After doing a few months of research on vehicles and having conversations with other area dealers Andrew from Granger Motors listened to what I wanted in regard to vehicle, options and $$. I felt he did a great job mirroring my buying style and made it work for me. It was fast, easy and a good experience. I'm done with bigger dealerships! I would definitely recommend Andrew and Granger Motors.

While they may not be the fanciest of dealers to choose from in the Des Moines area, they make up for that and then some by having better sales and giving more for your trade-in. The car buying process was very smooth and easy with no pressure sales techniques. I personally worked with Andrew Pendleton whom was very prompt and worked hard to get me a great deal! Will definitely buy from them again in the future.

We bought a used car from Granger Chrysler approximately 2 weeks ago for my son who recently graduated from High School. We had what someone might call a major break-down, the alternator gave out! Towed the car back to the dealer after less than 8 hours of driving of the lot! I called Eric (our sales Associate) first thing in the morning and I stopped out at the dealer ship to discuss options the following options.The service team identified that the alternator had failed, Granger's team then decided to replace the alternator! When I returned to pick up the car, the service tech reviewed the repair ticket with us and then said, "Sales has take care of the cost"! No real hassle, I didn't even have to ask or demand that something be done! Very personalized service and customer support! I will use Granger for next time I need to shop for a new or used vehicle.

The best testament to a business is whether or not you would refer them to family or friends. There is inherent risk if their experience doesn't live up to their expectations after you've told them how great it was. I have already recommended Granger Motors to two friends looking at purchasing a vehicle in the near future, so well done Granger Motors! Eric made me and my family feel comfortable and there was never a time I felt pressured about anything. They capped it off by having me work with Mike Anderson for the financing. He has kids so had some toys in his office for my 5 year old to occupy himself with while we did the paperwork. Thanks Mike!

I chose Granger Motors because I was tired of dealing with the large dealerships. I knew what kind of vehicle I was interested in and worked with Erin (internet sales) to arrange a test drive. After changing my mind a few times over the course of three days, I ended up with the vehicle that suited me best. They were very patient with me through the whole process. Erin's exact words were "We want to put you in the vehicle that is right for you and for you to be happy." I will definitely be returning to Granger Motors for future vehicle purchases!

Because of my credit I thought I would never own a new car. I started looking after our main vehicle was totaled. I went online and saw Granger Motors and thought I would give it a chance. I am so glad I did. Everyone there was so nice!! John Matthews was on top of everything. We emailed back and forth and when I finally went in to test drive, I signed the papers that same day. With my credit I knew my interest would be high but they were able to get it down by 8% compared to the company I was going through online. Robin Kluesner in financing was awesome. The only thing I wish I would have done was to get GAP. I would recommend Granger Motors every time.

Arin our Salesman was fantastic. He went the extra mile to make everything work. He was personable, stayed open late and even came in on his day off. He was easy to work with and really listened to what I wanted. I didn't appreciate the finance guy. I kept getting told everything was fine and approved but I didn't get my rate and payment details until closing. Of course at that time the rate was higher than anticipated. The finance guy acted like a salesman. I could see his sales pitch coming a mile away. He started with the sales pitch instead of the loan details so I was irritated from the beginning. Even if what he was selling was good, I wasn't going for it because of his approach. I don't want to be "sold" to. I want to be "spoken" to.

I started my car shopping online and Granger Motors had just what I was looking for. Andrew contacted me and we had a lot of emails back and forth. He was very helpful and professional and once I decided the Ford Edge was for me, we went to Granger to see it in person. I LOVED IT! Probably one of the best rides I've ever had. I found the help I needed and the car I wanted to purchase at Granger Motors. The whole possess took less than 6 hours. From the time I heard from my mechanic about my old car and the finding of my next car on Granger Motors web site only took about an hour. It took about an hour to get my old car from the mechanic to Granger Motors to be used as a trade in. The rest of the time was used at the dealership as they processed my paperwork and loan. Everyone I talked to was extremely helpful and made the whole experience very painless.

I was in search of a Ford Flex in a certain color with specific interior and options at a price I would consider. Found one 500 miles away, Granger Motors. I emailed the salesperson, Arin Jackson in hopes they still had the vehicle, he quickly replied. After several emails, phone calls and questions we had a deal. Arin was extremely patient with all my concerns. My husband and I begin our journey to Granger on New Years Day. Arin text me that night to make sure we arrived safely. The people at Granger Motors were so friendly and helpful with no pressure. By far the best dealership I worked with. They answered all my questions and the ones they didn't know off hand, they took the time to get me an answer. There was no pressure to move forward. Straight answers and easy to work with. Would highly recommend Granger Motors to anyone looking to buy. Loved that I could see their bottom line while shopping on line. My biggest gripe with other dealers online was having to "call to get pricing." Why would I want to call to get pricing when I am shopping online. By far the best and most user friendly online shopping experience as well.

Dwayne was great!! Went window shopping on black Friday started off in Ames then Boone stop at Granger Dwayne listen to what I wanted and he said they had one. Went and thawed it out (if you remember we had about an inch of ice that night) then told me take for a test drive that was about 2. Took for short drive and fell in love stopped back and asked if I could take to Grimes and show the wife. His answer was sure we close at 6.The follow Saturday went back in and we made the deal I could not refuse. Mike Anderson made it so easy and painless in doing the paper work. I bought many vehicles that the paper work was like buying a high pressure time share. I WOULD RECOMMAND EVERYONE THAT WANTS TO BE TREATED RIGHT GO THERE.!!!!!

Granger Motors has been our dealer of choice for many years. I recently was ready to purchase a different vehicle after driving my Jeep Commander which was also purchased from Granger Motors for 7 years. been looking for a new vehicle for a while, been to several dealership and also on their web pages, granger motors seemed to be cheaper then any other dealership in the metro, so i went to granger motors to look at ford trucks found 3 that i liked and one thing about when i was out their looking was not pressured by sales person, she listen to what i was looking for, went back 2nd time and looked again at ford trucks and ram trucks this time test drove the ford on the 1st visit, 2nd visit drove a ram, after working with Pam on both visits, i ended up buying a 2016 dodge ram 1500 instead of a 2015 f150, got better deal on the dodge, every one that helped me out there was nice, friendly, and they listened instead of trying to sell you something that you didn't want, i would advise if looking for a vehicle new or use go to granger motors they will treat you right, this was my 1st time buying a vehicle from granger motors and it won't be the last, have to check it out, won't be sorry

We purchased a new Town & Country Touring -L minivan last week, and we could not have been happier with the product or the process. The salesman (Eric Balk) was very knowledgeable and made the process very smooth and quick. The business manager who worked on our financing and the extended warranty did a fantastic job and even included our middle school aged children, making the process a teachable moment about how finance and credit work. We felt appreciated and comfortable during the entire process and not pressured at all. We purchased a used vehicle here 8 years ago and have been happy with their service. After a second purchase at Granger Motors last week (new vehicle this time) we were just as happy and will definitely return the next time we are in the market for a car. Thank you Granger Motors!

Trent Muhlenbrook is great and Steve Gee makes it all go perfectly smooth. This is the second Jeep I have purchased from Granger, and cannot imagine going anywhere else. Worth the short additional drive.

I purchased a 2015 Dodge Journey. It was a suprisingly amazing experience. Gordan (sales agent): didn't waste my time. He found the exact car I was looking for, brought me in and the entire event was seamless. He was extremely pleasant to work with. Finance: I feel terrible because I cannot think of the finance guy's name but he was really good. He spoke quickly when he needed to and went more slowly and in depth at the appropriate times. He was friendly and I felt confident that everything was covered when I had left. I was also impressed because everything was timed so well. The car was ready for me to test drive when I got there. While I did that they evaluated my trade-in. After the test drive I was escorted to the finance office. By the time I was done signing my life away my new car was cleaned, filled with gas, and ready for me to take it home. I have told everyone I could how wonderful my experience is and I am glad that we would will be servicing our vehicle there and we are planning to use Granger for any future purchases. Thank you all so much for a wonderful experience.

I originally wanted a used Jeep because I didn't think I could afford a new one, and did a lot research with pricing, etc. I decided to go to Granger Motors for the first time. Dwayne was very professional and personable. NO SALES PRESSURE. I decided to test drive a new Jeep Wrangler and it was "Love At First Sight/DRIVE". The price was lower than all the other dealerships I researched. The purchasing process was smooth. Received fair price for my trade-in, my new Jeep was prepped and I drove off the lot in blessed elation. I have never been happier purchasing a vehicle than from THIS team. I had just purchased another van at a different dealership & had problems. They didn't deal with my problem and after 3 days I went to Granger Motors. What a difference! They found a van that worked great for me, plus they have a 3 day happiness guarantee. If you're not happy within 3 days of buying your vehicle they take it back. Wish I had gone there first. STAY CLEAR OF THIS DEALER!Went to buy a new jeep and the dealer was more interested in telling us he had sold car for 25 years than helping us.He was a true blooded con artist!The dealership looks like an old shed from the 70's ... I kind of felt like we were in a horror movie and an man with an ax was going to come out and attack us from one of the creepy buildings on the lot.Salesman knew nothing about the vehicle we were interested in and had no care to even find out answers of our questions.BAD PLACE TO EVEN CONSIDER LOOKING FOR A JEEP!

John and Albert did a wonderful job helping me order my F150 and keeping me in the loop, of its arrival. I bought a Dodge Durango from them. Within the first few months it was in the shop. Factory recall. My Durango sat there for over a month. Now when i decide to get a second vehicle i went to their website and found a few trucks i liked. all the trucks that were for sale (used) had written above them, Power train warranty in big bold letters. When I clicked on them to view the vehicles it said in small print, this vehicle does not qualify for powere train warranty. Which is it? I called and talked to my old salesman Harold and asked him about it. He said none of them had the warranty. I asked him why then did it say otherwise on the advertisement? He said he noticed it before and said something about it. I said that is a bad tactic and false advertising, he agreed and said he would make a call and then hung up on me. I will never do business with this place again!

Within a few hours of contacting Granger Motors through cars.com (minutes actually, in "real time"... I sent off the information around 10 or 11pm and got a phone call the next morning right at 8 am!) I heard from Andrew regarding my inquiry. Since I had only begun the process of shopping for a used Jeep Liberty, I figured that the one on Granger's lot would be sold by the time my bank had financing ready. Andrew and his sales manager told me not to worry, they'd gladly hold onto the Jeep for me until the bank was ready! I was truly astounded... The truck is perfect! When I showed up to check it out, Andrew had it all shined up and ready to go. It is hard to tell that it's 3 years old and not fresh off the showroom floor. Even though it was a busy day on the sales floor, Andrew, Ray, and the rest of the staff had us satisfied and out the door in my new Jeep in very good time. This has truly been one of the best car-buying experiences I've had! I've already recommended Granger to a couple of friends who are looking to trade-up for a new car. I've purchased many cars throughout my lifetime but this was by far the best and quickest to date. My husband & I had been car shopping for about a month looking to replace his vehicle with no luck. Everything we looked at was either a piece of junk or overpriced to the max. I came across Granger Motors website and figured I'd go ahead and fill out an application thinking that with my not so perfect credit we'd get denied. To my surprise 2 hours later I got a call from Andrew asking me to call him back. When I spoke with Andrew I was clear that my credit was not great, told him how much money I had to put down and how much I could afford in a car payment monthly as I already have one that's almost $400 a month. He advised he's see what he could do. Within a few hours he called me back again to tell me we were approved but the original car I was looking at wouldn't meet their standards so he found a Ford Edge he thought we'd like. My husband and I looked at the car online that night and the next day I called Andrew to tell him we'd be out that night for a test drive. When we arrived Andrew was waiting with the car running and warmed up (never has this happened before I thought). We were also surprised as what we saw online was a 2008 Ford Edge but what was waiting was a 2010 Ford Edge. He explained that when the finance department ran our credit they ran it for the 2010 not the 2008. We test drove the car and were not in it 5 minutes before I looked at my husband and said I want this car. We returned to the car lot, advised Andrew it was what we wanted and within an hour we were driving away in our new vehicle. The experience with Granger Motors was by far the easiest, best, quickest car purchase I've ever had. Andrew was outstanding in his customer services/sale job. He didn't try to push us or tell us lies like so many other car lots do. He was also very friendly and easy going. We met with Ramon the business manager and also experienced great customer service as he explained the steps to us in a manner we could understand and answered all question with knowledge of exactly what he was doing and how to help us. We are so pleased with our purchase and if/when we're in the market for another vehicle Granger Motors will be our go to place as well as being referred for anyone we know looking for a good vehicle with good, no pressure sales people. My fiance and I purchased a used Honda CRV from Granger Motors in Feb. of 2015. We were a little hesitant with purchasing a Honda from a dealership that is not a Honda Dealer but after talking with the service and sales department I had not reservations. Their life time power train warranty put my mind at ease. The biggest thing that I can mention is that 3 days after purchasing the CRV we got a 9 inch crack in the windshield. Granger Motors didn't ask any questions. They got my car in the next business day, replaced the windshield for FREE and provided me with a rental for FREE until the windshield was replaced the same day. Amazing service and my favorite part was that the dealership has a small town family feel. Prompt return of phone calls and actually car about you and the car that they are putting you in!!! Very impressed.

I went to Granger because they had the features I wanted in a Ford F150 and at a lower price than all the other Ford dealers in the area. I didn't have to spend my whole day there and I got what I wanted and not what the dealership says I can get! Plus, they didn't low ball me on my trade, which is a major bonus! I originally came in to look at a car I had found online only to be told that it had been sold the prior night. I asked about a 2013 Hyundai Sonata I saw in the lot and John Matthews was very helpful. I took it out for a test drive and loved it. As others have mentioned, there was NO back and forth haggling over the price of the car or pressure to make the purchase NOW. After returning home, I did some more research on that car and was satisfied that the price they were asking was VERY competitive. John was very knowledgeable and professional. Before I left with the car I was shown the service department, where/how to contact John in the future with any questions and he even helped to get my phone linked up to the Bluetooth system in the car. All in all a very positive car buying experience!

This was the 5th vehicle I've purchased from Granger and all have been a great experience. I've always gotten straight-forward responses from staff and was taken care of at every step of the purchase process. We bought a 2007 Dodge Durango through Pam Jenkins and we couldn't be happier. Pam was very nice and patient with us. She treated our kids as if they were her own grandkids. We agreed on a price with very little hassle and absolutely no pressure. Pam was a pleasure to work with through the buying process. When she couldn't be there on the day we picked up our vehicle, Steve Gee stepped in and was very friendly and professional as well. The whole process was quick and efficient and we love our new vehicle.

I would recommend Granger Motors to everyone. They are so friendly and honest. We have no credit rating but they got us a very good rate and fair priced extended warranty compared to the one we just purchased a month ago at a different dealership. Better coverage at $700 less. We will to continue to purchase our vehicles there. You can't beat them.

Worked with the internet sales. The experience was extremely good. We were treated well and the staff was very accommodating. There was no pressure or big sales pitch. Everything was positive. We had lots of contact ahead of time and weren't surprised by anything.

Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful as soon as we walked in the door. The other dealerships that we have been too wouldn't welcome us as we walked in, we would have to go look for a saleman. It was also hard to get any help after they knew we were looking for a pre-owned car instead of a new vehicle. Granger motors was more then willing to help me find just what I wanted. The salesman that worked with me, eric, was great!! He really cared about making sure my experience was a good one. It was like buying a car from a friend that you could trust! I would recommend Granger motors to anyone!

Albert Schmidt was great to work with. Albert was very friendly and really seemed sincere and trustworthy with the information he provided. He was also very prompt about returning email replies and voice mails. We actually completed most of our deal on-line through email, which made it very simple to pick-up our new vehicle. I feel like I got a great deal and walked away from the dealership feeling proud of my purchase. Granger Motors provides great service with a smalltown feel. i was very pleased with the salesman and the finance department. Everything went very quickly and smoothly. It was a very good experience. The salesman was right on the ball after I sent in an email request on the vehicle I was looking at and then he took all my necessary information to get the ball rolling on getting me financed for the vehicle I was inquiring about. The finance people were very quick on the approval process and the paperwork was done very quickly and efficiently. I was approved within just a couple of hours and my payments were kept within my range i was looking for. Overall this was the best experience I have ever had when it comes to buying a car and I would recommend Granger Motors to my friends and family any time.

Great Dealership with fair prices. Personnel very helpful and are very willing to go the extra mile that made my experience very enjoyable. I was looking for a late model F150 pickup and had stopped at all the Ford dealerships within a 50 mile radius. Granger Motor had the pickup I wanted at a price I was even happier about.

Pam, my salesperson, was very easy going and non-agressive. She was not your typical car salesperson in that she did not put a single ounce of pressure on us. The truck is spotless with only 3 tiny rock chips in it, low miles and $3,000 under book value. My wife and I drove it for a whole hour and they didn't care at all. They went above and beyond by even trading my 4 wheeler and a trailer to help get the payments lower. The best part of all, the truck comes with a lifetime powertrain warranty. The paperwork signing was quick and easy. I was in and out in under 15 minutes.

From the time I pulled on the lot till I drove off in my 08 Commander I was very satisfied.Everyone I came across asked me if there was anything they could do to help.It made me feel like everyone there really cared.Albert made the whole transaction seem like he knew what I needed and he would do whatever it took to make it happen.His pesentation on all the bells and wistles was above and beyond any thing I expected.It has helped us get in and enjoy our new car almost imeadiatly.We could not have done that without the extra time he spent with us.I left with the feeling that I could contact him any time with questions or concerns even if it didnt have something to do with our puchase.All in all it was a great day!

Had a wonderfull experience and would recomend this dealer to anyone. They allowed they to test drive the vehicle as far as I needed. They seemed very concerned to show me various items where rust starts since the pickup was from Michigan, to verify that rust had not started in these areas.

I did quite a bit of research and found the best price at Granger Motors. I also recieved a $3500 rebate that I wasn't expecting. The auto for life program is a bit vague and I don't see myself ever being able to take advantage of it so I couldn't give a "great" score on overall expirience. It seems like it could be easily voided.

Pam Jenkins and Granger Motors have always treated me fair in my deals on New vehicles. This is the 2nd new vechile I have purchased from Pam. What I really like about the sales style from Pam and Granger Motors and that you deal with the Sales Person and not turned over to a Sales Manager who high pressures you trying to get you to buy now. Pam gives you a couple of days to think about offer if your not ready to do something today and then follows up to see what other info is needed to make the sale. I'm a person who shops&compares what I feel is best value for me. The service dept is great-always completing the service work on my wifes car in a timely manner and correctly. They always have answered any question I have before I leave the service dept.

Bob listened to what we wanted, stayed within our budget and found us the perfect van to meet our needs. Granger offered large selection without the big dealership hassles. No tricks, just straightforward honesty. We were told by big city dealers we wouldn't find what we were looking for in our price range, that we would have to compromise. The service staff works with you if it is an oil change, factory recall or repairs.They do there there best to get it done in a timely manner.
