I made an appointment to have service done for a recall on my 2015 Silverado. The service was completed within the time I was told and was actually done a little early. The staff at the service department was very courteous. They also displayed an attitude that showed they cared about my time as I planned to wait on the work to be completed. They suggested that I go ahead and get the oil changed and have my tires rotated while I was there. I agreed to those services and it was all completed within the original time that was expected for the recall service. I appreciated those suggestions and now I don't have to return for those other services at a later time.

They make something that shouldn't be difficult just that.... DIFFICULT! Be preared to have a lien release from your bank where your vehicle was financed if you want to cancel & get a refund on your unused extended warranty. We didn't purchase our newest vehicle from them & I guess this our punishment. That's ok, we got a MUCH better deal in Commerce. Even though we live in the Warner Robins area we will NEVER deal with Five Star again!

My air bag drama came to an end on this visit. I was afraid to drive my SUV toAtlanta due to a DIC alert telling us air bag needs servicing. I was told by service manager, "you are in no danger from driving it with the alert on." Made it there and back. Light continued to come on. It was taken care of by Shannon and I feel safe again. After finding the truck I was looking for online, at this dealership I was contacted by RUSSELL CHRISTMAS. At first everything was fine and he seemed above board, it was a front! The truck had nerf bars added to it and I didn't want them so I asked CHRISTMAS if they could be removed and a credit given, CHRISTMAS stated that they were on the sticker and I had to take what was on there "by federal law"' and he then told me I could take them off and sell them if I didn't want them. I agreed to this and continued with the process and then the xxxxxxxx started. After CHRISTMAS received my checks for full payment of the vehicle he sends me a text from his personal cell phone stating, the nerf bars were not a part of the sticker and that I DIDN'T PAY FOR THEM, THEY WERE PART OF THE FIVE STAR ADVANTAGE PACKAGE, so he would "would take them for me". I told him they were mine and I would take them. Quite interesting that he text me from his personal cell phone to tell me this. CHRISTMAS also told me that I had to put a $500.00 deposit to hold the truck and that It would be refunded unless I wanted to put it towards the payment for the truck, I didn't. Trying to get my deposit back has been the true test showing that CHRISTMAS and the dealership are not honest and don't deal above board. CHRISTMAS wouldn't acknowledge that I wanted my card refunded during several emails between he and I. I guess he doesn't feel as free to talk via company email as he does through a text on his personal cell phone. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!

Brought the Colorado in for an oil change, tire rotation, multi-point inspection and two recalls. I was greeted by Angie as soon as I pulled into the service bay. She was very friendly, courteous and attentive. The computers went down when she started to write up the order, so she pulled out some paperwork and did it the old fashioned way. I didn't have to wait for the computers to come back up. All work was accomplished in a timely manner and I had my truck back early that afternoon. Good job!

My 2012 Suburban was having issues with rough idling and sputtering a bit. this was all due to build up in fuel system as a direct result of the requirements of having ethanol in our gasoline. Upon treatment of the fuel system everything was fine. Drew Moore was my service advisor and he told me what was wrong, and gave me a time to return to pick up the vehicle, it was actually done about an hour before the time stated.

I recently bought a 2009 Chevy Traverse from Five Star Chevrolet and had an interesting experience. I bought the car on Saturday and on Monday the check engine light came on. I admit I was very concerned but my salesman Richard Smith and the service manager Joey Jackson were great in taking care of me. I brought the car back in and found that it had timing issues and sensor problems. Joey had me a rental ready for me to drive and took the car in and completely repaired all the issues at no costs to me. I know that a lot of dealers will say "didn't you buy it used" but I can say that they have changed my opinion about Five Star and the service department there. We all can admit that when you buy a car from a dealer the last thing you want is to have problems, that's why you go to a big dealership to buy a car so you won't experience the troubles with your car. I have bought from other dealers and have never been treated the way I have with Five Star. They care about the customer and want them to feel as though they really matter. I give Five Star and their service department a 5 star rating and if it went to 10 they'd get a 10 too. Thanks Five Star.

My wife and I purchased a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 this past week where we had a terrific sales experience. We also had the distinct pleasure of meeting and working with the best Finance Manager we could imagine. Brandon Holmes welcomed us in his office with a wide and welcoming smile. We chatted for a few minutes then Brandon got to work. He went over every detail of our purchase agreement in a very efficient way (even when answering our interrupting questions he never missed a beat). He demonstrated a breath of knowledge about his job that I have rarely seen. My wife and I were also truly convinced that Brandon enjoys his job and that he demonstrates a keen interest of the customer and the dealership in everything he says or does. Brandon reviewed the many options we had about financing, warranties and protection plans. We probably asked twenty or more questions a in addition to asking him to re-compute varying pricing options so that we could better evaluate the products. Again, he handled all of this expertly and with a calmness that impressed the both of us. At the end of it all, Brandon made us very comfortable about our buying our new truck and we left his office knowing that all the decisions we had made were correct. He even saved us a little on the financing. My wife and I generally have not liked our past vehicle buying experiences and we usually have some second thoughts after the sale. I can tell you honestly that between our salesman, Russell Christmas and our Finance Director, Brandon Holmes this was a truly great buying experience. We have enjoyed our new Chevy truck from the moment we left the dealership and have had no second thoughts about anything. Note: I do miss my 2004 Chevy truck a little. Took my GMC Sierra in for a semi-elusive transmission/misfire issue. Joey Jackson drove the truck out with me and thoroughly assessed the symptoms. He asked lots of questions to ensure that the proper diagnosis was made. After a diagnostic testing, by the service tech Darren, and further discussion with Joey, the problem was identified and the vehicle was repaired quickly and effectively. I so enjoyed driving home from the dealership with a smooth driving truck. Joey Jackson was honest, straightforward and courteous in his dealings with me and Darren took the time to let me know how the diagnostics were progressing. We wanted different tires and they had to be ordered so that delayed getting the truck a few days but that was not a problem with us. This dealership does not keep their written or spoken word. First, the finance manager was totally dishonest about financing and insinuated that Robins Federal credit Union looked more favorable on applicants who purchase an extended warranty and then he also added a tire hazard warranty without our knowledge. The salesman took the vehicle to be detailed and fail to put the mats back in the vehicle so the salesman promised to get us mats and an additional key fob and key, which was listed on the paperwork. We made several visit to the dealership to retrieve these items only to be disappointed. They could not find the original mats so they offered mats that were not compatible with the vehicle and finally gave us all weather mats that collect dirt stating carpeted mats would cost $180. They wanted to charge for programming the key that was owed to us but the salesman did it himself; however, the key fob just got in after 3 months and a follow-up call. Now, they want to charge us to program it but suggested a locksmith would be cheaper. We could not find a locksmith near by to do it without the instructions. I would never purchase a vehicle here again nor do I recommend this dealership to anyone. Buyers beware!

I went to Five Star for basic service to be conducted on my vehicle. The service technician later presented me with an air filter and stated the importance of having it replaced at that moment, I then asked if it could wait for my next scheduled service, he then went on to state "I would not leave out the parking lot with the condition of this air filter because of it's effect to the engine." Well, because I know little to nothing about vehicles and based upon his comment I said okay if it's imperative and it can't wait then okay change it. Now here is the unbelievable part, once I got home and reviewed the vehicle inspection sheet, in the comment area it stated "CUSTOMER REQUESTED AIR FILTER CHANGE" and according to the sheet in the yellow section it was checked under the MAY NEED FUTURE ATTENTION. Five Star service....no thanks.

I purchased a brand new car and was lied to by the finance manager. I was under the impression that GM financial was charging me an extra $150/month for 18 months and that after 18 months it would stop and I'd just pay the original payment. He told me it would save me so much a month and a large amount overall on my car. My credit score wasn't the best so I figured this was probably the best deal I'd get so I went with it. About a month later I started receiving paperwork in the mail. I was signed up for an extended tire hazard warranty that was optional and not required. That's where the extra $150/month was going and obviously the car lot makes money off that or he wouldn't have tried screwing me into buying it. Luckily I was able to cancel it and only pay the payment to GM. If he wouldn't have lied about the warranty and made me think I was required to pay that extra money monthly, I would have been satisfied with my visit. I guess because I was a young female there alone he thought he would take advantage of the situation and screw me over!!!

Recently, my vehicle broke down and I knew it was only the beginning of costly repairs. I was sick of it, knew that I needed dependable transportation but, with my credit being less than spotless, I made several inquiries online. Five Star GMC/Cadillac/Chevrolet/Buick showed an almost persistent desire to try to assist me in acquiring better transportation. At such point, I was willing to accept whatever I could be put into. Finally, I spoke to a sales professional named Kevin Plummer, who said that my current transportation woes weren't a problem at all. Mr. Plummer picked me up from my home, took me to the dealership, where he gathered needed information and went to work. To that point, I thought, "there's no way I'm driving out of here tonight." Mr. Plummer, however, seemed to have the prevailing thought, "there's no way he's not driving out of here. In a nutshell, Mr. Plummer put forth the most diligent effort I've ever seen, in any aspect. I had no down payment, my trade-in was in for repairs and my credit was downright ugly. Mr. Plummer.....after only about a half hour.....came to me and he said "Sir, are you ready to take delivery of a car tonight!" I said "absolutely!!" He shook my hand and said "let's go see it." Mr. Plummer was excellent and.....like I've never seen before.....out the customer's best interest in the forefront. I drove off of Five Star's lot in a 2014 model year vehicle, when I thought the best I could look forward to was one of their "clearance" cars. Just three hours before, I had neither transportation nor a clue. Five Star worked out a great, affordable deal and Mr. Plummer made sure that I left, total satisfied. I would not only recommend Five Star to anyone, but Mr. Kevin Plummer will really go the extra mile. It as truly an indescribable experience!!!

We actually got up to leave and they came out after us for us to come back and see if we could work a deal.. Received a promotional flyer from Five Star Chevrolet in Warner Robins called the Great American Summer Sell Off. It talked about cars that are on sale and had a section where you could scratch off to see if you won a prize. There were three circles to scratch. One said Lottery $2,500, one had a picture of a 2014 Chevrolet Impala, and the third was for a Microsoft Surface 2 Tablet. I scratched the Lottery and it said try again. I scratched the Microsoft Tablet and it said try again. I scratched the Impala and it said winner, implying I had won the new car. I called the phone number on the flyer and gave her the code, and she said she confirmed I was the winner and needed to go to the dealership to claim the prize. I got to the dealership and after being forced to answer a bunch of questions with a salesman, he said let's go see which prize you won. I said what do you mean, I won the car according to the flyer. He said that just because the car was under the winning scratch off area, didn't mean I won the car. He looked at a board and said I won a $2.00 lottery ticket. Deceptive contests and advertising like this reinforces this dealership runs scams and you cannot trust them. I will never buy a car at a Five Star dealership. Buyer beware!

I went to Five Star to have my Saturn repaired. I had just had repairs done to the car at another repair shop. I had spent thousands trying to get everything fixed but I knew my Saturn was on it's last leg. It had 178,000 miles on it and still needed additional repairs. Salesman James Crawford suggested I get a new car. I was reluctant to try as I know I didn't have money for a down payment. But the thought of having a car I could depend on was irresistible. James really went to work for me. I was able to get a 2014 Sonic with no money down and the first payment is not due til October! James was extremely helpful through the whole process. One day I decided to go take at look at the Cadillac's the local dealership right up the road from my work place. Had always thought Cadillacs were for old people, but my husband had been talking about them for months. I pulled up and was promptly greeted by my salesman, David McElligott. He was polite and very friendly. I explained what I wanted to look at and the circumstances to which would have to be met in order for me to purchase a new car. You see, I had two vehicles that I wanted to trade in for the one. Since I was currently driving one of the vehicles, David quickly arranged for the estimator to take a look at my car while we were test driving one of the Cadillac CTS's. He showed me all the bells and whistles and was very knowledgable in regards to the product. When we returned to the showroom, he was able to quickly get a run down on the numbers for the deal I was trying to make. I did not purchase the car that dayneeded to go home and discuss with my husband. We looked at the different styles of Cadillacs and decided on the small version, the ATS. So the next day, I went back to the dealership to test drive the ATS - on my lunch hour. Again, David was available and happy to help me. I was sold. Since the dealership had not seen the second vehicle I was trading and my husband had not seen the new car, David arrange for us to drive the car to the house so my husband, who was recovering from surgery, could see the new car and David drove my other vehicle back to the dealership. My choice was made and David went to work on the deal while I returned to work. Throughout the afternoon, David would call and keep me updated on the progress. After work, I returned to the dealership with my husband and we reviewed the deal. It was everything that David had said and we had agreed on. We signed the paperwork and I am now the proud owner of a new 2014 Cadillac ATS. I have recommended David to several people and will certainly ask for him when my husband gets ready to trade up his Chevy truck.

We came in looking for a specific vehicle, we visited a few other dealerships and they were giving us the run around, we really didn't appreciate that but when we arrived at Five Star Michael greeted us with a big smile, sat us down and I guess he could sense that I happened to be a tad bid nervous, he told us to just relax and he will take care of everything for us and he did as he said, found the exact vehicle that we wanted and we couldn't be happier with the service that we received. Cadillac.com had a promotion on their website that offered a $100.00 VISA gift card for coming in to a participating dealership and test driving a new Cadillac. The only stipulations were that you had to be 21 or older, have a valid driver's license and show proof of ownership of a 2004 or newer vehicle. I registered for the test drive at Five Star Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac in Warner Robins, GA and got an email from one of the salesmen. I called him to confirm they were participating and he confirmed that they were. When I got there, however, they played dumb and showed me a piece of paper that showed it ending on April 17. I told them that the deal was current and that it was, apparently, extended. When it was obvious that they weren't going to honor the deal, I departed and communicated with them in sign language as I departed. These folk's pictures should be in the dictionary next to the word SHYSTER! They have proven their dishonesty to me and I'm sure they'd lie to anyone at any time for any reason. My advice to everyone - AVOID Five Star Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac like the PLAGUE!!!UPDATE: When I got home I realized they have spammed my email address to what seems like every auto dealership in the southeast. There does not seem to be a limit to their unethical practices.

I did my research and all they try to do is get you to come down. I stay to far. ANSWER MY QUESTION and I'll come down when I want too. My 1st experience was not pleasant, almost 400 dollars to change transmission fluid and another huge charge to change a clip in my door. When I went to pay there were exorbitant recycling charges but it was a dealer so I expected expensive. When a brake like busted nearby I had the car towed to them. I bought in a 1994 Caprice with an obvious brake line leak under the driver's side passenger door. I paid 129.00 to be told all my brake parts past the master cylinder needed to be replaced because rust contaminated them, estimate 2800.00+ and was told it would take someone a day and a half to 2 days. I told them that almost every part including the master cylinder was replaced just 3 yrs ago and could they just flush the system and repair the line. Told this was not possible. Even at 80 an hour for 2 days, it is 1280. I towed the car to a local shop who replaced the bad brake line and the one on the other side. They said all parts were fine and none needed to be replaced. Since I had told them your estimate, I expected at least 1200. They estimated the repair at a few hundred, so I had them service the transmission also. Total charge 460.00. I do not feel that I should pay for this "estimate" since it should rightly be called attempted robbery. I had recently paid to have both my cars serviced there. Transmission service cost almost 400 and about 700 to replace a broken clip in my window. I don't mind spending more for the dealer, but 2800+ to repair a brake leak is ridiculous. I complained to the service manager and ccd the manager and did not get any reply at all. Complete nonsense. I have owned chevy's for many years and this is no way to treat a lifetime customer. The shop that repaired my car said they only care about selling new cars and that was the impression I got. They did not honor my simple request to flush and repair my line. I will never return and would give the same advice to anyone who asked.

horrible service seen a truck that we was interested in online so I had my spouse send them an e-mail about it I got 40 calls back all trying to sell us that truck so we asked if the truck had a tow hitch on it and they stated they would go out and check and call us back but after 2 days I finally found out the truck had been sold 4 days earlier and was no longer available. I figured hey things happen so we ended up going back online. they had 3 trucks we liked so made a call to verify they were there before we went up to check on it. and they claimed they had 2 of them that fit what we wanted so we said ok but first they needed to make sure they could meet the terms which was we wanted pre approval of an amount that I could get we also stated which was what I wanted to pay per month and that it would only be my spouse because only one person was to be on it and how much we was willing to put down they said they would check into it they then called me back and wanted more money down so we did come up quite a bit and they said ok and said no problem we can do it we once again verified 2 of the truck were still there and they said yes. so we went down there. this is where it got really bad 1st they only had one truck they said they had to locate the other, few minutes later they said it was signed out back in January but they were bringing it back for us to look at it few minutes after that they came back and said they did not know where it was at. well that caused the first warning flag. 2nd when we got there they were very pushy to get my check for the down payment and we would not give them it till we made sure everything was correct. while waiting for him to get the paperwork they came back and said they could not do it for the terms so my husband asked what happen thought everything was pre done they stated that they were hoping before we got there it would have been done but could not do it and wanted me to be a co signer and I already told them it could only be one person on it and not anyone else. They said they had to have it so we were done then. This place is a joke the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. be very careful and pay close attention to them when they are promising something they can't fulfill. this was done at 5 star Chevy of Warner Robbins

I contacted the internet sales desk at Five Star Chevrolet through Cars.Com to seek information on a used vehicle I saw advertised online. Several days later I received a response from both a salesman, as well as an internet sales person. First, the salesman told me the vehicle had been sold and tried to get me to consider other vehicles, even though the vehicle was still sitting on their lot. Later, the internet sales person came back to me and said there was a mistake and the vehicle was still there and for sale. I had done my homework on Kelly Blue Book and knew what the suggested retail price was. I wrote the internet sales person back and asked her to provide their lowest price on the vehicle and it met my expectations, I'd come in and pay cash for the vehicle or trade one of my vehicles in on it and pay the balance in cash. She would never provide me a bottom line price and kept insisting I come by to talk to them. I finally gave up and will take my business elsewhere. I've found these people to not be very willing to negotiate on price online...I won't ever offer to give them my business again as I've already purchased one vehicle from them and swore then I'd never do business with them again.

I have had a bad experience with Hughes Honda, not once but twice. My husband and I were looking online, and we had found a 2013 Malibu that we really wanted to see about getting. So I called Five Star to see if they still had the vehicle, and I was told yes. So my husband and I had dropped in to look at it after work one night this week. Test drove it, really liked the car. We wanted to trade in my 2013 Honda Civic for the 2013 Malibu. But when it really come down to the numbers, Five Star would not work with us. I knew that I would be a little upside down on my Civic. But I was not about to trade it in and be $10,000 upside down. I am not that stupid. So the salesman went and came back with some more numbers. He made several comments to me, "what do you expect us to do"? I looked at him and told him I didn't expect him to do anything for me. Asked for my DL back and my keys and walked out. I left him talking to my husband. Really pissed me off with his attitude. It was obvious that he did not want my business very much. Needless to say, I went home and really prayed about it. So I went to Jeff Smith Chevrolet, and I spoke with "MYRON" from Byron, very great salesman. They had the same exact car in stock but theirs was fully loaded. I explained my situation with the Civic and the bad experience I had encountered with Hughes Honda, he was able to make it happen for me to get what I wanted. And the great thing about it is my husband and I not only purchased the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu, we purchased my husband a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado. So I just wanted to let Five Star know that they just didn't miss out on 1 sale, they missed out on 2 sales. So great job for Myron, and William that could have been your sales, if you were more willing to work with someone. Maybe you need to go and take lessons from Myron- he is with Jeff Smith Chevrolet.

The people are very nice, do excellent work and I didn't have to wait too long. The problem is financial. I paid over $4000.00 for maintenance when I bought the car but the cost is high for oil change trips. For example. they charge for filters, "flushing", fluids, etc. till the last trip was almost $600.00. It's like my granddaughter said. She just traded her Buick for a Nissan because Buicks have to be "babied" too much- too expensive.

My husband and I stopped by the dealership 9/13/13 to look at a couple of models. We were helped by David Henry. David was wonderful. He was knowledgeable about the different options on each car. He was very friendly and helpful. We were very likely going to purchase a vehicle that night if they could offer the car we wanted with all the options we chose. My husband was definite and clear that he wanted a v-6 engine instead of a 4 cylinder. David brought the sales manager in as (in his words) "The closer". He asked us to drive one of the models he had on the lot so we did. We realized after driving it that he was trying to play a trick on us and prove a point about the 4 cylinder verses the v-6. My husband told him at that time not to try to sell us something we didn't want. The sales manager was totally arrogant, condescending and disrespectful. He challenged my husband several times and followed us out the door continuing to push his point in a smart aleck manner. When we went to leave, he was still shouting things to my husband. David walked us to the car and tried to smooth things over and encourage us to still consider a deal with him. We really hated for him to lose a sale because he was so nice and helpful, but we will never visit this dealership again. The sales manager couldn't have ruined this sale any better if he had been doing it on purpose. I'm not sure he wasn't. If this dealership thinks this is the proper way to do business, they are the worst dealership I've ever seen.

Drove 150 miles get there the car was being worked on in the shop,Had to wait 2hrs to even see it,While waiting he was dealing with another couple on the same vehicle, but we was there first to look at it, not to mention we drove all that way! They took the other couple out the side door and was letting them look at it, then let them drive it!!!! We was very upset, that is very bad business in my opinion, very sneaky!!!! Took truck in for weak brakes. Thought I had air in the abs. I already knew that 4 functional tests of the abs module were required for purging and only a dealer had the tool to do it. I asked if a brake bleed would remove air from the abs and was told yes. The tech pulled my vehicle into the bay and the first thing he said was "I can't guarantee any pedal pressure." Should have pulled out right then. Silly me... The tech read some codes from my abs module. I spoke with the service rep and he told me about the codes. He couldn't tell me what the codes meant without charging me $120 for a diagnostic. I Googled the codes and read they might me caused by air. I again asked if air would be removed with a brake bleed and was told yes. I decided to go ahead and have the tech bleed the brakes. As I watched him head to the wheels with a wrench I told him that the truck had speedbleeders. He showed me his hand and said "I got this." Then when he reached the wheel and realized the wrench he grabbed was the wrong size he shook his head and did some mumbling. The speedbleeders are a different size and I tried to save him some effort. He performed a standard pump, open, close, release at each wheel without running the functional test. It seemed to me that the tech didn't want to work on my vehicle and did as little as possible to say he had performed a bleeding. When I was asked to pay I told them I didn't see the tech perform a functional test and that was when they told me the tech couldn't perform the test with the codes. I ended up paying for the bleed as it was "performed". While I was there another customer called in for a tow. Some time later I overheard the tow driver, who had arrived at the location the customer said he was, ask for the service rep to call the customer to see if he was still there. He had gotten a tow from another company. Another sales rep said to put something extra on the bill to repay the tow driver for his time and gas. I'm sorry if I wait long enough for your tow that I get tired of waiting and then call another company and the second company still get there first - you'd better not charge me for your delay and slow driver.

Because of the sales professional, Chuck Tinson, my buying experience was very positive. I looked at several models and finally decided on a 2012 Acadia with a Denali package. Chuck was very patient and professional. He used a soft sale approach which I greatly appreciated. I do not like or would I buy from a sales professional who uses hard tactics or who pressures a customer. It is the buyer"s prerogative to make a decision on their terms because it is their money that they are spending. Chuck was exceptionally knowledgable about each car I looked at and walked me through all the new technology. I would recommend him to anyone looking at a GM product. Beware: Use non-compliant oil, $1.50 oil filter & failed complete checks and lube chassis as stated!I brought my 6 month old vehicle in for the initial complementary service. I wanted to make sure they would use a good oil, so I asked Angie (Service Coordinator) what oil would they be using. She said it depended on what was on the oil filler cap on the engine. So, we raised the hood and she saw the cap stated "DEXOS", which is a high quality oil that GM started requiring on some, if not all of their 2011 vehicles. Immediately after seeing the oil cap she told me they would be using Mobile-1 Full Synthetic. I said "great, that's fine with me". I had some ready to give them to use if they weren't going to use a good full synthetic oil.The next day, I happened to look at the receipt and saw they used Valvoline 5W30 Maxlife (Which is a high mileage oil for vehicles that have over 75,000 miles. Upon reading this, I called the service dept and voiced my concern of the wrong oil being used. I told him that Angie said they would use Mobil-1 Full Synthetic. He started telling me that full synthetic wasn't recommended for my vehicle and it would actually start making my engine burn oil. I told him if he didnt have some kind of proof, I dont care about his opinion. He did state the oil was high mileage oil and it shouldn't have been used in my vehicle. He continued to insist I shouldn't use full synthetic though, so I did some research on DEXOS oil. Come to find out, the oil they put in my vehicle according to the receipt doesn't even meet GMs requirement for the DEXOS specifications. So, that means if my engine was to seize up and I tried to submit a warranty claim to GM, they would DENY it, because the wrong type oil was used!!!!! After the conversation with their foolish technician, I thought it was best to look under my vehicle to ensure they lubricated the chassis as they should have. While under there, I saw there was no evidence the tie rod ends were lubricated with grease as there was lots of brake dust built up on the grease fitting. Also, the rubber boots showed no evidence of having any grease in them. In addition, I noticed the oil filter wasn't the typical blue color that I had usually seen on AC/Delco filters in the past. Upon closer inspection of the filter, I found they used a cheap Asian imported filter which costs $1.50 on the internet. Really?? How many customers want a cheap oil filter installed on a $35K vehicle? I guess I was ignorant to think they would actually use OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts at a large Chevy dealership. Yeah, that's my fault for not asking more details about every little thing they would do during the service. I guess they're no different than the quick lube shops which do a five minute oil change and check half (if that many) of what the manufacturer recommends. The following day, I spoke with the General Manager. He didn't have time to hear my concerns and insisted that I speak to the Service Manager instead of him. He said he wasn't a mechanic and he didn't know a lot of what I was talking about. Really?? You're over a large dealership and don't know basic details about oil, filters and lubrication?? So, I spoke with Alex Diaz, the Service Manager, about my concerns. He started telling me there was probably a computer glitch and he would research it and get back with me. I was pretty annoyed, so I decided I would speak to him in person. It really bothers me when people always try to blame errors on computers. So, I got there and he said what I expected. He said it was a computer problem, but they now have it corrected. After I mentioned there was no evidence that the lube was completed, he said he would be honest with me, "the mechanics now-a-days think if a vehicle doesn't have 30K miles on it, and they only need to change the oil". He went on to say, "they think since the vehicle is fairly new, that it's not necessary to lubricate everything and do all the checks like their supposed to". I was glad he was honest with me and didn't try to lie about some of their shady mechanics. He did say he was going to use my situation as a training opportunity for his folks the next morning and he would fix the problems. My concern is what's the long term fix? Will they keep taking short cuts when someone's not looking? Apparently, they have a quality of work problem. As I know it, their technicians get paid by the job and not by the hour. So, the more vehicles they complete, the more money they make. The incentive for them is to do them quickly. Shortcuts and substandard work ends up becoming standard while quality goes to the way side! He then offered to change the oil with Mobil-1 (like I was initially told), use an AC/Delco OEM filter, and they would properly lubricate the chassis. I told him, at this point, the only way I would consider it, is if I stood behind them and watched them do it, because I no longer trust them to do quality work. He said I could, but I declined his offer since the trust is no longer there. Now, Ill have to find a trustworthy dealership in the event I need service other than what I can do myself.I was warned by numerous people not to deal with Five Star and now I see what theyre talking about.

I spent hours communicating and getting a picture with top up. Then they wanted $500. more for the car than the published price saying they can not get a rebate for people living in certain states. Then they wanted another $500. to send me paper work, receive paper work with cashiers check from me and mail me the title. That is as bad as it gets.

I'd like to talk about the two different visits I have made to this dealer. The first visit was for an oil change and tire rotation. I went in and parked in line with the rest of the cars and walked over to the desk. I said I was there for an oil change and tire rotation and said I saw the GM coupon. I was told that I would have to have it printed out. So, I asked if they had somewhere I could do that. I was told no. So, I began waiting and noticed they had a sign that said if they didn't come over to my vehicle and check certain things and ask me about it, my oil change was free. So, I was going to wait to check out and ask about that. Then as I'm sitting outside for some fresh air, with my wife and 2 year old daughter, a service member comes out and begins smoking about 5 feet from us. So, we got up and went for a walk and noticed about 20 yards away was a smoking area sign...at this point I asked for the manager. Explained everything that happened and he told me I would get my next oil change for free. So, I got what was offered for not asking me certain things. So, my vehicle was done and I paid full price. I get in my vehicle and there are greese marks all over my steering wheel. I was so upset I drove off at this point. On the way home I see smoke coming from under the hood. I get home and notice that there was oil spilled all over the engine bay around the oil fill. Also, check my fluid levels and noticed they didn't fill any of them. So, I call the dealership and leave messages for the next two days with no response from the manager. On the third day I leave a complaint with BBB and within 24hrs I get a phone call from the manager telling me to come in with my credit card and they will refund my money. I went in asked for the service manager and he came over and took me to the payment window and told the lady to refund my money and walked away. Never said sorry or anything for the horrible visit that I had. I have since been driving 35mins to another dealer just to get oil changes. Lets move on to my second visit to this dealership. I went there to test drive a vehicle. Figured hey, they can't do anything wrong with just a test drive. As I drive in the parking lot and head to the type of vehicle we're looking in to I see about 7 salesmen huddled on the sidewalk all staring me down. I drive past and head to where they have the vehicle we're looking at. One salesman follows. I barely have time to get out and help my wife get our kids out before I'm already being asked if they could help. He was helpful and answered my questions and I was like I can work with this guy. My wife and I had already test drove 4 other type of vehicles and knew once we test drove and looked at this one it was going to be our choice, but there are a few things we needed. We wanted a certain color, the smaller engine, and AWD. Well, being in the south, AWD is hard to find. So, the salesman located a vehicle that matched what we wanted with some extra options that we really didn't want, but were fine with having. Oh and this was on saturday morning. So, the salesman told me he could get that vehicle in 24-48 hours. I agreed and did the whole trade in and USAA price. Pretty happy with everything at this point. I knew USAA price was a good deal, but not always the best, but I wasn't too concerned about price. As long as I wasn't getting ripped off. So, on monday I try calling a few times and I kept getting hung up on after being on hold for 5mins. So, then instead of asking for my salesman, I called and asked for anyone in sales. OF COURSE that gets an answer lol. I said I'm trying to get ahold of my salesman and I need a status of my vehicle. So, my salesman calls back and leaves me a message stating that they have locked down my vehicle and just waiting for the other dealer to pick a vehicle in their inventory to swap. So, on tuesday I tried calling again and couldn't get ahold of my salesman. So, I drove over after work. Found my salesman after about 15mins of sitting there and asked him again for a status. He walks off and comes back and tells me that the other dealership has an interested buyer and won't give up the vehicle. I was a little confused and upset how I was told it was locked down and now it's not...but I work with the dealership and they work very hard to locate another vehicle for me. After about an hour of no luck finding the model and things I wanted I'm sitting there looking at a different trim level and noticed I could get close to what I wanted. So, I recommend this to my salesman and he said, "I guess we could check that" at this point I'm pretty upset over losing the vehicle I already waited 3 days for. So, I snapped back and said, 'I guess it's a difference of a sale or no sale!" He went and checked for me and they we able to find something I was willing to settle for, but it didn't have the leather that I wanted. But he told me they would put leather in for me, but it would take an extra half day. I told him what's an extra half day at this point. So, we pull up the USAA price with all the same options other than the extra chrome the other dealership put on it. I told him I'd like to pay the difference between the USAA price without the leather and with leather. That $400 would be the nice thing the dealership could do for me. So, he leaves to go do his approval with management thing. Comes back with a price thats over $600 higher than the USAA price. Told him I wasn't doing that and I wanted the USAA price. So, the general manager of the dealship comes over and argues with me that USAA price is for in stock and that they are going to get it for me. I told him after everything that happened he wasn't willing to drop it another $600 to the USAA price I wasn't interested. He refused and kept saying that's the lowest they could go, blah blah blah. So after about 30min of that I said give me my old vehicle back and he said ok and he was upset to lose the sale over a $600 and I said you're losing over $300. I said if you even tried to work with me I was ok with splitting it. He agreed to that. So, I get the vehicle Thursday night. It has leather installed, but the stitching doesn't match throughout the vehicle. Oh well, sick of the dealership. Friday night we notice a crack in the inner layer of one of the windows. Left a message with my salesman asking what we can do about it and it's now sunday with no response. Let me also point out, the price the other dealership had listed on the sticker was right around the price I was trying to get from this dealer. But they couldn't lose their profit even after giving us the TWO worst experiences with dealerships. Going to stop by the dealership tomorrow to try to get the window replaced, I'll let you know if it continues to get worse.

Financing the vehicle was quick and easy. I was in and out of the dealership within 2 hours.... This included the test drive, price negotiations and finance approval. I've received a letter from the owner thanking me for the purchase. This is my second purchase from Five Star Chevrolet.

This was my first visit to a 5 Star dealership and the last. I had heard from friends and co-workers about their bad experiences. Now I know first hand how horrible they really are.I would definitely not recommend them to any of my friends or family.They take entirely too long to get anything done and I feel that they take advantage of low information people and the poor. I watched salesmen and finance guys literally play games with customers they felt were 'easy prey' and I thought...this is ridiculous and very low of a human being.Also, as I sat there for hours, I noticed that there are way too many salesmen walking around doing nothing. If you want to sell cars at the best/lowest possible prices, get rid of the dead weight walking around on the payroll and not contributing to the business.I will not do business with 5 Star again. I purchase a new car every two years. This was the first time I've considered buying a domestic vehicle in over 20 years. Usually I stick with BMW, Lexus, or maybe Honda as a commuter car. Not a good experience for me.

I have to say that this was the most ridiculously horrible dealership experience I have ever had. I think that dishonestly must be in the job description to work here. To start off, I saw an advertisement for the 2011 Chevy Cruze for $14800 and sent an email inquiry about it (which specifically stated that I would prefer to be contacted by email)- I recieved a call before 8:00 in the morning the next day from a woman named Anita (which is rude in my standards considering I have to young children that were blissfully sleeping in that morning) asking when I wanted to come look at the new cruze. I said I just wanted some info about the special pricing such as "Which Cruzes are covered under that price". She said "They are manuals- when do you want to come look at them?". I said "You're inventory is online- which ones specifically are covered under this price?". She said "Well we don't have any left for that price- but I can get you in one for $17000". So from the get go- she tried to get me to the dealership under the presumption that I would be getting a price that she knew good and well I wouldn't. Why I actually went to this dealership after the first round of lies is beyond me, but I did. I told the salesman that I wanted to get a price for what they would pay for my trade-in first of all, and if it was what I owed, we would go look at the cars for sale. He took my keys saying that the "guys" would look at it in just a minute, why don't we go look around while they were assessing it? Ok- fine. We tell him what we can pay and what year we wanted (assuming they will cover the trade-in) and he lists quite a few cars that he "thinks" will be right in our budget- never giving us an actual price. He wants to let us test drive a few- all I want to know is how much they'll give us for our trade in, otherwise it's irrelevant. I keep asking, he keeps walking off, leaving us in an office, or changing the subject. To make a long story short, they didn't want to give us what we owed on the trade (which was like pulling teeth to actually get the man to say. He was still trying to get us to pick out a car regardless of the fact that we couldn't afford it if we couldn't sell the other one) so we asked for our keys so we could go. Instead of giving us our keys, they send another man out to smooth-talk us into using the in-house financing to twist the figures (basically covering what we owed on the trade and adding to the price of the car we would choose) and stetching our payment out for a much longer amount of time (which is just dumb any way you cut it). We already had financing through our bank with a great interest rate. So after 30 minutes of being manipulated by this guy, we tell them once again- No thank you, I want my keys so we can go. So then they send the big guy out (general manager if I understand correctly) who wastes even more of our time before I demand once again for somebody to get my keys! I swear, these guys must take a class in the art of manipulation. I will NEVER, EVER EVEN STEP FOOT IN THE PARKING LOT OF THIS PLACE. I will even take my repairs elsewhere, the drive is well worth not endorsing these people. If you want honesty and integrity from a dealership- don't even think of going here. I only gave them 1 star because zero wasn't an option. We ended up buying our car from Woody Butts Chevrolet in Cochran and I cannot even begin to say what a different experience it was from Five Star! Woody Butts gave us such a great price and experience and didn't make us feel pressured in the least- they honestly tried to help us and make us happy- they have earned a return customer in me.

I bought a new car from Five Star Chevrolet and Shawn St. Hill was the first to greet me. The first round of numbers they gave me included a $2000 down payment and a $450 a month car payment, on a $16,000 car. I literally laughed and walked out the door, but the Shawn said ok what do you want to pay for this 2011 Chevy Cruze. I said no more than $300 a month. He said im going to get you this car. So I sat back down and a second round of numbers came out. This time it included $0 down and a $350 a month payment, pretty good decrease from the first round, but still not where I wanted to be. Finally, I got a third round of numbers which included $0 down and a $287 car payment at 72 months. So of course I jumped on that. I highly recommend working with Shawn St. Hill if you want to be satisfied. Just dont be afraid to walk out the door, when you do that they will immediately drop the price.

My experience with 5 Star Chevrolet started out very well. I submitted an credit application on-line and was notified within 30 minutes. After the inital call Mr.Santos returned my call and we set up an appointment over the phone. Once I got to the dealership everything was smooth sailing. My only complaint (Not the fault of employees) was the rentovation being conducted in the main building which made all the paperwork process a little timely. However, once all the i's were dotted and the t's were crossed I was out of there. Mr.Santos did take the time to show me all the bell's and whistles that came with my truck. He even took the time to sync up my phone to the bluetooth option on the truck. Overall I was satisfyed with my overall trip to 5 Star Chevrolet and will recomend them to all my friends who are looking for a new vehichle.

just wish I had mentioned the internet ad price I saw. Hind sight is always 20/20 though. They did woo us after words though by throwing in an entertainment center for our kids and weather tech mats for the vehicle. It really helped our decision on whether to purchase the vehicle. This will be our second new car that we have bought. I recommend asking for Woscar when looking for a salesman hes not pushy like some of the others I have met that can be incompetent.
