I Purchased a Mazda Tribute from Hampstead Pre Owned and my experience there was simply amazing! There customer service is so outstanding, the salesman was very friendly and accommodating and all the staff that worked that Saturday from the parking lot to the sales and finance department was just so awesome, they even offered us some of their pizza they ordered for lunch. They weren't pushy at all like at other places. We also met and talked to the owner, he is such a down to earth young man. The staff is very hospitable and this made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. My Mazda Tribute was so clean inside and out. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking not just for a vehicle, but outstanding service as well! Great job guys, keep up the good work and I'm loving my new ride!!!

Awesome Dealership! We recently purchased a 2001 Toyota Avalon and could not be happier with our purchase. Adam and Anthony were great. They let us test drive several cars on our own with no pressure what so ever. Once we decided on the Avalon, the purchase was as smooth as possible. After searching for well over a month for a pick-up, I found exactly what I was looking for at Hampstead Pre-Owned. I traveled 50 miles (one-way) to purchase my 2007 F150 "Superman." HP-O had the largest selection of full-sized pickups in the area. Prices are set so there is no haggling - a huge plus. Service from HP-O cannot be beaten. My vehicle was delivered to me at my work when it was ready to go! Who does that? This is old-fashioned customer service that you simply don't find any more. Thank you for caring about each and every customer that comes through your door.

I went to Hampstead Pre Owned and purchased a 2005 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4 with less than 59,000 miles on it . The SUV was in excellent condition. Adam told me the warranty was 30 days 1,000 miles and 10 day bumper to bumper. There were some things that needed fixed after I bought it, nothing major. They took care of everything and even put on a trailer hitch for me that I had purchased. Ryan in the service department got everything done on time. If Ryan or Adam tell you something you can believe it. I drove an hour to buy a vehicle from them and would do it again. P.S. Actually found this dealership on the internet!

Adam and Anthony were a God send. Before finding our 2007 Expedition on this lot, we drove 600 miles plus and just about given up. We drove 380 miles to see them. We looked at 26 other expeditions before finding them. They were beyond professional. They put the car up on the lift and answered every questions I had without trying to hide anything. The even stayed 2 hours after closing to ensure my family and I were taken care of. I will definitly be back. They did everything they promised and more. No pressure sales.

These guys are straight shooters. They allowed me to take the car to my mechanic. Fortunately, he was 15 minutes away. I picked it up in the morning, had my mechanic look it over, he thought it was a really clean car, went back and bought it. In the past year I've bought 3 cars from Hampstead. I have 3 young adult drivers in my family and I wanted reliable used cars. These people delivered. Good cars. Good prices. Good service. I am in no way affiliated with Hampstead. Went in to get a used car since my family has grown and our old car broke down; and it was easy to buy the vehicle and get great service. The price of the SUV was awesome too. Just bought a 2005 Camry with less than 60k for my wife and I can say w/o hesitation I've never, in all my 64 years, had a better car buying experience. And she loves the car. I live in Catonsville, but after checking them out online and seeing their great reviews I decided to drive out and have a look since there was a Camry I was interested in. After a walk around the lot on my own they gave me the keys to the car I was interested in so I could check it out and drive it. They also told me, prior to driving it out of the lot, what needed to be done before they would deliver it! When I got back, and said I was interested in buying it, they asked if there was anything else I thought was needed to be done. They made a list of all items and gave me a copy that promised they would take care of everything before I picked it up. The owner even added an item to the list of his own, to repair some scratches on the front bumper that I hadn't mentioned. His explanation was "If i'm going to sell you a car with only 60 thousand miles on it I want it to look like a car with just 60k." Sold. And the price was great. Now, my only problem is i'm thinking of buying another car for myself because it was such a great experience..

I wanted to write about an experience I had at Hamstead Pre-owned, I needed to have my used 2005 Dodge Dakota SLT, V-8 Magnum looked at for a minor issue. I love the truck the way it drives, just everything about it. My addiction in life is cars & trucks. I purchased this truck and it had a problem so I took it to the Service Department and they found the problem to be with the fuel pump which they ordered and will install new. My point to all this is not only did I get the truck I wanted, with the most layed back approach to closing the deal, they have a great service department that is handling the problem (something no one could have predicted) in a timely, professional manner. The service department is clean with comfortable seating and has wi-fi available so I could work on my I-pad. The most important part is their knowledge of vehicles and ability to perform all types of repairs. They stand behind the products they sell and I am impressed with everything I have seen from Hamstead Pre-Owned. I will end up dealing with them for a long time to come. I truly cannot express how great they are there, and feel sorry for those who have not stopped by to check out their cars, and service department. I am extremely happy with my purchase and the service I have recieved. Normally if you have a problem, that is when the hide from you, but not Hamstead Pre-Owned they stand behind what they sell !!!

I was shopping for a first car for my daughter and I definitely had a limited budget. I find car shopping onerous and not something that I was looking forward to doing. They let you browse and are definitely no pressure. We ended up with a small SUV for my daughter and had some problems with it - Anthony was willing to take it back. After some convincing by my boyfriend, we decided to buy another vehicle for my daughter there and got her a 2002 Jeep. It too is having a small issue, but I know that Anthony (and Ryan who by the way is great) will take care of it!! I agree with my boyfriend that small town shopping is the best!

I have been looking for a used truck that had the crew cab. I have two grandsons aged five and three and needed a bigger backseat for the carseats. Now we can go fishing and crabbing with their daddy, and don't need to take two vehicles. Anthony, Shane, and Ryan went above and beyond, yet with no pressure. I recently purchased a 2005 Dodge, Dakota , V-8 Magnum Quad Cab from Hamstead Pre-Owned Auto's and I cannot tell you how great the entire staff is. Anthony (Owner), Shane (Salesman), Erica (Anthony's Wife-Handles tags, title, & and all general paper work) and their Service Tech.. Everyone there is knowledgeable, has a great disposition, personality plus and make you feel as though you are part of their family. The truck I purchased was one that I searched high and low for, I saw it on the internet and went to see it and it was just how Shane described it. Anthony let me think on it for the weekend and had a minor thing checked out for me. I drove up today Wednesday, September 30th and we made the deal. Not only did I get the truck I wanted, I feel I made some down to earth true friends. I felt as though I was dealing with family members. When we were all set I went to shake Anthony's hand and he said, no I'm a hugger. For someone with end stage Liver Disease it made me feel great. It's not often you meet people of his character. He reminded me if I have any troubles bring it back to me and I will take care of it. Just a true gentleman who will be very successful in life because he knows true customer service. I will be going back to purchase my wife an SUV when they pick on up that she likes as in size, color and low mileage. I am looking forward to seeing everyone again. I highly recommend them if to anyone in the market for a used car in great shape.

This is to update my review of June17th. A few days after, Anthony, the owner, contacted me. He apologized for what had occurred and offered reimbursement for our time , or to look for a vehicle. Anthony stayed in touch, and let me know that his search was proceeding but was not able to find a suitable vehicle. A few days ago I called Anthony, I had finally found a vehicle and I wanted to let him know to stop his search. He still wanted to do something for us, such as a gas card for our trouble. During our conversation about the vehicle he let me know that he had solved a problem with the blistering of these wheels. Anthony offered to let me have the reconditioned wheels off of his vehicle as compensation for our earlier experience. So today, after viewing the pics he sent me, we went to see the wheels in person. They were exactly what I wanted.. So, he had them switched onto my vehicle in exchange for my rims and tires. Anthony was even there today to make sure that everything went smoothly for us. That's the type of person who really cares about people.. So, THANK YOU Anthony for turning a so so experience into a FANTASTIC experience..

After having our car for a few days we noticed it developed what seemed to be an intermittent ABS problem. So we called Hampstead Pre-Owned to arrange to have it looked at and repaired if possible. Anthony (our salesman) was there when I got to the dealership and friendly as ever. got my car right in to the shop for evaluation. As it would be a while for this I walked down the street to have some lunch. Upon my return I spoke with the Anthony (the owner) and found that it was actually one of the axels that was causing the problem. Go figure front wheel drives! Any way he offered to cover labor and half the cost of the part since this was not covered under the used car limited warranty that came with the car. This was one of those above and beyond type of things if you ask me that keeps people coming back to a dealership! He didn't need to make that offer to me, he could have just quoted me the cost of parts and labor and said that's it, and I would have not known any different. I Still don't know any different really because he never told me what the labor cost was. And I think he quoted me a lower cost on the part then what it really was. But I am very happy with the vehicle service and the customer service I receive from Hampstead! If your thinking of buying a used car, check them out. My feeling is you can't go wrong with these guys!

The Experience there was very good, both the salesman and the owner were very helpful and knowledgeable about their cars. They really work with you whether you have good or bad credit. Overall I would give them 4 out of 5 stars. Definitely come here if you want a quality used vehicle

I am a single mother who had been searching for a used car that was not only affordable but that would be reliable as well. I dont know anything about cars so i was very nervous about the purchase. I found a nissian maxima on cars.com which lead me to hampstead pre owned. When i got to the dealership i explained to them all of my concerns that i had about purchasing the car and they allowed me to bring the car to my mechanic who gave me the go ahead after checking it out. I have had the car for five months and have not had one issue. These guys are the best!!!!!!!!"

I was in the market for a used car for my family and started my search. After no luck in the city or county my husband and I found Hampstead Pre-Owned. I was surprised at the wide selection of vehicles in their inventory. I did find a very nice Nissan Altima! It has a sun roof, sporty wheels and a nice stereo system. Very clean chic sleek car. It rides so smooth. The transaction was smooth and the service after the sale was great. I would tell my friends about this location. The price was right. They also took care of all of tags and title business for me. This made it easy for me to just pick up the car with no additional run around. It was about 39 minutes from my home but when I got here I was so pleased and I wish I would have found this dealer sooner. When I got out of my daughter's car to see about test driving a couple of cars at this dealership I able to walk around the lot a little and look at the cars available. Then was greeted warmly by Tony Davis, one of their newer sales reps. He wasn't pushy like some dealers can get. Asked how we were and what we were interested in. We told him the two cars we had found via Cars.com and on their website. He promptly got us the keys for the first car (after having gotten a copy of my license, state laws and all) and invited us to have a good test drive. On our return, he had the second car out of the parking spot and ready for us to take on the test drive. We determined that the second car was the one we were interested in from this dealership. But we needed to see if this was "THE ONE" because we had several others from other shops we were still investigating. When we told him that we would like to think about the options and get back to him he had no problem with it. So we went on our way to the other dealers and test drove other cars with varying results. Our final decision was to come back to Hampstead and get this car. Since they had closed by that time on Saturday it was Monday morning before I could return. At this point Tony introduced me to his boss and the owner of the dealership Anthony Birdsong a really pleasant guy to talk with. He worked with me on the financing. That's when I had some trouble with the financing, they worked with me on it for a while, and things still didn't work out for me. So I left at noon with no car yet to see if I could work on financing on my own during the day. By the end of the day I walked back into the dealership they had apparently had a long "trying" day of it. It was less then 30 minutes till closing for them. But they were still pleasant with me and I was able to drive off their lot in the car I chose on Saturday! And, all this, just as they were locking their doors ON TIME with out rushing to do it!

Excellent service. Took my car in for an oil change today and was very impressed with the owner and the level of service provided by the employees. This can be hard to find at a mechanic shop. Great quality, great price and great service. I highly recommend for future auto services.

Recently purchased a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer from here. Every step from my initial phone call to going back for a service light was awesome. Ryan and Anthony are great. They made it really easy, were up front and honest about everything. It's amazing to have it done all in one place. They have definitely created a customer for life. I understand buying used means there will be maintenance needed and it's perfect they have a shop too. I can count on them to help with any issues.

I recently purchased a 2007 vw jetta and recieved a great deal on it. The salesman Shaun was very helpful and had a laid back sales approach. They also do tag and title work in house which is so much better than dealing with the mva. Totally recommend checking this place out.

I recently purchased a pre-owned Chevy Cavalier '03 from Elite Auto. The asking price was very reasonable and what's more, on discovery of a mechanical problem with the car, the dealer agreed to buy the part needed and fix the car without increasing selling price! They changed to oil before selling and threw in a free first oil change also! I found the manager to be very honest and reasonable, NOT spewing lies or twisting the truth like many dealers around. big ups!
