Found the car on the Internet call the dealer spoke to sales manager Jason he told me the car was a supercharged version made an appointment drove to the dealer Jason would not come out to see me set some other person in the car it was not supercharged as he said and I asked the question more than once very disappointed I had cash in hand to buy vehicle they took me to another sales manager didn't seem very concerned that I drove all the way over there to purchase this vehicle David

This going to be long but I think the company needs to know the way I feel since you asked. I was in the market for a new truck and during a internet search I found a black 2500 at Hendrick Chevy that was worth calling about. The website robot hooked me up with a sales person and called me right away. We discussed prices and options with the truck and after the salesman applied the rebates and first responder rebates the price of the truck was worth making the drive to Hoover. My wife and I found the truck in the back part of the lot and as we were looking, a salesman came by to help us. I asked to see the truck and he came back with the keys. The truck must have been sitting for a long time because the battery was dead but that is understandable. The salesman left for a jumpbox and I noticed he was studying something on a computer screen during this task but could have been looking at any number of things. We returned to the truck and it started right up. I told the salesman that whatever happened I would require a new battery because the life of that one was shortened because of it loosing charge for so long. He agreed and said that was completely understandable and told me he would put me in a loaner car until Monday so they could install the new battery. I told him that I have a jump box if the battery died again and if I bought the truck I would be driving it home. He insisted several times that I leave the truck over the weekend until the battery was replaced but I also insisted that if I paid for a shiny new truck I was going to take it home with me and I would come back Monday because I had business in Birmingham anyway. He said ok. We test drove the truck about 10 miles and I liked it enough to take the next step. We sat at his desk and I told him that I was a first responder and I understood there were rebates for that, and several others, being that it was a 16 model. He agreed about the rebates and left to gather the quote from another part of the store. When he returned, the quote was around $10,000 more than what I was quoted over the phone. Not $1000.00 but $10,000.00. We stood up aggravated that we have wasted a day and started to the door. The salesman continued to ask why and what the problem was so told him about talking to an unknown salesperson earlier and the quote I was given and that I didn't like the idea of thinking I was a fool. $10,000 is not an accident or where he just forgot to apply a rebate. The salesman was able to find the original person I talked to on the phone before I left and this person asked to help resolve the problem. He was able to "figure out" what happened and the price dropped to within $800 of what he quoted. That I can work with. So after all the negotiations were over and we came to an agreement on price I was led to the lady that handles the paperwork. After I signed the agreements the salesman came back in and tells me that I can't take the truck home. I told him that I could handle the battery problem and that I was going to drive my new truck home. My FIRST new vehicle. I'm 48 years old. He said there was a recall on the truck and that he could not let me have it. At this point I really think he is kidding with me because that would be ridiculous. He was not kidding and told me that they could not let me have the truck. Then the girl doing the paperwork tells me if the truck were to catch of fire or something they could be liable. This did not make me happy. I was getting screwed. I let them know that they didn't care if I caught fire and died during the test drive. I dislike dishonest people. Nothing at that point would make the experience a happy one. At the first of this narrative I told you that when the salesman was getting the jumpbox he tried emphatically to get me to just pick up the truck after the weekend. I think he knew the truck had a recall at that time and to not lose a sale he elected not to tell me up front. I would have still bought the truck if I fe

My Impala's water pump needed to be replaced. Took it in for that to be done and to swap out the Serpentine Belt as it was factory original. James Phelps took care of things for me. He had the tech run a full check on the car and found that the front right wheel bearing and hub was getting dangerously loose and needed to be replaced. He worked with me on getting the best possible price. Many thanks to him and his professionalism during the entire process. I now feel safe driving on the interstate and hope to get a few more years out of this 2007.

I came into the dealership after shopping around for a new camaro. Being a female shopper I brought my father with me to make sure to be treated with the respect a woman deserves. Soon as I got out of my vehicle Chris greeted me with a smile and seemed professional. I was standoffish with him at first and told him I would let him know when I needed him and he replies yes mame. So of course I couldn't find where the Camaroes were I was shopping for and he was more than willing to point me in the right direction. I could not decide which color I wanted. So he asked me a series of questions and really helped me narrow down what my choice should be. All I can say is wow it's not often you meet a salesman that has extensive knowledge is curtious and truly cares that your happy. I definitely will be returning here to buy in the future and encourage everyone I know to buy from Hendrick Chevrolet Hoover Alabama. Chris really deserves a promotion or something.

Chris Gallups is a very knowledgeable salesman and made sure any questions and concerns I had were answered. wife took truck in for oil change, transmission service and tire balance rotation she was there five hrs all work wasn't done. I always mark two tires when I'm having balance&rotation done well marked tires are still mounted in same location. while they were working on truck service writer had to brake up an argument between two working on it

We recently planned a day trip to drive around to different dealerships around town and check out several used Yukon/Tahoe's that we were interested in, and just by luck we drove into Hendrick first. Our salesman (Scott Graham) sat down with us, asked us a few questions about what we were looking for, and we purchased the first Tahoe they brought to us to test drive. It was exactly what we were looking for, very clean, with A LOT less mileage than I was expecting to have to purchase in our price range. They worked with us to lower our payments to where we needed them, gave us a good value on trade, and were great to work with. If we're in the market for another new/used vehicle in the future, we will be visiting Hendrick first (on purpose this time). Highly recommended dealership.

My wife and I were wanting to lower our auto payment and still have a good, dependable auto. Other dealerships didn't help us. Hendrick Chevrolet did. We accomplished that and more. Our payment is substantially lower, we have what appears to be a very dependable, economical and durable vehicle. Our Malibu was great. This Sonic LT may be better. The staff bent over backwards working to get what we needed, Our sales professional Damiano Duran made us feel at ease, assured us we would find what we needed and was upfront all the way. He answered questions, found choices that would work and stayed late, as did other staff members, to make sure WE were happy. We left very satisfied with the experience. We plan to recommend this sales person and the others at Hendrick Chevrolet to friends and family. We hope this is the start of a long, satisfying relationship with this dealership. I also noticed the fact that there were different ages working on the sales floor. I think that is a good thing. Everyone congratulated us on our purchase. I went to Hendrick Chevrolet after a bad experience with another Chevy dealer. They were more than willing to get the 2015 Camaro I was looking at from an out-of-state dealer, but they also offered up a few alternatives that they had just received on trade. One of those alternatives happened to be a 2009 Corvette Z06, which is what I really wanted and had owned back in 2011. The salesman and one of the managers spent a lot of time with me figuring out what would make me the most happy. I drove the Z06 back to my house with the salesman and picked up my trade-in. They gave me a great price for my trade and an equally great price on their Z06...no haggling required. It was a very pleasant transaction all around. I've always wanted to buy a Corvette from a Hendrick dealer, and I'm sure I will again in the future.

It's been 12 years since I bought something new. The plan to buy was set December this year. I planned on purchasing the new 2016 Malibu. As always plans don't pan out as expected. My close friend Ryan Pickett had just started and I told him I'd buy from him out of good faith and to help his business. The bonus here was I'm a Chevy guy anyways. So this particular day I went in to just get an idea of what I was looking for. There was no intention of purchasing this day. I managed to get roped in to a good deal. We were not planning on buying a car last Saturday. We were in the market and shopping but our intent was to 'shop', get information and be prepared to make a buy later when our other car (only car at the time) was fully paid off. After working from home over 6 years I'd started working from an office again so we needed two cars again and my wife was suffering from cabin fever while I was at work during the day. Out for dinner Saturday last week we decided to swing by Hendrick before going home. Now I'd resisted Looking at Chevy & Chrysler because of their participation in the bail out. Just didn't sit well with me. But after considering that I had looked at about everything else including imports I thought it was unjustified of me not to look at Chevy so we stopped by. We were looking for something a bit bigger than our Fiat 500 which we absolutely loved but due to the fact we occasionally take a bit longer drive and I haul a lot of music gear often I wanted some extra space for that. Plus good mileage and comfort were priorities. We met Mike our salesperson and found him to be very open straight forward answering all of our questions and providing guidance as WE requested it. This was important as both my wife and I should we have felt like we were being pulled into a 'deal' would have bolted for the door. Long story short. There was a test drive, and our night out for pizza delivered a Sonic to our driveway and we couldn't be happier. Mike is a wonderful reprehensive for Hendrick and Chevy. And Chevy has a wonderful dealer in Hendrick. As for Chevy, I'm amazed with the vehicle and couldn't be happier. Love our 2015 Sonic LT.

I traded a 2008 Yukon Denali in for the 2011 Chevy Z71. The Z71 was a recent flood vehicle. The salesman at the time and finance manager, really made me feel comfortable purchasing this vehicle. But, there were some things I had requested to be replaced on the Z71 prior to finalizing the deal and the finance manager granted all of those things to be replaced. Great! I purchased the vehicle!! Shortly after the deal was complete I contacted the dealer about the repairs. I got blown off as if we never spoke about the repairs. I didn't raise a fuss, even after I was told the dealer wasn't paying for the repairs. But, God is so good! I brought my truck in to be serviced and Joseph was my serviceman. I had spoken with Joseph my last service date and talked about how I had been disregarded. This time Joseph handled the repairs and insured me the others repairs would be handled also. I just want to thank Hendrix Chevrolet for having someone like Joseph handling customers. He listened to the problem and took action!! Thanks Jo, Tyrone

On March 21, 2015, my son, and I purchased a 2010 Mustang Convertible from this dealership. Premise, my husband was a little concerned with actually purchasing the car before the number of things that were going to have to be repaired by the service dept. were completed, but Chris Bell, Finance Manager, reassured him that we were not dealing with a backwoods used car sales lot; that we are HENDRICK and that we stand behind our product/work done. One of the items on the list of things to be repaired was the air conditioning. Being that it was an unusually cool Spring, my son did not have to use the air conditioning until mid April. Thats when he discovered that it was not cooling properly. He made an appointment for May 8th. He was told to be there at 7:00 a.m., when in reality the mechanics do not start until 8:00 a.m. After spending more than four hours waiting, he was told that the repair would cost $850. Of course, that was unacceptable and he tried to talk with his salesman, Mike Simpson. He was then told by the Service Manager that we could split the cost and that we were lucky they were willing to do that! Again, my husband had to get involved and since then has spoken with Jeremy Crook, Business Development, about 3 weeks ago and has been leaving messages left and right probably with everyone on their staff. The last call we had was from Jay Gunther on May 21st. He immediately returned Mr. Gunthers call and was told that Mr. Gunther was unavailable and so again, we wait. I would say that this is more than ridiculous and that their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. No one can make decisions and apparently they cannot return phone calls either. The vehicle was clearly not repaired correctly to begin with and once the condenser was replaced, they did not perform a leak check. The only reason it appeared to be working was that they had recharged it with Freon.

Scott Tramell is very nice. Although we didn't purchase a car, he was very helpful. The one thing we did not like was the bringing out of several managers to "seal the deal". No matter how many times we said no, not as an effort to haggle but really ready to go, they just did not seem to take no as an answer.

After setting up an appointment, and after 27 hours I called to find out the status of my vehicle. I was told directly that they do not honor the appointments. The appointment sevice is "forced" on them by Atlanta, and in Hoover they completely ignore this. As several google reviewers have stated, this dealership does not follow through and is extremely unprofessional. I will NEVER use this dealership again, and it calls into question whether I will use any Hendrix dealership. Go somewhere else if you want to be treated fairly and professionally.

We went pretty much knowing the car we wanted. After showing a picture to them they immediately knew which one it was. After all the paper work is done they go over everything in the car with you and show you how it works, which we thought was nice. Everyone was extremely nice and professional to work with. From the moment I walked in the door to drop my car off for repairs, until I picked up my car a few days later, I was kept informed at juncture. I was greeted immediately. Within minutes I had my rental car and the Hendrick and GEICO evaluated the damages with me. I was given an informational folder before departing. I received texts and emails that kept me informed of repair progress. As for me, I Hendrick will always be the place I go for repairs and, when the time comes, I will purchase a car from them. Traded in my car and bought a new car from Hendrick late on a Sunday evening. Because it was so late and the paperwork was not completed, they had me sign a loaner agreement and I took the car home with the agreement that I would come back the next day. Less than ten hours later and less than 20 miles on the car, I returned the next morning with the car before they even opened and told them that I did not want to purchase it. They had charged me for options that were not on the vehicle. When they would not agree to returning my trade-in to me, nor allow me to return the new vehicle, I asked to speak to the manager. The manager refused to meet or talk with me. I ended up losing several thousand dollars because of Hendrick's attitude toward customers.

I came in to see a Black 2011 Chevrolet Cruze LTZ, and was shown a Cyber Grey 2013 Chevrolet Cruze 2LT. At first I was a little angry that the car I wanted to see was sold and no one told me, but the car I was shown ended up being better looking and having less miles. The starting point for pricing was pretty steep and I didn't want to purchase a vehicle that did not have premium audio, but the dealership gave me a great deal on my trade and dropped the price of the car to make it a great deal. After agreeing to have aftermarket speakers put in the car to replace the so-so factory speakers I had to accept the offer, and now I have a nice new Chevy Cruze that is not only pretty, but sounds great as well. The salesman Jeremy Ivey went above and beyond my expectations, he is not your typical salesman and was wonderful to work with. I appreciate the Location Manager Matt and the Finance Manager Dan doing what they could to make the process as easy and enjoyable as possible.

Very disappointed! Our daughter is a college student in Birmingham and received a Recall Notice on her Cobalt. I called and spoke with the Service Manager. He said he needed her VIN# to order the parts. I didn't have it handy at the moment and he said to call back. I called back and left the information on his voice mail. I have called several times only to be sent to his voice mailbox to leave a message to make sure he got the VIN# in order to order the replacement parts. I started this process back in April. I have not heard back. This is very concerning since without this repair, serious problems can happen (has happened) to the Cobalt. I don't want my daughter to have an issue, especially since she is out of state. Sad thing is, I use to work for the Hendricks Chevy here in Duluth and I told the Service Manager that. In leaving him messages, I left that piece of information as well, so he would remember our conversation. I would not recommend any service repairs at the Hoover location. The sales department may be good, but it's the service department that will keep you coming back to buy cars from the dealer in the future.
