These people never return a call and try to out you in whatever they want you to have. Not friendly or knowledgeable about the cars on the lot. I use to get my car serviced there because of the experience the salespeople gave me I won't even go back for service now. Not a good representation of the Gilstrap family I'm sure, they should get a whole new crew there.

This place is definitely not for the people like they said they were! I purchased a vehicle noticed i will never be satisfied with it because of the size. I contacted the dealership and seems to be the least of their concerns to make sure that the customer is satisfied.

Went to Easley Mitsubishi and found a 13 model car. It took 5 days to get the approval!( not sure why I didn't walk away at this point!!) After the 5th day we went in signed all the papers and the car was ours!! 3 weeks after we signed all the papers and drove off the lot with our new car they called us to let us know that the bank had rejected the loan and that we would have to return the car! Return a car that WE purchased and SIGNED ALL the proper paper work on!! In the mean time they had our vehicle that we had traded in! On top of catching up payments on our vehicle we had late fees that we had to pay with no help from the dealership! Not once did they try to make this situation right! I hope that this was a one time fluke and that this doesn't happen to anyone else, but I learned a lot about how they do business and how they "take care of their customers" through out this situation!

Was told you could put a couple hundred down but it was $500 down. Was told payments would be around $300 a month ended up $350. Did not get a full tank of gas and as for the CRAZY money Gilstrap says he gives he would not even give me $1500 for my 2001 explorer yeah CRAZY money. Never was given any other option of car just the matchbox car mirage. Thanks

Decided not to even asked Todd exactly how much he oeopened it up on the way home on the 185 toll road. Fraud!! Power Booking was told today the loan was not approved. Come to find out thats not true. Loan was approved hkwever the GM lied and tried to fraud bank and they wont pay until the loan contract is rewritten. Which they would loose 800 dollars on. Turns out this is a criminal matter. As the consumer Im nkt paying for this... they even took in my trade.. which will be in loan default by the end of the month. They only put 20 in gas in mg car and gave it to me dirty, tire light on since i got it and still no mats.. this is by far not how i wanted to buy my first car. Now its lawyer and attorney generals issue. Dont go there...

I went Saturday August 10th to look at the invetory. I talked to a man named Mee-chi. (forgive spelling) We test drove a 2014 Outlander. They said the 2014 did not have any rebates but the 2013 did. We found one we liked. We told them our credit was not that great but they said they could run a (prelimitary) credit check. Dusty ran one and told us we had a 70% chance of getting financed. He said he would know more Monday and call us on Monday. (They never called.) I went by after work and talked to Dusty. He said he would call in about 45 minutes. (They never called.) I called many times, talked to different people and left messages. (They never called back.) My wife ever taked to a manager, he said someone would call us. (They never called.) I went to the Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint. I also sent them an e-mail stating what I had just done. Friday while I was on lunch, Mee-chi called me. He wanted to know if there was anything he could do and if I would still be willing to work with him. I told him yes. I called him today,Saturday August 17th at 12:18 PM. I talked to Mee-chi. He promised he would get me some information and call me back before 7:00. It is now, 8:06 Saturday evening August 17th. He never called me back. Jay Gilstrap is the owner. I purchased a new 2012 mitsubishi galant on the 2013 forth of july wk end and when I got it home I noticed an 8 to 10 inch long scratch on the hood . I took a picture of it and sent it to dustin the sales manager who didnt get back in touch with me . I had to go back to the dealership where I talked to frank keene about it . He said dustin had shown him the picture . Frank said hed get the scratch taken care and said hed be calling me soon about getn the scratch fixed by there scratch guy . Since then ive been put off repeatedly and my 1st payment isnt even due yet . Frank keene cancel my Thursday july 25th appointment and when I reminded him about the inside rubber seal around the sunroof he told me hed call me before 12pm on friday july 26 but he did not . I waited 2 days more and still he didnt call me . So I called him at the dealership and ultimately got excuses and some attitude from him and he said hed call me around 915am monday july 29 2013 and he did not call . I waited til 10am and called the dealership they said frank wasnt there yet but his assistant said she could help me . She listen to my story and transfered me to servicewho said the salesman had to set that up and transfered me to sales . I told the lady my story and she said shed have some1 call me back . During my conversation with the lady in sail I let her know how much I regreted my decision and that my next new car purchase would not be made from easley mitsubishi or any gilstrap family dealership . Also it should be noted that my friend who recommended them to me still hasnt received her 100 dollars from easley mitsubishi and has only gotn the run around when she has called about it .

Purchased what I thought was a new, undamaged 2013 Outlander Sport from Easley Mitsubishi. Discovered that the vehicle had been damaged either in transit or on the dealer's lot, or both. Damage was not disclosed to me at the time of sale. Dealership unwilling to make amends or even admit it behaved unethically. The parent company, Mitsubishi, not much help, although they did disclose that more damage than I thought had befallen this vehicle; they were unwilling to disclose to me how much they paid the dealership for repairs. The salesman who assisted me, Frank Keene, made it a point to tell me what a fine Christian man the owner of the dealership, Jay Gilstrap, is supposed to be; I have not found that to be the case. Bottom line(s): (A) avoid this dealership, (B) avoid Mitsubishi, who is unwilling to sanction the dealership for it's unethical business practices, and (C) make sure you ask point blank if the "new" car you are considering has been damaged prior to buying it.

Went in to look for a used car and was immediately met by James. He showed us all the cars that were in our price range. Took us out for a test drive. Made sure that it was the car that we wanted. We were in the car the very next day. This is the 3rd car that I have got from them and it is always a great experience.

Zam was wonderful helping me out with finding a car! I came in to look at an older, used outlander, and came out with a NEW outlander sport (to BUY) for less than what we were expecting to pay monthly for the older model. It was a great experience, and everyone there was super nice and friendly. Didn't feel pressured at all, and all of our questions, which was a lot, were answered promptly. I had such a wonderful experience with this dealership. We drove from Charlotte because they had the best price around. Their customer service was excellent, and our salesmen (Mr. Smith) was very knowledgeable. It was so simple! We saw how competitive their price was on the internet, went to the dealership, and got the price we asked for. I wish every time my family purchased a car it was this easy. I highly recommend that anyone looking for a Mitsubishi Automobile NOT go to any Gilstrap Family dealerships (Easley Mitsubishi, Anderson Mitsubishi, Truck Farm of Easley and Anderson). They do nothing for you when you have an issue with your Mitsubishi. Once the sale is complete, they want you to go away and not come back to them for anything.

If the weather stripping on the vehicle, you just purchased, was deteriorating and discolored, how would you want it fixed? When I asked Jay Gilstrap this question, his answer was: Replace the weather stripping. But when its my (Easley Mitsubishi Customer)vehicle, the dealership (Haley) decides they want to spray paint the weather stripping, which by the way Jay and Haley, it doesn't work nor does it dry. It's obviously the cheap way of trying to fix things. But I assure you, Jay Gilstrap will not lose any sleep over this because after my conversation with him, he feels that everything was handled the best way possible and that's how his dealerships operate. Alittle word of advice Mr. Gilstrap, treat your customers as you would want to be treated.

He has passed on some extremely valuable information to me regarding my future purchase, and given me insight that i was not aware of that will be very valuable in making my purchase decision. I was looking for a car for my son as a graduation gift from high school and I came in on a Friday. I really wasn't sure if it was what I wanted for my son or if he would be comfortable in the 2009 Lancer, THEY LET ME TAKE IT HOME FOR THE WEEKEND! I was so surprised by these, but my son got to drive it for the weekend to see if he would like the car. My son and I both went back up there in the Lancer on Monday and within 45 minutes my son drove home in his new car! Very happy and enjoyed Frank as our salesperson!!!! Definately will be going back for any other car needs!
