I went into this dealership with a very specific budget and idea for a vehicle. The ridiculously long and bad sales tactics used to box me into this car were infuriating from the get go. The final “negotiated” price was 40% less than what I was originally quoted. We all expect some “wiggle room” from car guys but come on! Then I’m sold an “auto butler” package to have 2 full details twice a year and have a manager check and make sure that there is not interior damage on my lease. Seemed like a good deal Today I go in and sit for 2.5 hrs for my car to go through the car wash and my carpets cleaned. My center console is still dirty, my dash has been half wiped, and there’s new mud all Over my passenger door. The customer service rep calls me and informs me that I got what auto butler offers. I’m making my review 2 stars because the first guy I worked with was wonderful and energetic. Once I was “inside” my experience went downhill. Bottom line: if you’re hoping for a better-than-industry-reputation experience, this is not the place. They’ll jerk you around and oversell you

Top tier dealership when it comes to professionalism and customer service. Nate was an amazing car salesman and contacted me multiple times trying to get the deal done. You can tell he cares about what he does. He's by far the best car salesman I've come across and I've worked for a car dealership myself. Regarding finance, Gary and Mark were great to work with and they did an incredible job with helping me get approved. 10/10

The experience was good, except for two things I was notified by the app the status of my care from the service department said my car was Ready but in all actuality it was not I still had to wait around 40 minutes more before they had got the paper work and was able to close my service ticket. The second item was my car's notification still says service required, after I just left with my service completed. This item needs to be added to the service guys check list when service has been completed, now I got to figure out how to reset the service reminder or take back to the dealership which is 40 minutes away.

This was my first visit to Eastern Shore Toyota and I was very pleased. Upon arrival to the service department they had all hands on deck getting people signed in. Out advisor was friendly and personable. Since I had multiple items done I left the car there and was able to remotely monitor the progress of my appointment. I received a call from the service department immediately upon completion. The bill was very close to the amount on the estimate. And lastly, I've never had such a thorough car wash at a dealership!!! I will definitely return to Eastern Shore Toyota for my auto servicing needs.

From day one, this was the worst car buying experience I have ever had. In addition, we were lied to regarding features in the car. When we took the car in for service, there were additional fees that were not disclosed previously. We were also lied to about the warranty on the battery. We were promised a 10 year warranty on the hybrid battery. Toyota only provides an 8 year OR 100,000 mile warranty. Not surprisingly, the battery died at 145,000 miles and we are on the hood for thousands of dollars in repairs. The response from Eastern Shore Toyota: So sorry, not our problem. Update - 2021 - 7 years later and was going to give them another shot. Yet another bad shopping experience. We just started shopping for a SUV. I knew I wanted to test drive a 4 runner. I clearly told the salesman that I wanted to test drive a 4 runner. He repeatedly told me that he works on commission and wasn't going to let me drive a vehicle unless I may buy it because it waste his time and mine. So I stopped working with him and asked for someone that would let me drive a 4 runner. They sent a person out from the service department. She had no sales experience and could not sell the vehicle. She was lovely. If I could buy from her and get her commission I would. Since I can't, I will go elsewhere.

I had a negative experience at my local Toyota dealership so visiting Eastern Shore was like a breath of fresh air. I'd waited a little over a week for the local dealership to find a Corolla S in electric blue. I saw the car online while price comparison shopping and fell in love. After being called back and told that my car was in at the other dealership and driving all the way to town to find that not only was my car not in, they tried to cram me into an SE claiming it was the same thing and that I'd just need to settle for a different color because they were giving me the deal of the century. I threw my hands up and decided to look at the other two "local-ish" dealers. Eastern Shore called me after I inquired on the price of a used electric blue corolla s, and my salesman set an appt to show me that car that afternoon. I was thrilled to see a HUGE dealership with a LARGE selection of new Toyotas when I pulled up and my car sitting up front with a reserved sign on it waiting for my test drive. My salesman Willis greeted me out front and without any hassle handed me the keys to take the car I was interested in for a spin. Financing wouldn't allow me to buy the used and get a good deal and while we sat at comfortable tables and sipped complimentary drinks while our daughter played pool with another little girl they worked a fabulous deal on a new toyota in the exact color I wanted. It was pulled up out front and ready for a test drive before I even missed out sales guy. Eastern Shore handled my customer service experience like pros, the car I bought is almost exactly what I went out looking for I wasn't shown 10 cars I didn't want, to get to it, and no one came around lying about giving me a no profit deal. If the service department is half as good as the sales department I'll continue to drive 50+ miles out of the way to deal with Eastern Shore instead of my local dealership. Thanks guys!

The service provided for our Toyota by this dealer has consistently been disappointing to say the least!!!From the oil change which took three visit to get right (1st attempt - put wrong type of oil in, 2nd attempt overfilled crankcase to the extent that shop foreman drained / changed himself for the 3rd time in the same day). Next had to contact Toyota's Regional Manager to force Eastern Shore's service manager to honor a battery warranty. The final straw came today when I took in the safety notice regarding the rear lower suspension arm recall we recently received. After presenting the letter to the service advisor, who acted as though he'd never heard of the issue though this is the third recall / fix Toyota has issued for the same defect in the last 3 -4 years, he left to consult with another individual. Upon his return he advised me that replacing the "spring leafs" would take 3 to 4 hours. The topper is... our car, a RAV 4, does not have "spring leaf" suspension... Confidence level ZERO... save yourself ... find another dealer!!!

.Arrived at dealership and the salesman was very nice and courteous.After the negotiations were done we went into finance.We felt during the finance process that if we didn't buy all the stuff offered we couldn't have the car and he told us if we bought the extras he would give us a better interest rate.Don't get thatThen when delivery of the car took place it was like here's your keys and books,thank you, and have a nice day that's how we feel.He did answer any questions we had but we felt he should have helped us set up the car,not all the options but at least showed us how to use some of the necessary ones.He did help us set up the phone after we asked him about it.This car has alot of things on it .Dissapointed in that a lot.Sales Manager day after offered for us to bring the car back to have some one help us but why wasn't it done at purchase.Guess that's what youtube is for now.Guess it's the new modern way of doing business.Thank goodness their service department is not that way.Dealt with them for 4 years now on a previous car and service has been 5 stars.Gotta say I was highly disappointed in the buying process.I just don't get it !!!I'd give service 5 stars, but up front it's sloppy Just my opinion maybe not everyone has had an experience like this.Buyers remorse after purchase, absolutely not at all.

Eddie Fagan Introduced me to Charles Roy Who is solely responsible for selling me this Beautiful Toyota tundra I had ordered with him. I'm not easy to sell anything to , I do a lot of research that most salesman don't have patience for. The first thing I look for at a dealership is first impressions of a honest salesman and no BS answers. Charles Roy is honest , completely straightforward , compassionate about selling me what I'm looking for .Charles is very knowledgeable of what he is selling but if he didn't have an answer he found it out immediately, I felt very comfortable and not pressured by this gentleman and will be back to buy from him again. I'm very impressed with the dealership and the professionalism I was treated with there , What a great organization and well-planned system, very clean, greeted at the front by an associate or by Charles when I had appointments with him . Charles also followed up by phone calls for a couple days after taking my truck home to make sure everything was going good and there was no problems, Nice touch ! Thank you Eastern Shore Toyota .

My wife and I paid cash for a new Toyota Highlander. Salesman and manager misrepresented final deal price. Even though cash was paid for car and a loan was never considered or applied for, dealership issued a falsified "Notice of Adverse Action" which stated that credit was denied or offered at lower terms. Salesman and management misrepresented that we had to sign a "credit application" so they could verify our personal check, but assured us that no credit application or transaction was actually occurring. Finance/Closing agent (Reyhan Sewer) was curt, dismissive and unhelpful. She insisted that we sign several inappropriate and inapplicable documents, some of which had to be modified or refused to sign completely. After transaction was complete, dealership, which had been paid $800.00 for "processing" negligently provided improper title documents for a "surety bond" title which had to be redone while we waited at the motor vehicle license office.

We were contacted by a sales agent, Arend Verdel, after we inquired on the internet about a used vehicle. We went in the next day, but arrived very late for our appointment. Arend greeted us and politely asked if Willis Barnes could show us the vehicle. Willis was very friendly, funny and professional.We loved the vehicle and the used car manager worked a great deal for us. He was very understanding about our budget and the fact I currently am being treated for breast cancer. Kyle Towner the finance manager made the financing process, quick and easy. He was very kind, thoughtful and explained all of our warranty options. We had a few minutes to wait for the vehicle to be cleaned and both sales agents sat down and visited with us and served us ice cream. It was an amazing experience! We are moving to the area in June and cannot wait to see everyone!

We live approximately 160 miles from Eastern Shore Toyota, we visited the dealership about a month before we purchased a car (we met Zachary Romero), both experiences were extremely pleasant. We did not feel pressured at all to buy anything. Our salesman Mario Marquez did everything we asked for and was very helpful. Due to our long commute our salesman took pictures of the cars we were looking at and sent them to us very quickly so we could see the cars better and make up our mind if we wanted to look at the cars in person, so that we did not drive a long way for no reason. While we were on our way to the dealership the manager Jeff Iwanowski called to greet us and check on us before we ever got to the dealership, he also checked on us while we were at the dealership to see if he could do anything for us.Thank you to Zachary Romero who helped us via phone even though he was not working the day of our purchase.

On our way home from vacation, we make a quick stop to check out new Toyotas and had the most welcoming, delightful, informative experience with Debbie and Justin making us feel at home, answering our numerous questions and showing us hands on the many features of Toyota Camry XLE which were new to us. We were so impressed after driving the car and sitting and discussing the car features with Debbie that we bought the car and drove it home. The process was so pleasant, things were handled quickly and even the waiting time was pleasantly passed with refreshments and great conversation with Debbie which made the time pass quickly. I had had one hiccup with Eastern Shore Toyota several years back, but I saw a used vehicle that I was interested in at their dealership and went to look. I figured that I would look and leave but drove the vehicle and decided to make an offer pending an inspection by my mechanic. My offer was accepted and I went the next day, got the vehicle to take to my local mechanic. The car was as they said it was and I purchased the vehicle using my own financing. I will say that their dealer fee of $800 is completely out of line, but I knew that before I made the offer and make the offer price accordingly. I declined the extended warranty, paint protection, free gumballs for life, ect, ect. I am pleased with the deal and more importantly by Willis Barnes and his sales manager. I know this dealer gets a lot of negatives, but I will do business here in the future. As a plus, the dealership building is very nice and interesting.

Was told the repair on my car would take 2 days. The afternoon of the third full day was told that mechanic was staying over late to finish so it would be ready the next morning. Called this am ( 4th day), and was told by someone from service scheduling that it wasn't ready and that she would find someone in the service dept to pull the ticket and check with the mechanic on status of my repair. After 14 minutes she came back on the phone and asked if they could call me back. I asked to speak to the service manager. She transferred and phone rang 9 times . No voicemail. Phone automatically hung up. 15 minutes later I called back. Got the same girl. Finally talked to someone in the service dept who said they are about to drive the car 15 miles to check it out and if ok then I can pick it up. This repair was for excessive oil consumption and covered under the warranty enhancement by the manufacturer due to defect. The manufacturer approved 2 day rental car coverage which leads me to believe that they expect it can be done in 2 days. It is now 1130 of the 4th day and still waiting!!!

Had a scheduled service appointment and when I arrived I had to go looking for someone to start the process. The time required was extended due to a GPS issue they did work to resolve, not sure it is corrected as I haven't used the GPS since. Throughout the 3 hour wait, no one came to advise me of the status of the work, until I finally had to go ask about the car -- 3 times I had to go ask until I finally got an answer. I was told that the tires were at minimum tread wear and that I should consider replacing on the next visit, however the tire tread wear bars are still below the top of the tire treads! Finally, I'm tired of being bugged with telephone calls and e-mails wanting me to come trade my van on a new van!

When I arrived, I wasn't acknowledged in a timely manner. The time I waited for my car to be serviced (normal maintenance, nothing crazy) was over 2 hours and I was told on the phone it'd be 30 min - 1 hour. Luckily, the day before my appointment I was able to re-schedule for an earlier time because I had my uncle's funeral to go to the same day as my service. I'm so glad I got an earlier time or I would've been late for his service because they took so long. I was also told that I needed to have something done on my car that no one I've talked to has ever heard of, so that was strange. My husband and I won't be bringing our car back to have our car serviced here.

We received a phone call on 2/26/16 from Brandon stating they were looking for a car like ours he asked us to stop in he had a deal of a life time. On 2/27/2016 We took are care in for service this is were it began, upon arrival we were offered coffee. Although Brandon was busy with another customer,he came and greeted us and assured us we would be taken care of he sent Zachary Broz to help us remind you we were not by far the easiest people to deal with are credit is less then perfect and are full of questions. Zachary was ever so Patient with us maybe us feel as if he was there to put us in a car in what ever way possbile. He takes are application and with the help of Jefferey was able to the car 2016 at a low rate and were very honest from the start! While Zachary was away tending to processing the application Justin and Brandon both came by checking with us and assured us everything would be taken care of! Today we are the proud owners of a new 2016 Toyota Corolla with only 13 miles driving off the lot!!! Brandon Farmer and Zachary Broz gave us a deal of our life!! With the help of finance manager Chistphor Gummere he brought down our interest percent and lower the payment A huge Thank you to Brandon and Zachary for working so Diligently To make us happy and show us no maker the amount of money in our pocket that we are human too . Yesterday we bought our second Toyota vehicle from Eastern Shore Toyota.We were impressed with our salesman Emilar Rosenbohm. He quickly established from us our price range and colors of the used Camry we were looking for. His diligence and vigilance of what comes onto the lot quickly brought to us a one-owner car that had come to the lot only the day before. He quickly showed us three cars as we drove around in the first one we liked. With the Finance departments help he helped us get a great deal on a car that would likely sell in a short time. Although the car hadn't been inspected yet for sale, the VIP department expedited an 160 point inspection, and detailed the car for us. The VIP staff came to us while we were waiting (Mr. Fagan) and congratulated us on the purchase of our new car. Another staff member confirmed to us what we had already seen in the car fax: that he knew the previous owner and that the car was well taken care of. Chris (finance) quickly presented us our options for purchase of extended warranties or service plans and closed us out quickly. Although we were on location for longer than we would have liked, we were served lunch while we waited. I think that everyone worked well together to see that we got out of there as timely as possible. I don't remember the name of the man who detailed the car or who serviced our car. Emilar gave us a new set of interior mat and some touch-up paint. When we got back to Pensacola, we realized that we didn't get a temporary tag. We weren't able to get through on the phone. We're thankful and appreciative for all the staff at Eastern Shore Toyota for all of their friendly service efforts on Saturday! Thanks for make it easy for us! We were greeted with a smile and an introductions and asked if we could be helped. We told the salesperson that we were interested in looking for a new Prius and asked if we could see and drive one. Mr. Harris was very accommodating and answered all of our questions. We drove the car and sat with him as he explained the offer. We asked that our current car be evaluated for possible trade in which was done. We then worked out a deal which was acceptable to us. Mr. Harris was always pleasant and cooperative.

My wife has been looking for several months for a used 2013 RX 350 and fell in love with one at Eastern Shore Toyota. After reading several very negative reviews about the dealership, I was reluctant to do business with them. I prepared myself to do battle and went on over. My wife was already there, had driven the car and was working with Eric Adamson with the understanding that the deal was off unless the RX passed my inspection. Expecting a lot of high pressure, I was surprised when Eric sent us off to drive as long as you like and went back inside. The car checked out fine, so we went back in to talk price where again I thought the trouble would start. We were looking to save every dollar possible so at one point the used car manager Quinten Jackson got involved. Mr Jackson was a little more intense than Eric, but the negotiations were very respectful at all times. In the end I think we got a fair deal, and Eric took a lot of time after the sale to explain the features of the RX when he could have just handed us the keys and moved on to the next customer. We did not use their financing and have not used the service dept. so I cant speak to that, but I would highly recommend Mr. Eric Adamson to anyone in the market for a car.

Scheduled the diagnostic test for my 2007 Toyota sienna minivan was told the computers were down so they were not able to give me a print off of the results but that my airbag needed to be replaced in the passenger side and that it would be $1100 when I inquired again about getting paperwork they said once again they were not able to provide it being frustrated at this point I contacted the manager he said he would investigate and contact me back which he did not he had same representative I was dealing with contact me back and tell me that they had moved some numbers around and couldt get me out the door for 698 but they were not able to provide me with the codes for the diagnostic test as a result of the computer issues this did not sound right to me I was infuriated and asked for the manager to call me back with a refund once again I heard nothing from the manager so I brought my vehicle somewhere else to have it looked at it was a loose wire under the passenger seat which after further investigation I found to be under an open warranty through Toyota I guess it's because I'm a woman and I went in there with two small children they thought they could just tell me anything and I would not no better I will never go back to this dealership again and I am calling corporate and the Better Business Bureau

I went in yesterday to look at the new 2016 Tacoma. I was helped by a young man named Eric Adamson. He was extremely knowledgeable on the truck. They didn't have exactly what I was intrested in at the moment and I had told him I was only thinking about a purchase and not sure if I would buy one at this time. He then offered to let me test drive one of the trucks just to see if I would like it and explained its features along with other features that were available should I want them. My experience was no pressure at all and just a helpful young man that would appreciate me thinking of him should I decide to purchase one. I've bought a lot of vehicles over the years and had my share of frustrations along with them but this young man is a class act. I would recommend you ask for him.

Eastern Shore Toyota is not an ethical dealership and will charge you for services not needed and inflate prices. Will charge for a diagnostic without inspecting the parts - at my service date of 10/9/15, they said I had to replace the entire headlight, but when I checked the casing the after the diagnostic - dirty with no fingerprints. They didn't even look at it! Turns out only the bulb needed to be replaced. I was told the entire headlight needed to be replaced for a cost of $729.06. The mark-up for that headlamp part is 244%! The driver washer for my wiper would be $55.00. A host of other services were recommended, including an inverter flush for $279.00, a service which is not even necessary unless there are issues (which there are not with my car). Even the water pump was suggested to be replaced, which is ridiculous since it should have been replaced in the safety recall C0U in 2012 (prior to my purchase). Would it really need replacing after three years? Will take advantage of people who aren't completely well-versed in auto mechanics. Do not allow your friends and family to have their car serviced here if they aren't savvy. I had to learn the hard way, but you don't have to!

I would like to start by saying that the concept of a lifetime warranty is great and handleing a lot of the financing ahead of time was great so I purchased a 2014 Hyundai Elantra Limited 7/31/15 at the end of the day. Well when we got home we noticed some missing items. We contacted our salesman and informed him of the issues and we we're assured it would be taken care of months later situation has not changed. Is a key fob that important I guess no one will ever know until your 4year almost gets hit by a vehicle because your hands were full and you have to let go of everything to manually unlock the door from one side only to enter the vehicle and a car enters an adjacent space but doesn't see him. Hate the place because of Mr. Farmer and his lies....... Great Salesman Though he fooled me.

My part on my SUV fell off in their car wash and they didn't bother to tell me. When I noticed it fell off I called their service department. The first service guy I spoke with (forgot to get his name) said they would send me a replacement part. I waited a few weeks and nothing showed up. I called back and left 7 voice messages for the service manager Vicki Bodet over several days. She FINALLY returned my call and she said that nothing was reported to her of my situation and a part was never mailed out to me. She assured me that she would be mailing out a part to me. I waited 2 more weeks again and still nothing. I called again and played the message game going back and forth. I decided not to play this game anymore after leaving several more messages so I called service and spoke to a gentleman named Ryan. He kind of knew what was going on but heard it was resolved a few weeks ago. I told him no, this issue is not resolved. He looked into this issue and called me back and said that he would mail out the part himself. He said that Vicki apparently asked him to take care of this but he did not remember her asking him to do this.After a day went by I received my part! I have had some service work done there in the past (service, repairs, maintenance, etc...) and I have had some sort of issues every time. Nothing has gone smooth with any visit there. Now I have to drive 50 miles to the next closest Toyota dealership for anything related to my Toyota but it is worth it to avoid trouble of Eastern Shore Toyota.Beware!

I scheduled an appointment on Monday to take my mother's 2006 Tacoma in for service with the service manager. Was told the service could be done that day - I left the truck and my number with Benjamin. (Problems when I left the truck: Needed service for 3 recalls, the check engine light and the air bag light was on) The service center closes at 6:00 PM. No one called to say the truck was ready, so I called to see if I could pick it up on Tuesday. Was told that would be fine. I inconvenienced someone to come get me to go pick up the truck on Tuesday AM. Called to let the service department know I was coming to get the truck and they informed me it was not out of service. When I asked why, the young lady said she did not know so I asked to speak to Benjamin and learned he was off that day. I asked for the service manager who was unavailable, so I left a message. Waited 2 hours (with someone waiting with me to take me to get the truck) - no return call so I called back. Some guy took my call and said Benjamin was there. He said the truck was being "worked in" since I did not have an appointment, which I did have on Monday - he also said the tail light on one side needed to be replaced along with a light kit for the tag. Said the truck should be ready Tuesday afternoon, if they had the lights. Afternoon arrives, no call so I called back - truck not ready. Said it would be ready sometime on Wednesday. I informed Benjamin my mother is ill and we had an appointment with the cancer center Wednesday afternoon and I could pick it up afterwards. Also spoke with the service manager too and was told I could get the truck Wednesday afternoon - I asked to please let me know if there was anything wrong with the truck. After MD appointment with mother on Wednesday called to see if I could come get the truck - it is still not ready. Will be Thursday. Was told it needed new tires, which I agreed to have put on the truck. Was told the check engine light was a sensor that had to be plugged in, the air bag light was fixed with one of the recalls and the wait was getting one of the light assembly kits. I could get the truck on Thursday. Thursday comes - again no communication until I start calling to find out when I can get it. Guess what? Truck not ready. Called Friday mid-day and truck still not ready. Received call from Benjamin who finally said truck is ready Friday at 3:30-4:00. I had someone take me to the dealership and drop me off (my bad) I went to pay for the service, and guess what, truck is not ready!! Benjamin said the check engine light came back on and it had to be checked. After waiting an hour or so, he brought out a man from service to talk to me who said there was a new problem with the truck - that it needed a secondary air pump and valve replaced. I was frustrated and just wanted to take the truck and leave but learned I can't drive it!! When I drove it in, it was fine - it spent 5 days for minor repairs and now it can't be driven. Parts quoted to fix the pump and valve at $1,704 without labor. Called another nearby dealership - same parts are $1,416. Not sure what to do at this point, but feel they intentionally damaged mom's truck. This is the last visit to this dealership and I highly WARN you, if you are reading this - go somewhere, anywhere else. Also read other sites too. This may be the "Eastern Shore" but you will most likely regret ever setting foot on this dealership lot.

I purchase a 2014 car in October 2013 from Southeast Toyota. I came back March 2015 to see what my trade in value would be if I purchased a more comfortable car with lower car payments. I spoke with a sales rep and the manager before I came in discussing my situation. I told them both I live 90 minutes away when I get there I do not want to sit and talk as I had to before. I told them I would not make a decision that day and that I plan on coming in this weekend and next weekend. (Last time I purchased same day). I wanted to get as much done before I came in so I would not waste my time. I told them both my car payment is $476 and I want to trade in and lower my payments. When I arrived I was greeted and then they sat me down. The sales rep was new to the company so I did not want to be rude. He asked me all the same questions that I typed in an email sent to him and the manager, Shawn Esfahani Jr. Not to mention I also told them all these questions over the phone. This was a waste of my time. Then we finally went out and looked at cars. At this point I did not know what my trade in value was so I trusted that they were showing me cars that would lower my payments. After 2 hours of driving different cars I come back into lobby and Shawn comes out with an estimated cost on a car I liked from the lot. They were only giving me 14,000 for a trade-in value and my payment would be $630 per month. First of all 14,000 for an immaculate 2014 Scion TC 10 Series was ridiculous. Second, thats $154 more than my current payment. They obviously have not been listening to what I WANT! I am still patient at this point and we go back out looking at other cars in the proper price range. That takes another hour. I pick three different cars. Shawn then brings out a trade in value of 15,000 if I purchase a new camry. I tell him no, that will leave me in the same situation I am now. As Shawn is figuring the numbers I am looking on Cars guru.com . I find the car I liked on the lot that reads 19,779 on windshield (supposedly the lowest price) but its $16,868 online that reads Internet Price. I tell my sales rep can you show Shawn this because this is the car I want and it will help my payments go down with the trade in. Shawn kept figuring up other cars and would not figure up the numbers for that car. Shawn finally called me into the finance area and was running numbers. He kept saying, only 10 more minutes which turned into another hour. He said have Matt show you the new camrys and I can give you a deal. I do what I was told and go look at new camrys. I do not like any of the colors they have available. I got back in again to talk with Shawn. My mom is exhausted and at this point its been 4.5 hours that we have been at the dealership. I go in the office with Shawn and show him my phone on cars guru.com the selling price of the car I want is lower. He says oh someone is going to get fired, this car is listed wrong. Then he says to his co worker I see why she wants this car. He tells me okay I will honor that price for you if you buy today. I told them Thank you for your time but my mom needs something to eat and I told you I did not want to purchase today. I told them it has taken us 5 hours to get somewhere and it will take another hour or more to finish the process of purchasing. I explained that I could come back tomorrow. I never got one email, one thank you call, nothing. I called the next morning, Shawn nor my sales rep were working that day. I called my sale rep and told him to have Sean call me on Monday. I never heard a word from either. By Monday afternoon I had gone to three different banks to get the best loan rate. I was approved and it was going to help me from being upside down. I called in to speak with Shawn, could not get him on the phone so I had to speak with another sales rep. I told the second sales rep that I was planning on coming in to purchase the car. I told him to get with Shawn to send me over a purchase order for my bank. Shawn said he will honor the online price but will only give me 13,000 for my trade in now. I was infuriated. He said he would have given me the 15,000 trade in if I purchased that day. Do you call this good customer service? What good is it to me if I get a good deal on a car but my trade in value gets decreased by $2,000 not top mention I purchased it brand new from them. Eastern Shore Toyota is only concerned about themselves not the customers wants or needs. As I told them in the beginning: I purchased a brand new car from them in 2013 and I want to be a loyal customer and to purchase another car with the same company. I guess that doesnt matter to Eastern Shore Toyota. I have documentation of all this as well from emails, to printout with trade in value and screen shot of the Camry listed below price.

I entered the dealership to buy a Prius. I drove one and loved it. Then I asked my sales rep, CHARLIE Cousins, about the Prius C, which had just been announced. HE PROCEEDED TO LIE TO ME, telling me that the Prius C wouldn't be available in ALABAMA for over two years. Turns out they were available in just a few months. He did this to entice me to buy a full size Prius (LIE #1)In the negotiations for the full size Prius, I inquired and was told by CHARLIE COUSINS that the only prerequisite for maintaining the lifetime warranty was to perform the prescribed oil changes--! So I proceeded to the CLOSING ROOM and the lady there informed me that the information provided by Charlie Cousins was INCORRECT. (LIE #2)So I cancelled the deal, walked out of the dealership, walked over to Honda and bought a Civic--which is a great car. Until this event, I had driven Toyotas exclusively since 1974!I will never buy anything that Charlie Cousins sells! And now that I have a Honda, I am even more satisfied with it than with a Toyota.

We were at this dealership for 4 hours talking financing. Got to financing and signed papers. The finance guy then says bring back a check for the amount of the car. We were like, :What?" They never told us we were going to get our own financing. I asked what happens to our $8000 down payment if we cant get financed on our own. We were told they would just give us the check back and there would be no deal. Well, I did NOT take the car with me because I have never seen such a deal. So I left it there.Well, they lied. Financing fell through. The dealership did offer us financing and after some thought I found a way to make the deal work, so I drove back up there. When I walked in the door. the salesmen (Cody Hitchcock) threw the keys to the car into my body and the backup contract I signed (which was ridiculously inflated) and said thanks for buying the car. What they did was lied to me to get me back in so they could do that.I didnt drive the trade up there. They would have had to report my car stolen and have me put in jail just to sell one car, and they were willing to do it. So, I was forced to buy a car from them.Be very careful with these guys.! They did this looking my wife and two sons in the eye. They are heartless.

I bought a used 2010 Toyota Tacoma pre-runner from them in 2011, I paid the extra money for the extended warranty and the so called life time warranty. I never filed a claim against the warranty and always brought my truck into the dealership for oil changes and all the other maintenance they told me I needed. I brought my truck in to them about two weeks ago for a front end brake job, yesterday I started hearing a clicking noise in the front passenger side whenever I had applied the brakes and let off to accelerate. I brought the truck in to service this morning and now I am told that the drive shaft has to be replaced. When I asked about the warranty, I was told that that my extended warranty had already expired and the lifetime warranty will not cover it because I had only gotten 14 oil changes instead of the 16 oil changes I should have received! My truck has only 125000 miles on it and it needs the drive shaft has to be replaced?? Whatever happened to quality vehicles? I will never buy another vehicle from this dealership again and will make sure everyone on face book hears about this experience. I have never even filed a claim against the extended warranty.

My 2012 Toyota Highlander's lease was expiring and I decided to purchase the car. I went back to the dealer where I bought the vehicle to see what my options were. I met with Shetara and she explained the process to me. She was very knowledgable, courteous and professional. The whole experience was smooth and pleasant. This was so different from past experiences at other dealerships.I would recommend Eastern Shore Toyota to all of my friends and family.

Was referred to go to this dealership because I was looking for a Rav 4 used and they had one, so I went and was not thrilled with the vehicle enough to purchase. They also took my trade in vehicle way in the back out of my site and I was not told about that process, which I find unusual. I was a little freaked out by that because they could do something bad to my vehicle when putting it up on the rack.One of The Mangers, Shawn which happens to be the Owners son had suggested a new vehicle instead if he could get the price right for me and I said ok, so I test drove the vehicle and liked it very much. The price that I was offered with my trade was very fair but was just a little off in the extra amount I wanted to pay out. So, I left with the invoice that he provided with the price on it so that I could research the vehicle and prices more and then the salesman texted me the next day and said they would take another $500 off the price if I could come get it that night and it was already after 6:00 PM and I could not go at that time. The next day I texted Shawn and asked if they would still honor the vehicle invoice price and was then told "no" and that I should have taken it when it was offered..AND EVEN TOLD ME THAT HE DIDN'T WANT ME AS A CUSTOMER!! The Owners Own SON!!I'm sorry but that is just no way to do business to treat customers in that way and I would not recommend this dealership for anything.. HORRIBLE!

My sales consulant Shetara Lee, was very professional, patient, trustworthy and knowledgeable. She new everything about the car I was interested in. She also gave me a great deal on my car even my credit union said that they could not believe how great of a deal I was getting on my 2012 Camry. She went over and beyond my expectations on how the transactions went. When purchasing a car, I have always had bad experiences, but this one was just EXCEPTIONAL. I have and will remind her to all my co workers and my husband's coworkers. I've had 2 experiences with Eastern Shore Toyota this year. I purchased a 2013 Prius in April and was very happy with the 2 sales people that helped me, David & Stacey. So pleased in fact that I brought my mother back a couple of months later to purchase a car. That experience was not as pleasant. My mother also purchased a Prius and the prior owner had not returned the 2nd key. We were told by another salesperson who was helping us with the sale that it would not be a problem getting the key and mailing it to my mother. Needless to say it took me almost 3 months to get a key and to finally get on I had to get unnessarily aggressive. I will say that my saleperson David was the reason I finally got a key. The other person who worked the deal with him never took the time to return any of my calls. Also was promised a $100 referral fee for bringing my mother in to purchase a vehicle. Well, I'm still waiting on that promise but I do however get several emails giving me the opportunity to get a referral fee for anyone I send in that buys a car. Don't think I'll drink that koolaid again and believe that promise. On a good note, I do love my Prius - my next one will be from another dealership.

My wife and I brought our 2012 4runner in for a warranty rearend noise. After the dealership had our vehicle for six hours with no phone call on the status, we called and was informed that no problem was found. We went up there to show them the issue and to pick up the truck. I described the noise to Vicki and the tech. The tech then placed the truck on the lift and ran the truck in 4wheel drive. I informed him that you should not do that because it will make the skid controll system malfunction. He then pulled the truck out and asked us to ride in the back seat on a test drive to show him the noise. while on the test drive i verified the obvious noise to him and also pointed out that the skid controll malfunction light was on. He admitted that it was on because of him driving it in 4wheel drive on the lift. After the test drive he asked us to sit in the waiting room while he checked the rearend. After about 20 minutes Vicki and the tech returned and expressed that in their opinion there was no issue. I told them that The noise was a huge inconvence because of the high pitched noise. After a few minutes of arguing we realise that we were getting no where with them so we asked for our truck so we could leave. They pulled the truck out, left the keys in it and locked the doors behind us. After we left my wife informed me that the skid controll malfunction light was still on. A couple days later my wife was in Mobile so she stoped by Springhill toyota to have them reset the skid control malfunction light because she did not trust Eastern shore Toyota anymore. Springhill had to reset the SAI because of what Eastern Shore Toyota did. We were charged $54.95 to reset the light. We called and talked to Vicki about it and she said she would reimburse us within a week. well after the first week went by we called her with no answer or return of our message. My wife finally had to drive to the dealership. She found Vicki and asked about the refund. Vicki informed her that it was in the mail. Well its been over a month and no check. We nor our family will EVER purchase a vehicle or have work performed there.

From day one, this was the worst car buying experience I have ever had. In addition, we were lied to regarding features in the car. When we took the car in for service, there were additional fees that were not disclosed previously. We were also lied to about the warranty on the battery. We were promised a 10 year warranty on the hybrid battery. Toyota only provides an 8 year OR 100,000 mile warranty. Not surprisingly, the battery died at 145,000 miles and we are on the hood for thousands of dollars in repairs. The response from Eastern Shore Toyota: So sorry, not our problem.

I stopped at Eastern Shore Toyota to do a test drive and research the Priusv and the Rav 4. I planned on buying a new vehicle at the end of the year and Stacy Conley was the Sales rep that gave me the over view of the cars. He was very through and frank with his explanations and candid when he answered my many questions. He very quickly picked up on my objectives and knew I was in no hurry to purchase. Imagine my surprise when he called me two days later with an opportunity I could not afford to pass up. I drove away in a 2012 Prius V at the right price with a no pressure approach to my purchase. I couldnt be more pleased with my experience. The only disappointment with EST was the fact they were not a certified seller for USAA. Had they been, I could have saved with a discount on my auto loan when I financed a new or used car with USAA.

Recently had an emissions issue serviced on my 07 Tundra and as usual Nate did an excellent job of seeing that the repair was completed and kept me informed of the progress. I do my regular oil changes at Eastern Shore Toyota on my 07 Tundra and my 10 4Runner and have always had good experiences. Eastern Shore has a fantastic facility and there follow up with customers is impressive. Highly recommend Nate and Eastern Shore Toyota Dealership.

I bought a brand new 4 - runner and brought it in for it's 1st service and had the oil changed which I paid extra for since Toyota doesn't cover oil change at 5,000 miles. I left and headed to Louisiana when I got to my hotel I noticed what I thought was water under my vehicle. The next ,morning I walked out and notice oil under my vehicle. and a oil mist all over the back. When I looked under the vehicle oil was on everything. I then checked the oil level and it didn't read on the dip stick. I called my sells man and he said the service manager would call me. The service dept. called and said they could have it towed to a shop. I am out of town and late for a meeting I said I would get some oil from down the road and drop it off at the shop were I was heading which was only about 5 miles away. So I walked and got some oil to get it back on the dip stick and dropped it off while I went to the meeting Firestone looked at. They told me the gasket was missing on the oil filter and said I had gotten 3 quarts low. I had to pay for that, spent hours and many quarters cleaning under my vehicle. To this date more then 2 weeks later no one has called to see if my engine has blown up or if I was stranded. I called Toyota and filed a complaint which was suppose also go to the dealer and still never heard anything from the dealer. Once they sell you a vehicle pray you don't need there help.Not sure who I talked to on the phone just know it was a lady and I have to pick someoneThank YouScott Christenson

On June 3, 2014 I came to Eastern Shore Toyota to pick up an item that my son had ordered for his Toyota Tacoma truck. Someone was at the entrance to direct me to the parts department . The lady at that desk promptly retrieved the part and escorted me to the payment department. I paid for the part with a credit card and was asked to show my drivers license for which I thanked the employee for asking. I knew I was dealing with a special company at that time! I told the employee that my front tire on my Saturn appeared low and could I get some air put in it for which I would gladly pay. She told me to pull in the service area. I did, and was promptly greeted by a very nice young man. He took my information about myself and my car and sent it to be checked. He kept me abreast about what they were doing and how much longer it would take. After about 20 minutes he informed me the tires had no nails and just needed air and that there would be no charge for the service! When I got to my car, it had also been washed!!! What a pleasant surprise. I am very impressed with your business and have told many people about my experience with Eastern Shore Toyota. Know that this Senior Citizen will always remember the kindness and thoughtfulness your employees displayed! My next car may just have to be one of your Toyotas! Thank you! I've been trying for 21/2 weeks to get my RAV4 scheduled for service to repair the rear suspension (a Toyota Safety Recall). When I called to schedule I was told that only service reps can schedule that service. I was forwarded to their service desk and reached their voice mail. I left a message for them to call me. After waiting one week I tried again, same result. Waited one more week. This time I asked to talk to the service manager and got forwarded to her voice mail. I left a message. Days later, still no call. I decided to send an email to the service manager through the company's own website. It's been two days and still nothing. Wow, I don't even know what to say about this. For the record, we bought a new car from this company back in '09. And we've taken both of our Toyotas to them for service over the years with very mixed results. Just remember, getting your car washed after servicing and having free coffee while you're waiting doesn't mean the job was done right.

In September, 2012, my husband and I visited Eastern Shore Toyota to purchase a car for my daughter, whose vehicle had been totaled. We wound up buying two cars that day, both of which were financed solely in my husband's name. Because he was a truck driver (one of the 10 most dangerous jobs) we SPECIFICALLY requested credit life insurance be added to both vehicle's financing. My husband assumed this was part of the financing package when he signed the papers. My husband died of an illness on March 14, 2014. UNFORTUNATELY, CREDIT LIFE WAS NOT PURCHASED FOR EITHER OF THE LOANS, IN SPITE OF OUR REQUEST FOR SAME. Now, instead of being a widow with three paid off automobiles, I am now a widow with two car payments. I contacted the dealership and was put in contact with my salesperson, Brandon Farmer (a great guy), who told me he would have the general manager, JOHN ST. GEORGE, call me back that night. JOHN ST. GEORGE DID NOT CALL BACK. I attempted to call Mr. St. George seven times in the ensuing days, but my calls were never returned. All I wanted to do was ask him to speak to his financing folks at their next meeting and advise them to be more careful about following their client's instructions with regard to credit life insurance. Now, I may file a lawsuit against the dealership for my losses, just because of the way I have been treated, even though my only witness is DEAD. Yesterday, I returned one of the vehicles for voluntary repossession, on the advice of the bank who provided the financing. The people at the front desk did not want to accept it, because they were not "managers." I told them, "I don't care who you are, the car is now yours" and left. LIKE I WAS GOING TO WAIT AROUND FOR A MANAGER WHO COULD NOT BE BOTHERED TO CALL ME BACK??? Hopefully Shawn Esfahani will see this and fire John St. George. He should. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP AGAIN, AND WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND AGAINST USING THEM.

2009 Corolla brought in for 90,000 mile checkup and oil change. First thing out of the can was I needed a new timing belt and my water pump needed to be replaced as it was seeping water. Also the usual filters and wipers were recommended for changing. Well, I'm here to tell you that one of the selling points for that vehicle was that it has no timing belt so I immediately knew he either did not know what he was talking about or he had been misinformed. He also gave me a quote on the bad water pump of $460.00. I advised him to just do the oil change and I would take care of the rest. When I returned home, I immediately placed a length of cardboard underneath the car and let it run for 30 minutes, accelerating every so often. No leakage whatsoever. I checked radiator level and reservoir and saw no loss of fluid. I took it to a mechanic friend who looked at it and informed me he could not find anything wrong with it. I contacted the service manager and she advised me that yes, the adviser was wrong about the timing belt and that if I brought the car back in, she would check the water pump herself. I advised it had been checked already and that dealership will not see my car again. I can only say there are customers who want to trust these dealerships as we are suppose to be bargaining in good faith and count on them for their guidance. I find it outlandish that this situation could occur. This appears to be the extent of where this can go, but I can assure you if the Eastern Shore Toyota owner can be contacted about this situation, he will be notified. Also, I feel for those that trust their service advisers and are scammed out of hundreds (maybe thousands) of dollars. My advice is, if the car was running when you drove in, take the time and get a second opinion from a reputable mechanic. As for my rating of Eastern Shore Toyota, they seem to be nice enough and that's why they got a 4 out of 5. You should be able to figure out why I rated the rest the way I did.. If not, you need to go there and figure it out for yourself.

We have bought 3 cars in the last 3 years from this Toyota dealership. We received a flyer promoting their sale with a contest attached.There was a scratch-off involved. I scratched off and had 3 silver cars and it said congratulations you are a winner. I usually throw these things away and never read them but thought I would take a chance on this one since it stated you could win a new 2014 Camry or 25000.I called the number to verify my number and was told my prize was reserved and be sure to bring a picture ID and the flyer. We went over there and they immediantly begin there sales pitch and I told them I was not buying a new car. He kept on trying to get information on my car that I am driving now. I told him again that I was not buying a new car or any kind of car and showed him the winning number. He took my flyer to the back to check on it. He came back a few minutes later with another scratch off and a key that I was supposed to use to scratch off the ticket and informed me that I did not qualify. They also kept the flyer. We ask for the flyer and was told we could not have it. I told him I did not want the scratch off. He said he had a gift card and I would not take it but my husband did. It was a walmart gift card for a pitiful amount of 5.00. Needless to say as we were leaving I informed him that when I do get ready to buy another car I will go down the road to the Ford Dealer. The next flyer I receive they are going to get it back in little bitty pieces.

When I went to test drive a used car, the tire pressure light came on. The salesman said that it could be repaired, but when we began to talk about price he basically said there was no room for negotiation because they were doing me a HUGE favor by repairing a light that shouldn't have been on in the first place.Since I basically needed a car that day, I made the mistake of purchasing the car anyway. As I was driving back home on the interstate, the light came back on. Since they had already closed I did not turn around. The next day I called and informed them that the light had come back on. They could not be bothered. They basically told me to have it repaired on my own.Also, their dealership fees are over 800 dollars. Dealership fees in MS or LA are usually half that.

I dealt with Brandon much over the phone, attempting to figure the majority of things out before I ever stepped foot in the dealership to purchase my car. The morning I went to purchase my car, Brandon was off. (Which was no problem). I began to talk to another salesperson and was having trouble with them as they were not aware of any deals that I had worked out with Brandon, and it became extremely frustrating. I text Brandon and told him what was going on, and he got dressed on his off day to come to work and help me, making the process a great experience and run a lot smoother. He was a great salesman and I would recommend him to anyone.However, I purchased my 2014 Scion tC from them just yesterday, Woke up this morning, and a service light was on in my brand new car that hadn't even been in my possession 24 hours. I am frustrated because now I have to waste time out of my weekend to get a brand new car looked at, and use my gas to go from Saraland to Spanish fort (a trip that I shouldn't even be having to make)I am going to see how customer service reacts to this situation, and this will ultimately decide if I will buy from here again.HOWEVER, BRANDON FARMER is a great guy, and I truly believe he looks out for the customers best interest.

He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and did not hesitate to quickly research and provide answers to some things he understandably may have not known. He even brought out a mechanic who personally came and spoke with me to assure me that the vehicle was in perfect condition. Lastly, he pulled the vehicle to the front of the dealership so we wouldn't have to walk around searching for it which was a big deal because trust me it was scorching hot. I went to Eastern Shore Toyota to buy a new Prius. Stacey Conley listened to what I wanted, then explained all the options available. He then took me and a friend who was with me to look at the cars that fell into what I wanted. He was very knowledgeable about all the Toyota Priuses that we stopped to look at and patiently showed the feature of each car. I appreciated that he listened to what I wanted and knew what was available. He was wonderful to work with on this purchase. While there, I lost my glasses. I can not read anything without them. Everyone was so helpful in looking for them both inside the showroom and outside on the lot. Unfortunately they had been run over - my friend actually found them on the lot near the first car we had stopped to look at. The lenses had popped out of the frame and were scratched. One ear piece had broken off. Shetara Lee, another sales consultant who was helping us look outside was able to fit the lens back into the frame so that I could hold them and be able to read and see to sign the papers for the purchase.

I love looking for a new car. I stopped by Eastern Shore Toyota just to see what they had. Then I met Eddie Fagan he made my experience at that particular Toyota dealership one that I will never forget. He was kind, considerate , knowledgeable, and went above and beyond the call of duty to help me. Now all I have to do is convince my husband that we can afford it. I have been to many dealerships however I have never seen the customer service determination that I saw on Mr. Eddie Fagan. When I buy a new car I will be returning to Eastern Shores Toyota and I will be expecting Eddie to help me complete the process.

This will be the second purchase from Eastern Shore Toyota, that is not to say we did not try other Toyota dealerships in Mississippi where we live. We shopped for best deal on Toyota Truck and trade in of a Ford truck. We could not beat the deal we got with Eastern Shore Toyota, Brandon was great in meeting our needs and the staff was great as well. Would recommend Eastern Shore Toyota every time now and worth the drive!

The entire staff was very kind and professional at Eastern Shore Toyota, I had the opportunity to get to work with Marcus Gulley who took really good care of me. Marcus ensured I was completely happy with the vehicle he found that would work for me, then proceeded immediately at making sure the vehicle was ready for test drive. Last we worked on numbers, the most crucial part of making sure that the customer and the sales department are on the same page. We worked for hours on a plan to get me in this particular truck and at payments i could afford since i had just taken a turn in my life with my financial situation. Marcus went out of his way to make me comfortable knowing the time i had spent at the dealership, he even went out of his way to locate a charger due to my cell phone battery dying and I needing this at the time to stay in touch with my family. He remained professional and yet shared stories with me as we awaited management decisions and paperwork coming together. He made my experience enjoyable, knowing sometimes this can be a difficult decision making for most people stressed about money and change. I didnt have to have a new vehicle at this point in time but I was on a mission to get a truck, and he helped me get it! I would reccommend this place to anyone and everyone looking to be able to walk in a dealership and be treated with respect and like family. Thanks Marcus!!!!

We drove into Daphe, Alabama to Eastern Shore Toyota, prior to talking to Mr. James Stacey Conley via telephone. Mr. Conley, accommodated us with a nights stay, and dinner. We looked over the Toyota lot and was allowed to drive the cars we were interested in. Mr. Conley, went above and beyond to make our experience smooth and to not feel pressured. I'm VERY skeptical of car dealerships - we all know the stereotypes. Eastern Shore Toyota is a total exception. I bought a 2004 Camry LE from a lovely gentleman named Justin Stanton. After negotiation, I was given a bottom-line, drive-out price, which was never altered - I paid exactly what I expected. I called Justin a couple of days after and asked for a copy of all the service records for my car from it's pre-sale inspection & shape-up. The dealership had done a oil change, and installed all new battery, struts and brake pads, just beforing putting it on the lot. Tom didn't even mention this when selling the car to me - it was just a happy accident I found out after I bought the car ( & later confirmed this with my mechanic that this was all done). The entire transaction was a pleasure. This is not your average shim-sham dealership.

He supplied us with answers to all our questions and supplied us with information on the vehicle on things we didn't know to ask. He was able to take the amount we were willing to put down and get us a deal that fit in our budget. We were pleasantly pleased with the overall experience at the Toyota dealership in whole and especially with our sales rep. I was extremely impressed with the courtesy of Shawn and how helpful he was. I soon realized that EST had everything that I wanted available in stock. The dealership itself is very clean and makes the customer feel welcomed. After working with Shawn, I was able to find the exact interior/exterior that I wanted on my vehicle for a fair price. I am a big fan of toyotas and their durability, which is why this isn't the first or last toyota that ill be purchasing. I was also able to bring one of my older 4Runners in to the service shop to have a tail light replaced. Found a vehicle I liked. The guys at the dealership told me they had to get it checked out with the mechanic. Then they found a small problem and proceeded to get it fixed. They promised me the car was mine as soon as they could sell it. THREE weeks after initially coming in they got the car fixed and ready to sell. Just a couple hours before I came in to purchase they called and said they had sold the car and asked if I wanted anything else. I couldn't believe it. I had been waiting on THEM to get the car and they were well aware of that. Ridiculous and frankly awful business. Not only will I never go back to this dealership but I would never recommend it to anyone.

I had purchased a vehicle from Eastern Shore in 2011, it was rear ended Oct this year, they insurance found prior damage that would have been there when we bought the car. We went to the dealership to see how they would handle it and were pleasantly surprised when they took full responsibility for the prior damage offered to fix the car like new or to take the car back and put us in a new one. We chose the new option, Eastern Shore took the damaged car back and we drove away in a new car. They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and happy. I cannot say enough about how they handled this situation and us. They will be our dealership going forward.

Twice I have had ES Toyota diagnose problems I had with a Camry purchased from them. On one occasion I was told I needed a throttle body for $1400. I elected to get the problem addressed elsewhere and found that it did not need a throttle body. On the second occasion I was told I needed a rebuilt transmission for $4400. I elected to get the problem addressed elsewhere and found that it did not need a transmission and the problem was corrected for $1400. I wrote a letter to Mr. Esfahani (see below) on 9/12/12 and as of 10/21 have not had the courtesy of a reply. I would not do business with these folks again. 9/12/12Mr. Shawn EsfahaniEastern Shore Toyota29732 Frederick BlvdDaphne, Al 36526 Dear Mr. Esfahani,Recently I took my daughters 2002 Toyota Camry (a car I had purchased from you) to Eastern Shore Toyota to have a problem diagnosed. I was told that the car would need a rebuilt transmission and a couple of unrelated parts for a total of $4400.00. (See attached.) I was skeptical and a couple of days later took the car to Advanced Transmission in Spanish Fort. Within 10 minutes they found that the timing belt was out of time, the bank 2cam gear was cracked, and the wrong spark plugs were installed. They addressed these issues and the car now runs fine. (See attached.)After the problem was successfully corrected I returned to Eastern Shore Toyota for an explanation. An excellent mechanic tested the car thoroughly and determined that there was not a problem with the transmission. Mr. McCombs apologized and refunded the diagnostic charge.In July of last year I took the same car to Eastern Shore Toyota to have a problem diagnosed and was told it needed a throttle body for a cost of $1400.00. Following that diagnosis I purchased a throttle body separately and had a mechanic install it for me. It did not fix the problem. The problem was fixed but it was unrelated to the throttle body. Mr. McCombs dismissed this issue because it was some time back and had nothing to do with present problem.Twice I have taken my car to Eastern Shore Toyota and twice I have had it misdiagnosed. That is quite a coincidence. Had I followed your recommendations I would have spent a considerable amount of money and still have had the problems.This experience has caused me to question the honesty and/or competence of your operation. However, before I reach any conclusions I would like to hear from you personally. The customer service was awful. The salesmen insulted me for what he offered on my trade-in. When I asked for my keys they would not return them, I had to ask 6 times and be ugly for them to give my keys back so I could leave. The dealership makes you feel like you are trapped into buying a car because they would not let me look around the lot before having to speak with someone. I will not ever recommend anyone to Eastern Shore Toyota.

The most important thing to Stacey was that I bought exactly what I wanted...and I did. I never felt any pressure and got a great deal. I highly recommend Stacey and the dealership. I LOVE MY CAR!

I was looking for a new (atleast new to me) car, that was more dependable and better on gas than my Jeep. I searched all around Pensacola, where I live and found nothing I liked. I looked online and found the car I have wanted for years! a 2004 Scion xB! I was very excited until I saw it was over an hour drive from my house.. But I figured it wouldn't hurt to call about it. I was dicrected to Stacey Conley who was very friendly and answered all my questions. I decided to make the drive with my boyfriend out there to see the car. Stacey worked with me about what time I was able to come. the sales department is open a lot later than I expected which helped a lot! When we got there he was very nice and introduced us to Kubi, the man that actually showed us the car. the car was like new inside and out. When we went inside to talk number, I don't feel like they were trying to pressure me into buying it just so they could make a sale. They worked with me, and my bank, and insurance company A LOT! I couldn't take it home that night, but they held on to the car for me and after I made MANY phone calls, to the bank.. eastern shore.. my insurance company..and my father, who was going to be on the title as well.. they offered to drive the car to my house in Pensacola at 930 at night!! I was completely blown away by the offer, my schedual was so busy it would have been days before both me and my dad could have made it out there. they even dealtailed it and filled it up with gas before the delivered it! I feel like they did EVERYTHING they could to give me this great car, at a great deal, witht he best coustmer service ever! I called Wednesday morning, and had the car by Thursday night. Its been almost two months and my car is still perfect! Stacey and Kubi are the best, I have the care I have wanted for the past 6 years, and its all thanks to them!

I purchased a 2010 elantra drove it a few days had no power and it was all over the road I took it back to eastern toyota they were very nice listen to my story and took back the car and found me a 2010 camry that i just love it hugs the road and has power I could not be happier.Eastern Toyota took the negativity I had in being a woman buying a car.Their Salesman Stacy Conoly was very patient with me and worked very had to get me in the right car for me and finacially to be where i wanted to be.After i got the car home i noticed a black mark shaped like a c on the hood i took it back to the service department and met David P.. He and his team tried to buff it out but still when i got it back the black mark on the hood was still there.Then I got to meet and talk to Vickie the head of the service dept she listen to me and looked at the mark on the hood agreeed it was a paint problem took my car and gave me a rental car and had the hood repainted.The mark is gone and the paint job looks great at no cost to me.The Eastern Shore Toyota went over and beyond to make me happy.I will most definatly highly recommend them.The customer service was excellent and as a woman that hates purchasing a car and keeping up the oil changes etc..i will be taking all my business to Eastern Shore Toyota and telling all my friends to go there and if they are buying to ask for Stacy Conoly need service ask for Vickie and the department they may need to get out scratches etc ask for David P.The entire staff was very friendly and courtious and professional.All woman who hate going to get their car fixed or they want to purchase one on their own i again say i highly recommend the Eastern Shore Toyota and their associates.Thank you to u all for making my buying experience and experience i will never forget...

I went into this dealship not planning on purchasing anything that day, however once I spoke with Stacey and he agreed to see what they could do we began to move towards a deal. Did I have to go through the same old they make an offer and I counter it yes. However, at no time did I feel as if Stacey was not working toward obtaining the best for me. In the end I decided to leave but they came back with one final offer within 500 of what I had thought would be my best possible deal so I was pleased. I know they have to make money to stay in buisness but I never felt as if they were not dealing up front with me. Did they make money off my purchase of course you would expect that but I felt satisfied with my deal and happy with the car in the end that is all that mattered. I didn't walk in blind. I knew the car and had a good idea of my trade-ins real value. Finally as a woman I would have to say it was a great experience. Stacey never talked down to me allowed me to ask any questions I had no matter how small and made sure I understood everything. My final dealing were with Josh in Finance. Yes he tried to sell the extended warrenty everyone does but he was very informative and took a no answer with grace. He went over everything in detail and made sure I knew what I was signing. I would highly recommend both of these gentlemen and want to say how much I appricated them and the extra time they took on a late Sunday night.

My wife & I had been talking about buying a van in the next few months and had done some research. We knew we wanted a Honda or Toyota. After going to a movie we decided to stop buy Eastern Shore to see what they had on the lot and maybe drive a Sienna.Stacey Conley came out and we told him what we wanted to do and he put us in a golf cart and showed us the pre-owned Siennas on the lot. We also looked at a new one.The 2008 Sienna XLE was very close to what we thought we wanted. It had all of the accessories we required, was very clean and the no-haggle price was reasonable. We drove it and looked at it a little more; told Stacey that we were going next door to look at the Hondas before we deciced anything.He thanked us and with no pressure we went to get in our car. We never made it to the Honda dealership. We went back in, had them give us a price on our trade-in and made the deal. I hate going to a car dealership and being pushed and pressured. Stacey Conley neither pushed nor pressured us to buy. He was knowledgeable of his product and was a large part of the reason we bought at Eastern Shore Toyota. Chris Gummere got our parework together and we were on the road again. Thanks Stacey, Chris and Easter Shore for a great car buying experience. My wife insists that all service on our Sienna will be done at Eastern Shore.

My experience with this dealership was by far the worst consumer experience I have had. I spoke with Shawn Hudson by phone the night before I visited the dealership, at which time he gave me a bottom line "out the door" price on the vehicle. This price included his estimate of the value of my trade-in. When I arrived the next morning, I was handled by Stacey Conley, who was very pleasant throughout the experience, but lacked the authority to get anything done. It was over an hour before Shawn bothered to come see me and introduce himself. He then showed me a write up of the deal, which now valued my trade $1,500 more than his estimate the night before; however, the bottom line price did not reflect this difference. When I asked about this discrepancy, Shawn stated that he put the $1,500 back into the price of the vehicle so he could make some money on the deal. I later asked for a $500 option to be added to the vehicle since there was now more room for them to work on price, at which time Shawn responded that he "wouldn't give you five dollars of anything" and then walked away. He was perhaps the most unprofessional sales manager I have ever worked with. Following this, I spoke with general manager Keith McCullar, who apologized for Shawn's behavior but still stuck with the same bottom line. Keith's interaction with me was, in my opinion, deceptive, as he denied any change in the valuation of the trade-in and claimed there was no room to go down on the vehicle's price, despite Shawn having already told me that he put $1,500 back into the price of the vehicle once my trade was valued higher. Despite better judgement, I still purchased the vehicle, and immediately regretted it on my drive home. Prior to that, when I was working on financing, Keith came into the room and told me that he needed for me to rate my experience on Toyota's survey as 100% excellent or he and the salesperson would lose money. I told him I couldn't rate my experience as excellent. That evening I wrote an email to Keith explaining my disappointment in my experience. The next morning found an email in my inbox from Keith saying that I could return the vehicle. Shortly thereafter I received a phone call from Stacey asking what he could do to make my overall experience better and saying he hoped I would keep the vehicle. Again, he was very nice and professional. An hour later I called to tell Stacey that I would keep the vehicle, at which time Keith got on the phone and told me they were going to void the deal. Incredulous, I had a 45 minute conversation with Keith, during which I caught him in several lies. Following the conversation I decided to void the deal. They brought my trade back and took their vehicle back. I later went to a competitor dealership and purchased the same vehicle for $500 more. It was well worth it to not have to deal with Keith McCullar or Shawn Hudson again.
