worst place ever I had an appointment with Fred Watson at 12noon I stood there till 1o'clock and no one showed up and when I tried asking for any assistance with any supervisor or manager they literally ignored me as if I wasn't even there and walked away and I had to go back home without any service.and don't ever ever speak to Rachel Ghiringhelli from Customer Relations she's very rude and will do her best to cut you while talking and will literally piss you off.

I needed 150,000-mile service and was rather surprised when I called in on Friday afternoon and was able to get an appointment for the next day. I gladly took them up on their offer and was given an appointment time. I was asked my name, what I needed to have done and was told to just show up at my appointment time. I showed up about 5-minutes before my appointment and was rather surprised to see a huge line. About 30 minutes go by and I was finally given a number for a representative to talk me about what I needed, at that time I was number 29 but I had an appointment and that did not include the people who just showed up nor the people who just filled out a form and left keys in the car before leaving. At the 50-minute mark I was finally approached by my new found friend the service representative, who proceed to get the info about my car and ask what service I needed, never mind I had already given all of this info to the person the day before. I explained what I needed again and then the upsell started. When I told him ALL I needed was the 150,000-mile service and did not need anything else. I think he apologized 6-times for being late and the process talking so long but I had an appointment (you could tell this was well rehearsed and said often). From start to finish the drop off of my car took an just a little over an hour, but I had an appointment. If I did this to one of my customers, I would be immediately fired - it just sad that in this day and age there is no more customer service and it has become the norm and accepted, but I had an appointment. I wish I could say this was my first bad experience with Fremont Toyota, but it is not and I should have learned from the first time to NEVER come back.

I would give 0 stars if I couldDishonest, too pushy, not clear, try to trick you. Not clear about fees and lie about it I walked to this dealership to look for a RAV4 with some specific options. I found what I was looking for. I asked them if I can get the same price offered by another dealer since they have the color that I'm looking for, same exact car and options as the other dealership overall, they did not explain for me the breakdown of fees. they told me that it's normal to have $2500 financing fees for 0% APR deal. They lied about checking the other car's specifications and informed me that it does not have navigation "but it did" and charged me $545 dollars extra for navigation. Worse part is after they give me the final price with all fees, they informed me that it was done for another car and they need to charge me $2000 extra for the car I want because the sales man did a small mistake I felt like the whole process is a bid spam, I called the other dealership to ask about the financing charges and navigation. they informed me nothing is financing charges if it's 0% APR and confirmed that the car has a full navigation system. when i told them I don't feel i was treated with respect and honestly and don't want to continue with this purchase. the salesman got so angry and start shouting at me. I never had such a bad experience in my life like this one ... never expected it from Toyota

The service department is always trying to upsell garbage services and not address actual problems that should have been covered under the warranty. Dont go there and waste your time and money.

So wanted to shop around, test drive and get $$ numbers for the new Prius 3 and Camry LE Hybrid. We were lucky that we got to try the cars with possibly the nicest sale agent around, ALI. He was an absolute gentleman who was straightforward with us from the get go and we thought we might give him some business soon enough for his genuine behavior towards us. I should add that the guy had a terrible headache which you could see on his face and yet not for a second was he not attentive. Then came in his manager, AJ MOHABAT. A complete uncivilized xxxxxxxxx, who does exactly what you think sleazy salesmen do, treat you like you eat xxxx. From the beginning we knew he was a jerk when he kept going over questions to which he already had answers to. He never introduced himself nor asked our names. He came in like a savior and acted like we were begging for him to allow us to buy a car though actually he is just a nobody who has no negotiating power. He had to go multiple times to ask his boss as the numbers he kept bringing were pure garbage. This was what he told me when I asked him if Toyota has any loyalty programs for returning customers, "No, Toyota doesn't need loyalty programs as people will buy our cars anyways, there is always a waiting for our cars." He was trying to push a base Camry Hybrid to us for $37K ($32K after $5K trade in for our 2012 car ). When I said that number is too high, he offered a great discount to round it down to $35K. When I asked him if that's their final number, he said "Yes, but only for today. Tomorrow it might change." I told him that was obvious, but can he go down further to which he replied, " we can give you better discounts when you are serious about buying". Lol! At least he was not serious about selling. This guy single-handedly made sure we don't buy a car from here and make sure we inform our friends to avoid this place. Seriously, there is another Toyota dealership 5 min away from here on 880 South. To show how classy he is, when he realized he could not make a deal with us, he abruptly walked away.Best of luck to those who expect to be respected at this dealership.

Very dishonest salesman as he tried every possible way to hide and deny the discrepancies in the numbers. Started with an email to their Internet team for a quote and never received a personal reply to any of them. Decided to call after a week of no response and got a so-so quote from two different ppl, the first being the Internet director who didn't seem to want to work with me. Finally decided to go in-person and met Internet sales manager Wahid. Seemed real nice, very genuine, didn't know a whole lot about the Camry Hybrid that I wanted (caught him making up some stuff, but didn't bother me), walked me through the lot and wasn't pushy at all. I knew exactly which car I wanted ahead of time as they were the only dealer in the bay with the color I want. I played dumb until we sat to talk numbers. He quoted me the same as the phone ppl, then reduced it by $500 saying its a Costco discount (now $25748). He claims its now $1500 under invoice in addition to the Toyota rebate. I only wanted to talk sales price as rebates aren't relevant when negotiating. Told him I'd sleep on it. Texted him the next day to see if he could go lower as I was quoted several hundred less at another dealership in a different color. He said he'd ask for an additional 100-200 off since its the end of the month. I asked for it in writing with the break down of taxes/fees and the $500 rebate. He said no prob but not til Friday (today) as he was on his way home. Received a text today with a quote of $401 more. No idea how he got that, asked him for a breakdown/purchase order. He refused citing its only if I bring it to my bank. I then asked him to explain and he said it's $200 less than his original quote. That's impossible as the math didn't add up and asked for a price sheet again. Finally i got it and it said SALES PRICE of 26149 instead of the original quote of 25748. I pointed it out and simply said it reflects invoice of $27248-1800. I said that doesn't equal 26149! He ignored it over and over citing its $200 less, then said the numbers seem inflated because the $500 rebate needs to be added on and taxed before taken off. That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard, all lies. I keep pointing him to the sales price on the sheet and ask he do the math, but refuses and says it is correct and the OTD price reflects it. So overall he is either math-challenged or is intentionally trying to con me into believing the numbers work. Avoid this dealership at all costs, not honest in any way and goes out of their way to trick their customers. Funny thing is that he knows I'm a banker yet he tries his best to pull one over me. See my yelp review and pics of the texts.

Otherwise, all went well and very comfortable facility. Hot dog and chips were great during waiting time so customers weren't starved past this weekend :-)

I started out at Piercy Toyota and had a horrible, bad, experience.. They tried to sell me a used car that was in an accident and then tried to cover it up once I brought it to there attention and said "oh it was just in a minor finder bender accident". But it's okay to sell.. I would never go back there. I called up Fremont Toyota while standing in the parking lot at Piercy, and I was sold through the phone.. I left and went there & Purchased a new 2015 Toyota and had a blast right from the start! I had the best customer service I have ever seen in my time alive!! I would like to give a shoutout to Salesman Alexander!! He helped me pick out a new car that fits my everyday life style!! & he was right. I love my new toyota. Also not only am I going to return in the future, but also send my friends, family, and coworkers to fremont toyota. My car buying experience was the bomb and if it wasn't for Alexandre and the entire fremont Toyota slaes team, my time there wouldnt have been so exciting.. Thank u fremont Toyota.

Worked with Unalda Chapman to purchase a new Rav4. Unalda was very professional, responded to my questions via email, took the time to explain the pricing and took the time to find the car from another dealership with the color and options we were looking for. When we showed up at Fremont Toyota to see the car, there was no pressure placed on us to buy the car with Unalda. If we did not like the car, Unalda would have simply try to find one again from another dealership or just order one that we would like. So if you are one of the ones that dislike or fears sales folks approaching you as soon as you get out of your car, then you need to make an appointment with Unalda. She will tell you up front what the cost is and what the final total will be after tax and fees.Overall, we were very pleased with Unalda and well treated at Fremont Toyota. If we were to buy another Toyota, I would definitely consider them first even if it means that we would have to drive across the bridge to get the car. Their prices are competitive if not better than others.

Fremont Toyota pulls all the usual shady tricks to higher the promised price was given after your application and credit were completed. Horrible service. I wish I could give 0 stars. On 05/31/2015, we went there tried to get a Prius Plugin Advance. The sale man Toor got us the deal and the price was promised by the Floor Manager AJ Mohabat. After we filled out the finance application and they ran our credit, the finance guy came to us with a lot of accessories fee that we never agreed. After we refused the additional accessories, they called us in to the sales managers room and the General Sales Manager Mark Amin told me he did not agree to the price given us and, "invoice" in hand, bullying us about how he can't lose money on the car. Seriously, if you didnt agree our offer, why took our info and ran our credit. People don't go there. TOYOTA needs to do something about this dealership. It is totally damaging TOYOTA reputation.

I Purchased a Mercedez 2010 C300 on 5/3/15 and was help by a young man by the of Isaac, he was new but helpful. I called the next day after talking to my credit union and asked to speak with someone in finance Till this day i have not recieved return call from anyone in finance 5/15/15. On 5/7/15 i recieved a call from customer service thanking me for visiting on 5/5/15 (which i never was there on that day) I explained i had called to speak with someone from finance and had not heard fron anyone, so they transfered me to nick from finance and said he would have the finance rep who helped call me back and he never did. I also called to have a parking lamp fixed that was missing when i purchased the car and i was told to bring the car to have it fixed at no cost but when i brought the car in on 5/9/15 i was told they had ordered the wrong part. but they would call me when the part was in. So, i waited until 5/15/15 to follow up after not hearing from anyone again. and was told that the part was not in yet but i would recieve a call when it arrived. Not much Confidence that it will happen. From my experience most dealerships can have parts delivered with a few days.

They are the worst dealer I have ever seen, I bought a car for the first time and I didn't have a good credit score so they took the full advantage of it and gave me a higher rate then a new car but they gave me a used car, I need a car so I count say anything because I was new in usa so i didn't know anything whatever they told me I belived them. Now after 5000 miles the car need maintenance and for maintenance I bought oil change insurance from them, but when I went to do that the service guy told me that I not eligible for the service because the finance manager sold me the wrong pacakge... In one word Fremont Toyota sucks please everyone do not go there because once they sell you the car they will forget you..

I found a car I wanted to buy, but the salesman got really aggressive... he started arguing with me and inferred that I was wasting his time, etc. I have owned Toyotas for years and I have been to a lot of dealerships, and I have never met people that were so disrespectful to a customer. I went to another dealership and paid just a little more, which I figure is a good investment; if they are that rude before they have your money, I can't imagine how bad it would be trying to resolve any issues that might come up.

Recently purchased a 2015 RAV14 Toyota from Fremont Toyota. Recommended by a family member to stop by dealership. Manuel Alingog assisted in the purchase of 2 vehicles in one day. My family and I spent the whole day with Manuel test driving many cars and choosing options for financing the vehicles. Very friendly and patient with our decision making. Knowledgeable in selected vehicles that we test drove. No pressure to purchase. Highly recommend to stop by this dealership to see Manuel.

We generally take several months looking at, test driving, and deciding on a car when we purchase it. We decide on 5-6 different brands and styles and search these out in the dealerships and online. Once the type, model and color is decided on my husband will return to a dealership alone to deal with the sales pitch and hours and hours the obligatory hassles and bunny trails even though he just wants to pay cash for the car as is and go home. (one time it was 5-1/2 hours!! They accidentally threw my husband's keys up on the dealership roof so they try to talk him into spending more money while someone figured out how to get the keys back). This time we had 2 dealerships to check out 2 different cars. The first we left after just a few minutes because the run around was so intense by the salesman. Then we came to Fremont Toyota. Now, we were here some months ago looking at a Prius and was approached by Julie Chang, a salesperson. I just loved her on the test drive and even my husband agreed. Knowledgeable, very friendly, honest and not a hint of "the big run around". Came back to find Julie and see what kind of deal we could get. Found exactly what I wanted so went in to do the haggling... haggling never happened! Maybe 2-3 back and forths regarding trade in and the car's price, but they were pleasant and very smooth. We were treated with respect and found Julie and the manager to be very workable. But, it was Julie Chang that made this entire experience a joy, rather than a frustrating and irritating exercise in playing chess with a car salesman. Love my car and would recommend this dealership and our Julie to anybody.

The most important thing is to learn about your car or truck. Most people just go to the dealer websites and look at the options. It is important when buying a new car to actually read the reviews because you can't afford to make a mistake on a new car purchase. If I had not read the reviews I would not have found out about the feature rich "LEXUS" of Tundra pickups, the 1794 version. Those who purchase Mercedes, BMW, Landrover would all agree that if they were to purchase a truck they would most likely look at the Cadillac which is a good choice but the price of the ultra short bed Cadi's is Outrageous. The Tundra 1794 with proximity and blind spot monitors is just what you need in a real truck. My favorite part of any car or truck has got to be the seats. If I am not comfortable in the seat I won't buy the car. These seats are air conditioned as well as having heaters to warm you in the cold winters. I love how the truck remember steering wheel and seat position so when you climb in it is near effortless. I am a big guy so I really don't like to contort myself while getting into the cockpit. But then you sit in the seat and it is just so comfortable you have to try it to believe it. The seats sold the truck. The heavy duty Camel colored seats are stock on the 1794 version. I believe that anyone could sit in the 8 way adjustable seats and be comfortable. You like big meats on your truck. The 1794 has 20" meets stock. The truck feels well planted yet when driving it doesn't feel like a big truck. I believe a diminutive person could easily feel comfortable in driving a big truck like this because the steering is near effortless. I am still learning all the bells and whistles of the truck so I can't write about the techy stuff but I can say that blue tooth phone connectivity is Kewl along with MP3 memory card reader is also kewl. The GPS / Rear backup monitor a bright and clear to read in a sunny day. Now to the heart and soul of the Tundra. The 1794 comes standard with the 5.7L "I can go anywhere" feeling you get along with the 4 wheel drive. The engine has so much torque it is easy to tap the pedal and get the rear wheels to bark for you. The Tundra 1794 ride, the comfort, the attitude, put you on the top of the world. I would suggest that if you really want a top of cross over or minivan, consider the added utility of a truck which is much more capable than those Urban Gorilla's. Lastly, I chose the Internet and the Internet sales person because he only gets a fixed commission for each car or truck he sells. My Internet sales person was Manuel Alingog from Fremont Toyota. I went to him with a vehicle which I knew I wanted to buy, I checked their inventory, I shopped 6 other stores getting quotes via phone calls for the vehicle I wanted and got competitive quotes from all of them. I saved a lot of money by doing this instead of walking into a dealership unprepared. The big take away here is to know more than the sales person. Yes, you will find that most sale people are like the masses. They don't take the time to really know their vehicles. That isn't their job. Their job is to sell you a car. If you purchase via the Internet and call the various Internet managers don't expect to get a price unless you have done your homework and selected the vehicle you want.

Fremont Toyota Direct Sales Manager James Haskell did a great job smoothly during the whole process. He gave us a fair price at the first and saved us negotiation time. What I appreciate most about James during the whole process were his honesty and straightforwardness. He pointed out a trick which our previous dealer was playing on us and gave us useful information directly to help us make better decisions. The whole process was hassle-free. He didn't even try to sale any extra packages to us and gave us reasonable advices about maintenance service, refinancing and others.I'd like highly recommend James and Fremont Toyota.

Many of our friends recommend Freemont is a place to buy new cars with fair price always cheaper than any other places in the Bay Area. We came from Japan and used to drive "only" Nissan (Bluebird, Pathfinder (Terrano), Caravan (No equivalent here in the US) this time we decide to try a Toyota (not Lexus! Because Lexus is not popular in Japan) to see the difference as this brand is the top seller in many decades. James Kang (Sales Consultant) gain our trust right away so we decide to buy the Camry Hybrid 2015 this evening, although financially not well prepared yet to bring home this new car so fast, just want a visit to see what they have. James Kang is sincere, well mannered, all his explanation is well detailed, and what is the important for us is his trustworthiness that few people have it. Next we met the Finance Manager, Harry Soenardi, also very helpful, simple and fast, again we add on some more useful options into the invoice that jumps, but we are really satisfied with our purchase. So in just 3 hours, we came at 6:00pm drive the Camry Hybrid 2015 home at 9:00pm, yay. I strongly recommend James Kang and Harry Soenardi, as your next Toyota car, go look for them!

We recently purchased our Highlander from Simon, internet sales manager. It was a great experience. He was able to provide a price without any hidden dealer add-ons that seem to be common place at other dealerships. I also spoke 3 other Toyota dealers (Sunnyvale, Livermore and Dublin). None of these others were as helpful as Simon. He listened to what we wanted, located a vehicle and provided excellent pricing. After arriving at the dealership, he had the vehicle ready for a test drive (no waiting). He processed the purchase efficiently (no unnecessary waiting) and the finance person (Richard) was efficient, clear and didn't play any games.Fremont Toyota made the typically miserable car buying experience pleasant. Highly recommend them for anyone interested in a Toyota!!!

I purchased my first vehicle through Fremont Toyota and it was a very nice experience. There was no pressure nor did I ever feel like I was wasting the salesman's time. He was very patient, listened to what I had to say and answered any questions to the best of his ability. He was respectful, helpful and knowledgeable. His name was Dennis Franklin and I would recommend his assistance anytime. The finance manager (Andy) was very respectful and though nobody enjoys reading and signing seemingly countless forms, he made it as enjoyable as he could. For me, being treated respectfully as if I'm an intelligent and important part of their business is key to making me a repeat customer and I will definitely patronize Fremont Toyota again.

I recently had to look for a used replacement for my previous car which got totalled in an accident (also bought from Fremont Toyota). We decided to go with a used 2009 Hyundai Elantra Touring that was being offered up at Fremont Toyota for the price range that I was looking for. It was pretty much a no-brainer for us to call up Adnan Kazmee (he goes by Kaz though) to help us out with this purchase since he helped us out with the previous one. Kaz was very sympathetic to our situation and took some time to make sure the price, financing, etc. were manageable but also worth it for what we are paying for. More importantly though, he always made sure we actually LIKED the cars he was test driving for us. If you're looking for a new Toyota or a used car of any make and you're in the area then Fremont Toyota is definitely the place to go. Make sure you ask for Adnan "Kaz" Kazmee, he'll definitely take care of you.

We came to Fremont toyota on a Sunday to have our car serviced. Our appointment was really early so I came to pick up my husband after dropping our car to service department. We don't know but for some reason we kinda' looked around used car department to browse their Camrys. I've been wanting to trade our other car which is a Corolla since last year. I have a 15 month old baby but since we have a good working 4runner, I was just really hoping for a full sized car coz' i feel it's not too big as an SUV but not too compact as my current car. James Kang approached us at the parking lot and offered help. In my mind, omg they will really try to sell us something. And right there and then I told my husband "we've been though this before, we still have our car, we won't be super impulsive and pressured." That day was not really a day to buy, although i've been wanting the car, but it was not an urgent thing. James came back and talked to us. He had a very nice and light aura- No hassle, No pressure. and that was the first time I felt that way with a dealer. From test driving the car, til contract signing- we didnt feel rushed and obligated. I guess to make long story short, yes i traded my car- but the process was so smooth. And even though we got a 2014 Camry, slightly used, I think we got what we wanted and we are happy. James took care of everything even we had to come back to fix slight dents i found, he was very prompt and honest. He is highly recommended, if you wanna have a good car buying experience.

My mom was involved in a collision and her Prius was totaled a few weeks ago. She loved her old car and I was determined to get her back into a new Prius as soon as I could. I checked all the different websites and even got some online internet quotes from other Toyota dealership and knew about how much we were looking at paying for a new 2015 Prius Four. Kaz gave us a no haggle price that was well under what we thought we were going to pay and we shook hands right away to buy the car. There was no stress and we were thrilled with the price. We also spent minimal time with the Finance Director and were very happy with the process. This was my second time buying from Fremont Toyota and I would definitely recommend Kaz. He is the manager and his prices are very competitive. Trust me, do yourself a favor and at least call Kaz if you are looking at a new car. He will give you a great price.

I just bought a brand new 2014 Toyota Sienna last week from this dealership. Today I brought in my minivan to install a backing radar system. When I returned the loaner car, the service department has no one to help me. I looked for help for almost 10 minutes, finally found a service adviser who is available, and it took him another 10 minutes to find out my car's status. When I finally got my minivan, and drove it home...and you know what? The parking brake is not working, and the hood latch switch is broken! This minivan has only less 200 mi on it. I just can not believe the worship and service from this dealership! Way under my expectation! Too bad! I am so unhappy that I spent almost $40K there on a new car to just get this kind of service level.I will walk in the service department tomorrow first thing to see how they will address my concern here.ps: Even they double checked my cellphone # when I left minivan, they still called the wrong one (my wife's & home #) to leave a message about my car was ready. Nothing is right on their communication in my case. I complained on site before I left, they said they write me an e-mail. They don't even have my e-mail address to begin with, how can they reach me by e-mail to follow up? I just can not believe it! Come on, at least you need to take a note of customer's contact info.

I have been looking for a long time for a fully loaded black Lexus and Freemont Toyota had just the car I was looking for at a great price. The customer service from James from the internet department was outstanding. We drove a long ways to get this car and he arranged everything in advance. And Harry from the fiance department also did a great job and expediting all the paperwork. We were in and out of the dealership in under and hour. It was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I would have given them a 5 star rating, except they showed the car in the evening with the used car showroom outside lights off, and the car was very dusty. I think this was on purpose because there was a problem with the passenger side door that had been egged. It left a circular mark in the paint job. It was not really bad and most of the time you wouldn't really notice. I even used my phone flashlight to look over the entire car. It was too dusty and dark outside, so I missed it. However, I now feel that they hid this from us to keep from going down any more on price. All in all, it was still a great deal, even with the passenger door imperfection.

This dealershiip was extremely courteous and persistent in getting me the exact car I wanted. I originally came to Fremont Toyota all the way from Santa Cruz because when researching prices on my Avalon Hybrid, they were far and away the best. Unfortunately, they did not have the exact color I wanted in stock, yet they managed to swap with other dealerships to find the right one. There was no pressure, no argument, and I never had the feeling, as I have had at so many other dealerships, that they were trying to squeeze every last nickel out of me. On the day I finally picked the car up, the dealer I had been working with came in on his day off to get me going, and I was the last customer out the door before they closed.Highly recommended.

I usually go to Hayward Toyota for service even though I live in Newark. Moreover, someone recommended Fremont Toyota, I first hesitated, then I spoke to Eric. I sense he was sincere in really trying to help me on my first visit. As we all know going to a new place for service can be pretty trying and unsettling not knowing what to expect. Moreover, Eric stepped up to the plate and assured me they will take care of everything. When I got word my car was complete for service I had a wide smile on my face, relieved! I was even more at ease when I was told the price for servicing my car. It was certainly fair. I did not leave Fremont Toyota (in particular being female) cheated and ripped off by a male dominated environment (which is rare in my personal experience). Therefore, I have no problem recommending Fremont Toyota, because now they have a brand new customer. ME!Thank you guys....and keep up the good work....

The Service Department at Fremont Toyota should change their name to the 'rude, we don't need you business department'. Hiring such conceited, monotone, unsmiling people such as James Miller whom I dealt with shows their inability to understand that in this day of age being rude to customers will not go unheard of. I'm happy that I can share my experience here so that other owners of their beloved Toyotas should not have to be subjugated to such encounters when servicing their vehicles. James was confrontational, wanting to have the last word, and made me feel so small in front of other customers in his office only because I complained about waiting twenty minutes in order for someone just to talk to me. When I first went to go pickup my car after Fremont Toyota called me and told me that it's ready, I looked for the original advisor to help me out, but he was no where to be found. I was told to go and talk to James because he takes care of his co-worker's work when the other one isn't available, and so I simply asked him if he can get someone to get my car which had been there to get an oil change. He told me he'll page the original advisor and that he can't help me! I was confused because the manager told me that James would help me. Anyway, the original advisor never came in. I asked James to help me out because I've been there for twenty minutes now and the person he paged might have been gone for the day. This is when James unleashed on me as began treating me like I was a nobody since I was just there for an oil change. He ruined my weekend. Never again would I ever go back to this place.

During our visit to the show room, we never felt being under pressure to purchase a car. The sales people were very helpful. The price of the car was reasonable. The show room was clean. The color of cars in the show room were chosen in good taste.

I bought two Toyotas (one mini van and one Prius) from that dealership and have been there for services since then. The service manager was/is very professional, courteous and give you the straight talk what you need and what can be put off until future service. No pushy or the phony "fear factor" type of salesmanship. I like that kind of service. We all have to earn a living. That dealership does just that., earn the trust of its customers to make a "living," so to speak. Give it a try and if possible, ask for Steve Sako, the service advisor. A very nice and helpful guy.

The salesperson, was not friendly nor professional as well as very rude. He had me waiting, while he helped another customer when I was his first customer. He asked another sales person to assist me. I felt disrespected and I voiced my concern for poor service to front desk. I called management and have not received a call back in regards to the actions of salesperson.

I called on a Friday for an early morning Saturday service. I was greeted by Daniel who was clean, courteous and friendly. He was knowledgeable and respectful. When I explained to him that the problem was that my car was growling when I drove it and when it idled he explained that it was probably the bearings in the car's water pump ( my dad said the same thing). My car was whisked away and under went a thorough exam and I was driven home by Toyota's courtesy shuttle. Daniel called and kept me informed of my cars progress and the mechanic had also said the brakes needed to be replaced (that was documented on the previous service). Daniel also understood my concern with expense and need for safety. All said and done my car was returned before 4pm and had even had a courteous wash. I am confident that the service was thorough and fairly priced ( I have used another service for an oil change once before and that cost was slightly more than Fremont Toyota Service Center). My car is ready to go anywhere I want to go!Thank you Daniel and Fremont Toyota Service Center

following is why i rated Fremont Toyota a zero star business: i took my Toyota in to have my brakes serviced, i was charged $700 and my brakes are still malfunctioning. I then took it to an honest 5 star mechanic shop called Foothill Car Care where they said Toyota overcharged me by $400 and the problem is not solved. Thanks for nothing Fremont Toyota i will never be back and im posting this on Facebook so 1000 other people dont get professionally ripped off.

This was the first time I purchased a car from Fremont Toyota. The only reason I rate the Quality of Work at 4 is because the dealer did not wax the new car I purchased in order for it to be truely shiny being a new car. Once upon a time a different dealer waxed a new car I purchased that was so shiny as to be very exciting! I rate all others at 5 mainly because of Mr. Robert Taguinod at the Fremont Toyota. Robert quoted a good internet price that I found no need to negotiate and Robert pulled from a remote dealer a car with particular color and configuration I want. Thanks Robert! Ever experience a situation that a dealer will try to increase the price when you show strong interest in a car? There is no such situation with Robert. The buying experience with Robert is smooth, absolutely hassel-free, and friendly.

A vehicle purchase is always a nerve racking experience. Driving up I feel like a carcass, for lack of a better term, up against the vultures just waiting to scoop in on me. Ed Tuason happened to be out when we pulled up. I could immediately tell he wasn't one of those pompous and arrogant sales people. We did our homework before arriving at the dealership and actually viewed the vehicle during closed hours to avoid that high pressure feeling that we anticipated. To our complete surprise, there was none of that vibe at this dealership. Ed opened up the vehicle, pointed out its highlights, and took us out for a test drive. After pulling back in we sat down inside the showroom to work out the deal. Toyota has this philosophy of what I like to call "no B.S." pricing. Their best price was already marked and was backed up by sharing with us KBB's fair retail value, which we had also brought with us in an effort to be armed with our best buying power, and Carfax report. We still, of course, asked for more off and Ed dealt with it professionally. The Sales Manager ALWAYS has to get involved, a part of due process that I generally completely despise but, again to our surprise, another professional who treated us respectfully and without a pompous attitude. Although he disagreed with the amount for which we were asking, he agreed to take it to the used car manager for consideration....We got what we wanted. Deal was done in fewer than 30 minutes. Including test drive and finance, I think the whole deal took about an hour. It was once of the most pleasant (as pleasant as car buying can be) experiences we've had at a dealership. Two thumbs up for this dealership and two more thumbs up for Toyota Motor Credit - ended up having to return to the dealership to sign a new contract for a lower finance rate!

The sales and Service was great. It was a Certified Pre-Owned car. 2007 Camry. After about 2 weeks the engine starting ticking and the key fob started working intermittently. They finally called me to tell me that the books for my car and my 2nd key were available. When I picked it up the key fob didn't work. I asked them when they could check the car about the ticking noise. The Service Manager said they would call me on Monday for an appointment. They never called. I had to call on Tuesday to get the appointment just to arrive and find out that the appointment was made with the wrong service department and had to be rescheduled. We will see tomorrow how things go as that is when I have to go back in. We are 1 month in now and its still not taken care of. Everything was great until the service department issues. Feeling very frustrated and things like this is why I kept my old car so long... i hate dealing with this stuff.

It was not about the sale, it was about the customer service. I went in for a truck, but they respected the fact that I wanted to look at all my options- cars, SUVs, etc. It was very important to me to look at all my options, compare, and make the best financial decision; they allowed me the time without been "pushy". Ajay and Julie were very accommodating and work great as a team. Buyers Beware: If you are considering purchasing a car from Fremont Toyota, think again. The sales associate quoted me a price for the car, fully loaded with 2 separate $1000 rebates. One for being a new grad and one for paying cash. I was given this price in writing, the vehicle was ordered and was told it would be ready in a week. I was also given the option to finance the vehicle with 0% APR, but still get the $1000 new grad rebate. The car arrived in 3 days, great! Walk in, cash ready, only to be told the cash rebate does not apply and that if I would like to use the $1000 new grad rebate, I need to finance the vehicle, but not at the 0% APR I was garaunteed, but at a 2.99% interest rate. Turns out the sales person didn't understand the promotion and never spoke with the sales manager before finalizing the price. I spoke with the sales manager, Abdel Rghai, and described him my situation: that I walked in to the dealership, promised a price for a vehicle in writing, only to be told none of the promotions I was being offered applied. He tried to talk me into financing and basically punished me for wanting to pay cash. He then told me that there was nothing else he could do, and that if I didn't want the car, someone else would be willing to pay for it and to take my business elsewhere. As I was trying to get advice from my family member during this deal, the sales associate made me feel incompetent by telling me that I should decide for myself instead of having someone else pull strings for me (my family member). I was shocked that Mr. Rhgai would not uphold the promotions that I was offered in writing by the sales associate. This dealership is greedy and it is obvious the customer does not matter at Fremont Toyota. Shame on you.

I had a pleasant purchasing experience, but I had to have new tail lights installed as the ones on the vehicle I purchased had been stolen. I was told on Saturday that my new truck would be ready for pick up on Monday. I had to call the service department 4 times on Monday to try and get an update on the status of my vehicle. At one point the receptionist looked up my truck and told me that it was being worked on. It took me 4 hours to get a hold of the service manager, Israel, who was in charge of my truck. I had left him a message & tried to have him paged. I also tried to speak to another manager, but none were available for me. I ONLY WANTED AN UPDATE ON MY VEHICLE. Finally, when I told the receptionist I was on my way to pick up the truck, she was able to get Israel on the phone. He was surprised that my sales rep. didn't call me to update me....I don't think it was my sales persons responsibility to call me, since my truck was in the service department and had been assigned to a service manager. (besides that I happen to know my salesperson is off on Monday/Tuesdays). ALL I NEEDED WAS SOME FORM OF COMMUNICATION! I wasn't asking for anything more than what I should have gotten. My truck is supposed to ready today (Tuesday) and I've been told it will be delivered to me at work. (fingers crossed).I would recommend the dealership for purchasing a vehicle, but if this is how the service department operates, i'll be looking to take my maintenance some place else.

I bought a new vehicle from this dealership and got a aftermarket accessories added to the vehicle. After sometime I noticed an issue with the workmanship (a damage to the vehicle in the area where the accessory was installed) and promptly reported to the dealer. Even after 4-5 months of repeated follow-up I do not see anything moving. Approaching them is like they are doing me a favor even talking to me. Still the issue is not resolved and I have to explain the same problem multiple times to the dealer and still no clue what is going on whether they are doing something or not doing or sitting tight on it.

When my Prius was new I tried another Toyota dealer for service (because it was closer to my office). Bad experience, and Fremont Toyota has earned my customer loyalty by always doing regular maintenance right, being good about time estimates, pricing reasonably, and holding onto long-time employees who are courteous and know my car's service history even before they log on for the record. We have had only two major problems - the catalytic converter and the brake control chip failed - but at such high mileage that Toyota gets great credit for building reliable parts. For long-distance commuters, this means peace of mind. We are also still on the original brakes at 270,000mi. Other dealers might have tried to fake some problems just to up their bill. My perception of Fremont Toyota is that they have been honest, and that's a good thing.

They do a pretty good marketing gimmick to drive you out of your houses to their showroom by luring you with low quotes via email. The internet sales manager had emailed a OUT OF DOOR ( Inclusive taxes, registration etc.) price for Toyota Camry SE and when we went to the showroom they said the quote was wrong and given for a lower model etc... Wasted couple hours making us run around wait and then giving a new OUT OF DOOR price for a Toyota Camry SE that was over $2500 more than what the initial quote we had received for the same car via email. Also they had mentioned when we walked in "If you received a quote from us we have to honor it. It is a STATE LAW." And they surely just played off saying- It was a mistake. Be cautious and make sure you do a due diligence before driving all the way to the Fremont Toyota showroom.

Fremont Toyota service is positively horrible. I was charged $771.40 for a 90k service on my Scion (by the way, their website says it's $419.95 but apparently they don't include a number of other required service items on their website). This service was to include inspecting the breaks, flushing the coolant, and 8 more items. When I got it back there were still some noises so I brought it somewhere else to get inspected. I found that they did not do the work they said they did (no break inspection -- they said my breaks were at 5MM but it turns out they were nearly gone at 1MM! -- coolant was bad, tires were underinflated). They said they would do the work again. Of course it is hard to trust them so I asked for compensation instead. They refused. They said they would give me a free carwash/detail for my trouble. I don't want that -- I want the "peace of mind" that they advertise on their website and that I paid for.I have now been forced by Fremont Toyota file complaints. I have never done that and so am spending more time on this. I am completely frustrated with their service director, Alfred Shahgholian, who really just wanted to argue with me that they did the work and so won't give me any refund. He did acknowledge that they made the mistake on the breaks, and his service manager, Matt, said that flushing the coolant system "is art not science" and sometimes there is still contamination in there. That's bogus.I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.

I came in to test drive a Toyota Sienna. Sorry I could not remember the name of the salesperson, but he's ok in presenting the information. After my test drive, the salesperson started his sales pitch. I did not want to buy that day since I need to test drive a Honda Odyssey next, but this salesperson insisted on selling the car to me. First he offered a $500 below the MSRP ($32000), which I found laughable since no one would buy at the MSRP nowadays. He then got his manager over, and the bad part started. This sales manager, an Indian guy, offered right off the bat that he offered the car to me for $25000!!! How could he drop the price from $31500 to $25000 like that? I could take on his offer, but I must test the Honda first, so I left. When I walked toward my car, the salesperson asked me to come to his cube and showed me the dealer's invoice price, which is $30K, and said he could offer me only $500 below that invoice, or $29500. I got upset and asked him why the manager offered me $25000 knowing that the car could be sold for around $29000?? The salesperson told me that the manager wanted to "test my commitment". Huh??? I knew right away that if I had taken the manager's offer, he would have toyed with me until the price would come to around $29K, not the $25K. I hate this kind of sales tactic, and I won't buy from Fremont Toyota ever.

The Certified Pro-Owned check list for the Sienna showed that everything had been checked, including a test drive. After purchase and driving home the car started shaking at 70 mph...wheels were unbalanced. They also were VERY hard-riding...they were new V-rated "Vitron" tires sold by AutoZone for $75 each. I called the dealer for an appointment the next day to exchange the tires for the 3-month-old Yokohama YK-580 tires from my 04 Sienna trade-in. They made me pay $350 to change and balance the tires. When I rec'd the van from the repair shop, they informed me that they had also performed an item from a RECALL on the vehicle. Why weren't all those things done on the pre-delivery inspection?

The person with whom I spoke was courteous and efficient. I arrived on the day of the appointment about 30 minutes early. I was met immediately by Ray, the service advisor, my car was taken in and work began immediately. I chose to wait for the service as Ray said it would be about four hours. Ray even gqve me a coupon for a free diet coke! An hour into the service, Ray said it would take all day, so he arranged for a shuttle (no charge) to take me home. My wife brought me back toward the end of the working day. Ray delivered my Highlander not only fixed, but washed! As Ray had said, the service was completely covered by my warranty. I've driven it for two days with no hint of problem. My wife and I have used this dealership for 15 years with various of our Toyotas. When I went to pick it up, I was even more relieved when informed that I didn't have to pay a penny, because there was a recall on all Matrixes for that same problem. Turned out someone from the office took the key and refused to give it to her. OK, for the test drive, we found that Anita knows nothing about car. How to turn on a light, what's the button used for, where are the switches, she is rude, offensive and clueless. OK, I thought, we will make an offer to Christie and we will never had to deal with Anita. So I called back a few days later, which Christie and I pretty much agreed on a price and also we've agreed that I don't have to deal with Anita. When I showed up with my wife and my 2 year old after work, Christie was gone (She told me she would wait for me), and guess whom she asked to take over? ANITA! We asked for the key for a final check up, it took another 45 minutes to get the key, turned out someone was test driving it. They didn't even hold the car for us knowing that I will take it that night. I had an angry wife and hungry baby beside me, then the dealer plays the usual tricks on making us wait some more, when it's finally the time for us to get in, we took out our laptops already and were working in their kid's room. The car was ready to inspect after an hour, so we packed up our laptops and ready to see the car, it took about a minute with the kid and all, and Anita rolled her eyes like she had been waiting for us for ages. The car has a ripped leather that was promised me to be fixed by Christie, but when we saw the car, of course it wasn't fixed. Anita promised me it was going to be fix in 5 minutes, guess what, since the car shop was closed then, we had to pick it up the next day. The manager (EpDan?) played the good cop bad cop on us, but the already agreed on price, not happening... We had to argue some more (already 9:15) and he finally backed down to the previously agreed on price, then we thought it was over, he promised us in and out in 5 minutes so we waited... We left at 10:15pm that night, with all the paperwork, but no car (in the shop, promised to be delivered to us the next day)So next day, no car neither, why? Their mechanic are not good enough for a simple fix and they had to call in an expert. 3rd day, the car came in. I took it, think I am a happy man now? The CD changer was broken and I called and called, no one is returning my call. No Christie, no EpDan, no Anita. After they took my money it's aidios my friend. After all that said and done, I will never go through this dealer again in my life. I advice you to do the same or you will be writng it up here as well.

Found the car I wanted through a buying service. Confirmed availability and price by phone in minutes. Looked at car, signed papers, got demo, and drove away with new car in less than 60 minutes. No hassle, no quibbling, no pressure. First car buying experience I've ever had that was actually pleasant.

Mr. Steve Sako, Assistant Service Manager Fremont Toyota, was great to work with. Very prompt, efficient, professional and helpful. Fremont Toyota took care of the car battery problem for my vehicle the same day I took it in and at no charge (I believe it was still covered under new car warranty). Thank you Steve and thank you Fremont Toyota.

I normaly do not bring my car to the dealership for service, it was an emergency for clutch master cylinder and clutch slave cylinder replacement for my 1998 Corolla. Louis explained what needs to be done and I was well informed. Good shuttle service to drop off and pick up when the car is ready. The mechanic did a good repair job on my Corolla.

came to Fremont Toyota - my wife never drove a Prius before, so we wanted to see how it handles the road. Here's the short version of a dialog we had up front:Sales person named Muhammed - which Prius you want to buy?Me - Prius 5Mohammed - we only have Prius 3.Me - Can we drive it? We could order 5 from the factory.Mohammed - No, you cannot.Me - why?Mohammed - Because this one is not Prius 5.Me - can we try Prius 3? Mohammed - No.Me - Why?Mohammed - you are not buying, go home. We have other customers.Me - ?????!? Ok... Maybe you can you tell us why sunroof is not offered on Prius 5, but offered with others? What is the difference between Prius 3 and 5?Mohammed - no, I do not know. We do not do it this way - call Toyota and ask. From there I asked for the manager, who was not very happy to help us either, stating if we are not buying (we have to buy to test drive? that's new!), we should respect sales person being a human and unwilling to spend his time with us.

After week's struggle and opening a case I got appointment scheduled for today to install my DVD which was promised at the sale which was valued at $1000 (close to factory installed) but when they actually installed it today it was a DVD player which costing around $150 when searched in internet and apart from that after the installation they never cleaned the vechile the mess made while instalation. They had all foot print marks on leather seats and stained carpet also they promised to do a complimentary car wash which was never performed. They didn't even bother to clean it even after asking.WORST Experience and worst service and BIG cheaters promised for a DVD which is eqvalent to the factory installed but ended with cheap stuff. There is no sense of customer service at this dealer. I wont recommend to anyone. Here is my case to justify the opinion. I bought a certified 03 Camry from Fremont Toyota in 2007 with an extended warranty and reimbursement guarantee. I paid $2k extra on top of car price for this. It is suppose to cover for 7 years or 100k miles whichever comes first. Early this year car developed some problem with engine and transmission which I thought would be covered by this warranty as the car has little less than 80k and within 4 years since I bought it. But service department told him that my warranty is not good anymore as it expired as of 2010, 7 years from 1st date of purchase. I thought that I didnt read agreement correctly but when I verified my reimbursement form, the expiration date mentioned is in 2014 (7 years from the date I bought). Initially I was told by their finance person that it is mistake in reimbursement form by their finance or sales team and I should be able to get my reimbursement money back. 4 weeks later they are telling me that reimbursement is handled through separate agency and I need to wait till that date to get reimbursement. Not sure who made the mistake, nobody wants to take ownership of this problem and anytime I inquire about it, their response is that we requested your documents from cold storage and still we havent got it. Experience with service department is another story. Within a week after I purchased this car, observed a howling noise from front passenger side. I was told then by their service department nothing to worry, it just a tire noise and sometimes it happens if tire and tube combination doesn't match. Moreover, it is a certificated car there is no reason to worry. 6 months later they advise me to change transmission fluid flush and I did spend $500 doing it. Thinking it is regular maintenance stuff. Within a year they again recommended for one more transmission fluid flush which I didn't do due to lack of any proper explanation why it is needed within a year. In the meantime, noise was still persisted and become more prominent. Right after my warranty expired, service department diagnosed this noise issue is a problem with wheel bearing and recommended not to drive like this as it is damaging the transmission system. Fix requires $1200 plus $500 transmission fluid flush. To top it up, now engine warning lights are on due to catalytic converter busted, which is another $2500. Their service department assistant manger is the only person in this dealing who was customer friendly and covered the catalytic converter under 8 year/80k miles warranty. Not to mention, my friend who got Avalon around same time as me has already junked his car due to transmission problem. It is a very sad experience as I have to lose my car that I spent almost 20k.I will not buy another Toyota nor go to this dealer!!! Very unsatisfied customer!!!

Everybody is wonderful until after you buy the car. I have gone back four times for the same problem. They also changed my warranty after I bought the vehicle. I got less for the same amount. Twice I made a appointment and they had no one there to fix it. Then I started having problems with the brakes after a month and they said it was cheap pads and they won't fix it. The original problem still isn't fixed,a broken radio holder they keep saying they ordered the part and I show up and it's not there. Also some on the panel lights were out. they fixed them but they put it back together wrong. When you put the heater on hot it shows cold. It's very frustrating. Everybody talks about Toyota.I can at least tell them where not to go.Today I was told one of there persons are sick. They said to leave it and they would look at it. But they wouldn't have time to fix it. Would you leave it! I couldn't believe the manager said this to me.

I had trade in vehicle and they gave me more money for it that trade in value from K.B.B.No complains from me.

The issue here is the Fremont Toyota service department claims my car is in good condition. When I have proof there is a real problem and they agreed, the issue has gotten worst. Brake failure is a serious problem. Fremont Toyota is not accepting responsibly for their incompetent mechanics wants to charge me $864. This is in addition to $460 of work already done with Fremont Toyota on July 6th, 2010. From my perspective, my car was running fine when I brought it in on July 6th. I thought I should get a tune-up and perhaps replace the timing belt since it's at 96K miles. After my tune-up, the bill was $460.15. Fremont Toyota recommended a multi-point inspection, replace air filter element, replace cabin air filter, and replace rear brake pad/shoes and resurface rotors/drums. The service person told me everything else looks good. Shortly after the service, I noticed the car doesn't drive the same. I can't quite place the problem. The engine seemed louder and rougher. My car engine was not quite like before. I thought I imagined it. As time passed, the engine sounded more and more labored. When I stepped on the gas, the car had a pull like dragging something. The engine revved at 2500 RPM almost touching 3000 RPM mark. This is a visible sign and proof something is wrong. At the same time, I noticed there oil leaks on my driveway. I parked my car on the road after the repair and didn't notice the oil leak until I park on the driveway recently. I brought the car to Fremont Toyota at 7am and showed them the oil stained paper to proof there is an oil leak. I also described the revving engine and rough sounds. At 11am I received a call from the Assistant Service Manager, Mingo Galleto, that indeed the oil gasket was broken by the technician when he changed the oil. They replaced the gasket free of charge, but there is nothing else wrong with the car. He said he even test drove it and didn't hear or feel problems with the car. He assured me that he just drove a similar year and model, Camry 2004, and it sounded the same. I went to the shop and Mingo rode with me for a test drive at around 1:30pm. We got on 880 and when I hit around 50 mph the engine sound louder. As I hit 60mph my steering wheel shakes slightly. At this point Mingo assured me that my tires are not balanced. At 70 mph, my car started to drag when I accelerated. The car was revving close to 3000 rpm as I described to him in the morning. He confirmed this is abnormal and it's a problem. We got off the next exit and headed back to Fremont Toyota on Auto Mall. When we got to Costco, just a block or so from Toyota, we smell something coming from the car. When we pulled over, we saw smoke coming from the driver-side front wheel. Mingo told me the brakes are overheating. He drove the car back to the shop after the brakes cooled to evaluate the problem. I got a call from Mingo at 2:03pm. He said the brakes caliper broke. The caliper, brake pads and the rotors has to be replaced totaling $1140 dollars. Because I was inconvenienced, so they will give me a discount for $864.00. He said he can use aftermarket parts, non-Toyota parts, and it will be $697. To me it is unacceptable to ask me to pay for the whole braking system. Toyota should take responsibility because of faulty diagnosis (twice!) and the technician not doing a proper job to service the car. I spoke with Bill Martin, Fremont Toyota Service Manager, at 5:51pm. He argued the following points: 1) The service on July 6th did nothing to the front brakes. They inspected the front brakes as part of the service and there was nothing wrong. My contention is the problem only appeared after I had done the service. Though he claimed the technician did nothing to the front brakes, the broken gasket is an indication of the lack of quality and detail to their work. As a consumer with no mechanical knowledge, I have no idea what parts were removed for inspection and not properly replaced. 2) Caliper can fail anytime. Bill Martin pointed out even if Toyota replaced the front brakes pad, broken calipers are not their responsibility. My front brakes pad were replaced by another shop a long time ago. I never had problems with them. Bill Martin and Mingo both said caliper breakage is irrelevant to the brake pad change yet they insist I should talk to the other shop. The caliper were not replaced, it is an original factory part. 3) Toyota did not properly inspected the car when it was dropped of this morning even after I told them of the problem. Bill Martin insisted I didn't specify it is a brake problem, therefore, they did not inspect the brake this morning and not liable for the brake problems. From my description, Mingo noted in the written order, revving issue at 60-70 rpm and rough engine sounds. They must of inspected the car for something. I had no way of knowing the brakes were failing and specifically the caliper broke. There is no way for me to insist they inspect the front brakes. Mingo told me he test drove it and there is nothing wrong with the car. They did not do due diligence to inspect the car until I proofed there was a problem. My family and I could be seriously injured if the brakes locked up while driving on the freeway. This could have been a dangerous situation and not just a financial concern.

THROUGHOUT MY VISIT TO FREMONT TOYOTA SERVICES,ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES DIDN'T GIVE MY THE EXACT INFORMATION ABOUT MY EXTENDED WARRANTY WAS ABOUT TO EXPIRE, THAT WAS THE FIRST LIE. I LATER LEARNED THAT THIS WAS NOT TRUE AND REALLY EXPIRES IN THE YEAR OF 2011. THROUGH OUT MY SERVICE, I NOTICED THAT THERE WAS A DENT THAT WAS PAINTED OVER PAINT IN MY VEHICLE. AND OF COURSE THEY TRIED TO DENY BUT I KNEW IT WAS THEM. THAT WAS THE SECOND LIE. I TOOK MY VEHICLE BACK TO COMPLAIN THAT MY BACK DOOR WAS COMING UP WAY TOO FAST AND ONE OF MY CHILDREN MIGHT GET HURT.THE SERVICE GUY SAID THEY DIDN'T DO NOTHING TO THE BACK DOOR BUT THEY DID. THAT'S THE THIRD LIE. I SPOKE WITH HIS MANAGER AND EVERYTHING CAME OUT THAT THEY DID REPLACE THE SHOCKS IN THE BACK OF THE DOOR WITH THE INCORRECT ONES. AND ADMITTED THAT THEY WERE THE ONES TO CAUSE THE DAMAGE IN MY VEHICLE. I TOLD THE MANAGER THAT I DIDN'T WANT TO DEAL WITH THE SERVICE GUY THAT WAS ATTENDING ME AT FIRST AND THE MANAGER OFFERED THAT HE COULD ASSIST ME THOUGH OUT MY SERVICES OF MY VEHICLE. THEY WERE GOING TO CHECK A LEAK IN THE TRANSMISSION AND THEY WOULD CONTACT ME WHEN THEIR JOB IS COMPLETED. IT TOOK THEM ABOUT TWO WEEKS. I ONLY GOT THREE CALLS WITHIN THE TIME SPAND. THEY WERE NICE TO PROVIDE US WITH A VEHICLE ONLY TO DEMAND BACK THEIR VEHICLE BEFORE WE PICKED UP OUR VEHICLE. EVEN, THEY WENT TO MY OFFICE TO PICK UP THE RENTAL CAR. I WAS STRANDED THERE WITH NO ONE TO TAKE ME TO FREMONT TOYOTA WHICH PERSONALLY I THINK IS REALLY UNPROFESSIONAL OF TOYOTA.

Lies, lies and more lies. Nothing written or said was true. The trip there was a total waste of time. I don't know how this place is still in business!!You see, I applied online for a loan. When I spoke with Anita (the finance specialist), she assured me everything was in order and even gave me an approval number. Included in the bait was:30 days if needed for any down payment and the lender would start payments in mid March on the car of my choice. Wow!!!! All was B.S.!!! The used car I wanted was perfect for my budget. I test drove it and knew this was the car for me.Sadly though, Anita could not get me financing on the car I wanted. It had too many miles on it....wouldn't I care to look at the other cars she had already mentioned? Ironically folks, these cars and their mileage were comparable to the car I wanted. It's just that the one I had picked out was about 4-5 thousand dollars less!!!I thanked Miss Anita for her time and left Fremont Toyota with my approval number in my hand and placed it in their garbage can...which is much nicer than what I thought of doing with it!!!!!Don't shop there.....unless you're looking for a guaranteed disappointment.

The sales person press me very hard about buing the car right now and he offered very hight price. All was OK untill my question: "Can you give me the invoce"? He said: "I can not give you the invoice", then turned around and tried to go away. I asked him about his manager. He brought me to his manager. Manager said that he can get me the invoice but the price is final and I am wasting my time.If you wanted to be high pressed and did not know the real price of the car, you can go to this dillership.I strongly recomend to find another place.

On Dec 2008, I went to Fremont Toyota dealer to purchase a certified used car and this turned out to be a nightmare, I've been to Mercedes dealers many times and never experienced such problems. This report is for consumers to be AWAY from Fremont Toyota (located at 5851 Cushing Parkway, Fremont, CA 94538) as you could loose your life if you purchased the car there. A . Fraudulent representation on 160 point assurance certified used car: Vehicle does NOT pass 160-Point Quality Assurance Inspection I purchased a certified used Toyota car on 12/22/2008(with mileage about 32500) The certified car should pass 160-Point Quality Assurance Inspection Between on 12/22/2009 and 1/1/2009 ( 1 and 6 days after the purchase), I find the following problems on the car, these problems indicate that the car HAS NOT gone through the complete 160-Point Quality Assurance Inspection at all and could cause life threatening problems while driving. 1. Front and rear tire valve are both leaking and missing valve sensor. The rear right tire valve was leaking on 12/23/2008 and the ABC brake sensor was on so I drove the car to the service department on 12/24/2008. They claim they fixed the problem and also checked all the other tires and make sure they are working. 2. On 1/1/2009, the front right tire was leaking again and the ABC brake sensor was NOT on (I have the mechanic report to prove that). This caused disaster on 1/1/2009 trip. The complete front tile flatted because of valve leaking and no indicator of the leaking. I was on high way 5 to Las Vegas (at 80 miles/hour), and a person found our flat tire when we were at break at Lost Hill.(fortunately we exit highway 5 for a break) At the time, the front right tire was completely flat and we did not know how and where we can repair the tire. We called the Toyota towing service and the car was towed to the nearby tire repair shop. The complete repair report was enclosed with this letter. This disaster cause panic and tremendous delay on my trip. If the tire was not found out to be flat in time, we could lose all of our life! Please be aware the potential damage it could cause due to dealer's fraudulent sale! Thereafter on the trip, we have to stop for every 100 miles to check whether there is any other leaks or safety problems. 3. ABC brake system tire pressure indicator does not work. This is why there is no tire leaking indicator on 1/1/2009. 4. CD system not working at all. Radio has sizzling noise when driving speed is more than 20 miles/hour , basically you can not hear radio when driving. 5. Driver pillar is breaking. Indicating frame has been damaged. 6. Driver bottom seat plastic is breaking. Indicating frame has been damaged. --- this indicates that the vehicle could have some hidden history such as prior accident. The broken interior is not normal to a 30K mile car. I have never seen such things in my 10+ years driving history. 7. When the van is on, you can hear wired van noise. 8. Second key remote control does not work. Can not lock/ unlock the car. 9. Windows shelf internal crack, not caused by external break, but caused by frame pressure. 10. Please note that you failed to disclose to me that you get commission from the Phantom Foot sale of $249. This failure to declaration is against the law and subject to $1000 additional penalty. 11. On Jan 1st, I paid $125 towing fee due the complete flat tire, Cross Country Motor plus only reimburse me $100 , saying there is $100 cap on road side server, this $100 cap is NOT mentioned in the contract. The contract says 100% re reimbursement of the road side service. Here the dealership break the contract again. B. Fraudulent representation on warranty plan:I was told by sales manager Jose Aguilar and Rebecca Chung that 7-year/100,000-mile Limited Power train Warranty starts from the date of my purchase where in fact it starts from original date of first use when purchased as new- that is 3/11/2005 C. Management expulsion of the sales and finance team:On Jan 3rd 2009 , when I was back from the trip and called the sales and finance manager who sold me the car, both of them were said already fired by the dealer. This expulsion of the fraudulent sales and finance team indicated the dealership could have many more fraudulent cases like this, and their expulsion of the employee is one way to get way witness in the court trial.

On Saturday, June 27th, I purchased a 2010 Toyota Corolla. They had approved a $1,000 discount for being a new college graduate. I signed the contract and went on my way. About three days after my purchase, I received a call from Bill La saying that they had made a mistake with the APR they had approved for me. They originally gave me a 3.9% APR, but he said that it was supposed to be 2.9% because the 3.9% was for Camrys and not Toyotas. I agreed to go to the dealership that evening to re-sign the contract. About 3 weeks later, I got a call from Bill La, Finance Manager, saying that they made a mistake by granting me the $1,000 discount but later learning that I had past the cut-off date for eligibility for the college grad discount. Sales Manager, Michale Shannon, had given us the $1,000 discount. We were also working with Leo Alansalon. Rightfully, I disagreed to re-sign the contract because they had already granted me the discount and should not have approved it in the first place. I asked him to take the matter with his boss and any other appropriate party to resolve the issue. He said he would call me back. Two weeks had passed without a phone call, and he called back insisting that I return the car and that it was too late to re-sign the contract. I had stated that I was waiting for them to call back to tell me if they can work anything out because of their mistake, and he stated that it was too late and that he felt uncomfortable going through with this deal and any other deal even though they were the ones who mistakenly gave me the discount.

I made call to make sure the news paper ad special sales for camry is still available. They told me it is still available. I drove 30 miles to there and a sales lady worked with me spending more than 30 minutes to locate the car with matching VIN number that listed in the news paper for sales. I completed all the paper work to acquire that car, then the sales lady told me that they will not sell this car to me at the news paperad price. First they told me that car was sold. Then they told me if I pay a little bitmore than $3000 more, then I can have that car. I simply just walked away. This Fremont Auto Mall Toyota dealer does not have integrity to be business.

i am a shop owner. recently my customer with a 2002 rav4 had a transmission problem. i perform a test drive, and whenever i shifted from P-R, the transission would slam into gear and i would get harsh shifting. i perform my checkout and came to the conclusion she needed an automatic transmission right after i drained the transmission pan and found metal shavings. did my research and found that the best way was to go with a toyota rebuilt with the 12 months unlimited mile warrany. installed the transmssion, started the vehicle and i would notice just shifting from P-R that the rebuilt transmission i installed slammed into gear more harsh than my old one. at this point, i havent put any miles on the vehicle just sitting in my shop and going from P-R. called FREMONT TOYOTA and told them the problem. i asked them if they could send me another transmission because i got a bad rebuilt unit, and was told any warranty work, they have to checkout first. got the car to them, few days passed. steve (service advisor) called me and told me that because i replaced the automatic transmission without changing the ecu also, that the ecu caused the transmission to go bad. i told him he was full of s..t. i said how can a ecu cause a transmission to go bad just from shifting it from P-R with no miles on it. i never even let the vehicle leave the shop, nor has the customer driven it yet. i told him that we dont live in a perfect world and it is possible for me to have gotten a bad unit. he stuck with his findings from his mechanic and told me that the warranty was void because the ecu was not replaced and my customer had to buy another transmission. wat i didnt tell him was that why didnt toyota parts notify me of the ecu's burning out these transmission if they are such a problem. ive been working on cars for over 15 yrs and not once have i have seen this problem or heard such a thing from this service advisor. he agreed the transmission was bad, but stuck with the ecu being the culprit. we spoke over the phone and still nothing is resolved. my next step is to call TOYOTA CORP. and the BBB if need be. when i delivered the car, just watching this service advisor at work made me wonder about this person. it seemed like he had no clue of what is going on around him. no wonder this FREMONT TOYOTA DEALERSHIP has such BAD CUSTOMER RATING. O, AND YES, THE MAJORITY OF MY CUSTOMERS DO TELL ME OF THE SAME EXPERIENCES AS I HAVE DEALT WITH AND THAT IS WHY THEY BRING THEIR TOYOTA'S TO MY SHOP....VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!THIS ALSO GOES FOR THERE SALES DEPT. TO AS TOLD BY MY CUSTOMERS!!!!AVOID FREMONT TOYOTA AT ALL COST!!!!

I made a mistake of buying prepaid maintenance. There is a difference in what they claim as the standard service and what the prepaid maintenance provides, so it is not worth it. Additionally, what is supposed to be done with prepaid service was also not done. I was told that I need to pay for services which is supposed to be covered. I was also told to perform "recommended" services which were unnecessary. When I got the car back, I was told that there was something else that was wrong with the car and I had to buy additional services. I had checked it a couple of weeks back and also from the nature of the damage it was clear that this would not happen during normal use of the car.

I'm so glad that I didn't throw this guy's card away. This fleet mgr lied to me. I called to test ride a corolla S and he said he had one available. So I drive 30 minutes to get there and when I arrive, he says it was just sold. How convenient! He says next one is coming is in a few days which have the same features he was telling me over the phone. (It was probably the same car) Next, we try to negotiate a price. So he gives me his invoice price on paper which is always bumped up and gives this spiel about how dealerships cannot sell under invoice. Then, I said I went to another dealership and got a price under invoice (which I did) and then he knocks $300. Didn't he just explain to me that you can't go under invoice??? Bait and switch, unprofessional, lies...strongly not recommended. A fleet mgr too!!!

I was shopping around for a new Camry. When I ask for the exact price and monthly payment, they pressure me to sign and provide all kind of personal information in order for them to do the paperwork. After getting all the information, the manager walking around and come back 5' later with a piece of paper and start writing down how much does it cost and the monthly payment. Then he right away asked me to put down the down payment. When I said I'm shopping around for a good deal, he again pressure me by asking if I would buy right away if he give me the invoice price. When I said I would come back if the deal he gave me is good, he give me disrespected facial expression, laugh and walked away.<br>DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.
