Friendly people, good price but the used car that I bought needed an oil change and break fluid service the very next day and they didn't do that for me!!! I spend $350 just for the services that was due and didn't get done .!!

I traveled to work about 80 miles round trip per day. I need a vehicle that great on gas and power going up the hills. I was undecided about getting regular gas car or Hybrid. I test drove a lot of vehicles from Toyota, Nissan, and Lexus but nothing come closed to Honda Accord Hybrid Touring.

Biggest crooked. FRAUUUDDDDDDDD.Worst possible sales and service dealership. do not deal with them at all. Mark ( finance manager) will trap you in a bunch of crap and put you in the high interest rate loan. they always mis-sell their auto loans. mark will tell you if you buy gap insurance and 5-year maintenance and tire contract, the interest rate will be 2.99%, if you do not buy that crap, your rate will be 9.99%. if you get trapped in that 5-year maintenance and tire contract, they will rip you off. when I asked them to replace my honda accord tires under the contract, they right away refused it making a bunch of excuses. now I have to run around to get my tires replaces and I have to go to court to get the contract enforced. they are a big SCAM. PLEASE BEWARE.

The first airbag recall I had a year ago, they cracked the plate on my dashboard while replacing the airbag and will not fix it. (I've called about it multiple times and been in. They took pictures when i pointed it out to them initially and that was as much as they did.) The second airbag recall I had on the drivers side was this year. They said the part would be in in 2 weeks. I called 5 weeks later and they had no record of my replacement airbag and told me "At least it isn't an urgent issue that needs to be fixed". I disagree. Anyway, during this call they looked in the back and said there was a part in that I could have and made an appt for the following week. They were very rude that entire phone call. I thought that was strange since I was very patient about the whole thing and they were supposed to call me with the part in after 2 weeks and it had been 5. When I finally got in for this driver's side replacement airbag the man that took care of my car was very nice so that was good.

The service member who helped me was very friendly and helpful, you could enjoy he liked working at Elk Grove Honda. I showed up at 9:15 AM on a Saturday without an appointment for an oil change and even though he said they had about 30 cars ahead of me, they were happy to help. They told me it would take about two hours, but since I had things to do, that worked for my schedule. They called when it was finished (about 2:15 hours later) and and worked with my schedule.I will enjoy taking my car there again!

The only thing I can think of to improve on is this: Make sure the customer knows to go pay first then they will have someone talk to you about the repairs, because when the shuttle dropped me off at the dealership after my car was fixed, I didn't know quite what the next step was. I stood outside a minute or two then went inside and waited a few minutes, then I stopped a employee going by and asked and they told me to go to the cashier and pay and someone would come explain the repairs and answer any questions I had.

Let me take this opportunity to thank and appreciate the Servicing Staff of Elk Grove Honda. Besides their prompt process and professionalism that is well recommendable to others; I'm much more delighted and satisfied to the service I received due to the fact that they took time to explain the deficiencies they found, the cost they've assessed to repair and the possible effect on the health of my vehicle and myself in its usage. However, with the identified issues on my Honda Pilot 2003 with only 68K miles, I believed that the wear out of the parts were premature that they should consider reporting to Honda manufacturer for review for product improvement rather than using the age of the vehicle to protect responsibility. I believed that even from the research and development stage, each part on each vehicle have an allowable operating time for nothing in this world is permanent. To be specific, the issues of rear main seal, outer tie rod, ball joint boots and lower control arm rubber bushings being cracked or torn causing leaks or damage; understanding that these parts are subjected to temperature and weather, shouldn't that the Technicians experiencing a day to day of similar issues like this as they told me that they're fixing, should raise a concern that there might be inferiority in the manufacturing of the parts? Again, manufacturing of the parts is what I'm identifying as possible inferiority not the assembly. I believed that Honda Motors engineers and designer knows the functionality of each parts and allowable operating time but do they know the mixture in each rubber pieces on its manufacturing that they seem to be inferior cracking and tearing prematurely. I'm basing this on the mileage of usage of my vehicle.I loved my Honda Pilot for it is like a trophy for me since I bought it new and irreplaceable in my belief. That's why I'm so concern to its integrity, safety and road worthiness. I had driven it in four(4) times coast to coast and never failed me yet except its aging. Again, a job well done for the Elk Grove Honda Service Staff specially Mr. Jerry Phearson, that even though I did not buy the vehicle from them, they're always willing to do the right thing in keeping my vehicle to its top state.

first of all I would like to thank Elk Grove Honda for such a great experience on purchasing a vehicle. also providing me a good amount for my 2007 Civic Honda LX. the staff is wonderful treated me well with first class customer service, can you get any better than that I think not!! beginning with the gentleman named Willie, they call him Bobo, he is the service manager of maintenance, I believe, he actually took the time to assist me even though they were very busy with many customers. He gave one on one customer service & made me feel very important and listened to my concerns. he actually sat down with me and assisted me with the blue book for my 2007 Civic and then introduced me to a fine gentleman by the name of Barry where he also took the time to assist me and within minutes I ended up with a new vehicle which I love!! Another wonderful gentleman by the name of Gil assisted me and another gentleman named Peter who both gave good customer service and any questions I had they were ready to answer. let me mention Barbara who is very informative and sincere and does a very good job of answering any question at signing the contract. she is very wonderful!! also when I took a friend to Elk Grove Honda everyone addressed her, she has stated that she never thought to go to a Honda dealership but fell in love with the attention and Elk Grove Honda was giving her. so I'm here to tell you the experience was great and will I come back, you bet!! will I tell others of this great experience yes and I already have. I came in for a routine minor service. The guy who wrote the invoice was friendly, efficient and informative. I then took a 45 minute walk around the neighborhood. Upon my return, the work was,finished. The guy explained the items on the invoice and informed my that they changed several dirty filters. I am very satisfied. The experience couldn't have been made easier for me. I hope all of this "quest for absolute perfection" that many businesses have these days doesn't stress the employees too bad, though.

Paid $110 for the service department to tell me that my power locks do not work, which is why I took it in. They also told me what tread is left on my tires and that a windshield wiper may need replacing, They kept my car all day for this-terrible service. Do not take your car in to this dealer for service

Gil from the internet department was WONDERFUL!!! However, the customer service after that was horrid. When it was time to sign the contract they had spelled my name incorrectly so we fixed it right then and there. I received a call 2 days after saying they had made a mistake, so my co-signer and I had to go back in and fix it. Which wasn't a problem people make mistakes and I understand that. My registration comes in the mail and I didn't care to look at it because we had taken care of the problem.Well a couple days later I had to look at my registration for some reason and noticed my name was spelled so wrong it was ridiculous. I call Elk Grove Honda right then and leave a message for the DMV clerk. I waited a while and hear nothing - I called again same thing happened. So now I feel like I have no choice but to go in and talk to someone face to face. The DMV clerk isn't there on weekends so I leave a message with the receptionist. I wait 2 weeks or so and here nothing! At this point I am more than irritated with this place! C'mon people! Get it together! I leased my car in AUGUST 14 and it is now DECEMBER 14! I call and ask for the DMV clerk one more time- of course she calls in sick that morning so I ask to speak with a manager and I got hung up on. I re-call and ask for the GM. I spoke with Maggie Tadlock she seemed nice and sounded like she was going to handle the problem. She told me should call me back that day and I asked her to leave me a voicemail that I would be at work. Mind you that was Weds morning at 10, it is now Saturday. Next time I want to lease a car or buy one again, I won't even consider Elk Grove Honda. I don't like to be THAT customer but this is sooo ridiculous!

The last service I had was an oil change. It was speedy, efficient, a GOOD experience. Jimmy waited on me. He was great. I saw ____ Silva a couple days later and made a point to tell him that he had reason to be proud of his department.

Have visited Elk Grove Honda and on a few occasions have been fortunate to have Jimmie Lee as my representative. Most recently on10/20/14, Jimmie gave excellent service to my most recent routine Accord service. He is knowledgeable, takes time to discuss the service and goes above standard customer care. Elk Grove Honda service area is the place to go for service and of course, after you have purchased a vehicle from them.

I am proud to be a Honda owner because of the most awesome treatment and care for myself and my cars from your service team. Elk Grove Honda service department deserves the best ratings. I told my best friend to purchase a Honda last year from Elk Grove mainly because I could personally vouch for the excellent service and I also appreciated the buying experience I went through last June. There wasn't any pressure and I could take my time and the sales rep Roy, did an honest job. The service advisors are very special, and they make me feel like I am the most valued. I may not remember all their names but the ones I do are, Jerry, Dave, Jaime, Brian, Peter, and now my favorite mechanic, Todd. Thank you all and I am a loyal Honda driver because of all of you. I have been driving Hondas since 1991.

I was so pleased with my recent experience at Elk Grove Honda's Collision Center. The staff had a positive attitude and were so helpful! My car needed to be repainted due to defective paint. It was down to the wire, with the recall about to expire, but they took the job on and worked overtime to get it done for me! My car's paint looks outstanding now!

I drove over two hours to check out a car they had listed. Well worth the drive. I was replacing my old very tired element, found they had one listed with low mileage. Called and asked a few questions. Drive down that evening. They stayed after hours to make the deal happen. Great staff great financing. Would totally buy a car from them again.

I went car shopping over the long Thanksgiving weekend to 5 dealers around the Sacramento area. By far, the nicest salesperson was Mike C. at Elk Grove Honda. He wasn't pushy. He answered all our questions, and when we came back a few days later for a test drive, he was ready with keys in hand at the appointed time.The car we eventually bought was for the exact price we found in the paper. No extra gimmicks were added. We also thought we got a fair price on our trade-in (they use the "black book" to determine prices). Barbara in the front office was helpful. We didn't have to wait around a long time for financing offers. Overall, this was a great car buying experience!

I brought my Accord in for an oil change. 7 days later I noticed drips on the floor of my garage. The drips were clear and when I smelled them, they smelled like oil. The car dripped 7 spots in one day, so I brought it back to the dealership thinking the filter had not been screwed on tightly.The mechanics said it was a transmission fluid leak and I needed to make an appointment to bring it back for a diagnosis. My 16 year old son brought the car back. At that time he was told it was an oil leak and the rear main seal needed to be replaced to the tune of $888. I took my car to my mechanic who looked at the rear main seal and found it to be fine. The drips were not happening fast enough for him to determine where the problem was. I took the car home and drove it for another few days after which I checked again and there were no drips.My mechanic deduced it was most likely overfilling the oil when the oil was changed.I am disgusted at the service I and my son received. First, the mechanics cannot tell the difference between oil and transmission fluid. I feel I was bilked out of $55 to have a transmission fluid leak analyzed when it was actually an oil leak. I feel like someone thought it would be easy to take advantage of a woman and a young teenager. I also shelled out another $90 to have my mechanic look at it and in the end to find out it was a simple problem of overfilling the oil when it was changed. I am now out $145 due to the incompetence of the mechanics or someone thinking I was an easy mark.
