Over the years I have purchased new and used vehicles and I have always had a moment of ' Okay we need to eat before we go and take meds because this is going to be lengthy and migraine inducing' .I did not have this experience with Daniel, my sales person. He is an A plus person. We stayed in communication over the phone and he never made me feel rushed or bothersome. In person he was pleasant and went over all the paper work in detail.I will recommend Drivers Way and Daniel to any one looking for a car.

My wife and I recently visited Driver's Way in Pelham, AL. We contacted Camara previous to our visit to check on a vehicle listed on the Drivers Way website. Camara had the vehicle waiting outside when we arrived. She handled the trade-in appraisal and paperwork without all the usual runaround you get at a typical dealership. Bung a car is not the easiest thing, but this was the easiest I have ever experienced.

We had come to Driver's Way earlier looking for a Regal; which is what we did have. It had just been totaled. We met a pleasant salesman, Ryan; who showed us what you had ....kept looking around town and on the web. Regals are not easy to find....We returned to see if you had anything new...We were concerned about Safety and modern features. When I mentioned Sonata, he showed us the safety and features...and the gas mileage !!! We were impressed and left with a car!!!

We bought a 2015 used Ford Edge from the dealership on 9/25/2016. We made the decision to drive to Pelham to test drive the car based on the list of specs and features of the car emailed to us. We liked the vehicle, the buying process was smooth and our salesman, Mark Higgins, was excellent. The issue that I dealt with today was not huge, and would not have been a deal breaker had the specs been correct, or at least, had it been called to our attention at the closing. In the list of features was 6 months prepaid Sirius radio and 5 years prepaid Travel Link. This was in writing in the material emailed to us. When I called Sirius to activate the service I was told that the radio service was 3 months, not 6, and the Travel Link was 3 months, not 5 years. I emailed the dealership about the issue and received a call back from their sales manager. He told me that the specs were provided by a third party and that there was a disclaimer on their website stating that they do not verify that what is sent out as a description of a vehicle is correct. In other words, too bad. I would suggest that anyone basing their purchase on that list of specs review them line-by-line with their salesperson and verify that they are getting everything listed.

I did not appreciate the sales manager coming in after my salesman had asked me twice about a service extension contract. The strong arming negated the beauty of being haggle free. I just bought my second car this year from Eugene. I absolutely love working with him! When I first went in, I had no idea what I wanted, but he was patient as we worked through cars and features to see what tickled my fancy. A few days later, I found a car online that I thought I'd like, so I went back in and we drove some more. No hassle. No distractions while I was analyzing it. It had a great sticker price and I loved it, so I signed that day and drove it home. This time, I knew basically what I wanted since we'd gone through all of that last time. Unfortunately, inventory was really low and what I wanted wasn't available in my price range. Eugene did not try to pressure me into settling for something else, but instead encouraged me to be picky. He actually wanted me to be happy with my purchase!. So I kept looking online and kept going back to the dealership for more test drives. A couple of weeks later, Eugene texted me about a car they'd just gotten that fit my criteria, so I went back to the dealership again. It was perfect! I can't say it had a fantastic sticker this time, but it was everything I wanted, so we ran the numbers and played with different financial scenarios. I didn't feel rushed or like I was "bothering" Eugene as I asked him to change the variables. I finally found what I was comfortable with, and as before, the paperwork process was smooth and simple.Now, I can't wait to take possession of my new-to-me car! It turns out that Eugene is a bit of a perfectionist, so he's having it cleaned better. Absolutely fantastic customer service! My husband had been hunting a truck and just happened to see the truck on some site. We had never even heard of this dealership, but we took a chance because this truck was in excellent shape with low mileage so we drove 2 hours to this dealership. When we walked in the door we were met with smiles and a friendly atmosphere. The salesman asked if he could help us and my husband said we came to see the Colorado, do you still have it. He said, yes but let me make sure it has not been sold. He called and in one minute he said do you want to look at it and took us to see the truck. He answered our questions, let us check the oil, listen to the motor, etc., then asked if we wanted to test drive it. He made a copy of my husbands driver license and handed us the keys and even told us we could drive it anywhere we wanted. When we came back, we told him we wanted it, he took us into his office and explained every detailed cost that was charged when you buy a vehicle, and even let us know what warranties they offered and the cost and what it covered. He worked several different payment options on a screen that was turned so that we all could see what it said. He did not pressure us at all, and made this car buying experience wonderful. For once, I did not feel like I was going to pass out, because I knew the price when we went to look at it. I can't say enough good things about this dealership, because I would be here all day adding words like, wonderful, awesome, friendly, happy, great people, no pressure to go with a different vehicle, etc.. This was the best car buying experience that we have had since I started buying vehicles 33 years ago.

Hassle free....everything is up front. It is what it is so don't plan on bargaining. Fair trade in...you are not setting for hours waiting on the salesmen to work you into their day. I dealt with quite a few characters the two days I went car shopping, set for literally hours waiting for people to find cars that "met my requirements." Not here at Driver's Way. Took me to the lot and said "here's what we got" and I found what I wanted. I felt no pressure...I didn't feel as though they weren't valuing my time...it was truly a win-win experience. Got more than what I had hoped for. Highly recommended.

Bought Town and Country Van 2008 6 years ago. Great customer service since then no complaints. The service Department is excellent. Would not take the van anywhere else to be serviced. In fact, we now have another vehicle we already that is serviced at Driver's way.

I have been looking for a certain vehicle for several months when I received an online alert that a car matching what I wanted was at Driver's way in Pelham about an hour from my home. I called late in the afternoonon Tuesday. I filled out a credit app and entered my trade-in vehicle info online also. Within 15 minutes I received a call from a very nice young lady who answered all of my questions. I asked if the deal on the car could be handled quickly as I had a very important meeting in another state the next day. This same person called back after everything was cleared and told me to come Wednesday to complete the paperwork. Everything was ready when I arrived! They inspected my trade-in, secured a very low interest rate for me and the trade-in was very generous and right where I expected it to be.I was able to complete the paperwork and leave in time for the meeting; (where I was able to make $$ to pay for the car). A great staff, very friendly and warm. No games or behind the door hidden fees or price problems. It was easy and even a bit fun! Thanks to Jesie and Ryan! : )

I walked into the 280 location of Driver's Way with absolutely no expectation that I would even be able to purchase a car. But, Then me and my wife met Tim. He knew we weren't working with the biggest budget or even the best credit so we told him what we had and he went to work. Explaining everything along the way, I felt like the transaction was transparent. Normally, when you explain to a dealer that you aren't working with great credit you get turned away or treated second class. Tim came at it with a "Challenge Accepted" type attitude and got it done. I'm not the proud owner of a 2013 Scion FRS. Quite literally a dream car and a dream come true that I absolutely could not have done without Tim. I normally (as a rule) don't deal with dealerships but, Tim has changed my mind and has gained a lifelong customer in both me and my wife. He's the kind of salesman I will drive hours for, I don't care. The service was exceptional and, they even gave us ice cream! All in all, if you're looking for a car, see Tim at Drivers Way.

We disn't have to wait very long until someone helped us and showed us on the computer first the cars they had and then we saw the actual car. My husband drove the car also. Since we came late in the day we had to come back the next day to finish up buying the car which was ok. Bruno was off that day but he told us that was his off day.the only criticism I might have would be the next day that they weren't sure who was to work with is to finish the process bit they all work together so we were able to finish the process up the 2nd day in about an hr. We love the suv.

My entire family and I started the process around 6pm on a Tuesday. We test drove a couple of cars are looked inside several more cars. We also got a good deal on trading in old family roadster. We finally made our final decision right at closing time at 8pm and Ryan stayed with us till 9:30pm making sure we went home in our new Toyota Highlander. After I picked up my car, I realized there was maybe a cigarette smell in it which was covered up by scented air freshener. Took it back and they kept it overnight and put an ozone cleaning machine on it and it helped tremendously. Overall, everyone at the dealership were very friendly!

I am the type of shopper that prefers to ask for assistance only when I need it, and to have a car salesman in my ear, while I'm trying to make a decision, has always left a bad taste in my mouth. My experience with Driver's Way was the complete opposite. I was able to browse without the hassle, and when I was ready to take a test drive, Allen greeted me with a huge smile. The tag team effort of Allen and Heather made my car buying experience worthwhile. Allen was very pleasant and extremely informative on my first visit. He continued to follow up with me via email, and it was his final email (which notified me of a price reduction), that prompted me to purchase the Kia Optima Hybrid. Although he was out of the office on the day of my visit, Heather took the reins and sealed the deal. She was extremely thorough and professional throughout the entire transaction. She made sure that I was comfortable with the entire process. The tag team effort of both Allen and Heather is the reason I will be a customer for life! I really appreciate the business model of Driver's Way. I don't like the feeling like I'm being played. They list the price, and you take it or leave it. No games. We went in to look at a car we had found online for our newest driver in the family. Anthony had promptly responded to my internet questions, and Summer had it washed and ready to test drive when we got there. We were on the road driving it within 10 minutes of our arrival. Mike was helpful and knowledgable, answering all questions, but never acting overbearing or pushy. We financed through them by way of the online application, and it couldn't have been any easier. Will definitely go back when our youngest turns 16 in another year.

All I can say is... WOW! What a great buying experience. I found a vehicle on line and spoke to multiple people within the Internet Department. Each time I called, everyone was courteous and very helpful. A salesperson quickly called me to answer any additional questions. When I decided to purchase the vehicle, the salesperson took care of assisting with all of the paperwork. I was unable to make the commute to pick up the car, so the salesperson delivered it to a designated location for me. All paperwork was ready and organized. The salesperson took time to review and explain all of the fine print with me. He was patient and never rushed me. The L4 LEA engine in the Buick Regal cannot stand the 11.2 compression ratio and GM used it for one year before going back to a lower compression engine. It will be a source on continual problems for someone. I paid the extra difference and picked up a 2011 Lacrosse.One thing I am very bitter about is the fact I had so many engine problems with the Regal; it went to Edwards Chevrolet twice, but I was still charged a $398.00 fee for the lacrosse purchase, having paid $378 for the Regal. I told the seller I was between a rock and a hard place....either keep the Buick with the engine that would come apart or pay the fee for the lacrosse.I believe everyone tried to make the Regal "right" , but I know enough about engines, have built a 327 chevy engine for my dragster to know that engine has problems and I could not take it far from home..

My sales man Terrence had to get the car to ford for some warranty issues. He stayed in touch with me the whole time. Right after I bought this car, the air went out. They took it to Cadillac because it was still under warranty. Problem fixed. Until almost a year later - same problem. Only then did I find out that Cadillac didn't actually fix anything - just charged it. Drivers Way didn't mention that. This time they said they put dye in it and wanted to check it in a few weeks for a leak. I just took it back 2 days ago and everything was perfect - no leak, cooling fine. Now that I'm 4 hours away from home, guess what - NO AIR!

My wife and I went in on a Saturday afternoon looking for a suv. We were greeted by a nice lady who explained the process and showed us where we could find the suv's. My wife and I test drove several before deciding to return the next day as the one we had seen on the Internet was being driven by the gm and would be available the next day to look at. We came back on Sunday and eventually decided to purchase one that hadn't been through the detail shop yet. We didn't like the wheels on this particular model and asked to have them switched with another vehicle which was approved by the onsite manager. We then went through the paperwork process in which we received approval for financing but it couldn't be official till Monday as there wasn't anyone from the bank to officially approve it on a Sunday. We were told it was ok as we had another loan that was guaranteed but at a higher interest rate and if the first one for some reason didn't get approved we would get a call on Monday. We were promised to get two sets of headphones, a full tank of gas and the car to be detailed and the "ozone" procedure to remove the smoke smell from the car. My wife received a call on Tuesday afternoon that our new purchase was ready to be picked up. On her arrival she checked out the car and noticed the wheels and tires had been changed as promised but no ozone procedure performed as it still smelled like smoke. They hen told her the primary loan wasn't approved but we still had the second one and it was only $50 a month higher. I reluctantly allowed my wife to take the car home as I was out of town. She waited at the dealership while they did The ozone treatment for two hours. She called me when she got home and I asked her about the other promised items and she said it was near empty in gas and no headphones.. I am very disappointed that the promised items were not fulfilled and seriously feel that we were a victim of a scam that deceives their customers just to make a sell. I have purchased numerous cars in my lifetime and this one is by far the worst experience I have ever encountered and would definitely NOT RECOMMEND Drivers Way to anyone looking to purchase a used vehicle. I should have spent a little more money and purchased a new car where I would have received everything I was promised. I'm debating on returning the car and going somewhere else.

I've been looking for a Wrangler Unlimited for quite for my wife because she didn't want the stereotypical "Soccer mom car". So we tried Drivers Way first out of the list of Jeeps we had picked out, and salesman Jakim Jackson met us at the door. We drove over an hour to get here to test drive a car we saw online. When my husband called to let them know we were coming, he spoke with Daniel and that was the beginning to our wonderful experience with Driver's Way. I like that, when the salesman doesn't jump in with you. We drove around the busy streets and immediately fell in love with the Buick Lacrosse. Came back and he took our trade in to be checked out and came back with a very good trade in value.While waiting on all the paperwork to be ready, Daniel and my husband swapped basketball stories like they had been BFF's forever, he just made us feel at ease. Tim Shaw was a difference maker. I had been searching for a Jeep in the Atlanta area and during the process of moving from Birmingham back to Atlanta, I spotted the Jeep on the Hwy 280 lot. My husband and I were searching for a mid-size SUV to accommodate our growing family. We went to several dealerships Saturday and couldn't find exactly what we were looking for at a price we liked. We then went to Driver's Way and were greeted by Chloe Cezar. There was no pressure at all, she told us to simply browse around and let her know if we wanted to look at anything. After a few minutes we found a car we liked, and she let us take it on a test drive. We were able to drive it by ourselves which was pleasant considering none of the other dealerships let us do that. It's nice to be able to drive the car and look at all of the features without the dealer looking over your shoulder the entire time. We decided we liked the car, and she pulled the carfax for us. Within an hour or so, we were out the door with our new car.Overall, this was a great experience. It is very simple and straightforward, and we felt like we were getting a good car for the money. If you are a haggler, this isn't the place for you, but if you want a simple process with a lot of cars to consider, give it a try. We liked that there wasn't really any pressure.

We have bought three vehicles for ourselves, two for our daughter and referred several friends and family to Drivers Way and we always encourage them to speak with Camara Frye. You simply will not find a better place to purchase a vehicle or a better sales person. Our most recent purchase was about two weeks ago when we unfortunately shopped at other dealers because we didn't see anything online at Drivers Way that interested us. After going to about five dealerships and dealing with pushy salespeople who were going to "give us the deal of a lifetime", I checked my email to find some suggestions from Camara. My daughter still wasn't interested so I replied to Camara and thanked her for her suggestions. Later in the day, Camara sent one more email and it got my daughters attention. Camara had the car pulled to the Pelham lot and we drove to Drivers Way to test drive the car. We actually purchased another vehicle on the lot and didn't leave until the lights had already been turned off but Camara stuck with us through the whole deal. Pleasant environment, no pushy sales people and the ability to test drive on our own will always be the reason we go back to Drivers Way. If you are considering purchasing a vehicle, save yourself the hassle and go straight to Drivers Way.

We purchased an Armada from Drivers way. We searched around and found one there that had very low mileage and was in nearly new condition. Our salesman was Eugene Zinger. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about all of the vehicles we looked at. He did not try to pressure us into any particular vehicle, and made sure to point out the benefits and drawbacks of each one. We did have one minor issue when we got the car home. The interior dome lights were not working properly. Since the vehicle was still under warranty we took it to the local Nissan dealership and they fixed it. All in all it was a great car buying experience.

We knew we wanted a Toyota Avalon and saw exactly what we were looking for on the Car Guru website. We drove from Huntsville to Birmingham not knowing exactly what we'd find at Drivers Way. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it was a large well-kept facility with many automobile choices. Terrence Corprew, our sales representative, met us at the door and quickly made us feel we were in the right place. The Avalon was as stated and we knew right away we wanted to buy it. Terrence explained their process and provided several alternatives for financing. He also worked with us to get a good value on our trade-in. The Finance Manager Eric was also very helpful and informative. All Drivers Way personnel were very friendly as a matter of fact. I usually dread the car-buying experience, but the purchase was pretty painless and we left entirely satisfied with our "new" Avalon. We would definitely recommend Terrence and Drivers Way to anyone looking for a new /pre-owned car.

After an accident, I had limited time to find a vehicle. After several dealerships I learned two things: what I wanted and salespepole are pushy. Online I noticed Driversway had several of the vehicle types I was interested in. My wife and I went there after work and met Bruno Riechart. Bruno was knowledgeable about the vehicles, was patient as we looked, and even let us look at neway arrived vehicles. No pressure, just helpfulness. My husband and I have purchased a total of four vehicles from Driver's Way, and have dealt with Bruno each time because of his pleasant demeanor, and knowledgeable answers and the fact that he has never attempted to push us into a purchase. On our second and subsequent visits, we requested him! All of the staff at Driver's way, from the reception desk to the sales floor, to repairs, have always been nothing but helpful and polite, and go out of their way to make the process of purchasing, repairing, or trading a car as simple as possible. Of the vehicles we have purchased, all have been in great condition, and we have not had any major problems with any of them - we know that a vehicle purchased from them is going to be examined and any issues will be corrected before selling to us, unless we are told otherwise ("as is"). We did have one minor issue with a vehicle that became apparent after a few weeks of purchasing the car, and Driver's Way took care of the repairs, provided a courtesy car, all at no charge to us. It was a great experience with Joe and his team in the garage! We have made the mistake of purchasing a vehicle from another dealership recently, and it did not go well for us. After 14 months of owning the car, we put in almost $2,000 worth of repairs. We got rid of it and purchased my current vehicle from Driver's Way (as we should have done in the first place!) and couldn't be happier! Take my advice - Don't stray from Driver's Way!

My wife and I live in Panama City Beach, Florida and we drove to Driver's Way to see a BMW that I had seen on the internet. I was very impressed with the facility -- it is clean, spacious and well kept. We were promptly and cordially greeted and then introduced to a salesperson, Daniel Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan showed the BMW to us and we took it for a test drive. I explained to Daniel that we were at the "shopping" phase and that we had one other BMW to look at before making the final decision. There is no haggling about the price. It is what it is (and it was 20% less than the main competitor - $1,000 lower price and $1,000 higher trade in). It took a little longer than we expected but some of that time was for finding a low interest rate (0.5% lower than our bank's low rate). The sales person was new to Drivers Way but was well informed about the car (Prius) and was actually fun to deal with. This was our second purchase from Drivers Way and, if we're in the market again, it probably won't be our last. (The process was a little disorganized - they could use more office space for their staff).

Love that the sticker price is shown on the window of all used vehicles on the lot whereas the majority of dealerships you have to find a sales assistant and look up the price which is very time consuming and aggravating. I can also appreciate the fact that your claim is "no haggling" over the sticker price. The only negative comment that I would have about that is I submitted a lower price than the actual sticker price on the truck that I eventually purchased but was turned down because of the no haggle rule, then less than a week the truck was reduced by $1000 on-line. Time is money and a bird in the hand is worth more than two in the bush as they say but I think we could have sealed the deal that day instead of doing the dance to see who would give first and causing me to travel 50 miles again. I would suggest not to tell someone you don't haggle sticker prices and then drop $1000 shortly after they leave. Very fortunate I came back, but in the end the staff took very good care of us and when the vehicle later broke down and had to be towed in. NOT ! the insurance policy we purchased, but the staff at drivers way came and picked my stranded wife up and then gave her a car to drive until ours was repaired. For that I give thanks to Heather Carter and her associates at Drivers Way and will be likely the reason we purchase another vehicle from Drivers Way.

I spent over 5 hours at this dealership trading vehicles I'm still waiting for the dealership to send me money they owe me because they figured my payoff too high and then sent less to the finance company later. They owe me just shy of $500.00. I wonder if I hadn't called the finance company to check to see if they paid it off if the dealership would have ever said anything about this overpayment. I've made multiple calls to get this resolved and still waiting. I wonder if this is a common practice with this dealer...

Joe Coogan handled my first visit to Driver's Way 2 years ago and I was so happy with the whole experience that I do not plan on buying from new car dealers again. My wife and I wandered about their lot alone till I saw exactly what I wanted- a SUV with 17,000 miles, looked new, still under warranty and much less than sticker price of a new car. This was the 2nd time we purchased from Drivers way and the second time from Kirk Sterley there at DW. Both times were seamless and bother free. I researched what the price should have been for the model I was searching for and found their price competitive, so I went and looked at it. I called ahead and the vehicle was out front ready for a test drive. There was no pressure and I felt completely in charge the whole time. While this was my 5th car purchase, it was the first at Driver's Way. It was probably the easiest, most laid-back car-buying experience I've ever had. I found a car online and emailed ahead to check on the vehicle's availability. I was told it was available and that it would be waiting out front for a test drive when I arrived. I love that customers test drive the cars alone - without a salesperson. This allowed me to relax and get a good feel for the car. My salesperson, Terrence Corprew, was fantastic! He answered all my questions, gave me honest advice and got the financing pushed through in minutes. The entire process from test drive to the last signature took only two hours. The facility is clean and modern and the staff is incredibly accommodating. They're even tracking down an owner's manual and a set of complimentary floor mats for the car since it didn't have either of these items! Hands down, a WONDERFUL experience. I won't hesitate to use them again.

Anthony set me up with Daniel Sullivan, and from the moment of introduction, I felt at ease. Daniel showed me the car, then handed me the keys for a solo test drive. This buying experience was so different it took a lot of explaining, planning, and secrets to pull it off. Have you ever wanted to get you wife something that she picked out without her having any idea that she was really going to get it. Well, the sales people at Drivers Way on Highway 280 helped pull this off without a hitch. First I talked with Kirk over the phone about a car my wife had seen on their website, but I never met him after that because of his days off. The other sales people helped me and treated me as if I was the only customer in the world. Thanks to Matt, who I explained what I wanted to do and he helped pull it off, for staying late and showing us the car, (and his wife who let him stay late) for keeping a secret and not letting my wife know I had already talked with him several times the day before. My initial experience with Driver's Way was great. However, the last purchase ( 2012 Infiniti G25 ) was a disappointment. It took over two weeks for them to obtain floor mats for the vehicle which had been apparently misplaced by the detail shop. When we received the floor mats....they were for a G37 and had the G37 logo. That in itself was not a huge issue. However, I was buying the car for my sons graduation gift and expected it to be in excellent condition after going through their "inspection process". Today I found out that the vehicles tires ( polished to look new at the time of sale ) are dry rotted and need to be replaced immediately. Replacement costs is not the issue. Putting my sons life at risk to increase profit margin is an issue.

I had been searching for a particular car for several months. I started having to expand my search and finally found the car I wanted, but it was 145 miles away at Drivers Way. I called late on a Saturday evening and spoke with Eugene. He explained they had just gotten the car and it was dirty and hadn't had the 240 point inspection. My wife and I drove over on that Sunday to look at it and test drive it. We liked the car, but there was a scuff about the size of a quarter on the rear wheel well. When it was delivered and Eugene opened the trunk to show us how to work the convertible, there were several pieces of broken glass in the trunk. We cleaned it out and didn't give it another thought until we put the top back up and there was more glass in the trunk. After a few days of this happening each time the top was put back up, the roof ended up with three scratch marks (we assume from the broken glass). Drivers Way came and picked the car up, left a loaner and repaired the roof and delivered the car again.Eugene and Drivers Way have earned first shot at all my future vehicle purchases. Then I simply walked in, presented the list, and the friendly salesperson, Camara, lined the cars up at the front door with the air conditioner and radio on, and I drove them ...without a salesperson! No haggle price, 5 minute credit approval. Choose a beautiful Lincoln MKX. The brakes where rubbing a bit, so the dealership replaced them. Pleasant car buying experience... Easy button at its best!

I went to Driver's Way on Hwy. 280 (the last weekend in May) to check out an Acura MDX they had advertised. I'd been shopping dealerships off and on over the past couple of months comparing SUV's, always coming back to the Acura MDX. But, was I ready to go from making NO car payments with my 2002 Nissan Pathfinder to financing another vehicle? As you can tell I wasn't sure. Then, while we were checking the Acura out, Eddie Johnson walked up from Driver's Way. He turned out to be the BEST CAR SALESMAN I've ever dealt with! He was kind, honest and professional and not pushy at all. He knew I wasn't 100% sure if I was ready to make this big decision. We were able to test drive the car a couple of times, and I felt pretty certain this was the one for me. Now it's time to discuss the trade-in of my vehicle and my financing options. Between Eddie and his Management team, I secured a very good trade-in on my Pathfinder AND they were able to offer me a very competitive financing package. Once the deal was made and they handed the keys over to me, Eddie spent time showing me how to work a lot of the bells and whistles in the car. And, I went back the next day for some additional help from him regarding the handsfree setup, loading my phone contacts, etc. He could not have treated me any better! And, I feel certain, if I ever need him for any reason in the future regarding my car, he will do all that he can to help me out. If you are shopping for a quality, used vehicle, you will not be disappointed with the Driver's Way on 280! Ask for Eddie Johnson, he's the best! And he's got a great sense of humor too!

I work at a credit union and came in armed with a pre-approval, and I was helped by Daniel Sullivan at Driver's Way in Pelham. As someone who works in corporate training, I frequently train others on customer service as well as selling. I appreciated that Daniel was so down to earth, and that while he was so respectful of my pre-approval and my working for the CU, he gave me the opportunity by running the numbers to ensure I was getting the best deal. On top of that, once he found out who I worked for, he was so complimentary of my company and assured me it was a great deal. He also talked with me about GAP and warranty, but again, respectful of my desire to finance through my company. He also personally travelled to the Driver's Way on 280 to bring another car for me to test drive, which actually ended up being the one I purchased. He was so kind, and while he was assertive, it was never a hard sell, which I appreciate as someone who trains in sales. He was also very flexible and kind to the fact that my husband and I needed to test drive separately while one of us entertained my toddler! I bought my car from Camara Frye. I wish she sold other big purchases as well (ie: houses, appliances, stereo systems...). I would buy them from her. She's real, not over eager, knowledgeable, straight forward, personable, and follows through (ie: car didn't have manuals in it, she immediately let me know that those had been ordered; I wasn't sure how to sync my cell phone, she made it happen). I feel confident that if I have future questions about my car, she will help me take care of it or direct me to people who can. She is an absolute pleasure to work with. I had been looking for a year for my White Diamond Tri-coat XLT Avalanche and being that they stopped making them in 2013 it was even harder to find. One night after I had almost given up hope of ever finding it I was driving home from work and looked over while on interstate and saw it glowing in the light! It was a packed car lot but for some reason my eyes only went to it. I pulled of 65 and drove up to car lot it was 12:30am so they were closed but I love that they allow you to still walk on lot after hours. Once I got to truck I couldn't believe it after all that looking and 9 other dealers that I gave my info to so they could look at auctions there IT WAS... I almost wanted to sleep on the lot till they opened at 10am so no one else could have it but my dad talked me into calling for a test drive the next day. Bruno at the Pelham store is one of the dealers I had come in three weeks earlier and given my info to telling him what I wanted so it was great I got to do business w him in the end. I can't say enough about how nice the experience was and the caring that comes from everyone that works together to make your car buying easy. Bruno even took my first pic w me holding my new keys! one for FB. Bruno explained the importance of Gap ins and warranties to me when even after talking to my dad that had never heard of before I think only bc this is new. I purchased both w also having the piece of mind during my loan that if anything happens to my truck it will be taken care of and so would the loan say if someone hit me or my ins. valued the truck after a car accident less then what I still owe on loan. So if you need someone good to explain Gap insurance go to Bruno he will set you straight. Thank you Bruno for helping my dreams come true of finally owning what I really wanted. My wife and I looked at several other major dealers and even had the opportunity to get a discount price via a friend that is in the car business. We actually went to DriversWay to simply test drive a few cars so I could narrow down our choices and decide what we wanted to get through my friend. The way things are handled here and the professionalism of every person in the business is unmatched. They made it so easy for us to compare the cars we were looking at. From the visual side by side comparison to the print out of each of the car's we were looking at mileage, price, warranty available, classification, and options each car had. As my wife said "they aren't car salesman as much as they are customer service reps that have a lot of knowledge about the vehicles." It's probably the best way to explain how they handle things and what it is like to do business with DriversWay. We spent the day before with the worst of the worst "used car salesman" that you can imagine at one of these car lots that specializes in high end vehicles, or at least their cars were high end at one point (their salesman aren't high end that for sure). We caught him in several lies, he didn't want us to drive but one or two cars and tried to pressure us into selling us a car we had no interest in nor said we were even interested in. So when we walked into DriversWay the next day it was a breath of fresh air to say the least. As a business owner myself I understand how, especially in this day and age, important customer service is but in most businesses it's not a priority. I can tell you without a doubt that customer service and ensuring the customer is happy with their experience with DriversWay whether you buy anything or not is their goal with each person who walks in the door! If you want the best experience and know you are getting a quality used car without having any worries then there's no reason to go anywhere else. I challenge anyone that's looking into getting a quality used car to go to DriversWay and see if you don't feel and notice the difference right away from other places. We won't ever buy another car from anyway else and in fact we are going back in the next few months to get my wife something and will send anyone I can there to get a car from there. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!

I stopped by during lunch on a Monday. I was greeted by Bruno. From browsing the inventory on the website I knew what car I wanted to see. Bruno took me to the car. This was my fourth purchase from DriversWay so I knew about the process that goes into the car before they sell it. So it was really just a matter of me liking the car - which I did. After the test drive, I began to fill out the paperwork but ran out of time as I needed to return to work. I came back after work and picked up right where I left off. We went here to buy a car for our daughter. We spent $7,000 on a 2005 Honda Hybrid. We read that the battery would be expensive to replace so we asked JOE COOGAN, the salesperson, about us and he said it was out lucky day because the battery had been replaced! 10 months and 6,000 miles later the car broke down. The battery, the engine and the transmission were all shot! We went back to them to see if there was anything they could do for us and basically had the door slammed in our faces. We asked about them giving us some sort of credit to be used to purchase another vehicle and the answer was NO! So we paid $7,000 to drive a vehicle 6,000 miles. If you want to be LIED TO and TREATED LIKE DIRT you should go to Driversway!

I purchased a car from CarMax and was planning on trading-in my current car. When CarMax's appraisal came in lower than I was hoping, I decided to get an appraisal from Driver's Way as well. Their appraisal was $900 more than CarMax and the process could not have been easier. They did not have the make/model in-stock that I was after so I still made my purchase from CarMax but sold my current car to Driver's Way. I was not pressured to purchase a car at all. The selling experience took around 30 minutes and I only had to sign a few forms. The experience was so positive I'll be checking Driver's Way first for my future purchases.

It was our first time to DriversWay, so we weren't sure what to expect. We were met at the door by Bruno, who asked us a couple of questions to determine what we wanted to look at. The very first SUV we walked up to had everything we were looking for! We continued to look at other models for comparison purposes - even took a test drive (by ourselves) in a GMC before taking the Edge on a test drive. We liked being able to take the cars out without the added pressure of a salesperson with us... It just makes sense from a consumer standpoint. Still have it after 109,000 going strong. My third from DW in 2009, a Nissan Pathfinder and drove it 157,000 still purring like a kitten. Just traded it back to DW for a Cadillac SRX. Joe assisted me during the purchase of my CRV. I had made a request the day before on the Drivers Way website to test drive a few SUVs and he contacted me within minutes to discuss when I was coming in. The next day when I arrived he had both SUVs ready for me to look at and test drive. He was very knowledgable and pointed out features of both SUVs, but I never got a "used car salesman vibe". They make a copy of your license and let you test drive on your own, which I really like. After test driving I knew which SUV I wanted and we started the process of purchasing the car. Joe personally takes you through all of the steps and helps you complete all the paperwork, while you sit in his office. I was financing my SUV and had to complete additional paperwork due to my last car being totaled and he was very patient and helpful during that process. The entire experience was very pleasant! When compared to my last car buying experience at another dealership, my experience at Drivers Way was better; mostly due to the one-on-one customer service and the fact that they "walk you through" the paperwork process. My wife and I were out looking for another vehicle because I had wrecked and totaled our 2008 Nissan Armada. We had purchased it about 2 1/2 years ago at Driver's Way. My daughter had previously purchased a vehicle from Dylan Lanier so I called him and told him what we were looking for. He called us a few days later and said they had just received something that I may be interested in, so we went to look at it. We took it for a test drive. We loved how it drove and rode. It was very comfortable and had plenty of room for transporting many of our grandkids and their parents. So, we ended up buying it. No pressure at all. When we started looking for a replacement for our Armada, we called Dylan to ask if he would be working the next day. He told us that he would so we set up an appointment time. When we arrived, he asked what we were looking for and I told him that I had seen a vehicle on their website that I liked. He went to the lot and drove it out for us to look at. It was a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. My wife has a ruptured disk in her back and she had no trouble getting in or out of it. This was our main concern with the new vehicle. So, we bought it even without test driving it. This was our second time around and still no pressure and no hassle. We drove the Pathfinder for a couple of days and we found a minor quirk that existed. I talked to Joe Gilliland in the service department about it and he handled the problem like a pro that he is. Thanks so much to both, Dylan and Joe. If a need arrises again for another vehicle, I will definitely give Dylan a call. We definitely recommend Driver's Way and Dylan Lanier.

For a first time car buyer this was a wonderful experience. My father and I decided to check out a 2014 Kia Cadenza that we saw online. From meeting Tim he knew off hand that I was the one looking for a car. Buying two cars for twin boys is a trying experience in anyone's book. However, I recently had the opportunity to work with Bruno Reichert again (from whom I purchased two GMC Envoys in 2011) to locate the "perfect" vehicle for one of my 23 year old twin sons who had developed a real enthusiasm for the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara. We called and arranged for the car to be available for a test drive, and were met by Bruno as we entered the showroom. He was gracious and informative in all he did for us. The car was perfect and he started the purchase process for us, which we completed the next day when, unfortunately, he was not working. Throughout the process, the experience was terrific.

Before the final "drive off the lot" time arrived, additional attention and clean up took place. The price was comparable to competitors and the service exemplary. Matt Veitch was a wonderful salesperson and representative for Driver's Way. Matt was personable and knowledgeable about the model I was interested in. He went the extra mile by locating the preferred SUV at the 280 store, traveling there with me, and politely answered every question my friends and family asked. Michelle and I have bought our last three cars from Drivers Way and specifically from Bruno Riechert. We have always been treated fairly and guided by Bruno and we feel very comfortable buying our vehicles from him and Drivers Way. I bought a car for my daughter at Jim Burke at the advise from my dad who "Knew a guy" and it was the worst experience I have had buying a vehicle and we will never go back there. I immediately regretted not going to see Bruno. The Drivers Way service department has always been friendly and always took care of our issue even providing a loaner car when the repair took longer than expected. We will continue to buy vehicles from Bruno and Drivers Way. What a refreshing way to buy a car!!! My wife and I went to DW after hearing about them from a co-worker. We went to just "take a look" at their inventory. We were greeted when we walked in and a salesperson explained how the looking and buying processes went. We looked at several different SUV's and even test drove 4 of them. What other dealership will allow you to test drive that many vehicles???!!! Long story short...we drove home in a 1 year-old SUV that was priced below book value. We will certainly be shopping there again for our next car.

I was at Driver's Way in Pelham with my mother who was getting something checked on her new car that she just bought from Driver's Way. She is very pleased with her car. Her best friend also just bought one from there. I was there accompanying her but was half way looking for a new car as well. I had found several online around town but I just didn't want to deal with salesman and all of the gimmicks. Her salesman Dylan Lanier was chatting with me and they had the exact style truck I was looking for so we went out to look at it. I took it for a test drive and loved it and as a result wound up buying it. It was newer and more expensive than I was initially intending on buying but the experience was so hassle free that I decided that was the truck I wanted. Dylan made the paperwork go as quickly as possible, but I don't believe I have ever signed my name so many times at one point. LOL That is to be expected anywhere though. He thoroughly explained everything to me which eased my mind as well. I have recommended Driver's Way to everyone I know that has been looking for a vehicle. I will not hesitate to buy my next vehicle from Driver's Way! The question on this review of "why did you visit this dealer" does not apply to my situation, because none of those are why I was actually there that day, but it is forcing an answer so I am going to mark one although I didn't really go there looking for a car on that particular day. Buying a car just happened by chance that day. You really ought to consider another choice for a person to answer.

I was intrigued by an SUV that I saw on driversway.com. It had most of the features that I wanted, and the price was reasonable. I had been half-heartedly looking for a replacement for my 16-year-old SUV. I hated to get rid of it, but it probably was a good time to do so. My wife and I went to the Pelham office, where we met Jason Dillard. We found the SUV I was interested in, but to our chagrin, someone from out of town had put a deposit on it. Jason could not find another vehicle like it in their data base, so he introduced me to their buyer, who said he would look to see what they could find. A couple of days later, Jason called to say they had found one in Orlando, but it was priced higher. Then, on Wednesday, Jason called to tell me that the deal with the people who placed a deposit had fallen through, and the vehicle was mine if I wanted it. We went to the dealership and within 2 hours, we drove away with a new SUV (2013). The staff did an excellent job preparing the paperwork, and except for wearing out my signature, everything went great. We have been well pleased, and would refer anyone to Driver's Way with only one qualification--they ask for Jason Dillard.

I thought his dealership had fair prices but it was not worth the hassle I got! Be careful that they don't tack on warranties and such to get extra $$. Make sure you read everything! 2 months later I am finally getting everything in order. Never had this much work to do from buying a car. I also realized I left my CD's and asked if they could send them to me (same day). Dealer said he would and never said otherwise. Never got them. He said they weren't there, which I'm not buying!!

Bought a 2011 G37 back in January from salesperson Tim Shaw. The process was quick and Tim was very helpful and professional. A few weeks later, I had an issue with the paint on the front of the car. Tim got the body shop manager involved and without a bunch of back and forth about the problem, they took action to resolve the problem. The first attempt did not satisfy me and to Driver's Way's credit they sent my car to another vendor who did an excellent job. I was impressed by the fact that they did their best to satisfy me and to make the process as painless as possible. My son was equally impressed and just bought a car from Tim as well.

When I noticed that Ford had discontinued the Fusion model I wanted, I decided I had better buy one while I could, even though I really had no reason to get rid of my current car. Doing some Internet research, I found the model I wanted that was very well equipped, and got an acceptable estimate of my car's value as a trade-in. The Internet folks (Summer) responded promptly, and Ruby handled things for me on site. She was friendly, thorough, gave me a solo test drive, explained several options, one of which caused me to buy an extended warranty not in my original plans, gave me a higher price for my old car than the estimated value, and found a better financing rate than my bank offered. As she was to be off on the day I chose to take delivery, she struggled with issues created by my insurer until all was well, and Bruno handled the delivery very smoothly. I asked for Eric to let him know that Ruby had done an outstanding job, exceeding my expectations in every way, and he was very gracious and appreciative. The entire experience lived up to their advertising, which is a rare thing, in my experience. I would recommend them without reservation.

I bought a car and I wasn't quite sure it was the right one when I pulled the trigger... but with the 3 day return or 30 day/1000 mile exchange, I felt ok to purchase anyway. After 3 weeks I still wasn't satisfied with the car I purchased. Nothing wrong with the car... it just wasn't what I ultimately needed. Exchanged it for a Honda Pilot with no problem. Love my decision now. Daniel was my sales rep and continued to work with me throughout those 3 weeks as I came back and test drove numerous cars. His supervisor Eric went above and beyond as well. Joe was friendly, non-pushy and knowledgeable about the vehicle. He kept the doors open a little later than usual since we came in near closing time and allowed us to test drive with out him present. Many dealerships, like Carmax, the dealer goes with you and it is just not something I like.I also like the 3 day return policy, 30 day exchange and warranty. We were even presented with an offer to purchase an extended warranty; however, my vehicle is stil under factory warranty. I would recomment this dealership in the future and Joe as the preferred salesman!

Came in, test drove and was out the door within a little over an hour. (My credit was pre-approved through my credit union.) I inquired about a vehicle I liked online. Based on the info provided, I drove from Atlanta to Birmingham for it. Once there I discovered they had misinformed me, the Mercedes C250 did not have all the features they said it did. They were apologetic, but I was very frustrated. Fortunately, they had good inventory and I lucked out with another C250 exactly as I had wanted and cheaper too, and then onwards, they were courteous and provided good service. I am rating them high because we all make errors sometimes. Advice: do your homework well and communicate in writing to be certain.

I would recommend this dealership and Joe Coogan to all my friends and famiy. He was very friendly and very, very knowledgeable about the NIssan. He also went the extra mile to answer all my questions, arranged for financing and filled the suv up with gas for me. i had dropped in at lunch to test drive and when i went back after work to pick it up. he had everything ready for me to sign and drive away!!!!!!!

My daughter and I were out looking for her first car and we stopped by the drivers way on hwy280. Much to my surprise we found a used accord that had just been traded in. The car is a one owner in pristine condition. Joe is a total pro start to finish. I couldn't feel any better about the condition of the car and the way Joe handled to transaction for me. Great salesman, but they didn't do what they said about detailing my car. When it was finally delivered to where we live, it had wet carpets and the next day smelled sour! Since our school and ballpark schedule was so crazy, it took several days before I folded all seats back to discover dog hair and stains on the inner seating area! Daniel was awesome finding my car and not pressuring me, but in the future I Will demand to fully inspect my car before letting them leave.

We drove 2+ hours to purchase our Sonata from Driver's Way, and will never purchase a car from anywhere else! The internet team was able to secure financing via email and electronic forms, and we were able to walk in, test drive, sign and leave. This is my first experience with a "no haggle" car dealer and it was a good experience. Vehicle pricing is fair, given the quality of the products. Every time I found a less expensive vehicle, a quick review of the CARFAX (or other) would typically explain the price difference. What I got was a great product at a fair price. #EverybodyWinsThe sales guys were nice, normal folks that seem to enjoy their work and are knowledgable of the cars they are selling.

Came to Driversway to see if they would offer to buy my 2007 BMW 335i. Luckily for us Matt Veitch was the salesman who came forward and offered us assistance. Matt assisted us in getting an offer on our car and after talking with him we decided to find a car for my daughter and trade the BMW. Matt took us all over the property and patiently showed us every car we asked to see. He offered us his experience and knowledge of the many different cars we considered helping us to make the right choice and helped us to get the best vehicle our budget would afford. My daughter loves her "new" used car and I would recommend Driversway and Matt Veitch to anyone in the market for a vehicle.

After being very disappointed at a different dealership in Irondale I found Driver's Way yesterday & had the best experience dealing with Jason. He took a hands off approach, I was able to test drive the SUV with my husband without him riding along trying to sell the SUV. He was very patient & helpful, I would recommend Driver's Way to anyone in the market for a quality vehicle. I found exactly what I was looking for and walked away feeling like I got the best deal possible!!! Definitely the best car buying experience I have ever had!!

Found the truck I thought I wanted and after driving the Ford F150, I wasn't happy with the V6. The sales lady, Camara, showed me a red 2009 Silverado with only 22,000 miles tat looked like it was just driven off the assembly line. Wow what an awesome truck! Low miles, great looking, V8 and a great price Now its in the driveway! Searched all over Birmingham and happy I found this one. Thanks a lot.
