Our salesman Craig was so nice to us. We haven't had a new car in 9 years and he was so patient explaining all the electronics and how they work, even giving us more information when we needed refreshing abaout the electronics at the end of the process and set electronics for us. We cannot say enough nice things about Craig and also Willis who was very informative and very easy to talk to. It was such an enjoyable experience. Thank you so much Craig for being so wonderful to us. The waiting areas were very nice with good coffee and snacks and other drinks. Very clean dealership and repair bays.

I contacted this dealer by email. Terrible experience with the guy who contacted me back. Could never give me a straight up answer just wanted me to come in. Now I know sales is there job but why waste my time going there when they don't have what I am looking for. The guy who contacted me strung things out for weeks, responding two days later on any question I had. It was a joke. Needless to say I bought else where. From a salesman that was straight up with what they had that matched what I was looking for.

Third visit to correct a minor problem on a brand new car under warranty. This service department used to be amazing. However this time several phone calls were required, the part was found to be broken when we arrived. They then failed to call when the new part arrived. After again making several phone calls they found the part! We arrived at our appointment time to have the repair completed only to be told we had no appointment which had been set up with the service manager three weeks earlier. Their inability to fulfill basic functions has made this much more difficult and frustrating than necessary.

My wife and I went in only to get prices on a 4x4 Jeep. We ended up buying a Jeep Cherokee Sport and taking delivery the same day. Our salesman, David Herzberg, was very helpful in getting the entire sale done in one afternoon, including license plate transfer from our trade in, insurance transfer from the trade in to the new vehicle and financing from our credit union. I had no idea it could all be done so quickly.

The wife and I had been looking for a new vehicle for more than three months. We had opportunity to take a look at a Jeep just several days prior to contacting the largest Jeep dealership we were able to find. I made an appointment but due to some unforseen circumstances, I was not able to keep the said appointment. I made an appointment the following day and made no solid time. Up to this point I had been working online with Breanna Howe would works their Internet section of the dealership. When I walked into the dealership, I had not walked ten feet when a short stumpy, unassuming and not much to look at man walked up to me and introduced himself as Steve Mellish. He told me That Breanna was dealing with couple of issues and that he would be assisting me in anything I may be interested in looking at. Breanna had already figured out through our online communication that I may want to look at a Jeep Cherokee latitude! I passed this information to Steve and he immediately went out onto the lot and brought out a 2015 Jeep Cherokee latitude for me to look over! And by the way, Steve Mellish is anything but stumpy, unassuming and not much to look at!! I'm retired US Navy and it turned out that Steve is retired US Air Force! He is is a very good person outside of being a salesman. After looking over the Jeep in question and I expressed my condolences for his choice of military service! We jumped into the Jeep and took it for a spin. When we got back to the dealership we went to Steves desk to start the paperwork. He also called Breanna and asked her to come meet me. Breanna showed up and introduced herself to me. This young lady is absolutely a beautiful woman and she was of the greatest assistance in working with me during our online conversations. She helped me a lot and I'm very appreciative of her assistance in making this sale!! I hope her boss realizes this. She pointed me in the correct direction! Steve was absolutely above reproach in driving me in his recommendations on my best options in regards to year, add-ons and keeping me down to earth towards what I wanted and What I really needed in the selection of this 2015 Jeep Cherokee latitude. The Cherokee is well built and had plenty of legroom and legroom was the overwhelming factor in selecting this Jeep! I stand 5'18" tall and I was very pleased with this selection of Jeep. These people and I mean all of these people at this dealership were beyond polite! I even had the chance to stand toe to toe with one of the owners of the dealership and ask the hard questions concerning support after the sale!! The man told me that him and his dealership would do whatever it Takes to make anything wrong, right!!! We looked each other eye to eye and I believed him. I've been around this globe two and one half times and I've met many people from many nations and many beliefs! This was in fact the best experience I have ever had in working with any dealership. The bottom line? These people treated me right and if problems arise then I'll do everything I can to treat them right. I know in my heart that this is the treatment I will and expect to receive! Excellent experience. Craig and the entire staff were very accommodating. All parties were knowledgeable, professional, and attentive. We purchased a cargo mat that had to be delivered to the dealership and would need shipping to my northern Michigan residence. In talking with the parts staff (Renee) she mentioned that she and her husband had a place near ours in northern Michigan and they were coming up that weekend and would it be OK if they delivered my cargo mat!! They did! Outstanding service!! My wife worked in dealerships for 40+ years was astounded at the service (as was I). Upon delivery Craig reviewed all the electronics and other features of the car. As this car was for my wife it was especially gratifying that Craig took the time to get her acclimated to the new systems and screens. Excellent experience. We will be returning for our next new car purchase. Highly recommended....

I had a great experience with Garber Nissan and the sales consultant, Craig Laferriere. He was friendly, honest, and approachable. The general manager at Garber got me a great deal on a Nissan Rogue S, because they wanted to meet a metric for the month of May and I lucked out because my purchase brought them closer to their goal. Craig helped me get the car I wanted in the color I wanted (super black). he went the extra distance and brought that car over from another dealership even though they had one on site with the agreed upon features and price. Craig also picked me up from my house to get the car. They finance office was very helpful and honest about which additional service / maintenance options to choose from that would benefit me. Wanting to stick to a Nissan I decided to go to the Garber on bay road to see what they had and if they could give me information on leasing. I met Craig and he was the best! Very up beat, very informative, and non-pushy at all. It was the most comfortable purchasing experience. He gave me all the information I needed to make the decision to lease for the first time by giving me comparisons of the different vehicles that will fit my situation and price range, and he didn't pressure me, which i find very important. The facility was clean, Craig was very hospitable making sure I was taken care example making sure I had a car to drive while remote start was being put in, making sure I had something to drink/eat, syncing up the blue tooth, and making sure I knew how the function all the features of the car before I left. And trust me I was not the easiest customer to help, I did not have a clue on what I wanted to purchased. Several years ago i went through a persoanl bankrupcy after a significantly painful period in my life.. Since that time i have worked hard to repair and build my life and reinstate my credit. i was very leary about applying for a new car loan and the minute I stepped into the beautiful show room i was made to feel welcome. Craig, our sales person was awesome, understanding and a great listener. He made me feel secure throughout the entire purchasing process. The showroom was beautiful and the entire staff was easy going and not at all pushy. The finance director was also very helpful. In addition, Craig worked on processing my paper work long after the dealership closed providing excellent custor service, touring and explaining the dealership grounds and walked me through understanding my new car (for the second time that day) in the pouring rain without a hint of complaint. Kevin Little, the Sales Representative that worked with me in purchasing my new 2014 Nissan Altima, was absolutely fantastic! He was incredibly knowledgable about his vehicles and the buying process and was happy to share that information with me as I inspected and test drove several cars. I will only purchase from Garber from now on. I had been searching for a replacement car for my son for a few weeks and needed to replace his car quickly before his died for good. I called the dealership to inquire of a car I saw on their web page. I was connected to Francisco Reyes; understanding my needs and the increasingly bad weather he made the deal happen for me in a day, bring the paperwork and the car to me at my job! The 3 day buy it, love it, or bring it back and sincerity of Franciso gave me the confidence to take a leep of faith and sign the paperwork without even driving the car first. I was in a lease that had two years left on it. I suddenly needed a truck and needed to get out of the lease. Everything i read said that I would pay a ton in fines and fees to get out of my lease early. Kevin at Garber was able to get me out of the lease and into a truck that I needed with no fees from the leasing company. The process was smooth and easy. I went to Garber after a friend said how happy they were in the purchase of their two Hyundais from them. I really hadn't considered a Hyundai, but after reading Consumer Reports, I knew that I should look at an Elantra. I "built" my Elantra Limited on the Hyundai site, and clicked that I wanted a quote. While I was still on the site, my telephone rang, and my soon-to-be sales consultant, Craig Laferriere, was calling to inquire about my interest. Wow! We visited the next day, and our experience was unlike any of the other 5 non-Hyundai showroom visits that we had made. First we talked about what I needed in a car. When we did go out for test drive, we didn't just jump in, Craig explained the car to us. I was extremely impressed when I drove the vehicle. It was a smooth, quiet ride, but it was fun to drive and I felt good driving it. It was also priced really well for what I got, which was everything!!! I met almost everyone in the dealership, including my future service rep. Everyone was friendly and courteous. Craig has since followed up with me to make sure I was happy with my choice. I love my new car!!!

This was our first non-General Motors new car purchase. Originally we were looking at a Nissan Quest, but the sharp salesman that we Started off with, pointed us in the right direction for our needs... A Caravan. Garber did not have what we were specifically looking for, on their lot... But we found a 2013 Dodge Caravan Blacktop Edition on-line at a dealership Quite a distance away. The Garber sales staff worked with that dealership And was able to get us the vehicle we wanted. Garber Bay Road also Did a great job with the trade-in price for our 2002 GMC Savana van. Very impressed, so far with the customer service... We even received a telephone Call from our original salesman (Craig Laferriere) over the holiday weekend, checking to see How we like our new van. Kudos!

From the sales process to the finance, all the way to the body shop for the detailing and finishing steps of the new car purchase, Garber on Bay was top notch. I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to a family member or friend. This was a tough purchase for me because I have leased nothing but GM products up until this point. This was my 6th new car. After 2 days of owning a Dodge product, I'm confident, I made the right choice. I was looking for a great price/performance ratio and this fit the bill more than the competition. Sadly, I had to go away from GM because their V8 car options are priced out of the market and even the V6 options are few and far between. The only option of getting a V6 with the new Impala, was to step up to the LTZ 2 and that was the straw for me on that one. I really liked the Taurus but they didn't fall in the same price range. To me, a great salesperson is not necessarily a stats junkie but somebody who can make you feel at ease and you can relate to. Joe Walker did a awesome job.

My husband and I just purchased a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid from Garber and we love it! This is by far not our first new car purchase, so when I say that dealing with the knowledgeable people at Garber was a delight, I mean it. Our salesman, A. J. Simon was very helpful, and not the stereo-typical salesman. After being at 6-7 other dealerships within the same week, we visited Garber with no intention of purchasing a new car that day, but drove away that same afternoon in our new Sonata. I had no intention to actually purchase a vehicle when I came to visit this dealership. I definitely was very impressed with how much each representative made me feel so welcomed and that I was not just a customer but someone they truly intended to help out-as if I was a family member. In the same day I went to visit a different dealership that supported a discount that I would have been able to receive from my current employer. I was looking for a very specific color Jeep for an anniversary gift. The color has been discontinued and the availabilty was limited to dealer stock only. I worked with JB at Garber and he and the GM, Gary, they located the perfect Jeep for me. They worked out the details of the dealer trade and made arrangements for a quick transfer. Pete in the finance department was able to get me an incredible deal on the financing. When the vehicle arrived it was prepped and ready for delivery. JB had the Jeep out front with a big bow on it. It was a great suprise. The entire process from start to finish was amazing. I greatly appreciate the extra efforts to make this perfect.

OMG they we so nice and helpful. telling me they could get me a car with no money down and 3.9% interest rate. the paperwork is taking a long time so i take the car home for the night. next day the interest rate is 10% with $3700 down. but they can give me the car with no money down if i dont trade in my old car and take out a second loan and have 2 cars and 2 car payments. when i tell then no way would i do that, how can a single mom afford 2 car payments? they get very ugly with me and throw my keys at me. he says to me as im walking out the door, enjoy your life. what a a$$. my 6 year old son was with me. but before he gives me back my keys he tells me that i am being very mean and what did i expect when i came down there. well i expected to have the same deal they told me the day before. i just clearly said i dont want to waste your time but i am not buying a second car so can you please go find my keys. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE.

I was on the way home in a vehicle I was happy with, but that received a lot of attention I simply didn't care for. I saw a more modest vehicle (in my mind) at Garber and thought I'd take a look. The price was fair, the trade for my vehicle was fair and the vehicle I was interested in was in the condition I'd expect it to be in: it wasn't perfect, but well within my ability to repair (lights, filters, etc.) I was completely wrong about the new vehicle's tendency towards modesty, but that's not Garber's fault! Now, I can't go anywhere without people taking pictures. I guess that's something I'll just have to live with. Bill Case was the gentleman I worked with. Sure, the usual sales techniques and theatrics were there, but he executed them without the usual pressure, which I appreciated (honestly, I was sold before I even went in to the dealership -- if he knew that, he didn't show his tell). If you decide to buy from Garber, please look up Mr. Case - the man is a well-honed professional in an age of gaudy amateurs.

Dear Garber, You guys are the BEST! I had been shopping for about week or so and had been to several dealers in the Flint and Saginaw area. You all were so friendly from the beginning - 1st phone call to set up a "showing". John K was excellent to work with, he knew what he was doing and I didn't feel like he was pulling something over on me. I am a woman who was doing this on my own. Garber gave me the best value on my trade, more of what I was looking for. The other dealers really low balled me - which I had known I could get better when they told me the quote. Garber was great to work with. John K really spent his time talking with me about the new car. Showed me most of the aspects and details of the car. The other dealers spent little to know time with me. They basically said here are the keys to test drive and here's approximately what your monthly payment will be. It was a payment range - up to a $100 difference. No fooling and fussing with Garber - they gave me a pretty good price right at the beginning so when the bottom line came it was pretty exact on. Garber Bay Road dealership is the best. We viewed cars on their website and called to make sure it was accurate (some dealerships do NOT keep their websites up to date.) Garber's website was accurate. We did not know how to get there and the sales woman we talked with, Tessa, gave us great directions and even her cell phone in case we got lost. We test drove a car and Tessa was great at showing us how all the features worked. It was nice to have a salesperson that knew how all the computer items worked. The sales manager Gary really helped us with a great deal and financing and even had the car delivered to us- 2 hours away! Garber is a quality dealership!

I got a great deal on the car I wanted. They did not try to sell me a car on the lot. They went and got the car I wanted from antoher dealer. The price was the same. Very easy to make the deal with no pressure. I highly recommend this dealership.

This is the first time I have bought a brand new vehicle, I normally buy used cars. The customer service I recieved from Garber was excellent. They have been working with me for a few weeks trying to match my requirements until we reached the final deal. They were very friendly and attentive to my needs. We had a great experience buying a car with the staff at Garber-Bay Road. Andrew Peck was amazing and VERY patient with us. He put up with our many questions and indecisiveness. It was clear that Andrew's main goal was to make sure we found a car that fit our needs. They were straight forward with the price and shaved off as much as they could to make us happy. I had a very good experience purchasing a vehicle from Garber Nissan a few weeks ago. My salesman John K. and the rest of the staff were very helpful. They helped me find a truck that would work for me and gave me the best price I had seen. They even modified some things I didn't like at no extra charge. So far the after the sale service has been top notch. I really couldn't have ask for much more.

I have never bought a Nissan before, but after my recent experience it will definitely be the first place I come to in the future. My salesman Kevin Naessens made me feel that I was the only one that existed, he gave us great individual care. He also explained all details of the car and made sure we were knowledgable and happy before we left there. The transcaction went very smooth and fast!! I have already recommended this dealership and Kevin to all of my friends and I absolutely LOVE my car!

We had an awesome experience at Garber Bay Road! Andrew Peck was a great person to work with; very professional, but did not put the pressure on us in any way. He helped move car seats and was patient with my young boys as we talked numbers! Between him and Gary Anderson, we were able to get an amazing deal on our new car! They were patient with us, as we have two young kids, and have to work around nap and work schedules, and offered to bring the car to us so we wouldn't have to keep bringing the kids back in. Overall, I would definitely go back in the future and highly recommend our friends and family to go with them.

Horrible car buying experience with Dan Vega, Salesman for Garber Bay Road. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone and I would strongly advise shopping there. Initially, the salesman was helpful in finding what we needed. Once we found the right vehicle for us, we negotiated the terms of the sale, which included 2 new tires, a completed roof rack and the minor scratches on the car to be buffed out and repainted. It was close to the end of the month and Dan was very pushy with getting his money. Against our better judgement, we paid Dan on 11/30/2011 and the vehicle was to be delivered to my place of work the following day. As soon as we handed Dan the check, the quality of service changed drastically. Because our vehicle was to be delivered the following day, we were provided a loaner vehicle. The loaner given to us was extremely dirty and my husband had to ask for a different one. The next day, Dan contacted me in the afternoon stating he was going to be delivering the vehicle at 4:30pm. He called me at 4:15pm and told me he wasn't going to be leaving the dealership until 4:30m. I had somewhere to be after work and could not sit around and wait for my new car to be delivered. I ended up having to leave work early and drive to the dealership. Once I get to the dealership, Dan and I go out to my vehicle and right away, I notice the scratch on the back of the bumper was not fixed nor were the small scratches in the front. Additionally, the roof rack was not completed. When I asked him why these things were not taken care of, he tells me that he "signed off" on the vehicle hours ago and this should all be taken care of. The tires were the only thing finished. I ended up leaving at this point with the new vehicle and my husband called the sales manager the same night. The sales manager apologized for the inconvenience and advised us that the part to complete the roof rack wasn't going to be in for another week. The sales manager states that he will call us the following day to schedule an appointment to finish everything that was agreed upon. Of course it took 2 days for the sales manager to get back with us and a trip to the dealership by my husband at which point the sales manager states that he really gave us a good deal on the car. When does a good deal excuse poor service? The appointment was scheduled for that following Thursday, 12/8/11. On Thursday, I did not hear from Dan until my husband made yet another phone call to the sales manager. Finally Dan called me (approximately 1:30pm) and stated he was going to be picking up my vehicle. He was gone roughly 2 hours, called me and said everything was done and that my car would be dropped off. Dan had dropped off the vehicle, and left. So I went out to inspect everything and the scratches were not buffed out, but covered with wet discolored paint and the roof rack that was to be completed was sitting in the box, in the back of the car! I ended up calling back to the sales manager who stated he never inspected the vehicle before it left, and he was very apologetic also stating that everything would be taken care of. I ended up contacting Garber Management Group who then contacted the General Sales Manager for Garber Bay Road. After yet another week, the vehicle was finally completed to our satisfaction. This was a huge inconvenience caused by Garber Bay Road. Their lack of customer service, communication and respect to the customer was very evident in our car buying experience. It is a shame that a dealership that prides itself on customer service "You'll Do Better with Garber," cannot live up to its expectations, Clearly, they put precedence in their profits over customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Mike McGinnis is the man you want to talk to. He's a very sweet person and extremely willing to help. The dealership is well maintained, and the atmosphere is more relaxed than what you would normally experience. Garber is a great place to go to purchase a car, and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a vehicle.

Lou Garza was my salesman at Garber and he did an excellent job. The entire shopping experience was very pleasant and professional. I was able to use their online site to browse the vehicles that were available on their lot. Even if you're a little unsure about what direction you want to go in, say for instance, Hyundai vs Nissan my salesman was very helpful in assisting me come to a decision that was within my budget and most importantly a vehicle I really like. Though I must say the Nissan Sentra and the Hyundai Elantra were very tempting, I'm happy with the vehicle I chose. Thanks Lou and Roxy Jay
