Today I went to get my truck serviced today with no appointment. I was greeted by a lady in the service department named Lucinda. She was very courteous. While filling out my information she notice that I live in an area that was affected by Hurricane Ida and she asked if we made out ok. Unfortunately we did not my house was flooded my family and I lost everything. She was incredibly sensitive to the situation and it was greatly appreciated. Within an hour I received a text saying that my truck was ready. When I returned to pick up my truck I was informed that my service work was completed and paid for by the service department. I was and am still completely blown away by this generous gesture. This meant more to me than I could ever explain and I'm sorry for not expressing it more. I never right full reviews but this needed to be done. Thank you to the service department. My next ford will be purchased from Gray-Daniels.

Made an appointment one week in advance to have my truck serviced (oil change, tire rotation, air filter, etc.) when I arrive to drop my truck off they proceed to tell me they are a week out and I would have to literally drop my truck off with them for an entire week. Just to get a routine service?!! I don’t know a single person that would be able to go a week without their truck just so their oil could be changed. Not to mention this is the SECOND time this has happened to me at this dealership. I figured the first time was a mix up but nope. Steer clear of their service department people.

UNHAPPY CUSTOMER…..I purchased a 2021 Ford F-150..”Flash” is a great salesman.He works at Gray Daniels Ford in Brandon and met me at a lot in North Jackson to show me truck that I was interested in. My issue is with the Finance Manager. Beware ladies!!! Do you want a commission that bad that you would put nearly $10,000 worth of warranties on a vehicle with 100 miles on it. I was promised leather seats, I have had the vehicle for 2 weeks and haven’t heard anything regarding the leather seat installation. My “I owe You” leather seats copy mysteriously disappeared, go figure. What ever happened to customer satisfaction. It’s more like finance manager fat pocket satisfaction.

*This is my experience with repairing my 2012 Ford Focus SEL for transmission shudder issues at this dealer.*I took my car in for transmission shuddering issues one day shortly after I bought the car from another dealer and it was used. Not many miles on it. I brought the car in and mentioned my problem and also my knowledge of a "Field Service Action" by Ford Motor Company to fix the transmission clutches and seals, and sometimes the transmission control module as well. The service guy said that they will have to do measurements of certain vibrations and all of that. I told him to do whatever they need to do. After a bit of time they called me and said that they have done some software updates, but the shudder that I was feeling got dismissed because the guy told me that its normal due to the type of transmission that car had. I went home and did some research. So I educated myself on the type of transmission that car had in it. So I took no further action, thinking that the shudder was normal. Even though it was already excessive! So I tried my best to overlook the problem and continued to drive the car normally. After few months the shuddering became so bad that the car began to launch me in front of lights, stop signs, oncoming traffic, etc. It randomly uplifted, downshifted, and sometimes didn't even engage. Low speeds were near impossible to drive at. The car became unsafe to drive. I was afraid that I will hit something or someone or vise versa. Then the transmission control module went out. They replaced it. I mentioned the shudder issue again. They told me that it needs a new sets of clutches, and seals. But it would take 6-8 weeks to get them in. I said okay, and continued to drive the car. Worst two months ever. On the 7th week of waiting, I placed a call to Ford corporate office, and complained. I asked for something different to drive while they wait for clutches, or to hurry up and get the clutches in to the dealer. The car was on a verge or being not drivable. I was told that I would be contacted within a week by a regional manager. I was contacted by someone else filling in for her, then the dealer got the part in, 3 days after I called corporate. They fixed the car. regional manager called and asked if I was happy with the repair. I answered accordingly. This experience has been horrific for me and I blame Ford Motor Company for all of this. The dealership got me a bit upset the first time they dismissed the problem. But when my car was called in to be fixed, the guy that helped was Jason. And he was very nice, attentive, and considering. He made sure that everything was good and done. Gave me his contact info and said to check back in if any issues arise. So far the car has been driving much better. Some switching is still felt, but its insignificant. Ford needs to get rid of the PowerShift transmissions, they don't work in USA. And people are very angry and upset, but most importantly.. endangered by this product. Roll out a mandatory recall!!There are countless of lawsuit going on. Class action, lemon law, etc. People are going to loose jobs at Michigan plant. Ford is only hurting itself.

I had the very popular "shudder" problem or vibration between 40-50 mph on my F150. I decided to take it to the dealer(gray Daniels Ford Brandon, MS) to let them check it out. I pulled in to the service garage and got out of my truck. I was immediately approached by a service rep who asked what was going on with my truck, so I explained the trouble I was having. He asked for my keys and showed me to the waiting room. 2-3 minutes later he hurries in the waiting room with a printout of my tire alignment and says "hey, did you know your tires are out of alignment? We can do an alignment for $69.95 and get that taken care of for you". I chuckled on the inside because I just had an alignment done 2 days ago and had not even driven the truck 20 miles and didn't hit any potholes or anything that could've caused them to go out of alignment. Anyways, I told them no and continued to wait while they diagnosed my truck. It was a little over an hour and the service rep came in and said "My technician says he can do a transmission flush and that would be $475 and that might fix it(might fix it???) for you but can't guarantee it would solve the problem. If the flush doesn't fix it he said it's most likely(Most likely???) the torque converter and we could change it for $1400+ tax and any additional parts"(additional parts???) I told them no thanks and that I would seek other options. I paid for the diagnostic fee and left. I did a little research online and called 6 transmission service shops to get their opinion and confirm if the symptoms were in fact the "shudder" from the torque converter failing. Each of them agreed that it most definitely was in fact the torque converter. I asked for a price quote to install a new torque converter from each of them and 5 out of 6 had the same $650 price and one was $750. I decided to save even more money by going to get the torque converter myself for $149 and then only had to pay labor which was $450 ($50 savings by picking it up myself). My experience is typical of the day to day operations at these dealerships and I feel bad for the unknowing and elderly people who get taken to the cleaners each time they bring in their vehicles. This was my 3rd time having similar dealings with this dealership and bringing to light their exorbitant fees. I kept going back just to see if it really was like this EVERY TIME so I can only assume that it's the same situation for anybody else that goes in and they simply just aren't aware. I highly suggest that anyone who goes here or any dealership for that matter gets a second opinion before agreeing to any services. Dealerships service department are only in it for the money so don't be fooled by the extremely nice and oh so helpful service rep(keep in mind he gets commission on what he sells you). Take 5 minutes and research what they are trying to sell you and call around to other places and get quotes on that same service.

We were traveling through Brandon and starting having problems with our F-150. We saw the big "oval in the sky", and decided to stop to see if anything could be done to our vehicle to get us home.It was 4:00 on a Friday and we knew it was quitting time for them soon. We explained that we were just passing through and wanted see if anything could be done to fix our truck. They happen to have a tech who had just finished a job and could look at our truck. They found the problem in 30 mins and has us fixed up and back on the road. What a great bunch of people who went above and beyond to help us out. They were some of the nicest folks we have ever met at a dealership. Thanks a bunch to the service team at Gray-Daniels Ford. This is why we buy Fords.

I was looking to purchase a 2014 Honda Odyssey from this dealership. Internet manager had absolutely terrible communication. After not hearing back from them after I had emailed them he procedes to tell me that the vehicle is sold. I didn't believe it so I called the dealership. It was not sold, but they said they can't sell it so it will go to an auction?? A few days later they had new pictures up of the vehicle, still on the lot. Never had a dealership try so hard to dodge a customer.

I have purchased my last 3 vehicles from Gray Daniels Ford in Brandon and have been pleased with my experience there. I thought there would be major problems when there was a sudden change of personnel while I was in the middle of placing a special order for a handicap modified 2015 Transit Connect Wagon but Jim Cantrell, Jeff Lowe & Jeff Caron took over and got the vehicle equipped and corrected so it was just right for me. When it comes time for my next vehicle I will be heading over to Brandon again.

Bought a used 2009 mustang roush p-51b. Was happy bout the price and dealing with the salesman and everything. The problem came when the clutch started slipping after 2 days of having the car. Took it back to them and it took them close to 2 weeks to figure out what was wrong with the car and it was the clutch,flywheel,and master cylinder. They have had the car 4 weeks and don't even have the parts yet. Just really sad that a good sized dealership like that can't do simple services.

I purchased a 2010 Ford Fusion with an extended warranty from the used car supercenter. The next day the check engine light came on. I called the saleswoman who told me to call the warranty company. I called the warranty company, only to be told that they did not have my paperwork yet and that I should call the dealership back. I called the dealership back and was told that it would take 10 days for my paperwork to go through so I waited. A few days later after I put gas in my car, it would not start the first time. Then it started, but shook very badly for a few minutes. It also began shaking while I was stopped at a red light. I called the dealership back to see if they could expedite the paperwork process so that I could get my car repaired as soon as possible. I was then told by the same saleswoman that they told me when I bought the car that my warranty wouldn't go into effect for 30 days, even though I wasn't and my contract states that coverage begins on the date that it was purchased. I then called to talk to the "sales manager" and was told that everything would be taken care of if I brought it to the dealership. I called back before I brought it in, only to be told by a different person that they weren't going to cover the repairs because I bought the car "as is." I am absolutely furious at this point because they have been giving me the runaround for a week now. I am pretty sure that they knew this was a problem before they gave me the car because they filled it up before I left the dealership. It is safe to say that I will never be buying another car from this dealership.

While researching used Mustang prices I came across Gray-Daniels Ford on TrueCar. Their internet sales rep, Steven Graham reached out and let me know he would help me track down the vehicle I was looking for. Steve sent a couple different options before I ever went to visit him at the dealership. Once I finally made it to the dealership Steve found a the right car for me at the right price and had it delivered from another dealer. The best part is Gray-Daniels was able to get me into a new car for a price I could afford. The worked with me for a couple of days to get the deal right and both Steve and Casey went out of their way to make themselves available around the demands of my busy schedule, not vise versa. After buying the car Steve sent me an e-mail saying, "I want to assure you that taking care of my customer's needs after the sale is completed is something I take very seriously. I believe it's the cornerstone to a great relationship with my clients. I will always go the extra mile if possible, and I'm never more than a phone call or email away to assist with anything you need. There's no expiration date on my commitment to give you the very best service." Based on my experience I believe him. I had no intention of buying a new car. I'm glad I went to see Steve at Gray-Daniels Ford.

Mr. Williams was very helpful in the selection of my new Ford. My only complaint is the finance department. I have a credit rating over 800 and the best interest rate they could offer was 5%. There were other dealers and credit unions offering much less.

I purchased a 2011 Dodge Durango from there used lot. Less than two weeks later the check engine light came on. I took the truck back to the dealership and was told to carry it to the Dodge dealership and that whatever needed to be done would be taken care of. The Dodge dealership inspected the vehicle and explained that the truck needed a complete engine rebuild due to bad cylinders. They ordered the parts; however, it took over a month for the parts to come in. Once the parts were in they explained that it would take up to 10 days for the repairs and to contact Grey Daniels for a loaner car. I contacted Grey Daniels and was told they would not assist me in the matter. They sold me a truck that they had to have known needed the engine work, and although the work would be completed under the powertrain warranty, they would not even assist me with transportation while the repairs were being done.

Bought 2 vehicles at same time, a 2009 Ford 350 diesel truck and a 2012 Lincoln. Very first night started having problems with the truck. Took it back and was informed we would be footing the bill (over $700). After several phone calls and ultimately having to speak with the manager, they reluctantly agreed to fix it at the same time acted as though they were doing us a favor. They said it was a routine maintenence problem even though we had only had the truck less than 24 hrs when it started having issues. We bought the truck in good faith assuming Gray Daniels had checked it but was mistaken. Seems they did not even check the hoses on it because it was also leaking coolant as well as the other problems. No trust in them now. We feel like they sold us a lemon and then tried to backpeddle out of fixing it. We bought the truck to pull a camper, now we are afraid to do that as it may put our family at risk. Should have listened to friends when they said the dealership had gone down in the last few years. They were right. Thinking possible legal action if it continues to have problems.

On the other hand, the financial guy hurried me through, talking around me, as far as best interest rate,warranty etc. He lead me to believe I couldn't get the best rate unless I got certain warranty.

Bought 2011 F150 still under warranty. Could not find keyless entry door code. Asked salesman repeatedly for it. Asked sales manager for it. Was told it would be $75 charge to retrieve code. Truck will end up costing me 30k and they can't supply keyless code? I called Watson Quality and they said that their policy is to get code at time of trade or supply new one. Lesson learned. Go to Watson Quality from now on.

I will deal with the new car sales department but as far as the used no. There custumer service after the sale is horrible. We had not even driven the car 500 miles when we started having trouble. The warranty they sold us that we were told covered bumper to bumper didn't cover this part, and the 3 month or 3,000 mile warranty that was on the window sticker didn't apply since we bought the other warranty and they kept giving us the run around sending us to different people. We ended up at the New car sales floor and they helped us with the problem and also got us the second set of keys we were told they had and didn't. I will deal with the new car sales and plan on buying a new car in the next two years. The Chevy dealer and New Car Ford Sales went out of their way to help us, where the used car where we bought the car did nothing.

Customer service was great from the start. Even though the Saleman (Casey) hada appointment with a customer coming. He was willing to do whatever it tookto find the (used car) we was looking for.It was getting close to his appointmenttime with another customer. He ask could he turn us over to another saleman(Richard).We had no problem with that, Because ever since we had been there we was treadedas if we owned the dealership. To say I am extremely disappointed by my experience is an understatement. The salesman Anthony seemed to be ok but he handed my husband and I off to a Johnny that was less than helpful. He did not seem to want to sell the used truck. Once we agreed on a price, my husband signed the paper work and I wrote a check. 1. They did not detail the truck at all. It was dirty. 2. They did not provide me with any paper work. The computers were down when the store opened at 8 am. I understand that things go down but my husband called back around noon and Johnny said he would call us back and he never did. 3. At 4:30 pm I went back to the Dealership and Johnny would not even come over from the other lot he talked to Anthony on the cell phone and still the paper work had not been done. I finally got the paper work on the truck late Saturday afternoon. The guy that processed the paper work was more helpful that the salesmen. I complained to the gentlemen at the counter and he seemed less than concerned. Service is all a Dealership has to offer and Gray-Daniels Ford fell very very short of providing basic service.
