Negotiated a deal, once in finance the numbers seamed right end the payment works out. Now the SURPRISE at the DMV. In my case got screwed out of an additional $150.00 in TTatL. What ever you do stick to the original numbers and make sure they are the same on the contract you sign!!

I was treated with respect and honesty. I am no novice when it comes to buying and selling cars. I bought a 2015 Honda Civic EX from Fowler Honda and the experience was a pleasure. In fact that, two days later the finance department called me and asked me if I wouldn't mind coming in to re-sign the finance contract because they were able to get a 5% lower interest rate from CHASE Bank as opposed to my bank, where I was pre-approved for a car loan. So I give 5 out of five stars to Fowler Honda. My sales consultant David Hamblin was a pleasure to work with and very in tune with my needs and wants. He was low pressure and very kind.My finance manager Tim Gaulden, what can I say other than Thank You! A very honest and nice man. I actually worked for two years as a salesman for Vandergriff Honda in Arlington Texas after I retired from a major airline. So, I was no no one's fool when it came to buying a car. So, please take it from me. You can't go wrong buying a new or used car here!

I bought a 2016 Honda CRV, the sales personnel were polite and professional. The nice part of shopping at Fowler was at no time did we feel pressured to purchase, they were very understanding that it was a big decision purchasing a vehicle and provided a very friendly atmosphere. This is my second purchase from this dealer and I would highly recommend anyone looking for a quality vehicle to make sure they give Fowler Honda visit.

We had been shopping for a new Honda CR-V all during the month of June. We visited several dealerships including a Toyota dealership. We tried very hard to make the purchase but just couldn't get exactly what we wanted at the price we wanted to pay. Finally, on July 4th we went to Norman Oklahoma about 30 miles from our home. Fowler was a lot different from the others. Nick Arias was our salesman. He gave us his undivided attention and the sales manager was very interested in selling us our new Honda CR-V Touring. We were very pleased with the deal. Linda was also very helpful in the financing department .I started my search for a new Honda looking at the EX but really liked all the features on the Touring.

Our family has owned Hondas for over 20 years.Last week,we went to Fowler for the 1st time. From the moment we walked in the front door, the staff made us feel right at home.Fowler had a bigger selection than other dealerships we've gone to in the past.Their inventory gave us everything we needed to make a decision .We did make a decision, and it was Fowler! We love our new car,and our salesman,Joshua was so dedicated. He took the time to show us how everything worked.!! He's not the only great person there. The finance department went the extra mile to help us get the best deal.(Shayla).Everyone was great, there won't be a need to ever shop around again!

We were 6 women traveling to OU for tournament and had serious air conditioning issues. The service staff welcomed us in immediately and began assessment of the problem. The staff were all incredibly nice and friendly as we took over their waiting area and offered us a place to relax, refreshments, etc... Well the vehicle needed more extensive work than could be done late afternoon. No problem at Fowler, they put us in loaner van to accommodate all our stuff and let us get back to our vacation. Their work was completed the next day as promised and upon return, all the staff could not have been nicer; and delivered on their promise of quality and completed A/C work. Absolutely best dealership ever in contact with and I have owned 3 Hondas. Great job Fowler!!!!!!!!!!!!

Purchasing a car from Fowler Honda was a relative easy experience. I hate shopping for a car because of all the haggling that usually goes on not matter what, but that didn't happen at Fowler. Loved our sales rep, Nick Boswell. He was extremely helpful and polite. Thanks for a good experience.

We were recognized on the lot by a sales person that knew about the cars he was selling. He found the one we were interested in, and we test drove one in a different color. All the information that was given to up was true and helpful from the beginning to the end of our experience. It is good to know all the Service that is available, after you purchase your car. This is our 3 new Honda we have purchased, each one has been a dream....!

We have never wanted to go through a dealership to purchase a vehicle. The experience we had was overwhelming . They listened to us and the needs we expressed, while never pushing the sell of a vehicle. We were even told to think about and talk over things and come back if needed. Since buying a vehicle through them we've continued to be heard when a question or concern came up. Each time we were treated in a friendly, relaxed matter but also showing that they were concerned and ready to meet that need. We don't feel that another dealership could or would do such a superior job as Fowler Honda of Norman. Our business will continue to be done here and will encourage others to share in this excellent experience.

Met Joshua and the next day we went back, asked for Joshua to help us and completed a wonderful biying experience. Two weeks later, went back to speak with Joshua, ran into a longtime friend Roger your service advisor, ended up buying another Honda. Without a doubt, Joshua, Roger, and Fowler's finance department staff made us customer's for life. Thank you for a winderful experience.James Parkman

In the past I have dreaded car shopping due to experiences with salesmen who were either high pressure or talked down to a woman customer. Shawn was a delight to work with. He was friendly, very knowledgeable about all aspects of the car I wanted, and went the extra mile to get the car in exactly the color I wanted. I never felt pressured to make a decision until I had made up my mind exactly what I wanted. I feel Shawn also gave me a very fair deal on the price and my trade in. Tim was also very helpful handling all the paperwork and arranging excellent financing. I will definitely tell all my friends what a great experience I had buying my car at Fowler Honda.

This is our second Honda Pilot we have bought from Fowler Honda in Norman OK! And it will be our LAST one! we had a 2012 Honda Pilot and we traded it in for a 2016 Honda Pilot from Fowler! the salesman was all nice while we were buying the car, We had to wait about a week till the car came in then when we went to pick it up our salesmen didn't even want to take the time out to go over stuff so he pulls out the CD meaning we can go home and watch it so we could learn all the new stuff for our new vehicle! Very unprofessional! Then we waited for our paperwork to come in so we could get our tag it finally got here plus we got another ladies paperwork also in the mail with all her information on it! We called to tell them and they had the nerve to ask us if we would bring it back to them! Once again very unprofessional! We called them on a Wednesday to tell them about that and a few other issues and they said they would call us back we never heard from them so we called them back the following Monday! Not happy at all with this car dealership!

Have bought 7or8 vehicles over the last 15 yrs from Fowler, prior to that it was Thunderbird imports and had bought 3 or 4 there. Dealership goes out of there way to make you happy, the service is very good and fast. Lets face it there are a lot of Shady business out there nowadays, anything for a fast buck.

I have bought four cars from Fowler Honda. Tim Gaulden sold me my first one. John Perler sold me my most recent used 2008 Civic. I have received consistently excellent service each time I've needed the service department over the past 10 + years. The best example I have is that during the flooding this past May, my 2012 Accord was totaled. They gave me a loaner for the duration of the time necessary to settle the insurance claim at no charge. They are tops in my book!

We were looking at a 2003 Jeep. We were told we could combine the loans with this car and one we bought back in February. When we get there we are told no we cannot. They told us our trade in was only worth $500. They tried to sell us a new car with much higher payments. We had a great experience with our other 2 vehicles we bought from Fowler. We pretty much wasted our time coming in on false pretenses.

Was going to buy a 2014 Toyota Camry. The car had cloth seats and my wife wanted leather seats. Sales person David said he would put leather seats in at his cost. We go inside and start the paperwork and the cost of the leather seats are added into our total. So after nearly 4 hours with him and his Sales Manager. With my trade in and the cost of the leather seats is just shy of $3000 more than there asking price?? It was Red Tagged for about $19,200. When all was said and done, I would be giving them my car for free plus about an additional $1000??then the sales manager has the audacity to tell me they were losing $3,141?? Give me a break, I am sure they never lose or they wouldn't be in business. I went to Bob Moore Nissan 4 days later and purchased a 2015 Altima and had the most pleasant experience with their sales staff than any of the 19 new cars I have purchased. Shame on Fowler Honda-unbelievable poor experience and dishonesty.

Yesterday, I had got the opportunity to visit Fowler honda to buy a new vehicle. I am an international student at OU and I have to save every bit of my money as we have to pay a tuition that is 4 times higher. So I did my thorough research before going there. I had some offers from the other dealers for my trade in too. The best thing about Fowler was that they did beat those competitive offers for my trade in and offered me $500 more for the car and on top of that I was able to reduce the sticker price further $3K-4K. Rick was the salesman. He was very respectful, good mannered and pleasant person. No pressure what's so ever from him. Being an International student, I definitely know how the other dealers think about int'l students as easy/soft targets and hence they apply pressure tactics. But no pressure from the salesperson, sales manager. When I finalized the deal, I went to Hui, the financial person, extremely efficient, pleasant personality. I was able to drive my new car in about 30 minutes from the time I entered to Hui's office. They definitely won my heart, for sure. I will remember the pleasant experience and for sure this kind of treatment should become the standard for other dealers when dealing Int'l students. When I get a job, I will trade the vehicle that I bought yesterday and I will buy a CRV from the same dealer.

I was a little bit hesitant at first to go back to Honda when we were considering purchasing a new vehicle. Mainly due to my going to the same Honda place years ago and felt like I really got taken advantage of by the sales and finance staff. Probably due to my trusting nature and being female. However, due to the high ratings for the new Honda Fit we wanted to give it a try. I have been amazed at the positive changes in my treatment this time around. Our salesman was terrific. I think Josh was his name. My husband did most of the discussions concerning the purchase and we were given a fair deal not a massive "shell game " like I had before. I dont remember anyone asking about my experience back then. But now they follow up and check and double checked we were treated right. Everyone was great. And my Honda Fit is awesome too!! Thanks Fowler Honda.

My husband and I purchased a 2015 Honda Odyssey EXL. We were assisted in our purchase by Garth and John. We received excellent assistance. They were friendly, but not pushy and showed us several vehicles to choose from regarding color, etc. Then when we reached an agreement, the financing was handled by Shayla, who was very informative, and again we received excellent service. That is the fastest we have ever handled financing. She was courteous, friendly, and we had another appointment that evening which we informed her, and she completed the paperwork very promptly. We both were impressed with the salesmen, and the financial aspect of it. There was no back and forth haggling.

I just bought a 2015 Honda CRV EXL Touring from Fowler Honda. Their staff was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and fun to work with. I would highly recommend Fowler Honda to anybody looking for a pleasant buying experience. What I liked best was when I got out of the business office, my new CRV was cleaned up and had a full tank of gasoline and was ready to go. The CRV EXL Touring has so many new features that my 2013 CRV EXL didn't have! All of the features were explained clearly and they even paired my phone, including speed dialing. I love all the new safety features and especially my new auto-lift rear door. Again, I would recommend Fowler Honda to anyone!

I had by far the best new car buying experience in 30 years. No pressure, no going back and forth in price, no hidden costs when you get to finance, low APR through Honda finance. Salesman was excellent, service manager was introduced at new car owner get together. Fowler Honda really does have a great business model for treating the customers great. First oil change is free, got an extra tank of gas when I brought it in for a minor mud flap issue. Can't say enough about this dealer. They are 20 miles from where I live but I will be going back to them for sure and also will see them for my service of my new car.

Back in 2012, I bought a Honda Odyssey and up until a couple of months ago, I was so proud of the deal I received and the service up until that point. I took a tire in, that needed a patch because of a screw that was 1/3 in from the edge. The service rep told us they didn't feel comfortable, about our safety, in patching it, then priced a new tire for us and would call us when it came in. Meanwhile, being in my 40's, I have had quite a few tires patched in my younger days, couldn't believe that the tire couldn't be patched so I checked with another dealer and they agreed there was nothing wrong with patching the tire. I also found out from the Fowler Parts department that the tire the guy tried to sell me was $50 less than what I was quoted. Now, with all the recalls going on, we don't want to take our vehicle back to the original seller, and now that I am starting to look a few of years ahead at vehicles for my daughter, I don't feel comfortable buying another Honda and her having to take it there. After 2 months, I still get upset everytime I think about it.

This dealership is a JOKE! I went to fix my car. First I was told that it will be fixed next day. But it ended up 10 days to fix the car. The receptionist at the service department has no clue about courtesy and customer service. This dealer has NO professionalism, customer service, courtesy, and respect for the customer. Discriminated service. It was terrible experience.

I am livid! FOWLER HONDA sold my son a car and after waiting weeks he still has not received the title! Now he has a new car sitting in his driveway that he cannot drive, They said they would call the insurance people and they did not follow through. It is a totally flaky company. I advise you to go elsewhere. There is a law against them treating people this way and I plan to look into these laws today.

The guy must have thought I was stupid and he was going to try to take advantage. I, however learned to add and subtract a long time ago. I would never buy a vehicle here again.

Do NOT take your car to Fowler Honda for service if you value your time and money. I don't like to write negative reviews, but I gave these guys EVERY opportunity to mitigate the situation and they DO NOT CARE. I took my CRV in for service to have the oil change and the 27 point inspection done. Well they said the car looked great and that there was just a small drip in the oil pan that they should fix. I said great, let's do that and paid them $500 to fix my car. When I got the car back it was UNDRIVABLE. Apparently they had damaged the struts while the car was on the lift so it was like trying to drive an amusement park ride. It felt like the car was going to come off the wheels! Well, after telling me that this sometimes happened on some of the older models when they were put on the lift (you know this and don't try to prevent this from happening?), they said they would take a look and have the manager call me on Monday. No call monday, no call tuesday. My fiance called on Tuesday afternoon for a status update and they said they were still trying to figure out how it happened. No call wednesday, no call thursday! It had been a week at this point and when my fiance called back they said that they found a small leak in the rear strut that caused the problem and it was pre-existing before we brought the car in (so even though the car drove perfectly when I brought it and now could not be driven safely) I could pay them $715 to fix it with non-Honda parts or $850 to fix it with Honda parts. As you can imagine I was not happy and should have had my car towed to Hibdon at this point. But since I still had not spoken to the manager, I decided to tell him about my experience just in case the service representative happened to be an outlier. The manager told me that he understood that I had not been treated the way they like to treat customers and that they would throw in new struts on the front for free if I would pay the $850. (Since Hibdon would have done all 4 for a non-discounted price of $900, you can see what a generous offer this was). But I like to give people the benefit of the doubt so for some reason I agreed. Another week goes by and the manager calls to tell me that they are having trouble getting the parts but that it should be early next week. ANOTHER week goes by and so I call and he says parts are here, when do you want to do the work? I request that it be done that day (it had been 3 weeks at that point). When I pick up my car and pay the $900 (because the $850 quote didn't include tax), I specifically ask before I sign my credit card slip, "So it's been driven this time and it works?" "Oh yeah," the original service guy Rob says, "It runs great now." So I take my car and when I get to main street I hear a noise under the front drivers side wheel. Once again, I take the car back and have one of the techs ride with me - he can hear it, he says, let them take a look. So I sit and wait for an hour before Rob tells me that it is another wear and tear issue that happened before they got the car and it will be an additional $160 to fix this problem. I said, "So you are telling me that in the initial inspection when you found nothing wrong with the car except the oil pan drip, you missed at least two other problems with this car that existed before the inspection that cost over $1000 to fix and now you want me to pay a second time to get my car back to the condition that it was in when I brought it to you?" And he looked me in the face and said yes. I said, "No, I will not be giving you another cent or anymore of my business and your manager has 24 hours to call me before I will be sharing my story." Of course, I did not receive a call from the manager, so I am writing this review in hopes that others are not taken advantage of. There are two explanations for my experience: either they are completely incompetent or they are intentionally scam artists. Either way, they should not be able to treat people this way, but they got their $1400 out of me and obviously didn't care enough to call me and even apologize. I will not be trusting Fowler again - a service trip to Dallas is less expensive time and money wise even with the extra gas.

Since 2000, my husband and I have been Nissan car owners. We were looking at and were ready to buy another Nissan, and our son-in-law suggested we drive the Honda CR-V just to compare the two vehicles. We drove to Norman just look and ended up purchasing a 2013 Honda CR-V that day. We were greeted by the energetic and charismatic Tony who took us on the test drive. The ride felt significantly more stable, and the CR-V fit my body more comfortably. I immediately liked the way the front panel is configured around the driver for easy access and hands free navigation. I absolutely love the ease with which the rear seats go down with a pull of the leavers and the gas mileage is improving with each tank of gasoline. Since we have had the Honda CR-V less than one month, we obviously have not bought it in for service, so the ratings I gave is what I am expecting with the first service visit. After attending the Owner's Clinic last night, both my husband and I were pleased with the way you take care of your customers. First, I was pleasantly surprised that you offer an Owner's Clinic! After attending the Owner's Clinic, we looked around the building and were impressed with the many extra amenities provided for customer comfort. I am actually looking forward to the first oil change, 27-point inspection and car wash when that time comes.

I usually hate the idea of going to a dealership for service. Experiences from my past have taught me to expect long waits, high prices, and indifferent staff. I was pleasantly surprised by Fowler Honda from the moment I entered the building. The staff was quick to respond to my needs and took care of my service needs in a friendly, professional manner. But what sets this service department apart from the rest are the little things, from the electronic pagers to the comfortable theater seating in the lounge, to the amazing food counter. It is the perfect spot to read or catch up on some work, or just watch the big screen TV. Each time I have visited, they have not only given me a detailed lists of other recommended services for future visits (including prices), but they even wash my car every time I bring it in....for free!A strange thing has happened since I started taking my car to Fowler Honda for service. I am actually looking forward to it for the first time ever.

I was shopping for a fairly new car for my wife. I found a 2012 model on the internet that was priced well below NADA retail. I called and inquired about the vehicle. I asked up front if there was some wiggle room on the advertised price. I was told there was. I went to the dealership and met Nick. We test drove the car. I made an offer, the closer or general sales manager countered, i made another offer and the deal was sealed. I got a great price and the staff there could not have been more friendly. After a completely negative experience at automax two blocks down the street (read my review) It was very pleasant to deal with a reputable car lot and honest straight shooters which was the polar opposite of dealing with automax. If you are looking for a great deal on a used vehicle i suggest giving them a try as they proved not all norman car dealers are shady some are reputable and my experience with Fowler Honda and Nick Schiavo were very positive.

I have an aversion to car salespeople, but the Fowler family is a supporter of the arts in my hometown of Norman, so my wife and I gave them our business. That was a MISTAKE. To make a long story (fairly) short, we test drove one 2012 CR-V one time with salesman Garth. He was friendly and not high pressure, got us a lease quote quickly, and we left to do our homework. After some research, I determined that the quote was fair. For nearly the same sticker price, I found that we could get the car without the DVD player and instead with factory navigation. The Fowler website showed the exact car we wanted to be in stock, so about 4 days after our first visit, we walked into Fowler and told Garth we would lease the car shown on the website. He drove up an identical CR-V without navigation and asked if they could "order in" the nav system and that the price was "a wash" to substitute nav for the dvd system we were originally quoted. That was fine with us and we signed the lease. Garth's parting words were that he would be in touch soon about getting the navigation installed.Over a month passed, we loved the CR-V, but wondered where our navigation was. I called Garth to ask, and he acted a little put out and said he would look into it. Another week passed, and we called Garth. Without apology, he said to bring it in the next day for installation. When we got there, we expressed our disappointment at the long delay and lack of communication. Garth apologized, made excuses about personal issues, and said he would get the oil changed and car washed to make it up to us. Three days later, we picked up the car. TO OUR DISMAY, the car had NOT been washed and there was a cheap aftermarket Boyo navigation unit installed that replaced the rear view mirror. NEVER were we told that an aftermarket unit was going to be installed. We took the car, but grew more discontent over the course of the next week. First of all, the installed cost of a Boyo is about $400, but we were charged over $1700. Second, we asked for a CR-V with factory navigation and were led to believe we were getting such a car. After calls to Honda, unreturned calls to Garth and his immediate supervisor, and a certified letter to Fowler, the general manager (Dallas) got involved. He was very concerned and responsive. With some wrangling, he arranged to have the navigation uninstalled and said he would refund the ~$1700. Well, after the fact, he back-pedaled on that commitment and said he would need to send the $1700 to Honda Financial because they hold the lease. A call to them revealed that the funds would be held as a "security deposit" and either refunded, applied to mileage/damage, or rolled over at lease end.So the BOTTOM LINE is that we test drove ONE vehicle, DID NOT haggle, and were well qualified for our lease. In return, Fowler misled us into paying the same amount for a lesser car then left us to pay for the car WE DID NOT GET for the next 3 years, at which point we "might" get our money back. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER again will I let this happen. I will purchase my cars online and bypass the opportunity for the dealership weasels to bilk me. I tried to keep my money local and give Garth an easy sale, but got screwed. In fairness, I understand that Dallas was put in the situation of trying to rectify our concerns without violating the terms of our lease, but this solution is still unfair. And admittedly, while the switch of cars was unethical and sleazy, it was probably not illegal. But why can't people just do what they say they will do? Fowler should have cut us a check for the navigation and worked it out with Honda Financial on their end. That is how customer loyalty is built.

The overall process and sale wasn't too had. The salesman did the usual technique of telling you how he does things differently than other salesman. ( not true) They really low balled my trade in, even lower than I expected. They offered me just over half of the expected trade in value. Not half of retail value, but half of what a trade in value was! I wonder how they would feel if I offered them 50% of their asking price on a car they were selling. CONCERNING the car I was purchasing, The salesman gave the usual " we are selling this car ar a loss already" BS that we have all heard every time. Also, he tried to tell me about ALL of the expenses they have, haha,... This was the point I guess he wanted me to feel sorry for him. Anyway, I got a decent price for the new car, even though they insultingly gave me a poor trade. The salesman had all the usual lines we have come to expect. I will say that the financing was better than I expected. I was able to get 1.9% for 48 months on a 2010 model. I did feel good about that. Not a bad Place to buy a car. The facilities are very nice. Just don't believe everything the "cut to the chase", " bottom line" salesman has to say.

After weeks of constant communications with sales staff and driving more than hour long drive to dealership based on promise of sales person to sale a vehicle based upon agreed price to be told No and get kicked out by manager , lets not forget that you guys at dealership beg customers to come to see you so you can sell a car , instead kicking customer out . This is very poor customer relationship and management need to go back to basic customer service traing and coaching , after all customers are the one who keep you in business . I would not recommend this dealer to anyone who is out there to buy a new vehicle , buyers be ware . I really wonder how you can continue doing business like this since that is sorry way of bringing customer to the dealership and then do not honor what promised . After totaling my 2011 Civic during a huge shortage of cars, I called and went to several dealers all over Oklahoma. Most dealers weren't even sure when they would receive a new shipment of Civics. For a lack of options, I went to Fowler. Mike showed us three 2012 Civics in stock. I hate the back and forth haggling in car dealing, and this establishment was no better. I had gone to two other Honda dealers that wouldn't negotiate price because of the shortage; however, Fowler did negotiate. Four hours later, we had the car we wanted (in a color besides Urban Titanium), a price that was great (and much better than my quote at other dealers for similar cars), and a relationship with a dealer who actually calls you back and follows up.

Very bad experience at this dealer! After working with the salesman to get a price quote, I told the salesman he would get the chance to beat any price we could find. It just makes sense to shop around for the best deal and not buy the first car you look at. So as we were exiting the dealer, the sales manager decided he would let me know that the price he just gave the salesman was only good that day. When the salesman had just given me the quote in writing and said it was good for two weeks. As the arrogant sales manager went on and on about what a good deal it was, I let him know he would not be getting my business if the car was free. He then started raising his voice.I was in total shock at this unprofessional behavior so the next day we bought a 2011 accord elsewhere for a lot less. This was a terrible buying experience, and I would never recommend anyone even waste their time going there. There are too many Honda dealerships in the area to go through that.

DO NOT USE FOWLER HONDA, TOYOTA, OR ANY OTHER FOWLER DEALERS!!!! I live in the Norman area and I am thoroughly disappointed, even ashamed, with each and every visit I have had to make to any Fowler dealer. Here are just a couple examples of the (lack of) quality you can expect from Fowler:1) Back when gas was near $4 a gallon, my mother-in-law was in the market for a Civic so she came up for the weekend to do some car shopping with my wife and I. We went to just about every Honda dealer in the OKC area, saving Fowler for last on our way home. When we got there and started looking at the Civics, I noticed an entry on the sticker price for $1,000 extra that was labeled "market adjustment" or something like that. I asked the salesman what that was and he told me it was an added charge because Civics were in such high demand at the time! Not one other Honda dealer in the OKC area had any such charge and all of them were willing, and actually did negotiate the price of the Civics. I asked the salesman why they were adding that extra grand on the sales price and he said because they were selling at that price. Also, Fowler's position at the time was here's the sticker price, take it or leave it. Never, in my 42 years, have I seen an auto dealership exhibit such predatory, opportunistic tactics. We left Fowler and drove back to another Honda dealer and got a better deal, and with a much better attitude.2) Last week, we took our 08 Pilot into the service department because it was making a squeaking noise when it turned a corner. The mileage on it meant that it was out of the manufacturer's warranty. However, we had purchased an extended warranty when we purchased the vehicle (not from Fowler). Alec in the service department was friendly and helpful to my wife when she dropped the vehicle off for repair. They looked at the vehicle for a while and then called my wife to let her know that it would cost $900 to repair it. She said that was fine since we had the extended warranty. They hadn't realized we were still covered by an extended warranty and when we told them they were completely put out by that fact. Alec acted like it was a complete inconvenience to have to be bothered to contact the warranty company, get authorization for the repair and so on. My wife called at 1:30 and was told by Alec that he had called the warranty company and was waiting on a call back. She called again at 4:30 and was told that Alec had left for the day and the person she spoke with said he thought Alec was still waiting on a call back. My wife called the warranty company, was immediately connected to a person, and was told that they had received a call from Fowler but that the call was disconnected and they had never received a call back. The next morning, Alec called my wife and asked her to call the warranty place because he couldn't get through and ask them to call Fowler. My wife called the warranty place again and was immediately speaking with a representative who told her they had not received any further calls from Fowler but it was against their policy for them to call a dealer. I called Alec back to see what the difficulty was. Alec was nothing but impatient, disrespectful, and downright rude to me so I asked if there was a manager there I could speak with. He forwarded my call to Jim the service manager where I left a message. Jim returned my call quickly and was very courteous, he promised to check into the situation. He called my back again after a while and told me he had gotten his shop foreman in on the job and was taking a look at my car. He called me again a few hours later to let me know they had greased some pins on the brake cylinder and that he couldn't hear the squeak anymore and that I could come get the vehicle. Fowler said there was a $30 charge on the repair but they were writing that off. I picked my Pilot up and had my son drive it home. My wife drove the vehicle that afternoon and there was absolutely no change - it still squeaked exactly like it had when we dropped it off. Jim assured me that he had driven it three times and that it was not making any noises. I absolutely believe that Fowler dreamed up $900 worth of repairs when they thought I was gonna be shelling out the money, and then when they found out it was covered by an extended warranty, squirted a little grease on a part to keep from having to work with the warranty company. All of this was done without regard to whether or not my vehicle was actually repaired - which it wasn't. 3) I mentioned Fowler Toyota before so here's what happened with them. When my wife and I were shopping for our vehicle in 2008, we stopped at Fowler Toyota first because my wife loved the Highlander. We found one there that she liked very much. The sales person was extremely nice and helpful but the negotiating process was despicable. I had thoroughly done my research on this vehicle and knew what a fair price was so that was my opening offer. The sales manager (I can't remember his name) came over and basically told me he would take around $500 off the price of the vehicle. I told him I didn't believe that was a fair price for the vehicle and he literally turned and walked away. That was the end of the negotiating - not a thanks for coming in, have a nice day, kiss my ass, or anything. Nothing but a sense of entitlement, attitude, and a complete lack of concern for the customer beyond the initial meet-n-greet when you drive onto the lot. After this most recent episode, I have had to completely wash my hands of the whole Fowler line of dealerships. We all expect certain things when dealing with car salesman - I get that. But I have never seen such a level of unabashed profiteering coupled with a complete and absolute lack of concern for the customer beyond what they can give to Fowler as I have seen here. Based on my experiences with Fowler's line of dealerships, this sort of attitude and customer care can only originate from the top. Why someone would want to institutionalize this sort of behavior is beyond me. So, for those of you who feel that Fowler has done you right, I would challenge you to think about how much, if any, you weren't right on track with what they wanted. Think hard about how they responded to any level of pushback. Then, do yourself a huge favor and go somewhere else, anywhere else. Personally, I am done with Fowler!

I love Fowler Honda!!! I have personally purchased 3 new vehicles from them in the past 6 years and would never think of going anywhere else! I will not take my Honda to any other service department, Honda authorized or other. Mike and the guys at Fowler are always friendly and professional! I always get a follow-up call from Leann to insure that there weren't any problems. Dallas and the sales crew are A1! Always give me the best deal and bend over backwards to make my picky husband happy! You are all the best! Its not often that a customer can say that they look forward to their oil changes!Keep up the fantastic job guys!!!

One Pro and One Con:Our salesman was fantastic. While looking at Civics today he was friendly, patient and knowledgeable. However, when negotiating price with "the closer" the entire experience changed. The price negotiator lied several times, and became very hostile when we showed a competing price from a different dealer. He questioned our ability to get the competing price and then gave us an incredibly high quote on the vehicle. He did not leave the negotiation with a "let's stay in touch" attitude, but just gave us a high price and shook our hand.

We do not like the typical back and forth "let me talk to my manager" type negotiations, so we decided to use the internet sales department to negotiate a price in advance. Matt seemed nice through email correspondence, however the dealership showed their true colors when we showed up to purchase. We drove from Edmond (25+ miles one way), relying on Matt's assertion that his manager had approved our price (out the door, including all doc fees, etc.) on each trim level we were interested in. The only thing left to do was to decide between two trim levels of the Honda Accord. We decided to purchase the ex-l model, and our salesperson disappeared for a moment, only to return with a paper and a sob story showing us how much he was losing on the transaction. I had done my research and knew that not only was this "invoice" significantly higher than their true invoice cost, but also didn't reflect the further savings that could be realized from the factory to dealer cash on this model. It turns out that there was some miscommunication and of course we must have misunderstood that the quote was for the ex only without leather. I don't believe it for one second. Selling cars is what these people do professionally, for a living. The confusion was intentional and designed to get us in the showroom and wear us down. My dad has an email with the price quote and he made a subsequent phone call, both of which explicitly mentioned the ex-l with leather. I should have known this would happen when I saw the add-on to the sticker, which detailed charges for such things like the sunroof spoiler (~$200), nitrogen filled tires ($100...how do they sleep at night!?!). The total extras added up to nearly $900. The only thing these people are good for is funny commercials. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. These people are the stereotypical auto dealer scum who give the profession a bad name. After they had wasted more than two hours of our time, we left the dealership at 730 PM, calling Bob Howard Honda on the way back. I spoke with a salesman for 10 minutes detailing what I wanted, and how much I wanted to pay. He called me back in 5 minutes, saying he had our car in stock and agreed to the price that Fowler called impossible. We were at home with our car before the dealership closed at 9PM. This was the exact same car we saw at fowler...same color, same trim level. At least we were compensated $15 for the gas we wasted. That perhaps justifies my rating of 1/5. Otherwise it would most certainly be zero.

Called to inquire about an advertised vehicle - 2007 Accord VP, and was told that they had them. When we arrived, we were told that they didn't have any VP's. Very frustrated that we had driven several miles for no reason, we asked why they lied over the phone? ..... Um, it "wasn't their ad"....?... "they just run the ads to get people in the door"....The finance manager said that the salesperson was new but was doing exactly what she was told to do in lying to us.... Anyway, the 'old bait-and-switch' kicked into gear and they showed us the more expensive LX. We were there for the VP. They told us that we could test drive the 2007 LX and they would show the difference in it and the VP that was due in. We liked it and decided to buy the VP. When we went into the office we were told that the VP we thought would be in in a fews day would actually be in in about 3 weeks. We got very angry and left. Of course they tried to talk us back into buying the more expensive LX for the 'internet price'. We declined. My husband said that he would if they lowered it even further. They said that they couldn't do it. We left. They called us 3-4 times that evening and into the next day to come back and make a deal. They had talked to the boss and got approval on the amount we offered for the LX. We decided that we would take the deal on the LX because we still had confidence in HONDA eventhough Fowler had given us the runaround. We drove back the next day to pick up the car. Now, the slimey finance manager proceeded to run our credit to leverage financing, eventhough we had secured a loan thru our credit union. He told us he could get us better rates but of course was more interested in selling insurance/ service agreements, etc. We said 'no'. He finally gave up, left the room and had another finance manager come in who started the process over completely as though we had just walked in.......We told her that we were tired, had spent enough time in their office and advised her to complete the transaction so we could go home. She was very personable and friendly and apologized for the really bad experience we had with the dealership and promised to 'send us something really nice in the mail'..... Well a month later..... Good thing we aren't holding our breath.... I contacted our insurance agent to add the vehicle and discovered that we were delivered a 2006 LX and not the 2007 we test drove and thought we purchased. Of course with all of the drama and confusion with the switching of the finance managers, we didn't the double-check paperwork or think to ask. We CLEARLY had given Fowler Honda way too much credit in thinking that they are a reputable dealership. Who knew that they would be so dirty?!!! AND, when we received the payment book this weekend, I discovered that the financing was not secured by the institution we were told it had been approved thru. It was some bank in Chicago that we had never heard of! NOTHING, BUT NOTHING FOWLER HONDA SAYS SHOULD BE BELIEVED!!!!! They lied to us at every turn. It's certainly no fluke when you experience so many lies from different people one business operation. It's obviously "business as usual". I'm frustrated and angry that I wasn't better prepared to deal with the low-caliber of people that Fowler employs to do business their way: The people at Fowler Honda lie effortlessly while they smile and look you straight in your face; the "slick willie" liar of a finance manager with "The Purpose Driven Life" propped on the end of his desk (I hope one day they'll read it and learn what it means to have character.). The people at Fowler Honda, when caught in a lie, will look you as if to say, "what's the big deal?"..... These people have absolutely no concept of 'integrity'. I really used to think car salesman got a bad rap. But Fowler Honda more than lived up to the most worst perception of the proverbial shady car dealer. BEWARE!!!!!

Bought a new 2003 S2000 from them. They wouldn't let me test drive it before hand. I knew i wanted the car, so went ahead with the deal. The finance guy was pathetic. He tried to sell me on a balloon note, that he characterized as creative financing. He never would admit it was a balloon note, even after i asked to see the paper work and the paper work clearly revealed it was a balloon note. He said i just didn't understand financing and he had sold this same deal to his mother!! Boy, he must not like his mother because she is going to be mad when the balloon comes due! Do not buy from this dealer.

My son is a Student at OU. We live in Tulsa. He broke down in I-35 late at night on a Friday. Mike the Sales Manager was very helpful in letting the car get towed to the lot. Mike Mullins in the Service Department was very helpful in getting the car into service on Monday, get an diagnosis, and making quick, specific reccomendations, and having the car ready in less time than anticipated, so my son can get the car to come home after finals. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and courteous, and helped what was a very difficult and costly situation bearable.

Bought two new Hondas here, and each time was ripped. Tried to work with customer service supervisor, who turned out to be a sales supervisor. Once he made the sale, he was not interested in helping me with my issues and concerns. Called Honda admin. offices and complained. Do not buy from Fowler, they are not customer service oriented. Then they brag they sell 200 new Hondas a month. Will not trade there again.

Went to buy a car from this dealership and was told they had the car we wanted. Leslie Taylor was a wonderful saleswoman. We agreed to a price and went into the finance department which was a horrid experience. We finally got the entire deal worked out, and the dealership never found my car. The end result is they gave us our paperwork back and never found the car they had said they had found and was going to have for us almost a week prior. This dealership never appoligized for the experience or tried to make it right. What and awful experience. Buy all your Honda's elsewhere.
