My husband and I purchased a vehicle from Galles a few weeks ago, and it was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had! They sales staff wasn’t pushy at all and were so kind to us the whole time. They didn’t haggle us and were very transparent. They even were able to work with the credit union to get us lower monthly payments! Conner was very helpful and helped us find pretty much our dream car! They had plenty of inventory of both new and used vehicles, and lots of options to chose from. This was so refreshing after some not so good experiences at Reliable Chevrolet. Highly recommend, especially if you are in the market for a nice used vehicle!!

Very courteous, professional service folks. Without an appointment as I am from out of state they took my truck right in and took care of my issues. Would have washed it also, but alas, being a dually it was too big. New diesel fuel filter and checked air in tires, etc. on my Silverado 3500 HD.

On trip, needed oil change. Immediately tried to add on stuff; this is a new vehicle. Wanted $90.34 to change oil; we had the $39.95 GM coupon-he said that didn't apply cause ours needed 9 quarts but he took off $20 for tire rotation that was supposed to be free anyway. Called our home dealership who said service should be $55 max for oil change, system check, top off & rotation. When finished knowing I had to leave, they didn't come tell me it was ready; I saw it myself. I specifically told them I did not want the battery kit that was not needed; charged $10. When questioned at pay out, there was an excuse for everything & price did not change. Only positive-they fixed recall we were aware of but hadn't received notice it was available.

Overall I was delighted with my new car buying experience at Galles Chevrolet. My salesman Justin Williamson was very attentive to my needs, a good listener, and then able to smoothly coordinate things with several other Galles folks as needed to make everything flow smoothly and help me make the best informed decision. After having bought several new cars at dealerships in other states during my lifetime, I am glad that I went to Galles here in Albuquerque for this purchase. Service agent had me wait for over 3 hours for warranty battery exchange, after I asked what was taking so long, I was told I had to wait much longer for a battery to be DELIVERED, not once was I told any of this had I not asked. I was offered a loaner but had to wait for it because they had people ahead of me... Seriously!

I couldn't be more pleased with my experience at Galles. Tony listened to what I wanted and had the truck waiting for us when we came in to make a deal. Shawn showed us the truck, took us out for a test drive and then let my wife and make a decision, without the ridiculous high pressure tactics we had experience at other dealerships. We went in looking to find an SUV to replace my wife's Acadia that was getting up in miles. The sales guy was nice and all, but it turned into one of those "you have to make a decision tonight" type of situations. We felt a little pressured but the car seemed ok from the two or three blocks we were able to test drive it (it was a few minutes before closing and we didn't want to keep them late) so we decided to go for it. Besides, the car was "Certified" so it should be in pretty good shape.The problems started immediately:There is a very noticeable vibration at 40 mph and 70 mph. I am an ASE master mechanic so I know what is and isn't normal. Unfortunately I can't work on my personal vehicle at the shop since I work for a government fleet. We took it back and the service guys felt the issue as well and rotated the tires. The vibration remained. We took it in again and the service guys still felt the vibration and said that they would get the used car manager to put some new tires on it. The used car manager called me a few minutes later and said that they couldn't find a problem. I replied that I had just gotten off the phone with service and they said it needed new tires. He stumbled and choked and angrily said "I'll call you back". He never did- the service guys put new tires on and I picked up the vehicle.The vibration remained.I took it back again and they begrudgingly took it back in for another look. They kept it all day and found that one of the new tires was bad. They ordered one, and returned the car. I took it back in again a few days later when it arrived. They installed the new tire but they noticed that the vibration remained. They decided that the problem was two more defective new tires. So they ordered them in and gave me the car back. I took it in again when the tires came in and they installed them and returned the vehicle to us.The vibration remains.On a side note which I can't prove because I didn't take photos of the car before taking it into the service department- new scratches keep showing up every time I get it back from service. They denied that they had created any scratches, and like I said- I can't prove it.To top it all off it too the finance department weeks to get the financing completed. I don't know what the hold up was because no one ever called us- we had to call them every time to see if everything was ok. Because of the delay the pay-off on our trade in was delayed to the point where we had another payment come due. So we called finance a few days before the payment was due and asked what we should do, they said to wait about a week and then make a payment on the old vehicle if we saw that it had not yet been paid off on our statement which they said the bank would then just refund back to us after the pay off. So we did just that. Then the bank charged us a late payment fee and an additional interest charge since it was another couple of days later that the pay off finally went in. So now what do we do? The car still vibrates at 40 and 70. There has to be a bent rim, axle or drive-shaft and they just aren't looking for it.Never again will we go to Galles."Certified" --- what a joke.

I had an appointment with Felicia and when I arrived I was met by Shawn he then brought me inside and sat me down offered me something to drink while he went and got Felicia for me. When Felicia arrived she explained to me she was busy with a client but she was going to have Shawn take me around to look for a trade in on my vehicle. Shawn is a great salesman and after a while Felicia popped in and congradulated me on my purchase and asked me if I needed anything to drink and told her that I would like to have a coke if that's possible she told me let me see what I could do. A few minutes later she walked in and handed me my coke and that's when I realized that she had paid for it out of her own money because the only drinks they had that were complementary were coffee or water now that's what I call great service. I would definitely recommend this dealership to any of my friends and most importantly I would recommend them to go talk to Felicia or Shawn those two are the greatest salespersons I've ever worked with and both made it memorable for me .

Had a very good experience meeting Christina Lanham. She is friendly, honest and supportive. Christina went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. She right away introduced me to Chris Segura, salesperson. Chris was also very friendly and informative and found the truck I was looking for. Also, I do want to mention the great service at the Parts Dept. Spoke to Jeff. Jeff was very helpful in finding what I needed. Hope that this helps for people who are looking for good people to confide in. Galle's should recognize these fine people for the work they do for their agency.

My wife and I had a very nice experience at Galle's Chevy in Albuquerque. Christine Lanham is the most friendliest person we have ever met at a dealership. She was patient and supportive. I went in about 1 week ago with an idea of what I wanted to purchase. I was nervous because I have never purchased a Chevy and this was my first time. Let me tell you that the experience was AMAZING! I first started online and worked with Christina with a simple appointment made of there website. She was able to set me up with my sales representative, Victor Peralta, and man what a great visit. Both of them very friendly and open to listening on why I wanted to trade and what I wanted to get and why. I was super happy with test driving the two trucks I liked and of those two, drove off with my new 2016 Silverado! This has been the best experience in buying a car I've ever had. From the moment I walked in and met Christina she took very good care of me then introduced me to Shaun my salesman and he took very good care of me and was very professional and was very pleasant to work with. Then Codi did the final signing all the paper work telling about all the options I could purchase. I only purchased GAP. She is excellent at her job. From start to finish 2 1/2 hours. Afterwards Shaun showed me all about my new Camaro!!

I was looking for a small car and looked on a few websites here in town. I was looking for a new economical car that was good on gas. I ended up getting calls from Chevrolet dealerships around town asking me about my car shopping. They all have nothing nice to say about each other by the way. I got a few calls from Galles. They were persistent and borderline harassing. They called me, texted and emailed me everyday. They were nice at first, I spoke with a lady, her name was Leesha. I asked her a few questions on the Cruze. Then she asked when I can come in to see the car, then told me about a sales event and how they are different than any other dealership. I don't remember telling her I was going to come in, but I did have intentions to stop by in the following days. I get another call from a saleswomen named Jessica. SHE WAS RUDE!!! Demanded to know where I was, how far I am and when I should be there. The experience reminded me of a telemarketer or bill collector constantly call me. After I told her I was going to be come in for the weekend, she became bearable. I asked her about some sales specials for the cruze. She gave me the wrong rebates and flat out lied just to get me in the store!!! HOW LOW CAN YOU GET TO LIE JUST SO PEOPLE CAN WALK AROUND YOUR LOT??? The sales men seemed lost in there own world walking around talking with each other. I never got to meet any of the two ladies I spoke with, it turns out, they aren't salesmen and just call center reps! Their sole-purpose was to get me in the door. SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND ENERGY!!! I ended up buying a Cruze, but from Reliable.

I am writing this review to assist other customers and hopefully preventing them from such a tedious and frustrating experience. First of all, this is my second experience with GALLES. Approximately 2 years ago I contacted GALLES Chevrolet online and scheduled an appointment to test drive a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 LTZ Crew cab pickup. Later after a 45 minute wait, I was met by a young man, cannot remember his name, and was allowed to take the vehicle for a test drive. I liked the vehicle and was interested in purchasing it and informed the young man. The young man condescendingly said "you know the vehicle is $50,000?" And I informed him that I was aware of that and was financially equipped to proceed with the purchase. I filled out paperwork and he asked that I send him the VIN and pics of my trade in to help assist with moving forward with the purchase. I sent him the VIN and pics of the vehicle as soon as I returned to my home. After several attempts to get feedback or a returned call from the young man, I decided to move on to a dealership who wanted my business. Within the next few weeks, I showed up to Reliable Chevrolet and purchased a beautiful new 2014 Chevy Silverado 4x4 ltz crew cab pickup within 4 hours of arriving without an appointment. The staff was friendly and the financial manager was very accommodating.I later received a call from Mrs. Galles who called as a courtesy to check on my service. I informed her of my unfortunate experience with her business and she was very apologetic and asked that I consider her dealership in the future. On September 9th, I decided to give Galles Chevrolet another chance, as I needed to get the parking sensor looked at for service and was interested in purchasing a new vehicle for my wife. I scheduled an appointment online as I live 180 miles from Albuquerque and received a call back advising that they could not accommodate the time I had requested and was told that I could take my vehicle in earlier. I had plans to attend a business meeting and asked if I could receive a shuttle ride or a loaner car so that I could drop my vehicle off then attend my meeting. I was told promptly that they do not offer courtesy rides nor do the have loaner vehicles. If I wanted to take my vehicle I had to make other arrangements or reschedule. That should have been my first clue that customer service continues to be subpar at Galles Chevrolet. Upon my arrival I was greeted by Leonard Garcia who sat in my vehicle and rudely said "you know your warranty expired after 36000 miles." I advised him that I had purchased an extended bumper to bumper warranty. He then said with a smirk, " it costs "$108 to run the diagnostics and if the warranty doesn't cover it you have to pay it." Again I smiled and said yes, I understand that I am responsible for payment if my warranty doesn't cover the cost. I then noticed a gooseneck hitch I was considering purchasing and asked for a price. I was dismissed and asked a second person. He said "I think it's about $700 or $900 then walked away.I left my vehicle and received a call that the part needed, had to be ordered from Denver and would be in the next day. I reminded him that I was from out of town and said that I needed to pick up my vehicle until they could get the part tomorrow. He said that the sensor module was under the seat and the seat was removed and they had to keep it until the next day. Again no accommodations for shuttle or rental car. He said the vehicle would be ready by the next day at 2pm.I returned to pick up my vehicle the next day at 330pm and the vehicle was not ready. Leonard was not in so I was directed to Christopher Ortega. He informed me that the new part did not correct the problem and it was in fact a sensor that was malfunctioning. They could not replace it without the warranty representatives authorization and once it is approved, it would take time to complete. He could not give me an estimated time of completion. I am beyond frustrated by this point and received no consolation for my troubles. I finally picked up my vehicle at 530pm and received no acknowledgement of my inconvenience and frustration other than a bill for $100. I do not usually complain or waste time completing a review, but I thought it was important for others considering using Galles for business" I feel concern for others who cannot express their discontent for the poor service and unprofessional staff like our children, grandparents and grandchildren. It is important that they don't get exploited. I hope the owners take a long hard look at customer service and understand how much business they have probably lost to dealerships who truly care! All the commercials and bulletin boards are futile when the service is so bad!

I had been shopping around for some time looking for a Camaro. When I arrived at Galles I spoke with David Bridwell, who was the only salesman in the city of Albuquerque who actually listened to what I was looking for. Instead of trying to convince me to buy something else, he explained he didn't have it but he would contact me if he got one in. Eventually I ended up buying here; and a big part of that decision was because of Mr. Bridwell. I preferred to keep my business with the only salesman who treated me as a real human being instead of a sale. Could not recommend dealing with him highly enough.

the most horrible experience we have ever had at any auto dealership! darren russell, the sales manager was extremely rude, confrontational, insulting, and just a total jerk! HE MADE THE POOR NEW SALESBOY SO NERVOUS THAT THE YOUNG MAN WAS SWEATING AND HE TOLD US HE WAS AFRAID OF DARREN, THAT HE MADE HIM EXTREMELY ANXIOUS! WE NOW KNOW WHY! I went in to "just" look, with three choices in mind after spending a lot of research time on line. Anthony Cano helped me target what I really wanted and 3 hours later I drove off the lot in a 2015 GMC Sierra Crew Cab. My husband was working out of town. He called Saturday a.m. and asked if I could buy him a truck before he got home that eve. He needed a 4X4 now, with his new position, before he left to go back to work Sunday eve. So, I called Stephen Gallegos, I told Stephen what we had as a trade in, and what kind of a truck we needed. Stephen called me back and within an hour, I was on my back, looking underneath the engine/axle/shocks/etc Looking for any leaks, or previous damage, and checking out underneath the hood; of possibly a new pick up for my husband. Stephen, did say I was the 1st woman, he had ever seen to crawl underneath a rig before. I asked for an accident report, because I noticed different brackets. To make a long story short...Galles Chevrolet and Stephen sold my husband an awesome pick up. He is the happiest man at his job! He bragged to the guys how his wife helped him get his pick up. We bought our new 2014 Malibu on 28 June 2014 and our salesman, Charles Unale, gave us information we asked for. He knew this Malibu and sold me with his professionlism! After we purchased this Malibu, my wife and I left on a long trip and this car gave us 41 mpg, driving through the mountains of Idaho!! On the straight and level interstate of Montana, where the speed limit is 80 mph, she gave us 32mpg!!! I am totally impressed with this Malibu and with Galles Chevrolet!! My husband and I purchased a 2014 kia from Galles and were upside down on our trade in due to some unfortunate circumstances. My husband and I did experience an issue at Gallas however they took good care of us once they were made aware of the issue. My biggest concern was having a safe spacious vehicle for my family and I received that. The general manager was awesome and got us an amazing deal on are new car, helped us with our trade in and even got us a good warranty on our new car. The vehicle I wanted was a bit out of my reach but they made it happen. The GM provided great service and got us out the door in no time. Our story goes to show that Galles always takes care of their customers. I am extremely happy with my new vehicle and am blessed to have a safe car to commute in with my daughter. I would defiantly recommend Galles as a family dealership.

After numerous months of looking for a large SUV online, and at other Chevrolet dealerships, we finally found one that caught our attention at Galles. We decided that we should see what they had in their inventory. We were greeted by Chris Ruth and he began to walk us through much of their used inventory that somewhat met our requirements. When we left that day without purchasing, Chris knew our wants and our budget. He worked tirelessly to find vehicles that he thought we might want. He met with us and showed us numerous vehicles. He never gave up even when we left without purchasing over and over again. Chris was always courteous and patient. I truly felt that he never tried to sell us anything, rather he continued to show us vehicles he knew we might want and would be satisfied with. After over a month of working with Chris, he found us exactly what we wanted and at a price we were willing to spend. I am completely satisfied with my 2013 Suburban LT!! I absolutely love it and the price was exactly where it needed to be! Chris went above and beyond our expectations. He was determined to find us a vehicle and never ever tried to "sell" us a vehicle. I would definitely recommend Galles Chevrolet and Chris Ruth! I truly felt that he had our best interest at heart.

We will recommend this dealership but with a caveat. There was no high pressure as with other dealerships but we found that they weren't very forthcoming with ALL the information needed to make an informed decision. As a result we have put out money that we were promised to be reimbursed as soon as we presented them with an invoice only to be told when we presented said invoice that we had to wait for a few days. We had even called prior to laying out the funds to be sure. Also found our car listed the day after we purchased it on their website for $1,000 less than what they sold it to us for, this information was not available the evening prior. There were also a couple of other small inconsistencies that we later learned not to be the case but ended up cost us more than what we had originally planned on spending. We live approx an hour out of town so to be told one price over the phone, agree to it and then drive all the way into town to find out that the price/payment was $50.00 higher each time got really old.Therefore should you decide to do business with them, check everything and ask a lot of questions to be sure you're getting what you want.******REVISED*******I must say I was very impressed with Galles today. AfterJoe Ruth the Sales Manager took the time to listen to our concerns he promptly handled them to our satisfaction. Not many dearlership would have gone that extra mile to be sure our experience with them was a good one. Apparently it's very important to Galles therefore we will not only recommend Galles we will also go back when the time comes for another vehicle. Thank You Cathy Chapel, Joe Ruth and Galles for being concerned and not resting until we were happy. You've certainly earned our business.

Upper Management and service were fantastic! My salesman was very friendly, but I'm sorry to say a bit like the car salesman of the past. He was reluctant to answer straight forward. And neglected to inform me about the tire low pressure light coming on while he was driving to meet me for vehicle drop off. There was a slow leak and I still had an hour to drive on the highway with no services. This and another situation were quickly remedied by Mike Triviglo(?) the general manager. I had added the seat heater and they are working great, Leonard is the managing serviceman.

I had purchased new car in 2010, traded it for a Ford Pickup and applied for refund of unused credit life and gap insurance. They did not know how to do it was not very accomdating at all. Did not proces my paperwork for a month. They are good at the sale but terrible and service afterwords. I had service done there twice and was treated terrible. Had purchased a extended warranty but whenhad an issue was told they no longer dealt with that warranty company and I was on my own. I would never buy another car there.

I inherited a '95 Saturn SL2. It only had 35,000 miles on it, but it hadn't been driven or serviced for quite a while. I told Candice Munoz, the Service Advisor, that I needed to take the car on a long trip to help a sick family member, and I was nervous about the safety of the vehicle. Candice had their mechanics thoroughly check it out, and it needed a lot of work. They replaced the spark plugs, cracked drive belt, transmission filter, coolant, ect sensor and connector, and a valve cover gasket. They even gave me a loaner car because the repairs would take quite a while. The car drove like a dream through some pretty desolate areas for over 3,000 miles straight. I am very grateful to and impressed with Candice Munoz and the Galles mechanics.

Our vehicle broke down while we were on vacation and Galles was right around the corner so we took our vehicle there. The Galles staff members were very quick to greet me and they were very friendly, experienced and helpful. Candice Munoz greeted me upon arrival and was very professional, experienced and friendly. She explained everything that was to be done to our Tahoe and what exactly would be covered by warranty and what wouldn't. She gave us a time frame and our vehicle was done exactly on time. While waiting for our vehicle to get serviced I observed other Galles employees not from the service area going above and beyond to help other patrons in the service area. Bought 3 Chevys from this dealership in the past all new. 1985 Suburban, 2003 Tahoe and 2003 Suburban. All were great cars. This time Mr John Black did an excellent job in the end of year stress period. We do not buy often and are apprehensive about dealers. John was wonderful in finding all the information for us and stepping up. The new manager at Galles was wonderful as well and the greeter Al Unser III was exceptionally polite and helpful and should be a good addition.We would especially like to commend Andy who knows everything and is a wonderful teacher.Our experience was wonderful with all these people and we highly recommend John Black and Galles with the new manager and intend to be back when we need a new vehicle.

Had a great experience at this dealership. Because of a misunderstanding with the sales associate, I drove the car off of a curb at the dealership, thereby damaging the front plastic mud flaps. Marc Thomas worked with Sales General Manager Mike Trovigno (sorry if I misspelled the last name) to work something out to get it fixed. Mike Trovigno was fantastic; he offered to take care of it at the dealership's expense. They are all wonderful people to work with. I would definitely do business with them again. This is my 3rd Chevy from those guys. Can't go wrong with Chevy, nor with this dealership.

My recent visit to the Galles Service department was a real pleasure. My service advisor Chris was waiting as I arrived, he fully explained what was to be done and an approximate completion time. He updated the progress when there was a slight delay. The technicians (Jerry and others) who worked on my Corvette were able to diagnose and fix a door light module issue. Upon completion Chris fully detailed how the problem was resolved. I was extremely pleased with his service knowledge and interpersonal skills.Ashley was responsible for ordering the module after an earlier Diagnostic visit. The part arrived promptly. I received post cards from her that the parts were ordered and again when they arrived. She also coordinated my appointments, both diagnostic and service, and always completed the customer satisfaction follow up phone calls. Ashley is extremely pleasant and excels at customer relations. It is like she is your personal guardian angel.A year earlier I met a most cordial salesman in Andy Michael. He made the ordering and purchase of the vehicle a real pleasure. Whenever I am at the dealership he always has a kind word. I would like to thank everyone involved with the purchase and service of my car. I've visited Galles Chevrolet twice the first visit I drove off in a double cab Chevy Silverado had if for a couple of years and that's when my second visit was and at that time I drove off with my quad cab Chevy Silverado. I recently helped my daughter purchase a 2010 Chevy Malibu. Mr. Valdez first welcomed us into his office and asked us what we were looking for, offered us refreshments, and made the experience very comfortable. He was great! He searched online for the best f it for my spouse, based on what we were looking for. He then walked us around the lot. Its the first time we go shopping for a truck with no pressure form the sales man. We then made arrangements to get all paper work in order at our bank, as we are from out of town, Abram contacted us and made an appointment with us when the truck we had in mind was ready. Very bad service, walked in there and not one sales person was interested in helping us. We walked around very interested in a chevy traverse, we were there for more than a half hour and not person even greeted us. We will look at another Chevrolet dealer who is interested.

Set up an appointment online and shortly got an email back from Ashley to confirm and ask additional info. Could tell from the email that Ashley was concerned about customer service AND she had the customer service personality. When we met face to face, it was confirmed. Most important, she put me at ease. Getting a car serviced is always cause for angst.Ashley turned me over to Leonard and I got more of the same. He asked good questions about my issues to verify the work that needed to be done, was sure to keep me informed of the progress and other issues discovered.I don't consider myself an auto service/repair novice, but certainly not an expert either. I felt like I wasn't "out of control". We left a few things undone, but I'll be back soon!!Big kudos to Ashley and Leonard!

Hello,Our family was on a road trip from Denver to Phoenix for a youth hockey tournament. Our vehicle had engine problems 60 miles outside of Albuquerque (2007 Chevy Silverado). On Star arranged a tow to the Galles dealership. I called ahead and explained our situation and the helpful service gal put us in touch with Chris to go over our options. Chris explained they would be ready to work on our vehicle when we arrived. When we arrived they immediately took our truck back to the service bay and started working on it. They serviced our vehicle quickly to try and get us back on the road to make a 6:00 hockey game in Scottsdale. Unfortunately when we got the vehicle back it was still showing engine errors, Chris quickly had Enterprise bring a rental over for us and we took that for the weekend. Chris kept us updated throughout the weekend on our vehicle status. He called us early Tuesday morning to let us know we could pick up our vehicle knowing we needed to get on the road and get back to Denver.I really appreciate the helpful service people at Galles from the gals that answered the phone and helped connect us with Chris to get status on our truck.Thanks so much Galles for helping us through a tough situation.The Bourgeois'Arvada, Colorado

Abram spent a lot of time with us [over a period of two days], answering questions, demonstrating the car, helping us locate the car we wanted. We enjoyed our time with him and with the others who helped complete, hassle-free, the purchase. We are both retired teachers and we would have given Abram an A+! Typical Albuquerque Dealership, full price was the only price offered. Variants on full price that where actually over sticker due to add ons that are worth nothing. Told high pressure sales person "What it would take" about 3 times, $800 over invoice with no add ons, cash only deal. I WAS IGNORED!!!!!!!!! Wanted to buy $60K truck (3500HD crew cab diesel) walked away with nothing. Will buy from costco services final price WILL BE no more than $800 over invoice. Sales jerk tried to pit wife against husband, I been married 17 years...nice try. we both laughed and left right after that.To top it all? My Vette had a recall that I knew about. Had to go home and print it out to show shop manager as he did not believe me and could not look it up. Told dealership to NOT run the car without me being there to test the brakes they replaced. Some young kid took it out for a joy ride anyhow and brought car back smelling like it had been run hard as crap. Kid got out of car visibly shaken. MPG meter was about 19 when I dropped the car off with 1/2 a tank of gas gone, after joy ride it was at 10 Mpg average......not sure how hard you have to run the car to do that but it must have been outrageous, nice treat for brand new brakes huh? I floor it once a day at a minimum and still get 19 MPG average. I was told by a friend that since this poor dealership sells less than a dozen vettes a year they rarely see them and have a bad habit of running the dog crap out of them when they get into their shop. I should have known better, I gave specific instructions to avoid that but they where ignored. I understand very well they are REQUIRED to demo a car after they do brake work, I told them to do it with me there ONLY.

I love the convenience of the service department for my oil changes, or any other work that I have had done to my vehicle. Unfortunately, I have had to do some body work to my vehicle twice already, but thankfully Galles has done such a great job, that you can't even tell what kind of problems I had. Edwin was very helpful and made the best of a bad situation as far as he was concerned. He patiently explained that the front air dam didn't just fall off, but had been knocked loose by my wife (who didn't tell me) driving over something. After explaining it couldn't be warranty work he made arrangements to get it fixed within the hour. I had made an appointment through the web site, but never received an email or phone call confirmation. I called the day before the appointment and talked to someone in service (don't remember his name) who looked in the computer and said, yes I was listed. But when I got to the dealership, there was no record of it in your computer. That was not a good first introduction to your service department!Finally, it looks like the part is now back in place, but I noticed it is still missing a plastic clip/attachment screw on the inside of the wheel well. It is disappointing that something that basic would not be noticed and replaced.

A Saturn dealer you are NOT. the past 2 times to your dealership for service, my car has not been returned same day or washed or the oil gage reset. If I could know ahead of time it takes 2 days to deal with the car I can plan better. Basically I was treated better when I could take my saturn to the saturn dealer. Car was returned as promised, cleaned and on time. Too bad GM ended up the way it did, not a chevy person. Personnel are polite, cannot seem to get it together with the service department for some reason.

Had a defective fuel pump and drive train issues, so had to be towed to Galles. Being new to Albuquerque, Ihad no idea where to go, so I thought the nearest chevy dealer was as good a place as any. WRONG!!!!After keeping my car for 4 days and racking up $2400+ in repairs, I drove less than 1 mile off the lot, and the engine lite comes on. I go back. Chief mechanic Ted resets engine lite, assures me it's fixed, and sends me on my way. Again, after less than a mile away from dealership, the check engine lite goes on again. I bring it back again. The chief mechanic and service manager, Scott Ashcroft, and the service representative, Israel Bush all assure me that the lite is due to a bad oxygen sensor, that THEY ALL ACKNOWLEDGED WAS DAMAGED WHEN THE MECHANIC REPAIRED THE FUEL PUMP AND DRIVE TRAIN IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! Surely, after charging me more than $2400 for repairs, I would get the oxygen sensor repaired for free. Oh no, I am to pay for a part they acknowledge having broken!!!! An additional $115 repair later, I get to go home.I WILL NEVER GO TO GALLES AGAIN, NOR WILL I EVER GIVE ANYTHING BUT A POOR RECOMMENDATION FOR THESE PEOPLE. INCOMPETENT, INCONSIDERATE PRICE GOUGING JERKS IS A PHRASE THAT READILY COMES TO MIND WHEN DESCRIBING THESE PEOPLE. They will never have the opportunity to do this to me again. I don't care where anybody else goes, but if you've read this, be forewarned.

Poor customer service, sales team not knowledgeable. I would never return to this dealership again. The only guy that knew what he was doing was John the finance guy. We spent almost 2 days, made a deal and then after we signed the papers we found out they failed to verify they could sell us the car in NM because of emissions standards. We asked sales manager for help and he was rude and unprofessional. This dealership needs customer service training bad!
