Michael Rush is an excellent representative of this dealership! Car buying can be a less than pleasant experience, however my expectations were shattered by the quality of service on a personal level as well as knowledge of the product and services available at this dealership. I came to have a look at a used car, and after a thorough test drive i was able to see the carfax & list of services this dealership had performed in prior to offering. The finance department is top notch, i was pre-qualified for an auto loan with my bank, and this dealership was able to offer me an even lower interest rate. I do like to haggle on price, especially on a pre owned vehicle, Michael Rush & the manager Wally were more than willing to get me were i wanted to be on a purchase price. It was an overall great experience, with no chance of buyers remorse. 5 Stars from start to finish, thank you gentlemen for a fine performance!

Mike, with the assistance of Adan help me and were very patient and knowledgeable, making it easy for me to make a decision regarding which car I wanted. I test drove the Durango last with Adan and just loved the car. Adan explained all the features and perks, sealing the deal for me. I came in with a jeep jk i no longer could drive due to many reason, including medical. I came looking for a sedan with perks ie. automatic, sound system, nav, something i could enjoy cruising around in. They hooked me up with a used 2016 BMW 328i. Awesome service and very very great people, Michael Rush and Enrique helped me achieve the car of my dreams which was a mitsubishi final edition evolution. Offered water and pizza while waiting to get approved. As Soon as i got approved i gave micheal a very firm handshake and hugged the manager with a big smile on my face that i couldnt wipe off. I have went to other dealerships to get approved but this place was the only place that helped me get approved and drive off in a Mitsubishi Evo final edition. Came in today, just to start my used car search. Came in to see a Jeep Patriot I saw on Carfax. Found deal was exactly as listed. Our salesman, Michael Rush, was very friendly and informative. The Patriot did not have all the needed features needed to accomodate my arthritic needs. Michael worked with his manager to see if there was another car in the same price range with low mileage on their lot. He pulled out a Mitsubishi Outlander with hardly any miles on it for the same price as the patriot. It had all the bells and whistles I need for my mobility limitations. Michael was never pushy, he and his manager went out of their way to find what I needed. I came here only to start my search and left with a very good deal on a great car.

I brought my 2014 lancer in for an oil change where they informed me of different things wrong and sugested trading my car in for a new one. After going to one dealer and finding out that my wife and I had a very low credit score and in order for us to be able to purchase a vehicle there they wanted us to put a down payment of 7,000 dollars. Although the sales people were nice and we needed to find a car due to our car breaking down and only having 1,500 for a down payment they didn't even try to help us. After leaving that dealer we decided to go to this Mitsubishi dealer where we have purchased a vehicle before and as soon as we arrived the salesperson named Bill greeted us and was very helpful. They looked up our credit again and said the same thing about our credit score. They asked how much we could we could give down and although it still was not a lot due to our credit they kept trying to work with us and were not going to let us leave with out finding a car that we could afford. After everyone involved kept working for us they showed us a 2015 Outlander with only 14 miles on it. So we said ok if we get approved then we will take it, after everyone still working hard trying to get us approved they come to us and say congratulations and we drove off in a new car so thanks again to everyone involved in our purchase the experience was great.

Bought a car from here almost 3 months ago and have regretted buying it from this dealership ever since. Love my car but these people are shady. My experience started out great with Tristan but the minute he introduced me to Michael it all changed. We started taking numbers and finally settled on something. When we went to sign paperwork nothing matched up. He completely lied to us and said he'd give me what I owe for my trade in. While reviewing numbers 20 minutes into paperwork I realized I was carrying over 1k in negative equity to my new car. This is not what we shook hands on. I ended up purchasing the car anyways (not by best decision). It's been a nightmare trying to get dmv info and refund check from pay off amount. Lady in the office is rude on the phone. BY THE WAY, THEY HAVE EVERYBODY RIGHT THESE REVIEWS BEFORE THE START PAPER WORK. THATS HOW THEY GET ALL THESE 5 STAR REVIEWS.

This has been my best car buying experience so far (3rd times a charm!) This was my first time buying a NEW vehicle and Mike made it very painless. We test drove the Outlander Sport initially and then I left to test drive the 2016 Mazda CX-5 and the 2015 Subaru Forrester. The other dealership was not nearly as friendly and accomadating; Not to mention the Mistubishi warranty blew all the others out of the water. You also get more upgrades for your money. I had never considered buying a Mistubishi before, but I'm glad I did! They also didn't try to lowball me on my trade in and gave me what I thought was a very fair price. The finance department (Niko? & Ally) worked with me and made sure I left getting a decent deal on my financing. Everyone here went above and beyond. Mike also did a dealer trade to make sure I got the car I wanted, which included driving to get the car himself (kind of far since apparently not many people buy AWD in southern cali). Once I received my new car, he made sure I knew how everything worked and even programmed the bluetooth on my car/phone for me. I would definitely recommend this dealership if you are considering buying a car!

I came to el cajon mitsubishi 4 years ago and walked away furious after feeling completely offended and disrespected. But Today, i would recommend El Cajon Mitsubishi to anyone and i would tell them Nico and Ammar are the absolute best! They really took the time to help figure out what was best for me. I went in to check out the 2014 Outlander SE after finding one online and right away Branden came out and showed me the car, explained all the features and took me on a drive. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the brand and car and was helpful in guiding me to the decision to buy this vehicle. Then he and Bob worked with me on the numbers to get my trade in and the payments where I wanted them, all the while keeping my kids entertained with drinks and video games. Despite it being late the whole team stayed after hours to make sure everything went smoothly. Ally the finance manager was awesome, she explained all the paperwork clearly so I understood what I was signing and was able to get me the best interest rate at Cal Coast Credit Union. I am not going to lie I was skeptical in getting a car because I had a bankruptcy and soooooo many dealerships told me they was going to help and that ended up not being the case. I got a letter from Nico saying that he would be able to help and of course I called before I drove over. He convinced me to come thru and when I got here Michael approached me. Michael and Nico did an excellent job because I was giving them a hard time and all the patience and dedication to help me with getting a car was remarkable. It wasn't about the sale it was about trying to help me get something to rebuild my credit and go from there. The service I recieved from Mitsubishi El Cajon was tremendous. I came in with the intention of replacing my '03 Eclipse, I never thought I would be able to walk out with the car that I did. This dealership has the worst customer service I have encountered in a very long time. We have made phone calls and been back to the dealership for an appointment that they set up to get the parts and necessary service that were included in our contract. Needless to say there were no parts (ie.one key and 2 remote controls). We were told call a Chevrolet dealer to get a key. These keys must be programed by a service department. We paid cash for our car and did not dicker on price. We trusted what we were told and what was written into the contract. Our salesperson was Richard Posner and he has been NO help. Stay away from this dealership and spend your money with an honest dealer and salesperson.

I do not recommend El Cajon Mitsubishi. Came here to Mitsu with my husband to inquire about a new car. They didn't have much of a selection here, I was kind of surpised. When my husband spoke to the owner Chris on the phone, he said his dealership had the best prices and selection in town (and in the country). Well I soon realized this couldn't be further from the truth. There were very few cars there for sale. Chris and another employee (Mike?) steered us away from the car we were most interested in and refused to tell us a price. We clearly stated we'd be paying cash, but Chris was rude and aggressive, saying he had to check our credit histories, either way. Another young kid working there approached us off to the side and whispered, "that's the policy here, you have to give us your information, and if your credit checks out we'll let you drive one of these bad boys." Incredibly shady to say the least and raised a huge red flag. We were so angry that they wasted our time like that and headed for the door. Mike came running over and said tried to then tell us about a free gift we could get. We bolted for our car and headed to another dealership. The other Mitsubishi place we visited had a much better selection and lower prices on all their cars. Walked out happy and glad we didn't not buy from El Cajon Mitsubishi. There is no reason to try deal with these sharks, unless you want to pay top dollar for a car, give up your entire credit history, and then maybe they'll tell you prices if your lucky. STAY AWAY!!

After deciding to purchase a new car I met up with Shawn while shopping around. I had no Idea what I wanted and was just driving around from place to place until I found a dealer that wouldn't try to push me into buying and would listen to what I wanted in a vehicle. After walking the lot and talking I took a few cars/trucks out for a test drive and decided on a 2013 Dodge Challenger, however it was late and I told him I would be back the next day to sign the paperwork. The next day when I went back I showed a little early and Shawn was out picking up a car I waited and was talking to some of the other dealers and not once did I go in the waiting area because the other employees were talking and making sure that I was being taken care of while I waited. (I was even asked if I would like some food when one of the guys went on a food run!) When Shawn came back he had all the paperwork ready to go. All I did was sign on the lines and I was off in my new ride. The very next day I got a call saying that they did some more looking around and got me a lower interest rate then what I had before! If I wanted to come down and redo the paperwork I would save about $60.00 a month on my already low payment! Needless to say I made a small trip and was there less than 15 total minutes to put some extra money back in my wallet each month. Bottom line is if you are looking for a place to shop around with no pressure and with a group of knowledgeable salesmen whose primary concern is making things as easy on you as possible then go here. When I decide I want to get another car Shawn is going to be the first person I am going to call.

When we pulled up we were bombarded by sales persons. After looking for maybe 30 seconds a nice salesman wearing a polo came up to us he was smiling and shook our hand and greeted us. He asked as questions about what we were looking for and showed us some cars that fit what we needed. Ones was a BMW 745 he said he owned one himself and that's the car we bought. After agreeing on the terms we got a very fair price we signed for the vehicle after we signed we were greeted by The sales man Mike Rush again and he then spent 20 minutes with us showing us the vehicle and teaching us about it. It was very good customer service we sent all out friends and family to mike and 4 have bought within a week of us getting our car.

The old "car dealer" jokes to not apply to this dealership, they were the best! My husband and I were looking for a used Nissan Rogue and they had one with better options and price than any dearlership we had looked at including several Nissan dealerships. We ended up buying the car and since I am temporarily unable to drive, Marie volunteered to drive our old vehicle over 60 miles to our home while my husband and I drove home in our new car. Is that great customer service or what! There was no bait and switch, they shared all of the vehicle history and when we discovered that the navigation card was missing they quickly replaced it. My family was looking for a larger car to accommodate our growing family, and we had many bad experience while looking for a car. We usually use El Cajon Mitsubishi for our service needs, and so we decided to browse their website and see if they had anything that we would be interested in. We saw a 2012 ford explorer limited and we knew that it was 'the one'. We were nervous and not very optimistic but decided we would call and get some information. I was told to submit an application online and they would call me back. I feared the worst. I got a call back in a VERY timely manner. And much to my surprise we were pre approved!!! We loaded up and went to El Cajon Mitsubishi where we were met by Serge. He was already in the parking lot waiting for us, and had the car we were interested in ready for us to look at. He gave us plenty of time to ask any questions we had and look at the car very well. He was helpful and not overbearing. We went for a test drive and he was so friendly with the kids in the backseat, talking to them and really making them feel like they were a part of the experience. He explained all of the features of the car to us in a way we could understand, and again answered our many questions. We brought the car back and decided that it was the one for us. We went inside and we were met by Joe to talk about financing options. He was extremely friendly and helpful. We never once felt pressured or like we were getting bullied into a decision. He made the process much less stressful with his honest answers and friendly demeanor. The entire time we were at this dealership the staff was extremely friendly to us and our children, and we felt right at home. We drove home our dream car and I could not be happier with the experience we had at El Cajon Mitsubishi. These are truly great people, and this is a nice family friendly place to buy a car. I purchased a 2013 Mitsu Evo MR from here and was easy process. Dealt with Mike Hayner and Joe as well as Chris Pozek. No bulls**t run around here. Had been in a couple times prior to look and test drive as well. Then i got the money I was waiting for for the down, so i went in to do the deal and did it. I had to wait extra time due to the funds being released for the amount that i was putting down and then they gave me a better deal than what i had originally had. Also have had my evo serviced here as well and Victor and Rosa are awesome.

Ive owned Mitsubishis for over a dozen years now (an Eclipse and 3 Evos), so Ive had business with a lot of different dealerships. I finally found one which combines both great sales and dependable service. Think that deserves a review. El Cajon Mitsubishi is a pleasure to work with. When buying the last Evo, I did a lot of shopping around. I initially contacted El Cajon by email and a knowledgeable salesman immediately called back. We worked out the details over the phone and these didnt change when I got to the dealership---the value of the trade-in was as expected too. Ive had the new Evo serviced there twiceeach time I knew what cost would be (with no surprises) and it was done when supposed to be, no waiting around more than expected. Last week El Cajon passed (and with flying colors) the ultimate test for a dealershipa manufacturers recall. Mitsubishi found a defect in the Master Cylinder and all late model Evos need to have it repaired at no cost to the owner. I contacted El Cajon and it all went smoothly. They had the parts on hand (no delay to order!!!) and customer service was easy about setting up a time to have it done. Couldnt have been happier with the the whole experience. My favorite dealership for my favorite car!

i bought a car from them and test drove it around the block and didnt think that i had to really get on the gas to find a problem. i trusted that when i bought the car from a dealer and they said it had been thoroughly inspected that it had. WOW was i wrong a few days later i noticed the clutch was slipping when i went above 3k rpm i called them and told them and they said to bring it to a repair facility locally here in az so i did and they said it was the clutch and flywheel. when the dealer faxed them the estimate they then declined to pay like they originally said they would. not to mention reason i drove to california was for the car and a payment they promised me guaranteed and when i got there a whole different story. This is the WORST car buying experience i have ever had by far. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE

I was in the market for a third Evo (Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution), a car which many dealers with jack up the price on once you show up as stock is limited. This was NOT the case with El Cajon! They stood by their price and even went to great lengths to get the options I wanted (thanks, guys!!). No fast tricks, invoice switching, incompetent service, tactics I've experienced at other dealerships, especially locally. Communication before and AFTER sale awesome, service has been great!!! I even drive several hours just to get service from them!! Chris, the manager, Joe, and Michael H. will close the deal at a good price, and get you the car you want. I've been very happy and refer anyone I know looking to buy a car - go to El Cajon!

I was attempting to buy a used car. I contacted them via e-mail. Informed them that I lived far away from the dealership and would like to negotiate before coming in. After a few e-mails back and forth they asked me to call. When I called the person that I was communicating with via e-mail put me on hold so that she could get back to her desk. She never came back on the phone. Instead a man picked up. Never told me his name. Informed me that price was very good. When I informed him that similar cars were priced less, he asked why I was calling them then. He then informed me that the dealership would not talk price over the phone or e-mail. Not sure who he was, but he was very rude. I also feel as though they wasted my time. If they did not feel like negotiating over e-mail or telephone, they could have simply informed me that was not their policy.

Walked with a 2009 sports car that I was upside down on quite a bit. They offered me a good trade in price and then worked with me to make a deal on the car I was looking at. My salesman, Shawn, was awesome, up front, and helpful. The managerial staff was on point and so was finance. Buying a car in California is usually very time consuming because of the amount of paperwork the state requires. The attention to detail, accuracy, and hustle of the staff made things smooth and quick. I would easily recommend them and share my experience with others!

People you can really talk to and tell them what you need. Quick service. The GM Chris Pozek is very concerned with making you completely happy so you come back again and again. I bought an Evo from them and just has the first oil change done - and one on my other Evo. I plan to have both Evos serviced there into the far future!!

I brought Evo X in FL, i moved to Cali about 6 months ago and literary my car died all in a week, my clutch flywheel brake master cylinder clutch master cylinder X_x. I had no idea what to do then i a friend of mine introduced me to ECM, they are pretty friendly and took car of me they understood my pockets where a little tight and helped me to get my Evo back up and in the mean time gave me a rental car until my repairs were complete. I don't know of anyone dealer that cares enough to even consider to do something like that but anyway, i would recommenced them to anyone not just mitsu owners but anyone that needed good quality service something that is hard to find in today's world =:D

We were given many options of what we were looking for, for the right vehicle we wanted. The staff went beyond that extra mile to make sure we were satisfied with what we were purchasing at the right price with excellent warranties on vehicle. We purchased a 2013 lancer ES and am very happy with it as it will save me much more money on the gas mileage having switched my vehicle from a gas hogger. I found website on craigslist and called and spoke to Michael Hayner. As I was without transportation, he made arrangements for Marie Baston to pick us up at our home and take us to dealership. Wonderful pair of salespeople. Showed us one car but it wasn't available, which turned out to be a good thing and then showed us a 2011 Suziki SX4 and it was a wonderful car. Worked with me about financing and got me a great deal and I drove off with this cool car. I am very happy with all the customer sevice I received from the salespeople at the dealership. This is a unique dealership as they go out of their way to help you get the car and the payments that you can afford. Considering I work in a customer service oriented job field, the salespeople and manager delivered excellent customer service and were not pushy at all. They worked with me and understood that I had a financial price range in mind. i am so thankful for el cajon mitsubishi. i have been at many other "stuffy" dealerships, el cajon mitsubishi is different. i originally called, and was put in touch with a sales rep named joe raymond. he answered my questions, and set an appointment for me. when i showed up, i was greeted by joe. he is a big guy. he had a chin line beard, khaki pants on, as well as gym shoes. so did i. he is a working man's man. it made me so comfortable and at ease since he was dressed the same way i was. i will make sure i refer all my family and friends to el cajon mitsubishi, so they can get the same relaxed treatment from joe raymond. thank you so much joe for being you and making it easy for me to buy 2 CARS IN THE SAME DAY!!!

I have owned two Mitsubishi vehicles in my lifetime. My first Mitsubishi Mirage lasted over 10 years and would have kept on going if it wasnt for an accident that totaled the vehicle out. I then got my Mitsubishi Lancer, and boy, do I love my car, even named her Jade. But, I can see that there is a special group of folks down at El Cajon Mitsubishi that love my car even more than I do! There is SO much to be said about the Managers, Service Techs, and all the other people it takes to make up the great team at El Cajon Mitsubishi. First experience, my electronic key decided not to work, so I was stuck in the middle of a parking lot, nowhere to go. I called another Mitsubishi location, which advised they would be able to squeeze me in next week! I then called El Cajon Mitsubishi, who came to pick up my vehicle as well as myself, gave me the rundown fast and quick, and sent me off in a loaner vehicle advising me all would be taken care of and they came through with their word! Second item, my Lancer gets hit while its parked! El Cajon Mitsubishi fixed the bumper under warranty and replaced the whole bumper! Third issue and MOST important issue and the absolute proof of GREAT customer service; my vehicle would not shift out of the P gear, again, El Cajon Mitsubishi to the rescue! The came to get my vehicle from work so that I would not be inconvenienced and set me up with a Hertz luxury rental until my vehicle was assessed and fixed. Now, the part that was broken WAS covered under my 60k Warranty but I just hit 65k on the odometer. Out of good faith Mitsubishi replaced the part for free! There are not too many places I trust when it comes to service but I give El Cajon Mitsubishi, 5 stars, two thumbs up, and a 10+ on the rating scale. I want to give a big THANK YOU to all my new friends over at El Cajon Mitsubishi; you are ALL superstars in my book, from Chris the Manager, to Rosa and Travis in Service, and to Jose & Pablo out on the Lot! I look forward to seeing you guys again for my next service need(s).

Last year my husband and I decided we needed to upgrade our current vehicles and had heard thru past customers that El Cajon Mitsubishi was the place to go. We have a large family and are military and were hesitant because other dealerships had tried to get us to purchase vehicles we hadn't asked for and could not afford. Spoke with Chris Pozek on the phone and told him we were looking for a 9 passenger SUV and an economy car. He said he thought he had exactly what we were looking for. We headed over to the dealership where we were immediately greeted by friendly salespersons. Normally, when u call asking about vehicles you arrive at a dealership and no one has a clue why you are there. No the case. I told them my name and was immediately shown the vehicles that fit exactly what we were looking for. In the price range we had specified. We test drove the Tahoe and the Camry right away and loved the vehicles. Then came the time most dread. Talking payments. Again, normally when you tell a dealership what you can afford they try and get you to go above that payment. Not this dealership! They worked the deals under our requested payments!! We were so pleased with our purchases that 6 months later when I realized that I needed a 9 passenger SUV that also had more storage space I called Chris and the next day we were test driving a Suburban. While there we also decided that we really wanted a sporty car and fell in love with a Camaro. Within 2 hours were off the lot with 2 more vehicles! When my Ion, which I hadn't even purchased at El Cajon Mitsubishi broke down i phoned Chris for a recommendation.Chris and his crew said to bring it in and they could fix it. I expected like any other dealership to be without my car for an extended amount of time at inflated rates. Definitely satisfied with the outcome! My vehicle was repaired in a timely matter and at a very reasonable rate! At El Cajon Mitsubishi you are not just a customer, you are family. I recommend this dealership to everyone!!

From the general manager Chris Pozek to Joe Raymond, sales staff; Avery, Abe, Mike, and finace folks; Tracy and Chad my experience was phenominal. They got me into an affordable truck still under factory warranty and with an interest rate that was the lowest I've had since Chapter 7. I would buy from them again in the future!

We had just come from another dealership looking at a 2013 Outlander Sport and we were on the fence about the cost and our salesman. I called Chris at El Cajon Mitsubishi, who happens to be the GM, around 8:50pm on a Wednesday night, when the dealership closed at 9:00pm, and he said to come on in and he will stay until 2:00am if need be to make sure we were satisfied with the vehicle we wanted to purchase. We almost did just that. We ended up being in the dealership until a little after midnight only because we had such a great time visiting with our sales associate Alan and the GM Chris. We ended up eating dinner with the office since we did not have the opportunity before venturing into dealership. They, unfortunately, did not have the exact vehicle we decided on however they were able to locate one elsewhere and Alan went to pick it up and drove it personally in order to have it delivered for us within two days. Not only did we get the vehicle we wanted we also did not have to haggle with the price because they put their best offer on the table to begin with and it beat any offer we had received previously. Their main concern is the customer?s satisfaction not only with the vehicle but with the service they receive; definitely no games here at this dealership. We were very impressed and, as a result, I will never buy a car anywhere else! We even brought a friend along with us who also owns a Mitsubishi and he has now changed his preferred service location to El Cajon Mitsubishi due to the exceptional service we received. Thank you El Cajon Mitsubishi for such a great car buying experience and we look forward to seeing you at least every 3,000 miles.

Test drove a used Mini at this dealer with my wife and the salesman. The salesman was helpful and friendly. The vehicle had a clutch that was slipping very badly and the clutch didn't grab until it was just about fully released. When I mentioned that to the manager, he denied that there was anything wrong with the unit. He's clearly trying to push a bad car on an uneducated buyer. I don't need that.

I am writing you to let you know about the excellent service I recieved from the gentlemen in your service department. Both Chris and James have a high level of customer service and technical skills thah make them far above average.I recently bought a 2005 Mitsubhishi Outlander and needed to get a variety of small issues taken care of right after I purchased the car. After I first called your Service Department, I was impressed by how polite and friendly both Chris and James were over the phone. Then, when I needed to come in that same afternoon, Chris made sure to fit me in. Later, after I arrived, while Chris was taking care of my repair issue, James looked up my VIN in your system and found a recall issue with a cooling fan that needed to be taken care of. If he hadn't done this, I would have never known it existed.This is the type of service that a customer really appreciates. Both these guys are friendly and personable as well as on top of taking care of business. I went to your dealership three times in one week and every time they went out of their way to be sure that all of my issues were taken care of. We made sure to crack a few jokes along the way to make the fact that I was paying out extra money right after purchasing a car, a little less painful.So, when it comes time for Chris and James review, bonus or increase, please know that you have two great employees, who are an asset to the community who frequents your busines. I also hd a great service form David in parts and Joe, the mechaninc. Finally, although it's not business realted, both of them and their boss Brad are pretty hot. Please keep up the great work. I purchased a blue Mazda 3i from this dealership a couple weeks ago before I went on vacation. It was advertised on AOL (http://autos.aol.com/used-list/exp-301) as having air conditioning. Granted, I should have checked myself, but it happened to be the one thing I overlooked. I should have known better than to believe something would come as advertised. However, you would think an honest car dealership would point out the major deficiency of no A/C, especially in Southern California. Especially when the saleswoman claimed to be a personal friend of the last owner. Now, the advertisement is gone.From the moment my wife and I walked in, this place was sketchy. A bunch of skeevy dudes hanging out and hitting on my wife when I went to the bathroom (true story). This dealership is the reason you can't trust anyone. If for some ungodly reason you do decide to buy a car from these people...well just please, don't.I get nothing out of writing this review, I just hope it saves someone else the enormous disappointment I feel.
