From the moment we entered the building, we were greeted and dealt with staff who were compassionate and caring. This extended to the finance department, sales, and delivery staff. We were thrilled to find that the car had more amenities than we even thought. The saleswoman did her best to accommodate us because we planned on buying one car and changed it after we arrived. She even went to the back lot to retrieve the car in the color we wanted. Was a wonderful experience and will be back in the future.

The car is a very comfortable, updated vehicle. I was intending on replacing my leased vehicle later on; but was very impressed with this one and decided that the deal was too good to pass on. Salesman was very professional and had shown me several options to suit my needs.

Dealership goes out of their way to provide a good customer experience. Very professional and courteous without being pushy. Had problem with computer head a couple of days after purchasing car but it took Hyundai 4 days to approve replacement. Dealer gave me a loaner car that exceeded the quality of car I bought and made not having my car for two weeks. I would use this dealer again.

It's the trust that's built that made it easy to want to purchase our next car from this particular dealer.When being introduced to the product specialist, Gary Bartz, you could since the feeling of wanting the customer to have a good experience and not be bullied. As we explained what we were looking for Gary was very helpful in providing us with the information needed to possibly make the sale.Even though the finance people, who usually get a back rap as being insensitive to the what the customer can afford, I found even during negotiations there was a sense in pride in wanting to get the sale with a price the customer was comfortable with. This man explained the whys and answered the questions.Although the day of buying a car became exhausting, having a man with a lot of positive energy name Sirtura "T" Hornsby, the experience of waiting for the final paperwork seemed to be less of a drag. "T" showed every bell and whistle associated with this vehicle just the tone of voice and the way he presented things kept you interested.Lastly, in the moments of dealing with finance, Kevin Burwell, was a smooth transaction. First, we purchased one 2017 Santa Fe and leased another at the same time. Tom Bastidas was our salesperson for both vehicles and really did a great job from start to finish and even called a coupled of times after we took possession just to see how we were enjoying the vehicles and if he could be of assistance in any way. He also helped with making the trade in seamless and the timing for the return of our old leased vehicle an easy transition. After Tom was done we met with Kevin Burwell for the finance portion of the sale(s). Kevin was very knowledgeable and helpful, especially for leasing one and buying another at the same time. He had the on site Allstate insurance person handle the insurance end and made a two vehicle deal stress free. I have to say the two people I dealt with, Tom and Kevin, were great, they made me and my wife feel very comfortable and helped reduce the stress of the entire process of trading in a vehicle, returning a leased vehicle, purchasing one new and leasing another.

Time for a real review, not a 5 star review, which were obviously written by the staff's family and friends! Read the whole thing for a honest review. This morning I walked into Freehold Hyundai with a flyer they send me monthly, they tell me they'll trade in my Hyundai for X amount of money and put me in a new car. Now I don't need a new car, but for that price, I would have. Since it was a rainy Saturday, I thought I'd check out what this flyer was all about, knowing full well there was not a shot in xxxx they were seriously going to offer me that amount of money on a trade in. But hey, maybe not all dealerships are money hungry sharks. Wrong! As I walked in, I was approached by a schmuck named Jim Sheridan. I asked Jim what the deal was, and he read from the fine print on the back. So, it wasn't worth what they quoted on the flyer, because that price only applies to the little old lady's who only drive less than 10,000 miles to church a year and I had a significant amount more. But wait, they know how to send me a flyer, since I came in for recalls, which they blindly checked and miraculously my car didn't apply to, because I guess Hyundai USA likes to send me important recall notices in the mail for no reason. Anyway, the dealership recorded my miles at that time. So, they have an idea how many miles my car has on it.Lets get on to the best representation you can expect when visiting Freehold Hyundai. When I asked Jim Sheridan what the real offer was, he asked if I was serious about buying a new car, I answered with a "Not really", because I didn't need a new car, but maybe if the offer was a good deal, which Jim Sheridan didn't wait to hear. Instead, he laughed in my face, tossed me back my keys, and walked away laughing. Feeling really disrespected, I asked to speak to the manager, which he was kind of apologetic, and explained the deal I would really get. Still, it could have been the initial deal on the flyer and at that point I wouldn't have took it the way Jim Sheridan treated me. Hyundai's longevity and car quality is dropping as fast as their customer service. This is my second and my last Hyundai I will ever buy. DO NOT go to Freehold Hyundai, or you will be disrespected and laughed at!

Our salesman, Douglas Perman made our car buying experience enjoyable. He listened to what we wanted and did not try to change our minds. We test drove two different models and this allowed us to make our decision. Once we decided, the entire buying experience only took two hours. Douglas Perman treated us respectfully and we never felt as if we were being"cheated". Our salesperson was Tom Bastidas, very helpful and very knowledgeable about the vehicles and the processes of purchasing and leasing, and the trade in of my existing vehicle. He took the time to explain all the features, helped us with setting up Bluelink etc etc.We couldn't ask for a better salesperson.Also, Kevin Burwell was great. Doug greeted us upon our arrival and helped us right away. I came in knowing that I wanted a Tuscon. He answered every question I had and believe me, I had a lot. Doug went above and beyond to get information for me if he didn't have it handy, worked hard to find the car with the packages I wanted, hammered away with management to get us the best price, and set me up properly to drive the car off the lot. Doug is a genuine and honest guy only looking to satisfy customer needs and I am sure that he sells a lot of cars because of this. Overall, a 10 out of 10.

Brought my 2013 Genesis there for warranty repair work. Back up cam worked on and off and had gotten air bag light. Made appt and requested loaner. Got car there and explained my issues. Took loaner and left. Got call next day saying they couldn't duplicate back up cam issue and they couldn't fix without seeing it happen. I asked Percy my service advisor, what about air bag light? He said that the code was an old one that was stored in the history from when air bag had been fixed 6 months ago by another dealer and that it was never cleared. This was complete nonsense. I told him air bag was repaired, code cleared and stayed that way for 6 months. He said "well the technician cleared the code out of the history" I told him that when a code comes up it gets stored in the history. That's where is shows, that's why they saw it there! He assured me it was fixed with no issues and just wanted to know when I would be returning loaner. It appeared to me that the main concern was when I was bringing the loaner back. I returned car. Next day air bag light back on and stayed on. Nice call! So I dropped car for 2 days, got nothing fixed, and had to make appt with different dealer to remedy problem. It seems to me they should've been a little more concerned with fixing my car and less about when loaner was coming back. I wouldn't recommend going here for service.

My wife loved her 2013 Santa Fe Limited and our original dealership was asking for it back early. Figured we had such great experience with the service dept, we would give them a shot. First attempt was the most horrific experience I ever had. The salesman was arrogant, rude, and obnoxious but when I complained to the head sales manager, we were referred to a different sales team (Jerimiah - sales manager & Justin - salesman) and they went over and above our expectation to close the deal at a price lower than I wanted to originally spend.

This dealership has to be the all time best dealer I ever dealt with. just two days earlier I went into another dealer where they had an add saying "36 month lease $99 a month $3600.00 down. so I wanted to check it out by the end of the talk they tried to get me to pay out $350.00 a month and $5000.00 down. A few years ago I stopped into the old location for Freehold Hyundai to look at a vehicle. I waited around and left after 25 minutes since no one bother to help me and saying they were too busy right now! Business must be good!Totally discouraged from ever dealing with this dealership again.Fast forward to June of 2016. I was very interested in the Hyundai Santa Fe Sport and was looking for a different dealership to purchase from even though Freehold Hyundai is so close to me but did not want to deal with them. As I drove past the new dealership location on Rt 9 north, I decided just to pull in the and see the new style of the cars in the lot. After a few minutes, a salesman appeared and said hello. Reluctantly I told him I was looking to purchase a Santa Fe Sport within the next 2 months. He surprisingly was extremely courteous and gave me one of the few brochures left for the vehicle. He said my name is Steve Cirillo and whenever I was ready, just stop in and he would be glad to go over my options. No pressure at all! I went back in early August and test-drove the car. Steve let me really drive the vehicle and spent multiple visits without any pressure, which is rare at any car dealership! They explained that they had revamped the dealership with all new personnel and completely changed how they operated, especially with the customers. Steve found the color and specs for the Santa Fe I wanted and subsequently made me the deal! He is a real people person and what I consider a stand up guy. Everyone I dealt with at Freehold Hyundai completely changed my opinion of this dealership! Jeremiah Hupka, sales manager and Isaiah (knows all the feature of these cars) were great! I would highly recommend them, especially Steve Cirillo!

We were greeted by Anthony Mayfield who went above and beyond in getting us a vehicle that we desired with all the amenities that we wanted. We drove in a few different Sonata's to get a feel for the handling and ride. Anthony was professional and helped us find the right car for our needs. We were extremely pleased with our buying experience at Freehold Hyundai. Once we chose the car and worked out the pricing we went into see Kevin Burwell The Business Manager who went over the paperwork. That was seamless as he explained what each paper was for and how the figures all add up to our final monthly cost. Due to the vehicle being outside it had water spots that needed to be compounded out and then re-waxed to bring out the beauty of the paint. This was handled by Sirtura Hornsby who liked to be called "T". He arraigned the schedule so the car could be detailed on my day off and in a few hours. He was great and the car came out looking great. Overall it was one of the best vehicle purchases that I have ever made extremely happy and pleased to continue to do business with Freehold Hyundai!

As soon as I arrived at Freehold Hyundai I was greeted right away by my friendly salesperson Kumar. He and the sales manager Ondra helped me to make the decision between buying the vehicle I had been leasing or leasing a new one. They were both very patient in explaining things to me, which made my decision easier and always gave me their full attention. My salesperson Kumar helped me understand the vehicle specifications and was also very patient as I contemplated on the color I wanted. Kumar showed me how to operate the features of my car. He made sure my car was delivered to me squeaky clean. Kumar contacted me the very next day to make sure I was happy with my car. We were greeted and match with our sales representative, Karen, as soon as we arrived. This is the first dealership where a sales rep has ever taken the time to find out my needs and desires in a car, and I was impressed that she didn't automatically steer me to the most expensive option as I wavered between two models. The purchasing process was straight forward, and were presented with different financing and lease options so we could choose which option best worked for us. Freehold Hyandai is also one of the cleanest and most professional and modern showrooms and service areas I've seen, with great customer service.

Was it a legitimate letter. I had 7 months left on lease. They pretty much honored the letter, needless to say I left with a new leased vehicle.

On Tuesday July 19, 2016, my son and I came to Freehold Hyundai to get all pertinent information regarding turning in the current lease and obtaining finance options. IMMEDIATELY, we were greeted with introductions, smiles and willingness to assist. It was such a pleasure not to have the usual high pressure sales tactics. Cary the sales manager introduced us to Steve Cirillo. Steve is truly the one of the most sincerest people I have EVER met. We decided to lease the 2016 Hyundai Tuscon Sport in Caribbean Blue. The Product Specialist, Sirtura Hornsby was very knowledgable of and showed us the features which we love. The Rear facing camera, proximity (blind spot) indicators and alert, the multi-mode transmission system (standard/Eco/Sport) both automatic and Sport mode and the automatic rear hatch lift are all features that make this the most user friendly auto we've ever owned.

First let me say that it was a pleasure doing business with the staff at Freehold Hyuandai . I do not live in the area , but I had a bad experience when I visited the Hyuandai Dealership in my area which recently changed ownership. The staff at Freehold Hyuandai are exceptional , especially Christina Melendy (Finance Mgr ) and Jim Sheridan ( Product Specialist). Leasing/ buying a new car is a process , and can be somewhat stressful . Christina and Jim went out of their way to ensure that the process went as smooth as possible . I have been in the Customer Service business for 27 years and Christina & Jim are totally professional. They treat a customer with respect , both put me at ease with their friendly demeanor. I just love my new SUV ( This is my second one ) . The only change I would make is that the interior be just the one shade of beige instead of the 2 tone color . Overall a very good experience. The first vehicle I decided on (and took home) turned out not to have all of the equipment that I believed it did - and was not told that it was without a CD player. But I called and the dealership was terrific and took the car back and I leased a different car (with CD) for some additional cost. Additionally there was one employee who - a product specialist - was extremely nice and knowledgeable and a pleasure to meet. His first name was Sertulo (not certain of this) but he was referred to as 'T' by all others. He should be commended and acknowledged as an asset to the dealership.

I was looking for a newer used car that fits my budget, with no money out of pocket, and only a decent credit score. Jim Sheridan met me at the door and instantly made it his point to help me out. I plan to continue with what works. I speak strongly about Hyundia vehicles, but I can't say that about their dealerships until now. I dreaded spending my typical 10 hours at the dealership getting aggravated with aggressive sales teams. That was not what I experience today. From the time I walked into Freehold Hyundai, every person I worked with through the entire process were so incredibly nice, personable and non-pushy. Karen Lignelli, my sales woman was amazing!!! She made me feel like me buying this car was important and did everything she could do to make it easy as possible. To be honest I do not do surveys because in all my other experiences the sales person was more concerned with how I graded their survey then me. I felt like over exceptional service deserved my time to take this survey.

I wanted to share a rare event with everyone. A stress free car buying experience..Yes they do exist. I recently purchased a 2016 Hyundai Tucson at Freehold Hyundai on Route 9 north and the service from the moment I walked in the door to look at the car until the moment I was handed the keys to my new car was simply OUTSTANDING. The entire team was focused on the customer experience (much different from the staff at the old location). I was greeted by William Martinez (salesman) the moment I walked in to the showroom in a polite and non-threating manner and he offered his services and showed me a few cars giving me the highlights of each. William was a true professional throughout the process. Once I made the decision to purchase, I met with Kristina Melendez (Finance Manager) and finalized the numbers (in about 10 minutes) with some added options related to extended warranty coverage. The digital signing process used by Freehold Hyundai had the entire sit-down and sign process reduced to just 15 minutes. Yes I did say 15 minutes. Even I could not believe it. The days of hours of signing paper has been eliminated. Again, cant say enough about the experience as well as the staff. They wanted me to have the car as much as I wanted it at a FAIR price. And throughout the process they were always mindful /respectful of my time and their service. Peter Postorino (General Sales Manager) congrats to the team.they truly executed on all aspects of the sale. The final thing that sealed the deal was the welcome email after the purchase from Audriena DePalma (Customer Service Manager) welcoming me to the Freehold Hyundai family and getting scheduled for my first oil change in July to ensure I take good care of new car NICE JOB TEAM!!!!! I just leased a 2016 Sport Sonata and the experience was exceptional. The closing was a quality but not time consuming exercise, which I have found with many dealers to be 3-4 hours at times. Hyundai were under 2 hours.

I went to Freehold Hyundai to check out a Tuscon & Santa Fe. Our sales rep, Joe Postorino, had me and my husband test drive both cars and answer our questions. After a second test drive, my mind was made up on the Santa Fe! Coming out of a 4 wheel drive car, I love the way the Sport (front wheel drive) drove & handled. We picked one that was fully loaded, discussed the features and price. After a short discussion, settled on a price. Came back the next day for the paperwork and picked up the vehicle. I am VERY happy with the car and the experience at the dealership. Joe was a pleasure to work with!

Had an excellent experience purchasing our Tucson from Thomas Bastidas at this dealership. He was very cordial, and very accommodating. We came in to test drive the car late on Saturday and told him that we were interested in that particular car but were under a time constraint and could not go through the process that night. We set up an appointment to finish up two days later and it was easy and stress-free, though still time consuming. Went to this dealership to test drive a Tucson. We were immediately greeted by Thomas Bastidas. He was very cordial throughout our time at the dealership. We told him what we wanted in the car, and he got one for us to drive. We had purchased an Azera at this dealership last year, so we know the buying process is very very time consuming. After the test drive, we told Thomas that we were very interested in the car, but we were under a time constraint. He was very accommodating. We gave him some information to get the ball rolling so that when we returned we could have somewhat of a head start. The entire purchasing process is what it is, but it wasn't stressful and we felt we got a fair price and a fair amount on our trade-in. After the purchase was complete, it was late, so again, I asked for another appointment to get the new-car tutorial and again, Thomas was accommodating.

I would highly recommend buying a car from Freehold Hyundai. Both Doug Perman and Karen Lignelli were extremely accommodating. They both really made us feel comfortable. Karen could not do enough! Her customer service skills far exceed the norm. We were very happy with how smoothly everything went on the purchase of our new SUV. Even though our purchase ran past the closing time, Karen stayed an hour past closing to review all the details and setup the Bluetooth. We never felt rushed. Buying a car is always a stressful time. However, we left feeling relaxed and happy with our new vehicle.

I was at the dealership for 5 hrs...too long. They were unaware of their own promotions online and had to show them the promotions. I brought in my Blue book value for my trade in car and was told it was half that.I have excellent credit and my finance charge was 4.49 %. Eventually worked out a deal but felt the financing was a little high.

I selected this dealership based on its ability to provide good financing, as advertised. Based on my credit profile, I was expecting to be treated as though they were doing me a favor by selling me a car. Actually, the favor was the financing, not the car. There's a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes to get good financing. I was expecting my sales representative, Steven Cirillo, to attempt to sell me a car I did not go there to buy. I knew what I wanted, and he RESPECTED my choice. That's the difference here. I was not steered toward their choice. They presented the options professionally, and worked diligently to arrange financing on what I wanted. My experience was positive, and I was respected. I am satisfied with the Veloster I chose.

I own a Hyundai Sonata and 2 Lexus cars. Anytime you have or think you have an issue, all the dealers i have dealt with [ Honda, Toyota, Lexus etc ] will look at the car and do a diagnosis without charging you. When my local mechanic [ I have a 2013 Sonata with 32 K miles ] told me the feeder oil pipe to the turbo was leaking, I took the car to Freehold Hyundai after making an appointment for 8:15 AM. First they did not look at the car for the whole day. Next day they look at the car and see no oil leak, but charged me $125 diagnosis fee. Hyundai dealers have a pretty bad reputation of not honoring warranty claims, but Freehold Hyundai goes one step further, they RIP you off to look to see if the car has an oil leak. That will be my last visit to Freehold Hyundai Service and the last Hyundai in my garage. While I was there, one of the service reps was dealing with an older gentleman sitting beside me. The rep was rude and would not listen to what the older gentleman had to say. After the rep left the gentleman was pretty upset - cause the rep would not listen to him. Hyundai has come a long way and make descent cars, but they dealerships and service etc are C grade.

I have owned a 2007 Hyundai Sonata for 8 years and it had 86,000 miles on it. I recently went to the auto show in NY over the weekend and was looking at the new Hyundai Sonata. I decided to sit in the 2016 Sonata and fell in love. On Monday, my dad and I took a drive over to Freehold Hyundai. They had one car left on the lot in the color that I wanted (Lakeside Blue). After weighing the pros and cons of purchasing a new car, I finally decided to buy it from Anthony Mayfield. He is a great salesman. Very knowledge and very helpful. He makes sure you are satisfied before you leave the dealership. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at the dealership and I am very impressed by the car.

I was looking at dealerships for Hyundai in my area and saw Freehold Hyundai on the internet. I had a trade in vehicle so I filled out the form on their web site to see what it would be worth on a trade in. The value range I was given was fair for my vehicle. Afterward I received a call from Sean at the dealership asking what type of Hyundai I was interested in and what my requirements were. I wanted a used Santa Fe Sport. I explained that I had a wish list that they would have to fulfill if I was going to make the trip into the dealership. I wanted enough for my trade in to pay off my current loan and keep my payments at or lower than what I was currently paying. I also didn't want a car with a lot of miles on it in order to keep my payments at my current rate. After a few questions of how much I owe on my vehicle and what my current payments were, Sean told me he had a Santa Fe Sport in mind for me and we set up an appointment for me to come into the dealership where Salesman Joe Postorino would make my wish list come true. When I got to the dealership, Joe Postorino was there to greet me. We sat down and talked over my budget and my wish list. Joe listened to every word and I felt very comfortable talking to him because I felt he was honest and genuine. Joe told me that he was going to show me the car that Sean had in mind for me. He agreed that it would fit my wish list. The car was beautiful, clean, and drove like a dream. The car was the one I wanted, 2014 Santa Fe Sport. It was a year newer than my trade in and had low miles on it. The money they were going to give me for my trade in paid off my current loan and my payment would actually be less than my current payment. They gave me everything on my wish list and more. I couldn't believe it, the dealership and Joe Postorino made me very happy with helping me get into the car I wanted with no problems at all. I am very happy with Freehold Hyundai. Ask for Joe Postorino, he's everything you want in a good salesman, knowledgeable, helpful, and honest.

I never write reviews but felt compelled to write this one. My wife and I leased a Sonata from Freehold Hyundai. I must say, these guys made the entire experience quite fun and enjoyable from start to finish. We worked with salesman Thomas Bastidas. He was very courteous and could not do enough for us. We took the car for multiple test drives, looked at many cars and he was very patient, helpful and knowledgeable. His manager Doug got involved in the negotiations (classic) but was very reasonable and quite fun to work with. The Finance manager Ryan Guderian answered all of our questions when going through the lease paperwork and was also very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. We ended up finishing pretty late in the day and they made a special appointment for us to come back and get a full orientation of all the car's features. Thomas and Geoff Covino sat with us, help load apps, and demonstrated every feature in the car... again very patient and helpful. GM Peter Postarino checked in with us throughout the process to ensure everything was going well. at Pete, you've got a very nice team ... well done.

I never write reviews but in this case felt compelled to do so. My wife and I leased a Sonata from Freehold Hyundai. We went through a classic car buying experience but with one difference. Every person in the process was great to deal with. We worked with salesman Thomas Bastidas. My wife and I were pretty particular and looked at several cars and took multiple test drives. Thomas couldnt do more for us. He was extremely accommodating and was also very knowledgeable. Negotiating the final deal included the classic involvement of the sales manager, in this case Doug Perman. This part is usually painful but in this case, Doug was a pleasure to deal with. He was very reasonable and we actually had a fun time with him throughout. Financing manager Ryan Guderian walked us through the leasing paperwork. Ryan was very experienced and clearly explained every piece of the paperwork package and answered all of our questions. We finished up pretty late so we were invited back to get a full orientation of the car at our convenience so we wouldnt be rushed. Thomas and Geoff Covino spent a great deal of time with us, reviewing every feature of the car, loading apps and helping customize the car for us. GM Peter Postorino introduced himself and made himself available throughout. Pete, youve got a great team. Thanks for a very pleasant experience.

i would recommend this dealership to my friends, and I have done so already. The place is very bright and clean. All the salespeople are pleasantly dressed. Every one was friendly, even the ones that were not our salesperson. Jim Sheridan, my salesperson, was exceptionally easy to deal with. We knew what we wanted and Jim found the perfect car for us. My husband and I went to buy a car on Saturday and we had our two kids with us - one is a toddler and one is an infant. Needless to say we were not expecting to have a very pleasant experience, but fortunately we were happily surprised. Everyone who was working at Freehold Hyundai was very nice. Moreover, the product specialist, Steve Cirillo was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. And in addition to working with Steve we were also fortunate to work with Doug Perman who is the sales manager. We didn't feel pressured into anything and we were able to take our time to look at different options and ask a bunch of questions. After taking up a good amount of their time we walked out of the dealership as happy customers. We got a brand new car that we love and we feel that we got a very good deal as well.
