I bought this truck from direct motors from Don. Direct motors did everything they could to make this car is quiet clean and run as smoothly as possible that after I got home it is just falling apart every day. And turning it into a piece of junk. I guess it's my fault for trusting somebody.

Started out our day at gulf gate jeep and dodge and after getting the run around from extremely pushy salesmen, we left and went to Durretts. We were met at the door by Don, and he took us to see several cars before we settled on one. About 30 minutes later we had the paperwork started and we left at the end of the day with an awesome used vehicle and not feeling like we got screwed! If you wanna buy a nice, used car got to Durretts for a hassle free experience!! Also ask for Don and tell him the Finley's sent you!

I have done my research before i came here . I regret not coming here first! The staff Itzel and Maria worked very hard to get my car a lincoln navigator 2004 and it was perfect! There were some things wrong just my nav. Dvd, and radio but they had fixed it in a timely matter. The process was great and they reassured me on everything from price to the car getting fixed. I will probably never go to another dealership ever again. They worked very hard and quickly to help me get into the car that i wanted!!! They were so helpful that they would fix and save the car for me. I will definately need a car in the duture Iwill be back and recommend everyone to them . Why go anywhere else they are defintaley #1 in my book.

I was surprised to find an unbelieveable price for the desired SUV that I had planned to purchase in the December timeframe. When I found my SUV online, I immediatedly clicked the link to contact the dealer. Surprisedly, they quickly responded to my email message and before I knew it, I was driving away with an amazing luxury SUV for a great price. The application and finance process was unstressful and completed in half the time that I expected. There was no pressure to purchase any add-ons, for example, an extended warranty, etc. I was also impressed with the attention that owner of the dealership gave us to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. I will definitely keep Durrett Motor Company in mind when I make a future auto purchase and happy to send referrals to the dealership.

Buying Experience:Lucio and the team made it a point to answer all questions we had coming into the dealer. As first time buyers, financing institutions were a bit hesitant to extend the necessary credit to us, but Maria worked hard to make a case for us and managed to secure a financing agreement with our desired monthly payment! We left the lot with the car we wanted and knowing we bought a quality product from a trusted dealer. Post-Buy Experience:Our A/C unit was not blowing cold air, and although we did not purchase the extended warranty that covered A/C for our high-milage car, Lucio and the team set up an appointment for us at their partnering repair shop (Century Automotive Repairs) and got us the dealership rate that fixed the problem for $115 cheaper than how much it would've cost at Firestone. All-in-all, the support and consideration for the customer continues even after you purchase a car for Durrett.

My car shopping experience began unexpectedly while stopped at a signal light, when I was rear ended by a kid running late for work and ended with the purchase of a very clean, "new" used car I was fortunate enough to find at Durrett.Of the several dealerships I visited during my car buying process, Durrett was the most friendly and comfortable by far. I appreciated the rapport that I developed with each person that I dealt with. No one was overly aggressive - as I have experienced elsewhere, or apathetic towards my needs either. They were extremely helpful. Also, I felt the honesty that comes from someone who truly believes in their product's superiority. From Lucio and Charles in sales, to Maria, Roy and even Craig the owner, each person took the time to answer my questions and address my concerns. I've heard many people over the years come out of a car buying experience saying that they would never buy another car from whichever dealership they bought from again. I must say that is not indicative of my experience with Durrett Motors and I will look there next time I am in the market for another vehicle - hopefully next time by choice and not as the result of a wreck!

I just purchased my first dealer-bought used vehicle from Durrett. While price was on the high side for all of the repairs needed ('excellent' price point for 'average-ish' condition based on missed large maintenance cycles, scratches, windshield cracks, etc.) I appreciated the cleanliness and organization of the office space and the friendliness of the staff. I am currently a satisfied customer who would use Durrett again in the future.

The final price is kind of higher than the average in market. However, given the good condition and great mileage the car has, the deal is acceptable for me. This was our second vehicle purchase from Durrett. We purchased our first Yukon here and came back to get our second one here. Both times we were happy with our purchases. This time around, we were not expecting to leave with a new vehicle the same day. But our sales person Frank was very nice and accommodating to our needs and what we were looking for. I was disappointed in the condition of the cars. Both cars I test drove had bald tires. This is a safety issue. Getting the tires replaced was a condition of the sale. They did replace them but with used tires. Better than what was on there but still were used. Most used car dealerships also fill up the gas tanks before the cars are driven off the lot by their new owners. The car we purchased was on empty for the test drive and was turned over to us on empty. David was not willing to negotiate at all at first. They finally negotiated a couple of hundred dollars. When given the keys for the first time, the alarm fob did not work and that is also an expense I had to incur. Of course it is important to get your car checked out before a sale by a mechanic and we failed to do this as time was not on our side, but the day we took it home we had to replace a headlight that was not working and replace fuses that were not there. So.... Definitely have a mechanic look at your vehicle prior to purchase. Frank was nice and very friendly. He was a pleasure to work with as was Maria, the general manager. The paperwork was easy to complete but they called two days after the sale to let me know that funding had not been received by the bank. They had never submitted an invoice to the bank so of course they did not get their money yet. I called my bank to inform them as soon as they opened on Monday to tell them... So they were just waiting for the invoice. Luckily that was resolved quickly but make sure you know the steps required of you in the process before leaving. I have never purchased a car from a dealership where I ever had to do anything but sign the papers and pay the down payment then drive away. I was not told to bring the invoice to the bank so if I was supposed to... I was not aware of it. All in all the experience was not bad but it could have been better. So far we are pleased with the car.

I can say the customer service was great. As soon as I got out of the car I had someone greet me. Most dealerships I go to I'll walk around 10 minutes before my presence is even acknowledged. I am a very difficult buyer to deal with because I'm very particular, but even when I was probably a bit ruder then I should have been they maintained themselves very professionally and respectful. The only issue I had was I called about a vehicle and the next day they didn't have it and they didn't call me to tell me they had sold it; however, in their defense it is tax season and they were pretty busy. A problem I had with other dealers is that they tack on all these outrageous fees, but Durrett didn't. What I bought the car for is what I am paying (plus interest of course). I also received a lower interest rate then I expected. Overall it has been a good experience and I am pleased with the vehicle I selected. Lucio even bought me lunch. I'd definitely buy another car from here and I would recommend this dealership.

I am not the type of person to usually write a review,, unless something was very bad, but, with Durrett, the extreme opposite was so true, I had to write this. I hesitate to use all "five's", in case it makes my review not seem real or legit, but let me assure ANYONE seeking to buy a used car, this place is absolutely unreal is helping you find, and more importantly, afford and get on your driveway, a car of your own! I did not think I would be able to get any car, except a piece of junk, at a high cost, due to some unfortunate incidents recently that caused me to relocate, have credit issues, even a repo, but, I asked around, and was recommended to Al Wallace, at Durrett. He is amazing. No pressure. Very caring. He actually gets almost personally involved to get me car! I was just going to give up, Al did not. He continued to search, work with numerous banks, and miracle of miracles, found me a car even better than I had hoped for, and at a price I can manage. With his help, and his just as nice coworkers, including Lucio, Maria, and everyone, I drove home in a beautiful, 2010, Hyundai Sonata. Low miles, perfect condition, and he worked out an easy payment plan. And again, I have very bad credit rating. So, no matter what your situation, don't give up, or buy a used car without checking with Al and Durret Motors first. They are small, a little hidden, but actually very centrally located near Hobby Airport.Once again, I can not thank Al and Durrett enough, and am so glad to know that great, caring, customer help is not just lip service, but is a reality at Durrett Motors Houston. My family thanks Durrett also.

Nothing pleases me more in a car dealership than being able to view, test drive and purchase a vehicle in two hours or less. In this case I think it was 1hr 20min...Awesome! The friendly and knowlegeable staff made me feel at ease and respected from the minute I walked through the door and I had no fear of being taken advantage of by a slick talking "used car salesman". I think they were fair and had my best interest at heart. I would recommend them to my friends and family! I'm so glad we found this particular car at this particular dealership. God is good!

This car was purchased after my husband was in a fatal accident in my Explorer Limited, that I had purchased at Durrett two years prior. I called Durrett approximately two weeks after the accident, and my call was put through directly to Craig Durrett. He was expecting my call, and was so very very sweet in his condolences and remembrances of my husband. He told me to just come over and not to worry. By the time i arrived, he had a car ready for me, completely detailed and ready to drive off. He took care of everything for me without one moments hestitation. The care and respect I received by Paula, Craig and Maria will never be forgotten. I have, and will always, recommend this dealership to everyone and anyone. (Tearing up as I write this!)When the time came for a newer vehicle, I of course hit their awesome website first. I looked around for a few days, and stopped by to look. Their dealership is always clean, well organized and attractive. The road out front is being redone (thankfully) so that detraction will be fixed. I was itroduced to Purchasing Assistant Al Wallace, whom I ha spoken with on the phone prior to arrival. He met me at my car, very friendly and casual. No high pressure from him or anyone else here. Al is friendly but not pushy, asks the right questions to get you into the vehilce you want to own and drive, and not what vehicle might have a "bonus" attached - (I don't think Durrett Motors has to play that big dealer game!)I remember times buying new or used cars, sitting in those big, overlit and smarmy dealerships with overworked, underpaid and desperate salesman (usually wearing green polyester old-man pants and worn out golf shoes lol) - absolutely sick to my stomach from wasting hour upon hour, spent waiting and being mentally worn down by good-cop-bad-cop sales people that just want you to SIGN. After hours of sitting in anticipation, you'll sign. That is if they don't lose your car keys to the tradein, or something even worse. If you like that game, then head to the mega lots. If you simply want the BEST in customer service and follow through far after the sale, choose Durrett Motors and their close knit group of employees. You will never go back to those lot lizards again!

I went to Durrett Motor because I heard they could help people get into a vehical with bad credit. Ray and the rest of the staff were very friendly and made me feel at home. I was able to get the truck I wanted even with my bad credit. The people at Durrett did everything they could to get me in the vehicle I wanted at a reasonable mothly price. He did a great a job on helping me find and car that suited my budget and my needs, he was very easy to get to know while asking what i was into and wasn't your cleshay car salesman just trying to get me in a ride, didn't push me towards anything I wasn't interested in at all, stayed in my budget, got me the note I was wanting to afford, I recommend anyone else car shopping here to definitely look him up first, can't go wrong

I was a little reluctant in trying to purchase a vehicle do to past experiences but decided to try for the last time. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a sales employee who automatically made me feel welcome and at ease with his greeting and smile. Expecting the worse I immediately told him about my credit condition and how I had always kept very good credit until my divorce. After this sad experience everything kind of went down including my credit score. He assured me that he would do anything in his power to give me a fair chance. And he did. The awesome thing is that he never gave up until he found someone who would be willing to finance me at a rate that was fair and do able. I left the lot with the car that I wanted at a price I could afford and I owe it all to Mr. Wallace....Al, as he told me to call him. If all you're employees are half as efficient as Al, Durrett will be in business for a long while. Thank you! Thanks Al!!!!!

Our shopping experience at Durrett Motor Company was a great one. The staff was courteous and professional, and we received a wonderful deal on our Jeep Liberty. We have not had any problems with the Jeep we bought there, nor with the Dodge Durango we purchased from Durrett a few years back. The dealership itself is a clean and bright facility, making the shopping experience there even better.

The Durrett Motor Company team is fantastic. When I first visited them about potentially buying a car, I had a vague idea of what I was looking for but not much else. They helped me narrow my search down to a model and year and found me an amazing 2010 Nissan Altima well within my price range. There was no pushiness, no aggressive sales tactics. I had a ton of questions and they patiently answered every single one. When I made the decision to buy the car and went to pick it up, they had detailed it so perfectly it truly looked like new. In fact, when I got the first oil change at a little jiffy place near my house, the technician offered to buy the car from me on the spot - that's how fabulous it looked! I have been buying my automobiles exclusively from Durrett Motor Company for the past 15 years and have had a very good experience on each occasion. The cars I have purchased include cars for my wife and me, and cars for my children. I have referred several of my friends to DMC over the years and I always receive positive feedback from the people I refer. I always wanted to buy used cars, but I do not know enough about cars to know whether I was being taken advantage of. At DMC, I have absolute confidence that I am being treated fairly. My son was in an auto accident recently. I called Mr. Durrett from the scene of the accident. Mr. Durrett was not only able to help me with the dealings with the wrecker company, but he was also able to help me find a replacement automobile for my son almost immediately. I absolutely will never buy an automobile from any other dealership.

They have nothing but Junk cars on the lot. All of them have problems. They want money upfront to work a deal and have deceptive financing practices. If your not approved for the car you want they try to switch you to a piece of $hi+, ask for a lot more money, ask you to find a straw buyer to get the credit done with and generally just jack you around stalling for days when you ask for your money back when the deal won't work and you want to go somewhere else. It's a nightmare.

ok. to start off on a positive note, the place looks great, nice clean cars, & the staff (Ryan) is very helpful up until we handed over the down payment.. so me & my girlfriend were first time buyers & we were desperate to find a car (i believed these people to be "a good family operated business" deserving of my trust & wouldnt take advantage of our desperation I WAS WRONG) so i told my gf she HAD to find a car b4 i went to work. we went in there at 11a assuming that we had enuff time to get a car b4 i had to be at work at 2p (that was my bad) but i asked Ryan about how long it would take to have everything finished & drive off, his reply was "oh.. about 30-45 min" smh we ended up both being late & she didnt have to be there til 6p. Ryan told us to go ahead and pay the dp and while they were "drawing up the paperwork" we'd find someting she like.. keep in mind i put $3000 down (which is more than enuff required for ANY car) so she found a car she liked an 05 focus w/ 74000mi. so while we were doin the paperwork for this car they put on a little show where some lady came in a whispered to him (loud enuff for me to hear) that they needed $3800 down i said HELL NO im not putting anything else down so he says "thats ok w/ 3000 we'll be sure to put u in a car today, we have a couple cobalts for u to check out" by this time im already late for work so i had to bounce & i assumed there wasnt that much more to do & i was sure my gf could handle it by herself APPARENTLY NOT. they took this time to really fuck her. after Ryan basically picked a car for her; an 08 cobalt w/ 85000 mi. he told her $3000 still wasnt enuff he needed $4000 and if she gave him $60 under the table he would "work something out" & if that was the case y didnt he just work something out w/ the focus?? & his definition of workin something out was letting her drive away with $3000 now and she would have to bring $500 back in 2 weeks and $500 more 2 weeks after that so we really payed $4000 down for a 08 cobalt now im not an expert but u do the math & to top it all off the car isnt even that great very mediocer at best. then when it came time to get insurance she left her purse in the car while they were "cleaning" it aka putting in the system that shuts your car off the day ur late and do u kno they would not let her get her purse to get the insurance paper so they mmade her sign up w/ their bs collateral program that $54 every 2 weeks and then the dont have their own mechanics so if u want a car YOU have to fix it.. OH YEAH ALMOST FORGOT HER CAR NOTE IS $229 EVERY TWO WEEKS which in $458 a month after we put $4060 down....... THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS.. PLZ SAVE YOURSELF THE STRESS AND HEADACHE DO NOT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME.

Please be aware that this company is writing reviews to make themselves look good. I have worked in the customer service field for many years, Durrett is very bad at it. I purchased a car from them, the same day they took the car to get an inspection and it failed. They didnt tell me that. So they must have paid somebody to pass it for them. The next year when I took my car to have an inspection, the mechanic pointed out that it had failed the previous year on the same day that I purchased it. I have been through hell and back with Durrett. Please do not spend your hard earned money here. If you write the better business bureau, Durrett will do whatever to get you to close the case to make their ratings look good. I promise you that you will be safe than sorry. Spare yourself the headache.

Matthew has now sold me 4 vehicles in the past, and I will continue to purchase from him no matter what dealership he may be at. Durrett Motors has great vehicles and I bought a 2008 rav 4. The dealership is so nice, and the staff is so friendly. I felt very much at home because its like no other dealerships you goto. even if you have the bottom of the barrel worst credit, they will help you, and help your credit score. all these people complaining about how durrett screwed them, they need to really look at how many people they have screwed to get such horrible credit, and realize durrett motors was just there to help. if the car had problems, SO WHAT FIX IT!!! every used car is gonna have problems. hell every new car is gonna have problems.

I purchased a vehicle from Durret Motors back in 2009 and are still paying for it, I was assured the vehicles they sell are Certified through AutoExam and are free of major defects. I am still paying on this vehicle and recently discovered it has been through extensive body and frame repairs; making the vehicles value a joke. I contacted Durrett Motors and Maria Aguilar, the General Sales Manager tried to give me this used car lingo and thinks I am stupid. I don't recommend Durrett Motors to anyone out there and if your considering going there because of your credit situation; look into other dealerships that will work with not so great credit. There are so many other options out there, stay away from Durrett Motors!
