My wife and I went for our normal 3k mile oil change and were asked if we wanted to sell our 2016 Sorento and upgrade to a 2017 at/around what we are currently paying today. We thought, what exactly do we have to lose. Turns out, nothing, in fact we gained a brand new 2017 Sorento with no out of pocket costs. The transaction was completed within 2 hours and we were on our way. It was completely unexpected and made very simple by Vince and all the other individuals who helped transition us through this sale.

My Sorento ALWAYS HAS TO BE TAKEN BACK, a Second time, to get repaired properly. Kept my car a whole we just to look at it, after I called they tell me they had to order a new Nav system.... customer service and service is extremely poor, ALWAYS NEW faces in service deptment..... Avoid this place at all costs if you are buying a used car. Tried to screw me by adding on a $1300 "bank fee" which the bank later confirmed was not from them, and damaged my credit score by running it 13 times. Sales manager never returned my calls when I tried to give them a chance to make things right before posting this review. Below is the story:After a few days of negotiating we made a deal over the phone so I went in to buy. I was approved for a loan, but the amount was $1300 higher than the agreed upon price for the car. The salesman, Theo, said that it was a bank fee and was the only way I could get a loan. I said that this is stupid as the amount I wanted to finance was only around $4000. When I said I will just pay cash, they said they actually can't honor the price we agreed on over the phone, so I left. The next day the bank called me and said that they don't charge a fee, the dealership just asked them to finance the higher amount. On top of that, I got an alert from Credit Karma saying that my credit had been pulled 13 times.

Worst dealer anybody can walk into. Prices are higher than msrp salesmans are complete trash. Ripped me off my car that A bought had it for a bout 5 days and transmission slipped when they told me the car was running great. Vasko the salesman is a complete idiot piece of xxxx.

My husband and I spent almost 4 hours being messed around on price and apr. First we were told that the sticker price on the car we wanted was not actually the price, but depended on us qualifying for all sorts of programs, like prior military service, to qualify. At the end of the day the apr we were offered was cut from 14% to 4%, but not until after we were verbally attached by the "finance manager." We left at that point and were chased down by the sales guy in what I could only describe as a good cop/bad cop routine. If you are prepared to be made to sit for hours, degraded and lied to, and hassled half to death, then Napleton Elmhurst is your place. We will never go back to this circus establishment again. By the way, the sales person told us we'd have free car washes and other benefits included with our contract and that was a lie. Worst experience EVER!!!

As I walked into Napleton's KIA i couldn't help admire the amazing cleanliness of the store, I was here to buy a new car, and like everyone does, I like to shop around before I make up my mind. one of the sales associates approached me and asked me what i was looking for in a new car. I wanted something gas friendly, safe and easily Maintainable. I was pointed in the direction of a few cars. Kia Optima, and such. We finally made our way to a 2017 Kia Sportage. Right when i saw it i loved the look. They showed me around the car and answered any questions that i had. Warranty, Horsepower, gas mileage. Its like they knew the car inside and out. Almost like they designed and built the car with all of the knowledge he had about it. What sold me on the car was the way that was such an amazing help!. I could have left and gotten another vehicle, But the warranty, and the service that provided me is what made me decide this is my new car :)

So I was looking online at the ford focus and found one spoke to the dealerships online sales guy Justin asked some questions about the car and let him know id be by to check out the vehicle. When I got there I met addulla abbadi who it turned out was Justin, normally this wouldn't throw me off my best friend kareim sometimes introduces himself as Josh to avoid discrimination, but here it was the first red flag of many. He takes us over to his desk and is bsing normal dealer talk wasting time for maybe 15 minutes trying to get me invested in the car and constantly asking me to sit down before disappearing for about 10 minutes to go get the car. He pulls up opens the door and I could smell both the smoke and heavy cleaner trying to mask the smoke. I had told him initially over the phone I did not want a smoking car and brought this up to him which he vehemently denied that it was a smoking car and tried telling me that even if it was I wouldn't be able to tell.... I clearly was able. He denied it was a smoking car right up till the point I scoured the car for cigarette burns and found multiple. I told him I wasn't interested and he brought me back to his desk a different employee was sitting at using the computer and talking to someone in the armed forces about when they were being deployed. I understand car dealers sometimes hotel their dealers but this seemed like a personal call and we were customers. After waiting about 5 minutes listening to this phone call and Abdulla asking me to sit another 5 times I went off on him explaining I know about the power play with sitting and the wasting time I'm good friends with several Honda sales people I went on to explain that this was the least professional experience I had ever had and would have complained if I felt it would make a difference which is why I took the time to write a review. I appreciate this forum in which I can vent about this horrible experience and hopefully make a more meaningful impact by warning other users so even if they eventually do business with ed napleton kia they will at least go in aware.

I purchased my 1st. 2013 Kia Optima in 2012. I liked it so much that when my daughters were ready to get a new Car, I only knew to go Kia again. We went with the 2016 Kia Forte. Vince Ballachia was my Salesman both times and was Wonderful then and now. Being in sales myself, I know how important it is to close the deal, but there was no pressure from him. The Used Car Sales Manager was friendly and made us feel quite comfortable.

Kyle and all the members at Ed Napleton's are the best people I have ever worked with on a car deal. Kyle is one of the most laid back and caring salesman I have ever meet. When is buying a car pleasant? When you deal with thoughtful people who can answer your many questions easily and patiently. We had not bought a car for many years and were behind on the technology that has developed since that time. Vince Balachia was a great salesman who did not pressure us for a decision. It seemed as if we were given a fare price and a wonderful explanation of complicated electronics. Rick in finance dealt with our questions with good humor and good answers. Recently purchased a car with Ed Napelotons Kia.I was very happy with the customer service since the biggest thing that made me feel good was the calm approach and knowledge of the salesperson.He was a very friendly young man that but I had no problems at all and any question I had,he provided me with a answer right away so I could tell he knows what he is doing and has experience in his profession.Visited the other dealers in the area and I was attacked when I first came through the door with sales people trying to sell me any car they can.Overall defiantly recommend them for any of there vehicle purchases.Give them a chance take a look at there inventory

I just purchased 2015 Jeep Cherokee from Ed Napleton Kia in Elmhurst. Before our visit we were trying to make a decision between the Honda Cross Tour and the Jeep. This dealership happened to be right down the street from a another pending application. We stopped in and asked to test drive their Jeep we spotted online. We were immediately greeted and set up with salesman James Steele, test drove the car and sat down to discuss our situation. There was never any pressure, or aggressive sales talking. He left us the option to return after visiting other dealers. Needless to say, after his hospitality and honesty, the other dealers could not compete. We went back and were literally negotiating with another dealership on the phone while sitting at his desk and James remained so calm. This was by far the best experience I've ever had with buying a car and would definitely be comfortable recommending them to family and friends. Give them your honest opinion and they will honestly try to make it happen. They were humble and confident through the process and that helped us make our final decision. Thanks again James!

We verified a True Car price over the phone with Erik, who assured us there were no hidden fees. We wanted to make sure we weren't wasting our time going in. When we got there, Erik greeted us and passed us off to a salesman. He didn't seem to know anything about us coming in with True Car pricing, and once we indicated that, we were left to wait for 45 minutes while he went to talk to his manager. The sales manager then came out and offered us the "lowest price we'd find anywhere", which was $3K over the True Car price. We asked to speak to Erik and were told he wasn't in that day. When we said we knew he was in, we were told they didn't want to call him down for us just to yell at him, and that he would be "reprimanded." They then continued to try to sell us for their "low" price, at which point we said that given that they got us there dishonestly, there was no way we would be interested in doing business with them. We indicated that we were going to head to the Toyota dealer across the street, which we did, and had an outstanding experience. Bought the Sienna for a great price and were treated respectfully -- we got the low price offer quickly and were very happy with the customer service there. Be wary of True Car pricing, but also avoid Elmhurst Kia -- as they should have indicated any issue with the pricing over the phone when we called to verify!!

Took my vehicle to them so they can replace the rear stabilizer links and what i got was the blame game, since my car is under warranty and the replacements are covered they try to find every excuse not to cover it under warranty like they are paid to do so. Sarah Pierce from Kia Corporate customer service spoke to Ed and informed him to replace them so i was told by her. I had an appointment today and expected the fix instead they lied about everything, on top of that they gave me an attitude like i owed them, the nerve of these unqualified service reps who think they are technicians. Ed is a terrible liar, Connor doesn't have a clue! I suggest never to buy a Kia, all they do is try to come up with excuses not to cover the parts that are covered under warranty then give you an attitude when disagreeing. I'm taking my complaint up with BBB, if that doesn't work the attorney general. I've been driving this car for 2 months like this and will not allow these people to get away with it. I had a similar issue with the front stabilizer links and same issue with another dealer, they tried to blame me for it. Unbelievable!

Worst experience ever!!! Saw the car we wanted on Autotrader, listed for $10,491. Contacted the dealer through e-mail. Erik Briskey reached out and said it was available and when would I like to come out and test drive. I asked what the OTD price would be, he said figure to add 10% for tax, title and misc fees. i told him we have an autistic son that has issues when it comes to waiting in same place for a long period of time. He understood, his nephew is autistic and would make the experience as short as possible To speed things up i filled out the Pre-qualify application for financing. Credit not the best. He said he received it and his manager said we could make things work, come on in. The day before we came in we took our current car to carmax to get it appraised. Carmax gave us a $4000 trade in value or would buy it for $3,710. I told Erik That carmax will give us a $4000 trade in and I have $3000 to put down. He said come on in. Luckily my daughter was able to stay home with our son so we went off to meet Erik and test drive the Soul. Once we arrived the first person who met us (we were barley out of the car) was Theo. I told him we were here to meet Erik, he said great I'll call him. Theo directed us to a cubical and called Erik. Erik came by and said hello and then left. Apparently the person who I was dealing with won't be our salesman.Theo took us on our test drive, we liked the car and was ready to purchase. After 2hrs of sitting in a cubicle and theo coming in once in a while saying just five more minutes just waiting on the finance dept. How can we be waiting on the finance dept when we didn't agree on the price of the car or my trade in? After another half an hr he comes into our prison cell, I mean cubical and says "Great News, we got financing....$359 for 72 mos" I said no way, what was our trade in worth...."Um....2...3...4...I don't know" We say no, we are way off, does that include the $3000 we are putting down also? He had know Idea that we were doing a down payment. Runs back to finance dept, they say figure $20 for every $1000. We say no thanks and I shake his hand and ask for our keys. No NO... this is only the begining of the negotiations, let me see what the finance dept says. I ask him again what our trade in was, he ignored me and runs out. At this time our daughter is telling us we need to come home ASAP because our son is melting down. When Theo comes back with another "offer" I tell him no, we are way off and we have to go because of our son, I demand our keys back. He says no..no give me two more minutes I want to earn your business. They were basically holding us hostage by not giving back our keys. luckily we brought the extra set of keys, Because we were ready to buy. We stormed out as he was yelling WAIT..... When we got home we did the math. Instead of financing roughly $4500 we were going to finance $13,250!!! I think we were paying them to take our car.Hope they send our keys back

Scheduled appointment last week for warranty repair of my on-going problems with my panoramic sunroof and driver's seat. Dropped car off on Sunday. No one from dealer would return our 8 phone calls about the status of the car until my 9th phone call (8 pm on Tuesday) at which time I was extremely irate. I went on Ed Napleton's website today and found a 2015 Kia Soul Base with an MSRP of $2,714. I called the dealer to inquire about the listing, and the saleswoman said she had to check with her manager and would call me back in a few minutes. More than an hour later, she called back and told me that the dealer would not honor the price on the website (because the real price was more than $20,000) but that, if I came into the dealership, they could work out a deal for me. I understand mistakes happen, but companies should have a bit more integrity and honor the prices they advertise. I would have been happy if the saleswoman called back with even a reasonable price, but she left me with a vague invitation to come in and negotiate instead of standing by the advertisement. I learned my lesson: Don't trust their online prices. And, in my opinion, why trust a company that won't stand by their advertisements? They should have a little more respect for their customers, and companies that don't respect customers don't deserve my money.

Do not buy a car from Ed Napleton, Kia/Acura of Elmhurst. They are incompetent thieves and don't care about your satisfaction after the purchase. A service guy stole from my mother's car. I paid to have my windshield wipers replaced , waited for this to happen, drove away and they were not replaced. Had to bring my car back one week later for what should have been done when I paid for them.My Bluetooth is not working on my new Kia. Three attempts were made to fix it and it still does not work. My windshield/return oil-change sticker is always accurate but my mother's, who does not speak English, always has her return 2,000 miles early.My brother replaced the air filter himself prior to bringing in his new Kia for an oil change and was lied to when told it was filthy and needed to be replaced.One week after the purchase, my steering alignment was off and was told that it's because not all streets are completely flat. After insisting on speaking to a manager, an adjustment was made, confirming the alignment was off.After reporting the above (and other incidents), the general manager told me that I will not be compensated because I am only one unhappy customer of thousands happy customers.

First, when I said what I was told didn't make sense, I was offered to speak to the manager. He seemed very bothered by having to talk to me, told me he didn't say what I was told, then contradicted his own statements. He was bordering on yelling, I asked why, then he claimed there were loud people on the showroom floor that he was trying to talk over. After he made some comment like "apparently you know everything" when I tried to explain car buying procedures under a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy,I said "apparently you don't want to do business with me" and then he said "Ma'am, please take your business elsewhere." I was dumbfounded at being treated this way so I called back to the original person I spoke with. I was connected with someone else in Internet sales, who told me they could not do anything until bankruptcy was discharged. That's when for the first time, I said "that is bullsh**" First time I used any cusswords. Then she connected me to Dan, who was still telling me that they wouldn't do anything because the bankruptcy had to be discharged, (not true) and no dealer anywhere would be able to sell me a car. When I tried to explain, (2x I asked if he would let me speak) he said I've already told you no dealer would sell you a car and there was nothing else to say. Now, I already worked out a deal with another dealer, but the car was sold before I had the Trustee approval. I am currently in contact with 3 other dealers who AMAZINGLY want to work with me. In my discussions with dealers, I have also been AMAZINGLY told that they have dealt with people in Chapter 13 situations. I am not sure if they thought I was stupid, or because I'm a woman, or that they think credit challenged people are the dirt of the earth, but I have never been treated so poorly in my 60 years. One thing they do excel at is covering for each other. Addendum on 7/25/14 I just purchased a vehicle from a dealer. Within 48 hrs of agreeing on a purchase price, financing, etc. I received the approval of the Chapter 13 Trustee. I am now happily driving my "new" (pre-owned) 2012 Kia Soul +. Sorry you thought I wasn't worthy.

this was the best experience I have ever had. I have trouble walking and walk with a cane and when I was walking around the car lot and having trouble Oscar come up and asked if he could help. He said I don't want you hurt of yourself let me pull up the cars your interested in and you just have to come out the door to see them. And we can text drive any one of them. It was just amazing how quick he was to help and how concerned he was for my safety. I ended up getting a car that day and I am so happy I stick with Oscar. He worked thru it all with me. All the hi-tech things my car had he helped me with. He went above and be you'd to help us. I will recommend him to any one. I know my granddaughter is interested in going to him for a new cAr when she is ready.

When in to get info on a car. Was approached by Vince. Told him I was just looking said not a problem take my time and to let him know if I had any questions. About 5 min later I was ready to ask a few questions. He was very help full. Asked me what I was looking for in a car. Told him my wants and need and he recommended a few different models.. I fell in love with the Kia optima. He went over the features and safety and the great warranty. Note 5 year 60000 and 10 year 100000 can't be that. I was very impressed. Then he asked if I was ready to test drive or if I needed more time to look around. I was shocked no pressure what so ever. So we went on a test drive and came back to the dealer. I asked him a few more questions about the optima and he again was very help full and knows his stuff. Asked if I was ready to do something that day and told him I was. Went to his desk offered me something to drink and we started the car thing. Told him were I wanted to be payment wise and he said ok. Came back with numbers we were close. Asked if he can get me closer to we're I wanted to be. Came back with the numbers and they looked good. Agreed on the numbers did the paper work and now I am driving my new Kia optima and loving it. If you need a car and wanted to be treated like a human go see Vince Balachia it will be worth your time and money.

My wife called about two KIA sx and talked to Hector. she told Hector I would be driving in to look at these cars, At around 11:30 pm the next day he text her to see if we were still coming. I think that is very unprofessional to text a customer at all, it is also stupid to do it at 11:30 at night some of us work in the morning. We still Drove to the KIA dealer in elmhurst to look at two KIA sx thinking we would just deal with another person, as Hector was going to be off that day. my brother and myself had to walk around for 30 minutes to finally get someone to ask if we needed help (oscar) but wow it sure seemed like it was a pain in his xxx that he had to get up off his computer to show us the cars. We test drove and got back the car was fairly priced but there were some dents and dings as it was used but it also had a minor collision on the carfax I wanted them to work the price alittle because I would have liked to replace some of the plastic. Then Hector showed up out of the blue on his day off. They would not budge on the price and were extremly rude to us when we were trying to make a deal. Hector was the worst car dealer I have ever delt with just a joke would never waste my time going there again. Think twice before trying to deal with these people

This was, by far, the best dealership I've had the pleasure to deal with. I searched several dealers for the right price on a new Optima and they came out on top. Not only did they win in the pricing category, but their attitudes and friendliness far surpassed the competition. Oscar (my sales person) and Angel (manager) are top-notched people and catered to my every request. I will be recommending this dealership to all my friends and family.

We returned to Ed Napleton Kia in Elmhurst Illinois because of the professional courteous service from Oscar. 2 years ago Oscar was our sales person when we purchased a Kia Soul. We have recently returned and purchased a Kia Sorrento, again with Oscars help. We never felt rushed or pushed into a decision, and even though the dealership was busy Oscar made us feel like we were the only ones there. Thanks again Oscar you are a 10 in our book!!!

I received and internet quote and when I arrived the next day was told that there had been a mistake and that they could not and would not honor their internet quote. I was told I was given a price for a used car with 20,000 miles not the price for a new car 2012. Although I was given the stock number and the color and mileage they refused. I've reported this dealer to MIA corporate offices for using Bait and switch tactics.

I went to this dealer to purchase a new Kia Sportage. I was pre approved from my credit union for $30,000.I did my research and knew what I wanted. From the time I walked in the door, test driving the SUV, sitting with my sales man I was happy. When I needed to speak with financial manager, all this changed. He tainted the purchase of my vehicle. He continued to speak down to me. When I went back the next day he treated me the same. I am very confused by this. I am the customer. I would recommend this dealer, But would hope my words bring change.I purchased my care 4/25/2012

After my fiance and I had a horrible experience at the Schaumburg kia dealership, I called the Elmhurst dealership and spoke with Scott Hoffman. I explained to him how the schaumburg dealership bought the wrong car for us. He was very informative and told us that if we came to him, he would either match the deal we were going to get with schaumburg dealership or do even better!! The next day we went to see Scott and we purchased the exact car that we had been told didnt exist from him for less then what the schaumburg kia dealership offered us. We were not hassled by any salesmen and it was great experience. I would highly recommend this dealership and I would especially recommend Scott Hoffman. He really did what he could to make us happy. So happy that we are going back to him next week to look at trading in my car.
