A terrible and costly experience. I've spent nearly $500 on a front end brake job, and I would need to spend more that $200 to, perhaps, fix the problem. For nearly $800, I get 2 new rotors, brake pads, and new brake hoses. The brake problem has noticed by me three months ago,. When braking, the vehicle pulled to the left. When I got home, I noticed that the left front wheel was very hot. I took the vehicle to Quick Lane in Sandwich on July 1. On July 6, I was told the slide pins were not working properly and that the pads were wearing unevenly. Quick Lane lubed the pins, replaced the pads, and turned the rotors. I took the vehicle home, but I noticed that the braking was more difficult, that is, I had to press harder than usual on the brake petal. I took the vehicle back to Quick Lane, who test drove it, then said that the reason for the difference in brake feel is because the OME pads are of a different material. I didn't like it, but I accepted the change. Over the next three months, I started experiencing pulsating when braking. This pulsating continued to get worse, so I took the vehicle back to Quick Lane. They said a rotor had warped. Quick Lane replaced the rotors. Days later, I noticed that the left front wheel was still hotter than the other wheels. I took vehicle back to Quick lane because I felt that the problem had not been resolved, and I was concerned that the heat could cause the new rotor to warp. I wanted verification that the vehicle was operating properly. They said they probably needed to replace the brake hoses since everything else checked out okay. That would be another $200 plus. No thanks, no more money from me. Vehicle 2005 Toyota Sienna

From test drive to delivery, 2.5 hours out the door. I consider this phenomenal experience for a large capital purchase. Ben Panock was my salesman and his knowledge, respect, and ability to make a deal come together is excellent. I couldn't be happier with the way this went. Love the fusion too!! I was initially shopping used, but Ben worked very hard to get me new at the same price as used. Awesome!

Jeff Probst sold me a 2014 Ford Focus. He did not disclose information he and his mangers had about the Ford Focus transmission problems. The the trips to the shop started and we were told that this was an ongoing problem with these transmissions since 2011. Transmission has been torn down twice to replace clutch plates. Has to go in every 7 months for repair and another computer update to go with it. no one told us about the problem when we bought the car new. Now they tell us only a new transmission will fix it but they will not replace it. we are now stuck with a car that is decreasing in value and will run out of warranty and we will be left with fixing it every time it has to go in. Don't do business with Gjovik Ford for any purchase. They are liars. The lawsuits are starting now. I too will file one but not to fix this car but for non disclosure of something that if i had known, i would not have bought the car. Samuel Jones

The sales staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, particularly in determining what the strengths and weaknesses were between regular hybrids and plug-in hybrids. The service was very good, and they allowed me to come back on multiple occasions to ask more questions. At no point did they pressure me into a sale on-the-spot, as you used to be a common occurance when shopping for cars. At the time of the sale, they told me about some issues they found with the vehicle, and had them repaired at no cost to myself. This is not the first vehicle I have purchased from Gjovik, and it will always be the first place I check when looking at vehicles.

Went in looking for a truck for myself after having seen one posted online. No one came out to ask how we were doing or if we were interested in a certain vehicle. Had to go inside and ask for someone to help us out. Went in a test drove a car and was looking to possible trade in my car. Horrible salesman Terry did not even ask what we were interested or even try to make a deal. When i asked if they can give me a good deal or try to work some numbers out, sales man stood up and told us to have a good night. Literally kicked us out of the dealership and never once tried to negotiate a deal or show us other vehicles we may be interested in. I will not recommend this dealership to any of my friends or family. Worst customer service i have experience and sales man was a total xxxxxxx! Not professional at all nor interested in the customer needs and on top very disrespectful!!They def did not want to sell or even show me any options that were available for me. Total waste of time and never going back!!

I chose gjovick because the service mngr. Gave me the most accurate diagnosis of my problem. The truck was fixed the day I brought it in and the price was fair. The mechanic who did the engine work had given me the wrong diagnosis, and was giving me a hard time warranting their work which turned out to be an improperly installed ICP valve. I can use the ford work order to use against the mechanic for the poor work they had done. Thank you

I purchased a 2016 ford fiesta st for my son. A couple of months ago I purchased a 2015 ford Taurus for my wife. I simply called Terry Nielson, my sales person and told him what I was looking for. He called me back with an approval. I stopped by to pick out the car I wanted and did some paperwork. After looking online for months for the specific make/model, year, mileage, and price for a used car, we finally found what we were looking for at Gjovik. Customer service was slow and we were not treated as if they appreciated our business. Because we were young, it seemed as though the salesmen were trying to trick us into "extras" we didn't need as well as treating us like naive kids. We tried to lower the price of the car due to some upgrades that would need to be fixed right away, and they didn't budge. Also, never expect a good price for your trade-in (unless you're trading in something newer than you're buying!) Because we were from out of state, everything was either a hassle or something they couldn't help us with. Overall, it was not a good experience and we will likely buy from somewhere else in the future.

My son's car is an old hot mess. The gentlemen at Quick Lane were very thorough with what they suggested I get done to my kid's 2005? 2002? Pontiac Grand Am. We did a lot of the work at this visit, and I plan to have the rest of the work done right when I get my taxes. The most important things were done last week. The gentlemen were very detailed as to how much everything would cost to the absolute cent. Parts needed to be ordered and lots of work needed to be done. The car was finished in 3 days. We have new tires on the car, a new electric part to make the brake lights safer and and to make them actually work again. The coolant water pump thing was also replaced. Each day I was called by one of your employees to tell me how the work was going and what each part would cost. I was totally involved with the process. Excellent communication between the customer and the staff.

Sales: tough and firm on price. After some haggling, they came down on an add-on and up on my trade-in, so we closed the deal. Lou, the Finance Guy: excellent in every way! My "new" used E350 Super Duty had low miles, but was used HARD during its short first life. The Clean-up Guy(s) did an OK job prepping the outside of the van for delivery, but they DID NOT spend nearly enough time on the interior. The "cockpit" area and center console are GROSS and were obviously not touched at all by the Clean-up Guys. Grrrrrrrr... So, at Gjovik, watch your USED and Commercial vehicles for proper prep. Good luck!

I always get great service at Gjovik's Quick Lane center. I came in for an oil change on a Monday morning, fully prepared to wait a while, but I was in and out in no time. Rusty, the service manager, is always polite and helpful. When I mentioned I would probably lose my antenna topper during the car wash, he immediately had the service tech run over and retrieve it from the car wash bay for me. Totally unnecessary, but very appreciated!

My experience while shopping for my F250 super duty was excellent. I had found this vehicle on line after looking for months. I finally emailed Gjovik and got an immediate response. A few days later i made the journey to meet with Steve Woods my salesman. At the instant i spoke with him I knew he was a no nonsense,genuine and down to earth person. We spoke briefly when I arrived and he let me take the vehicle for a drive and was very knowledgeable about the truck. I went for a drive and it was all i expected and more. We arrived back at the dealership and Steve worked with us to put all the numbers together and made sense of every step we took and made sure every option available to us was in place. I have purchased Ford trucks since High school and had used the same dealer for years. This is the first truck i have purchased from Gjovik but there will be more to come. My experience was excellent and I will absolutely recommend Gjovik and Steve to my friends and Family.

We bought a 2012 Ford Focus, and two months later we had to replace front wheel bearing, it only cost us $345.00 but this car basically sat in the garage and very few miles were put on it before it needed repairs. I thought they had a 100 Point inspection on used cars. I might return in the future but will take any cars I am thinking of buying to a real mechanic first for a complete inspection. Caveat Emptor ("Let the buyer beware") We actually bought two cars at the same time. (2012 Ford Focus and 2001 Ford Fusion) They have Poor Customer service skills, as they promised to make this right, and then Mike never called back. You would think that if they decided not to re-reimburse us for the repairs as least they could have called us back and let us know what their decision was. I guess its all about the money. It has been years since we purchased new (used) cars and we actually shopped around quite a bit. Over all Gjovik Ford is a very large dealership with a very big selection of used and new cars. The day of the sale everyone was very courteous and friendly and not allot of pressure like other dealerships. I would not tell anyone to avoid this dealership, but don't forget that its all about moving cars. Take your time. Take the car to a mechanic and have them go over it. Remember that once you sign on the dotted line and leave the lot you own it and they will not cover any repairs without an extended warranty. Valuable Life Lesson Learned. The staff noticed our warranty expired in 3 days and got us an appointment right away. They set my husband up with a rental quickly and got to work. The car was ready earlier than expected. I am very happy with the car I bought and the salesman I worked with. I think you should make it standard when you are getting the car ready for delivery to fill the tires too. My tires were very low and it has affected my gas mileage. One of the reasons I bought the car was because it was supposed to get very good gas mileage. So far it has not but I hope filling the tires will help see an improvement. Also the salesman told me the car takes regular unleaded gas but it requires premium gas. I still would have bought it but I specifically asked about that and was misinformed.Overall I think you did a wonderful job and it was worth the drive to purchase the car from you. Thank you

You were the only dealer in northern Ill with the car I wanted to test drive that would allow me to tow my camper with it. I was only buying the car to tow the camper. When I showed up for the test drive Gjovick's Mike A. was ready for me. I did not have to wait while you washed the test drive car. And when the test drive was over you didn't try to sell me something I did not want. It was ok. I was a bit disappointed as no one took time to show me how to use my new remote start. When I paid for it the girl in the cashiers officer just handed me my keys and advised that my Escape was outside. I asked if there was an owners manual or anything to show me how to use the new device and she pointed to the service area and told me go our there someone can help you. Well guess what no one was there. It was close to 6pm and I wanted to get home so I left to the parking lot to look for my car. I have had remote starts from Ford in the past so I figured it wouldn't be hard and it wasn't. I did finally find the manual in the center console but if it hadn't been that I needed a tissue I would never have found it. This is not the normal service we have received from this dealership in the past. It may have been just that everyone was busy or our shoveling show. Not to mention tired from the past few snowy days.

I came in the have new tire installed. The quality of the tires, quality of the work, and friendliness of the staff were all great. My only issue was that the amount of time taken to do the tire install was much longer than I was told it would take. I was told I would take 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours to finish the job and it ended up taking 3 hrs and as a result I was late for work. It was explained to me why it was taking extra time but I don't feel that the explanation was sufficient.

Lanny went through a list of all the Ford Escapes on the lot to determine which had the features I wanted. We narrowed down to two, then one - a 2014 Escape Titanium. He simply told me what features each car had and explained what they were when I wasn't sure. At no time did I ever feel rushed or pressured.I've never been to Gjovik Ford before this visit and I have to say that it was a very good experience. Purchased 2008 Toyota tundra white double cab 4.0 v6 in September 2014. The warranty service and replacement of faulty torque converter was excellent and prompt. Service staff was excellent, courteous and helpful. the transmission technician was excellent and he had the depth of knowledge and understanding of the issues the truck was having which was outstanding. I was left relaxed and confident that the Gjovik staff would take care of me. I rate the dealership a 10 in comparison to the Toyota dealership I dealt with for a couple of weeks prior to returning the vehicle back to Gjovik Apache Ford. The Toyota dealership gave be misleading stories and information as to the issue with the truck and would rate there service department a 4 on the same rating scale. I buy new cars all the time and this was my best experience. I drove off feeling refreshed and not like I had been being pressured into buying.

I dropped the vehicle off for an oil change, low tire pressure and sunroof recall. The dealer said it would take about 30 to 45 minutes. I asked if I borrow a loaner to run and get my haircut. They let take one of the loaners, and by the time I got back the Escape was done. By the way, the Transit was the loaner, and it was a great little vehicle.

My friend found a car on the lot at Gjovic through Cars.com. I wasn't having a good experience at some other Ford dealerships closer to home, so my friend and I decided to take the long haul down to Sandwich, IL. I'm glad we did. The "slower pace of life" was very refreshing and comforting, quite frankly. My salesman Terry was wonderfulstraight and honest. Lou in finance was wonderful as well. I've only owned 2 cars before this one, and I have to say that this was the best car buying experience I've had. And the shortest.The car buying experience in America has a bad rap, which is justified in many cases. Many dealerships of all car brands are sleazy and shady and the person who is unprepared will be like a succulent lamb walking into a wolves den. NOT SO AT GJOVIC! Thank you all for making a me great deal and making my experience so much less stressful as the other places that I checked out. Highest marks I can give!If you don't mind taking a far drive to get away from the city, I recommend Gjovic Ford in Sandwich, IL

Steve was extremely polite and helpful. The only complaint I have is that the oil needed to be changed, but the sticker said that an oil change wasn't needed for another 3,000 miles. The other fluids were also low. Was I wrong to assume that the vehicle was road ready?? First of all, my name was misspelled the first time I was there the beginning of July when I had my last oil change. Jeff found my information and made the necessary change to correct it in your system. Then there were electrical problems at the shop while I was there. The staff handled the problem professionally and expeditiously to get my tires rotated and oil changed in about an hour. I was not on a time crunch so the problem was not an inconvenience for me. The only thing is that the computer did not recognize the coupon I brought in for the wiper blade replacement and charged me full price on them. I caught the problem before I got my car back so the man at the counter, Jeff, offered to reopen the ticket to correct it and refund my card the difference or give me $10 off my next oil change. I opted for the discount on my next visit and was glad to have the problem resolved without further delays. Thank you all so much. I'll see you again.

The first phone call I received it seemed as if the tech working on the vehicle was just trying to blow off the concerns with the vehicle. There were obvious problems with the vehicle that a good visualInspection would have found. I was not happy with the responses by the dispatcher when she called about the vehicle. In short it was oh the tech didn't tell me anything about that, didn't see the leak, rinsed it down, and I guess that you won't be picking up your vehicle today. I had the vehicle re dispatched to a qualified tech and than the issues were resolved. I wish Vito could have handled it all personally and I hope to deal only with him in the future. He is an asset to the company in more ways than one.

I bought a used pickup truck. Spent a little more than I expected to, but my new pickup was in very good shape, very little rust. The salesman was helpful in finding the right person to remedy that. It had a little leak in the power steering hose which Gjovik replaced at no cost to me.

Our salesman, Rick Segvich was very personable and helpful. What I liked the most about our experience is that there were no high pressure tactics, we were treated respectfully and allowed to make our own decisions without anyone breathing down our necks. I have purchased over 20 new cars, this was one of the most positive experiences.I do not recall the name of the younger business manager, he was also very personable, respectful and helpful. It's no surprise that this dealership sells a lot of Ford vehicles.

I initially had emailed about a vehicle, filled out a quick application. Did not hear from anyone for awhile. I thought-oh well-there are plenty of dealerships, I had hoped to buy locally again. But then Chris Griffing responded and was interested in working with us. We had bought a car from him before and were pleased. He has been very helpful, as well as the finance people Lou and Nick(ended up talking to both.) Got us financed despite credit issues. Chris G. referred us over to Lanny Alltop to handle the paperwork since Chris was out, and he was great. Got a great car-no stress experience.

When I dropped off my Dodge Durango for an oil change and a "check engine" light, Rusty greeted me right away and immediately let me know how soon they could work on my car. The check-in process was quick and courteous. I felt I had time to discuss the work I needed to have done. As a repeat customer, all Rusty needed was my car key and the best phone number to reach me that afternoon. The rest of the information he would pull up from my VIN number. By the time my errands were done, my car was ready. Picking up my car was just as easy. The friendly, courteous atmosphere continued. I appreciated the car wash, too. Thank you for a job well done!

Our car has the keyless entry feature, however, buying it used, we did not have the original code to change it to our own code. Our salesman, Iggy Campos told us if we bring our car in for service, they would get our original code. Because there were 2 recalls on this vehicle, we decided since we would be bringing it to Gjoviks for the recalls, we'll get the oil changed and the factory installed code for our keyless entry. When I brought the car in, the gentleman at the service desk told me it will cost $65.00 to get the code. I told him our salesman said if we bring the car in for service, we will get the code. The gentleman asked "did he say it would cost $65.00?" I replied "no". So I told him to skip getting the code at this time, just do the rest of the service. However, our Service Advisor, Jordan Kurtz, did get the factory installed code for us at no charge. Mr. Kurtz did an awesome job explaining all that was done with our car, then I was very satisfied.

Our experience was great! The individuals... Across the board were very helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. Our dealer did such a great job and I was surprised to find out later from one of his fellow employees that he was fairly new! Even while I was waiting to get our new car detailed in the back. It was very awesome! Iggy was very knowledgable about our Ford Fusion Energi and answered ALL of our questions with complete confidence. We had visited a few different dealerships (GM based and Ford) and he was the only one that was able to answer our questions. Some of the other dealerships sales people did not have answers for our questions which was quite disturbing when we were looking at such a major purchase. Steve Woods was our sales representative. We had called him on the telephone on a Monday evening, shortly before closing. He spent about half an hour with us on the phone and took our information to run a credit check for us to discuss our options for a new Ford. As we were deliberating between repairing our old car and trying to work new car payments into our very tight monthly budget, it was important decision we had to weigh before making the decision to pursue a new car. Steve was very patient and thorough in reviewing our options. When we concluded, I concluded that my wife and I would make a decision, and probably come to see Steve in the morning. Steve explained he would be off the next day, and was going to be donating his time at a charity cookout, but would be back on Wednesday. He gave us his personal cell number and told us to call him if we had any other questions, which we did. He took our call later that evening. We told him that we would wait until Wednesday, when he was back at the dealership to work with him, because he deserved to get our business. I am a veteran consultative sales professional, and Steve obviously understands the concept of building rapport, qualifying the needs and the capabilities of the client to solve those needs, and the concept that in this industry, you are not just selling the car, but creating a business relationship. I will certainly be glad to work with Steve again when we need to eventually replace out Fusion, and will be happy to refer anyone I know to call him for their automotive needs.Thank you-Scott Baker

This was my second trip to service regarding this same issue. They did not diagnose the problem correctly the first time, so the issue was not resolved. They did great work once the problem was diagnosed properly and the repair was completed. Truck runs great now. I did not appreciate the additional downtime (3-4 days each time)created by not getting it right the first time.

2010 Black Ford Flex. After having an unsatisfactory experience with our sales person, Tom and the service staff did everything they could to make it right. Replacing things that should have not been broken when the car was sold as well as a few little extras. If it wasn't for Tom we probably would have returned the car. The guys at the quick lube were very friendly and helpful and so was the parts guy. Overall a bad situation was turned into a good one.

We were looking for a Ford Fusion Hybrid with particular features. I don't know how I would have found it without a service like cars.com. I can tell you that buying a car at a small town dealer is a whole differnt experience than going to Orland Park, Oak Lawn or Schaumburg. The was no pressure at Gjovik in Sandwich, IL. They sensed I wanted to buy the car and be on my way. The salesperson went beyond the call of duty and explained a few features of my other Ford that I was unaware of. The internet person was pleasant and the finance officer was thorough and helpful. No pressure here. Just people doing business with people.

I should have paid attention to the reviews and so should you! There is a reason they are rated so poorly. Here is my tail. I found a van that was a good price that I was willing to travel a few hours for. I called Rick S and discussed the vehicle. I asked about putting a $500 deposit down to hold it for a week but he said is manager did not allow that. Weird, I had done this numerous times since the money is nit refundable most dealers jump on this. Anyway, we traded questions about the van and prices. On Thursday I received this "Hello Mark,Just a quick note to see if you recieved the bill of sale in the e-mail? And wondering if you would like to set up a date and time to take delivery of the vehicle?Sincerely,Rick Segvich"On Friday I called and said yes I would. He said great, I will call you back in 30 minutes to get your credit card deposit. I said I thought you did not do that. I can come Tuesday. I was willing to take the chance. He said only for a short period. He told me he just needed to check with his manager to make sure everything was ok. Well four hours later I call him and he says my manager won't let me take the deposit. I knew at this point something was not right. He said I will put a sold sign on it and call me late afternoon tomorrow and I can take the deposit. Ok, I call at 4 and he says, nobody showed it all day and now someone i showing it. You can see where this is headed. Sure enough, I received this email. Hello Mark,Just to let you know that our Fleet man did sell the Van tonight! Sorry! My manager said he is going to check for one going through the Ford auctions to see if he can get another one by the end of next week! I will let you know if we pick one up! thanks!Sincerely,Rick SegvichThis brings up all kinds of customer service questions. Why did you ask if I wanted to set up a time to pick the vehicle up if you were not willing to take my deposit or hold the van. Based on our conversation on Friday, I applied and received a loan and rented a car only to be given the run around for two days. This is poor customer service of the highest degree. I work in business and the number one rule is to do what you say you are going to do. Look at the reviews on here and other sites and run.

had an appointment to look at an drive a used Ridgeline. Showed up on time the truck was not up front for inspection n test drive in fact the truck was dead. this set me off on top of that totally filthy how do you look at a vehicle through dirt???? so I ended up coming back for the ridgeline the next day it was a good deal give them another chance haha. after leaving which the sale an paperwork went ok I guess. pulled out in the road an had hardly any gas. This is the 1st time ever that ive purchased a car from a dealer new or used that the tank wasn't filled. I could,nt believe that 1. On top of that I went to clean the windshield off no washer fluid. . its the little things that keep us coming back I would never refer anybody to these people bad bad customer service.

We purchased a used vehicle that we were aware had a potential problem, but was sold an extended warranty package that would most likely fix the issue. A couple days after taking the vehicle home the engine light went on. We took it to a Ford dealership closer to our home. After looking over the vehicle they found multiple problems, furthermore could not help us because they did not show a warranty package on the vehicle. We had to pay $160.00 for the estimate and was told that we should bring it back to the dealership we purchased from for them to make good on the transaction. Upon bringing it back to Gjovik we found that the warranty was never entered because the used car checklist was never completed. They assured us they would take care of the multiple problems that vehicle had. After having the vehicle for three weeks (antoher debacle) we did receive it back, but on the way home the engine light came back on. For the three weeks that it was in service we had to continously follow up to get status of our vehicle, a customer service oriented business should have been calling us. Needless to say we were extrememly disappointed with the whole transaction, a poor reflection of the Ford brand.

We have had numerous occasions to take our Ford Focus in for Service. As it is under warranty, we take it for oil changes, check-ups, inspections, as soon as we can based on advice from the dealer. This dealership is very dedicated to making a sale, but their customer service is not up to par. Apparently, their customer base is so strong, that they can employ rude service people, and then let them answer the phone chase away customers. If, or when I ever decide to buy another Ford, It will NOT be from this dealer. Bet on it!

I went to test drive a car and it took the salesman over 10 minutes to get the keys for the car, even after I had spoken to him on the phone and said I was coming to test drive it. Once he pulled the car around, I had to stand in the parking lot and wait for the license plate to be put on the car and noticed him sitting at his desk with another customer. Meanwhile, there were 3 salesman standing inside watching tv and helping no one. The car had numerous cosmetic problems and some mechanical ones as well. The salesman brushed me off for another customer and stated that's what you get with used cars. I refuse to believe that I have to settle for poor service and poor quality cars. I have test driven a car at Gjovik in the past and they weren't easy to work with then either. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Tom Conlin, the general manager truly went the extra mile for me. I had a transmission issue with my 2010 Taurus SHO that was described by a Ford TSB. The Ford data base said it did not apply to my car even though it looked like it should. If it needed to be done it would be covered by my extended warranty. Mr. Conlin checked with the Ford hot line and found that it did indeed apply and needed to be done. Thank you Mr. Conlin.

I have had a klunk when I turn right and go over a bump under the right front quarter panel. I had reported it and when the service guys couldn't reproduce the noise, one went on a drive with me so I could reproduce. It ended up that the cause of the noise was not anything mechanical but something with the body. I had some hail damage repaired in 2010 that may or may not have contributed to the problem. Not knowing the exact cause, Tom took the it upon himself to resolve this unusual situation. Through 3 days of disassembling, testing, and reassembling along with working with the company that had repaired the hail damage and Ford Motor Company, Tom and his technicians resolved the problem. Because the issue was not a mechanical issue, my warranty did not cover the costs BUT Gjovik did not charge me a dime to resolve the issue. In fact, they loaned me a car for the three days that my car was unavailable for me to use. I give Gjovik, Sherry (who kept in touch with me with updates), Tom and his technicians the highest rating. I am simply astounded at the effort they went through to be sure I was a happy customer. I recommend Gjovik for anyone who needs service done on their vehicle and therefore also recommend them when considering a used or new car purchase.

WE WOULD/WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO NOBODY AS TO THE WAY WE TREATED BY THE GENERAL MANGER TOM CONLIN AS HE THINKS THE PUBLIC DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING YOU DRIVE YOUR TRUCK INTO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY WORK ON IT THEY MESS IT UP TELL YOU TO PAY FOR THE MESS UP AND WANT TO CHARGE 3TIMES WHAT THEY SAID TO GET THERE TOOL THEY BROKE OFF IN OUR ENGINE THE OTHER BOLTS SO WE HAD TO HAUL IT TO A DIFFANT SHOP TO GET DONE RIGHT AND FOR THE COST FOR THE JOB THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO IN THE FIRT PLACE WATCH OUT IF GET SOMETHING DONE THERE

I went to look at a used Excursion and the salesman Mike was very good he put the truck on a hoist so I could look at the under carriage of the truck. During my inspection I found a broken rear exhaust manifold bolt on the left side, a commom problem with the V-10's. I also discovered the inside surface of the axle 1 right side brake rotor had rust on it from the shoes not making full contact. Both inside surfaces of the rear brakes were the same. Being in the automotive repair and inspection business for the last 25 years I had a rough idea of the cost of repairs. When we sat down with the sales manager he was beyond rude and basically called me a liar about items found during my inspection. He was so rude that even if he called today to offer the vehicle at the price I was willing to pay I would never go back to that dealership. If they inspect all their vehicles as badly as they did this one the buyer should truely beware of this dealership! I have bought many Ford vehicles from many different dealerships and never have I been so apalled at how I was treated. Its too bad that a dealership like this gets to display the Ford Blue Oval.
