I would like to offer my opinion based on my experience at Duval Ford on November 4th 2016. It began after the selll the very next day when returning the vehicle for minor issues that could be it could have been resolved that same. The sales team did not treat me as I was a valuable customer to them as they did attempt to demonstrate that prior to the sale. If I could remember the sales representative name I will put him in my comments so no one Whatever seek him to be your sales associate. I would never go back to Duval Ford and purchase a vehicle or recommending to any family or friends. I am completely done with Duval Ford. I have been purchasing Vehicles over the past 30 years.

Buying a car has never been something I would call "enjoyable". My husband was in contact with the sales man, before we showed up to look at any cars, to inform him of our situation, and to avoid wasting our time, or theirs. When we started dealing with our sales guy, Clayton Rutt, right from the start, he listened, and didn't try to talk us into something we didn't want (I've always hated that). He was more than willing to spend any amount of time he needed to show us our options, answer our questions, settle any/all concerns we had, even after we signed the paperwork. I've NEVER had such an easy, and nice experience with car shopping and I can honestly say this was an enjoyable experience! Duval Ford on Cassatt Ave. and Clayton Rutt have set high standards in this experience and this will be the only place I will return in the future to buy another car, and we will definitely be asking for Clayton again, as long as he is still there. Can not be any happier with the whole experience!!!

I literally hate when I come to this dealer but this is where I bought my first car so I attempted to stay loyal. But I'm contacting corporate about horrible service and the lack of communication. This is the last time I will go back to this dealer and I will literally tell everyone I know not to come here. I created social media accounts to talk about how horrible this place is. David wasn't in so Rudy took care of me first. He was great. David finished my job and he's excellent as usual. The thing that stinks and disappointed e was no loaner car for emergency customers. U need a bigger loaner car lot for people with emergency care issues. I understand each advisor has 2 cars to give to their scheduled appointments but what about emergency are issues. Duval needs to work on that. My other dealership had alot of rental cars. Ty

I recently purchased a new 2017 Explorer from Gunny (David Moore). Gunny is the main reason I purchased my vehicle from there, over all the other Ford dealers. He went above and beyond what the normal sales rep does when answering questions and taking me out for a test drive. Gunny is extremely knowledgable about the product and you can tell he takes pride and great interest in what he does. I was impressed with all the features that the Explorer actually has, and I wouldn't have known about them if Gunny had not shown me them. Never during the car buying process did I feel rushed or pressured to make a decision. You can tell that Gunny really cares about his customers and wants them to be happy with their purchase, starting from the test drive, all the way through to owning the vehicle. I should mention also that Gunny is great with responding to inquiries. I had a few various questions on different days, and Gunny always responded in an extremely timely manner (even on his day off, which impressed me, but wasn't expected of course). I was able to get a great deal on a new 2017 Explorer and I am loving it so far. I will definitely recommend Duval Ford (especially Gunny) to anyone in the future. Thanks again Gunny!

Salesman contacted me the morning after I submitted an online inquiry about the vehicle I was interested in, and kept in contact with me over the phone during the following few days. He was happy to introduce me to the vehicle, find information I was looking for, and carried a friendly demeanor.I gave three stars for facilities not for cleanness, since the entire dealership seemed clean and orderly, but for the choice of television shows played with young children in the dealership. I would also like to recommend the dealership consider some sort of playroom, clearly visible to parents during a sale, where their young kids can play without distracting parents and salesmen, and not risk destroying property or being hurt themselves.

Duval does a great job servicing my vehicle. It just takes longer than I expect. Also why don't they check pressure in tires when they rotate them. For instance. After they rotated I have 36 in driver side front and 39 in passenger front. The rear driver side has 32 and the passenger side has 34. It looks like to me this should be checked when truck is being serviced.

The only person that was the most help Rudy he made the long wait bearable for my oil change. Other than that service was horrible when I had to go back for recall and replacement keys. Had to wait three hours for some keys and then I had to keep calling for an update. Can't wait to trade my car in.

I don't have a real rating for the dealership yet, so I'll choose a generic 3 star rating for now, but Keith Bledsoe gets 5 ***** for his part in this experience!. We pick up our car tomorrow (Tuesday 9/29/16) and we'll see if everything promised is delivered. But gotta give kudos to our salesman Keith Bledsoe. He worked tirelessly helping us get into our new car and even sent the car out to get the trunk lid realigned & adjusted. Keith also supplied us with a loaner Taurus, for several days, till our Taurus was ready! It will be fully detailed when we pick it up tomorrow morning and then I'll have more knowledge about Duval Ford under my belt and I can make a more informed evaluation when it comes to rating them. Overall my salesman was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and willing to work with me on payments. I drove a few cars and he helped me pick out the exact one I wanted. He even messaged me the next day to see how I liked it. They were really nice, and told me all the information and then some about the car I was buying. All the part information, the warranties, what would come with the car automatically. They showed me the incentives I was getting and helped me get on my way. They didn't pressure me at all, and I get free car washes for life. I would definitely go back to get another car from them.

They both went the extra miles to see that I got the car I wanted for a price I could afford. My wife and I highly recommend buying a vehicle from Duval Ford. The atmosphere there is focused on customer service and Mike Murdock is the man to see. No pressure sales and very calm environment. Mike helped us find the right vehicle and vehicle options for the best price. The vehicle that we finally decided on was way buried in the back lot. Even though it was very late, Mike took my family and I back to go see the vehicle. We had to go through the construction but that just shows how much Mike wanted to find the vehicle that was the one we wanted. Mike's demeanor was very professional even with two squirmy children. We love our new F150 and want to thank Mike Murdock for all his help!

I first found Duval Ford back in 2013 for my new F150 FX2. Since my first purchase, I've bought 2- 2016 Transit 150 & Transit 250's for my business. My most recent purchase is a 2017 F250 FX4. The only... I mean ONLY reason I have continued to buy from them is because of "Gunny" Moore. He is fantastic to work with and looks out for the buyer. We have never been happier doing business with a car dealership. Anthony Burnsed was so helpful and didn't try pushing a car on us we didn't want. He was beyond helpful and took us right to the car we said we had researched online. We knew we wanted a Fusion Titanium Package and we didn't want the usual well lets talk about what we don't want and we had a great day comparing our options with Hyuandai, BMW, Volkswagen...Not one of the salesman we encountered gave us the expert sales help we needed, we actually couldn't believe one place came at us with a $700 payment when we told them our budget was no more than $400 and after we left they came back and said they could do it for that when they knew we were at Duval Ford!!! Gunny was an exceptional aide while we were just "looking" at used cars! We ended up buying one. Gunny stayed with us thorough the whole experience and shepherded us through the process of buying a used car! It has been at least 10 years since we bought a car from a dealership and were leery of going to a dealership. But Gunny put us at ease and stayed with us the whole day while we bought a used car and left in a "new" vehicle! I recently purchased a new 2017 Ford Escape, what a wonderful buying experience! But I knew it would be as we purchased my husband's King Ranch from Duval Ford in 2006 and it is a wonderful truck! I always have a very hard time making up my mind about even the smallest of things so buying a new car was almost impossible for me. I wanted to look at the Explorers, however I also wanted every option available. Needless to say that was very hard on my budget! Mike Murdock showed me the Explorer then showed me the new Escape Titanium, what a wonderful vehicle! It had every option I wanted plus some I was not even aware of, the color was perfect, however it was a tad out of my budget. This created a bit of a problem because the Explorer was within my budget but did not have everything I wanted, the Escape had everything I wanted but was a tad out of my budget! I finally made up my mind that I wanted the Escape but there was the budget problem. I cannot say enough on how hard Mike worked and got the Escape to work within my budget and once I had finally made up my mind, he processed the paperwork and got up on our way in record time! I have never had a dealership work so hard or so well together to get our paperwork completed and have us out the door so quickly! This was just a great buying experience and I love my new Escape!

I really do not want to give Duval Ford Service one star. This review concerns the Service Department. I took my 2000 F 150 for service to Duval Ford on July 6, 2016. I asked to have three issues looked at:1.Needed Air Conditioning system to be checked.2.Needed all four disc brake serviced.3.Needed my turns signals fixed.Service Rep calls me and says my battery probably needs to be replaced, took the bait and had that done also. Brought my truck in for service early AM on Thursday, July 6, 2016. Got an update that my truck would be ready by morning of Friday, July 7.2016. I said that would be fine and I would pick it up in the afternoon. The BadI pick up my truck Friday afternoon and this is where my fun meter gets pegged to a 150%. 1st Issue- Air ConditioningMy A/C was working fine when I brought it in. The air was cool but not cold. The compressor was working fine but I knew there was a leak. After picking my truck up and driving for about five minutes and nothing but hot air blows out and I could not hear the compressor running. Okay now I have to bring it back to Service Department to fix the A/C that was not broken to begin with.2nd Issue- BrakesI have a coupon to get new brakes and rotors refinished for $179.98 per axle. So $359.96 for all four brakes to be fixed. As I am driving my truck in the same time as 1st Issue I step on the brakes for a stoplight and the brake pedal goes all the way to the floor and my truck is not stopping! My truck finally stopped when I got pretty close to the light. 3rd Issue - BatteryAs I am turning into Duval Ford My truck dies right on Cassat Avenue. Good thing the traffic was not bad. I was able to put my truck in Park and re-start the engine.The UglyAfter getting the truck back to the Service Department, I pulled into the Service Bay and demanded to speak to the Service Manager. I just spent over $700.00 to get my truck fixed and have one issue fixed which was my turn signals. A/C Repair: I spent $170.00 for an A/C check that that actually broke my A/C when it was working at the time I brought my truck in for service. Brakes Repair:I could have gotten seriously hurt or killed because my brakes where not fixed correctly. It was apparent the mechanic that worked on my brakes did not properly test them after completing the task. I drove the truck the following week and my brakes were shuddering when stopping. I had to ask the Service Rep to get a mechanic to drive my truck and experience what was happening with the brakes. Now I have to bring my truck in for a third time to get my brakes fixed. I bring my truck in on Friday, July 22, 2016 to get my brakes fixed for good. Battery Replacement:When my truck dies in the middle of the intersection the first thing I think of is my battery died. Why because my old battery was working fine and the new one is not. This also happened within my five minute drive from above. I call the Service Rep on Saturday morning and tell him that I want my old battery back because I think there might be something wrong with this new battery. The Service Rep tells me they have already disposed of the battery and I cannot get it back. In ConclusionIF I was I treated this way at the Service Department would you want to ever buy a vehicle from Duval Ford?

He asked us if we needed anything and took us to the area where he was going to start the transaction. Cutting to the chase, Drew and William Law, Sales Manager made this purchase awesome. It was quick and very easy. My Son had researched this car for over a year. He knew everything about the car, probably more than the average salesman. He had money set from another source and went to finance form Ford, because of a better deal presented to him. He is now a proud Ford owner and the perks that come with it is pretty cool. The only negatives were the tv in the waiting area was stuck on club house Mickie and there were no children present, please stick with the news or ESPN. The other negative was that it took another 30 minutes after I paid for all the services for my escape to be brought up so that I could leave.

Purchased my first new truck at Duval Ford yesterday. At 42 years of age this was the first vehicle for myself, kids off to college, wife has the new convertible in the driveway, it was finally my turn Me being me I wanted an incredible deal, no a stupendous deal, I had the time, patience, and thick headedness that I knew I was going to need to get a stupendous deal. I worked with over 10 different dealers going as far out as 150 miles. I visited them all, small, large, local, no-hassle, and family owned. Duval is a large family owned dealership in Jacksonville, perfect balance. I had negotiated in advance via email on 2 trucks so I was hoping for no surprises. From the minute I walked in Renard my sales rep met me at the door, introduced himself and immediately thanked me for my service, yes I was in uniform, this was a nice tone but only the beginning, immediately the sales manager actually came around from what I call their throne came right over introduced himself and again wanted to thank me for my service. They were both meaningful thanks, but I didnt let my guard down this was a car dealership. The vehicle I was looking at was already pulled up front, it was a beauty. I still wasnt ready to sign that day, I needed to make sure this was the right truck and a stupendous deal. I took a day and checked my deal with some other dealers I was in contact with, no one was willing to even get close to Duvals deal even after being up front with what I was offered. I emailed back the next day and Will my sales manager said Dave its my birthday and want to have an incredible day, come down today and buy the truck and Ill knock off XYZ, I want you as long time customer. This was now a super stupendous deal. It was done, grabbed the wife to drive me down and went through the sales process. No pain, no shuffling of numbers, vehicles, up-sale of extended warranties, deals on ejection seats they want to install, no craziness, just an honest sale of a truck in a no pressure sales environment but with serious great prices. If you want a great deal on your next Ford head over to Duvals, you wont regret it!!!! Ask for Renard and Will.

Service was outstanding as always. Only complaint I have is the service waiting room - the TV was running on the Disney Channel and no one could change the channel. The remote to the TV did not work. Very aggravating to everyone in the room who had to listen to Disney songs, etc., the whole time we were in the waiting room. All adults were present--no children.

Great service at a great price. Immediately greated upon arrival in service bay and polities offered assistance. Service writer promptly assisted to take down idly time initial vehicles information. My truck was then taken back for routine maintenance service on schedule and promptly turned around. I had a few inquires about after market upgrades and all my questions were well received and answered with detailed information from a maintenance technitian. The technician patiently and politely provide outstanding customer service and advice. We were stranded in Jacksonville when our ford f150 died. We had it towed to the dealership thinking they would be able to fix it. Boy were we wrong. After 4 days and $2000 in expenses they still had not fixed the problem. They replaced the distributor rotor and charged us $328 and it was not the problem. My husband tried to tell them it was the computer but no one would listen. Needless to say, we ended up renting a uhaul and trailer and towed it all the way back to Ohio at 50mph. My husband replaced the computer and it now runs great.

I had been looking for a Jeep Wrangler TJ for sometime with little luck, either they were rusted out or wanted ridiculous prices for the vehicle and undervalue the trade. I found this vehicle and called up the dealership and spoke with Mr. Beverly who got me all the information i requested quickly and was completely honest about everything. We worked out a price on the vehicle and trade all was acceptable. I figured when I came in i would either be hounded on the purchase price of the jeep or that there was some "problem" with my trade it, well to my delight neither happened, they honored everything they said and were extremely courteous and helpful. The only thi g I would change is the push of extra insurance (gap etc.)at the end or when signing paperwork, I don't believe customers should be faulted into buying something their personal insurance will cover at a much cheaper rate. Having bought dozens of new cars and trucks over my lifetime, I have, for the most part, dreaded the thought of the process. Much of that attitude is a result of most dealerships being bought out by the large corporations who seem to be interested only in volume sales. This was my first purchase from Duval Ford and though it was a long day, it's one that I actually enjoyed. Hank Carr, who is actually assigned to the fleet department was filling in for Sherrod Anderson and I could not have asked for a more professional salesman. I feel as though I not only purchased a new Ford but gained what I would consider to be a friend to whom I would be more than happy to refer anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. Will Law, who is a sales manager, spent a considerable amount of time with me, crunching the numbers and ultimately seeing to it that I felt good about the price of the new vehicle as well as what I received for my trade-in. I have always felt that what it takes to consummate a good deal is the buyer and seller being happy at the end of the process and I believe that to be the case. The car and price I actually wanted was on the lot of one of the corporate competitors and thanks to Hank and Will I did not have to hold my nose and go there. That is the ultimate compliment as far as I'm concerned. Should I have the need or desire to purchase another Ford product, I would definitely return to Duval Ford. I should also mention that the preliminary Internet contact was with Sherrod Anderson who also impressed me as a professional.

Usually buying a car is a hassle but these guys were different. Jose Negron and Chris Bozeman found me what I was looking for (F150 Lariat, not loaded) and gave me an excellent price. They even found me an extra $1k rebate when I went to pick-up the truck, after we had already agreed to the terms! How fair is that! They were also helpful with selecting options and things I needed and didn't need, and since they weren't motivated by commissions, they weren't pushing me to buy things I didn't need.Lastly, Sean Farmer helped with bed-liner, tires and wheels and they even delivered it to me when they were all done! I called the dealership and talked to Lance. He was very helpful and answered all my questions about the vehicle I was looking at. Duval Ford is 60 miles from my home, so I could not be there until 7:00pm. When I drove in, the vehicle was parked up front and Lance was standing beside it waiting for me. We traded our 2014 Escape. We were amazed at the upgrades in the 2016: super acceleration, lots more headroom, better seat design (for our ample fannies), smoother ride, better overall comfort and performance. AND its color inspired us to name her "Spice Girl" for the beautiful (if garish) yellow with sienna overtones. We don't know what the design teams at Ford had in mind for the 2016, but it hit the mark with us. Great little car and just right for us. I had a bad experience at another Ford dealership so I checked out what Duval had to offer. They had what I was looking for and I made them an offer. All of this was done online. They came in below my offer. I went to the dealership to finish up the deal. When I got there they explained they had made a mistake on their price and it was more than my offer. Mike and Renard apologized profusely knowing that I had an issue the day before with someone else. Mike explained the mistake and went over everything he had done to get the best price he could for me. When he was finished explaining the numbers he told me he understood if I didn't want to go through the deal and he would fill my tank with gas to make the trip worthwhile. After going through the numbers, I agreed to the deal which was only $1500 dollars more than my original offer and still less than the number I had in mind I would go up to. This was one of the best experiences I have ever had buying a vehicle. I truly appreciated their honesty and really explaining how the numbers added up and what they did to get it to where it was. It may have been an hour drive for me to get there and when they told me about the mistake, I was ready to move along to the next place until they explained it all to me. Their customer service was exceptional. I work hard for my money and will spend it based on customer service. This is a situation where they won my business. I know where to go to buy my next Ford without a doubt. Job well done guys and thanks. I would give them more than a 5 rating, but that's as high as it will let me go.

When we arrived at the dealership we were met at the Front Door by Warren and his Manager Mike Murdock. I needed/wanted to trade my 2013 Hyundai for a Ford. Problem was I bought the Hyundai after having a horrendous experience with another Ford dealership on a lease and I was upside down in equity. I had a terrible experience a few years ago leasing a new Ford Edge. The car was great, the dealership treated me terribly and I ended up buying out my lease and going into a smaller car because I had to. The experience was so disappointing because I loved my truck and wanted to keep it, but the dealership wasn't helpful and I ended up rolling over the negative equity in buying out the lease into a smaller vehicle. I have been trying to trade my car for two years with no success and bad experiences at the few dealerships I have gone to. I was finally in a position to trade my car and get back into a Ford, but was very hesitant because of the past experiences and the fact that I would be rolling the negative equity into my new car. Warren at Duval Ford made finding the right vehicle extremely easy. While I was looking at the type of vehicle (SEL, Limited etc.), he was concerned with the features I was looking for and helped me get into the right vehicle at the best price for me and my family. He took the time to explain all of my options, helped me search inventory for the right car and gave me the time to determine what was best for me. He understood my situation and my hesitation in buying a new vehicle, he also knew how important getting the right car at the right price was for my family. He went out of his way to make the entire process easier for us. I have two small kids and making sure I had a sitter to come to look at cars can be tricky at times, not to mention getting to the dealership from across town. Once I picked the vehicle I wanted, he had the financing approved and done before I scheduled an appointment to pick up the car. It took less than an hour to sign the paperwork and get my keys. He never pressured me, he just made sure that what I ultimately wanted in a vehicle, I got! I cannot be happier to be back in a Ford and I am so glad that I came to Duval Ford to get it. Originally went here looking to trade in my wife's SUV for something a little more fuel efficient. We had our eyes on a used Jeep that was a little better, but weren't too sure about making the deal. While talking it over with our sales rep, Gunny Moore, he suggested going brand new. He told us about the rebates and discounts we would be able to get, and that would help us be more comfortable with the trade in. In the end, we ended up leaving with a brand new Ford Focus. We were very pleased with the whole duration of the process. We never felt pressured and always felt we were being taken care of properly. First time I have arrived at service department and not a single person there. I sat there as couple of minutes before anyone arrived. Asked for my service tech and was told he was not there. Rudy was my adviser. He is new but trying hard, no contact with me from time I LEFT THE VEHICLE UNTILE I CAME BACK AT 1:35. He thought it was done but mechanic had said I had a leak in shocks. I said if that is so it is all on you shocks were replaced in December. He looked and printed and tried to reach mechanic with no luck. Shortly thereafter the mechanic came in and said he thought there was a mix up. my truck was done and another vehicle had the problem. then he sent truck for complimentary car wash. I was able to leave shortly after 2 p.m.

Wow! It has taken me months to find the perfect car, and Mr. David "Gunny" Moore helped me do just that at Duval Ford! Gunny described to me that he did not want to force a car on me that I wouldn't like, but offered suggestions that met what I was describing. I had searched from Marietta, to Orlando and all the way over to Ocala and Pensacola to find the right car. Duval Ford stood out amongst the rest because they genuinely just want to find the right car for you. I originally found a car I liked, but I was concerned about the high mileage. It was raining that night, so we decided to come back the next day to test drive it. Just as Gunny asked, I called the next day 30 minutes prior to my arrival. Gunny informed me that someone else was currently test driving the vehicle I was looking at, so I said "that's fine, maybe they won't like it and it will still be there, or maybe we can look at some other options there." So we went up there any way. I appreciated his honesty in that moment, as others had not been so honest previously at other dealerships I had visited. So as we thought, the car I was going to look at sold right before we got there. Which I was fine with. Gunny had already picked a different one out for me and showed it to me saying "I feel better about the mileage on this one for you," as if he were watching out for me, and wanted me to pick something that would last! It was if he had taken notes the first night I was there because this one was everything I wanted and something I suggested I would try. I said "I might try a hatchback" and that's exactly what he picked. I appreciated that he thought about what I needed and wanted in a vehicle and listened to every little thing I said I "might" like, too. Duval Ford had the right car at the right price and gave me as much for my trade in as they could to get me the car I wanted in my budget. We WILL be back when it's time for my fiance to get a new car! Thanks again Duval Ford for the incredible customer service and for the honesty involved in making this sale! My daughter purchased her 1st car at a local dealership 11-2015 after having the car approx 7 days the car broke down on her. To make a long story short the car broke down a total of three times for the same problem. After all the aggravation that dealership agreed to undo the deal and refund the down payment. I spent 2 weeks negotiating and arguing over prices, rebates, and options with 5 other dealerships. It was tiring. Luckily I found a truck at Duval with more options and emailed a quote before the dealership opened. I received a reply at 0901 as soon as they opened. The salesman actually texted me and we had come to an agreement through texting before 1000 am. It was awesome!!! I didn't get pressured to come in and talk, we had everything wrapped up in 1 hour. Once at the dealership everyone greeted me and was very curious. First time I was actually at ease at any dealership. Everybody was completely honest and helpful. I helped my 80 year old mom buy a 2016 Escape. She wanted to trade at her local Fernandina Beach/Yulee Ford Dealer and has tried before to purchase there but the owners, management weren't as negotiable, flexible as the number one dealer in the Jax area--Duval Ford. Duval Ford was also nicer which is surprising since she had three ford products serviced at her local dealer over a 16 year period. Duval Ford is upfront, straightforward and they don't play games. Their salespeople are not on commissions. The other dealer in Yulee, salesperson, was rude about me to my mother and did the take away sales technique, which I can smell a mile away. Duval Ford didn't waste our time. It was worth the drive to JAX. We got a great deal and really like the Escape.

i found a car online that i liked,,i requested someone call me. later that day i had a salesmen call. i sent him some pictures of my trade,,he said he would get his sales manager to look them over and get back with me the next day. well 1030am the next day i called him because i hadn't heard anything,salesman told me he gets to work at 1130am and would have me some info in an hr or around 1230pm....well by about 4pm i texted him because he hadn't gotten back to me,,he told me what they said they'd put in my trade,,low ball. so i made an offer,,,after a few hrs i finely heard back,,,still no go..but no counter offer,,so i make one more offer, nope...so for five hundred dollars the deal didn't get done,,,so if this is how i'm treated before i purchase a car,,,how in the world would they treat me after they have my money....sales manager wont work with you,,heck i couldn't even get a counter offer...

David (Gunny) Moore went above and beyond in trying to work out a trade in for my 2013 ford focus Se for a slightly used 2014 Ford Focus ST. The deal worked out after a few days of small issues in financing. The Finance Wizards in the made some magic back there and was able to pull a nice APR and reasonable monthly payment. i regret that i do not remember the person in finance that was able to work the APR down so low. I will and have suggested Duval ford many times to many friends and family, as my wife and myself have purchased 4 vehicles from this great Dealer.

Got a screw in my tire. It could not be patched according to service. I have road hazard warranty. My tires have been discontinued. Service replaced the tire with a blackwall. The other three tires are raised white letters. Now I have three matching tires and one black non matching tire. Not pleased.

I live in southeast Georgia and had poor experiences with our two local dealerships. I reached out to Duval and had the Most Phenominal Car buying experience. They listened to everything we said, and instead of trying to sell us something they ordered us exactly what we wanted.. it took a little over a month, and since we had a trade they commit to a price for the trade and honored it even though it was a month older and had more mileage on it... Great integrity.

Drew Luther is a new member of the Duval staff and did an outstanding job in getting my 2006 Tundra prepared for my grandson as a surprise -- including the big green bow. This is my fifth vehicle purchase with Duval and I can truly say my extended family has exceeded my wildest expectations. I dealt with Rafael the last time I bought a vehicle. This is why I called and talked to him before going in. After watching their inventory on the web site I returned a few days ago knowing what model of car I wanted. They had one on the lot I was interested in. Rafael answered all my questions. T.J. Bernal worked with the financing end of it. Both were very easy to work with and seemed to be more interested in not just selling me a car but to make sure I was happy with the car I purchased. the overall buying experience was painless and very satisfying. My husband knew what he wanted and we were showed what was available (which I might add was many). When he found the one he wanted to take home, we made the sale and took ownership of the truck that evening. We didn't take the trade in that day because to be honest he didn't think he would find exactly what he wanted but low and behold there it was on the lot. Hank Carr (our salesman) was awesome he drove the purchased truck to our house that evening and picked up the trade in so we wouldn't have to deal with bringing it in on Monday. I am a first time buyer from a dealership. Lionel made the experience very comfortable and easy any question I had was promptly answered. I didn't have to haggle or deal with any gimmicks. everything was straight forward, and fluid. The first price we were offered was the best price (lower than the Edmund's average for the year make and model). We were able to walk out with our tag, a fully detailed car that had undergone a 172 point inspection and a clean car-fax report. I was treated with the utmost respect and stewardship. I have been to several other dealers and the service and professionalism here blows them right out of the water. I was referred to Duval Ford by the Ford website regarding a 2016 Shelby GT350 Mustang I am interested in purchasing. The salesman contacted me and said they don't have any in stock and don't plan to get any. Then later he contacted me again and he wanted me to participate in an auction for one they plan to receive. I asked for information about it and he referred me to the Ford website for the details (which I had already visited) and couldn't tell me anything about the particular car, what color it is, what options it has (didn't even understand what the word "option" means). Very pushy and wanted me to commit to participate in his auction but couldn't describe the vehicle, or even provide a date for the auction. I don't think Ford is serious about selling these cars. MSRP is clearly listed on their website and I'm not interested in paying over MSRP for a Mustang, even if it is a Shelby.

This was the third dealership I visited looking for a hard to find Ram 2500 4x4 Laramie with a 8 foot bed. Having to travel to find the truck, I made first contact by phone with salesmen. The first two dealerships treated me like a fish on a hook,thinking I would not walk after traveling so far. Then I found my truck on the Duval ford website. I contacted David "Gunney" Moore and shared with him my experience. Gunney and I pretty much made the deal over the phone. When I arrived at the dealership there was no surprises. I got a fair trade in value for my Ram 1500 4x4 Laramie and the deal was closed in about two hours. Gunney is the type of salesman you hope to find when visiting a dealership, a straight talking professional,that not only walks you through the process but actually cares that you get a fair deal. I brought my vehicle in to Duval Ford for my first 5000 mile oil change after purchasing my vehicle. I was very happy with the customer service when I purchased the vehicle and I was expecting the same level of service from their Service Department. This was far from the case. I purchased the service agreement when I bought my vehicle so I thought this would also give me a better standing with the dealership. I brought my vehicle in at my appointment time. When I arrived I could not find anyone to assist me. Mind you this was my first time at this service department. When I finally located someone they said I am not the one to help you and pointed to a door. I made my way to the door and entered where there were several Service Department employees standing around talking. No one acknowledged me. I stood an waited for several minutes before anyone said anything to me . When I was acknowledged, the employee looked at me and said, "What do you need?". I was a bit taken back. I told him I just purchased the vehicle and I was there to get my first oil change. I also told him I purchased the service agreement so my service should be covered. He had no emotion and did not treat me with any level of proper customer service. I was highly deflated by this. He took me to the waiting room and said my vehicle should be read in 20 minutes. Again I had an appointment. After over an hour someone, not my service person, finally came and advised me my vehicle was ready. I was a bit upset to see that my vehicle had not been washed or vacuumed as I had never purchased a vehicle where this was not standard after service at the dealership. This was not as big of a deal as the oil/dirt smudge marks I noticed in my car after I left. I am highly disappointed with this experience and I wish I could cancel the service agreement I signed. This is not the level of service I am used too after purchasing a vehicle and I thought I would be a long-term customer after the positive experience I had with the Duval Ford sales staff. This experience has changed my mind to the point I am already thinking of trading in my car and going to another dealership. Poor Customer Service in the Duval Ford Service Department.

So, it took us 3days before we were able to purchase our car. First, they didn't have a v6, then we told them we'll go for the ecoboost because they had it in the color we wanted. And then they told us it was sold the day before and we were bummed and ready to leave but we asked how much it would be for the 2016 to see if we can afford it. And no, we couldn't. So why did I give 5 stars??? Because they made it happen! We got discounts and they extended our financing and so we went home with a handsome 2016 mustang ecoboost! Love Duval Ford! What was great about Duval Ford was their low-pressure selling approach: I think they're paid by the unit sold and not a commission on the price, so they're helpful in much the same way that any other retail establishment might be, available to answer questions and suggestions but not twisting your arm to buy anything you don't need.

We came to look at 2 vehicles. We are out of state and Rafael was the most patient salesperson ever. He sent us paperwork on vehicles and kept in close contact with us until we could make the trip to the dealership. We ended up looking at a total of 3 vehicles there that day and purchasing the 3rd vehicle. He went above and beyond what was expected of him. My salesman Hunter Scantling was extremely helpful finding exactly what we were looking for, he took the time to go over the vehicle and show use everything it was capable which an F250 Lariat has so many options it was mind boggling. We had some issues and manager Will Law bent over backwards to make sure everything was satisfactory to our standards. I will send all my friends and family to Duval Ford. I'm not a big fan of buying cars, and when I do, I go in like a SEAL team, finding a vehicle I've already researched, sitting in it and test driving it, and then making a decision. The sales associate I worked with last weekend, Jorgos Merkuri, was the perfect one for me and my process: he answered questions knowledgeably and pointed out features but he didn't push one particular model or unit over another. He made buying a car like buying anything else: "What do you need? Okay, we have that and this is what it costs. Do you have any questions? Did you know about these features? Cool. Let me know what you think." Likewise, Eric Porter in Finance helped with our somewhat complex trade-in and financing situation, and he didn't push anything I didn't need. In fact, now that I think about it, this is the first car-buying experience I've ever had when I didn't feel like I had to awkwardly refuse (or worse, accept) something I didn't want.

The only thing I had an issue with is that my appointment was scheduled during lunchtime with the service technician and due to protocol of the station he had to show it to someone else who was also busy. I don't think the public should hear this conversation, they should have been able to save the problem in the computer to be addressed later.

Pleased with the service. Still have not received invoice for repair. I have yet to find it in my email. The printer was not working that day. I am pleased with the service though. My car was fixed a lot quicker than expected. All of the issues that I had with the faulty fuel tank and readings have been fixed.

I had the pleasure of working with Mr. David "Gunny" Moore in the purchase of my new vehicle. I can say nothing but wonderful things.My current vehicle died on July 3. My local dealership in Fernandina was closed on July 4. I went on line to look for a truck. The website had a chat room that answered all of my questions, and I recieved a follow up call from Gunny within an hour. My wife and I then drove over an hour to South Jacksonville to Duval Ford.We were greeted by Gunny, told him what we wanted. He showed us the first truck, it was exactly what we were looking for, in our price range, no haggle, and we were out the door in a couple of hours.My wife and I were personally greeted by the Sales Manager, GM and owner, and thanked for our business which was very much appreciated.Now the cool part is, my wife does not like highway driving, and worse yet, in the rain. Gunny Moore offered and drove my new vehicle to my home in Yulee, and gave me the full tutorial on how to use the vehicle in my own driveway. This is over 1 1/2 hours from Mr. Moore's home, but he took the time to satisfy his customer. Great experience, would recommend anybody to Duval, and ask for Gunny!

I went here to get my second oil change waked straigt up and they got started! Stephen Selby was very nice! He came into waiting area to notify me of the recals I had on my car and asked if I had time for them to fix it while I was there. They fixed it and got me out of there as fast as possible!! Dropped off my escape to have the oil changed and was out in less than 2 hours. Waiting areas are always clean and the coffee is always hot. There is plenty of space to walk around and new cars to look at if your having anything major done. Everyone there has always been extremely nice but I would suggest going to see David or JJ, those to have always been upfront and honest with me about everything.

Nobody likes to have unexpected service on their car, but Duval Ford made it convenient and hassle free. We have two high mileage vehicles so the work is not warrantee. The staff explained the options well, provided an accurate quote and delivered on time - all with a smile. Can't beat that in my book.

Everyone involved in the buying process was very professional and demonstrated all of the options for financing in order to save me the most money. Working with the folks here made a normally nerve-racking experience easy, seamless and pleasant. I did some shopping around prior to coming to Duval Ford and this place is head and shoulders above the others. I think I experienced both ends of the spectrum, with this place being at the top. Rafael was attentive, responsive and worked with us to find the right vehicle at the right price. What really stood out was all of the attention to detail and the number of little things that these guys did to make the whole experience EASY. They did everything they said they were going to do. Rafael worked to get the documentation for the sale in order so it was quick and painless when we showed up to pick up the car and personally gassed it up for when we left. Bought my 2014 F 150 from Duval and had a great buying expiernece. Mark Lacovera took time to make my deal right for me and gave more for my trade than any other dealer offered. they were 2k cheaper than anyone else for the like kind vehicle. Service department was just as great I had some minor issues and had gone to the dealer closer to my house and got treated poorly so I drove out to Duval and it was worth it. I'll make the drive each time now.

I test drove a Ford 2014 white explorer and was trading a 2013 Taurus. I was finishing my paper work and working with my bank for the amount of the check I would need. They told me they were getting the car ready to detail and I was going to the bank to get the check. Well a few minutes later another guy who was in training came and told me the suv I just purchase was SOLD.... Terrence never came to tell me what was going on and neither did anyone else. They told me a sale manager was coming out to speak with me and I waited 30 mins and he never showed up.I am in sales and would never treat a customer like this and I make sure I tell everyone I deal with NOT to buy from Duval Ford

I spoke with David Leon and went over with him the problem I had with the rear door not opening. David told me an approximate cost, checked for part, and said may need to leave truck since part was not in stock. Set up to meet David at 7 am and went over work needed to be done. David called the warranty company and explained the required work and they told David the coverage. David called me and went over covered items and said work should be completed next day. The next morning, David called and said work is complete and truck could be picked up as promised.

I took my wife's 2013 Focus to Duval Ford for warranty automatic transmission repair, power window issues, and scheduled service on March 26th, 2015. We couldn't be more pleased with the service provided by the folks there at Duval Ford. They treated us like family. Our Service Consultant, David Leon, was very informative, and genuinely attententive to our concerns. All work was completed as promised and on time. David even sent a driver to pick me up when the car was ready (really?, does service get any better than that?). My Wife says that her car drives like a dream and feels like brand new again. Many, many thanks to David, Cathy, Christian, and the service department staff there at Duval Ford. This is the third new Ford we've purchased at Duval Ford, and we wouldn't go anywhere else for cars or service.

I recently decided to purchase a new 2015 Mustang. I test drove a few different ones at another Ford dealership in the area; but overall didn't really enjoy my experience there. There was a completely different feel when I walked into Duval Ford. I had done most of my communication with Barrett via email - which was incredibly convenient because of my work schedule. On the day of my test drive, Barrett was unable to be there - so he brought in David Greer to do the test drive with me. David was a joy to work with! I didn't feel pressured to purchase, and he genuinely cared about me as a person. I would recommend these guys to anyone! The Sales Manager, Will, was also great to work with. I had contacted Dan Hodges because I was having a hard time finding a place who could repair leather seats in my daughter's car. He said they could do it and to bring it over. Richard Jordan and the whole service team is incredible. I had to send my daughter over there to get new seat covers for her car. They gave her a dealer car while it was being fixed. They went the extra mile to find the covers for the car and get it done in the short time she was in town. They treated her with utmost respect and friendliness and she said she never has been in such a friendly and happy car place before. The work was exceptional. The price was unbelievable. A couple days ago this place tried to trick me into thinking not being able to negotiate a price was a good thing. Some far fetched "market price" word was the salesman favorite. Although apparently kelly blue book isn't market price to them. They wanted about 10k more than everything iv seen for the similar vehicle in atlanta and other areas. When questions were asked about dents in the trucks bed he told me that it really doesn't matter because the truck can handle it. Their no hidden price was 38k.... which turned out to be 42k, once they brought out,you guessed it, hidden prices.All in all they are wolves in sheep's clothing. Stay clear. Do you're research on the vehicle and don't let them swindle you into thinking they are giving you the best price on the sticker price.P.s. trade in value for my low milage diesel F-250 was insulting.

I walked the new car lot and not one person approached me. My husband and myself had been loyal Dodge customers for over 15 years. Our goal was to get our son financed in our 13 Dodge Ram 1500, using 2 vehicles as trade. I had just celebrated an early 60th birthday when I took my car in with a blown air compressor. I had to leave the car there until I could get my next pay day. Both the service consultant and the mechanic were so compassionate and kind and willing to work with me until I could get it repaired 3 weeks later. I am always very happy with the service that I receive from Duval Ford. I never feel like I am being coerced into paying for service that isn't necessary.

Bought a used truck from a private seller and i wanted a record of oil changes by the company the truck came from.The service was excellent and it was done on a very prompt time. I did have an appointment and did have to wait a extra few minutes because there was three cars in front of me when i got there so i dont think having an appointment matters because i still had to wait.

Not only did i get a sweet emaculate 06 Grand Marquis LS Ultimate Edition at an incredible price, I also had the most pleasent hassle free buying experience in my lifetime. Kudos to Susan Moore( my sales consultant), and Chris and David for taking care of a minor issue involving the spare tire with no issues and great customer service. I highly recommend these folks for your next car buying adventure, you will be pleased with the entire experience.

I had purchased a used Ford truck and after purchasing it developed a bad miss. Jason worked with me and was able to give me the reasons for the miss. He gave me a price to fix the issue and the issue was taken care, the truck now runs great. Jason is very conscientious employee and always has the customer's best interest in mind. Duval has a very good asset and employee with him.

All was OK, But I have a friend who bought a "more basic" CRV from Duval Honda, When he took it in for an Oil Change, they washed it for him. I would think all Duval Dealerships would have the same customer service.

When I went in I had already test drove a few cars and had an idea of what I wanted, but was looking between two brands. Joe was great, as soon as the dealership received the color car I wanted to look at he had a picture in my inbox! I went to test drive it and knew it was my car. Joe has been awesome with helping me adjust to the new car and helping make sure my experience was drastically better than an experience with another dealer. I also want to say thanks to Rafael for explaining a few things and providing a few laughs and to Beth for telling me to trust Duval Ford.

We drove 340 miles both ways to buy a truck from Duval because of issues with the dealership down where we live. Tinos outstanding approach to customer service falls short when I say excellent. The professionalism and honest approach was beyond excellent. Tino had our financing and paperwork completed before we showed up and had the new truck detailed and gassed up for us before we got there. We were trading in our old truck and the dealership quoted us a price over the phone. When we got there the manager that was going to look at our truck; came over and introduced himself first and gave us $500 more than what they told us over the phone. I would highly recommend this dealership. A refreshing change to the car buying experience, thank you Tino and Duvall for a great truck and wonderful experience!!

I CAME TO THE CASSET AVE LOCATION TO VIEW A COUPLE OF CARS I SAW ONLINE. JENNIFER HELPED ME. SHE WAS GREAT. NO PRESSURE AND LET US LOOK. I DIDNT LIKE THE CARS I CAME FOR BUT JENNIFER FOUND A CAR FOR US THAT WAS IN OUR PRICE RANGE AND WAS MUCH BETTER THAN WHAT I EXPECTED. GREAT SHAPE AND GOOD PRICE. I WAS GOING TO GET A LOAN FROM MY BANK FOR THE CAR BUT AFTER DISCUSSING FINANCES THEY ENDED UP BEATING THE INTEREST RATE I WOULD HAVE GOT FROM THE BANK. OVERALL I HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE AND WOULD GO BACK TO THIS DEALERSHIP FOR FUTURE CARS.

This is the 2nd new ford purchased at Duval Ford - first was a 2012 Ford Escape purchased March 2012. Have dealt with Rodney Brown on both purchases and can say nothing but positive adjectives about his assistance. Rodney spent time and effort in locating the 2014 Edge with the options we wanted. He called me on a Saturday morning advising to that effect and to determine if we wantedto pursue. The car was at Duval the following Monday and we signed the papers that afternoon.We have purchased several new vehicles over the years dealing with a variety of dealer sales staff.None compare to Rodney.
