skeptical that this review is as unique as the ratings would imply. If you use this place, you might want a back-up mechanic to make sure things are done and a bankruptcy attorney for future reference.

This morning I had to take my car in to have the splash guard fixed. I thought I would have to leave it and rent a car. To my surprise, they immediately took my car right in and fixed it within 30 minutes. When I went to pay Mike, he said there was no charge. Happy as a bug I went out to my car only to find it sparkling clean!!! They washed it for me. Talk about GREAT service. I will never go anywhere else. I purchased a 2016 from Dick Hillsboro Hyundai on 2/6/16. There was a misunderstanding regarding the price but they honored the original price I saw on their site. I have not had a pleasant experience with buying a car until now. The staff was extremely pleasant, the business was immaculate and the dealer got me in and out in record time. Andrew Van Pelt (sales consultant) spent time in the vehicle with me going over all the amenities. Craig Ward (sales associate) was very personable and entertaining. I have never laughed quite as much during my time there. The paperwork was done in a short time and they had my satisfaction at heart. The car is wonderful and when it is time to purchase another I will be on their doorstep when they open up.

My family and I went in right before Christmas to buy a used van. After much haggling on a price, they promised that the vehicle had been gone through thoroughly and that everything worked perfectly. The salesman, Christopher, told us that $3500 had been put into the vehicle to make sure that all of the "bells and whistles" we working. 2 days after we bought the van, it left my young daughter and I stranded on the side of the road feeling very scared. Once the vehicle was towed to the dealership, we were offered a car with much less space that did not accommodate my family's needs, especially during Christmastime. After the dealership kept our newly bought vehicle for several days with no communication to us about what was going on, I called. They indicated that they would need more time. After finally getting the van back, we quickly discovered that the air conditioning didn't work. I called the dealership and spoke with Steve and he was more than rude to me. I have never spent so much money at a place (we paid cash) to be treated so horribly! I would NOT RECOMMEND Dicks.

I will buy every single car for the rest of my life from Dicks, this was hands down the best experience I could of had buying my first car. I went here with no credit, I did not expect to drive off the lot with a Nissan Murano. I told them that I was there to build credit and get a reliable car that would get me up and down the mountain. I was able to put a $1500 down payment and get a dream car. Just think you could do the same because with a credit score of zero I was surprised they didn't send me off the lot with a Pacer, Pinto or a Gremlin. I got something so much better I got a beautiful Midnight Pearl Blue Suv with heated seats...now my bum will be warm driving off the hill.Thank you Michael P. for the amazing work you did with the banks, and thank you Gayleen for being my sales lady and hanging out with me for 7 hours, and last but not least thank you to Craig the assistant manager for convincing me that he would get me into the car I wanted. In the process of re-establishing our credit and Michael Phillips and Dennis Totten from the financing department went above and beyond the call by first, getting us approved and second, finding us a car that fit our budget and our needs. We drove over 3 hours from Central Oregon and within 3 hours were driving home in our new car. And it would have been sooner had we sent them the required paperwork ahead of time! Most of the crew stayed open for us to complete the purchase during their Christmas party, for that I am grateful.We purchased a 2003 saturn got it home and the check engine lights came on, its old it happens, we called and they were very promput in getting us in and making things right.We left with a 2013 jeep patriot (5 speed manual no less ) and warranty. Our financing agent was very nice as well and didn't make it seem like we were signing our life away. Everything was explained in detail.Overall an amazing bunch of people, we also met the owner and he was very friendly and wanted to make sure the situation was taken care of.Will be back for another vehicle when the time comes.

Im an uber/lyft driver. I was looking at Hyundai vehicles because of their warranties. Found a 2012 Genesis with 35k miles. Excellent condition. The owner was meticulous with the services and he always took it to Dick's Hillsboro Hyundai. I called to schedule a test drive with Jessica. We met up at the appintment time. No waiting around. Straight to the point. And very polite. No mumbo jumbo with most typical dealers. Loved the car after I test drove it. I said let's work a deal. Honestly I didn't have that great of credit. I set my terms to buy the car or I would have to wait a few months. She and the fni manager talked wth huyndai motor finance and hit me a better deal than I asked for. I was in awe. No going back and forth on price, payments etc. And they gave me a steal on the car. I am so thankful for their help in this purchase. And I absolutley will recommend to friends and family.

They lied about the price of the car and tacked on an extra 2000 dollars behind our back. They also charged us an extra 8000 dollars at the end that no one told us about. They were only out for a sale. Didn't even care. The guy who sold the car wasn't even a salesman and was on his phone most of the time. Should of gone to Ron Tonkin. Lesson learned.

I went in to Dick's because they mailed us a raffle ticket. I would have won a $5 Target gift card if they hadn't run out of them. I told the salesman I was looking for a car under $8,000 to replace the one that recently got totaled. Since they didn't currently have anything at that price point, he pushed me to consider $12,000 cars, even after I said no. After a few minutes, I said (again), "No, thank you." and ranran as fast as I could away. Unfortunately, I wasn't there long enough to remember his name.

I started the whole process over the phone with Jessica to get most of it out of the way before I drove from Vancouver. She was told that everything was good and that I needed to come in. I got there and test drove a new car, loved it and started the negotiating. Jessica was my biggest advocate to the sales manager that was in at the time. With the manager unwilling to budge, I left without a new vehicle. Went to this dealership to compare price for similar car with another Hyundai dealer. Made it clear we would buy if they met our price. Negotiating was pleasant with no games - just straightforward back and forth until we agreed on a price. We knew the other dealer was too high for the identical car - except other car was a 2015 certified car with 3900 miles. Dick's Hillsboro Hyundai price for a new car was about $1200 better than the other dealer.

Ashley Munoz was great during the lead up to my purchase, but afterwards I had e mailed her and a co worker in the Internet sales department, and still have not had a reply and it has been two weeks! Renee was great to deal with not pushy at all, the service department is great and has repaired the "we owe" service of my new to me car. They also somehow "lost" the floor mats between Sunday when I bought the car and Monday when I picked it up. Would I recommend them, yes, but if you don't expect too much, then you won't be disappointed.

I do not think I should have to ask to go over the numbers before I sign the papersMy 2015 Veloster did not come with the blue link mirror installed. asked the service dept. if I could get the blue link mirror installed. the service guy said anything can be installed for a price. I called Beaverton Hyundai they gave me a price for the blue link mirror and price for installation. I would think that a Hillsboro Hyundai dealership should know what they are doing. what I do not understand is why would you have a brochure for bluelink. there is s decal on the window of the car with a bluelink phone number and web site, however blue link was not installed in the car.

Came in to see a Certified used Elantra for sale, Roberto the salesman was very kind and accomodating. They were very patient with us as we took a couple of days to make a decision. We requested some minor repairs on the used vehicle before purchasing it and it was done the next day! We were also offered another vehicle at that time at a reduced price, no haggling. I brought the vehicle in to have the tires rotated a month after purchasing it and they did it for free since it was so close to the purchase time. Came here today to buy a 2008 Acura RDX I saw online. The scam that unfolded before my eyes was pretty sad:Step 1)They pretend they don't know where the car is, because someone was "about to buy it". Step 2) They "discover" that the car is still available, but at a sister dealership "6 minutes" down the road (really 15+)Step 3)They drive you to this other dealership (now you can't leave) and continue to waste your time.Step 4) They assume now that they have wasted 3+ hours of your time, and you are trapped at a foreign dealership, surely you will buy their car.Don't waste your time with these jokers. I have seen this con unfold twice approx. 18 months apart at this dealership. This isn't how the car buying experience is supposed to work in 2015.Go somewhere that is honest - who has time for theatrics?

I am located in California and like everything else here cars are ridiculously overpriced compared to those selling across state lines. I narrowed my search down to a few out of state EX35's , one being at DIck's Hillsboro. Marco was honest, direct, and was very quick to address any questions or concerns I had regarding the vehicle. After the car passed the pre-purchase inspection with flying colors, I decided to pull the trigger on the car. The car was pretty well priced as it was and they were even able to give me a better deal to top it off. For being out of state, I can't imagine a smoother process. I would highly recommend these guys for your next vehicle purchase, especially Marco if you have the luxury. Thanks Marco and the Hyundai team for a great experience and I would not hesitate to do it all over again.

Love these honest ppl! Everyone is friendly and NOT pushy. Cust svc is their goal and it's noticeable and appreciated. Svc shop completes oil changes on ALL vehicles NOT only Hyundai. . Washes and cleans inside too at an amazing price, far better than jiffy.. I went here on February 23rd to purchase a 2005 Dodge Power Wagon for my husband. I checked the vehicle out (to the best of my ability) and set up the final purchase to be made my husband, who due to his work schedule was going to have to come in at a later time and make the final approval, and also sign his part of the loan docs. My husband went to complete the deal on February 26th 2015, discovered that the 4 wheel drive was out, and requested that they have that fixed before we took the truck off the lot. The dealership agreed, had him sign the loan papers AND TOOK OUR $3,000 DOWN PAYMENT. We have waited PATIENTLY for WEEKS while the dealership tried to locate the part to fix the 4 wheel drive. Weve never harassed them, and have never been rude or inconsiderate to them in the slightest. In fact, we have acted as model customers, we understand completely that due to inclement weather back east the part is just difficult to get right now. NOW, after almost SIX WEEKS, the sales manager calls my husband and tells him that he is done following up with us, when the vehicle is fixed they will put it back up for sale and if you still want it you can have first crack at it. NOW I look online and I see the truck on multiple websites listed for sale, BUT for $1,000 more than the price it was supposed to go to us for AND they still have our $3,000!!!! I just have 2 questions:#1 When do you intend on refunding my 3k?#2 I can see from the many positive reviews that NORMALLY you seem to care about your reputation, how in the world is 1 thousand measly dollars, worth the potential damage to your reputation that can be caused by this situation????

I had a wonderful experience buying from Hillsboro Hyundai.The team there, Janiff, Gary and Alex, were ALL so helpful in finding my husband and I a brand new family car and upgrading us from our previous 2 door car (which was impossible to get the baby in and out of!). They even detailed the car for us, went and filled it up with gas before we took it off the lot. I've only ever purchased a car one other time in my life and it was a used one - purchasing the brand new Hyundai Elantra was an amazing experience for my husband and I. You always hear horror stories about people getting ripped off or scammed from car dealerships. That would NEVER happen at Hillsboro Hyundai. All of the sales reps we worked with were family oriented and treated my husband and I as if we were family. I couldn't be happier with our experience and will highly recommend them to anyone looking for a decent, honest place to purchase a new, reliable car.

We told them what we needed, what kind of financing we needed and what we would need for a payment. There was no haggling, no pressure. We got what we wanted and it was easy. I have never liked buying cars because of the pressure and haggling. My husband and I went into Hillsboro Hyundai without any expectations of going home with a new car. We originally went in to upgrade and trade in my husband's 2 door Mustang for a 4 door family car, having just had a baby last July. We had our sights set on a Prius, but when I saw the Hyundai Elantra on the showroom floor, I was much more intrigued. The Elantra was much better suited to our needs in terms of space and roominess/comfort, and gets great gas mileage which was a big reason we wanted a Prius. Janiff helped us out initially, and Alex and Gary stepped in to make the buying process even smoother for us - while Janiff helped us with our credit application, Alex did a full appraisal on our Mustang. The entire staff stayed well past their closing time to assist us with our purchase. My husband and I don't have good credit (we are working on that), so we were ecstatic when they found a decent interest rate and a bank willing to lend to us. Every person we interacted with at Hillsboro Hyundai was helpful (without being pushy) and took the time to answer our questions, even if it meant they got home late (on a Friday night no less!) I really can't say enough good things about Hillsboro Hyundai - thank you to everyone who made our lives so much simpler by upgrading us to a family car. Our new Hyundai saves us money on gas, increases our ability to travel to Seattle to see family, and makes getting the baby in and out of the car that much easier. Not to mention having a new car payment will IMPROVE our credit rating which we desperately need. We can't thank you enough, Hillsboro Hyundai!!!!!

Met Gary Ransier on the lot . I wanted to drive the Sonata Hybrid Ltd and did. Wanted a sportier hatchback and luckily the loaded Elantra GTs were on sale for a great price. I wasn't sure about color so Gary walked the lot to find all the colors with the full tech and style pkg.. Mike DeSantis, GSM, made the deal happen and Brandon sped me through finance. Jhered Roysdon set up my BlueLink and Humberto detailed and gassed up my new Elantra GT. Set out to lease a new Lexus today and ended up buying a Hyundai with all the features I wanted. We had already done our homework and knew we wanted a Hyundai - either a Santa Fe or a Tuscon. Prices were competitive among several local dealerships. We chose to go to Dick's because they are locally owned and appreciate the ways they support the community. Our salesperson was Clint Gorbett. The sales communication with Clint was clear, concise and we were offered the opportunity to bring the car home so that we could confirm whether it would fit in the garage. The car was prepped and cleaned. All items were explained and the gas tank was completely filled when we left the lot that day. The sales transaction itself was extremely efficient thanks to both Clint and Bill in Finance and the follow up has been wonderful. Easiest experience buying a car that we ever had! We have already recommended Dick's to family members.

I stopped in after work to look at a car I'd seen online. Turned out it was the wrong dealership. I looked at several vehicles with a couple of different ideas in mind. I ended up buying a Veloster, which was not even on my radar as an option; having heard little about them before. The staff was very courteous and went out of their way to explore options with me. I had to come back the next day to complete the deal because it was so late the night before, but I drove home in a brand new car, and I couldn't be happier. My husband and I had gone in for an oil change on our 2012 Sonata after returning home from a lengthy vacation trip. I decided to browse around the sales floor and look at the display models as I had seen a couple of commercials about the Genesis and its "360 degree sensurround." Kate met and greeted me and we got to talking about our Sonata and the vacation trip. When I told her about a couple of features I wish our Sonata had, she immediately told me about the Azera and that she had a couple of very gently used trade-ins if we'd like to take a test drive. I went and grabbed the hubby and he took us for a spin. Well, the car was so wonderful we brought it home the same day! A lot of that had to do with Kate. She is so knowledgeable about the vehicles and she "dots her i's and crosses all her t's" when it comes to customer service. We could not have asked for a better experience and in fact it was far better even than we had when we bought the Sonata 2 years ago. We love the Azera, love the Hyundai brand and give this dealership and saleswoman our highest praise and recommendation!

This is the first time I have ever bought a car from a lot. After 41 years of marriage and many older, used cars later, it was time to upgrade to a newer car with less miles. My husband has always been able to fix all our cars himself but is finally tired of it and he's glad he doesn't have to (and can't) fix this one! Kate was very friendly. She and my mom got along very well and since Mom was buying the car for me since she found out she couldn't drive anymore, that was important that she felt respected, which she was. I didn't expect this process to go so smoothly but it did. We bought the extended warranty and it has given me peace of mind. This is the FIRST time in my life that I actually enjoy driving. I purchased a 2010 VW Jetta from this dealership and get sales flyers every once in a while in the mail. I really wasn't thinking about getting a new car but the flyer looked really good and I thought what the heck. I purchased my 2nd vehicle (Hyundai Accent) at Dick's Hillsboro Hyundai. My first vehicle was great, the salesman Richard Miller was amazing! I thought i would be rejected by a big "intimidating" dealer to purchase a car because my credit wasn't all that great. After a short time i walked out the door with keys to a beautiful Dodge Caliber. Months later I had done research and really was itching to go back and give the car I've been itching to get a try. I wasn't nervous like i was the first time purchasing the caliber. I knew i was in good hands and Richard Miller the salesman was really nice, courteous, really friendly and willing to work through anything to get me the car i wanted. During Finance time i sat down and did the final paper work. Later, I walked out again with keys to a new 2013 Hyundai Elantra, Beautiful and elegant looking car. The overall experience was very nice. Gary met us at our car when we pulled into the lot and took us straight to the car we were interested in. He took us on a test drive that was longer than I anticipated and explained the many features of the vehicle. He even knew the perfect spot for my husband and I to change drivers, so that we would both be able to test drive. When we returned to the dealership he invited us in to look at the price. We were grateful to find out that we were offered 6.99% financing and that the monthly payments came in under our threshold. The reason that the quality of work score was only a 4, was that we had to go back to the dealership to have the Vehicle Service Contract and Maintenance Agreement redone, as the wrong vehicle was on the first set of paperwork.

I want to make this very clear...my rating Was Not due to Gary the line salesperson...Gary did his job well...I have been in the business for over 40/yrs.I shared my past experience with staff and was assured that I was receiving an ( in the business relationship courtesy treatment) Part of this issue is my fault for trusting a local(thought respected co) to deal with. I went with my son to purchase his first buying experience on a vehicle/(he has owned 3/prior handed down) auto's...I knew he was light on down...and although he had a good credit score his credit was limited,.we wanted to purchase a new vehicle but were told after several credit submits....that he could only qualify for a preowned. I was comfortable with that if right auto was found. They came up with a 2010/Hyundai/low miles,52K..one owner...good car fax... and overall a decent automobile.I was assured that the price would be right for the YR/Model etc...(this is where I made the mistake of TRUST) I should have left made a few calls or checked on internet...but I didn't...they loaded the price up to max///(financing) and then we headed into F&I..He did a very poor job of disclosure...thinking that when he buried the (over/priced) extended warranty and the auto theft into the contract it would fly...well I did see the above items and wanted a warranty for my son...I just let it fly ,thinking all along that we got a courtesy discount on the price for the auto...OH WELL was I wrong about that....(This young man needs to attend a Ryan and Associate's, F&I School)to learn proper disclosure, before the dealership ends up in serious trouble. Also the TWO managers on duty were the weakest I've seen in many years. I'm forgetting the lack of honesty in the dealing process...but their lack of experience on the desk and closing skills....The real person I'm most sorry for is my son....for the overpriced/financed burden I dumped on him. I will find away to make it up to him...but bare in mind I will also find a way to spread the word on my experience with Dick's Hyundai Dealership...Karma is a wonderful thing!!!Now that I have vented ...it was also expressed to us that we would leave with a ful tank of gas....not surprised we left with less than a quarter...good luck guys!!Raymond L Leech/Adrian Leech

This is my second Tucson..the first died last Friday in a head on accident that my 5 year old girl,12 yr old son and wife survived and I believe the Tucson was the reason.I NEVER even considered another model to replace the first one. The Tucson 's safety engineering let my family come home.Thank God!!I have pictures that show how this vehicle can handle a 60-80 MPH combined head on collision and still nothing but air bag and seat belt bruising. It makes me wonder why I and anyone else would even seriously consider anything other than a Hyundai.The dealership was refreshing with pricing and "get the sale done" attitude.I cant imagine ever buying a car anywhere else!

Bart went way above and beyond on helping me with my purchase. He facilitate finding the perfect car for my daughter and was able to get me where I wanted to be price wise, an extended warranty, and all with a great monthly payment. We are using this purchase to build my daughters credit and get her on the right path. We started by simply window shopping, checking on a car we saw on line. We worked with Tony first, but on his day off we met Diana. She was great too. Being very close to my height, she really understood my challenge of finding a car that I felt comfortable in. She did not get frustrated with me when car after car did not work as I have experienced in the past. My husband and I both enjoyed working with her. The only downfall to the sale, which was partly our fault, was there were some things in the paperwork that we got confused on working with the manager and the man who writes the contracts. We ended up having to call later and clarify some things, but they answered the questions well. So listen and read carefully. Bottom line, Diana and Tony were great and I would go there again. We love our car.

I have been buying cars for over 40 years and have had some good experiences with dealerships and their sales people. None of them compare to the great experience I had at Dicks with Kate and Gary. They had the car I called about and were ready to greet me when I got there. They were genuinely interested in me and where I needed to be to buy this car. It was the easiest and fastest car buying experience I've ever had. Every little detail and concern I had was met with a positive and genuinely friendly response. No high pressure just a sincere effort to work with me. Quality employees are what make a great company and Dicks can be proud to say they have Gary and Kate working for them. If you have a day to spend, you should make the drive to Dick's Hillsboro Hyundai. My wife and I did a LOT of research to find this place and we were not disappointed. We got the car we wanted for a down payment we were comfortable with, and the payments that we hoped for. Kate, Todd, and the rest of the team were very polite and attentive to all of our needs. Our kids loved the free popcorn and cable TV while we waited on the paperwork to process. I will be coming back here to buy another car in the future, you should too! Diana Garcia has been very helpful before, during and after the purchase. My wife and I were treated kindly at every stage of our visits. All of the other personnel at the dealership were also friendly, kind and helpful. Everyone was very proud of their product, inspiring confidence that we were making the right decision. I'm having trouble remembering the finance administrator's name, so I apologize for this oversight. He was also very helpful in explaining warrantee and protection options. He was friendly and pleasant to work with. We were glad to have had him with us during the purchasing process. Since then, I needed to bring in the car for the paint and interior protection. At the time of purchase, we were promised a loaner for this process. Ryan in service explained the limitations of the service department loaner availability, mainly due to the change in dealer ownership and assured me the sales department would help me out. I was connected to Diana and got my loaner in short order. I am very happy to be associated with this dealership. I like the way I am treated and I like the people that work there. I look forward to a long relationship with them.

People generally enjoy shopping for a new car about as much as a trip to the dentist, so my wife and I were very pleasantly surprised when we ended up working with Autumn at Dick's Hillsboro Hyundai.I currently own a Hyundai and we were looking to replace my wife's Ford Focus. We had initially looked at a Hyundai dealer down the road, but since I'd had my car serviced at this location for years, we thought we'd stop by and see what they had to offer.As soon as we pulled up, Autumn came out and greeted us with a friendly smile. We talked to her for a few minutes and let her know what we were looking for (the Elantra Limited) and she then escorted us inside to relax while she pulled a couple of cars from the back for us to look at.After looking at two or three versions, my wife test drove a lovely dark blue limited, and was very happy with it. Eventually we (partially) settled on a lovely dark blue Limited, but the decision wasn't made yet. The day before when we'd looked at the 'other' dealership, we had seen a red version of the limited, and now we were torn on whether the red was actually the one we wanted, or if the blue would be best.After some talking, Autumn said that she would drive us down to the other dealership so we could take a look at the red version to help us finalize our decision and if we wanted that one, they could do a dealer transfer and get us the red one.Once we saw the red one, and then made it back to Dick's Hyundai, we realized that while the red was nice, the blue was indeed our favorite, so we settled on that one and then went inside to start talking price.To make a long story short, we ended up getting the car for what we considered an excellent price and the paperwork was put into motion. The only caveat was that we'd have to wait until the next day to pick it up since the car was literally fresh off the truck that morning (had about 1 mile on the odometer) so it needed to be programmed by the service folks the next day (we were shopping on a Sunday). But Autumn promised that she'd make sure the car was ready for us the next morning and that she would stop by (on her day off) to make sure that everything was taken care of.We then went and sat at Todd's desk to start signing the 124 necessary forms to buy a new car. At this point, my wife was getting a little light headed from lack of food (we'd been there about 4 hours so far with the test drives, red-car-drive-by, and dickering) but only had $1 in cash, so Todd gave us the change out of his pocket so I could go get us some chips from the vending machine. He didn't even add it into the invoice! :)Once the paperwork was signed, we went on our way and came back the next morning to pick up the car. True to her word, Autumn was there waiting for us and we picked up our shiny new car and dropped off our trade-in.Through the entire process, Autumn was sincerely friendly and cheerful and answered our questions wonderfully. If she didn't know the answer, she didn't try to bluff her way through it (as happened at a Mazda dealership the day before) but asked someone and gave us the correct information.Between Autumn, Todd, and Richard, the finance manager, we couldn't have been happier with the entire process overall. It did take a while, but I think for an investment that size the time was well spent.I'm due up for a new car in a couple of years and I will automatically go to Dick's Hyundai and look for Autumn to help us get another new Hyundai.Mark Wallace

We just went to look at the different makes of suv's and Gary came out and showed us some. He told us about a Hyundai that was on sale and let us go for a drive. We said we where looking at different models of suvs and had us go to another one of the dealers lots to look at some other cars. We ended up buying the Hyundai and so far very happy with it. Like Gary a lot as he didn't pressure us and showed us the extras on the Hyundai. He was very nice. Would buy another car from him.
