We had a good salesperson, but had a bad impression of the organization he worked for. Very disappointing trade offer. Very misleading vehicle description. Significant damage to the vehicle wasn't mentioned at all in the ad. Very bad communication. No emails returned sent to multiple addresses. Very dated showroom. Left with the feeling this was a dealership in transition. Astonished at how little this dealer wanted to close a sale. We were there to buy that day and were treated as though we were stopping by to have a tire fixed. Sure, there was no pressure, but I seriously felt like I would need to bring my own pen to sign the paperwork because they cared so little about sending me home in a new car.

Was looking to purchase a used truck for a few weeks then finally called the dealer and talk to Logan. After a few weeks of looking and my work hours finally was able to go look in person. And was happy to find a 2005 f-150. We arrived at 9 am and didn't leave till 2 pm which the truck came from the evansville store, but, seemed like we was always pushed back and made to wait. So hoping it was a Bad day there and all. Glad we did not have any prior appointments that day. Yes I will go back and buy another truck from there at a later date just hope it won't take a long time.

Purchased a used Acadia, within the first week and two dealerships later, timing cover gasket leak, timing chain, rack and pinion, outer tie rod ins, struts and strut mounts, a/c blend door, battery, and rear speaker. For the past three months, we have had the Acadia in and out of two dealerships with an oil leak that was found the day after we purchased it. The leak was easily found as oil was found dripping from the drain plug which SHOULD have put the service tech on notice that there was an oil leak during the oil change performed by Expressways service department. We contacted salesman Mark Goldman the next day after the purchase and was told we were out of warranty. We also contacted the manager, Josh, but also would not offer a real fix. We were offered to trade it in on another vehicle, but Josh would only value our Acadia at $7500 which would require us to take a $4400 loss (for three months use) on the trade in value AND almost $3000 loss in repairs. Of course, we refused to accept this as a fix. We understand we purchased a used vehicle and did not expect a reimbursement but we did ask for some relief, however, they would not respond to calls or emails. We will never purchase from Expressway again!

Words cannot truly describe how this dealership operates. I had to ask the receptionist for a salesperson. The winner of the race that ensued was Dennis Johnson. Upon entering his office and stating my name for the second and third time we muddled through all the standard name/address/phone number process. In the next 45 minutes he and a guy I had never seen took my truck for a drive without asking me or telling me where they were going. Long story short, I was told what the price would be for a 2016 and that I couldn't buy a 2015, after waiting 45 minutes for an answer to my original question. The salesman would not pay attention to me, and acted like I was putting him out to be there. I have worked in sales and this place takes the cake for the all time worst excuse for a dealership I have ever seen. This had nothing to do with money. I would not have purchased a vehicle from them for any price after the treatment I received.

Logan schmitt greeted me as soon as I got out of my rental and took me on an adventure to find my perfect car. The vehicle I desired had become unavailable so he noted my likes and dislikes and came up with a Cadillac cts. The process was a bit long in my case but Logan was patient. A natural at small talk, he kept me engaged and involved. I'm not sure I could have ran into a more professional sales associate than him. He not only cared about my preferences but was just as pleased with my purchase. I am completely overjoyed by his efforts.

We went there with the intent to buy a preowned truck. Within 5 minutes a salesperson started aiding us in finding the truck that fit our needs including price. We found that all of the people there were very friendly, outgoing and willing to help us find the "perfect truck". I will tell you in times past it took more than 6 hours to purchase a vehicle at other dealerships. But this one was out the door in less than 3 hours. It was wow what just happened. One of the things I appreciated was every 15 to 20 minutes the sales person was touching base with us to 1. update us on where we were at in the process and 2. to see if we needed anything ie. coffee, coke or water. I would suggest you check them out you won't be let down.

On Tuesday, June 24 I contacted Expressway Ford in regards to a Ford Fusion I had seen online. Dan Ko answered the phone and immediately helped me out. The Fusion I was calling about had been sold, but he shared information about another Fusion that was similar in what I was looking for. After listening to my dilemma about being unable to come out and immediately look at this Fusion, he offered to have a driver come and pick me up at my home in Robards, Ky. Upon arriving the Fusion I was interested in was pulled up and waiting for me to look at. Since my time is valuable this really impressed me. Dan was very professional and courteous through the test drive and throughout the negotiating process and final sale. Knowing this was just the first of two vehicles my husband and I were wanting to purchase, I immediately knew that I had to come back to Expressway and have Dan help find our second vehicle. Less than twenty-four hours later we were back and greeted with the same professionalism and courtesy. I am happy to say that our second vehicle was purchased through Dan. We came from 3 hrs away to look at a van posted on cars.com. We found it not to our liking, but Cory had a much better van to a comparably better price and we liked it immediately. We only later found out that the spare tire including the mounting gear was missing. When we called the dealership they offered to fix it. But since we live so far away, they agreed to have the spare tire and mounting gear bought and installed by our local mechanic. We were sent a check for the amount our mechanic charged. Cory was very pleasant and never pushy and extremely helpful when we ran into that problem. We were pleasantly surprised by how they dealt with the problem. Thank you!

STAY AWAY!!!! As an internet used car buyer, I'll start by saying that my initial experience with this dealer was fantastic. I found a car they had online, and since I live about 175 mile away, I made arrangements to visit them later in the week. During the visit, they were courteous, accommodating and made the process easy. We agreed to a price and financing, as well as to have the car delivered to me 3 days later (I visited on a Friday, and the car was to be delivered on Monday). THEN, THE SHENANIGANS BEGAN. On Monday, I called to see what time the car would be delivered, only to be SHOCKED with the news that once the car had been "prepped for final delivery," IT WAS SOLD TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER due to an internal miscommunication. I was then offered to buy another car, with less miles on it, FOR MORE MONEY. Classic bait and switch, in my opinion. I told the Sales Manager (NIck) that I expected to hear from him in 48 hours with an option that was equal to my original agreement. Seven days came and went, and I finally called to inquire about next steps, only to be put on hold because "Nick wasn't available." After four calls, I found out that Nick wasn't even working that day. After threatening to involve my attorney, then, and only then, did they magically inform me that "their owner had purchased a car with me in mind that very same day." In the end, I bought a car from another dealer (Sneed Ford just outside of Kansas City), who was fantastic to work with (see my review of them).

I just bought a Car from Jerry Schmitt yesterday (05/02/14, I was very impressed with the dealership and experience working with Jerry. A miscommunication between Jerry and me occurred, long story short Jerry thought I was interested in a different ford edge than what he had pulled up for me. Immediately I was thinking "great, hear comes the upsell pitch." I was wrong though, Jerry still honored the online price special of the vehicle and exceeded my expectations. I live in Indianapolis, and looked around at different prices at the numerous (large) dealerships up there. I never would have guessed my dream car was going to be at a dealer ships in the of the corn fields of Mt.Vernon, IN. BOTTOM LINE: Save your money and shop with piece of mind. I had such a professional and positive experience buying a truck at Expressway Ford in Mount Vernon. I cannot say enough about the customer service that Matt Hostetler showed us in purchasing our truck. I must first state that I'm not a ford lover. This car was exceptionally clean, and very well cared for. The quality of the car they sold me was absolutely outstanding! Our sales rep was Chad Lynn, he did a fantastic job. He listened carefully to what I wanted in a car, and this fit the bill. He was honest the entire time we were looking. My husband said I was searching for a unicorn..LOL. Chad got us an awesome deal on this car. He is a no nonsense, down to earth guy. The dealership itself is rather large (20 acres). We were at the ford building. It did take a little while to write up the paperwork (but it wasn't extremely long, we paid cash). There was a massive indoor play gym similar to Mcdonalds for our children to play on while we waited. The sales team & a few of the service people spoke to us & our children while we waited..all very nice. They made sure the car was detailed and full of gas before I came to pick it up. Also through in some expressway ford can koozies & chip clips :) The only down falls I see with expressway mt.vernon is its really big, they have a store in evansville also. I would only recommend expressway mt. vernon. I have called to the evansville office to ask about a car...its always how much per month? are you interested in this car? No, I'm calling about a jet fighter...of course im interested in that car..duh! They always try to get you into a different car than what you are interested in. Also make sure that the car is on which lot, Since the dealership is so big, they have sales reps that ride around in their cars or golf carts. I find this to be true with most big dealers. Its a good/bad thing for myself. Sometimes I needed help and there was no one, other times you don't and their flocking you. I think this is just my personal preference though. We really enjoyed buying a car from the mt.vernon bunch of people, they can also have any of the evansville cars sent to them which i would say is a no brainer..they are just better up there! The ford showroom was an added plus, its full of vintage shelbys, and great looking new cars as well as great old signs/memorabilia.

Went to look at 2012 Chrysler 300 limited they had listed in the advertisement. Talked to sales rep several times as I was driving over 2.5 hrs to dealership to take a look at their cars. When i arrived they had the 300 sitting right up front and i immediately noticed the damage to back bumper,, bottom bumper had been scraped on something and had basically parts of it shaved off. There was a huge gash on passenger side bumper, overall damage to vehicle was $1000 easy, that i was not told about before I made the 2.5 hr trip. Looked at about 4 other 300's they had on the lot and every singe one had some time of significant damage, and they would not negotiate the price of any of the vehicles. Overall disappointed, especially since i was driving so far to look at their vehicles. Went to dealer in home town next day and bought a 300 exactly the same miles, features, price with no damage.

Because of the great experience my friend and I had in March of 2012 whenever he purchased his Pontiac G6 hard-top convertable, I decided to call the salesman, Cory Bolerjack, after my truck was wrecked and I needed to purchase another one. I phoned Cory on Friday, Feb 8, 2013 and let him know whaat I was looking for and that I'd be visiting the dealership on the following Monday. Upon arival I took off to search for something on the used car lot or at least get an idea of what was there. WOW!!! so many to choose from. I eyed a little red older model truck. It was a little beat up but I thought it might be in my price range and was prepared to settle for that. I went back to the showroom not knowing that Cory had already found a truck and had it ready for me to look at. What a nice little Chevy S10. It was newer than what I was expecting and boy was it clean and the truck was much better than what I thought they'd show me. The keys were handed to me, hassle free, and Cory said take it and try it out. He made it clear that I didn't need to hurry, just see if it was what I was looking for. Well, it was perfect. Cory really seemed to know how to listen and hear what his people are needing and wanting. Cory took my info and I thought I'd try to get financed, even though my last loan was made over 30 years ago and I had a couple of old medical bills I was trying to pay off. I was introduced to Linc Pierce, a loan officer. He had sent my loan off for aproval to several banks. I discovered that because I didn't have a recent credit history that I didn't even have a credit score. I could tell that Lincs brain gears were trying to come up with a creative way to get me the truck after a couple of denials came back. And after a moment of being on pins and needles Lincs face changed and he almost shouted to me, "Hey, Heritage has aproved your loan!" I did use a co-signer to be safe, but Linc came through and got me on track to a new credit history. NEVER, EVER did anyone at the dealer make me feel uncomfortable or less of a person because of my lousy credit history. I knew they were sincere and honest and would do whatever they could to help get me into a vehical. Thanks a million!

I dealt with Richard and Jeff in the Service department. Bought a used 2009 Ford Expedition from Expressway Dodge which needed some things fixed while still under warranty. I cannot believe the AWESOME service I received from these two, and I know there technicians worked very hard as well. I've never seen a cleaner service area. They had to keep my SUV for a week, but kept me informed as to what was going on as they had to order various parts. Now they are fixing something for me that Expressway Dodge should be taking care of. What a differnce in service you receive from these two places. Mt. Vernon is a little out of the way for me, but the customer service I have received from these two is worth the trip. I will be back. I haven't purchased a vehicle there, but if their service department is any indication of what they offer, I would encourage anyone to try them out. They are truly there to take care of their customers ! ! ! A++ for Customer Service

As I stated in my e-mail to the dealership, other companies can learn something Ford Motor Company in customer care and relationship. Not once did I feel I was "falling through the cracks". I received pre-visit dealership contacts that were appropriate i.e. not pushy or obnoxious, but wanting to verify my continued interest--afterall, everyone's time has value. I also knew beforehand, who the sales consultant would be; to me, having a point of contact is important. The "details" i.e. titles for trade-ins were managed by the dealer, I did not have to chase all over town to do the "fetching" of documents. I intend to enjoy my 2011 Fusion for years to come.
