Most unprofessional dealership I have ever dealt with about a purchase. Return call didn't even know what vehicle I was wanting to purchase and the price. He was more interested about telling me how long he had been selling cars (19 years). Please don't waste people's time and miss lead customers, I don't know how he's been doing this 19 years. This guy didn't even give me a chance to make another offer on their vehicle, just shut the conversation down. Poor dealership in my opinion. Good luck if you trade here.

I had a not so good experience with Edwards on Saturday, but they reached out to me on Monday and by Tuesday I was in the car I wanted with a great deal. I really appreciate the management team there and the salesmen in how they truly made me feel valued and appreciated. I had the sweetest kindest salesman, Ron and even though he was new he did a great job. I was also amazed at the Team oriented environment. Since my salesman was new he wasn't familiar with some things such as OnStar but others chipped in to help out and made it a breeze. I look forward to doing business with Edwards in the future.

Terrible service at Edwards on 280, I was told my car would be repaired and that they guaranteed their work for 1 year (this is of course after they charge you AT LEAST $125 just to look at the car before any repairs are made). The car was returned to me $600 later and the exact same problem was wrong with the exact same check engine lights and warnings flashing, I did not even leave the service department, I walked back inside and the manager on duty told me that this type of repair they could not guarantee that it would actually fix anything and they took a "chance" repairing in, but did not know how long the repair would last...WOW. Thanks Edwards!

I will never walk back in there door. The service department spilled def all over the engine of my brand. New 60.000 truck and left it. I find it weeks later. And now my engine and engine bay has corrison started in the metal. When I call them I get told a bunch of lies. I was promised to talk to a service manager when I get there. And he's not even there........ They will tell you LIES .They ended up letting two young new guys pressure wash the engine of my. New truck and wash the out side witch was not why I was there. After I was promised that the shop Forman would over see the work done to my truck. All xxxxxxxx please AWAY

Lance & all the other guys at Edwards were very helpful and accommodating to help me choose & purchase my 2016 Silverado. It will not be the last time that I do business with Edwards. The Service Department is awesome, receptionist's are very friendly, finance department did a fantastic job, and the sales department is second to none, and found me exactly what i was looking for. Leather seats were installed in mere hours, and Lance made sure i was up and running as soon as the paperwork was signed! The low tax rate and $0 doc fee helped make my decision even easier to do business with this bunch.

My salesman Mr Ali was great, the financial department was flawless, however my vehicle cleanup was defiantly lacking (dirty Windows, dirty interior, oil pencil writings on the exterior, and shipping tape on the lef't quarter wheel well) also the aftermarket gas pedal cover fell off during the test ride, I had to spend time out of my busy day to bring the car back for a service call to put the pedal cover back on.

Before physically arriving at the dealership we did use websites of dealerships to locate vehicles, including Edward's Chevrolet. We were disappointed that the "shown" prices on the website were nowhere close to the "actual" price and caused us to "shift" our position on the desired vehicles. We were treated with respect and care, and regardless, we feel we did get a good car for a "good" price (though it was more than what we were expecting).

First, I had an excellent experience with Danielle in Internet sales. She was exceptionally friendly and very helpful in getting the information I needed to make a decision. Then, I worked with Brian at the dealership to finalize the deal. He was also easy to work with. The car I purchased had to be brought in from another dealer, and Brian kept in communication with me on delivery time. Overall, I was completely satisfied with the experience and will readily recommend Edwards 280 to others.

I got an oil change, tire rotation, new wiper blades and my water pump replaced. I would have preferred a break down of costs since I wasn't sure why it was $140 (Technically, all I paid for was the oil change and wiper blades as the water pump was covered under warranty and the tire rotation was free because I bought the tires there a few months ago.) They also gave me someone else's key when I left and I had to return it. Ultimately though, the service was well done and the employees were friendly.

The service writer is new since I was there last and was very courteous, respectful and knowledgeable. I came in for the free service available from buying my vehicle there and was out in less than thirty minutes. Edwards has been my best experience with dealerships ever and I am 64. I had also been a service writer years ago, not with Edwards. My forth truck will also be purchased at Edwards. I have always gone looking at cars with a man, (husband or dad), so I was really dreading handling the whole process by myself. I did take my son, but he had NO experience with car trading. I was so afraid that the stereotypical car salesman would think "I can sell this one ANYTHING, she has no clue". But much to my surprise and delight, Danny Mayo walked up and shook my hand and from the first moment of our encounter treated me like I knew what I was doing. He listened to what I wanted, how much I wanted to pay and steered me away from bad decisions. He made the whole experience an enjoyable process. I never felt like he was taking advantage of me and I felt like he really had my best interests in mind. "Getting a car" has not moved up on my list of favorite things to do but it was a much more enjoyable event due to Danny. Danny was honorable and down-to-earth during the whole process. I've been having trouble coming out of bankruptcy to get a car I actually wanted to own and drive so I gave it a shot with them. Within 30 minutes of sending in my app, Danielle called to tell me the great news of being approved for my 2015 Camaro. Headed down there to the dealer around 6:30 and even being so close to closing time they were more than happy to get me to the payments I felt comfortable with as well as no down payment whatsoever. Took my car to have an engine seal leak fixed to find out that other things had leaks all covered under my extended warranty except for one. Experience was great and I plan to have my oil change done here instead of Express Oil, who do not know a thing about cars. I had to take my truck in to have a new HIM installed. They diagnosed it the first day, the next day they received the wrong part. I think the employees were more upset than I was about it. They reordered and when I came in the 3rd day, they already had the part and started on my truck right away. Everyone I encountered was extremely pleasant and they made getting the truck fixed easy. I can honestly say this is the first time I have had a good experience with a dealership (first time I have used Edwards 280 service dept as well).

Sales team avoided us due to previous purchase from another dealership. After waiting over an hour, finally asked someone for help to where he pushed us off on someone who left us as soon as another customer showed up. Finally got someone to help us, but management is worse than before and deal fell through. What I loved best is when we were leaving on how they were all in there little glass office giving us looks and talking about us. It's kind of obvious when they are all pointing and giving you disgusting looks. Makes you feel just wonderful, (NOT). I guess I won't be getting a new vehicle anytime soon, at least not from Edwards. Recommend others to go elsewhere and avoid having these people waste your time. I laugh because after this, we went to Hendricks Chevrolet, and seen two people signing papers who we had seen earlier at Edwards!!

I needed a car. I had to have one, there was no doubt about it. I had been to Edwards Chevrolet off of Hwy. 280 here in Birmingham, Alabama, for at least two years and I could never commit to purchasing a car. My car died in February after the ice storm and it just got to the point where I needed a car to take my kids around and for work. Again, I went over to Edwards Chevrolet and I met Danny Mayo. His explosive personality was highly infectious. The first thing he said to me was, Ive been watching you for quite some time and I promise you that Ill get you in a car.I was afraid. I was afraid of adding debt. I was afraid of a ridiculously high car note. I was afraid on so many levels. I was purchasing my first car and I was deeply afraid. Danny promised to walk me through step by step. I was looking at the Spark because it is so cute, but honestly, it didnt meet all of my needs. He asked me to look at the Cruze and the Sonic. I ended up liking a slightly used Sonic with only eleven thousand miles. I went on a test drive during my lunch break at work. The car had some kick. I liked the space it afforded me in the trunk for my junk! He dropped me off back at work with the application. He called back with an offer I could agree with. By the time I got off of work, I drove home in my own car! I honestly couldnt have done it without the help of Danny Mayo!

I had a busted lift gate and warped rotors on my 2012 Tahoe. I called to schedule an appointment, and I spoke to James Whitehead. He took very great care of me, and was very patient with me as I had my two children (1 and 2 years old) with me. The service was completed in the timeframe provided. Two and one half hours. Mr. Whitehead called me upon completion of service. When I arrived back at the service department, he showed me that my lift gate was now repaired, and gave me tips on how to keep my rotors in great condition. I am very pleased with the vehicle service provided! I look forward to wonderful vehicle service for any future needs! Thanks!

The day of May 15,2014 We went to Edwards Chevrolet on 280 to look at a 2011 chevy silverado. We were seen by Danny Mayo and Alan Barnette. Who were both helpful in every way possible. They both did all they could do for us and took their time to explain everything about the vehicle. We bought our Chevy Captiva the end of March. Danny Mayo and the staff at Edward Chevrolet were the nicest people to deal with. We weren't sure at first what we wanted but we felt we wanted to buy from this dealership. Every time we went in to Edwards we enjoyed being there. I couldn't believe the time spent with us. We visited Edwards Chevrolet on Highway 280 a few times looking for a vehicle that we liked and could afford. Danny Mayo from the first time we pulled up was so very helpful. We left and I kept feeling like I wanted to do my car shopping there even though at that time we had not decided. He was so nice and not trying to push us into something just to make a sale. We shopped around for several days and decided we did want to go back and by that time we felt we would like to check out the Chevrolet Captiva. This is where we bought it and Danny made us a great deal. He took the time to show me every feature of the car which took him probably 45 minutes. He was not trying to hurry me through. Not to mention all the time before the sale that he had spent. I really appreciated that. I love my car. I actually had a great time buying it. My husband and I live on a budget like many people now days. We needed a car payment that would fit into that budget and a car that would fit our needs. From the minute I talked to Patrick on the phone, I knew he would do his very best to help us. We drove from Fort Payne, Alabama to Edwards Chevrolet on 280. Although we were in a car a couple of hours both ways, it was worth the drive. Since my husband is a Teacher and didn't get off work until after 3, we were nervous we wouldn't get there in time to look at cars, fill out paperwork, and get the loan finalized. Patrick told us not to worry, he would stay as late as he needed to so that we could get everything finished that night. He worked hard to help us find the car we needed, and he kept his word. He stayed as long as he had to, so that we could drive our car home that night. He is a compassionate, kind, hard working man that made sure we had just exactly what we needed. Everyone who works at Edwards Chevrolet on 280 are friendly and they work hard to help you. We ended up being able to purchase a brand new car with less than 10 miles on it when we drove it off the lot. Our car fits our family needs and the payment is within our budget. I truly appreciate Patrick for all of his hard work. I would recommend to everyone that they should go to Edwards Chevrolet to purchase a car that fit their needs in every way. I would also recommend that the shopper ask for Patrick. He is nice, hardworking and he also aims to please his customers if at all possible. If I could rate this dealership and the people who work for them any higher, I would give them the highest rate as possible. As returning customers, let us say that Danny Mayo once again, rose to the occasion, to assist us with the very best deal, concerning the purchase of our new car.Five months ago, we purchased a Chevrolet Equinox for our daughter from Edwards and Danny Mayo put together a deal that was unbelievable for her to meet her needs.My husband and I have driven Cadillac's for 30 years, and planned to purchase another Cadillac. However, after enjoying the comfort and options the Equinox had to offer, we elected to return to Edwards. My husband called Danny to inquire of their inventory, and as expected, Danny managed to beat any price we had found elsewhere. Not only did Edwards beat other prices, but Danny walked us step- by-step through the purchase process as if we were old friends. Kevin Liles -General Manager, offered us an outstanding trade-in on our car, and Bryant Baugher, Financial Manager, went out of his way to make sure we got the lowest financing available, and provided an opportunity for us to secure additional warranty. Both of these gentlemen called us by name, which made an impression on us, knowing they respected their returning customers. Together, along with Danny, they created for us the perfect deal, which Danny referred to as a "Ridiculous Deal". AND IT WAS !!Danny set up our Blue Tooth and On-Star on the Equinox for us before we left the dealership, and carefully went over each option to remind us how to use them. Once again, he stressed the safety features on the car and pointed out the memory seats and set them for us.It was 8 P.M. when we left the dealership on Halloween night, and each of these gentlemen stayed as the final papers were signed. As we pulled away from Edwards, our phone begin to ring. We answered it through the Blue Tooth in the car. It was Danny Mayo making sure it worked properly and to say he was our first caller. We are extremely satisfied customers and for someone who has driven Cadillac's for years, we are pleasantly enjoying our new Equinox LTZ 2013.Two cars in five months! Will we return to Edwards? Danny called us the next day to say thank you for stopping by Edwards, and to let us know he would be happy to assist us when we decided to purchase. After looking throughout Birmingham, and all the way to Decatur, we returned to Edwards on Hwy 280 to see Danny. We spent that afternoon with him, at the dealership, and purchased the prettiest red 2013 Equinox on the lot for our daughter. Danny went through every option on the car and carefully explained how to use it . He even assisted our daughter in setting up her On Star account, Blue tooth account and walked her through step by step operations of the vehicle and safety features. While going through the paperwork, Danny provided us with water and pepsi colas to drink, as it had been very hot walking around the dealership looking at the cars. He introduced us to the General Manager , who was extremely kind and the finance manager who assisted us in getting the lowest interest rate as we purchased the car. Overall, we had the most wonderful experience as we found the perfect car for our daughter, and in the process made a new friend with the gentleman who helped to make this possible . test drove a vehicle i was likely going to buy. told the salemans i didnt have much time. i could pay cash or check..he said it wouldnt take but a moment to give me a ifgure...i went in sat down and he fooled around got up sent someone else in as he got POPCORN and ate it at the desk out front.. waste of my time..i asked the the other salesman whats going on?...he took my email address and said he'd email me a price that afternoon...NOT....they missed a cash sale! total waste of my time.

The Service Department at Edwards is the best I have ever dealt with. A problem with our 2011 Equinox had been misdiagnosed at another Chevrolet dealership. Edwards correctly diagnosed it and had it repaired in a very short time. They went well above the minimum work required at an extremely reasonable cost. The Service Manager James showed great concern for our satisfaction and is a great asset to their business. Due in large part to him specifically, I will absolutely recommend their service department to everyone I know and I WILL be purchasing my next vehicle there.

I was looking for a particular used Dodge Charger and I found it through Edwards Chevrolet. They did not have the car at first but they found one exactly like I wanted.
