If they tell you your car needs work have them show you why. Brought car in for oil change and multi-point inspection. They recommended over $400.00 worth of work, including filter changes. Funny thing is I changed filter less than 3 months ago, and told that to service manager. Service Manager talked to the tech who did the work and he admitted he didn't really look at the filter. Service Manager seemed sincere and basically said the other work was recommended, but not required.If they recommend any additional service have them show you and explain why!!

A month ago my daughter called me very upset about her 2009 Ford Escape. Her car would not maintain speed at high or low rpms. A Ford dealer in Moorhead told her that to repair her car she was looking at $600 and possibly thousands of dollars depending on what they found. I did some research on line and I felt sure it was the Valve Throttle Body. I asked her to bring her car to me and I would make the repairs. After calling around to find the part, I ended up calling Hasting Ford. They had the part I needed but the parts person explained that this part was covered under an extended warranty. He transferred me to the service department and they made an appointment to look at my daughter's car. Long story short, they determined that it was the Valve Throttle Body and all of the parts and labor were taken care of with no charge to my daughter. Finding an honest car dealership is hard to come by these days; Hasting Ford of Greenville, N.C. meets all my requirements. Thanks so much for your help.

I purchased a new 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid from Hastings Ford in August. I live about 2.5 hours away from Greenville, but they had the car I wanted with the options I wanted in stock. I was able to work with their team online and over the phone to work out the price and terms of the sale, and my salesman Jessie was kind enough to meet me half way to deliver the car and sign the papers. No fuss, no muss, no surprises, just the deal I wanted and great service to boot. Jessie has also checked in with me consistently since my purchase to make sure I'm happy and that everything is going well. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

I purchased a 2015 Ford Fusion SE and it is fantastic. I really love the car and I love the fact that I got a good deal on it. Looking at various sites online, I have found that the fair price for the car was indeed what I paid for it. The staff didn't try to over inflate the price in order to make a great profit, but instead sold me a car for a fair price and with a great deal. They even let me test drive the car to my insurance provider just so I could get a feel for the car on my own with out the pressure of the salesperson. I would rate my overall experience a 10/10.

This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Hastings and my salesman, Michael. My wife loves her 2015 Ford Fusion. The car has pickup like a small V8 and yet still sips the gas, 19.5 EMPG. It isn't fully broke in, so I assume this will improve as we put on the miles. Stopped in primarily to see what my trade was worth, not expecting to make a purchase. I met with Otis Jeffries and we talked for a while. Then we walked out onto the lot. I then discovered that Otis had paid close attention to what I had said about my preferences on a vehicle. In short, Otis took me to the truck I eventually purchased. We only looked at the one truck. A 2014 F150 STX Sport in Sunset Metallic. We went back inside and Joel evaluated my trade and presented some numbers. We adjusted the numbers by a few hundred dollars and I was satisfied. Thank you for the recent great experience at Hastings Ford. Your staff were all very professional, at one point I was able to observe an influx of customers (more than salespersons available). Joel, while processing sales was also very in tune to ensuring every customer had a sales representative assisting them. Aubrey, a little young, nervous at first, was VERY knowledgeable on the Super Duty line. He is very courteous, aggressive but not pushy. I expect he will do well in life. Steve (I think) in parts, although late in the day, ensured my questions were answered as well as retrieving items I wanted to take home with me. He took time to fully explain the "Exhaust fluid" system and how it's to be serviced. Linda in service and one of her service technicians stayed late to install a bug guard prior to me leaving Greenville. Linda was pleasant and sincerely did not seem to mind staying late to ensure I had what I wanted. Thank you again for such an awesome experience yesterday at Hastings Ford, Greenville. You will definitely be on my referral list.P.S. Loving the truck thus far. Just need a class on all the system capabilities and functions :) I am becoming a little technologically challenged as I'm getting older...

Staff is great, service is great with the exception of the oil filling minimum standards apparently,. Engine is filled only to the minimum needed for my own needs I go buy additional oil to put it in the middle of the shaded area not just at the Minimum line.I cannot justify an outstanding rating if I have to go and buy oil upon completion of a oil change.

Unexpectedly on my way to work the other morning, my tire light came on. I decided to go directly to the service dept at Hastings Ford and was greeted very nicely by a man named Daniel. I explained to Daniel the problem and told him I was not able to wait on the car. He offered to have shuttle service drop me off at the office. During the day, Daniel kept me informed of everything going on with my car and when I was told about the price of replacing one of the tires, he took the time to price compare to get me the best deal on a new tire. After my car was ready, he called and offered to send the shuttle service back for me so I could get back to pick up my car and I was not able to leave the office. Daniel kindly offered to drive my car back to me and have the shuttle service follow him. Not to many company employees are going to go out of their way to help you, but Daniel went the extra mile....I usually do not use dealerships for servicing my car but because of Daniel I would definitely use Hasting Ford Service Dept again.

No one likes to be told that the car they bought new 11 months earlier has a clutch assembly problem. The people I've been dealing with have been very helpful. I am currently waiting for the clutch assembly kit to come in so the repair can be done. I have been told that it may be a one or two day job and that they will furnish a car for me during that time.This is my fourth Ford vehicle and Hastings Ford has always been very helpful.The waiting area is kind of small and was a little cold the morning I was there.

Service and staff were great! The car (2013 Fiesta)needed a new clutch, it sounds and drives better than the day I bought it. I think it has needed a clutch the whole time but was told a few days after purchasing it that that was the way it was supposed to sound and drive by the service guy. He gave me a printout to explain the transmission. Just to let you know though, recently it did get worse with vibration and tires spinning like they couldn't catch to take off. When the clutch was replaced all of the other clicking sounds stopped as well. I feel like I have a new car!

I wanted to test drive a small suv to see if I liked it. Scott explained all the features very well, let me drive, but I decided to sleep on it. Once I realized I preferred the Ford Escape more than another model, I let Hastings know. When i picked up the car, it was ready, right down to the car mats I wanted. Scott programmed my phone into the system, explained the entire set of controls from the keyless locking system to whom I should see for service. He knows his stuff and was extremely helpful.

I had gone to Hastings Ford after had been to 2 other local dealerships in town including the original Ford dealership I had purchased my 2013 Ford Explorer. Unfortunately the other two stated that they couldn't help me because unfortunately my credit wasn't so good or the interest rate was so high I could not have afforded the vehicle. Ford offered a terrific interest rate so I went with it. After you buy the car is when you get problems! Hastings Ford worms their way out of fixing the vehicle! They make every excuse not to fix it and the bumper to bumper warranty means nothing to them. They will not fix your vehicle, will waste your time in service calls and not fix the problem. They hook a computer up to it and claim there is not a problem even though you can hear the motor and tires running like junk at a mere 5000 mile mark. If you buy a Ford, go elsewhere Don't believe the hype!

I purchased a Ford because of the fantastic interest rate offered. That is where the goodness ends! They offer a 36,000 useless warranty. Hastings Ford will NOT fix your vehicle! My new 2014 runs like an 1984 model. The service is horrible and they make every excuse not to fix your vehicle. I started having issues at 5,000 miles and now that it is under 12,000 miles they state it should have been fixed earlier while under warranty!!!! They WILL waste your time in service calls and claim nothing is wrong (even though the problem is LOUD and clear) and once you are past the mileage point that the warranty will cover the problem, they claim you didn't fix it in time! The service is the worst I have seen! If you buy a Ford - Go ELSEWHERE! I have even made a complaint to the manager and his attitude was incredibly nasty!

I have never made an appointment, usually just show up early with no problems..this trip they were very busy and backed up, was told it would be at least 4 hours and was offered a ride home...Was very impressed with the shuttle driver who dropped me off and later came to pick me up..It also did not take as long as they thought. Everything was handled very well, recommendations were made for filters but there was no hard and pressured sales tactics that I have encountered at other places..In other words I was very happy with the service I received..Will be in next week with my other car.

I needed my car serviced. They said it would be about an hour before they could get to it as I had not made an appointment. So I did a couple errands first and then went back and had it done. They are ALWAYS great and courteous and ex-plain everything fully and let you make the decision. They will suggest and explain why but certainly do not pressure you. I would trust them like my own family. I have set in the waiting area and they are that way with all of the customers I have seen come in and leave.

My vehicle left me stranded on the side of a country road which was making for a bad day. AAA towed me to Hastings Ford at my request. This is where I purchased the vehicle and I always have my mechanical work done here. A call in advance left Dwayne expecting me when I arrived. He quickly had my vehicle accessed to determine the problem. My husband picked me up at Hastings and once home Dwayne gave me a call and told me the good news....the parts would be in the next morning early and I'd have my vehicle back by noon. This is in fact what happened. I was shown the broken parts which were removed from my vehicle and explained in full as to the work that had been done. I trust Hastings to care for my vehicles and appreciate the extra efforts on Dwayne's part as he knew I was nervous about the whole situation. The day did start out poorly, but getting my vehicle repaired quickly and accurately definitely turned a negative into a positive. Thanks Hastings Ford and Dwayne for everything you did for me that day.

I did the application on line Saturday morning 9/13/14 about 9 AM & Shane called me in about a hour & we had about two or three calls together discussion what we wanted to do. I had told Shane that we wanted a Fusion a Certified pre-owned one. The last time he called he said let's make it happen today so I set up a time about 1:00 Pm. So we got the car we wanted a 2012 Fusion & most of the paper work was all ready done when we got there. We had our three year old granddaughter with us ( Baby sitting ) & want you to know that all the staff were very helpful with our Granddaughter even getting her a Balloon to play with & she let the balloon get away from her & a salesman even got her another balloon. So far so good. Another professional and gratifying experience with the Hasting's Service Department. The only negative aspect of the whole auto repair business is the high cost of auto repair today. I must say that Hasting's service cost is in line with published average cost of auto repair. The most important thing I can personally say about the service department at Hasting's is they stand behind their work and that's the GOOD feeling.

The basic maintenance work on our cars was fine.Oil changes etc.We asked for help diagnosing a persistent & significant(loud) rattle in rear area of our Jaguar.The result was unsuccessful.Our license plate holder was tightened and that's good. BUT it had nothing to do with the rattle/noise we were experiencing. It is exactly as it was before we left Jaguar in your hands.How much of the labor charge was for stopping rattle I don't know but it did not work.

My check engine fuel light came on. I called the Hasting's Ford dearlership and got an appointment that week that fit my busy schedule. When seen, the parts were immediately ordered for me. After discussing with the head of the service department who had awesome customer service and who was super helpful and friendly that I couldn't afford to come back again due to my busy schedule, he arranged to come pick my car up, have it serviced and dropped back off all while I was at work. I didn't have to worry about it all all. This went over and beyond what I expected and I was truly grateful for this and the quick turn around since I had a big tripped planned to Atlanta in a couple of days. Thank you all so much. I will be sure to visit again and refer anyone I know!

Every service that I have had there, I have left totally satisfied every single time! The service, parts, sales guys are all professional, friendly, helpful and I can't say enough good things about them or their product. I currently have two 2011 Escapes (4 cyl 4WD), a 2005 Focus ST, and a 2013 F-150 4x4 off road, max trailer package crew cab. All vehicles are excellent and have given excellent service with almost no problems and just services calls for routine maintenance. I have a 7000+ lb travel trailer that I just towed 1000 miles with the F-150 Ecoboost- it was right on the mark, performing beautifully in the steep mountain roads of NC.

On July 18, 2014 I brought my 2005 Ford F-150 for service and oil change and tire rotation at QuickLane run by Hastings Ford in Greenville, NC. After all service rendered I paid my bill and headed home and parked my vehicle in the garage. The next day I went shopping but when I returned from shopping I noticed that there was a big paddle of fluid mark on my garage floor. I immediately checked, opened the engine hood compartment and noticed that there was a wet rag left hanging on top of the air filter compartment. The wet rag was dripping some sort of fluid. I called the QuickLane center and told Dan (Service Manager) and he asked me if I could bring the F-150 back to the shop. I did and Dan efficiently informed one of the technician of the situation and the technician went right at work. Everything went fine, the point "The quickness of the response of my situation was upheld immediately. My truck could had been leaking fluid for all I know. But I was given a proper care to ensure my truck was not damage". Thanks very much. Very commendable.

I knew that I wanted a new F150. The truck that I wanted to trade was only a year old with 15,000 miles. I really expected to take a beating trading such a new vehicle. Otis Jeffries (my "sales consultant") showed me the model that I had decided on and then showed me that if I was willing to drive a nicer, better equipped truck, I would receive more incentives from Ford and actually get out cheaper. The only decision was color and Otis showed me six choices. I picked the Tuxcedo Black over silver. I am very pleased with Hastings Ford again. This is my 4th F-150 that I have purchased from Hastings Ford. Even when I buy something that I am not happy with, Hastings gives me good trade money to come back. Dwayne, new service manager, listened to every issue and addressed each issue with me and then again with my wife when she asked when we picked up the vehicle - he explained each issue and most importantly he didn't brush her off with " told your husband" - since she is the primary driver, he very patiently restated everything he told me and answered her questions until she was satisfied, practicing some of the best customer service I've ever seen. As a parent living 3 hours away, it is so comforting to me to know that when/if my daughter at ECU has problems with her Escape that she can come to Hastings and be treated so well. The Service Department has made her feel very comfortable, made sure she got back to campus safely when she had to leave her vehicle, and they keep me informed of everything. I have recommended Hastings Ford to the ECU Parents Group.

If you have had any dealings with this dealer ship you had better check your wallet!!!! I had body work done to my wife's car totaling almost 10k dollars worth of repairs. To my dismay when I pick up the car the grill falls out in my hand. Had no engine coolant , and told to just put water in it. that may work in a Ford but not in a C350 Mercedes!!!! ( I drive a F550 for work everyday, I make money with my back, not behind a desk.)Upon further inspection we noticed that the "brand new bumper" was bottomed out and chipped and vandalism damage had been done to the vehicle. When I got the car home and had the insurance adjuster out to inspect; it was brought to my attention everything that they had done had to be redone because it was half crop job. They saw an opportunity for big dollars and botched this one!!! The hood, bumper and whole drivers side of the car had to be repainted!!! As agreed by Brian Maas and William the GM; a rental car would be provided to make things right for the duration of the repairs and corrective repairs. Well now 7 months later I am still dealing with them because they are attempting to weasel their way out of the rental from enterprise. I have now been charged $795.49 from enterprise because they cant get the money from Hastings Ford. My advise to any and everyone is to STAY AWAY!!!!! Yes, they were as nice as can be when they didn't have my money yet but as soon as their is a problem everyone is so conviently out of the office or with a customer or on lunch or out in the shop or what ever other excuse they can make up to say ill have them call you back. But guess what no one ever calls!!!!! As well since the State Farm has had to call me to get a recorded statement because they say that Hastings Ford is stating that I requested the car be left outside the gate unprotected and that is why the vandalism shouldn't be their problem. Even though they have already admitted fault to me and paid the 250 $ deductible for the work to be done. Again these people are you typical xxxx used car dealers looking out for no one but their own pockets. All I have is my Name and my Word. Things apparently don't mean crap any more. What happened to the times when a mans word and a hand shake meant something?!?!?!? The 5 stars that this place has been receiving must be people from the dealership because I just don't believe the crap these people are writing!!!

James in Service set me on a progressive repair strategy to prevent immediately spending too much on a source of an oil leak that has 3 possible causes. Courtesy Shuttle driver was friendly and punctual. The shuttle and financing options are two big reasons I use Hastings.

Mike spent more time explaining the features on our new F150 than the guy who sold us a Winnebago motor home. He really knows the product and his enthusiasm is contagious. I signed papers 11/09/12 on a 2012 f150 at another dealership that was instock at HASTINGS FORD INC. The truck was put on lock down and HASTINGS was told it would be picked up on monday 11/12/12. Well to my suprise I received a phone call at noon monday and was told HASTINGS sold the truck on saturday 11/10/12. Someone really dropped the ball! Now I have to get a truck from 600 miles away.
