I just purchased a pre-owned vehicle here, and had the most positive experience with my Sales Representative, Mr. Prince Hudson. I live some distance from the Dealership; and before I drove to look at the truck, Mr. Hudson patiently responded to all my inquiries in a most timely manner. When I arrived at the dealership, Mr. Hudson was waiting for me, again answering all my questions in a most professional manner. I test drove the vehicle and had it checked by an independent mechanic. Mr. Hudson did not pressure me at all, and I felt comfortable taking my time having the vehicle checked out. Throughout the process, Mr. Hudson exemplified Outstanding Customer Service. He expedited the car buying process, and actually made it as easy as it possibly could be. It was one of the most positive and pleasant experiences I have ever had buying a pre-owned vehicle.

We bought a 2014 Honda Accord EX-L with 20k miles. Less than 3 weeks of purchasing the car; still with the temporary tag on the back of the car, I'm stranded with a bad battery. Per Ed Lane, management said they are not responsible and that I would have to buy a new battery!! Not to meantion I can't even get a key made to lock the glove compartment and for valet parking to lock the trunk! That's my problem as well!! They were very helpful and willing to jump over hoops for the sale but after the sale is final...it's tough love!! If the battery had gone out more than 30 days I wouldn't have even inquired...but it happened less than 30 days even with the temporary tag still attached. they have taught me a lesson when purchasing a car to create my own checklist before signing on the dotted line!

I will NOT do business with this dealership again . I bought a new 2015 versa from them and was told at the time of purchase that gap would cover ANYTHING the insurance did not cover if my car was totaled in an accident . so I bought the gap coverage . my car was totaled about a year after I bought it . the gap coverage did NOT cover what the insurance did not cover so I am stuck paying off my car that was totaled . they sold me gap coverage under false pretenses . they straight up LIED to me and sold me the gap that was useless to me when I needed it . I give this dealership 0 stars . I recommend that no one do business with them .

I just recently made contact with Mr.Keith Harney at Five Star Nissan in Albany Ga. He asked a lot of open ended questions to make me feel comfortable with his suggestion of vehicles. I recently purchased an automobile from a young guy by the name of Andre' Kennedy and I will have to say he was the reason I signed to dotted line! The statement " I trust Sherry Cox " speaks volumes. My daughter is a college student (GSW) and is almost three hours away from me. She hit an animal in her 2011 Nissan Maxima and there was extensive damage to the vehicle. Thank God my daughter was not injured. Now for the next ordeal - finding a trustworthy company to do the repairs - remember, I am three hours away. In this day and time, its difficult to trust people who are in charge of completing repairs. Ms. Cox was like an angel sent from heaven in our time of need. She made certain that the repairs were taken care of and answered any questions that I had as well. She was knowledgeable and extremely helpful in the assessment and repairs. She kept me informed every step of the way by speaking "plain english" and not sophisticated automotive language. i felt comfortable and trusted her judgement - She provided a peace of mind that was far beyond customer service. I was sold an "as is" car. And yes I understand what as is means but I was also asured that the car I was buying was thouroghly inspected and was also charged a $699 "service fee". When I asked what the service fee was for I was told for maintenance on the vehicle such as: oil change, brakes, fluid, etc. Yet as soon as I got my car I changed the oil (because I wanted to put a synthetic blend as well as know the exact mileage it would needed to be changed again) and the oil they stated to have just changed and charged me $699 for was black... This was THE blackest oil I have ever seen while changing oil. Not to mention when I test drove the car is was already cranked and running for me (that should have been a hint). Once I got it home and cold started it the next morning, my timing chain is now rattling. Which if anyone knows... It jumps timing and I will need motor work. Also the "new brakes" they installed are crap and are already down to the wear bars. And when we called to get their "service records" on my car they had the last oil change listed for 9,000 miles ago, probably why my oil was black. Needless to say I bought a car and before my first payment was due I am putting it in the shop. I have contacted 5 star Nissan numerous times and probably spoke to everyone in every department at this establishment and no one has done a thing. This is the first time I've bought from a dealer and I will NEVER but from 5 star again. And I am also being sure to tell everyone I know to never shop with you all.

Truly a "five star" dealership. Every time I take my car in to be serviced, I'm never disappointed. When I took it in last week for service, Sherry Cox assisted me from start to finish and she was very friendly, and knowledgeable. She kept me informed about service being done, as well as, service that needs to be done in the near future. I absolutely love her personality! She even had my car washed for me, which was something that she didn't have to do. I really appreciate the service that's provided. I've yet to have a "bad" experience.

I had a service appointment to get my brakes done, when I arrived for service Sherry Cox greeted me, she pulled my reservation and my advisor was working with another customer, she got me to sign my paperwork and showed me to the waiting room, later I realized that I had forgotten my tablet in my vehicle, I walked out to find my advisor and he was again helping another customer, Sherry once again asked me if I needed some help, she went to my vehicle and got my tablet for me and ensured if I needed anything else not to hesitate to ask. As I sat in the lounge with the other customers she came into the lounge several times and asked if everyone was okay or if any of the customer needed coffee or anything from there vehicle to please let her know, she made conversation with several of the customers including myself, as I went to checkout my advisor took me to the cashier and advised me he had another customer waiting, Sherry was in the cashiers office checking out another customer because the cashier was busy, I saw a handout at the cashiers desk that said one to one rewards, as I was reading it Sherry asked me if I had been registered for this program, I told her not that I know of, she gladly grabbed my paperwork and looked to see if I had been registered, by then the cashier was available to help me but instead of passing me off she took the time to explain the program and registered me right then and there, I now will receive discounts at the dealership when I go in, she printed me a rewards balance and offered to walk me to my car. Sherry went above and beyond for me and my appointment was with another advisor, she made me feel welcome and that I wasn't a bother, I will definitely be calling her to set my next appointment. Once again THANKS SHERRY COX for making my service visit a pleasant one.

Just wanted to give a big THANKS to Sherry Cox, she went above and beyond to get my truck in and out, I called to get a quote on tires, she was able to beat any other price that I had gotten, I gave her the green light to order the tires, she got the tires in and got them installed, the price was a few dollars cheaper than she had quoted and from the time I arrived she greeted me with a smile, kept me up to date, and when I got my truck back she had it washed and cleaned up for me, she registered me for a rewards program that would earn me discounts every time I come in and told me that was her way of saying "We appreciate your business", that's what customer service is all about!!! I will definitely be back there and be looking for Sherry every time I come in.

This is a long review, but necessary to show this dealership's character. I had no intention of trading autos until after the first of the year - until I followed-up on previous contacts with the Five Star Internet Sales Department on Black Friday. I had sent out an inquiry on an auto finder type Internet site. Among the many dealerships contacting me was Five Star. Raymond Abbott was my first contact and ultimately the sales person I dealt with in person. When Raymond first contacted me, I explained that I had no intention of reaching any decisions until 2015 and was just wanting basic information on what a dealership might offer when I was ready to finalize a conclusion.. What impressed me with Raymond is that he took what I said seriously. He was extremely courteous in our conversation and said he understood my position. He ASKED two things of me - 1. If it was all right with me if he sent me an e-mail with an example of how he could deal on the 2015 Altima. 2. If I would at least give him a chance for my business once I began my earnest shopping. I agreed to both. Raymond did send me the e-mail with the information on the proposed Altima. He included a complete write-up of the features as well as the advertised pricing. Just a telephone call and an e-mail! No further contact! My kind of a salesperson. He genuinely listened. He did what I agreed to accept and nothing more. I cannot state the same about other dealerships that responded. One dealership sent daily e-mails. I was just reviewing the dealership advertisements on Black Friday when I pulled up the ad by Five Star. The prices were astounding. They were advertising prices $1000. 00 below the best price any of the other dealers that responded to my inquiry were offering. My wife and I decided to go to Albany to follow-up on the web advertisement. We arrived and were met by a sales associate, I do not recall his name. I told him we wanted to see Raymond. This gentleman told us he would find Raymond and took us to the lobby and offered us refreshments. It took the better part of half-a-hour for Raymond to be freed from a deal he was concluding. This gentleman checked with us to keep us advised of the expected waiting time. I think this was outstanding treatment from a sales associate that KNEW he would gain nothing from attending to us. When we met Raymond, he was as courteous and polite as on the telephone. He immediately went to work to find us an automobile that matched the Black Friday advertisement. Raymond was exceptionally understanding in that we wanted the advertised deal and no other to evaluate a final deal with Five Star. Raymond found a vehicle that could be sold as advertised, as the ones included in the advertisement had been sold. He set up the vehicle he could deal on and had us take a test ride. The color was Java, a cool coffee-like color and my wife was immediately in love with it when seeing it in sunlight. I was a little harder to convince as I was interested more in the dollar cost than the color. Raymond did an excellent job of presenting the auto to us during his walk around. He anticipated our questions and was thorough in his responses. The actual deal was handled by Raymond. No pressure! No hinting the auto may be sold if we waited to come back later! Just a presentation of the initial deal and managing the negotiation until a trade was finalized. Finance was also handled in a professional manner with questions answered fully and completely. I have had many auto purchases in my life, I am 72, and this was the most courteous and professional deal I have ever experienced. I have also worked in a non-sales capacity at a large multi-nameplate auto sales group and can honestly say this group would love to have Raymond on its staff as he was exceptionally professional. Five Star is one dealership I can recommend for great pricing, good deals and exceptional customer service and courtesy

I recently traded vehicles at this dealership. I negotiated a payoff amount on the contract I signed for my trade in. Instead of sending the lien holder the amount agreed upon on the contract they waited two weeks during which my banking institution drafted another payment for the vehicle with the lien. They then only sent the lien holder what was then owing on the vehicle which was $140.00 less than they agreed to pay on the contract. The vehicle that I purchased had some wheel cover related parts that had been stolen off of it so the dealership gave me a "we owe" for the missing parts but they never ordered the replacement parts. I ended up going online myself and purchasing the parts and I then had to go to the general manager to get reimbursed for what I spent out of pocket. I made numerous phone calls and visits to get this resolved and all I get is empty promises. I want my $140.00 back that they owe me on the trade.

They lied to me about a vehicle and refuse to honor their written promise to rectify. In all my dealings over many decades they are the only dealer I would characterize as completely dishonest. Do not trust them

I am not an happy camper. It took them forever to get back with me while I was I approved by capitalOne bank. I started speaking with Britney ( who quit) then Raymond. None of them were able to help me get a vehicle I needed. I was very upset by them. So I ended up buying car from a very reasonable dealer

I had been thinking of getting a new car for a while now, being that I had been without one for over a year. Since it was my first time car shopping on my own, I hesitated on doing so. Always thinking it would be some drawn out process and a headache at the same time. I originally looked online and found a nice old-school used car that they had, but was convinced on buying a 2013 Nissan Altima. I will say that I'm not a big Nissan fan, but the car I selected (Altima) was definitely my style and color of choice. The Sales Rep, Dale Givens, was very understandable and over-the-top helpful on making sure I left with a great deal, AND a great car. I never met the guy before, and I felt like I knew him all along by the time I drove off in my new vehicle. Even days later, he would contact me to make sure I was still satisfied with my purchase. As a first time buyer, I couldn't ask for a smoother car buying process than what I experienced at Five Star Nissan of Albany with Dale Givens. Id personally like to thank him and his crew for the love and sincerity they showed me, and would recommend any first-time buyers to check them out. Vroom Vroom!

Do not trust this dealer. A used vehicle was incorrectly advertised. This was pointed out on day of purchase and dealer agreed to rectify in future (add missing equipment). Months later cannot get a response to rectify. I am forced to pay over $600 to add the equipment that was advertised but was not provided. I would have not purchased the vehicle without the assurance from salesperson that the will "make it right". If you deal with this business - be careful. I even have it in writing (email) and it is not being honored.

I drove 4.5 hours to purchase a vehicle after receiving a price for my trade-in. When I arrived and started the purchasing process, the dealer offered me $2,500 less for my trade-in despite my trade being exactly as pictured and described. I felt "lured" by the salesman because he quoted me the price for my trade knowing that I was only willing to drive 4.5 hours if we could agree on a trade-in price before drove to Albany.

My son who lives in Pittsburgh scoured the internet for a used 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland with low mileage, and found several between Pittsburgh and Florida (where I live) that were good candidates. Five Star Nissan had the one with with the lowest mileage, and since I live in Jacksonville, FL, I offered to go to Albany to check out the car. When I confirmed that the car was a beauty and that we could get a great deal on it, my son booked a ticket to Georgia for the next day to cement the deal and sign the papers, and was soon on his way back to Pittsburgh with his dream car. From my initial contact with the dealership through Toni, to test driving and working out a great deal with internet team members John and Jackie, and breezing through all the paperwork with John Temples, the process was as pleasant and user friendly as it could possibly be. When we discovered that the car was without a user's manual, Jackie left no stone unturned to ensure that there was one in the car before it left the dealership. Because the car was not a current year model and was not a Nissan, it was quite a challenge. She went so far as to tap her network to locate a manual at a Jeep dealership, picked it up from them and presented it to my son before he left the lot. We would absolutely recommend Five Star Nissan to anyone looking for a great deal and just as important, great folks to help you navigate the car-buying experience. They definitely go above and beyond.
