I went it to talk about my options with my leased car and I had met Gina there and she was just hands down AMAZING. The best saleswoman I’ve met, she didn’t make me feel like I was being preyed on as a customer, she was very real and outgoing with me, we laughed so much while I looked at options that day. Went online picked out vehicles I was interested in from used car advertising on their own website. The next morning prepared to go for a test drive and called ahead. They say car I inquired about is no longer available. So I just asked how often do you update website? He could not tell me. That was the kicker. Next kicker was they tried to or though they would ask for my price range. I just stated what good is information I give you it if the car showing on your website is not available? I understand as a consumer cars get sold, but sometimes my opinion is that if it's not available then take it off your website.

I bought it used from Carmax. in 2012. It is a 2010. I am 73 and dont drive as much today as I did when I had my advertising company in Elgin.I visited your Service Department several times in the old building and your new facility. My wife narrowed the car search to a KIA Optima, Hyundai Sonata and Subaru Legacy as her preferred vehicles. We also test drove the Ford Fusion and Chevy Malibu at the end of the process (3 days later) we became another extremely satisfied customer and raving fan of Gerald KIA of North Aurora. We purchased a 2016 Optima Sangria at great price and my wife couldn't be happier. As the saying goes happy wife happy life.The experience was phenomenal Ed Sparti the finance director was courteous, professional and demonstrated a high degree of integrity by not trying to sell us more things that we didn't want. We had a budget that was reasonable and he worked with it, he explained all the paperwork thoroughly and didn't take hours to complete the process. I did most the shopping over the phone looking at there inventory without any hassle. There was no monkey business with pricing or bait and switch which many people fear when shopping for a car. I was very appreciative of Derek Duff as well because of his knowledge, hospitality and reception of us made us fell very welcomed and relaxed through the process. Went here and was greeted by Vito.Not very knowledgeable, was stressful to work with. We asked Vito about payments, and he was unable to answer. Vito would tell me things about the vehicle I was interested in that weren't true. My husband would ask how much it would be if we financed "X", Vito would only reply with "yeah, I get that, but where do you need to be". Vito tried to tell me the vehicle had captains chairs, when in fact he took out the middle seat and put it in the trunk. Told me this was the only car they could sell me. Found the vehicle I wanted at their sister lot, but Vito said the website was wrong and told me this was the only one left. Almost bought what he was trying to sell me.Then I called their sister in Naperville.Michael answered ALL of my questions, if he didn't know, he found out. The vehicle I asked to be put in in Aurora WAS there, and is NOW mine, thanks to Michael.I will say, though that the sales manager that tried to help us was nice to speak with.

I used TrueCar to get quotes from several dealerships on several vehicles. I told all the dealerships within 150 miles what I was being quoted and asked all of them for out-the-door prices including all dealer add-ons and TT&L. Some dealers asked I come in to discuss it. Gerald just gave me a price and explained the features and models offered.Gerald had the best deal and gave me exactly what they quoted. There were other things that they recommended (on occasion maybe slightly condescendingly/frustrated) I add to the purchase but in the end there were no mandatory add-ons to complete the purchase. Great followup service. Service forgot to put the floor mats in the car and the detailing job was sub par (marks in the car, used a dirty rag on windshield that left bad streaks, paper towel residue on dash). After asking about the mats and some back and forth on whether the car came with mats, they are in the process of shipping them to me with minimal hassle. Nothing in life is perfect, Gerald Kia has been fair, reasonable and reliable in working through the issues and speed bumps.

There are some things that a dealer cannot control - vehicle setup, etc. I didn't get exactly what I wanted (car-for-car), but it wasn't available from the MFGR. However, they did everything for me that they could, and I gave up a couple of things and got a couple of others.All-in-all, I am happy with my KIA Sorrento - I had a '12, '14 and now the 2017; so, you can understand that I "really" like the vehicle. Gerald KIA personnel helped me out when I had a problem with the '14 and I never forgot it. So, I went there for this trade (lease) to pay them for their kindness.JFBaker

It was not the usual four hour battle for a fair price that I have experienced at most other car dealers in the past.Matt and I came to a price that I think was fair for both of us within 15-30 minutes even with my trade in not available at the time of our discussion. After speaking with my wife, I returned with my trade. And Matt, upon seeing the car, was able to give me a higher trade value as he promised he would after seeing the trade.Also, because it was very late, the protection package was overlooked did not get installed on the car. My experience with other car dealers in the past would have been we never promised you that. Matt had the protection package installed pronto. He also searched for my car and sent out for it and had it on site ready for me that evening to finalize the deal.All the other staff, Fabian, Eric, John from service, plus 3 or 4 others whose name escape me, we're very professional, friendly, and eager to meet your every need.Best of all, the car is incredible. Kudos to Kia.

This dealership tends to under price trade ins and over price used vs market comps so "buyer beware". The sales folks are very nice however and the place seems friendly. I have attempted to do business with them in the past and we couldn't make a deal happen because of how far we were in price. I would also mention that there is a fellow named "tony" who leers in the background which is kind of creepy. Place is clean and friendly otherwise.

He knew his product, was not pushy, was very personable and attentive to my wants and concerns. Now I have seen that with other people while buying a car but Ed went beyond that. Most of the time after the sale, the salesperson kind of "forgets" you a bit, but not Ed. Any question or problem I have----boom----when can I help you---now thats service !!Also, Ed was not available for question I had the day after I bought my car. I spoke with Ben and he was with a customer and told me he would call back in an hour. After I hung up I thought there is no way he is going to call back, he'll forget I called----nope!---he called in about 1 hour and was very helpful and pleasant. Now thats team work !

Hands down best shopping experience I have ever had with a car. I totaled my car and was just looking at the moment because I didn't have the check from the insurance yet. No one pushed to get me into a vehicle immediately. They were completely understanding and totally friendly. Everyone joked around like we were friends instead of customers. They did call and email to check on us but never pushed to come in. I felt as though it was just to check how we were doing more than it was a push to come in as other dealerships did. They even matched other prices. I have never had such a quick easy friendly experience. Jason totally understood my needs and didn't try to push for something more expensive or more fancy. I have purchase 3 new cars in the last five years and thought the days of dishonest and manipulative dealerships were a thing of the past. That was until my interactions with Gerald Kia of North Aurora last night. The dishonesty and manipulation was systematic and coordinated. It began with the initial phone call where the sales manager told me that they had a red 2016 Sportage on the lot. I later found out that Kia does not even make the 2016 Sportage in red. However, according to Joe, they had cherry red as well as a Merlot color. I had done a fair bit of homework, getting a specific quote paired with an actual VIN from truecar,com so I was prepared to get the vehicle in a no haggle manner. Upon arriving, I was presented with a "Black Cherry" Sportage for test drive. Make no mistake...Black Cherry is undeniable Black. We stated that we would test drive the black car while Joe scoured the planet for an actual red sportage (which does not exist). The test drive was fine. We proceeded with negotiations on a silver sportage and the typical old school dealership, back and forth negotiations ensued. It was anything but the no haggle experience as described by truecar.com. They started with a $2000 higher base price then I was quoted online. They also pulled out all the old tricks trying to tack $1500 costs for the plastic door protector strips and wheel locks that "are extras already installed". During the negotiations, an ancillary sales person assured me that he had only seen a red 2016 Sportage in very rare circumstances and only at the highest trim levels and that Kia does not even advertise that they manufacture that color. Finally, I dealt with the sales manager himself and went through line item detail for the online quote I received. He acquiesced in an exasperated manner completely incredulous at the unheard of deal I was getting. Then the usual attempts at up sells of interior and exterior coatings for a mere $2500. Then of course there was financing. Prior to going to the dealership, I was assured I could get the 72 month, %1.9 financing AND all the available rebates. The sales manager attempted to claim that it was financing OR the rebates. When challenged he finally admitted that the financing was available with a no Kia motors financier enabling both the rate and rebates. Then I was passed to the finance guy who wanted to sell me the extended bumper to bumper warrantee for $1800. When I declined I was characterized as a wreckless risk taker. In all, it was a fun and tiring experience. If you go to this dealership, lured by favorable online quotes, be prepared with detailed quote info and be ready to challenge them at every step of the process. Car dealership dishonesty and manipulation are alive and well at Gerald Kia of North Aurora.

We had done our research and used True Car as leverage as this Dealer was stated on the site to honor these prices. First, I will have to say the Sales Consultant Micheal Cabalero was knowledgeable and professional however when they state things like No-Haggle ... Don't believe this. They didn't want to honor the true car price by saying the incentives are not included so the True Car price is higher. Well, in the terms and conditions it was clear this was not true and when I showed them and spoke about contacting the True Car assistant they changed the price by admitting a so called error. Then, we had a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am trade in that if I had to do it over again, I would have donated the car and got more value by listing as a write off on my taxes. Oh well, my fault for that one. If you have an older car, do not trade it in at this dealer. Dempsey Dodge was the most fair at offering a reasonable value and were the most casual and friendly ... wish they sold KIA's. The finance guy was a bit pushy on the extras but that was expected. Remember the extras are overpriced, but who am I to tell you not to get them? Do the research first and see all the facts! All I have to say is come armed with words of facts and read terms before you sign and get the best deal. Don't get mad, upset; just use words to negotiate as it's hard to argue with facts and research. Hope this helps someone. I did end up getting a great price but would have paid $2500 more if I didn't do my research and spoke up. I wouldn't say absolutely don't go, but just be ready for an old fashioned "Used Car Salesman" approach!

I test drove 5 cars on Saturday; not ready to buy, just wanting to test drive to get an idea of what I liked and I ended up going home with a vehicle! I was astonished at the level of professionalism that we received from the moment we walked in. We worked with Eli Zabib and let me just say, if I need another vehicle, I will definitely visit him first! After four other dealers (one of which was another Kia), he was the only one who was willing to take the time to not only go through the entire car (top to bottom), but he was willing to work with my budget and legitimately showed me cars I could afford and be happy with. We got there around 4:45 and ended up leaving at 8:30 with a new car in tow. The entire time I was there I felt completely reassured that I was getting excellent service and a heck of a deal. As a woman in my late 20's shopping for a new car which was going to be on my dime for the first time (with my parents along for the ride), I greatly appreciated the way I was treated; not as someone who didn't understand how to purchase a vehicle or someone to talk over, but someone who was legitimate and needed a new car. I was never condescended to or treated any differently than say, my dad buying a car. This was a recurring theme throughout some of the other test drives and I can't tell you how happy it made me feel to be treated with respect. I absolutely ADORE my new Kia Soul and will be recommending the brand, the dealer and specifically Eli to my friends in the future.

They kept a smaller car that I did not want saying I couldn't afford the ca saying I couldn't afford the car I wanted I then called gerald actually accidentally and got Ed Mierzycki on line, him and Sean McKane and Brian Shewalter not only got me the car I wanted but at the price I could afford! They were AMAZING! Also this dealer offers the lifetime warranty on all new vehicles !! Icouldn't be happier and would recommend this dealership to anybody! When I walked into Gerald Kia on Thursday my intention was not to buy a car. I had already been given a very low quote for my trade in at another dealer and was not confident that these guys would do any better. I was immediately introduced to Ed Mierycki who took a little information from me to find out exactly what I wanted. He then took me to the vehicle and proceeded to give me the most thorough walk around explaining everything about the car. Answering any questions along the way. You don't normally get that kind of introduction to your car until after you sign the paperwork. They then let me take the car home to my wife to look at and drive. "Take your time, let her enjoy it" they said. When I brought it back we started talking numbers. The first offer was good. But I told them that another dealer vowed to beat them. They stopped the game and really gave me a great deal that I couldn't say no to. Ed was very nice throughout the whole process, was very informative and will gladly go back to for my next car.

Dan was very friendly and when I told him that I had already driven a couple of Kia forte. He allowed me to decide if I wanted to continue test driving or to head back to the dealership. Even before driving the car, the car had to be brought back from another dealership and they gave me an ETA on it allowing me to decide to stay or to go get something to eat. All the staff was great to me and helped me though the process and the financial questions I had. After I had got home I realized that I had forgotten to take the CD out of my old car and emailed them about it. They are holding for me till I can get there.

I purchased a 2015 Kia Soul for a good price from Ed, but a month later I was in a highway accident and the car was totaled. I was very worried that I wouldn't be able to get a good deal on a new car again, and might have to get a used car or something that I didn't really want in order to save money. I never get suckered into anything but he inquired if I was happy with my car and if I would be interested in exploring other options. When I first bought my kia it was from a nissan dealer and they suckered me into the worst deal of my life. I was then stuck in a upside down loan and was not worth even paying off the car for what its worth. Fabian helped me get a great deal and never pressured me into anything. He truly wanted the best deal he can get for a reliable car with an outstanding warranty. Much much better than my first car buying experience.!!!!!!!!

My husband and I went to the dealership to pick up an oil filter for my 2007 Kia Rondo, which is really all we have ever had to do is basic maintenance on the car, which has 140,000 mIles on it.. I have been talking about getting a new car soon so I have been looking at different models. When we arrived we were greeted by Fabian , whom we have dealt with before, my daughter also had a Sorrento. I asked to look at the new vehicles. I told him I didn't want a car or a big van and he showed me the Soul. I must admit I did not like the Soul in prior years, thinking it was too "boxy", but Kia has made some changes in the body style and I fell in love. We test drove it and Fabian and Sean even let us drive it to another dealership in the area because I expressed interest in a different car (Mazda ) I personally didn't like them, especially with their price and limited warranty. I knew this Soul was the one for me. Fabian took the time to answer my questions and even showed me how to hook up my phone. I'm telling you this car has so many cool options.They worked on the numbers getting our payments where we needed them and I drove home that afternoon in my new Soul!! Oh, and a oil filter for the Rondo! Which my husband will drive.

From the moment we pulled up to the Gerald Kia dealer to the day we drove away in our new Kia Sportage, we had an excellent customer service experience. When working with Sean McKane to negotiate a price, Sean was fair and willing to meet us at a price we felt comfortable with. Never once did we feel pushed towards the deal and never once did we feel like we were being taken advantage of. Sean was very professional, courteous, friendly, and willing to help us find a price that worked for us as well as the dealership. When the Sportage we wanted wasn't available on the lot, Sean worked to find the right color and trim that we wanted. The dealership loaned us a similar vehicle until our car was available for pick up. We had a great experience at the Gerald Kia dealership in North Aurora, it was the best dealership we visited during our car searching journey. Dan Rudnicki was an awesome and memorable part of the entire shopping experience! My wife and I weren't out of our car before he was meeting us at the door. He was very professional and very courteous the entire time. He made us feel very appreciated. I have only ever gone shopping with my father before and have had previous sales consultants that were very pushy or didn't listen to what we were looking for or what price range we wanted. Dan gave us the breakdown of the different trim models. He also gave us some specs on each and helped us piece together what our truck would look like. The Sportage we ended up buying was the LX Mineral Silver AWD version that unfortunately was out on a service run. Dan didn't try to talk us into a different car, He walked us around the lot and showed us the color on an EX version and showed us an AWD in a different color. It definitely helps to do your research before coming in to visit. I would highly recommend Dan to anyone looking for a car shopping experience where you don't walk away thinking that you bambuzzled. We ended up coming back last night for our truck despite the rain, cant wait to drive our new truck everywhere now! Also of interest, the Sportage has a lever that adjusts the seat so my 5 foot 1 1/2" tall wife can see were she is driving in. Would highly recommend the truck. Dan if we are ever in the neighborhood again we owe you a steak burrito!

Free water and clean bathrooms were nice. Everyone was friendly, but then again most people are when they know you are buying a new car. My third time around buying a car was the same experience as the the other two. The process seems rather scripted no matter where you go. Not a knock on the dealership, just an observation overall. We got the car we wanted and only took a few hours versus the 10 we spent at Nissan last time around, so that was a positive as well.

After an agonizing search, my husband found a Kia to test drive at Gerald. We drove almost an hour to get there........and it was worth it!!!!!! We worked with Dan Rudnicki. He had my children, husband, and myself laughing and smiling from ear to ear during the test drive. He worked diligently on the financial negotiation with us. I felt as though he really was looking out for my family....not just a car salesman. Mike Johnson did my loan and was delightful too. Such a wonderful and painless experience!

If youre looking to buy a Kia, I highly recommend going to Gerald Kia in North Aurora. I delayed my car purchase for months, because like most folks, especially women, I dreaded the process. If I had just started the process with Gerald Kia in North Aurora I would have saved myself a whole lot of trouble.I did most of my negotiating via email with Jim Whitgrove, a sales manager. He was straightforward, no nonsense, and just plain nice. From the first time I spoke to him on the phone my gut said heres a simple down to earth kind of person. When I emailed the details for what I was looking for, he responded quickly and in the format that I requested unlike most other dealerships I contacted. And he was the only dealer to ask what city I was coming from to ensure that he gave me an accurate tax amount. And lastly, even though he didnt have the lowest bid I noticed that the other dealers had included a rebate that he had not. He explained that this rebate was only available if I agreed to Kia financing. He said that if I wanted to use them for financing he could offer that as well. How refreshing! Instead of including items in his bid that could have made him look more competitive, he opted to be straightforward and only offer a price that he knew he could stand by. How could I not buy from this guy?Given all the other great reviews and service I received so far, I hoped that the actual purchase would be simple too. And it was. Jim set me up with a sales rep named Dan Rudnicki. It took about four hours to do all the paperwork, the trade-in, the financing, and the walk through of the car. And Dan stayed with me through the whole time. No running off to close another deal. He even spent practically an hour showing me how to use all the fancy technology equipped in my new Kia Soul. He was so sweet and encouraging about it. So it went seamlessly, except for one hiccup. The remote start I wanted wasnt in stock and Jim didnt know it at the time when we finalized the deal. But he located one, got it in the dealership, and installed it the same day. Unfortunately, I didnt have time to wait. I needed to head back. Jim and Dan arranged for a loaner car so I could use for the day. And Dan was so great he offered to drive down and deliver my new car and then just drive back with the loaner. This was a HUGE help given that the dealership is almost one and half hours away in traffic from my house. But Dan did this without complaint on Halloween Day. How amazing is that!Bottom line, Jim and Dan are nice guys. They treat people like human beings. They dont make you feel stupid or small, like I had other dealers. Or try to take advantage of me being a woman, to line their pockets. They both genuinely wanted me to be happy with my purchase. And they still even answer questions via emails even after I bought the car. So everybody, especially ladies wanting a good car experience, buy your Kia from Gerald Kia of North Aurora. It was totally worth the one and half hour drive. Id do it all over again.

We started talking to Fabian Murphy back in July while our Kia Soul was being serviced. At the time we told him we were looking at Sorentos. We told him we were not immediately ready to purchase a vehicle. Despite that he spent an hour with us showing us the Sorento and the new Souls (because we were curious). We never felt pressured to purchase that day but left with every bit of information we needed and then some. He basically made the sale that day. We revisted the lot on two or three occasions afterward and on each occasion he gave us the time and answered questions, met the kids and lets us play with the "bells and whistles" of the SX model. I really enjoyed dealing with him.

This is my 1st new car in 20 years. In the latter years I have purchased vehicles domestic and non domestic from many dealerships in the Chicago land arena. Usually these vehicles were 1-3 years old, with very low mileage. Prior to that when I did buy new vehicles on a regular basis; GM and JEEP. I honestly would walk away after each purchase not feeling confident although I did a lot of research.Until then, in my overall 45 years of auto purchase, this purchase of a new KIA Soul was the best experience I have ever had. I believe it has a lot to due with "Customer satisfaction & customer approval" My sales consultant Dan Rudnicki, walked me through everything over a course of two days; as I was having a service repair done on my 2011 KIA Soul. Dan was very Courteous, friendly, and really took the time to explain everything in detail in "Layman's terminology". Next was Mike Johnson, the finance manager. Both Mike and Dan were able to not only find me the package I wanted, but also the color (very important); when no such vehicle was on their property. I understand networking, but Mike really did "One helluva job"! Mike also got me the best financial rate that fit my needs.Lastly I want to touch briefly on the service personnel, Jaime and Eugene Strammel (Service Manager). These tow men alone do one bang up job, and probably don't get much credit for all they do. They are directly responsible for steering me to Dan and Mike, because of their great service, friendliness and attitude, every time I brought in my previous KIA Soul.These men at Gerald KIA, North Aurora, really set the bar high for customer satisfaction. This was very important for helping me make my decision to purchase what I wanted. Mike Johnson was also very helpful in getting me the best financing for my new car. When you go to a car dealership, usually the experience is very intimidating and you leave feeling like you did not get the best deal you could of and the sales person only cared about his commission; the complete opposite was experienced at Gerald Kia. Being a first time car buyer I know absolutely nothing about buying a car, how to make a good deal on a car, nothing but Quentin and the sales manager really took the time to help me through the process and assured me I was getting the best deal. Also being a first time car buyer I have a first time car buyer budget and they were willing to meet where I wanted to be as far as monthly payment and getting the most I can get with my money's worth.I would definitely tell people if you want to buy a Kia, Subaru, or Hyundai go to Gerald Kia!!

When a potential buyer walks into a showroom sure he see's all the cars, but how he is greeted and treated can make or break a deal. Three weeks ago my husband and I met Sales Consultant Daniel Rudnicki. From the beginning we liked him because he was not pushy. We had a lot of questions. He was very knowledgeable regarding the specifications, features, and different packages that Kia offers. After we took a test drive we went home and came up with more questions. Dan took the time to answer all of our questions over the phone. We were never rushed . When we purchased our Kia it was on the lot within a few days. We explained to Dan and Curt that we were unable to bring it home for a few weeks. That was not a problem for them. We really appreciate the fact that Dan and Kia worked with us. We never once felt like we had to hurry up and get it off the lot. Dan was extremely knowledgeable about Kia vehicles and knew his inventory so we didn't waste a lot of time looking at all the car stickers ourselves to find what we wanted. He explained EVERY detail of the Rio and what EVERY button and gadget on it does. We left with a Kia Rio today and feel confident we made the right decision. We were greeted by very knowledgeable and prepared sales and finance personnel and our process for finding and purchasing a vehicle that we really like went very smoothly. We had submitted a credit application online with a choice of a vehicle we had an interest in. We received a call the same night we submitted the credit application and inquiry from Brian and he was already looking into a vehicle for us and getting our credit check done. When the vehicle that we originally had an interest in was not available, he found another better vehicle that we like even more then the first one we had considered and then helped us in our process of financing. Dan helped Brian since Brian is somewhat new with the dealership but the teamwork was awesome and we could see that we were getting exceptional service from them as they worked through the paperwork required for purchasing the vehicle. We also had very good and personable service from Bill Conroy (William Conroy) as we worked through completing the finance process. There was no pressuring to spend more than we wanted to and everything was presented to us in an information fashion for us to make our decisions. We were very pleased with the service and hospitality we received at Gerald Kia and would definitely recommend them to friends who might be looking to purchase a vehicle sometime in the future.

I left him with only my first name and phone number. He stayed in contact with me other the following days and weeks by just making a simple, short phone call to ask if this was a good week to come and test drive. I went to test drive the Soreno on a day it was -15 and he had the car warming up for me when I arrived. What service!

On Wednesday afternoon December 18 2013 my wife and I visted Gerald Kia of North Aurora and were warmly greeted at the front door with a hand shake by Mr. Lester Hughes who had a very friendly smile for us. Mr. Hughes asked us to sit down and specifically wrote down in detail want we were looking for and what we could spend. He showed us several autos in our price range.We took a road test and then sat down to crunch the numbers. The whole time we were there, Mr. Hughes was very courteous and was on top of every need we had. The price that was worked out was to our satisfaction. We drove away with two new vehicles. Overall our experience with Mr. Hughes and Gerald Kia were the best my wife and I have had since living out here. No other car dealer that we have been to can match the quality of salesmanship and kindness that we experienced today. It was a flip of the coin, Kia or Hyundai, we decided to go into the Kia dealer first. I was up front and said we were looking today and seeing what's here. Dan told us he would work hard te keep us here and try to offer what we are interested in. He was right; friendly, honest, energetic and enthusiastic. He was able to bring us an offer that was within budget and close the deal. A very good experience overall we are happy with the new car and our payment, rare do those two come together. I did not purchase a vehicle from this dealership but their Kia Optima SX was one of the top 3 that I sent out offers when I made a decision. I test drove their Kia Optima SX and I was impressed with the cleanliness and condition of this pre-owned vehicle. Mike O'Brien was assigned to help me and he was very honest and friendly. He was very understanding of our time and never pushed for a sale. That seems to be the style for the entire dealership because their manager (James Brown) was also very friendly.Unfortunately, another dealership threw a hail mary and met my offers and the price was too good to pass up. We were only a few hundred dollars away from making a deal so I feel bad that I could not deal with such an amazing group of people but I had to make the call.Anyways, Gerald Kia of North Aurora is as good as advertised. I hope people flock to them because their customer service is superb and they treat everyone as good as it gets. Thumbs Up to such a wonderful approach and culture. I highly recommend

Vidal was completely informed on the 2014 Sorrento we were looking at. He researched the area to find the Sorrento in the color I wanted with the options package I wanted. He and Terry went out of their way to secure that Sorrento and hold it for me while I was completing a vacation trip and had it ready for my inspection and finish the paper work when I returned. The minor scuff I had on the passenger was buffed out nicely and done with no hassle. We had no intention of stopping at Kia. We accidentally drove into the wrong parking lot. We decided to look and see. Five hours later we drove one home. I'd love to say the entire experience was about the car itself, but it was a package deal. We had a great sales person, Michael Smith. He treated us like we'd known each other for years. He made us comfortable and accommodated us when we requested a few test drives, not just one. He answered every question and even eased our concerns regarding financing. Everything about the experience was fantastic. Gerald Kia of North Aurora not only financed us but gave us a terrific deal on a lease. We drove our new Kia Optima home feeling like we were sitting in a luxury vehicle. What an amazing find. We drove home a beautiful luxury car without the luxury car sticker price. I have never had a better experience when buying a new car. Never did I feel like I was being taken advantage of. The sale was not pushed on me just asked if I had any questions about the car that I was looking at (soul). Some were "old schoo" high pressure sales people, other were not, but by and far, Randy Celaya was the easiest, and most fun person we had the chance to work with. We found Gerald Kia through the USAA auto buying program online. Within a short time of submitting our contact info, we received a call from our sales rep, Mike. He was friendly and courteous from the first call through the entire sales process. Our transaction was different in the USAA did the preliminary negotiating for us and we arrived at the dealership already having test driven the vehicle we wanted to purchase and were more or less ready to buy. Mike and his sales manager, Jim, worked with us on taking our over loved Ford off our hands and getting us into a new Kia quickly and efficiently. We had our 2 year old with us and even he was impressed with the service (free popcorn and cookies and a playground of cars to check out!) I would highly recommend both Mike and Gerald Kia to anyone.

From my very first interaction with this service manager after buying my Kia somewhere else he was rude. He was difficult about giving me a loaner vehicle after I told him I had no other means of getting around. When I go there for service he is never friendly or kind. I dont feel this dealership is very diligent in their care for their customers or cars. The first time I brought it there was after being towed because it wouldnt start. they couldnt find any issue with the push start or the brake, even though I went online and found a ton of info about this same issue. Finally within weeks the car died totally, I had to pay to replace the battery on a 2011 but the issues continue. This was when he was difficult about the loaner car and even had the gall to "school" me on what other dealers do. This is not something Im unfamilair with. Ive owned the gamet of cars from Jeeps to Mercedes. I have friends that work at dealers and I didnt need his attitude. Regardless of what he thought of me. I sent an email complaining, but it went to him as the manager of service, so I received no response. So now Ive been there 2 or 3 times for 1 issue. Now Im back there because I received a recall notice, I also developed an issue with the back seats sticking in the upright position. And now the car is idiling very high and the transdmission sometimes slams into gear. When I go in Im told there is also an update for the windows, since they also dont go up and down properly. Ok, so I wait for the car. After 1 hr he tells me they dont have the part for the back seats, despite having an appt, can I come back and he will give me a loaner? The recall was addressed I assume and the windows issue. Thats another thing, when you pick up the car, no one bothers to address the issues and tell you what was done with the car. You pay and leave silently. So I return yesteray to pick it up. 2 days after I left it. Again no one is there to go over the car with me. I pay the cashier for the oil change I added and leave. I get a block away and look in the back seat. The seat is still upright! I get out to try to move it, I cant. Its still stuck. I go back. The service advisor comes out and says he saw them fix it but he will call the guy up. Im told it needs lube and I advise Jaime there is some sort of a spill on the back leather seats, I know it wasnt there prior. He tries to remove it but cant. I use a wipe from my purse and remove it and leave. He doesnt adress the idiling issue and I see on the paperwork nothing was done because they drove it and it seemed fine. I drive half a block away and it happens again. Im so fed up, I dont go back. At other dealers Ive experienced friendly faces, a willingness to go the extra mile and an effort to provide good service. Not so here. I wouldnt recommend this dealer to anyone. Nor would I ever treat people the way this dealer seems to. We all work in the service industry and the customer is supposed to be king...remember?

It was an absolutely great experience buying a brand new Kia from Gerald Kia North Aurora. This was my first new car purchase, and I honestly would not have gone with Kia or this specific dealership had it not been for working with Jamil Ali. He was very patient answering all of my questions and not only that, but he took the time to answer both my parents questions and concerns as well. It is very comforting from a buyer's perspective to have a salesperson such as Jamil. His personality is very easy-going, which immediately put us at ease, yet he is very knowledgeable about what he is representing. He gave us honest answers and it really swung my decision to go with Kia. Jamil was great during the initial test drive and was very patient letting even my mom and dad drive the car. When he knew what color and what features I did or did not want, later that evening, just a few hours after we left, he had already called me telling me where he was able to locate the exact car I wanted and he had a plan set to get the vehicle the very next morning. Overall, this experience was 10x smoother than I expected to be, and the only reason for such a positive experience is because of Jamil Ali! Like I mentioned earlier, I honestly had Kia listed as a second or 3rd choice before I met Jamil, but after interacting with him, driving the car, and understanding your company's great warranty, it immediately became an easy decision to go with Kia. My parents and I are going to recommend Kia to all of our friends and family who live in the Chicagoland area to go to Gerald Kia North Aurora and if they want the best salesman, to ask for Jamil Ali.

The moment we walked on to the lot, the sales consultant Randy greeted us to find out what are needs were. We told him exactly what we wanted at the price we needed. He showed us several vehicles that fit our criteria. Randy saw that we were not overly excited about any of them and never tried to push us into purchasing any of them. Randy went above and beyond to find the car that was perfect for us at a price that was under our budget. Randy's manager talked with us and gave us advice outside of buying a car that was very useful to us. The car was cleaned even know it was after 11:00 pm befor we got all the paper work done. I did initial internet research to find Gerald Kia in N. Aurora. I was planning on leasing a 2013 Kia Soul Base and I was looking for a dealer that got exceptional reviews and a salesperson also with great reviews that was not a typical pushy sales type. BOY DID I FIND WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR! I first started speaking via email with Vidal Orduna. He couldn't have been nicer, more thorough, more upfront and more timely in his correspondence. I went to Gerald, some 45 miles from my home, since I got a really good feeling about them via email. It was the best decision I could have made. Vidal was so nice, low key, honest and upfront. He showed me the car I was looking for (the base model Soul) and ONLY when I asked he showed me the higher level Kia. He explained the cars differences inside and out and never pressured us into the more expensive model. I went back and forth with James Brown (sales manager) on pricing and he was patient with us and super kind!! He ended up giving us a great deal and I couldn't be happier. Next was on to the finance manager Kevin Healy. He was HI-LARIOUS! Super down to earth and explained everything in plain English. No tricks or extra fees thrown in after the initial quote. It was a flat fee experience with X amount down and a monthly payment. We were shopping for a car without any certain make or model in mind. We drove into Gerald Kia, North Aurora Auto Mall and were met by Randy Celaya. We told him that we were shopping and he proceeded to show us around. He was very knowledgeable about all the cars on the lot. What we like a lot about Randy was that he was not pushy. He proceeded to let us know about the cars and kept asking us what we needed on the car and what we wanted on the car and kept trying to find the prices and cars to fit both scenarios. We left for the day and to our surprise, that evening we had a phone message at our home from Randy saying he found a car that was exactly what we wanted. It had our wants and needs in one car. He worked with us on our trade-in and we came to a price that was acceptable to both us and Gerald Kia. We purchased a 2014 Sorento, Dark Cherry (quite beautiful) V6. To be honest, I was not looking forward to car shopping, but Randy made this experience quite easy and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Gerald Kia to family and friends and would want them to work with Randy. He is an asset to your organization.

Dave was really great to work with. He thoroughly explained all the features as we took our test drive. The car I ended up purchasing did not have a feature I wanted but they go it ordered and in the shop within the week. I'm bringing my car back later this week to have it installed and they are giving me a loaner car to use so I'm not stuck there for a couple of hours.I would definetely recommend this dealership and Dave. I was referred to Vidal by a past customer and he couldn't of given a better reference. Vidal was very helpful and knowledgeable about all of the cars features. He was not pushy and over the top as many car salesmen are, he respected when my wife and I needed time to talk. We searched high and low for the right Kia Sorento, we called more than a half dozen dealers and all they wanted was for you to come in no pricing no nothing....but the people at this dealership came through, they told us a price over the phone...with confirmations through email....they even had to get the car from another dealer...and had it there when we came in......spot on when we got there, no hidden fees, extra charges...nothing, we got an awesome deal and they beat the others hands down...pleasant sales people, no going to check with managers, no games....this is what car buying should be like. The only bad part was we were there 5 hours, but well worth it, they went through the entire car which took a lot of time and was always making sure we were ok with the vehicle and understanding all the bells and whistles. Will be a returning customer next year for our next vehicle.
