I just bought a 2008 BMW 750Li! The car is beautiful, and well maintained. Most importantly the transmission was just replaced! This family oriented business offers amazing customer service and awesome hospitality. Sara did her best to find me a good rate! This is my second car I purchased from Hawthorne Motors Express & it was a BEAUTIFUL BENZ!!! My first transaction was so good that of course I already knew I was going to do my 2nd car purchase with them as well. This is a family owned business that truly treats you like you are part of the family. Everyone is so caring and concerned and they all want to make sure that you leave their dealership happy :) They are fair and do not push you into buying a car that doesn't fit your needs. Short and simple.... The people at Hawthorne Motors Express seem so friendly, nice and caring (like all other dealerships) in order to sell you a car. Yes, I was duped too. I did buy a car from them but that was a mistake. Now that I have the car, I have to constantly bring it back for repairs (for the same issue) and Haas, the owner, is NOT so friendly anymore. I came across Hawthorne Motor Express on my way to work. Sara was a GREAT help!!!! She was very friendly, honest and such a great help. We told her the max amount we can pay a month and she found us a deal that is much lower. In addition, she got us a great car. My boyfriend was already approved and it took less than 20 minutes for the entire process. We test drove the car, signed that paperwork and chatted! THANK YOU so much!! I don't know where to start. This is by far, the best car dealership I've visited and conducted business with in a long time. First of all, the 7staff (family owned) is extremely friendly, make you feel right at home, and are not the least bit pushy when it comes to purchasing an automobile. After searching for quite a while, I located the car I had been looking for...from Central Calif. Sarah was very patient in working with me on this car from long distance. I had a chance to talk with her mom & dad, both very personable as well. They allowed my mechanic to come onto the lot and inspect the vehicle. The good report gave me the confidence to go ahead & make a deposit on the vehicle without seeing it. After several coordinating calls, Sarah's dad told me that since I was coming from a distance away, that if I got there and didn't like or want the car, I could have my deposit back. Who does that in today's business world. I felt very positive in the process. I came to Los Angeles a few days later, drove the car, looked it over and bought it. It came with a 30-day warranty. Nice. They filled up the tank before I drove off satisfied with the purchase. Good job in making the process smooth and friendly. No pressure whatsover. Very nice people...what more could a buyer ask for?

My husband & I have been searching for a car for our family for a while we had bad luck at every other car place we have been to! I spoke to my cousin and explained our situation she told me she & her sister had purchased their car from hawthorne and we should check it out! So my husband & I went on their website to check out the cars we immediately fell in love with a certain car. So when the weekend came we drove 2 hours to check it out. Having just relocated to LA I was in need of a decent car. I've bought a lot of vehicles over the years so I know a good dealer from a bad one and these guys are up there with the best! After doing a lot of searching on the internet I found Hawthorne Motors Express and was simply drawn to them by all the positive customer reviews and on driving the 20 miles to their lot I wasn't disappointed. Sara and her father know the true meaning of keeping the customer satisfied with great friendly honest service and very decent well maintained car stock. I purchased a Ford Explorer from them. Within 3 days it developed a brake problem and they referred me to their mechanic who diagnosed a faulty ABS sensor in the wheel bearing and it was instantly replaced with no fuss - GOOD SERVICE!! When I need another vehicle I shall be contacting them again without hesitation.

I had looked for the vehicle I wanted (Porsche Cabriolet) for a number of weeks, when I found it at Hawthorne Motors Express. I was able to view excellent Photos of the vehicle, their online credit application process was simple, and I got the results of the credit application in just a few hours. I scheduled a test drive for the next day, and afterwards I knew it was the car for me. The purchase process was quick and easy ( much more so than the other times I've purchased a car), and I was on my in my new vehicle in no time at all. I went to A LOT of dealerships before I landed at Hawthorne Motors Express. I was real tired of car shopping and pretty close to giving up on finding my dream car. What I discovered was no matter how nice the salesperson was and there were a few nice ones, once you sit down in that chair to negotiate, wheel and deal, finance, percentage rates, monthly payments, carfax, well you all know the deal. The fun goes right out the window. It gets tense, the pressure is on, you feel like you're being held hostage while the salesperson runs back and forth between you and his manager to work out the deal. NONE OF THAT NONSENSE AT HAWHTORNE MOTORS EXPRESS. The absolute best car buying experience I've ever had. I found the car online (where you can see their whole inventory), I went to take a look, not really expecting to buy. What a great family and a great family business. Sara was so patient with me and all of my questions, nervousness and concerns. She never lost her patience and that happened at other dealerships. She was so easy to talk to. No pressure whatsoever. I took 2 test drives, and that was it. She got me financed so fast I barely had time to blink and the best rate I'd received so far. Her dad Hoss is sooooo cool. Knowledgeable, funny and professional. I wanted to change a few things on the car and they satisfied my every request. It was fast and easy and FUN! I LOVE THIS FAMILY AND I LOVE THIS DEALERSHIP. I plan to buy all of my cars here and I'll be sending my family and friends. I met Sara's mom, Vicky, before I left. Turns out the whole family is amazing! So I just moved to LA from NYC last week and we all know a car is much needed here. I had in mind that I wanted a BMW 3 series, my husband got a BMW X5 from an actualy BMW dealership and to put it mildly they totally ripped him off and didn't at all explain the paperwork, pricing, or APR. Hawthorne Motors Express is great because unlike a lot of used car dealerships they have all their cars online so when I went in, I knew exactly what I wanted and that they had it. Long story short I bought the car and loved it. Financing was super easy and they print out a carfax for you so, they really aren't hiding anything. Great family, they are even helping us out with tinting, rims etc. Would not recommend any other used car dealership except them

The sales staff was extremely helpful, and were able to get the monthly payment to where I could afford it. And that was even with my less than stellar credit. On top of that, their customer service is second to none. By far the most hassle free car buying experience I've ever had. I recommend them to everyone. I just bought a car from Hawthorne Motors Express! This was the very best experience I've ever had buying a vehicle. I have always been to the "big commercial dealerships" and it was always such a stressful, time consuming experience. Not at Hawthorne Motors Express. I never once felt any pressure to buy or even to look at cars outside of my price range. Sara and Haas asked me what I was looking for and made a few suggestions. I was able to browse the lot and make my own decision with out feeling hassled. However, whenever I had a question or comment, someone was right there to help. I really appreciated not feeling like I was being followed or pressured. Once I found the vehicle that I wanted, I went through a very quick financing process! (I've spent longer filing my taxes than it took to go through the financing process). I felt very welcome and comfortable and I know that this is the dealership that I will visit any time I am looking for a car or truck. The car I test drove was a 2004 Black Chrysler Crossfire Base. They stated the vehicle was there for about 2 weeks, but I've been researching that vehicle and others and it's been on this website for over a month. My suspicions were correct when I test drove the vehicle: it hadn't been driven in a while (the sports car lagged when I tapped the pedal) and the AC fan blew out a mildew-like scent. I expect Dealerships to have an attention to detail as you're selling a vehicle that someone will travel in with their loved ones. I was disappointed on the test drive when the right blinker was out and the right Fog glass light was broken. Overall the experience was below average, my experience led me to assume the Dealership is family owned as they charge an awful lot for cars (The Chrysler Coupe they're selling is $2,000 over Kelly Blue Book's value for the vehicle) also they don't budge on negotiating vehicle pricing. If you're looking to purchase a vehicle from them, be observant and do your due diligence with research. Buy from those who want to work with you on finding a perfect vehicle for you - not ones that mention that they're, "so ready to get out of here at 5". It says a lot about their level of service.

One of the best car buying experience of our lives...Stumbled upon Hawthorne Motors Express, in Torrance, via the internet. We were looking for a specific car and this dealership was advertising this car, but the site didn't include any pictures, they had recently just acquired the car. I called for more than a week, everyday, inquiring about internet pictures and was told for more than a week that, they were detailing the car, and pictures would be put up that day or they would email me the pics; the pictures were never put up online, or emailed; So, my family and I finally drove down from Murrieta to Torrance to check out the car. This is the only reason why I didn't grade them excellent. Upon immediately seeing the dealership I was a little skeptical, because it's a small mom and pop dealership, but they had a great selection of cars no older than 2006 and the prices were impressive. We were immediately greeted by the owners daughter, Sara, and the owner himself Hoos, came over later to introduce himself. They were very friendly and immediately directed us to the car we were interested in. They gave us time to inspect the car w/o pressure, the imperfections we addressed and immediately taken care of, the test drive was great, and when we asked to take the vehicle to an independent shop of our choice to get it inspected, there were no objections. At no time did we feel pressured into purchasing this car. We decided to purchase the car, after getting it checked out, and while the car was priced below 'Kelly Blue Book' value, we negotiated and got Hoos to reduce the purchase price even more. From the time we began the paper, til the end, it took maybe 15 minutes. My husband and I have purchased more than 10 cars in our lifetime and we've never had such a wonderful experience. This is a dealership that I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Hawthorne Motors Express is the best around. They have a nice selection of cars and they are priced to sell. They are a honest family owned business and they are extremely friendly and helpful. I went in to purchase a vehicle after I spotted this location off the freeway. I test drove the vehicle and fell in love. From that point the process only took about an hour(less thank other carlots) to make the purchase. The staff were very courteous and friendly. They were great help in guiding me through financing. I have been car shopping for a 2006 Audi A4 for quite sometime. I stumbled on this lot after driving by. The owner, Hoss, was honest, and gave me a fair price.
