Dealerships....dealers bring scary, crooked and dishonest connotations to anyone's mind. In fact, when you are in the market of purchasing a vehicle...you cringe at the idea of having to verbally fight for a vehicle you like. With that being said, your experience depends on how you handle the situation. What we all need to remember is that businesses are in business to make profit. Some are up front and clean, some....not so much. Regardless - there is a demand.....and somewhere....there is a supply. (Economics). The buying experience is what you make it. You can either walk in, expect someone to do their job to the fullest (to put you in a vehicle) and maintain your bearing (attitude, respect and courtesy)...or...keep it real, throw it down and act crazy. My family drove from Oklahoma with the intent of purchasing a truck. We live busy lives...to which everything must be planned out (intentional). I had been previously speaking to Sam via phone regarding a truck. When we arrived, we dealt specifically with Anthony Brooks. He was a courteous, straight forward and very friendly salesman. Most importantly, he was respectful of my family (including my kids). When it came time to decide, Anthony helped with the process. Anthony was straight forward and courteous through the entire sale process. Next, we were working with Tony Sanchez who was finalizing the sale with our bank. Despite some confusion with our bank, all went well. There weren't any curve balls, trickery, etc to be had.We left happy to have a truck....happy to have had a pleasant experience....happy to be done. The car buying experience can be either a wonderful experience or a nightmare....depending on how you choose. I'm glad we drove to Grand Prairie Ford and purchased a vehicle from them. Thank you to all who assisted in the process....to include the man who offered candy to my kids.

Do not trust their service department. They were ready to tear down my engine and possibly charge me over $800 for a non-existent problem. Took my vehicle for a second opinion from a trusted mechanic who told me he couldn't find anything wrong with my engine. Been driving fine ever since.

great deals galore. Purchased a 2016 F150 yesterday. Outside of the time it took to get the deal done I was very pleased. I don't recommend trying to do the up front application or anything as it didn't save me any time. Its a high volume dealer so if you have cash or great credit your sure to get a great deal.

I want to say shopping for a used truck at Grand Prairie Ford was the best experience I have ever had at a car dealership. Ben Watts was our sales person and he asked what we were looking for and our budget and payments that we were looking for and he took great care of us. He was not pushy like you get at most dealerships and really cares about satisfying his customers. He was so good that he only had to bring out one truck for us to look at and that one was the one for me. I will be coming to Grand Prairie Ford in the future for my next vehicle purchase.

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! This Dealership Is Very Dishonest. They put vehicles online for much cheaper prices than they have any intention of selling them for. Always claim its a "mistake". They strung me along for a week before changing the price of the vehicle I was about to buy.A few of them got together and played the game on me. Diana, Jenny, And The Internet Sales Manager Admitted it to me and then hung up.DO NOT SUPPORT THESE KIND OF TACTICS!!!!!!!!!!I REPEAT, DO NOT SUPPORT THESE KIND OF TACTICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We came to Grand Prairie Ford to look at a used Ford F1 50 Pickup. We had a great experience and ended up purchasing a beautiful 2011 F150 truck. Our salesman, Andy MCFarland met us at the front door with a firm handshake and a friendly smile. He stayed with us throughout the sales process and helped us in any and every way possible. He answered our questions and was very knowledgeable in the process. This is my second truck that I have bought at Grand Prairie Ford, but it won't be our last. Thanks everyone at Grand Prairie Ford. This dealership is awful!!! My brother was in the market for a slightly used car. I found a 2014 mustang on cars.com from this place for 16999. We setup a appointment he test drove it and decided he wanted to purchase it. When they brought out the paper work the car went fro 16999 to 19500 because of "options"???? I asked the salesman what were those options and that's when the deceptive behavior began!!! He told me those were reconditioning fees and then later said the fees were there because my brothers credit wasn't that good and they would have to purchase the loan etc. This dealership listed that car at a price that they were NEVER going to honor. After going back and forth about those "options" and us not budging the salesmen came from the finance office and walked passed us to move the car back into the sales lot, so we could see him do it then came and said they would not sale the car for the price listed on Cars.com!!! So we left. The only shining light in my experience with this dealership is that we discovered that my brother has way better credit then we thought and so he was able increase his price range and get exactly what he wanted later that day! We dealt with the internet supervisor Jennifer Crayton and two very slimy car salesmen whose names unfortunately I can't remember. I would never refer anyone to them and now I have another brother in the market for a new car, this place is not even an option!

Thank you to Teryn Fields for finding us our Ford Focus hatchback. He was professional in handling the sale. He made sure we were comfortable while we waited at the dealership to take a test drive. When a situation occurred that prevented him from delivering it the same day, he arranged a rental car.

Rico, my sales person, was very pushy. If it wasn't for the sales manager that I talked to, not sure of his name, I would have walked away from the sale. The Finance manager was WAY too pushy too. After telling him a number of times I wasn't interested in the extended warranty, he kept on. If he would have asked one more time, again I would have walked. I think he could tell I was getting frustrated. Then he seemed like he was in a hurry just to get me out of his office. It seemed like he was working off commission, which he told me upfront, that he wasnt. After I was done with the finance and my new car was delivered. No one was there to help move items from the trade in vehicle to the new one. Rico had promised to help, but disappeared after the sale was final. With customer service like this, I will not using your dealership for any warranty work. The back seat was missing from my trade in. Rico called or text me a number of time to ask when I was bringing it to the dealership. If I didnt respond to his email ASAP, he was calling me. I bought the car on a March 31 and brought the seat back to you on April 5th. When I brought the seat back, I also turned in an invoice that I had hand controls put into my car. I called and texted Rico a number of times to ask him to follow up on that invoice and he never did. I even spoke to Rico twice and ask if he would follow up but never heard a response back from him. DO YOUR RESEARCH AND BUY BE WARE. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO MY WORST ENEMY!

Just got home from our second trip to Grand Prairie Ford. Why did I ever go back for the second timeshame on me? Stupid clowns run this place. If you want to be lied to, humiliated and have your time wasted, believe me, you have come to the right place. They could care less about your time, only theres. They told me twice that I was approved and yes sir, drive right over and the deal is done only to discover once again that no, they cant help me, I guess we did not ask enough questions on the phone they said? Keep in mind this is after they called me and saidyes sir, there is nothing that can go wrong, you have sent us everything we need and you are 100 percent approved. Believe me, the deal will never be done here, if this was the only dealership left in the world I would just buy a horse. Complete inconsiderate failures.

I bought a Jeep and part of the package was 5 brand new tires. The service department made an error and over inflated two of my tires. By the time I got home, those tires were ruined. I called the dealership and they bounced my calls around to different departments and after talking to 3 managers, they refused to do anything about it. Remember that I just spent $30,000 with them and the tires were hazardous. All I was asking for was $300 to replace the two ruined tires and they were beyond disrespectful. DO NOT buy from them.

bought my ford fusion from GPF on 0% interest after factory rebates. I test drove the car and the car sold itself. ford builds a very good product and has everything I wanted inside. john huey had all the paperwork done in about 45 min due to good credit. I bought the aftermarket warranty but never even used it. I needed a oil change, rotate and battery and the service was a little slow because they had so many customers that day. the waiting room was packed. it took about an hour and I inspected their work before I left. all good. even though they were busy several service writers asked if I needed anything. I am very impressed with grand prairie ford and in their sales and service. I read reviews and some may of had a concern but not me. I went in on 9/21 to look at Ford Flex they had for sale. When we finally found the one we liked, we proceed to begin negotiations. We were trading in a car that we still had a note on. When they went to appraise the car, they came back with the minimum offer of 500 dollars......I traded in a car two years older and 67,000 miles more a month ago and we began at 1500......So we left when the on duty manager came out and said we couldnt get any more. 9/22 Grand Prairie Ford calls us and tells us that magically they can do the number i asked to start with yesterday today to get a sale. So we tell them thats a start considering we have yet to really move on from there yesterday. We tell him we dont want to waste our time if we come by again because it would be time spent looking at the same vehicle but cheaper at other places. He assures me it wont. We come in and we are immdiately transferred to a salesman named Ben Wyatts. He was under the impression that the deal was done if he gave us what we asked for trade in. It was still below what i wanted for it and/or the price was higher for the model than other places was. So he grabbed the manager on duty to come negotiate with us. after not moving from our initial change of the trade he tells me that's the best he can do. i said no and thanks for wasting my time. he retorts thanks for wasting his time and as he walks away he calls me a smart-xxx audibly under his breath. i call him out on it and he proceeds to shove my keys in my hand. i ask for his name and he refuses to give it to me. i ask several other and get nothing from them. i go find the GM office and explain the situation. He subtly tells me that i was the one with the problem and that if it was profitable they wouldn't let me leave. clearly, considering you guys called us back to come in and try and make a deal. i will NEVER buy from this dealership after the way i was treated and how it was handled. unacceptable.

Don't buy anything from Grand Prairie Ford, Avoid Anthony Brooks and especially Tony Terrazas, they are crooks along with the dealership as a whole. They will try to hook you on a finance plan with ridiculous rates and are not interested in selling cars using your own finance company. It should be up to the customer to choose what finance company to use at the best rate, not the dealership. You will be better off avoiding these crooks, taking your business elsewhere dont deal with Grand Prairie Ford, Anthony Brooks and especially Tony Terrazas for your future vehicle needs.

Will not work with price or problems with used vehicles. Old fashion type car buying experience with used car sales staff, i.e. "Let me go talk to my manager". Even though they say they are not a true price car pricing lot, they act like it. Used truck had been on the lot for almost 2 months, but the salesmen tried to tell me that the manager was firm on the price, so I said, "Thanks" and walked out. Followed by the salesman, saying wait, wait, we can work a deal. If you have all day, and like to haggle, this is your dealership. I didn't and it's not.

After driving an hour in traffic to buy a truck that was advertised for $24,997 on cars.com and the company's own website they refused to sell if for that price. They instead added a "fee" of almost $1900 to cover their multi point inspection and make up for a bad trade that was done on that vehicle. The new price was now almost $27k! Buying a car at this location is not a problem. They are very good at selling but wait until you have to take your car for service and you will find out how bad they are. This is one of my experiences that just happened yesterday at this location, I take my car here because is where I purchased the car, plus I have the Oil Change program and the Free Tire Program when I bought the car. If I would have known the service is this bad, I would have never buy a car here. I bring my car at 9:30am to get service. The AC is not working, it won't blow underneath the driver's side, its been like that for a long time. Also one of my tires had a hole so it needed to be fix. My car is there since 9:30am and at 5:00pm I had to call the dealer because I haven't heard from them, so I called to see if my car is ready, because not even the service advisor had called me. Came to find out the advisor was already gone at that time. No one was able to give me any answers about my car. I had to wait until a mechanic called me back to let me know what was going on. The guy called me and told me that to fix my AC is going to cost me $200 because is missing a duct (how a brand new 2013 car was missing a duct? someone please explain) and that to fix my tire it was going to cost $170 WHAT??? He didn't even check my account to see that I am on the Tires Program, I had to tell him and then he says: well I have to see if they approve it. MY GOD what type of service is this? my car is been there for 8 hours and nothing had been done. I came to pick up my car at around 5:45pm, no one called me to let me know the car was ready, the location closes at 7:00pm. I couldn't leave my car there for a day for just a tire change. At the end of the day, all that was done to my car was a tire changed. Over 8 hours to do this. Let me tell you this is probably my 4 or 5 time complaining. The service people at Ford SUCKS!! they only care about selling cars but once they sold a car, they screw you. I will continue complaining as long I don't get no good service. I paid over $20k for my car, I deserve good service.

I just bought a new Ford F-150, NOT from Grand Prairie Ford! I found a truck during my internet search at Grand Prairie Ford. I contacted salesman and he gave me quote minus rebates that I did not qualify for. I agreed on deal and salesman said manager would call me back right away with exact final amount since I was a out of town cash buyer and was flying in to pick up vehicle the next day. 2 1/2 hours later still no call. I called manager, he was not available so another manager said he would review my file and call me right back. 3 hours later, no call. I called second manager, he was not available but person on other end of phone would pull my file and help finish transaction. He said he could have all paperwork completed and ready for me when I arrive the next day but truck price would be and EXTRA $3,000.00!!! After advising him that a price had already been agreed to, he said "this is the price". I then called Mel at Five Star Ford. I told him what I was looking for. He had exact same truck with exact same window sticker. I told him the price that I was originally quoted at GPF. Mel said he could not get me that price but he could give me a BETTER price! I flew in next day with cashiers check, Mel picked me up at the airport, paperwork was ready at Five Star Ford and I was on my way with NO complications. FIVE STAR FORD IS THE BEST!

You call for an appointment and you arrive and they tell you that they can not preform the work and tell you that you need to make another appointment and we did not receive a call after driving 25 miles. On the first appointment we received the truck worse being cleaned than when we brought it in. We spent money getting truck detailed before bringing in to get serviced and it had water spots and grease all on side of truck. The customer service sucks. They lie to their customersjust to get you in.

Purchased a vehicle from this dealership earlier this month and had an overall great experience. In the end we negotiated a price that I felt was more then fair. The part that made the overall experience great rather then good was getting to work with a gentleman by the name of Andrew from down under who was the easiest salesman I have ever had the pleasure buying from.

My wife and I bought a used Ford Flex from GPF because my father had done previous business with them when he bought a Roush Mustang. We completed our purchase of our CPO vehicle and were happy to begin with. As my wife pulled into our driveway one day I noticed a rather large dent in the frame behind the bumper cover. We had only had the vehicle for a couple of weeks at this point so we called GPF to see what could be done since a CPO vehicle isnt alowed to be certified with front end damage. Long story short, they told us tough xxxx and my wife is driving around a vehicle with front rnd damage that we paid premium price for. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE xxxxxxxx!

I recently purchased a F-150 from Grand Prairie Ford. The salesman that helped me, Tony, was great. I had 3 different trucks that I had picked out. He showed me all 3 and we test drove 2 of them. I wasn't trading in my old truck, so he followed me home to help get both vehicles back to my house. I really like the truck, and I'd have to them an A+ on the service.

We didint get to the dealership till after 8:30 pm but he had no problem working with us till almost 10pm to get the deal done... Thanks Andy and GP Ford.. I will be back!

I purchased my 2010 Ford F150 a week ago and I must admit it was a great experience. My Sales Agent Antonio Olivarez was outstanding and worked hard to ensure I was made happy with my deal! It was a sure far cry diffence than AutoNation Ford in Frisco where they didn't care if they had my business or not. the only issue was time... I was there an awful long time as they didnt want to budge on my "trade-in" and I wasnt going to budge either. I finally asked for numbers excluding the trade and thats when we hit pay dirt! The only suggestion I have for Grand Prairie is this... Dont get so hooked on the trade when a deal may be made without the trade if the customer is willing!

I recently went in for an oil change on my 2012 Focus and as I was leaving I stopped to just peek at a 2014 Fusion knowing that there was no way I would ever be able to take one home. I was greeted by my salesman Gilbert Millet-Rivera, he asked me a few questions about what I'm looking for in a car and my price range/budget. Not thinking that I would make it past the front door, before I knew it Gilbert was taking us out to look at a Fusion with all the features I wanted to test drive and I just fell in love with the car. Gilbert went above and beyond to get me into that car and in a timely manner at that. I just closed the deal with the finance department today and it was the greatest feeling to take home the car I wanted with the features and payments I needed. Thanks for all of your help Gilbert!!!!

I bought my first Ford Focus in 2004 from GP Ford. Very satisfied with vehicle and customer service. Returned in 2007 for another Focus. Loyalty to the Focus for great performance and to GP Ford for staff that has been easy to deal with. This weekend we bought our 3rd Focus here and must say, this has been the best experience yet. Gilbert was awesome. Took his time to show us a variety of cars to choose from. Never felt rushed, Gilbert showed great patience. Instead of trying to sell us on a deal, he asked questions and listened to us. Tailored the deal to fit our goals and needs. I'm not sure when, but we will be returning in the future for that 4th Focus.

Once I was there they told me they wouldn't be able to buy my car because it's an exotic and it isn't a Ford. I asked them why they called me saying they were interested in buying my car in the first place. All they had to say was sorry. Mary was the name of the person who originally called me. Brittany was the name of the person who scheduled the appointment. Once I got there I talked to 3 different salesmen and a manager who all tried to pass me on to someone else. I just bought a new Ford F-150 - NOT from Grand Prairie Ford, and let me tell you why. I worked online with a lot of salespersons from various dealerships to find the best overall price. The best online quote I got was from GPF - but I was warned that they would add costs to the figure when I came to pick it up, so I asked all the salemen to give me their 'bottom line out the door" price. Every single one immediately got me that figure, EXCEPT GPF. I did not hear from them until 2 days later when a manager called me. He was evasive and defensive and still refused to give me the number. I finally got him to admit that they were adding on a bed liner, tint, etc and that it would not be the price originally quoted to me. He then tried to tell me he could find one without a bed liner, etc, but I do not like their sales tactics and and do not recommend purchasing a vehicle from them. Five Star Ford gave me the best price, were honest, friendly, and everything was disclosed to me before I came out to pay for the truck.Hopefully by exposing the way Grand Prairie Ford tries to add on charges, they will have to change their tactics and give you the real price when you ask!

*** INFORMING THE NEWS & BBB OF UNETHICAL DEALERSHIP***So I went to Grand Prairie Ford today to look at trucks since I had time. I found a truck that had everything I wanted. The sales manager offended me once before even getting to the vehicle. Then I saw the vehicle and asked the salesman for the price and looked it up on autotrader while he went back to ask. He comes back and says we have a great price for $36,995. I asked why that price and he said something. I put my phone down turn it around and show them that they had it advertised for $33,941. He tries to justify it and I told him no yall are an unethical dealership. He said well is that the price you want to pay and I said no that is the starting point. I said I do not want to deal with an unethical company and that they lost my business. I start walking out and he said he would get in trouble if I leave. I told him that he can tell his boss that I am leaving cause they are just an unethical company.

This dealership advertises extremely low internet prices to lure unsuspecting buyers into their showroom. Wait! There was no showroom. The new car I was looking to purchase was brought out front for my wife and me to view. The car was dirty inside and someone had spilled something making the center console sticky. The car also had add-ons i.e.: Tinted glass, cloth protection etc. adding about $1700 to the price of the car. They never intended to sell the vehicle for the advertised price. I would never recommend this dealership to any of my clients, friends or family.

I have done business in the past with Grand Prairie Ford and was satisfied with my experience. When I started shopping for a used car, I found one there and called. The sales representative assured me that they still had the car and that the price was within my budget. Once I arrived, I waited a few minutes and was told that the sales person was unavailable and a different person would try to help me. I asked him to bring the car around so we could look at it...another wait. When he returned, he advised that the vehicle had been sold the previous night and the "system was not updated properly". Had this been the only instance of this type of activity, I would probably have let it go, but this seems to be a recurring pattern with this dealership. GO AT YOUR OWN PERIL!

I just have bad experience with this Dealership today: Feb/08/2014. Sale Manage of Car Dealer name is Arvin Procter had conversation with me over Email and He agreed to sale the Lexus with price is $12k+Tax. I came to Ford dealer to test drive and found out the car have some scratch, cosmetic, dents and title reported LEMON. I offered $12.500 that included tax, sale man name is Robert spoke to his boss and shaked my hand to done deal and toll me write a check. I went to my car get a checkbook and He run after me and toll me that sale Manager said "NO" it have to be $13,100.00 and this price will work for all day today. I left and decide to come back an hour later to pay for that price, but this time, He said Used car Director say " the price will be increase to $13,000+ tax+fee= $14,500. This is ridiculous, just 1 hour but they can increase the price and they blamed to different thing. They made me wasted the times for nothing. They don't care what commitment between saler and buyer, they break agreement and don't care how their service. Don't trust this Dealership and don't ever go to this Auto Dealer, they are dishonest and can increase their price anytime they want, it just depend how much you like the car and they can increase from that..'

I Confirmed the price once again with the sales person and they started the paperwork to make my cash purchase. A sales manager comes to the table and tells me this vehicle is going to be $1787 more than the price listed online. He tells me the Cars.com price did not include the dealer added options. My question is why did you have a misleading ad online and never intended to honor your listed price? In my opinion this is misleading at best. Read the fine print and do not use this dealer based on any Internet ads. Lesson learned. Dont buy from Grand Prairie Ford.

They did tow the vehicle back tot he dealership the next business day and corrected the battery. We asked that they double check to ensure that all parts of the vehicle were in working order. We were assured again that everything was fine but to our amazement, it certainly was not. Looking at used trucks on cars.com. A 2008 Silverado V8 with 81k? Under 15k? Why is the grill chrome and not black? Chevy didn't chrome the entire front on the Silverado until on the 2012 model. Go to their website, no truck found. Spare me the "we already sold it" nonsense. This is low-level used car dealer nonsense. Buying a new Ford or used anything? Stay away. Eggs are certainly cheaper and better than anything you'll find at IH 30 and Loop 12. Apparently their location cost is affecting how they treat their customers/prospective customers. Watch a couple of their commercials and pause them--if you can't figure that out, give them your paycheck.

I spent several days researching the truck I wanted, and searching the web for the best deals and all searches lead me to GP Ford. The truck was considerably cheaper then other Ford dealerships, and even after including a spray in bedliner and texas tints it was still better priced then other dealerships that did not include these. It was also a great experience working with a salesman from Australia who had a lot of personality and was very helpful and sincere. I highly recommend this dealership.

I bought an extended warranty for I was told was an additional 72 months or 75K miles, which would have covered mycar for the entire time it was financed(48 months) or100k miles (it was a used BMW with 31,500 miles onit and thefactory warranty expires at 36k miles). Upon recently having to take the car to the shop I was informed that the warrantyGrand Prairie submitted to the warranty company had an "in service" date, back dated to the day the car was built! Whywould I buy a warranty that covered 36 months of a car when I didnt own it?? That is a ludicrous proposition. There is nodocumentation on the contract I have it my possession that states this anywhere. I called the warranty company andthey said I had to resolve it with Grand Prairie Ford. I have left numerous messages with various members ofmanagement at the dealership with no returned phone calls. Steve Bova my contact at the dealership said fixing their misrepresentation "wouldnt be fair to the dealership"! He also did NOT EVEN WANT TO SEE WHAT I SIGNED! Spotted a great deal on an F150. I live 3 hours from Grand Prairie, so I shoed the price to my local dealer hoping they would match. They instructed I should go through Grand Prairie as they could not touch the price. Thinking the vehicle was a good deal, I made the three hour trek. What their posted price doesn't tell you is that it doesn't include any options added by the dealer (tint, bed liner, etc), not having a trade adds to your price, and there were a few other fees they tried to slide in. I walked after the final price ended up being a full 15% higher than the price quoted.

All personnel I dealt with; from salesman, sales manager and finance department, were professional and courteous. I was not pressured to purchase any particular vehicle, rather I was shown both new and used cars and was given ample opportunity to make my own decisions. Having conducted my own research, as all buyers should do, I was comfortable with the information given me by the salesman and sales manager and found it to be true and accurate. STAY AWAY... Grand Prairie Ford does not honor there internet price I wanted to buy a 2013 F-150 Super Crew they had for $25,969 plus $898 for a bedliner and tinted windows, well Brittany and Shawn would never call back or email once I showed interest in the vehicle, plus they would not give me a final price, there is no way they can sell this truck for that price they will lose 5k, they need to be reported to the state dept for fraud. Do not go to this dealership or deal with these people you will be sorry run don't walk out of this dealership and go anywhere else, find people who care about you not ones that want to suck you in just to rip you off. Buyer beware. They also run ads for the same trucks all week and never remove them (same stock numbers) at that price they would be gone everyday, the owner of this dealership is either clueless what his employees are doing to make a bigger profit on you, or a crook you decide. Then the extra fees and bogus ad on charges start it is never ending if you buy from this dealer you will be sorry....

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!! We found a 2012 GMC Terrain on the Internet priced very competitively. We called on a Friday and were told that the car was in mint condition with 24,495 miles. We explained our situation to the salesman and he said "We won't lose your business over the price of the trade in." We live 125 miles away from the dealership and wanted to make sure that the car was as advertised before driving all that way. When we saw the Internet price drop another $1000 on Tuesday, I called to make sure the car was still there. They said it was. I asked the new sales person to look over the car and make sure there were no dents, scratches or other cosmetic problems. A second time I was told it was in mint condition. So I told them we were on our way. They said they would hold the keys while we made the 2.5 hour drive. I called 2 more times on the way to tell them we were coming. "Don't worry we have the keys pulled" I asked one more time for a 3rd person to look and see if there were any scratches. A third time I was told it was in mint condition. We got there at the exact time I told them we would be there. "The salesman you were working with just left to shoot a commercial at the Rangers game and won't be back till late." So I got a new salesman. He took our information to get our car appraised and then came back and said, "I'm sorry but the car you came to look at is just now being sold!! May I interest you in another?" We were in shock after being told 3 times they had pulled the keys for us. Then the guy says, "well maybe if you look at it right now and get the numbers in before the other people do it can be yours." We went outside to look at it and there we saw a scratch that was deep, a quarter inch wide and about a foot long on the rear passenger door and back panel. Disgusted we tried to leave and they kept trying to put is in another car. We were furious and tried to get my keys to my car back. The sales manager came out and asked what my story was. When I told him that we had driven125 miles and 2.5 hours, been told the car was held for us and that it was in pristine condition and that nothing they told me was true, he said, "Sorry." Boo offer of, "let me give you some money for gas; let me see what we can do for you." We got in the car and drove away. We looked up the dealership online because I wanted to see if the pictures of the car showed the huge scratch, thinking maybe I had missed it. To my surprise, the car was now listed at $24,995, a full $6000 more than advertised just 5 hours earlier. And yes, the pictures showed NO SCRATCHES!! Please do yourself a favor and do not waste any time at this dealership

I went in there for an internet price on a car of 23,906. I was hoping to get a little off of that, and walk out with paying a total of 25k, including TT&L. Not only did it not go down, after all of the add ons, and a lot of haggling, it was at 28050. They wanted to charge for a two year service plan, and some other non necessities. What irks me about it is that they were very unconcerned that there price was just a lie. Don't drive there just to check out an internet deal, it isn't worth it.

I was quoted a price on a vehicle on the internet, set up apt, drove 30 miles, salesman that quoted price not available new salesman told me that truck had been sold but we have another one exactly like the other one. Waiting 30 min for them to evaluate trade. I finally left and said that I would come back next day. After arrival I told the salesman I wanted to know the price of the truck, I wanted to make sure it was same as previous truck. The salesman told me this truck is exactly like the other one but a thousand higher plus we have to add the cost of the bed liner and other additions which I had been told was included in the original price of the first truck. It would have been nice to know the truck was 1000 higher, I would not have driven another 30 miles.

Spoke the the Internet sales MGR several times over the phone about a truck I was interested in. I was deliberately lied to regarding financing and dealer add ons. I went and got my own financing and went up there. I went ahead and financed through Ford at a high interest rate in order to get the additional rebates. They would not budge 1 cent on price and tried to add extended warranties and protection packages on the final paperwork hoping I would not notice. I bought the truck and drove straight to my credit union to refinance it at a much much lower rate.

Deceptive advertising style! Internet sales price did not include dealer add-on of window tint $399 (non-removable) and no disclosure regarding Ford Motor Credit financing required to receive internet price ($500 Rebate for financing with FMC which reduces sales price). Note to all buyers...Get all the details before making your trip to Grand Prairie Ford. After leaving Grand Prairie Ford we called another dealer advertising a great price on Autotrader.com and experienced the same issue but with even more non-releasable dealer add-ons (tint, pin stripping, interior protection and nitrogen air filled tires). Yes I will be taking the time to write a similar review for the other dealer (Randall Noe Ford). Dear Dealer: Please read Texas Administration Code Title 43 Part 10 Chapter 215 Sub Chapter H.

Do NOT go to Grand Prairie Ford. Grand Prairie Ford is a terrible dealership. They do not honor the internet prices. No one was friendly. They were actually very rude to me (the customer). The salesman, Andy, was very high pressure, rude, arrogant, and unwilling to deal. The sales manager, Tony Terrazas, was rude and high pressure. Both, the salesman and sales manager, were unwilling to let me speak and just continued to speak over me. Neither person was willing to listen to me about what I wanted in the car and what I thought was a reasonable price. If I spoke, both individuals would just talk louder to drown me out and continue to say "this is such a good deal" and you should buy the car tonight. We had to ask for our keys multiple times before they brought them back after appraising our trade-in. We felt that we were being held hostage. Going to Grand Prairie Ford was a waste of time and I will not return.

Drove 3 hours to visit the store for the online price of select vehicles. Upon arrival/discussion, the price increased several thousand dollars due to options not requested but mandatory addition to the price. I accepted these additions because I really wanted the vehicle and thought it was still a fair price. However, when it came time to finalize the paperwork the sales manager would not work with how I needed to register the vehicle and demanded unreasonable actions on my part (basically leaving a check in case I did not register the vehicle as I said I would). I have been an officer in the military for 6 years and have a Masters in Management. This management team is terrible! Not once did the manager speak to me face to face and had zero trust in making this sale, even though they told me they trusted me completely. Therefore, they lost the sale. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

2007 ford mustang was purchased used in 2011. Car looked great until about 9 months later the paint on the hood came off! Of course when returned it was neither the fault of Ford and they said they did not paint the car before it was put on the lot. Of course they would not admit to that otherwise they would have to warranty it. The service department was rude when brought to their attention.Their service scheduling is from another planet also. You have to schedule an appointment for them to look at your car, the same appointment does not actually fix the car, you have to make another one for that. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER !

Finance manager said if we had any questions to leave a message, that he would call us back after a ASAP, NEVER called back, still waiting after 10 days. Finance dept is never available. The front desk "ladies" dont know whos doing what, put you on hold forever. Then they bully you so that you will get off their phone line- like the Sales manager I just spoke with "Ray". Completely disatisified.... I went in with a letter offer from a specific bank, and as of today my contract is with the totally random finance company I have never heard of, and has the worst reviews ever. Costomers Beware!! Internet prices at Grand Prairie Ford are Misleading. They show internet price but when go over there they add $2000.00 more because they added bedliner (on F150) and window tint. I asked to see one for internet price they said they always do the extras but dont put it on the internet. HELLO FALSE MISLEADING ADVERTISING!! THEN I signed an agreement that i would accept $6000.00 for my trade in and the next day they offered HALF!! Thats right $3000.00..I said Excuse me but you offered me twice that yesterday..He said (and I quote) "Do you really think its worth more than $3000.00. I said it doesnt matter what I think, you guys offerred $6000.00 yesterday and thats what i want. He said he couldnt go that much I said Then We are done. WHO DOES THAT?? Make an offer and offer half the next day. I said "I would like a costumer satisfaction survey" He said I could only have one if I purchased a vehicle. I guess they only accept good reviews.

I had a very bad experience with the finance department. They did not honor what the Salesman had told me, ($88 down and no payment for three months). I called about twenty times, at least, and was either put off or told they would call me back. When I finally spoke to the Finance manager and told him I thought their advertising was fraudulent and that I was thinking of calling my attorney, he cussed me out and hung up on me. I work in sales and cannot imagine ever talking to a paying customer like he did. I agree with some of the other people on this site that these are undereducated, stupid people. I would never dream of doing business with Grand Prairie Ford again and would discourage anyone else from doing so. My one pleasant experience was the salesman, Tony Mathis.

My wife and I recently purchased a new 2013 Fusion at Grand Prairie Ford. This our 3rd new car together, all from GP Ford. We've been very happy each time, and wouldn't ever consider going anywhere else. This last time, my wife wanted the new red color for the Fusion and they didn't have it on the lot. But the manager came out and spoke to us and told us that he found us one at one of their other lots. We had our new Fusion the next day! The Fusion drives great, and we seem to be getting good gas mileage too. Great service! Thanks Grand Prairie Ford.

I have used their service department for several years, and they address your vehicle service needs very well. I thought the sales experience would be just as good, but have had a bad experience with them on 2 separate occasions. The first time I found the same expedition at another dealership that had leather for the same price as theirs with cloth. They didn't act like they wanted to come down, so I bought from the other dealership. I decided to give their sales department another opportunity a couple of years later since I had so many positive experiences with the service department. No luck the second time either, so I've given up on trying to buy a vehicle from them. I will continue to use their service department for all of my vehicles because they definitely do a great job in that part of their dealership.

I told the salesman that I live over 100 miles, I am pre approved for financing and the only reason I was making the drive was to pick up a truck. The offer I made, was 1000 less than the posted price. He told me that he would have to talk to his boss and call me back. He never called. Two days later I received a email from the GM asking about my experience with the dealership, so I told him and asked if the truck was still available. Turns out it was sold. Funny thing is, I really liked the truck and would have payed full price! But after this experience, I would not suggest them to anyone.

My husband purchased a F250 from this dealer less then two months ago (not a cheap vehicle). Just days after taking it home we noticed a leak. We called the dealer and we were told that it was overflow and that this was normal. As a precaution, we were told to keep an eye on it and if it worsened to bring it in after we received our warranty information in the mail. The leak did get worse, we waited for the warranty information and brought the truck in. The leak turned out to be a radiator leak..not overflow and not covered by warranty. The dealership refused to fix the issue as they stated it wasn't their problem and we had waited past the 30 days of original purchase (hope you saw my note above that they are the ones that told us to wait) and then charged us over $1000.00 to fix it. My husband was out on the street today with a sign telling others to beware!!!!!

I was contacted by a "salesman" Edward, who told me I had been pre-approved, and set an appointment. He was very specific about the financing that would be available to me. I stressed to him that I would be driving a considerable distance, in a car that was ready to die, with no ac, and I wanted to be sure everything was set. he reasssured me that it wa so I made the appointment.I called him 3 more times before going in, asking questions so I would be fully prepared to purchase a vehicle that day. In each conversation I stressed to him that i was making a long drive in an un-reliable car, and did not want to do that unless I knew for sure there would be no glitches. In each conversation he reasurred me that everything was set - come in and see him - and he would " take good care of me". I made the trip, got there, asked for Edward, and was greeted by another salesman named Tony. That was when I was told that Edward is in the internet dept, and doesnt ever deal with customers face to face. Then Tony took my credit app to to what I assume was the finance dept. A mid-sized room surrounded by glass, and overflowing with empty pizza boxes. When Tony returned, he slapped a piece of paper down in front of me and said that my credit had been turned down because of the status of my mortgage. I explained that I am currently in a modification, and am not allowed by my mortgage co to make payments until that process is complete. He said he understood, but that no bank anywhere will finance me until that is resolved. I asked him about the 2 banks that Edward said would do it, and Tony simply shrugged and said " I don't know about that, I'm just telling you that we can't do it here". There was nothing more to say, so I left.

We started out looking at vehicles with a young man (can't remember his name, but he mention he was Palestinian). He was very polite and helpful. When we decided to negotiate the purchase of a Grand Marguis, he told us the asking price and made an offer for our trade-in. We countered and he had to check with his sales manager (Carl?). After a second counter offer, he disappeared and his sales manager took over. This made us feel uncomfortable, since this guy totally took over and the young man was only seen, when he came to offer us bottled water. How demeaned this must have made him feel. The manager kept switching the price of the car, then the trade-in and always came back to the same bottom line amount (as if we weren't smart enough to recognize that for every dollar her knocked off the price, he counter balanced it by deducting from our trade-in). Finally, we made a final offer and said that if it was not accepted, we wanted back the keys to our own car. It was like being held hostage! He kept trying to renegotiate, even after we said, "We are done negotiating! Take our offer or give us the keys to our car." This went on until we became angry. He finally said he would accept our offer and we felt we had reached a win-win situation. We paid for the difference in value (sales price minus trade-in) with cash. When we finished all of the necessary paper work, we were handed a key chain with one set of keys and remote. When we asked where was the other key and remote, the manager told us, "We don't know. You'll have to buy another set." My husband protested, but the most the manager would do was give us a used remote (with a broken loop, which meant it cannot be hung on a key chain). We had to purchase the second key (else where, because Grand Prairie Ford wanted to charge twice as much as Home Depot). We were told the car had been fully serviced (oil change, filters, air conditioning, etc.) This was a lie, since we discovered the air cleaner was excessively filthy, and other filters, oil and air conditioning all needed to be serviced.....at our expense). They did provide the owner's manual, which was missing. There was a mix up on the paperwork and they held the title hostage, until my husband became very irate. As if things weren't bad enough, we were traveling home (from Grand Prairie, TX to Washington State) when we discovered that the temporary plates on the Grand Marguis indicated that the plates were for a 2010 Mercedes Benz! There we were, half way home (1,000+ miles in either direction) with illegal plates!) My husband had to call several times (getting angrier with each call) before finally getting through to anyone. The girl kept putting him on hold despite the fact that he told her not to, because he was on his cell and the call was urgent in nature. Each time he was put on hold for so long that he eventually heard this recording, "We are sorry, you need to call back at a later time." When they finally got back to him, they wanted him to stay where we were, so they could over night express the correct plates and paper work. My husband HAD to be back to work and we could not stop midway home. For the remainder of our trip, we were afraid a state trooper would notice that the plates on our Grand Marguis said"2010 Mercedes Benz". Fortunately, we made it home without any such event....but no thanks to the ineptitude of the people at Grand Prairie Ford. I would never recommend Grand Prairie Ford to anyone...unless I really hated them! They are high pressure sales, and deceptive. I just hope the young man who originally was working with us got his commission (but I suspect his manager claimed most of it...that man would screw over his own mother).

We walked over to Mike's cubicle, he had to have my personal info before looking at trucks. That was fine, I guess. He ask how I was paying, I said, "Cash." this wasn't what he wanted to hear, I guess, he ask to be excused. He came back, wanted to know my price range, I said, "$20,000 - $30,000." I found Grand Prairie Ford on a Google search and they actually had an SUV I was interested in purchasing on their lot (Ford Escape). I left an inquiry via their website and they got back to me by email and phone call the next day. I set up an appointment with a salesman and expected to meet with him when I walked in. When I got their I was greeted by a salesman on the floor, who then went to get the salesman I had an appointment with; he was apparently busy and I was pushed off to his "floor partner." He had very little personality, was very timid, and offered no small talk whatsoever. He went instantly to paperwork, which was fine and I understand. After doing pre approval paperwork his sales manager gave him keys and told him to show me a car, a Kia Sorrento. I went in for a Ford if I was not pre approved for that let me know, I do not want to own a Kia. I quickly told him I would never drive that and he offered to see what else I "could get into." I was shown a Jeep Liberty and a Dodge Nitro, both of which the salesman had no knowledge of whatsoever, I asked several questions about options, pricing, rates and every answer I got was "I don't know man, I have to ask they don't tell me these things." I believe I was typecast-ed because I walked in with my wife and children. If you do not have the time to deal with my family, I refuse to spend my money with you. Sending an inexperienced salesman to deal with me when I had an appointment, who had no knowledge of the vehicles he was showing me was completely unprofessional. I took my business back to Don Davis in Arlington, who I was originally dealing with, and purchased a vehicle on the spot. I just went to Grand Prairie Ford to "shop around" but the lack of professionalism and knowledge stopped me from making a purchase. This is probably the reason why they had a dry erase board saying that no cars had been sold in the last three days.

By far the WORST dealership I've ever had the misfortune of walking into. Somebody needs to go in there and clean house, so to speak, and then hire a company to come out and teach them a thing or two about customer service. I have never experienced such game play and trickery in my life. Just an absolute JOKE of a dealership. If you're looking for a Ford, go to Don Davis Ford. That's where we ended up after our awful experience. There were no games at Don Davis and we left with the vehicle we wanted.

I called twice and confirmed an appointment with this dealer about the type of car I wanted. I was VERY specific about the color types and transmission. The girl was very nice and understood and told me she would pull inventory out for me to see and very confident she had something in stock. I drove over 40 miles to the dealer and they had NOTHING in stock that matched my request nor had even checked to see that they really had the cars in stock. They had only one car and it been sold already that morning. Never going back there again.

I have been looking at Escapes for two months. I got my financing in place and went to buy one today. I had seen the other terrible review of this dealer on this site. I talked with Arvin in the internet dept. and he told me they were not like that. So I decided to give them a chance. I went there today ready to buy. I walked in and told them I was interested in the XLT, the XLS, and a used one they had on the internet. I told them I was very familiar with the Escapes and what I bought would depend upon what I received for my trade in. (It's not like one XLS is that much different from another one, right?) I gave them the key to my car when I first walked in and asked them to get right on it so they could give me a value ASAP. The salesman showed me a used one I asked to see. Then I asked him when someone would look at mine. He said they would get right on it, though they were not busy at all. After some more time went by, I asked again when someone would look at my car. The salesman disappeared and a hot shot named Tony appeared. He said he wanted me to find a car first and then they would look at mine. I explained that I was very familiar with the Escapes and what I bought would depend upon what I received for my trade in. He said they didn't do it that way. I told him again that I knew I liked the Escapes and I just needed a number to we could start talking seriously. He became obstinate and rude. I asked for my key back and he gave it to me. I left and bought from a friendly dealership in the Grapevine area, who did just what I asked them to do right up front! I learned that Grand Prairie Ford: 1) only wants to work with people their way, 2) does not want to work with people who are educated buyers, and 3) gets rude when you don't do what they want you to. My internet went out the first time after I had typed all of this, but because I really believe that you should avoid this dealership, I logged back on to type it again. Find another place to buy! Don't wasted your time at Grand Prairie Ford!

I went to this dealership to buy a new vehicle. The internet price available online was below many other dealers and the vehicle had all the options I was looking for. Unfortunately, when they actually provided me with the written quote, they had added almost $2000 to the price for 'tire maintenance'. They said it was not optional and I had to purchase it. Suddenly, their price wasn't as competitive as it had seemed. It was a sneaky and dishonest tactic. I walked out of there fast and I suggest you should to. Do not trust this dealership.

I recently drove 1000 miles to trade my vehicle to Grand Praire Ford in Dallas. I had been looking for a certain vehicle for months and found it at a very good price. I contacted a salesman (Alex) several times by phone confirming and reconfirming details of the trade and vehicle. I supplied vin # and pictures and honest details of mine. I asked very specific questions based on experiences that I had read in reviews. I asked about exterior condition, interior condition, scratches, if it came with floor mats, additional fees, etc. I made at least 5 calls to confirm, explaining I didn't want to drive that far and it not be honest representation. The salesman reassured me that the condition was great inside and out with no major scratches, dings etc. He also sent me some additional pictures of the interior saying it looked new even stating floor mats are included. Long story short I called again right before my 9 hour drive to confirm and get reassurance of facts. When we arrived I waited several minutes on the salesman before he finally appeared. Everything was fine until I started looking at the vehicle. The floor mats were nonexistant, several scratches were on the back, the headrests for the back seat were gone and "best" of all the entire drivers side was covered in hail damage. Looking straight at it it was hard to see but when you got at an angle it was as many as 100 small dings all along the side. Suddenly I notice my salesman was gone. I asked where he was and they said he was gone. Then I found out there were quadruple the fees I was told. Later I asked to speak with the owner and I was told he just left. Suddenly everyone was gone???? Needless to say I was lied to and was played. I was very disappointed by their overall character and business practice. It really felt like this was a routine for them based on the reaction of all the other workers. I called the owner (Keith) three times and never received a call back. I wish someone had given me a head's-up on this dealership. As a result I'm hoping this review will save someone their personal day from work, a couple hundred dollars in gas, 1000 miles on my vehicle and a very frustrating and disappointing experience. Character and honesty are important and I never received either. Buyer beware from Paul in K.C.

This past Tuesday I visited Grand Prairie Ford located in Grand Prairie TX to look into purchasing a 2011 Fusion SEL. I was trading in my 2009 Honda Accord, and after talking with the sale person and sales manager there was a written offer as follows: my car ( trade in value $16,000) plus $7669.32 cash. I advised that I needed to think it over and would get back with them later that evening. When leaving I advised Mr.Smith that I would return Wednesday, but he stated that this was his day off, and if I closed the deal on Wednesday he would have to split the commission, so I said not to worry for I would close the deal on Tursday. I explained that I did not need to finance this amount and would pay cash. After I returned home, I attempted several times later that evening and the following day (Wednesday) to discuss this offer. After numerous calls on Wednesday, I was finally put in touch with Ross, another sales manager, who rudely advised me that my trade in was not worth $16,000 and he would now offer me only $14,500 and would owe a little more than $9,000. To say that I was stunned with this reversal and their reneging on a written tendered offer reminded me as to WHY car dealers are not held in high esteem and clearly demonstrated their unethical schemes have not changed. For a US car manufacturer attempting to reestablish them self as a quality product with quality personnel, well sir you have a long way to go. I am very disappointed with Ford and the folks at this dealership. I did send an email to the sales person Ronnie Smith, advising him that if they wanted to rethink their position, I would once again review the original written offer.I have talked with the sales person, who has informed me that the GM for the dealership initially approved the deal for it was a slow day and they needed to sale some cars. So I gather that one must go to a FORD dealership on a slow day to get a reasonable price quote, and even though you call back within hours to confirm the deal, they do not honor their offers. On Friday I received anothe call from Mr. Smith, who bullied his conversation on me and refused to allow me to speak, I subsequently hung up. Mr. Smith then called be back and left a minute and a half rant, calling me a coward, taold me to go jump in a river and that I did not have the common sense to know the value of my call and that noone would give me what I was asking. Again this is from the same folks that made me the orignal offer. I now play this rant for my co-workers and friends, an dI can assure you that Grand Prairie Ford is the last place they will ever go to buy a car. They are nothing but bullies and thugs!

I am happy with the vehicle that I bought but the sales experience was stressful and deceptive. I was asking to be explained the numbers on closing and the guy acted like he was very put out to have to explain them to me. I "walked" on two occasions but then someone would come out and get me and tell me they were going to drop the price another 500. In the end they dropped the price 1000 dollars but I noticed after signing that he went in and tacked on extra to the price that I paid for the extended warranty. Also with a 750+ credit rating he told me all he could get me was 7.5% financing. I know he could have done better than that.

I was deceived over the phone by the internet sales manager that my car would receive a certain trade in value if it was found to be in excellent condition upon inspection. After a 3 hour drive to dealership I was lowballed on my trade-in and the email correspondence between myself and the internet sales manager was not honored. I would never trust nor recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership.

I went to GP Ford to look at a car I found on their website. I was excited to find out that they're open until Midnight since I had after work and had my daughter with me. Plus, the dealership is pretty centrally located to Dallas or FW.From the time when I first arrived to after I purchased the vehicle I had a great experience. The were super nice to my daughter as well. The salesman was really knowledgeable about the car and the financing dept. was very professional. I never felt pressured to buy the vehicle, they just helped answer any questions that I had. I would recommend them to anyone looking at a new or used car.
