Service person at Grossman Nissan was very condescending to both my husband and me on separate occasions when we brought our Nissan Leaf in for service. In addition to being incredibly rude, unhelpful and dismissive, he also kept insisting that my (fully-electric) Leaf needed oil changes, and that the onus was on me to read my owner's manual to find out when to get those oil changes done. I will not be returning to Grossman Nissan.

We purchased a vehicle from Grossman Nissan about a year ago. We took it in for an oil change and tire rotation. The next day my wife noticed a severe vibration in the car. When I looked at the wheels, the left rear wheel was missing the locking lug nut and all the other lug nuts were only finger tight. She commutes on the highway and could have been severely injured or worse if this wheel had fallen off. I tightened the lug nuts and she went back to have it thoroughly checked at Grossman's. The service staff simply checked that the lug nuts were tight, never offered an apology and generally didn't seem to care. We will never go back to this dealership and would recommend nobody else does either.

I've recently bought a used Murano from Grossman, and my fiance and I were incredibly impressed by this dealership. We had been shopping around at dealerships for weeks, and Grossman was the only dealership that didn't make us feel hassled or pressured. They allowed us to shop on our terms, not theirs. Our saleswoman, Susan, was fantastic. She is a real asset to the company. She made sure that we got the best deal possible, and we felt like old friends by the time that we left with our new car. This dealership bent over backwards to accommodate our needs, and my Murano is secondary to amazing experience that we had. As we both told Susan as we were leaving, we bought our car because of the integrity and friendliness of the staff at Grossman's. We look forward to doing business with them again, and cannot wait to recommend the dealership to our friends and family when necessary.

Ali ran my credit numerous times without telling me. I ask him about getting approved with bad credit he says they had bank for that. Yet he ending up.running my credit 6 times have denied. I told him stop running credit it is hurts my score . They have bank but you got me denied six times with letters prove it. These guys are scammers. Stay away hope owners read this

Beware of unclear practices, questionable mechanics and undisclosed fees. I contacted Grossman Nissan, in regard to a car that they had listed. Initially they were helpful although inconsistent about some discrepancies in mileage. In the end, there were less miles than anticipated which is a plus, but also reflective of their lack of efficiency. I spoke with multiple agents in the process who were polite prior to the sale. Garret was willing to go over numbers and we reviewed numbers four times prior to me picking up the car. I also had a mechanic look at the car and he identified some issues with the breaks, routers and tires. Garret spoke with his mechanic and confirmed that they could fix the problems. They frequently reminded me of what a great deal I was getting, although I was paying their listing price. When I picked up the car, I was on a very limited time frame. I had discussed this ahead of time and was reassured that 1.5 hours was sufficient since we had reviewed everything. This is my first mistake as you should never trust a dealer to have your best interests at heart. I thought that we had teased out all of the numbers and mechanical requests. Mike, was new and therefore struggled to input the information in the new data system. He was polite, but spent a significant amount of time typing and then having to retype information. After all of the paperwork was printed I noticed a $115 wheel locking fee that was not disclosed. Garret and I had reviewed the numbers down to the penny. This was never disclosed, however I was told that it was a mandatory service. Also, on my way out they provided me with a copy of the mechanical work that they were supposed to correct. It noted that they utilized used tires instead of new tires to correct the problem. While that may have been feasible and cost effective for them, this should have been discussed. I also received a voicemail a few hours after the transaction from Mike, stating that he forgot to give me my registration paperwork. I returned his call on Saturday but didn't hear anything. I called again on Tuesday, to discuss this issue as well as my displeasure with the lack of transparency. This is where Grossman falls apart. While I was a paying customer, they were more than respectful and polite. Since I have signed the paperwork, they are no longer willing to discuss things and Robin insists that I should be happy because I got a good deal. I am not asking for any financial compensation or anything of that nature but wished to express my frustration with the lack of clarity. Robin continued to excuse the use of used tires and the undisclosed fees because I got a steal and they lost money. The problem with that logic, is that I paid what they asked for. If it wasn't a deal that they were prepared to make, than they shouldn't have offered the car at that price. You cannot justify questionable practices by insisting that I got a nice deal. It was amazing to see the drastic difference in the way Robin handles customers pre and post commission. Up until the final sale and my finer review of the paperwork, I was happy with my experience. People have such qualms with dealerships for the reasons Ive listed above. Unfortunately, Grossman is just like every other dealership. Do not trust them to be transparent and forthcoming. Ensure that you double check everything and request any other agent than Robin.

I recently purchased a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 from this dealer and I must say....from start to finish the entire experience was pleasant. Unlike most car dealerships where you're bombarded by the salesmen, this dealer was reserved and friendly the entire time. They provided great information about the vehicle and never once told a lie for their benefit. Jesus Hernandez sold the truck to me and he was very enjoyable to work with. I was able to purchase and leave with the truck on Sunday on a holiday weekend...Tammy Hayward was fantastic in making things happen fast. They also didn't try to rip me off on my trade-in...which is unusual these days with car dealers. I would suggest buying any vehicle this dealer offers to anyone!

I feel that a week is enough time to address a problem. Nothing has been done to rectify it so I will share it publicly. Although my interaction with the sales department was great, the two times that I have dealt with the Service Department at Grossman have been absolutely terrible. On my first visit in January, my axleback exhaust was unevenly installed (crooked) and the mileage was wrongly entered in the system, which provided conflicting information on my Carfax report. I found this out at another installation during a service visit. My second visit consisted of addressing those two previous issues, replacing a windshield wiper cover, a trunk sticker, a weathered/faded leather seat cover and mainly addressing a manufacturer defect that is causing my trunk-lid to rub on my rear bumper and wear away the paint at two specific spots on the edges..After a day, I got a call to tell me that the last two items wouldn't be covered. The seat wasn't ripped enough to them and the trunklid didn't touch enough. When I mentioned that this happened over time, the service manager told me that a stone was probably the cause. My degree is not in engineering but common sense would tell you that is almost impossible based on location. It's obvious the paint overspray is at fault. When I went to pick up the car, the floor was muddy and the vehicle had 2 dents on either side of it, which I know weren't there since I had washed it that morning. I gave them the benefit of the doubt on the first visit but this time around is unacceptable.At this point, all I can say is that is how you lose customers. Not only to refuse warranty repairs but to try to navigate their way out of fixing the damage caused during the last visit speaks volumes to their integrity. So much for their motto. Only 1 out of 4 people apologized to me for the dents and not surprisingly, he was from the Sales side of things (which I did appreciate). I just can't recommend them after this.Update:At the very least, the dents are finally being addressed.

After research and comparrison shopping, we purchased a fourth vehicle from Grossman Nissan. We appreciate their straight-forward, no-nonsense pricing and trade negotiations seldom found at other dealerships. Overall, the Grossman sales staff is friendly and the showroom atmosphere relaxed but professional. Personnel treat the customer with respect and follow a no-pressure, reasonable, and fair business model. In additon, our experience with the Grossman service department has been positive. Service personnel are equally friendly, helpful, and accomodating.As a rule I do not recommend car dealerships but give high praise in the case of Grossman Nissan.

In the end I ended up getting the S model. The team worked with us to get a good price and good trade-in after some negotiation. The finance woman, Tammy, was also exceptional. When I decided to purchase a new Nissan, I went to another Nissan dealership I had bought from in the past, but this time I found them overly aggressive and not customer friendly. So I filled out an on-line inquiry to the Grossman dealership and received a follow up call from Jym. He was extremely helpful, answering all my questions, without being pushy or trying to get me to come into the dealership. After a lengthy conversation, I decided I wanted to do business with this friendly, helpful dealership. So without any pressure, I chose to make an appointment. I met with Nick and had a test drive on the car I wanted. I felt the staff, Jym, Nick and Tim respected my time and worked to accommodate my needs. I felt the price was fair and to my delight, there was no back and forth haggling and no high pressure to buy. After the sale, Nick did a thorough job in going over all the mechanics,functions and features of the car so when I drove away I understood everything about the car. The follow up from the sales staff and the service department has been outstanding. While it is always challenging to purchase/lease a new car my experiences with the Nissan team listed above was excellent.During a 3 week span my wife leased a new Nissan Maxima, and I purchased a new Pathfinder.Primarily working with Jym we were efficiently able to come to agreement on the options and the pricing (and in the Pathfinder purchase the trade-in value). Jym was particularly effective since I was an "educated buyer" and had done a reasonable amount of research on the cars and the pricing. Jym handled my questions professionally and was always pleasant and understanding of my concerns. He listened well, was open and candid, and clearly explained to me what he could and couldn't do. It is not everyday that a customer could consider someone in Jym's role as trusting but I certainly feel that way. In addition this happened over a number of iterations with me bringing additional ideas to Jym, which he graciously handled.Jym was also quite resourceful in locating the exact(interior,exterior color and options) cars that my wife and I wanted.Overall he is a very positive asset to your Dealership and I wouldnt hesitate to come back to the dealership and work with him in the future.In addition we spent considerable time with John in doing most of the upfront paperwork and in deliverying the cars to us. He was also a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable on the cars. Great sense of humor.From a financial perspective we dealt with Tammy who also was quite pleasant, a good personality with an excellent sense of humor, and very knowledgeable and efficient. We got thru all of the paperwork in a very efficient manner.Overall,we had an excellent experience with these people and they operated as a very professional and effective team. I did not buy my Jeep at this dealership and had been going to Papas Dodge in New Britain. After several bad experiences there, I decided to call Grossman's on the advice of a friend. Tim Emrich took my phone call, encouraged me to bring car in the same day, got me a loaner for the day as my car was being fixed and the price I was given was well bellow what the other estimate I got for the same work. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, but I never really had a chance to enjoy it as there was no waiting. As a single working mom with two kids, I can't be without a car that works and is safe. Also, every household dollar counts. I will definitely come back to Grossman and tell my friends the same. Keep up the good work.

The guys were great and very friendly. We had our 4 month old with us and were accommodating . They gave us a good deal although you always think the price could come down lower. I very pleased because I'm in a brand new truck and now I have a great warranty and safer for my family. Wife needed a new car, so she tried a few local dealers and models..she went with a Nissan Rogue.The dealer was very friendly and knowledgeable about the product, and was good at going over all the selling points . No hi-pressure stuff, just laid back and "Nice" they did two separate test drives on different days, and let her make up her own mind.. no constant calls, etc. Overall a very good sales dept, and this made for a very pleasant car buying experience..it is a new car, so I have not had any dealings with the service dept. yet

All employees are very friendly and responsive. I bought my last truck here in 2010 and I returned today to get my 2012.Garrett, the Internet manager responded to my requests in a timlely manner. He was polite and knowledgable. He handed off the sale to Chris, a brand new sales person. Chris was polite and helpful, although obviously new and nervous. Garrett oversaw him to ensure success.The buisness manager was excellent. Very professional while being very personable. Finally the service manger helped out at the end as there was a mishap with my trailer hitch and he took care of the issue right away.I have before and will continue to recommend Grossmans.

These guys were great and i feel like they really went out of their way to make sure that my experience was good. I was trading a car and i owed too much on it. I was worried someone would take advantage of me and hike the interest rate and payments. I told them what my budget was and they showed me cars that would work in my range. I picked the one i liked and took it home that day. Joe worked really hard to get me a good interest rate and made sure the payments were in my range. I would definitely recommend them. i never thought i could afford a new Altima but it's perfect! and i love it!

I cannot begin to thank Grossman Nissan enough...i was in a panic. It was a friday and my car was making a strange noise from the back and i was supposed to go out of town to be at a wedding. I called Grossman at around 10 am and spoke to Bill. He listened to my dilemma and had me bring the car down right away on my lunch break. He got me a ride back to the office and called about an hour later to tell me what they had found. I needed a part that they didn't have in stock but he had found one at another dealership and was sending a salesman to pick the part up for me. The part didn't make it back to the dealership until about 4 o'clock. Bill had someone stay late to get started on it and then they finished installing it in the morning. I picked up my car at 10 on saturday and made it to my 1 pm wedding in Portsmouth!!'Thank you!!!!!

I bought an expensive car from them hoping not to have to keep pouring money into a car every month or two. Now I'm paying an insane car payment and pouring money into my car. I've had my car for about 14 months and its been in the shop about 7 times. I purchased the extended warranty, which covers apparently nothing. I dropped off my car on Friday because something else was broken, they kept it all weekend. I specifically asked them not to do any work on my car without calling me to give me an estimated price. I never heard from them and when I got there to pick it up I had a $688 bill, (my car needed a $14 part). My father is a mechanic he could have very well done this job for me had they called me to tell me what wa wrong. Now I'm out $688 and my car payment for the month. I'm so beyond frustrated with this dealership, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Do your homework before buying a car from them, my cars not the first I know this had happened to from this dealership. Typical car salesman that make everything sound great and then screw you over.

A brutal and extremely painful process.My family had previously had great experiences with Grossman Nissan and strongly reocmmended them to me. I show up at the dealer having done all my research. I knew the car I wanted, I knew the price, I knew the dealer. I had a preapproved loan, in hand.With that said the dealership completely botched the process. I was told I was "approved" for a lower interest rate than my other loan but when I showed up 24 hours later to sit with the "financial manager" I was not longer approved. I was rushed through the paperwork with little to no explanation on what I was signing. As I stand up to leave I see the dealer slipped in $2500 in insurance and warranties that I was never told about and definetly never agreed to pay. He also was unaware of the deposit I had put down the pay before.When confronted the manager and dealer play dumb, saying that 98% of people get it and he "figure" I would want it. Unbelievable. Problem after problem... Wouldn't answer questions, or return phone calls, or respond to emails. It's all smiles until they get the check, and then we felt like we were completely on our own. It was a certified vehicle that had to immediately be brought to my local dealer, and it never had a state inspection.. Fortunately, we'll never have to go back there again. It seemed like it was their first time doing this. Very unprofessional, young and inexperienced. Not satisfied at all..

Grossman Chevrolet stinks. They don't know how to inflate tires, or properly "address" each tire pressure sensor in the vehicle's control system. I bought the vehicle from them and they have serviced it since new. They rotated the tires but did not correct addresses of wheels in the computer system, so when left rear tire was low on air, the onboard computer system thought it was the left front tire that was low. At the next service, they kindly set tire pressure in all four (4) wheels to 35 psig, when appropriate pressure for the vehicle is 42 - 45 psig. They must not have checked their work at all because ALL tire pressure alarms went off as I drove out of the dealership. They don't deserve my repeated business or yours.

Right from the start I was greeted with a very friendly hello by Greg who asked politley if their was anything that he could do for me. We had a friendly conversation and discussed what I was interested in. He showed me around the lot and we looked at a number of different cars with various options. He answered all of my questions and at no point did I feel pressured in any way. I drive 30-35K miles per year for work and currently own a 2009 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI. My son will begin commutting to College in the fall and we wanted to get another high MPG car and were negotiating with the VW dealer for a Golf TDI because of my great experience with my car. I brought the whole family down a couple of days later and we test drove the Chevy Cruze ECO. We liked the ride and handling and all of the safety features that were included. Greg explained all of the features and we began to negotiate a deal. The only feature that we were looking for but did not get was the spare tire. Greg offered to find a comparable model with spare from another dealer but we made an offer for the one they had in stock. We feel that we were able to get a very fair price on a very fine car and had a positive experience due to the professionalism of both Greg and Guy.

What an amazing experience. This dealership treated me like a person instead of just another sales figure. I was recently involved in an accident and my beloved Jeep Grand Cherokee was totaled. I had a very hard time getting financed for a replacement car and then a friend suggested I go to Grossman Nissan. What a difference! They actually cared about me and not just my money. Guy and Linda made a miracle happen and now I have a beautiful Nissan Rogue SL. I could not be more pleased with both the car and the incredible service provided to me by Grossman Nissan. They are friendly, professional and really went above and beyond to help me. I will always be thankful that I went there and plan on telling everyone I come across to go there if they are looking for a car.

This is the second car i have purchased from Grossman, John Lacastro is the greatest salesman i have ever dealt with. Before i bought the cars i have, i went to other dealerships and every salesman i encountered was either pushy, to aggresive, some had no personality along with numerous other bad qualities. Mr Lacastro treats you like he has known you forever, he is very helpful and genuinely concerned that you are happy and satisfied and does everything possible to make the car buying experience a positive one. The second car i purchased is for my daughter and he included her in all the details and made sure she was happy with the car. My kids joked with him and were very comfortable with him. I love my new Chevy Equinox. Greg was extremely informative about the vehicle and just a really nice guy. He answered all of our questions and was patient while I made my decision. My Wive and I had a very pleasant Experience in Leasing a 2011 Chevy MALIBU. We are Senior Citizen and our Salesman Mile Kievits was very patient with us because this was the first time that we had leased a car After making our purchased we said to Mike that we would pick up the car in 2 days. Mike said no way and informed us that we would have our car in approximately two hours. Which we did .When he delivered the car to us he showed us how to sign up for On Star, how to use the controls located on the steering wheel and the Satellite Radio. Which was new to us.We then went to the gas station and Grossman paid for a full tank of gas.By the way the price for the lease was as advertise.This was the second car that we acquired from Grossman and will definitely purchased orlease our next car from Grossman

Bottom line, buying a car is a stressful experience. I recommend doing your homework, as well as getting 2-3 estimates. Grossman was willing to meet a lower estimate that I'd received, which was great, and very helpful since we live closer to their dealership. Linda Grossman is very friendly, likable, and professional. Brian, our sales consultant was friendly and well knowledgeable about the vehicle we were interested in, and bought.

I got the runaround on my 2008 altima from 2 different dealers. The car would not start and no one could figure out why. Everytime i picked it up they said they could not duplicate the problem. I was very upset because i am a single working mom and if my car doesn't start i can't take care of my family. Don was extremely helpful and really seemed to care about me and my car. He arranged substitute transportation and kept my car until they got it fixed. It's nice to know there are people out there that are really concerned about your well-being.

I have a 2003 Altima which has needed several repairs, the first being a complete engine replacement required because of a faulty part that was recalled around the same time. Anyhow, I have nothing but praise for the guys here. They always treat me with respect and go out of their way to make sure that my car is serviced only for the repairs that are absolutely necessary. If a repair can be put off without detriment they will advise me of such and give me a time frame to expect to have it serviced and let me know what to watch/listen for in the future. I recently had a problem with a dealer in Maine who swindled me when I had a repair emergency on vacation. Gary Arms (GSM) has been incredibly helpful and has gone out of his way to assist me in rectifying this matter. We are still working on it, but Gary hasn't given up. I am thankful to the whole team for their honesty and superior customer service.

I was met by a salesman a little disgruntled because he wasnt the one who took my call gave me test ride in car got back to the show room I am only customer there asked him to give me best price on the car he said what do I currently pay a month for my car I said that doesnt matter what matter is the price you give me for this new car Said I was in luck tonight as the owner Linda Grossman was here to give me best deal I waited in the empty show room where I could see the two of them speaking After ten minutes with no one returning to the desk at which I was seated I left the show room. Their level of service and attention to detail was second to none. They made the process simple and convenient. I found the vehicle I was looking for online. I called ahead to Shannon Dunn, internet manager, and he was able to locate the vehicle and offer me the best price. Once I arrived at the dealership, he had the vehicle waiting for me out front to test drive. Jay Johnson, the sales rep, went along with me on the test drive. He was very knowledgeable and informative. And finally, when I sat with Guy French, the Business Manager, he handled all the financing with ease. I did not have to wait at the dealership for hours. Grossman made my car buying experience a pleasurable one.

I had my 2008 Rogue serviced at Grossman Nissan and was treated extremely well by Don. When I was considering a 2010, I visited again and met Jay who answered all of my questions and showed me the 2010 features with no pressure to purchase. When I returned I discussed the 2010 I was interested in with Jay and told him I wanted the final price with no later add ons. My keys were returned to me as soon as they looked at my trade in and Jay quickly provided me with the "Out The Door" Price that they stuck to. The delivery went just as smooth. This was my best new car purchasing experience in my 50+ years of purchasing new cars!
