Brian the salesman was very helpful, He was patient and took care of everything. He made a mistake with my email, helped me fix it though and walked me through everything on on star. If you have a recall just forget having Guaranty Chevrolet do the work! Made 3 contacts with service over 6 month period and never got a call back. When I called them and asked (on two occasions) I was told the part was not in (these contacts were 3 months apart). The most recent was a week ago (another 3 months) and the service rep said he would get back to me asap, didn't even get a call back to discuss the recall. I guess they have enough business they can ignore recalls. I have lived local my entire life & this delearship was considered special, obviously that is history...

Two words Anthony Vega. Most honest salesman I've ever worked with. He was patient and showed me the same 4 trucks at least 3 times each on 5 different days. I had 1,001 questions and he patiently answered them all. He was patient with me helping me decide whether I wanted new or used and carefully and accurately explained all of the features of every truck several times. When I finally settled on a truck he came through along with Darren Rutledge the General Manager to get the truck to fit into my budget. I have purchased 4 cars in my lifetime and this was by far the smoothest and most pleasant car buying experience of them all. At no point did I feel any high pressure tactics from Anthony or Darren. They treated me like a human being rather than a lottery ticket and it went a long way. I would highly recommend buying here from Anthony and Darren if you want a fair price and honest advice on what to buy for your needs. If you don't want to have to play games then buy from these guys. If you like playing games with the car salesman then look somewhere else, because these guys are the real deal.

Andrew Atherton was an outstanding service advisor...top notch people skills, professional demeanor, excellent communicator. There was a small glitch in the technician's servicing of the vehicle and Andrew resolved it effectively and immediately. On the sales side, Victor Hernandez was also excellent. He worked hard to get the deal done and managed some glitches along the way. He ordered some missing accessories the car should have had. He's easy to deal with and smart. It was a bit disappointing the car (certified used) had a servicing issue within the first two weeks of ownership, but Guaranty handled everything well.

The issue with my truck was clearly covered under warranty per the warranty manual that came with the truck. The Service Dept initially said it wasn't covered and I'm sure they would have gladly allowed me to pay $1200 for the repair. After almost half an hour of wrangling they finally agreed that it was covered. They did a great job getting the repair done quickly but I was disappointed with the hassle over the warranty coverage.

I grew up in the neighborhood and always wanted to buy a Car from Guaranty Chevrolet. Customer Service was great. Renne Garcia took good care of us and took the time to work with us. Had our vehicle in their shop for six days and all that was wrong with it was a few error codes needed to be reset. They charged me that whole time for the loaner vehicle and when I finally got my car back the on star signal was erased and the entire wifi systems would not work. Then they refused to reset it with out charging me for it.

On Sunday, 12/27/15, I wandered into the dealership for the first time and asked about Corvettes. Chad Poda spent the next half hour or so answering my questions without pushing for a sale. The year-end sale price seemed incredible. In fact, another dealer I visited later that day suggested it was based on rebates, not all of which I'd be eligible for. When I returned Monday and asked Chad about that, he assured me that was the price I'd pay. Well, I wasn't going to pass that up and I wasn't going to risk another buyer beating me to the punch, so we started the sales process right then and there. The trade-in value offered was a few hundred less than expected, but with the discount provided on the new car, it was really irrelevant. Rafael Huerta ushered me through the paperwork quickly and efficiently, yet had time for pleasantries, without the "hard sell" I expected for all the extras. We went through each, he explained the advantages and allowed me to make my own decisions. I was very pleased with the price he was able to provide for the 60 month extended warranty, which I might have done without otherwise. The car was washed and placed on the showroom floor for delivery. Chad even took pictures for me. Ashley Gumina patiently and expertly demonstrated all the car's key features, especially the electronics and OnStar, answering all my questions thoroughly. The only negative aspect of the sales and delivery experience was the 45 minute OnStar welcome call, which, of course, was not the fault of the dealership. In summary, this was the best new car purchase experience I can remember. Kudos to the professionalism of the Guaranty Chevrolet staff!

I was in for both service and catalytic converter recall. The service was done but had to wait on parts for the recall. So I picked up the car following the service, and returned for the recall. I had some reservations about the service being fully done. Service rep. Ian stepped up to the plate and ran the car back through service and installed the new catalydic converters in record time he also provided the shuttle service for me. Its nice to see that customer service still exsists.

Unfortunately the service process proved to be a bit more challenging than most; with multiple delays & increasing frustration experienced by both parties. That being said everyone involved did what they could to make things right. Service Rep Neil Ellis kept the lines of communication open with me as well as with his supervisor, Service Manager Lee Bramson, & that really paid off. Neil should be commended for his dedication to Chevy & maintaining a high level of customer service. By keeping me in the loop Neil & Lee made it a lot easier to be patient, giving them/Chevy the time needed to get things right the first time. I would also like to commend the mechanic that stepped up & completed the work (I'm sure it wasn't easy walking into the middle of a project like this). Finally I would like to thank Lee Bramson again for taking the time to sit & listen to me, his/Chevy's customer after all the work was completed. I had my Impala in for a LOF and tire rotation, I had a coupon and the Service Rep (Ivan) said keep your coupon I will do one more on the warranty. Which I thought was very nice of him. Alex Cuellar was very efficient and helpful at check-in and called be back later that afternoon to update me on the service. He walked us through the purchase process, answering our questions without "pushing" us to buy. His low-key sales approach allayed any doubts we had and actually motivated us to make the purchase. Later in the day when I came to take delivery of my truck he was busy with another sales opportunity. None-the-less, he took the time to explain the features of the truck and make sure I knew I could call him if I had any questions. Had a recall on my Silverado, as usual the guys in service took good care of me. The shuttle driver took me home (Luis) a very nice guy, he ask if I needed a ride back witch I thought was very nice. I said no thanks my wife will bring me back. My only complaint is I ask the service writer to put new wiper blades on the truck and they forgot. No big deal I will get them the next time.

Everything went smoothly during the whole process. Only problem was not having the 2nd key on site, but was able to mail to me. The last issue with the car seems to be a software glitch. Every time the car switches gears, it defaults it temperature to Celsius instead over Fahrenheit. Going through the settings and manually changing it only lasts until you change from drive to low, neutral, reverse, and park. Hopefully Chevy has a fix for this, because everything else on the car is wonderful.

I had a good experience with the dealership, however I do not believe that the Manufacturer was taking care of me or the dealership. I spent a lot of money on a Navigation system and neither the company that makes it or GM supports it. The answer was go buy another disc. The system could not find one of the largest National Cemetery's on the West Coast, Riverside National Cemetery. I have had instances when the system took me 9 miles away from where I should have gone, it would not let me put in an address or would not allow me to distinguish east and west in an address. My home and the roads around it have been in place for more than 40 years and the system still says that it is a learned road. I have been directed to go down a goat path to get to a destination.

The car-buying experience was positive and easy. The dealer let me know in advance what inventory he had and at what prices. When I test drove the car, he explained the features to me. When I bought the car, he explained key features again and helped me set up the radio and OnStar. I will recommend Brian Lax to my friends when they are in the market to buy a new car. He called me when he said he would. He was available when he said he would be. He answered all my questions and was very informative. He also didn't try to up-sell me on anything, but he did let me know what options were available and also informed me of the things I was interested in. When I bought the car, I felt like I was fully-informed. When he asked me if I wanted to buy or lease, he didn't try to change my mind (like so many dealers do). Overall, it was a good experience and I'm happy with the deal I got.

I was very happy with the entire experience at Guaranty Chevrolet. I was greeted by salesperson Ricky Guerrero. I told him I was looking for a specific model, the Equinox LTZ. They had several in stock and I was glad they had the color I was looking for and all the features I wanted. So it just came down to price. I wanted to lease, so Ricky went through all the options, such as how many miles per year, and the length of the lease and we assisted me in picking the deal I wanted. I always pay my debts, but my credit showed I was in the A2 tier which meant I would not get the best payment pricing. Ricky and his managers worked very hard to present a payment that I would accept. I believe the entire sales department did a wonderful job! The finance manager, Rafael showed the services without being pushy and the whole process was pleasant. After the signing, Ricky thoroughly explained all of the features of the Equinox, set up my Bluetooth and I felt very comfortable with my new vehicle. Ricky is younger, but he is very knowledgeable about the product. I would definitely recommend Guaranty Chevrolet to a friend.

When I first arrived at the dealership i walked into the door and saw that there was a gentlemen behind the counter on the phone and then another gentlemen doing what seemed to be nothing and didn't look acknowledge that I was even in the building. Waited and waited finally went into another part of the dealership where there were other people to ask if I could get help. They asked what I needed help with explained my issue with my car and he told me to wait where I already was, not getting any help from either of the 2 gentlemen. Finally Ian walks in and asks my name and how he can help me. I told him that I had to drop off my car and he got me a Silverado for a rental and I was in my way. After they fix my vehicle the following day Ian calls me to let me know it ready. I get there drop off the Silverado and all seems to be good. I drive about a football field away and my car's engine is smoking. Took it back to the dealership, and Ian came out immediately popped my hood and told me he was very sorry but they are going to have to run diagnostics on the car again and take care of the issue. He was going to bring the Silverado back up but I told him I didn't t want to scratch it due to the fact that it's huge,but awesome. So he has a gentlemen pull up a camaro. My smile goes from ear to ear. He tells me to be careful and he will call me with news asap. Calls me the next day and tells me that the part that was replace was fine but it was another part involving the oil pump. Tells me that the part won't be in til the following week and not to worry about my car because it will be taken care of. That Tuesday I get a call from Ian and he tells me my car is ready and test drive and I am good to go. So stoked at this point just to havey care back. I drop off the camaro and leaving my car. About an hour in a half later I realize I left my prescription glasses the the camaro rental and called them to let them know. They informed me that the service dept was closed and they will leave a detailed note about my situation. The next day I was busy at work so I didn't get to check my messages but Ian had called me. Went straight to the dealership without checking my messages and I walk in and the service representative Ian holds up my glasses and smiles. If it's wasn't for Ian I would never come back to this dealership. Ian is an awesome service rep. He made me feel comfortable even when my car was smoking, don't know how but he did. This man deserves a raise, some gratification. I sometimes am not the easiest person to deal with but Ian made my experience an amazing one toward the end.

I found the car I wanted through another dealer on Thursday. He said they don't do trades on the weekend. I had to turn a leased car in on Monday, March 16 so my time was limited. It was frustrating - I wasn't sure what to do - look for another. They told me the car was close but that they couldn't get it. I spoke to Adolfo on my way home Friday evening who shared with me a new shipment of Tahoes that were arriving. I was frustrated and told him I found the car I wanted in the perfect color and options I wanted. I said here is the number but no one can get it because it is the weekend. He said he would look into it and call me back. He called us back Saturday morning and said he had the car, needed time to clean it and to come after 12n. I couldn't believe it! We arrived at the dealership and it was shining inside the showroom... I knew that was my car!! I was so excited. I asked Adolfo how did he do it!! He said he went himself and picked up the car! Everything went smooth. We are so happy! Thank you for going the extra 40 miles to get my car for me!!!! We really appreciate all your efforts! What a great salesman!!! A++++

Unbelievable! I was the lucky winner of a new Chevy Cruze, provided by Guaranty Chevrolet, at Holy Family Cathedral's fund raiser. My first car was a 1954 Chevrolet and my last Chevrolet line of cars, until now, was a 1965 Stingray. I have only had the new Cruze a few days and I must say I Love It! When I picked up the car, it had been cleaned, tank filled with gas and topped off with a huge gift bow. Everyone there was so helpful and welcoming. I first looked at their website www.OCchevy.com. After a couple days of limiting down to the Cruze I wanted, I finally clicked the "make an offer" form and was contacted by one of the internet sales people Jim. He helped find other savings for me and get a better deal than the one I offered. I went by the next day after work, options were explained to me about the best way to purchase. Everyone was very nice and the store looks brand new. I guess it's been there for a long time, but just finished a re-model. Overall: I was plesanty suprised by the quality of the car, discount and overall "feeling". There was no pressure and I left happy. Will be back for my complimentary oil change in a couple months.

Horrible, dishonest, bait and switch. We had, in writing a price, showed up for scheduled appointment only to be told they'd give us a different (less equipped) vehicle for the price they'd quoted. Made us wait a half hour for that news. Price was sent by Jim in the internet department, he was nowhere to be found. Went to George Chevrolet 20 minutes away and got a better price than Guaranty's quote on a vehicle they didn't even have. Saw Betty at George, she dealt fairly and honestly, quick easy transaction.

I was looking for a late model used car and found a Malibu on line at Guaranty. I called and spoke to Joe Renden who was great. He answered all my questions and when I came in to look at the car he had it conveniently parked and ready for my inspection. After test driving we sat down to go over some numbers which he made clear and understandable as well with the inspections, documetation and warranty details which made the car like new. To me that was huge and there was not the typical pressure and games being played. There was none of that! Guaranty has a great selection and offers a very telling test drive path. Freeway driving is automatically part of it. They are in the midst of upgrading the showroom for a better customer experience. My salesman, Brian Laxmana, provided excellent service and followed-up effectively without being a bother. I drove from Huntington Beach to Tustin for this dealer and will do so again when I buy my next Chevy in a few months.

" Stay Away From This Dealership!!" I bought a used 2008 Silverado in early Jan of 2011. This truck had a lift, so I was told by the dealership that the factory warranty was void because of the after market parts. I was told that if I wanted a warranty, that they had a warranty that would cover not only all of my power train components, but also the lift kit, and electrical. They quoted me a price of $3000 for a 4 year 48,000 mile extended warranty. This seemed like a great idea to me. All this coverage, even the lift kit... wow! So I traded in my 2006 Silverado (Paid Off with 73K miles running perfect), and bought this new truck with this warranty. Right after diving this truck off the lot, I noticed a few problems that needed to be fixed. So I took the truck in for service (Clunking drive shaft, Knocking front end, and a slight shaking). They said that the drive shaft needed lubed, which they did, and they told me that the shaking and knocking was normal with a lift and big tires??? After driving the truck for 8 Months, and the shaking getting worse, I decided to take the truck in, because there was an obvious problem! At 8am while headed to the dealership on the 5 fwy going about 65 miles per hour, my front left wheel snaped off the axle hub and sent my truck sliding down the freeway. Turns out that I had a broken wheel bearing. Fortunately I made it out with no injuries and the truck managed not to hit anyone else. After having the truck towed to the dealership to have fixed, I found that in fact there are no such warranties for lifted vehicles, and that the warranty I was sold, was virtually non-existent. Basically I paid $3000 for nothing and was sold into a truck that now I found had no warranty!!! OMG, what now, this is not what we agreed on! After having to claim insurance to fix my truck because the warranty was no good, I confronted the dealership, and they returned my $3000, but handed me the keys to my fixed truck, and basically said, "It's your problem now". So now I have a truck with no warranty and the dealership has done nothing to help me out, when they obviously dropped the ball. I've asked the owner (Bruce Hamlin) for help, but he never returns my calls. Now I have to take this dealership to court. I believe to make this right they either need to cover the warranty that they sold me, or buy back the truck that I shouldn't even have. The service dept told me that they work on commission, and I feel like I've been up sold into things that I don't even need. I've never felt comfortable or confident when taking my truck to this dealership. In fact, I question if they even do the work they charge you for!?!?

I had went to several dealerships in the pursuit of a new truck and this dealership was the friendliest as well as the most helpful with any questions I had. I will definetly be back for my next car purchase.

I was shopping for a new truck yesterday and Mike the salesman was helping me look for what I was looking for. He did a great job and worked with me and my dad and worked hard trying to deal with how fussy me and my dad are. He also got me a pretty good deal on my truck that I traded in towards the purchase of the new truck. I did not feel pressured like at other dealerships. When I first arriveed at the dealership he waited until I had gone starting to look at the new vehicles and not to pressure us he waited a good amount of time but not too long that he did not come over to elp us. At a different dealership I walked into I never got anyone to help us.

I purchased a 2007 chevy silverado and a few days later noticed that the headliner was not tucked underneath the weather strip of the door. A few days later I noticed mild white smoke coming out of the exhausted pointing to a possible fuel injection problem of which I am taking it to a different dealer today to look at. The truck was certified and came with a 12,000 mile 1 year warrenty and I purchased a 3 year 30,000 mile warrenty. At least thats what I was told. My warrenty booklet came in last week and it was only 30,000 miles and 3 years. I explained to the warrenty guy at GMC that it was purchased as a extended warrenty and should be 4 years and 42,000 miles. He said that was over 2 months ago and could do nothing about it. The finance guy told me it was his fault he didnt get the memo and come on by for a free oil change. Wow. Not to mention that it was a commercial fleet vehicle and was probley abused...watch out people.

Had much problems on a 2000 Chevy 3500 cutaway van, the engine at times would not idle in the morning and engine would die at times, the truck was kept at least two weeks at this dealership, after we went to pick up this vechicle, we had the same problem. We notified the service writer about the problem, he said that it was under warranty.
