I bought my car new at Germain a little over a year ago. I just had my second scheduled oil change/maintenance appointment. I can't say enough about the sales and service team. I t is easy to schedule appointments online, the staff is always friendly and accommodating, and the waiting room is spacious and comfortable. I would recommend buying and servicing your vehicle here!

Mr Mosier greeted me as I entered the service area write up center. I had an appointment for an air bag recall and a needed oil change. Both were done in an efficient manner while I waited. The tech,I didn't catch his name, found bail in the side wall of one tire. Deemed unrepairable, I bought 2 new tires An unexpected expense but I can't imagine a better place to find a nail in a tire than in the dealership. They had new matching tires in stock. Even with this extra job to do I was driving my clean car out in about 2 hours. So much better experience here than at other dealerships where I've either waited all day or been told to bring it back another day. Thanks!

I had a great experience at Germain Ford, specifically in the service area. Bill the manager provided great service when my car broke down and had to be towed to Germain Ford service center. He went above and beyond to help me get me back home after being stranded hours from home. The entire service team was helpful and attentive. I would recommend Germain dealers to anyone!

I found a great deal on a certified pre-owned car at Germain Ford through cars.com. The buying process and customer service were awesome! They have a beautiful dealership and everyone was very friendly. They take great care of their used cars and offer free car washes (which is perfect because I just purchased a white car)! Since then I have purchased 3 new cars from Scott Cropper who I have been very pleased with in handling anything I needed. I had my F-150 in for 30K mile oil change and maintenance. My customer service rep, Dean, was very courteous and willing to accommodate my request to pick up my truck at a certain time. He kept me advised of some maintenance issues but never pushed me to include any additional services I decided weren't necessary. Overall a very pleasant experience.

I appreciate the fact that I can show up at 7:00 am with no appointment required for scheduled (by mileage) routine maintenance. Dan Cook had me signed in by 7:05 and I was on my way to work by 7:45. This flexibility and timeliness really helps keeping up with service within the context of a busy life.

I went in for an oil change. Standard at Germain they also check tires, brakes, engine, transmission. The always wash your car, too. I was in and out of there in less than an hour. Their waiting area is immaculate with water bottles, tea and coffee available, comfortable chairs, TV, and WIFi.

I needed my regular service...oil change, tire rotation etc. Also needed to get the fan switch looked at...it wasn't working. I was in and out in about 90 minutes. They have a comfortable waiting room...coffee and water so that time went fast. They explained what they needed to repair with the switch and fixed it in a timely manner. Service department personnel were friendly and helpful. It was nice to have my car back after it was run through the free car wash!

When requesting an appointment for our oil change and tire rotation, I was given my first choice of day and time. The service department took my vehicle in immediately; furthermore, the service rep and I recognized one another from previous visits. It's always good to be called by name. . I have bought 4 vehicles at Germain -Sawmill and each time the sales associates treated me with respect, no pressure etc. Scott Cropper and Brian Driver are two great people to deal with. Enjoyed my time with them both. I've bought 3 vehicles from Scott and hav e become good friends with him the last 8-10 years. I try to say hi when I'm there for service every few months. I just met Brian this purchase. He is also great to deal with and hope to become friends with him also in the future. I encourage people I know that are interested in a vehicle to stop by Germain Ford -Sawmill and look up Scott. I have also talked some with Lee when Scott wasn't around. He is another good associate. All in all I plan on buying all my vehicles at Germain Ford. Never get better treatment anywhere.

Professional in every aspect of the purchase process. Arranged for a vehicle test drive and was greeted by the salesperson warmly. Before the test drive (Ford Explorer Limited), all options and how to operate the controls was explained. Test drive was over 30 minutes with varying roads, sppeeds and traffic. After the test drive, again was shown how to operate the controls, informed of what a certified pre-owned coverage was, and walked around the vehicle. Decided to purchase and arranged a time for the next day. Arrived on time and had a short wait to meet with the F&I manager. During this time, was offered bottled water by two different salespeople who knew I had already was buying a car. Fantastic facility. Clean, brightly lit and spacious.

We loved working with Gary Haskins. We went in not sure what we were looking for exactly. I kind of had my heart set on a used Tahoe we had looked at the previous day. Gary showed us the SUV options that Ford has available. He helped talk us through all of our options. He let us test drive a few SUVs. At one point my husband had the new car manager and used car manager and a few other Germain employees all debating and helping us decide what works best for our family. We were there past closing time, and everyone was happy to help answer our questions. We decided on a new 2016 Ford Explorer Sport. They didn't have the color we wanted, so Gary searched the next day, located one, went himself to pick it up and brought it back for us. We absolutely love it. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my experience at Germain. I purchased a used 2014 Fusion. I noted when test driving it that it pulled to the left. I was assured that upon purchase it would be corrected. Justin Ellis was my great salesperson and he referred me to Bill Krohmer in the Quick Lane Service department. Bill has been just amazing!!!!! I purchased a "certified" used truck from the Germain lot. I encountered adequate but not exceptional service. 1) staff responsiveness was average. I felt I was passed around more than expected because this person or that person was not available. 2) I had my personal mechanic inspect the vehicle which was supposedly "thoroughly examined in order for it to be certified" and he found that the air conditioning did not work and he suspected that an alignment was in order due to the condition of the tires. Germain did address both issues but if it appeared to me that these two things had not been inspected as part of the certification process. I did purchase said vehicle because I could not find what I was looking for at any other central Ohio dealership.

I was getting a low tire pressure warning on my new Explorer. I took it in to the Quick Lane service and Bill Krohmer did a great job of checking the tire we thought was giving us a problem. They found that I had a nail near the outside tire rim and was not repairable. Unfortunately it had to be replaced. I was worried we were walking into the wrong place when we went to Germain Ford to look at used cars. In many car lots, the used car department is on the back of the lot in some cruddy building, but the salesmen at Germain treated us just the same as any other customer. Zack took his time showing us a number of different cars, pulling up car fax sheets and listening to us talk through the process. What I appreciated most about my buying experience is that Zack did not push us at all. He did not try to hard sell us; he just walked through the process right alongside us. We were happy to buy a car from Zack and from Germain. The closing of the deal was efficient and even pleasant as everyone was so nice. I can't possibly explain everything that happened during my experience because it takes a solid 35-45 min to tell the story so I will stick to the main points. I had a 2015 edge that had water damage from the recall. I had such bad customer service that instead of getting a brand new vehicle I decided to pursue the lemon law and not have to deal with Ford ever again. Unfortunately, my problems weren't even close to over. I had my car for 59 days when I turned it in on June 22. We got fed up and started the reaquisition process in early August. They finally got everything together (after a lot of persistence on my part) and we finally signed all the papers on September 11. A car payment was taken out of our account a week later even though I had called ford to ensure it wouldn't be taken since I didn't have a car and had signed over all rights and the title on the 11th. So new refund check had to be calculated to include that payment. We received paperwork in the mail with my husbands signature forged, a notary Already stamped on it (from a date we weren't present) and a third random date stamped on the paper. None of the dates were September 11. We still have not seen our refund.

Made inquiry on email about 2005 Mustang Convertible, Jerry Votaw answered my questions promptly. We set up a time and date to meet at the dealership, since it was a couple of days away, I ask Jerry to notify me if the vehicle sold, the evening before the appointment he let me know that the car in question was still available. We viewed the car, test drove it and made a deal. Part of the deal was for new tires on the Mustang, to my surprise when I went to pick up the car, it didn't have cheep tires but a set (4) of Kelly Springfield Sport series Tires. I've always wanted a convertible, at my age I'm not sure how practical it is, but my wife said go ahead and do it. Germain Ford and Jerry Votaw made it happen. I live 70 miles away from Germain Ford, but when I by my next Ford it will be from them.

There are very few activities that we dislike more than shopping for a new car, so we entered Germain Ford with an uneasy, but necessary feeling. We met Justin, who we grew to like in his role as salesman, because he was extremely knowledgeable about the various models that we wanted to check. There was no pressure nor rush for us to purchase a car and he took a great deal of time with us, covering every detail and never overlooking any question that we asked. Buying a new car was actually quite pleasant with Justin's assistance. I hope that we do not need another new car for many years, but if we do, we will return to Germain Ford and hope that Justin is still there to greet us.

I searched for several months to purchase a vehicle. Not having the best credit or a bank account for more than three months all my quotes had very high down payments and monthly payments. I thought my best luck would be going to a buy here pay here, or a dealer that was geared towards people in my financial situation. I was feeling defeated. I work right by Germain Ford in Dublin, so I stopped in on a Tuesday. Met with Jerry Votaw, he went sat with me for a few minutes, took my info and I was off, figuring one more try...well an hour later Jerry called me with a bank that would work with me, reasonable payments and by the next Monday I was in my new (used) Ford Focus. I love it. He went out of his way, calling from his cell when he wasn't in the office to keep me updated etc. I am very happy to be back on the road, as well as knowing Ford has my back if I have any troubles. Very disappointed that I purchased a brand new Ford Focus Titanium last week and was given every possible sales pitch on add-on custom mats, navigation systems, auto insurance, etc, but in the spirit of making a quick sale and clearing their lot of the excess 2014 Ford Focuses no one mentioned that the car had summer tires making it completely unsafe to drive in the winter. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way in the middle of rush hour traffic this morning that my tires had no traction and I was sliding uncontrollably on the snow covered roads. This might be something you would expect from a luxury sports car but not from a Focus off the lot. Now I'm stuck with a brand new car that is parked while it awaits winter tires. This is the second car I've purchased from Germain and there will not be a third.

November 6-8th I had the task of helping my 84 year old parents find the perfect car for their handy capped needs. My father's ability to get in and out of a car depends on a car that sat up high enough for him to easily slide in and out. Chris Andreas, our sales rep, understood how physically tiring (and daunting) the process of car shopping can be on an 84 year old couple. I would call him in advance and Chris would have the make and models running and warmed up prior to my parents arrival. My parents were able to knock out their researched list of the best rated sadans for the elderly (by testing them for comfort and ease) quickly. It was helpful to see side by side comparisons for trunk space and over all asthetics. A wheelchair is in their future and the Ford Taurus Limited hands down beat all other models for trunk space and ease for getting in and out of the vehicle. Chris' preparedness made us want to keep coming back. Moreover, his patience in helping my parents learn about the new technology of the Ford Smart touch was crucial in closing the sale. My parents have never owned a computer so the women that went over the Navegatiion system and Ford Smart Touch gets an A+ patience too! Overall the experience was great and Chris continued to followup with our questions long after we closed the sale. He is only a phone call away and quick to get back with you! Top notch service all the way around! My parents are very pleased with the price and service. The Ford Taurus Limited Edition has made driving feel like a luxurious experience. This will be the last car they buy ....and Chris made this process into one of those cherished memories!

Last year, I decided to get rid of my hand-me-down car and finally look at the Ford Fusion2014, which I fell in love with the very first time I saw a commercial for it. Being on a very tight budget, I was concerned about my ability to financially afford a new car. Chris was extremely respectful of my budget and helped me figure out what features I could have while staying within my price range. He then very quickly completed his research and found the exact car I was looking for in a matter of days! I was a bit frazzled from all of the excitement of signing for my first lease, so when Chris walked me through how to use its features, it went in one ear and out the other. He was more than willing to meet with me multiple times to help me figure out how to sync my phone and figure out how to use all of the other great things the car can do. After one year into my lease, I would say my biggest regret was not getting a remote car starter. When I mentioned this to him, he again went out of his way to help me find a way to get a remote starter that I was able to afford. He has consistently been helpful throughout the first year of my lease and I am extremely gratefull to have had Chris as my dealer. Chris with Germain was the only person who stayed in contact with me multiple times a day. He went above and beyond what I could have imagined. My wife and I leased an EDGE a month ago from Chris and had such a great experience I decided to come back and trade in my Beloved Jetta on a new Fusion. When we walked into Germain Ford last April we were truly just looking and had just begun our quest for a new car. From the used car person we met in the parking lot on to our sales person Lee Green everyone treated us with respect and courtesy. As a woman and the primary driver he directed information to me. This is refreshing experience because in the past that has not always been the case. The long and short of it we came to look and left the same day having purchased a new car. Lee is the consummate professional and the entire process was painless. I called just this past week with a question and within 24 hours Lee had gotten me an answer. I was solicited for an update for my GPS by email including a Ford logo and while Lee knew nothing about it, when he found out who it was and promised to get to the bottom of it. This is just one example of great follow through.Rod Moon is also a marvel. Whatever my question he finds the answer and even if it's something I should have known never makes me feel foolish for asking.The service department not only graciously washes my car they make you feel as it is their pleasure to do so.I just love the dealership and the people in it. As you can tell by the title, my whole family goes to this dealership. It was my brother who originally bought me here about 10 years ago. Since then, I have had 3 cars, all of them the Ford Focus. My first one was used, and the other 2 were new. When I need service, I will not go anywhere else. I trust these guys totally and when I leave, my car is in better working order, they go above and beyond normal procedures. I have bought two vehicles from Germain in the past 3 years, a '12 Edge and a '13 F150. The buying experience was great and the only reason I decided to go back to the dealership for the second vehicle was because of the salesman. The edge I bought had a coolant leak that was faily excessive, it took the dealership 4 times to actually fix the issue and only fixed it because I ended up trouble shooting myself and showing them the place that it was leaking. Iny trouble shooting I had to take off the plastic skid plate to look at the motor from under the car, when I removed the plastic skid plate there was a muffin sitting on the top side (motor side) of the skid plate! Finding this muffin told me that either... one of the techs at Germain thought I was funny to mess with a customers car or that it was somehow there before my purchasing the edge and the techs never took the time to even remove the plate to properly troubleshoot the leaking coolant issue. Either way it was an amazing failure on the service department. When I brought this to the attention of the service adviser he didn't seem to care either way. In the end the coolant issue was never fully fixed and I traded in the vehicle on my current F150 so someone out there has a '12 edge turbo with a slow coolant leak thanks to Germain service. My latest issue is a musty/moldy smell from my ac vents every time in turn on my ac. This is an issue all over the F150 forums (which I brought to the attention of the service adviser) typically being caused by a blocked evaperator vent hose or a leak in the ac/condenser unit on the pentium. To make a long story shorter after looking at my truck I was told by the service adviser that the tech could not smell anything... Of course this amazed me because the smell is hugely obvious to anyone that has use of their sense of smell. After hearing this excuse I let my salesman know to give them a chance to re-evaluate their diagnosis. The next day I was told they had contacted ford and "deoderized" the system. As soon as I got into my car and turned on my ac the smell was imediatly present and again obvious, since Germain did not take the time to trouble shoot the smell and decided to take the short cut and just spray some "cover-up" in the vents the smell is still there in all it's glory. Maybe I should have just given my truck right back to the service department after realizing the smell was unchanged but at this point I would rather just drive much further and find another ford dealership that has techs and a service department that cares enough to fix things correctly... Too bad since Germain is about a half mile from my home. I would strongly advise anyone looking for service to go anywhere but Germain Ford, they have failed for me consistently. By the way my truck had less than 13k miles, I am a non smoker and keep the truck very clean inside and out... There should be zero smell except "new car" smell.

First off, I'm not from the area. I live in Northern New Jersey, just outside of NYC. In this area, Ford dealerships are very outdated and un-friendly places. I walked into Germain Ford because I wanted to test out the Focus ST. I had spoken on the phone with a Kris Crawford but ended up dealing with a man by the name of Rex. Both men were humble and interested in conversation, neither pushing a sale and instead hooked me in based on service. I test drove the car (which I now own) and loved it, but the thing that stood out the most was the fact that it didn't feel like I was dealing with a Ford dealership. I felt like I was dealing with an upscale retailer that is not commissions or sale based, rather service based. Everyone at the dealer is professional and friendly, offering advice and knowledge on anything you ask. The sale itself was bumpy but that was because my bank had complications- nevertheless, the staff remained professional and even opened early to facilitate a smooth transaction. Due to the out of state registry and other complications, the process was a sure fire mess, but Germain ensured that all documentation and necessary processes were taken care of to make my job easy.Now that I own the vehicle, I only service it 600 miles from home at Germain. The department facilities are clean, new, up-to-date, friendly (Lori was my advisor), informative, smooth and quick. Communication and confirmation is a constant reminder that this dealership CARES about it's customers at every level. I ONLY recommend Germain because it's the only dealership I trust. I've dealt with VW, Mercedes, Jaguar, Ford (in NJ), Maserati, Audi and Porsche... none of them compare to the quality and service I received by Rex, Kris and the rest at Germain. I seldom give 5 star reviews, and if I could, I would give them 10.

Just drove off the lot with my first brand new car. Ken in sales was so nice and not pushy at all. He understood that I needed to work through email and phone calls. He got me the car that I wanted (more than the car I wanted) at a great price. Bill handled my loan and got us in and out so fast. Seriously, I was in his office for maybe a half an hour. The car (2014 Escape) is amazing and I am so happy with the car and the service we received as well as how we were treated. We didn't even mind that their lot is still under construction. Awesome!

I drove over an hour to test drive a truck. At first when I arrived I was treated great. But then when i ran numbers with the sales guy and they were not to where I needed them to be, he just blew me off and did not do a thing to work with me. I thought i would give it another try and emailed the salesman. He responded back and asked if he could look for other trucks for me. I responded back two times to him and haven't heard a single thing from him. That was over a week ago. So needless to say I'm done.

Be Aware !!! You will get one price and/or interest rate quoted to make you visit their store. However when you get there it will be something different. I was quoted one interest rate on the phone and it was almost 1 whole percent increase when I got there. I walked out to "think about" their offer. They sent a text message to my cell with another price, We agreed and I went back. When I got there AGAIN the price was different. I will never go back and would advise EVERYONE to be very cautious when dealing with these people. Im 54 years and have bought several cars in my time. This was the worst experience I have ever had. I did buy the car cause it was what we were looking for. However I would not go back again

Lee Green was by far the best car salesman that I have ever had the privilege of working with. He was very patient with us and worked hard to find the F-150 that best suited us. Lee is very genuine, honest and showed great integrity. Chad the sales manager was also very helpful and easy to work with. We breezed right through the finance office when it was time to close the deal. I'm sorry I don't recall our finance guys name, but he was very organize and efficient. This dealership was a breath of fresh air compared to previous experiences at other dealerships. No high pressure sales and no feeling like you just walked into a shark tank. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how easy buying our car was. We dealt with Zack and he was the best salesman we could have hoped for. He was honest and not pushy. We did buy the car but felt it was our decision without pressure from anyone. We found the car on autotrader.com and the information listed was true to what the car was in reality. We never had that sleazy car dealership feeling from anyone we dealt with. It honestly felt like they were there to assist us in making a purchase that was right for us, not pushing a car we didn't need or want. The car itself is in great shape and drives amazing. I had to wait for my oil change (as opposed to dropping off my car and returning to pick it up) and I was in and out in just over an hour. There were many cars there and I felt like I was greeted promptly and my service was completed as soon as possible since I was waiting.

Would drive over and hour to see the guy who i bought my car from. The building is terrible just for now but when it is done it will look nice. Tasha and Ralph attempted to talk care of me, but I made the mistake of going to look at a vehicle on a Tuesday night after work. This apparently is not the time to buy a car here. I heard customers being yelled at, I saw people waiting around, and even though I had my title in my pocket, I was a "Buyer".Just a disappointing experience. There are far too many dealerships out there to waste your time here. They are a large dealership so the feeling you get waking in is that the customer is expendable. I am looking for a used truck, but I am not desperate, I would rather wait than deal with them again. I could write more, but I have wasted enough time with this dealership. If you are reading this, look at another dealership, you will get better treatment and a better deal.

There was a miscommunication about the number of free oil changes that I was supposed to receive. I was only supposed to receive one, but they gave me the number of oil changes that I thought that I was supposed to get for free. They were very friendly despite this miscommunication. The service was fast. Micheal was very nice and joked a lot in a good way. They also went out of their way to wash my car when they did not need to. Always a good experience when I bring my car in.

I have had great experiences with the service department. Lori Arveson does what she says she is going to do and keeps the process moving. Every service department should have a Lori!!!!

I have visited this Service Department Twice in the past 60 Days for different reasons, not related. In both instances, one scheduled, and one a drop in for routine service, the staff at this department made me feel that I was the only customer in the place. Customer relations were impeccable, and service was completed quickly, professionally and thoroughly. I can only say that if service was the only consideration for doing business with Germain Ford, your sales staff should be singing their praises to every customer in the show room. They rank with the best in the country, but I can say that of all the Germain Dealerships and Service Departments my family has done business with in the past in the Columbus area.

I was looking for a new vehicle and went to Germain Ford on Sawmill on the advice of my sister and brother-in-law. They highly recommended Scott Cropper in sales and Dan Cook in service, so I visited the dealership and was also impressed. I bought a Ford Escape at the dealership, and have it serviced there, even though I don't live in Columbus. I know my Escape will be well taken care of at Germain.

Purchased a used Ford Truck. Great truck at a fantastic price (and I've been looking for months!) Kris knows what he's talking about, does not pretend to know what he does not know, he is very personable, honest, and very low/no pressure! He was prompt and did what he said he'd do - when he said he'd do it. Look him up for sure - you'll be in good hands.Overall I have to say that this was the easiest, most stress free, lowest pressure car/truck buying experience ever for me. I really (really) loved not having to endure a long intimidating "sell" on the extras like extended service, gap coverage, and the other stuff that dealers always try to up-sell to you. They presented their case and the benefits of the products they offered but at no point did I feel like I was being pressured. I really loved that part most of all.

I was a first time car buyer. I decided I wanted a Ford because I come from a Ford family. At first, I went to another dealer. Upon arriving on the lot, the salesman told me that since I was a first time buyer, they work backwards. Before I could pick out a car, I needed to get approved for a loan. After my loan was approved, they said this is what we can put you in. It was almost as if they acted like they were doing me a favor by showing me cars. Needless to say, I left.The next day, I brought my mother to Germain Ford. When we walked in, Zack was there and he greeted us right away. He then asked, "What can I do for you today?" I explained to him that I wanted a new Fiesta. He asked, "what if I could put you in a used one, that is considered new for a lot less?" I asked him to show me what he had. In a couple minutes, my mom and I were test driving a Fiesta and we loved it. After coming back to the lot, Zack said, "ok, let's make this happen." He gave us the car I was looking at purchasing to take to lunch. When we came back, Zack and Shane had good news. My loan had been approved.Germain gave me a few extras that I wasn't offered at the other lot. An example would be a warranty, first oil change free, and they are fixing a couple of paint chips. Zack and Shane were both amazingly nice and made my stressful first car purchase easier than I thought it would be. Shane even told me of some of the advantages of being a teacher and buying a car and reassured me that this is the car I needed. They listened to me and helped put me in the car I wanted. I would definitely recommend this dealership!

Dear Germain Ford,A few weeks ago I wasn't expecting my car to stall on the freeway especially after I had just taken it to the mechanic. I came to Germain looking for a good deal on a used German car. I had been driving automatic for years and wasn't intending to purchase a stick shift at all. Never the less I wanted to give it a shot and it turned out to be the best decision ever. I love driving manual now and will never go back. Jerry had more confidence in me than I did in driving the car which made the whole process of learning that much more fun. Shane really went the extra mile to work within my budget and find a loan that was reasonable. When one of the tires blew from a puncture the day I purchased the car, they assumed full responsibility given the surrounding construction and replaced all the tires. Jerry even made sure the tank was full and the car was clean before I left. This is the first car I've bought from a dealer and it's going to be the experience by which I will measure all my future ones with buying cars. The standards of service and customer care here are absolutely outstanding. Germain gets 5 stars across the board. Thank you so much for everything.

Purchased a 2013 Ford Focus SE on 3/12/2013. I was looking for a car like the Honda CIvic but with a hatchback, and the Focus filled that need nicely. My salesperson, Zack Manning, was outstanding, giving me all of the information I needed in a professional manner. (Come on, Germain, how about putting Zack's picture on DealerRating?) I dealt with a number of salespeople at many dealers in looking for a new car, and Zack was the best in every way.The deal was fair and took very little time. I got a fair value for my trade-in. I could probably saved a couple of hundred dollars driving between Ford dealers, but the professional and friendly attitude at Germain locked up the deal.I would also like to thank CJ for going over every aspect of the car with me. With the complicated electronics in new cars, every dealer should have someone like CJ to go over ALL of the details. He did a better job of explaining things than the poorly written Ford Manual.

I recently purchased a 2010 Ford F150 Lariat and posted a comment about Shane and Zach. Three days after that purchase I returned (Monday 11 March) to the service department to have my keyless entry and a key fob reset/programmed. I was greeted by Jeff Hoover upon entering the service area. Within just a couple minutes my truck was taken to have the work completed. I dont believe I was in the dealership more than 30 minutes and my service was complete. While waiting that short time Jeff and I began talking as he too is a Ford truck owner. We discussed everything from frequency of oil changes, tire rotations, and replacement tires that we each favored on our trucks. Though Jeff had work to complete he still continued to talk with me while doing so. This is the service everyone desires but do not always receive. Thanks Jeff!

This was a very friendly transaction. I laid low for 6 weeks after my first visit and was not pestered with phone calls. When I decided to buy, I got the price I was looking for without any haggling/ hassles typical dealer games, no high pressure. I have visited this dealership 5 times in the last 5 years and have not purchased a vehicle until today. On my previous visits for some reason I just couldnt come to an agreement over a vehicle. I work just down the street and decided to give it one more try. The experience I had today was 180 degrees from my previous visits. I was greeted by Zack Manning immediately and this was one of the best experiences I have "EVER" had at any dealership. I explained what I wanted with both my trade in and purchase. We test drove the vehicle I researched on line and I loved it. What a clean vehicle. After the test drive Zach took my information and introduced me to Shane Kitts. Another fantastic experience. You see I didnt have to repeat anything because Zach had covered every piece of information I gave him with Shane. Within minutes we agreed upon a deal. This was clearly a no hassle, no stress environment that every car buyer wishes for. As I was preparing to depart in my 2010 F150 Lariat I asked for additional business cards from both Zach and Shane to give to my co-workers. If you ever want great customer service when purchasing a pre-owned vehicle you "MUST" stop by Germaine Ford and ask for Zach Manning and Shane Kitts. My husband and I experienced electrical problems with our Ford Ranger while driving from Toronto to Florida. We stopped in to Germain Ford of Columbus Ohio as we had stayed in a town nearby the night before. Prior to arriving at the dealership, we had resigned ourselves to the possibility of a one or two day delay in our trip while waiting for an appointment with the dealer, servicing, etc. Dean Mosier and Jim Scott treated us like royalty. They were able to look into the truck's problem almost immediately, even though we literally showed up at the dealership unannounced and without an appointment. Within two hours, Jim had identified and fixed the problem. Then he took the time to explain what had caused the problem and even wrote out a detailed report that we could take back to our dealership in Canada. Both of these gentlemen went out of their way to make sure that our trip was delayed as little as possible. We were so impressed with their professional and caring attitude. Further, every one that we met in the service department was friendly and quite sympathetic of the plight of two cold Canadian seniors just trying to get to the warmth of a Florida winter. Both my husband and I would highly recommend servicing of Ford products by this dedicated team.

Ryan was very informative and knowledgeable about our New Ford F-150. We were debating between a Silverado and F-150 . f it wouldn't have been for Ryan we might not have purchased the F-150. He was very straightforward about Ford's inability to be competitive on price. Ryan's approach was very effective and worked with his management to present an acceptable deal even though it ended up still costing more than the Silverado. The best part is that the entire process took less than an hour. I would recommend Ryan to anyone looking for a vehicle.

She set an appointment up with Kris Rivers. Kris was very personable and seemed to genuinely enjoy his job. He took his time to answer all of the questions we had in regards to purchasing my new (to me) vehicle. I went in there knowing exactly which vehicle I wanted and he did not try to talk me into something I didnt want. We brought our 9 year old son with us and he treated him like he knew him all of his life. It was hard to keep him calm during the whole process but Kris helped keep him occupied and talked to him a lot. The financing portion was a piece of cake too! The gentleman in finance was very easy to work with and once the paperwork was done he got us out of there fairly quickly. I would HIGHLY recommend going to Germain to purchase a vehicle to anyone! We were looking for a first car for my daughter to purchase. We ran across a 2007 Ford Fusion SE at Germain Ford on cars.com. We called them and talked with Lee Green. He was very friendly and since they would be closing soon on Saturday, we let him know that we were very interested in the car and we stopped out to look at it on Sunday, even though they were closed.. After seeing the car, we called Lee to let him know that we would be out first thing Monday morning for a test drive. Everyone at the dealership was so very nice. I had been searching for a 2013 Fusion SE with fairly specific amenities, for over two months. I had been working with a smaller dealership, who was working hard to find me what I wanted. I was willing to wait, but at this point I needed the car asap. We contacted Germain Ford, who was right on it. We dealth with Ryan Hauge, who was extremely prompt in responding to our inquiries and concerns. They had the car I wanted within 24 hours of requesting it. The buying process was painless, no high pressure haggling. Ryan was upfront and honest, as was the Financing manager. I've only had the car a few days, but I am extremely happy with both it and Germain as a company. I would highly recommend Ryan, but everyone was friendly as well. The 13 Fusion is an awesome car, offering features you'd be lucky to find on a 40k vehicle. A no-lose situation.

I visited this dealer on the weekend and then went home to think it over. I was very specific about the type of vehicle I was interested in. When that particular car sold, they offered a completely different model and style car as tho that would be a compromise.I was disappointed that the salesman did not listen when I said I was set on a particular vehicle and wanted to sell me anything on the lot because my preferred vehicle was sold.

When we went to Germain Ford last month we were desperate. We had bought a 2003 Ford Crown Vic from another company closer to home the year before and the car turned out to be a real money pit. We spoke with dealer Zack Manning and told him about our problem and our need for a working vehicle. Zack turned out to be a lifesaver because not only did he give us a great trade-in value for the Vic he also gave us a sweet deal on a 2005 Ford Taurus wagon. Ryan did a great job, he was responsive, quick, and honest. I typically don't enjoy buying a new car as I am apprehensive about the experience; Ryan made the whole thing very easy and was honest about my options without being pushy. I bought a Ford Fiesta, but I qualified for a much pricier vehicle, Ryan never once tried to push me in another direction working with me on finding the right vehicle, taking his day off to make a call to have it delivered and then following up with me. I thought everything went fine until I paid the car off and had a prepayment penalty and Ron the finance told me there wasn't a prepayment penalty. So, me being the trust worthy person I am I believed him and signed the contract without reading. Because of Ron, I will never believe any BS that comes out of any employee of a dealership. We had a great experience here. We visited three different dealers over the weekend and they all wanted to play the negotiation game and did not look at my trade-in properly. Germain Ford began by appraising my car properly and then came to us with their final numbers. We asked if they could change one thing and they could not because they would lose too much money. I am in a three year lease which I will be going back to them for my next car. Significant other lease is up in six months and she will be going there as well.

Ryan meet us in the parking lot after we had stopped by to look at Explorer's. We had been looking for about five months, had an Explorer ordered from another dealer but due to their lack of commitment to us we did not get it. My Wife and I had decided to buy a 2011 Lincoln MKX from Bob Boyd Lincoln down the street but when we got there they acted like they really didn't need our business. Ryan was no pressure sales person. Quoted us a reasonable price, we had done our homework so we knew what we wanted to pay, was polite, considerate and seemed interested in our needs. Germain also was the only dealer who would even start off close to a fair price for our trade. We got more than what we needed but we are very happy we did buy the vehicle from Ryan at Germain Ford. My buying experience at Germain Ford was very positive. My saleperson John Carl was topnotch. He was low pressure and very knowledgable and got me into the vehicle that was right for my needs. I test drove several models. Even after the sale it has been several months and John has been courteous to keep in touch to make sure I was satisfied and offered any services if needed, including just dropping the vehicle by for a carwash. I purchased a vehicle at Germain Ford early in 2011, but was not happy with the overall experience. I expressed my concerns in a Ford survey at that time. I did not receive a response from Ford or Germain.Nevertheless, I went back to Germain Ford recently to again purchase a new vehicle. This dealership is very close to my home and, therefore, is the obvious choice.The salesman at Germain was friendly and knowledgeable. However, the vehicle I wanted was not in stock. I asked if they could "search" for the vehicle I wanted, but was told no. I did some research on the internet and located the vehicle I wanted at another Ford dealership 40 miles from my home. This was the closest dealership that had the vehicle I wanted. It was a completely different experience at the other dealership. The salesman and sales manager seemed very interested in making me a happy customer. The people there, overall, were much friendlier and were interested in me. There were several other customers in the showroom while I was there and it seemed that all of them were happy.I would have much preferred to purchase the vehicle from a dealership closer to home. However, the difference in the quality of customer service was striking.

In reply to the attached email:This has to be about the most unprofessional dealership I have EVER had the misfortune to do business with.Went in for my SECOND Ford Mustang as I had purchased my first from them in 2007. The first was a car that was just something off the lot and this time I really wanted to order the car of my dreams instead of just settling. HUGE MISTAKE ON MY PART. I was promised a build and ship time of about 6-8 weeks and promised regular updates via phone and email up until the car arrived at the dealership. Now I fully understand things can happen but I was absolutely floored that the dealership took my deposit and would not provide ANY information about the whereabouts or status of said order for over 8 weeks despite repeated calls and contacts. The most I ever got was the repeated "I'll have my supervisor call ya' tomorrow man, promise!" and of course they never did.Finally, I was reduced to driving back to the dealership myself to request a refund on the deposit as I couldn't tell if they even submitted the order to Ford. Only upon arrival was sales agent (miraculously) able to tell me the car was indeed on order and due to arrive in about a week. I informed him at that time I was STILL (albeit annoyed)interested in the car and would still like for them to call me when it arrived.Order placed and deposit was taken April 1st...refund requested and received May 20th....it's mid-OCTOBER...and I'm still waiting for a call. Right now my husband is driving a new Ford Fusion; my oldest son has a used Escape; my youngest son has a Ford Ranger; and I have a new Escape... all purchased from Germain via Lee Green. I began dealing with Lee back when it was Dick Ruhl Ford, and I can't even remember exactly how many cars we have purchased from him over the years. I know he put me in my favorite car EVER... a black-on-black souped-up T-Bird.Over the years Lee has always treated us like royalty, but also like an old friend or family member. I trust him completely, which is quite a statement regarding car salesmen!We've also received excellent treatment from Dean Mosier in the service department. Again, it feels as much like a friendship as it does a business transaction. Every time I have needed to leave my car overnight or for multiple days Dean makes sure I have a complimentary rental car so that I am not stranded. The last time I went in for service there was talk that this policy might end. I certainly hope not. As many cars as we've purchased from them, as well as extended warranties, it just feels "RIGHT" that Germain ensures 100% satisfaction and makes us feel "special". It's a big part of why we keep returning to this dealership!I do miss Dick Ruhl though. Now I don't even know who runs the place. That's my only complaint.

Three the quality of his work is very good its fast and he will do what he said he would do. I needed to have my ignition switch repaired and oil change performed on my 2006 f-150 I just purchased a few months ago. So I came to the dealership to get my car serviced and they were booked. I made an appointment for a couple days later.after setting my appointmment I called my salesmen lee green to inquire about getting a lonaer. He told me no problem and gave me a name and number of a gentleman to call in the service deptartment. So I called to arrange for loaner and it didn't seem like this gentlemen was gonna get me one. I called mr. Green back and told him. He said if they couldn't get me a loaner he would take me home himself. So I arrive on day of my appointment and meet ron moon. Tell him what's going on with my truck. He ask if I just bought it and I inform him I did. He gives me oil change I needed for free. A$ 50.00 service for free because he said it should of been done before I bought truck. Also back to loaner. The service guy was unable to get me one. With out me even asking lee had already arranged to for a loaner car to be there for me and charged it to his personal credit card. I couldn't have been more shocked. Its service like that will keep me a germain customer for life.

He made sure we were taken care of and that we left in something that was not only affordable but would work for our family. He knows his work and what he does, not like your typical salesman. Ryan was very informative and knowledgeable about our New Ford Edge. We were debating between the Edge and Acura MDX. If it wouldn't have been for Ryan we might not have purchased our Edge. We rated Germain Ford of Columbus, and Lee in particular, as "5-Great" on all applicable counts. Lee was extremely friendly and cooperative. He took time to explore the vehicle with us and, though we had not intended to buy on the first visit, we were made comfortable enough by Lee and the dealership that we bought it that day.We had several questions and Lee never made us feel like we were being difficult or foolish, he checked into everything we asked about.I visited the dealership again when I was in the area (we live in north Dayton) to investigate future purchases because I like Germain's dealership more than the dealerships that we have left in the Dayton area. The price was right at what we considered correct and fair through our research as we looked for this vehicle (15-passenger E-350) for a few months to replace our older one.

A month ago I bought my F-150 at Germain from Ben Westbrook. Despite being there an hour past closing time Ben remained patient and helpful. He even came outside afterward to show me how everything worked in the truck. Yesterday I stopped in because my phone wasn't syncing with the truck anymore. Ben came outside, fixed the problem and spent 20 minutes showing me how to fix it myself! The dedication to customer service these guys show is incredible! I doubt I'll ever buy anywhere else. My husband and I drove 80 miles to visit Germain Ford. We heard such positive things and felt it was worth the drive. We were greeted with a smile and a handshake from Ryan Hauger. I have purchased two vehicles from Germain both with GREAT success. The first time I bought a 2003 Ford Ranger which was in great shape and I paid well under retail price. I worked with a salesman named Ryan who was knowledgeable, courteous, and I never one time felt pressured into anything. Nothing like the sleazy sales people at JIM KEIM FORD whom I also dealt with around the same time. After several months I needed more power than my Ranger had to offer so again I went to Germain and had the pleasure of working with Ryan. I ended up with a Chevy 1500 that was in great shape. Again I payed well under retail value and Ryan pulled some strings and got me $500.00 OVER the trade in value on my Ranger. The Chevy however didn't have any floor mats in it which made me very disappointed. Ryan saw that I was upset and offered to pay for my floor mats out of his commission. Have you ever heard of such a thing? A salesman whom genuinely cares about his customers. I would recommend this dealership to any friend, family member or stranger. I will never buy from anyone else.

Last year my family and i were looking for a used suv that was larger and would meet our needs better than our equinox. After.months of searching, dealing with typical car salesmen, we finally happened upon Germain Ford. Ryan greeted us with knowledge and experience and an unfound friendliness we have not yet. I visited Germain in late 2010 to purchase a new vehicle. I had in mind a general idea of what kind of vehicle I wanted. Ryan helped me see the differences in the few vehicles that I had previously chosen and narrow down my decision to one vehicle. The Service Department went above and beyond my hopes. I was thrilled.at the care and concern my Service Rep. Had to make certain that everything was taken care of. He had numerous conversations with Ford over my recalled gas tank straps and the damage the failed straps did to my gas tank. When I saw the Sport Trac truck of my dreams, I swooped in to purchase it from Germain. Expecting a hard sales push given I'm a woman, I was delighted by the attitude and friendliness of the associates I dealt with. I ended up purchasing the vehicle.I called to schedule an appointment for service, and while I initially experienced very friendly voices on the other end of the phone, my initial experience was challenging and frustrating in terms of having the truck's oil changed along with some touch-up work as part of the agreement when I purchased the truck. I struggled to find someone who could help me work through the situation given my salesperson had left the business. Thank goodness for Ralph. With pinpoint attention to detail, he personally apologized for the glitch I had experienced and personally stepped forward to take care of my issue. Upon my arrival for service, you would think I was a VIP. Dean opened my door to greet me and it felt as if they (he and Ralph) were falling all over me to step-up the customer service given my initial frustration.As I waited in their lounge with convenient access to wireless for my laptop, I noticed that the stellar customer service I was receiving was that others in the lounge waiting on their cars were receiving as well. It felt good to know that the customer service was genuine for everyone, and not just to make up for a rocky start.When they took me back to see my truck, I was shocked. There it sat...beautifully washed, waxed, and the work handled to perfection. Donny personally oversaw every detail and that truck...well, I can only say that when I got to work every guy in the parking lot was drooling...not over me, but over my Sport Trac.Thank you Germain. You've won me as a customer. Not only because you did the right thing to fix an issue I was having, but because you allowed yourself to be accountable and not make excuses. My old car was in need of a variety of expensive car repairs and I had had enough. I needed to buy another car in a hurry and was kinda stressed out. I was in the market for a Nissan or maybe a Honda, but definitely NOT a Ford. I looked all over and wasn't finding what I was looking for, especially for the money. I have a 2005 F150 Supercrew, it just turned 100,000 miles and is out of warrently...in the last 2 months I have had 2 fuel injectiors go bad...due to timeing and location I had to take it to a repair shop other than Ford...upon finding out that the injectors were covered up to 120,000 mile...I called Ford's customer service line who told me to contact a dealer ...not sure if they would help since I had it repaired at a shop other than Ford.....I called Germain's Service manager, Ralph Cumston on Wednesday last week and received an answer today that Ford was going to refund me the cost of the 2 bad fuel injectors...I was very please with his helpful attitude and his willingness to assist.that is one of the main reasons that my family have purchased Ford's since the 1950's thank you for your help.....

I was in the market for a use car, and being a lover of Fords, checked out Germain. Started out working with Mary, who was extremely polite and kind, despite my lousy credit. She introduced me to Robin, who worked VERY hard to secure me a loan for my Focus. Jason who helped me get the financing was very friendly and helpful, although the first night we started working on it was I was left in a featureless room for almost three hours and was only checked in on twice, but that's okay since I'd rather they be working to help me, than spending time holding my hand. My Focus is in decent shape, although the a CV joint appears to be going bad, and the brakes cause a repetitive squeak. Overall I'm very satisfied with my experience. While the car may have some issues, the sales staff at Germain Ford are extremely pleasant to work with, and I look forward to working with them again in the future!

Went out today, looking for a new car and expecting to shop around at 3 (at a minimum) dealers. Upon arrival the service was great. Found the perfect car right away, and since the service given to us by Rex Osborne was so prompt, informative, and friendly, decided to look no further. They went out of their way to make sure I received the best financing option and I never felt pushed into anything. It was an enjoyable experience and day, and I left the lot with a brand new Fusion. I purchased a brand new Focus at Germain and returned to have some items fixed and the service manager was rude and refused to take care of my issue. This is a brand new car with only 6000 miles on it and the selling dealer refuses to take care of the customer. Service after the sale is the worst and I guess it will require a complaint with the BBB to get the problem resolved.I am very disappointed with the way I was treated and I will be cancelling my service contract with Germain and not returning to that dealership for anything in the future.

Kris was knowledgeable, very friendly, helpful and did not pressure us at all while we were looking. Since we were concerned about how the vehicle would handle in the snow, Kris took us to an open parking lot that had not been plowed so we could test drive it in the snow. The vehicle handled great. After review of repairs required for existing car, Lori gave some good advice concerning disposal of auto which was to my advantage.Brian was cordial and professional at all times. He is knowledgeable, interested in providing customers with answers and also is willing to spend the required time to complete the purchase and delivery of the auto.Overall, it was a very positive experience and I would recommend these two to anyonelooking for a car.

Mr. Osborne helped me find the car I wanted, took time to answer all my questions, and helped my insurance agent to get questions answered. The finance man was courteous and cooperative as well. I think Germain gave me a lower trade-in value than I would have gotten at their nearest competitor, but the customer service I received was far better than I have received at any other car dealership in at least 5 years.

Robin and Jason were very patient. Jason worked very hard to find the best loan. It was a very cold day and everyone in the used car building was very friendly and even giving up their office. I appreciate the way we were treated. All auto dealerships should follow theirexample.

I had an excellent experience from start to finish with Germain Ford. I started my search online and found several truck models with features I was looking for on their lot. I was able to do all my initial evaluation online which was very helpful given the dealership was closed. Robin Thomas contacted me by email first thing Monday morning before the dealership was open. We had an appointment scheduled later that morning. Given my work and travel schedule, it was very helpful to have a scheduled appointment so I could get in and out quickly.Robin allowed me to test drive several trucks throughout the day and eventually I found one on the lot that I liked.The trade-in and pricing process was very straight forward and I feel I received a very good deal given the promotions for year end, trade-in, and discount plan I was eligible for.The was one of the best car buying experiences I have had; (12 vehicles over the last 25 years).I would highly recommend Germain Ford, their online process... and especially Robin Thomas.

For five years my wife has wanted the new Mustang body style. I told her that one day we would get her one. She told me that it had to be Ice Blue and had to have side louvers. So this year I thought it was time to make that happen. I started looking through Autotrader.com. I found the exact car she was lookinbg for, a powder blue 2006 Mustang. I bought the car a month ago for a suprise Christmas gift for my wife. TRACEY WILSON and his staff at Germain Fords used cars, did an outstanding job of cleaning, waxing, polishing, and painting and adding the side louvers the exact color of the car. On a special note KARL in the finance department also was very friendly and helpful. They had it setting in the new car show room with a big red bow on it when we arrived. I suprised my wife that day, it was the nices gift that she had ever recieved for Christmas. It was truely a memory that both of us will never forget. All of this was made possible by the staff at GERMAIN FORD. They should be commended for their outstanding service to go along with the sale. We were extremaly satisfiedwith the car and the service. I want to thank Robin and Jason for their help. I think it goes unsaid that most people are reserved when going to a dealership. Will they overcharge me? They are sales people and it is their job to convince me of an auto. Will I be approved? Will I be there all day? Will I get something reliable? It is scary and overwhelming. Well, Robin took all the guess work out. We were in dire need of a vehicle, and fast. We had little money, bad credit, and a lot was riding on our being able to purchase a vehicle. Well, they made it happen. And we couldn't be happier. They (Robin and Jason) were extremely friendly, but not overbearing. And with little to work with, got us into a car that night. My experiences at Germain Ford has kept me coming back for about 10 years now. Rex is awesome! He took his time with me, showing me so many cars but not pressuring me to buy any of them. He wanted to get me into a car that I would love and he did. I also asked him to keep an eye out for a car for my son. We just brought it home tonight and he is out driving it. He loves his car too. I can't express enough how this dealership took such great care of me and made me feel like I am a very good friend. They are down to earth and didn't treat me with the "you are a woman" attitude that I have gotten from other dealerships. I truly love everyone who I came in contact with. Great personalities, great guys! Germain Ford has the best staff and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a top quality pre-owned vehicle.

I came to Germain Ford to purchase a used Ford F-150. I was referred to Ryan Hauger, who assisted me in my search. I'd seen a 2008 Lariat edition on the website, which I wanted to see first. He pulled it around, and was very diligent about answering my questions. From start to finish, the process was overall a positive one. I feel that the bottom line price (window and optional extended service agreement) was a positive investment for me, and left feeling as though I'd purchased a quality truck from a reputable dealer. After sale customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with. Have several items listed on the contract which need repaired. Still trying to have these repaired after nearly 1.5 months. When I call the dealership, I cannot get anyone to return my calls. I called 7 times in one day just to talk to someone about a brake vibration that was to be fixed. Finally had that repaired but waited 5 hours on a Saturday morning. The car had not even gone into the bay before I had to speak to the mgr. to get someone to look at it. There were 3 other people that had to complain for waiting too long on this same date. This particular brake issue should not have been an issue according to the sales rep. because all their cars go through a thorough pre-sales inspection. Clearly not the case since the rotors needed turned and machined. Now I cannot get a return call on a crack in the front window that needs repaired that is listed on the contract as to be repaired. I've called 3 times today but keep leaving messages for people to return my call since the sales person that "approved" this contract is no longer employed by the dealer. I also have the Germain Advantage. What advantage is this if they do not treat their customers with some respect? My family and I have bought over 8 cars in 10 years and I will not return to Germain again. One of reasons I went to Germain was their "supposed reputation." I am very disappointed. This will be my last purchase there as well as any of my family members, friends, and co-workers.

Very nice experience. Got the 2011 Mustang I wanted...the color, interior, options, sound system and more. No hassling!! Easy checkout although the printer wasn't working but finally did...not the business manager's fault. Otherwise, I would have been out of there in no time flat.
