EDIT: Once again Hendrick's has made me a very happy repeat customer!! Traded in my car for a great price and purchased a Pre-Owned vehicle for a great price!! Couldn't be happier with the experience, the options, the professionalism and the service!! Scott S. is the best BTW and my sales guy was awesome!! I've purchased a lot of vehicles in a lot of states due to moving often in the military, this was by far the easiest, quickest and friendliest. Thanks to Doug and his team, I got the car I wanted. I went in to have the passive entry checked. I just bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee in December, brand new. I shouldn't be having issues. I bought my first Jeep with the help of Scott and absolutely LOVE it! He was patient during my 3 visits and took time to educate me, which was needed since I was moving out of the "mom" mini-van mode. I have always wanted a Jeep and am so enjoying driving it. The dealership was efficient; all employees I came in contact with were pleasant and responsive. Scott, in particular was kind, respectful, happy-natured, extremely knowledgeable and embodies the spirit of a Jeep driver! I would buy another vehicle from him in a heart-beat. He is the type of employee who makes car-buying less stressful and brings the joy into the process. I am so thankful it was him who I ended up working with. Hendrick has a great employee in Scott. We have bought 3 autos within the past year and all at Hendrick Chrysler Dodge RAM. We were fortunate to work with Scott Spainhour. He has great knowledge of the products inside and out and we did not feel like we were pressured to buy. He presented the facts and let us make a clear decision of what we wanted to do. Because of the first experience we knew where to go when the need arose to buy more autos. Scott answered any questions we had and researched the inventory to meet our needs. I am 18 years old and i came in to get my first car, i had 7000 in actual cash not cheek, hard core cash. I got a 2013 fiat 500 from them i was there for awile i was told the car was going to be ready in 30 mins they where finishing up cheeking the car to make sure it was nice for me .It took them longer then 30 mins to get the car ready took more then an hour to finish it. I was happy with the car till monday i came out of class at cpcc central my battery was really hot smelled like rotten eggs. I had to call my dad because it wouldnt start nor would the key release from the ignition. My dad showed up and relised the battery was bad we called and they told us the battery was covered under warrenty i had to buy a battery out of pocket because the car will not start with out a battery . Im a college student i dont have tons of money, the battery for the car was exspensive the autozone people tested the battery said it was bad and i had to buy a new one which ended up being 188. So i bought it put it in and called the dealership i had talked to a lady in service who told me that the battery was covered under the 3000 miles or 3 month warrenty she talked to a manager and said to bring in the receipt and they will reimburse me. I only had the car for 5 weeks and did about 2000 miles on it . The lady said we would be reimbursed for the battery under warrenty and now im told im not going to because i cant bring them the battery to test ? I also was told that they would cover my breaks because they where bad already and i only had the car 5 weeks. I droppend it off at 2pm to get fixed and they told me an hour and a half it will be ready. I waited till 5 had not heard anything back so i called was told that the service manager would get back to me in 10 mins. 30 mins later they call back saying the car wont be ready till 7 . I then was called back and told that they where going to do right by the breaks but wont do anything about the battery. When we asked why they where not going to do right by the battery they said they cant test the battery and that they need the battery . Well when u need a battery to get the car to the dealership autozone asks for the old battery to buy a new one. I was there at 2 i talked to the sales manager who said they would take care of everything and will call and let me know it was ready in an hour and a half why not tell us this when we where there. Im a young college girl who bought a used car that they told me was perfect and everything was good when i bought it only to find out i had bad breakes and already had to buy a battery. If i didnt get my breaks cheeked i wouldnt of known that my breaks where bad and i could of got hurt and knowing that this hendrick dealership let that happen and they dont stick to the warrenty on batterys that they give on the cars and the bad customer service i am receiving i will not be buying my next car from any hendrick dealership and i will not tell anyone to buy there car or there kids first cars from hendrick dealerships because of what i have experienced. If hendrick dealership gave good service, and honored there warrentys and what there service people say to customers and also actually cheeked there cars like they said i would of come back to buy my next car would tell people to come here but now im not a happy customer . I wish i could of gave a 5 but after today i wish i could give a zero but i cant. Be careful buying a car from hendrick and also get battery and brakes cheeked before buying a car from them.

On Monday the service department fixed an issue with my car and told me it was safe to drive out of town for work in a few days. I'm currently 7 months pregnant, 2 hrs from home, and my car has the EXACT SAME ISSUE that is had when the dealership had it. After paying them to look at my carand tell me all diagnostic tests came out great I trusted these people. I'm going on my second day stuck out of town, and in tears at an airport waiting for family to come get me. This issue will be addressed at a higher level once I return home. Thanks for your "service".....

Horrible customer service. Horrible experience. All the way from the service manager to the GM. Not accommodating. Insensitive comments made: "well I can't cure cancer" as if that's a excuse as to why you can't fix my car. You can take a car apart. You're right you can't cure cancer. Incompetent staff. All around terrible experience. DON'T DO BUSONESS HERE!!

Worse customers service ever!!!! Never been to a dealer that takes 2 days to close the deal. People are walking everywhere but no one offer to help. Went there because my son really want the gray jeep they have. 2 months went by and still waiting for lincese plate. Can't really talk to anyone. Every time I call I get transfer to 10 different voices mail. No one ever call you back either. It's such a pain

Hendrick is the most ass backwards buying experience I have ever experienced. To begin with I signed on a 2015 Mustang GT and was ready to walk out the door until they recalled their offer after I signed on the car because of an airbag recall. Then I generously decided to give Hedrick another chance and signed on another car... after a month of owning the car they have informed me that they are unable to get the title from the previous owner of the car. What am i supposed to do?

Long story: My mother sends me a text (I'm in SC) to tell me that my 81 year old father went out the night before and traded their 2 year old van...that was in perfect condition...for a new van. The problem? It cost $200 more a month. I call and find out that the van has fewer features than the other and that now my father realized what he had done. I was furious! I drove up to Hendricks to find the salesperson and rip into him. (He will tell you that I had fire coming out of my eyes). I was determined to get my father's van back and reverse this deal! I met the sales person (Aaron)...I wouldn't even shake his hand. He sat me down and proceeded to tell me the whole story. Come to find out, he really was taking care of my father...who was in the hole BIG TIME from the former purchase (not from Hendricks). Aaron and his manager actually went back and found money that the former dealer didn't give to my dad (refund on GAP, etc...), which went toward this new purchase. I sat with Aaron, for nearly 2 hours figuring out how we could get my dad what he really wanted without sacrificing anything and it costing them more. We did...my father got the van he wanted...and now everyone is happy. I was so pleased with how the folks (Aaron especially) cared about doing the right thing. And my husband was so pleased, that he went the following weekend and traded his car in for a 200. I have always liked the Hendricks dealerships (I own a Toyota from them) and I won't purchase from anyone else! I want to thank Aaron Wishnefsky for being so kind and patient. The BEST!

My experience here was the worst I have had at any dealership. I leased a 2017 Pacifica Limited 2 weeks ago. I filled out the paperwork and was asked about purchasing add on protection plans. I declined the plans, and when I looked at the paperwork and it seemed as if the plan was added in but was told that was not the case. After signing the paperwork I asked for a copy but was told I would get a copy when I brought my trade in so they could write down the mileage. I came to pick up the vehicle with my trade in and the interior was not the color we chose. After adamant dialogue that I was NOT going to take that color they agreed to put in the correct interior. I asked for a copy of the paperwork and was told that it was mailed. What????? How could you mail it prior to getting the mileage. Six (6) days passed while waiting for the interior to be changed, but NO paperwork came in the mail. When I went to pick up the vehicle they still did not have the paperwork I signed. I insisted that I was not leaving without some paperwork a manager printed me a copy (unsigned) with almost 3,000 in maintenance plans added on. Besides that when I was checking out the vehicle the stow away seats would not work (probably due to some loose connection when they changed the leather on the rear seats.) While the leather was changed to the black alloy the trim was still beige (horrible looking) together. They agreed to change the trim to match. I now have had the vehicle two weeks and cannot fold down the rear seats, still have no signed paperwork. I got my bill to pay the first note in 20 days however. Only contact I have with the dealer is when I Call them. What a joke. Should have went back to Honda or kept my Benz. I have a New vehicle that I cannot fully use. If things do not change I will address on another level.

Bought and traded my first car "on my own" in over 20 years. I initially visited a Jeep dealership nearer to me and they dismissed me. The employees at Hendrick of Concord-Mark Breeden (Sales), Tom (Management), Lee Brown (Finance) and Randy Hembree (Service) all treated me great respect. Just bought a RAM 3500 DRW with Cummins diesel with an Aisin transmission. The truck was brought in from another dealer. Hendrick employees inspected and detailed it. I was surprised about some extras on the truck I didn't know about that didn't cost me extra. My experience from start to finish was awesome and the price was well below list. I worked with Tom Bryon (sales manager) and Leggy was the sales rep. Ryan Ellis is also a sales manager. Everyone I worked with was professional and very nice/polite. They went above and beyond for us. I definitely will return to them whenever I need anything.

We purchased a 2015 RAM truck at market price. Salesmen were very professional during the transaction. However the truck was delivered dirty. We missed the dirt at delivery, as it was the evening and we had previously drove and inspected the truck. Bed liner was dirty and the interior door pockets and dash had not been wiped clean. Basically Hendrick's team did not prep the vehicle properly as promised. Very disappointing that I have to detail a new vehicle day after I purchase it.

I have owned fullsize pick-up trucks for several years now, but I had recently been thinking about purchasing an SUV. The Jeep brand has always intrigued me so I went to Hendrick Jeep in Concord to see what they had to offer. I had already done a fair amount of internet research, and based on the options I wanted and the amount of money I thought I could afford to spend, I figured I would start my looking at the Jeep Cherokee. I met with Paul Boyd when I arrived at the dealership. We hit it off right away. No pressure from Paul. He provided a lot of information on the vehicles they had available that might meet my needs. We started off looking at a nicely loaded Cherokee Limited 4x4. It had all the options that I wanted. It was very comfortable and drove awesome, BUT, the interior was a little too small for me (big guy). Especially, coming from a full size crew cab pick-up. So, Paul showed me a Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4. After driving this one I was hooked. The Cherokee was a great SUV, but the Grand Cherokee was "just right" for me! I got the feeling Paul knew that would be the case. He just didn't push me, rather let me find out for myself. The complete experience at Hendrick Jeep was one of the best I have had. I am sure all their sales associates are excellent, but I highly recommend calling ahead and asking for Paul. OK, done with this review.... time to go play with the "new toy"!!

My SRT Charger shut off in Concord, NC on the way to the Auto Fair at the race track. I called AAA and had the car towed to Hedrick Dodge. Tom DeFeo, Service Advisor, said that they would work on the car within the next hour or two, and reserved a rental car and had an employee take me to pick it up. He called a few hours later to tell me the car was repaired and to take my time at the car show. Six hours from home, trying to get to a very large show and a problem with my car. Went to view a wrangler listed with an Eprice that wasn't explained to me before I was there. The jeep was marked at 40,000 on the window sticker and when making an offer they jacked the price up saying the sticker was incorrect and when I tried to explain they got defensive trying to make excuses. The demeanor of the sales associate went from super nice to totally rude by the end. I walked away went to Gerry wood in Salisbury had WAY better service, and got a way better price which includes free lifetime oil changes. Don't Mess with Hendrick they are not willing to negotiate realistically and make you feel likeA crook for offering a fair amount on a new wrangler.

Yes, the Sublime Green Hellcat and the new model Daytona were fabulous cars to see but they were not my reason for visiting Hendrick Dodge. My wife and I went there to test drive a Promaster City Wagon. I wanted her to see the vehicle.When we got there we were put in touch with Mr. George Bethune from the commercial sales department. George was very attentive and kind to us.One of the "Mysteries" I needed to solve with this vehicle had to do with the electronics of the vehicle. I needed to know if the long antenna on top of the van could be replaced with a shorter mast so that I could park it underneath my 80" carport. The van itself is 74" from the ground up to the high center but the mast, laid completely back (it moves a little) had a clearance of about 83". Backing into my carport the mast was going to catch and then bend severely to the point of perhaps snapping (it's fiberglass wrapped in thin and thick wire). So I needed a shorter mast and George was very helpful in solving this issue. He was very patient with us. I wasn't going to buy now and find out later I had a problem with parking. I could not modify the carport (aluminum and steel).I did not buy the van at Hendrick Dodge. It was not the exact model I was looking for. George was very helpful and even said he could probably find the van in the color and features I wanted at the port but I still wanted to shop all the dealers around so we said thanks. If Hendrick had the vehicle in the color and features I was looking for I would have been more than happy to buy from George. He knew his product very well and he was a kind easy gentleman to converse with. No aggressive pressure. Had my Jeep serviced and the experience was awesome. Typically I go to a different dealership that is closer to work, but Hendrick is closer to my house and after this experience I will keep coming back. They called me to inform me of any issues before ever moving forward with anything, always keeping me informed. I had very specific requests and they followed through will all of these requests (which doesn't usually happen when I go to other dealerships. Usually 've had to go back and make them fix things because they didn't do what I asked). They advised me of an issue and I made another appointment to have it fixed. Again they were amazing and my Jeep is running like new. My service advisors were Kaylan Ryon and Matt Trenary and they both were great. They listened to my requests and made sure everything was handled properly. I highly recommend them and the service department.

I've had a difficult time with Hendrick recently, however the sales manager Kristin Lents has made every attempt to rectify the situation. While I'm still on the fence about purchasing a second vehicle from this dealership the overall culture is that they do care. There is always some bad apples in every bunch, but the competent management of the dealership will ensure customer satisfaction. Overall a great dealership that will actively work to solve conflict in customer relationship management.

Went in on a Saturday and found a car I was looking to buy. Price looked good and test drive went well. After filling out a finance application they come back and tell me the price on the car ON THEIR LOT was incorrect. They wouldn't honor it. People spend all day trying to get a price lower than what's on the car and I couldn't even get the price they list. I was disappointed and surprised a dealership like this would pull something like that. People I dealt with were really great, just ineffective on delivering in the end. Find yourself a dealership with some integrity and pass on this place.

The whole buying process took a whopping 6 or 7 hours. Took a lot of negotiating but over all they eventually gave me more for my trade than any other place would and sold me the car I wanted at a good price. This is a very busy dealership though so don't be in a hurry. Communication outside of the dealership is slow (email, call backs etc) so if you want to get things done you have to go there. And even then they are slow! They need to get up to modern times on this. Lots of deals done on the phone guys...just get yourselves up to date on this process. I would buy from again. One other HUGE plus about these guys is they are open on Sunday. VERY smart!

Hendrick Jeep showroom was very busy that afternoon so Victor, a sales manager, met with us personally and talked with us until a salesperson was available. Lashanda Preston introduced herself to us a few minutes later and was very accommodating, straightforward and helpful in out buying experience. We had friendly negotiations with Victor and Lashanda and left the dealership new owners! I think one thing that makes the dealership work is that the salesperson is paid salary and not straight commission. Working out the financing is always stressful (it is about your money!) however the finance manager we worked with, Stanley Boyd worked out the details without pushing unwanted packages on us. Second dealership offered $6,000 less on my trade-in that the first one did! Clearly, all dealerships are NOT the same. I live in Massachusetts and on the Saturday before Columbus Day I towed a Uhaul trailer to Charlotte NC to visit family. I had learned the lights on the trailer weren't working so I checked the hitch plugs to find no power and no blown fuses.I walked into Hendrick Jeep on Saturday morning and explained if I didn't get the hitch wiring to work, it would cost me over $200.00 to leave the trailer. They were completely booked but said if I left my jeep they would see if they could fit it in. Later that afternoon, Service Advisor Tom DeFeo called to say they found the problem and fixed the wiring and asked me who installed the hitch. I explained I had it installed at Harr Chrysler Jeep in Worcester MA. He then said that because I went to a dealer I had expected it would be done right and it should have been. He then said he would not charge me the normal $175.00 to install a towing module and program computer to recognize the hitch, which is what Harr did not do. He designated the work under warranty, said there was no charge and I could pick up any time. I can't say enough for the integrity of Hendrick Jeep in Concord, NC. Knowing I lived 800 miles away and would likely never return for service, they went above and beyond my wildest expectation. I had originally picked Hendrick because my daughter-in-law's sister took her car to Hendrick Volkswagen exclusively. If you ever are in need of service in the Concord, NC area, don't even hesitate to go to Hendrick Jeep. I have never had an experience at a dealership like this before.

I had built a Dodge Durango on the dodge website and it matched perfectly to a Durango on their lot. I made an appointment at 10am I was quickly greeted by the man I had an appointment with and he said he had a meeting and that I would have to be assisted by another salesman, Spencer. They were very quick to get the vehicle pulled out front and let me look through it. The salesman answered every question I had and he was just an all around great guy! The finance guy seemed kind of pushy and rushed when I asked some questions, but we ended up with good terms and I came home with a new car that I love! This was also the fastest car buying experience I've ever had! I was in and out in about 4 hours, including paperwork and all the boring stuff. We have an used Chrylser Mini Van. It has been giving us problems recently. We decided to take it to a dealer, boy did we choose the right one. Tom Defeo is the service rep we met on arrival and from there we have been in good hands. He has taken the time to put us at ease. Now get this...They fixed what they could and let us know to dig deeper into the problem would probably cost us more than the van was worth(it has over 200k miles)I appreciated that honesty and condor. With everything else in life that you buy, the price is clearly listed and that's what you pay for it, but with car buying, the listed price is always jacked up and you have to haggle and negotiate for a decent deal. We had spent several weeks searching at numerous car dealerships in Charlotte, Rock Hill, Concord, and the NC triad region. Almost everywhere we went, we had to deal with "cheezy" sales people that had the stereotypical "used car salesman" personality, even though we were dealing with reputable franchise dealerships and looking at new cars. Most of them gave us a condescending attitude when we tried to negotiate and said "this is the final price, as low as we go", only to call us back the next day to offer a better deal on what had been the "final price" the day before. All that being said, we did NOT get that treatment at Hendrick Jeep in Concord. We were treated with respect and courtesy throughout the entire process. Spencer Boyd was our salesman, and he did a great job of assisting us with making our purchase of a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. We felt like we got a good deal on the vehicle, but what really made us decide to purchase from Hendrick Jeep was Spencer and the way that he treated us. Will def look here again the next time we purchase a vehicle.

Customer service was excellent. Typically car business people have a negative stigma, but these guys are the opposite. Worked with Randy, outstanding salesman. Addressed all my needs and concerns and gave me useful information on the Wrangler I had come searching for. Bob and Tom, both are managers. Also treated me with respect and very approachable, gave me a fair deal. I did not end up buying the Wrangler (yet) but I will definitely come back to these guys and would recommend to anyone.

Went in to buy a used Grand Cherokee. I was told that the Cherokee was more in my price range because the Grand Cherokee I was looking for come with higher miles. Agreed to take the Cherokee for a ride and did not enjoy it. Before I got into the car, I was asked what was the purpose of my visit? Was I buying today or just looking. Why would you ask that question? After my test ride and me telling the sales associate I was not interested, he told me that he wanted to double check that no used grand cherokee's came in the last two days, because he wasn't working? Really, because we spent about 40 minutes prior to the test drive looki b g through his used inventory. The topper was that he came ba k to me and said he might have a vehicle that would fit my price range in the lot. Assuming that, I figured he might have a grand cherokee. I walked outside and he tries to sell me a chevy equionix. This guy never listened to me, was just trying to sell me something. My first experience with Hendrick was when I made my first oil change appointment. When I called they told me I really didn't need an appointment because it doesn't take long and I would be in and out in about 20 minutes but I insisted on making an appointment since I was driving all the way up there from Ft. Mill. I waited for an oil change for over 3.5 hours. Yes, 3.5 hours.Second, have had 2 issues with my BRAND NEW Jeep in the first 3 months I purchased here. First issue, I called and spoke to someone and I was told I couldn't get an appointment until 10 days later. Second issue, my doors wouldn't lock. I called and was rerouted 4 different times to a receptionist. I left a message with her stating my issue that my doors wouldn't lock and I was going out of town in 1 hour and I needed someone to call me back ASAP. After NOT receiving a call back 1.5 hours later, I drove up to Hendrick and was told my doors not being able to lock WASN'T a safety issue and they wouldn't give me a loaner and wouldn't be able to look at my car for at least 2 hours. After leaving with the faulty locks to drive out of town, I received a call 3.5 hours later in response to my initial call. They had NO idea I was there, reported my issue and left. Will NEVER buy another car from here and will NEVER recommend anyone else to buy here.

First off I've been to alot of dealerships and this one by far is the most organized and we'll kept that I've seen in a very long time. Soon as we got there we were welcomed by the staff and asked if we needed help. We said just wanted to look around. Now most dealerships would try to push you into something by now but not them. Very polite and said with a smile. If you have any questions we're happy to help. And with that my brother and I looked around the lot at your own pace. Found a few trucks we liked. Then we went to find a staff member to take to. All in all a very smooth and helpful dealership. They worked with us and helped me get into a new 2015 ram worktruck. Exceeded our expectations......................I take great pleaser in writing this review for Hendrick Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM of Concord. I knew exactly what vehicle I wanted prior to coming to the dealership. Seen it online, came to the dealership and was helped by Mr. Brittain Staton. I told Mr. Staton what vehicle I was interested in, he whipped out his smart phone and ask is this the one, I replied yep. Two minutes later he brought the vehicle to the front of the dealership for my wife and me to see. I must say Mr. Staton was very confident and knows how to communicate to and deal with our needs. Within 10 minutes of talking to us he knew he had sold us our new Dodge Ram 1500. Now on to see the finance office to close the deal. WOW....met with Mr. Mark Wright. Get ready his job is not only to explain your financing but to sell you an extended service contract and an oil change program. This is not a bad thing just make sure you can afford it and if it for you. Spent about two hours with him which I though was a little too much time, but left satisfied. Before leaving Mr. Brittain had transferred all my personnel belongings from my trade in to the new vehicle and showed us how to operate all our new bells and whistles on the Ram 1500. I will recommend this dealership to my family and friends. Thank you again Mr. Staton.

My wife and I decided to swing in to the dealership on a Saturday and were welcomed in the parking lot by Dustin Griffin (our salesman) he pointed out that he noticed the Star Wars stickers on the back of our van and I knew that I could work with a man that could could understand the reference and name the AT-AT. He introduced himself professionally and greeted my whole family including my young children; after a discussion about my wife and I's desires in a vehicle he grabbed the keys to the exact vehicle my wife was thinking of. To me I felt it was very important that he listened to my wife (she will be the driver) and not just talked with me. The whole process I felt like he was on my side, he even found that my company had substantial discount. The management was friendly and interactive with all the employees and customers, I felt like the whole dealership was running effectively despite being extremely busy. When it came to the financial segment of the purchase, John Cauble was very helpful and efficient, he showed me the value in many of the programs offered with the car, and also made me feel good about being a return customer. After finishing up the car was ready to go and unfortunately my cell phone was dead so I could not take a picture of the stickers that started this whole process so Dustin was kind enough to take a picture of it and send it to me so I will have the memory. I ordered a custom built challenger in march and was assured that the car would be built as specified by Lashanda Preston. Lashanda was not knowledgeable about the challenger. She assured me that the seats on the car would be black with red inserts but when receiving the car it had completely red seats which I did not want. I even called after making the order to verify it would be as ordered and was assured it would be. I was never notified when the car arrived and I had to constantly call and check. When receiving the car I was told it was damaged on arrival and needed a new part. I understand mistakes happen but there were also scratches on the car that were never reported. Also my gas and brake pedals were never installed and I had to do this my self. You would think that after spending over 30k that the pedals would be installed. Eddie Papp handled the pickup of my car and was very professional. He took my car to have the scratches detailed out but it was 9pm when the detail was complete and I had to leave. The next day I see on my car that the scratches are still there. I was told by Eddie that the scratches could be taken out when the damaged part was in. Several weeks later I brought my car in to have the scratch removed and fixed and I was assured that the scratch was fixed but when picking up the vehicle I saw that the scratch was still there and the clear coat seemed to be diminishing due to the buffing on the car. At this point I have given up on the scratch and don't want the clear coat to get any more diminished. I am disappointed in the service that was provided initially with Lashanda due to here never even calling to apologize for providing me the incorrect info. I am also disappointed in Dodge and Hendrick Concord for the frustrating service provided. I never received the survey for my purchase so this is why I am leaving this detailed review.

My husband and I love our "new to us" 2010 Ford Explorer Sport Track we purchased from Hendrick. Our experience has been mixed. Cory was our sales rep. There is much to be said about persistence. There is a fine line between customer service and feeling pressured. Cory walked that line very well. There were moments that he provided all the answers we needed and there were other times that he did not mind to be very curt. He provided many services such as going the extra mile to be sure to correct a problem with the detailing of the vehicle. Somehow the left side of the vehicle was showered with overspray of some sort. Cory made sure the vehicle was buffed and the overspray removed. When the vehicle began leaking when we got home with it, Cory made sure to arrange for us to return it to the dealership for repair. Then there was the fact that he (Cory) didn't want us to view the vehicle on his day off, which just happened to be the only day that we could view the vehicle. He finally made arrangements to be there the day that we wanted to come, but he made it very clear that he had canceled some very important plans with his fiance to be there for us. He also called us continually the afternoon that we were supposed to be there, I think I counted a total of 7 phone calls back and forth. 7 calls in just a couple hours is not necessary. Then there was an issue of having only one key. Cory and I and my husband had several back and forths about how much it would cost to get another one. Cory was determined (and argued) that the key was not chipped and would be no problem to get another. Turns out it IS chipped and will cost us about $150.00 to replace (per our local Ford dealership) Cory also was very adamant making me aware that we could not hold Hendrick responsible for this vehicle because it was NOT a Hendrick vehicle. WHAT???!!! I replied that I purchased this vehicle from Hendrick and although it was a FORD product, Hendrick was the dealership I purchased it from and HE (Cory) was a representative of Hendrick. He used an analogy of me not being able to hold his fiance accountable for something his x-wife did. (???) Will was our finance guy. He has a great personality and did a great job. There have been some bumps along the way on the paperwork end as well. Will worked very hard to offer us some sort of extended warranty that provided us with some protection without breaking the bank. I can't exactly blame Will for this problem, but we are still waiting to be able to tag our vehicle. The 30-day tag will run out in about 10 days or so. We have done everything we were supposed to do, added and paid the insurance, and paid the property taxes. That's where our job has ended and Hendricks begins. I called last Thursday( 2 weeks after the purchase) to inquire what we were supposed to do to get a tag. I spoke to John in finance this time (Will was not in). John told me we should have been given a fed-ex envelope to send a receipt from when we paid the property taxes back to Hendrick so that they could send this receipt over to their title division to forward the title work to Columbia SC for us to then be able to get a tag. John was going to over night the envelope to us on Thursday, May 21. We should have had it on Friday. It has not arrived. I called John back on Saturday morning to make him aware that we had not received our package. Late Saturday afternoon he left me a message that said to check our porches. Fed-Ex will leave these packages there. (Don't you think I did that already?) My husband called yesterday and left a message with John. No return call. I called this morning to speak with Will, he was not in his office and did not have voicemail set up. I called right back and asked for John again and left yet another message. So in summary, we really like our vehicle, great price, low mileage, clean and just what we wanted. But if someone doesn't call us back soon, it will be parked because we can't get a tag. I said that I would not recommend this dealership on the review, but that doesn't apply to everyone I worked with. Some were very helpful and courteous. I just hate that buying a used vehicle is so complicated.

I started the process by filling out a request for information online and was contacted very quickly by the Internet Sales Manager, Jason Tarlowe, who set up a meeting for the following day for a test drive and evaluation of my trade. That trip was quick and productive and resulted in a quote for purchase. The following day, we negotiated a final purchase price over the phone and I was in and out in under an hour, including all finance work and showing me how all the new gadgets operate. I had to come back a few days later to have the sat-nav activated, which was done quickly and included showing me how to work the nav. All in all, it was as good of an experience as I have had while purchasing a vehicle.

Lee Wells and the rest of the Hendrick team was a pleasure to deal with. I inquired about a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited on a Monday via the internet (as I live 2.5 hours from the dealership) and by Tuesday evening I was on my way to pick it up. I first must say that in search of a new Jeep ive had some issues. They all could have been avoided had I listened to my family from the start. Hendrick CDJ was so great to work with, and really I hesitate to use the word "work". I sent an email inquiry just as many do, and within no time I recived a phone call and an email with questions as to what I was looking for, info abiut my trade ect. Well the next day it took two phone calls and a couple of emails about my trade and we had found exactly what I was looking for and in my budget. Scott Spainhour greeted me when I arrived from my nearly two hour drive, and everything was good to go with no hassle. He knows his product, made the purchase extremely unstressful, and was very patient with me and my slow credit union. It is so worth it to drive to a great dealer and I recommend everyone go to Hendrick.

I had found the car I was interested in on the internet, so I knew what I wanted before I drove the 100 miles to purchase from this dealership. I was very impressed with Jorgen and his dedication in explaining and demonstrating all features of the vehicle. Due to some traffic delays, it was getting late as we were closing out the deal and the financing. My husband and I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to the 'Big Swede' for all his help in our recent purchase and also our prior purchase. We have never met anyone as knowledgeable as Jorgen. He gave us so much information about our vehicles and has extended further assistance. I took my 1500 in for an oil change and the technician spilled oil down the front of the grill which was not cleaned up or even attempted to be cleaned. There was oil gathered in a pool on my bumper. When confronted about the situation they gave me a free detailing. Very professional of them however when I got my truck back they said my truck has acid rain and would need to be buffed out and would cost me...I stopped the service manager and asked for my keys. I will never recommend this company to anyone. I will drive to Charlotte before hendrick dodge gets any of my money.

My first experience with Hendricks CDJR Concord was getting the oil changed in my 1965 Dodge Dart. I used the coupon they sent to me and and it cost less than If I did it myself. The service folks were friendly and very helpful. While I was waiting for my car to be done, I met Pruduct Specialist, Cory Lyle. I told Cory that I was getting the oil changed on my dart but my wife and I were thinking about getting a new suv in near future. Without any pressure, he graciously showed me some vehicles and answered every question I asked, truthfully. I told him I was not ready to buy that day and that I wanted my wife to drive too. He gave me his card and said just give me a call or come by when you are ready and we will drive some vehicles. No pressure, I like that. Cory was off when we came back to drive the vehicles but he said we could ask for Product Specialist, Rick Sayward. Just like Cory, Rick was no pressure and answered every question we had. We traded in our 1965 dart on a Jeep Cherokee limited that day. Thanks to all.

After leaving Lake Norman Jeep, I contacted Hendrick to see what they could do for me. I worked with Dustin, a recently new employee who was exceptional. He showed me the vehicles that I was interested in and explained some of the new features that Jeep had added since our 2012 model.During the whole process, they weren't pushy, trying to trick or confuse me, or playing games. They quickly gave me a great price that we then were able to negotiate on. They cleaned the car all up, helped me move our items between cars and and then helped me set a few things up in the vehicle before I left.They seem to realize and understand that they don't need to sell cars, they just need to help people find the car that works with them and get them a fair price. I wish more dealerships would adopt that mentality.

After visiting other dealerships we decided to give Hendrick CDJR of Concord a try as they had several models on the lot of the vehicle we were interested in (some other dealers didnt have the vehicles on their lots and Hendrick CDJR had several). We met with Paul Boyd at the dealership and he showed us the vehicles they had that we were interested in. We thouroughly reviewedtwo vehicles of the same model because of their differences in price and options. Paul was very helpful in our analysis of the two vehicles and was very patient with all of our questions. Jerry also came into the picture towards the end of the negotiation process and was very helpful as well. Paul and Jerry made the process very easy and as enjoyable as a car buying experience can be. We closed on the sale 2 hours after closing so Paul offered to meet with us the next day so that we would have plenty of time to walk through the demonstration of the features of the vehicle so we would know about and understand how to use all of the options. Very friendly and professional environment at Hendrick CDJR of Concord. I usually dont spend time writing reviews, but wanted others to know about my experience because it was far more enjoyable than some of the other dealerships we had visited.

Both were great to work with getting to a negotiated price once we settled on the vehicle and options. My only issue would be the amount of time it takes once a price is set until you get to see Finance, work through the paperwork and take delivery. Jorgen knew the product and features of the Cherokee far better than anyone else we had talked with at other local dealerships. He demonstrated the features and really helped me understand the safety options that were available. He even offered to deliver the car to our house to surprise my daughter and then took pics of her when she was giving Mom and Dad big hugs for the car! I had been to several other dealerships where I was told that I could not get out from under an upside down loan of my current car without putting down $4,000.00. stopped in at Hendrix because I like dodges. Scott met us at the car and asked what he could do and I explained my situation to him and he said well lets see what we can do for you. and stated let me go talk to my manager. and finally he came back and said lets look at some cars. I found one that I liked told him where needed payment at and they worked with me and got me what I wanted and at a payment i could afford. I recieved the best treatment from everyone there. Unfortunately, there were some miscommunications on both sides but Joe Owens stepped in and spent a great deal of time with us, making things right. When we came in Sunday, he was off, but we were helped by another Finance Manager, Lee Brown. At all times all three employees were extremely helpful and friendly.I would like to point out that the Credit Score that they used provided by Equifax was roughly 100 points below my score with TransUnion and Experian. Asked why they used Equifax and was told that was who businesses use. Personally think they need to reevaluate this.

I had found a car which suited my needs, and had planned on trading my current vehicle in for a car they were advertising. The sales personal were well mannered and weren't pushy, and I rather liked the entire process. It was not until I heard the discussion between two sales personnel of the dealership which through me off.As I was sitting and waiting I overheard the conversation, between my sales rep and his manager. I understand dealerships are about making money and selling vehicles, but the last thing I want to hear is how well the dealership is making compared to the customer. I overheard the manager say, "Looks like we did very good for ourselves on this deal." The comment is not over the top, but when you factor in the process of buying a car, the last thing you want too hear as a customer is how well the dealership did. Secondly, I did my research and due diligence on what I brought to the table when it came to purchasing the car. When the sales manager came back to me and told me my credit score, I was shocked. I average a credit score of 760, and when he came back with a 700 I was surprised. He said it was because of my credit score that I could not get a better rate. After sitting there for several hours and making the three hour commute I decided to go forth with the purchase regardless of these two issues.Advice to sales team: Do not discuss how well the deal is going for the dealership compared to the customer, when the customer is within hearing distance. Secondly, there is a major difference between an Excellent credit score versus a Good credit score, so do not give the customer a bogus piece of information (I checked my credit score yesterday, and it still averaged 760 between all three reporting agencies).

Went to Hendricks in concord thinking they were a better dealership. They lied to me from the beginning drove 200 miles just to come there. I had talked with 3 different people that neither one were on the same page. Dont trust internet prices or what they tell you on the phone. I ended up going back to Steve White Chrysler jeep in Newton. Internet prices are exact. Financed the same jeep with better options for $1500 cheaper and worked on the interest rate and payments to where I needed them. Hendricks did none of that.

I went in knowing what car I wanted to check out. The sales person, Brooke, who approached us turned out to be the person who took the car in so she was thoroughly knowledgeable about it. She let me know that she wanted to sell us a car but she gave us room to breathe as well. I was not ready to buy the first day I walked in and she did not push me to buy before I left. That made me want to go back to her when we returned to buy the car. As usual, they tried to sell me other things like service packages and maintenance deals which is always very irritating when you have already more or less gotten your bottom line money amount. I guess some things never change! But Brooke is the best and I would recommend her to anyone!!

After much research, My wife and I decided on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. We came into the dealership fully prepared to purchase a New Model. The initial contact was with John who was very helpful and patient as we test drove two different vehicles, a 4x2 and 4x4 version of the Grand Cherokee. We decided on the 4x4 model and started the paperwork. That is where everything went down hill. John informed us that he will need some assistance since this was his first week on the job and we understood. We interacted with a sales consultant named Matt and a gentleman who introduced himself as Jerry. Jerry said he was one of the finance or sales managers, I don't remember. They asked us about our trade and what payment we are looking for. We told them around no more than $450 a month. Jerry said that would be doable and then asked me what I did for a living. I told him I was a paramedic and then he said "Well we need to look at the cheaper model then".I said okay then, run the numbers on both vehicles, so we can compare them. They came back only with the least expensive model, marked up the price $3000 more than they advertised the vehicle online, and offered a monthly payment of $565. They also ignored the sign in the dealership that read $1000 dollar bonus cash that was placed on top of a Grand Cherokee inside the showroom. To add insult, they low balled our trade at $4000, $1500 less that what KBB said we could get for our vehicle on trade. I called them out on the discrepancy of price and they said "That is the best we can do, cause you know everybody wants a Grand Cherokee". At that point, we decided to leave. If they have had listen to us on the price discrepancy and offered all incentives that they advertised we would have driven home in a new vehicle. Stinks because, all other reviews posted about this dealership are excellent. Just wish we could have had the same experience.For the record:$32595 base price-$3000 advertised "internet price"-$1000 dollar bonus cash-$5500 trade allowance-$500 discount for being a public servant (Thankful for this because they did not have to do it)=$22595. $22595 should have been the price they came to us with and they would have had an immediate sale.-Andy

I was able to setup a really good deal through the internet group. This was followed up by conversations with the sales group(Scott S) who was able to produce order paperwork and send via email so I could get $ from my bank.The trip to dealership for delivery was just as painless. Scott had a really good in depth understanding of the vehicle(JGC), probably more than any auto sales person I had dealt with for the past couple of decades. Over the last few weeks I have been stopping into this dealership in search of a Challenger. My first two experiences at the dealer with Rick and Stan were very positive which solidified my decision to purchase from Rick. Tonight I returned to the dealer asking for Rick but was informed he was off today. John Lala immediately came over to let me know Rick was not available and how could he help find what I need. Then Vic joined in to push for me to test drive a car older and not the color I wanted. While I decided to take a test drive I was not comfortable with not dealing with Rick but figured if we were to get together on a deal I would push for Rick to get at least half the credit. After the drive this is where it fell apart. On my return to the dealership I told John I would entertain a price on the car, but it would have to be a great deal because of age and color. He went off for a bit to come back saying he would need to get Vic or Stan to put together the numbers. I asked for Stan to be involved because of my past positive experience with him and I was not impressed with Vic. Stan came over with the initial number which was substantially higher than the car was worth even given the lower mileage. He asked of a number which I told him based on where he was negotiating would be an insult, but he pressed anyway. He commented the price he was quoting was fair market value, but I returned a number significantly lower than his asking price. After going to negotiate he came back with a number still a couple of thousand dollars higher than I was willing to pay so we pleasantly said good by.After my return home I decided to do research on the value of the car to see if I was really off in my offer. I was amazed to find that the fair market value I found given mileage, options and condition was in line with what I offered and thousands less than the first offer. In addition one if the sites gave a reference price when this was new back in 2009 which was only $1-$2 thousand more than they were asking for it as a used car. While they noted this was a certified car (doubtful given there was loos e trim and other items which were not repaired as expected to find on a certified vehicle) the price was thousands above what all the rating sites and even other dealers we're offering as fair market value.It is unfortunate this all happened because I was prepared to give this dealer my business, however given the practice of high retail prices, add on stickers with features with minimal value, and what appeared to be disregard for Rick as pressing to make a sale without him, I will not be back to this or any Hendrick dealership again. I am doing this because I want to make sure everyone goes in with their eyes open. I believe in a business making a fair profit, but what I found to me is excessive based on many other past car buying experiences.Yes I see all of the positive reviews, but this reviewer clearly went from receiving what was building as a similar great experience to one that was destroyed in a matter of 2 hours. This is an edit the day after....To make matters worse this morning when I checked the dealer website the car was at a price much less than what was originally offered last night. It also said the price had been adjusted a couple weeks ago. So again more to establish lack of ability to trust this dealer to provide a straight shooting deal. Also wanted to make sure this was NO reflection on Rick who I still consider a stand up salesman.

I thoroughly pleased with my new purchase of a Dodge Ram 1500 Pickup Truck that I bought at Hendrick Dodge of Concord. Last November I participated in the Dodge upgrade program in where I could upgrade my first Challenger to a 2014 model with more features for close to the same payments. Well shortly after I had the new Challenger, this annoying rattle was bothering me. I took the car in to Hendrick Dodge for repair. The Service Department made every attempt to correct this problem but after a time I had to wait for a part to hopefully fix the problem I became frustrated and unhappy with the car. I know that eventually they would get the problem fixed, it had left me raw. I went in to have its scheduled service and while I was there I was approached by Paul Boyd. He must have seen my unhappy look because he treated me as if I was family and ask if there was anything he or anyone at the dealership could help with. He offered me a drink and we sat down to talk. After I discussed the issues of the Challenger I had noticed that he had a racing picture on his desk and Paul said that was his son. Paul showed me some more pictures and I realized that I had attended community college with Pauls son. We laughed at how a small world this was and this conversation was actually making me feel better. During this time Jeff Dumbaugh had my Challenger moved ahead and serviced quickly. I realized that I would still be waiting for the repair to my car and that we all were waiting for a part that I thought was coming on the slow boat from China. I had noticed the new Ram trucks when I came in and I know that Paul saw that look (as I believe all salespeople are trained too) and he asked if I would care to drive one. Well of course I would have loved to have one but I figured that my credit or the price would deny me one, but I said what the heck. After a nice outing getting a feel of the Ram we came back. Paul asked if he could look into getting me into one and he worked numbers and found deals that would ensure that I lost negative equity that I had in the Challenger and that the price was not much more than my car was. At no time did he pressure or steer me wrong. When I thought that I had a question that could not be answered he found or had the information I needed to make a decision whether I could and should get into the truck. I decided to go ahead and get the truck and the process was quick and painless. When I came back with my other key for the car Lee Brown gave me better news in the form of a lower payment than I was quoted the first time. That really put a smile on my face! This was not the first time I have purchased from Hendrick of Concord and this truck would be my third vehicle from Hendrick and they continue to treat me as family. As a Veteran of the U.S. Navy I am proud that this dealership respects and supports the military which means a lot to me because the fact most services forget Veterans until certain holidays or tragedies occur then its Remember the Veterans and Military personnel. I will most definitely recommend this dealership and its entire staff to anyone who is shopping for a new or used car and those who are looking for just an excellent service department! Paul Boyd is an exceptional Salesman and very knowledgeable individual that takes the time to ensure that a fellow person is doing the best that they can be without pressure or cohesion to but a new vehicle like some of the other dealerships I have looked into. I stopped in Hendricks of Concord to see what they had for used Jeep's . I was just window shopping on my day off and had intensions of going to a few dealer ships to look around. I was meet by Jorgen I explained I was just window shopping due to I had a plan and I was planning to try to purchase something till July. Jorgen showed me new and used jeep's we discussed features and price . I thought we seen all they had for jeep's he explained he had one more he might be able to show me . Jorgen showed me the last one I looked at . We test drove it and I really liked it . I explained again that I couldn't get approved or afford such a beautiful jeep as I have a budget set for what I can spend. Jorgen asked me if they could meet all my requirement that I have at this time would I buy it today . I laughed and said sure knowing that they couldn't possibly do it . I even explained how a dealer tried a month earlier to no avail to get me approved. Jorgen wrote it up and the whole time he kept telling me that they do everything that they could to meet all my requirements . While we waited Jorgen got me drinks even offered to get me snacks from the vending machine. I have worked in retail business for almost 30yrs now and Jorgen was very friendly and professional the whole time he was working with me. Jorgen kept giving me hope that I was going to get approved . I was going to give up and tell them 2 or 3 times thank you for trying, but Jorgen kept reassuring me that they ( Mark ) in financing was doing all he could for me . I'm on my second Dodge Challenger RT in the last year and half. The first one was a purchase handled by Paul. They did not have the car I wanted on the lot when I went in to look, but Paul was able to find it at another dealership and arrange a transfer. The only thing I didn't like about that car was the payment. I went back to Paul a couple weeks ago to discuss options for lowering my payments. I was able to trade in my 2013 Challenger for a 2014 Challenger with more equipment for less money. The 2014 is a lease (my first lease experience), but I feel like Paul explained everything to me and helped me understand that it really was a good deal.

We drove on down from Salisbury to Concord to just look and price out a Jeep. We weren't necessarily looking to purchase until 3 months later but they gave us such a good deal we went for it. We got more than what we thought we needed for the price we wanted. They even threw in slusher mats and a great discount on the extended warranty/service. Lee Wells was excellent to work with. Very informative and very patient. He took me out on multiple test drives as I was trying to decide between the six cylinder and the eight cylinder Chrysler 300. The back-and-forth negotiating the deal was kept to a minimum which I fully appreciated given the fact that I was buying a car in between my son's tournament basketball games. I didn't even have the car that I was trading in with me. Lee offered to drive my new vehicle (50 minutes away, over an hour and a half round trip) to my residence and drive my trade back to the dealership. How's that for customer service! In the end, I got a great deal on a great car that I love. I would highly recommend Hendrick Chrysler Jeep and specifically Lee Wells.

Well it has been a month now and I'm still getting letters from all kinds of banks. Also waited a month to transfer my tag .. So I went to this dealership with a trade in that I knew was going to be tough to trade in and I just wanted some information. One dealer said "I promise I can make this deal work. there is no need to wait a few months. We have discounts and I need used cars. Come in" I scheduled an appointment the next day and drove 35 minutes straight from work. As soon as I walk through the door my sales guy pawns me off to another dealer because he was "dealing with another customer" (ok what is the point of scheduling appointments) but assured me that this new dealer knew everything bout my situation. So I sit down with this new guy (who doesn't bother to tell me his name) and proceeds to tell me he doesn't know what I am trading in or what I ma looking for. He then suggests a car that he shows me the keys to (doesn't bother to even show me what the car looks like) and wants my credit info. I told him "I don't want my credit ran if this deal can not work. I explained everything to you and if this car can work then please don't bother running it" He said: I am sure we can make this deal work. Cut to less then 10 minutes later he comes back and says "Sorry this deal is a no go." So I was lied to by 2 sales reps. I wasn't even allowed to see the car. Wasn't asked if I could put money down or cosigner. and then had my credit score hit. I felt embarrassed and insulted. I don't like to use the word "never" but I will NEVER step a foot in this dealership again

Paul's easy going personality and style made him easy to talk to about the details of the Jeep and the price. I drove 30 minutes to check them out and was I ever impressed. I dealt with a number of the Hendrick team and at every stop along the way I was treated with professionalism and enthusiasm. Never was I pressured and buying my Jeep was as much fun as you can have buying a car. Joe Owens, Victor, Sam and Mike were all top shelf guys whom I would recommend to any friend or family member. In July I came by the dealership just to look around. My car had been totaled and I needed another car fairly quickly. Preston was the first person to greet me. He was outgoing and friendly. Since I did not know what I was really looking for, Preston found me a car that he thought I would like and he was right. I was so impressed! Preston was off the next time I came by to look at car again. Sam jumped in and did a great job. Our daughter found a jeep that seemed to be a good deal on cars.com. When we realized it was in Concord, we went to check it out. Our salesman, John, said to her "So you can drive a manual?" She replied, "What's a manual?" We all laughed because she had just received her license four days earlier! John helped us see that she could learn to drive a stick shift and was a pleasure to work with. Then Victor even came through in the end. She is enjoying learning to drive a"manual" and her brothers and sister want her to teach them!

Stopped by this dealership looking for a new Chrysler T & C. Saw one on their lot that I like and negotiated a deal for it. This was around 5:00 pm on Friday, Aug. 2, 2013. I told them that I needed to go home and discuss this with my wife. I would let them know for sure the next morning at 9:00 AM. We decided to get the car, and I called the next morning (Saturday) at 9:00 AM Paul Boyd said it was still available and I told him we would take it. He said OK. We drove 23 miles from my home to the dealership. When we got there, after an extensive wait, Paul Boyd came out and told us that the vehicle we had chosen was sold. Needless to say, I was furious! We left the dealership disappointed. Then next Tuesday, Paul Boyd called me and said they had the same vehicle, but in another color. I had wanted a red one, but this one was Steel metallic. I told him, we would take a look at it if he could hold it and not let the "little ole lady from Pasadena" buy it before we could get there, We leased the vehicle (maybe I should not have) but I still wanted the red one and was given no logical reason why we couldn't. To this day it is shown as an available vehcle on their website (Aug. 19, 2013) I know for sure because of the VIN number. Anyway, I will NEVER buy from this dealership again.

On behalf of my company, Orange Bakery, Inc., I searched the Hendricks company website for a vehicle. After contacting the branch I was informed that the vehicle I had seen was unavailable and was offered another option, one that was more than $4,000 than what I initially searched for. The sales associate that I spoke with was professional and very helpful. My director made an appointment for the following Saturday of that week to view and test drive the the vehicle. He, my director, was told to write a check, that was not to be cashed, to hold the vehicle until a complete payment was made - the vehicle was to paid in full out right. The following business day a full payment was made and we were told the vehicle would be ready for pick-up on Thursday of that week. We were contacted and told that the vehicle would not be ready until Saturday. We were also told that Monday that the check for my director would be available for pick-up when we picked up the vehicle on Thursday. We were fine with the vehicle not being ready for pick-up later. I and and associate were sent to retrieve the vehicle and the check. Once we arrived we were greeted by Jeff. We explained to him that we had been working with Derrick and he informed us he was off for the day. He told us he would locate the keys to our vehicle. He brought us back a book with a key and we proceeded to explain we were also there to pick-up a check. He then copped an attitude, which was completely unnecessary. Another gentleman, Gerald, came up to us while Jeff, obviously feeling inconvenienced, went to inquire about the check. Gerald was very nice and welcoming. He asked if we needed anything and gave us a place to sit while we waited on Jeff to return. It was then that we noticed Jeff had given us the wrong key and owners manual. After coming back Jeff was rude and explained to us that he didn't know where the check was and could not get in contact with Derrick. He then explained how he couldn't find the spare key to the vehicle and explained he would go pump us some gas - very unprofessional. Gerald explained to us that we could speak to the finance associate you had on duty. We finally were able to speak to him, but Jeff intervened and explained how he already explained the situation to us. We waited for a total at your facility for a total of 2.5 hours before we got to a resolution. Your associate Jacob was very helpful and arranged it so we could pick up the check at your sister location. If Gerald or Jacob had been our first point of contact I believe our experience would have been a more positive one. Your associate Jeff, is unprofessional, rude and just plain disrespectful.

I bought a pre-owned Toyotta Corrolla 2010 on June 15, worked with Mark Breeden and then Mike Castelli. Overall it took more than 3 hours. I did not expect to find a Toytta at this dealer but was presently surpsided to find one in very good condition for a reasonable price.We negotiated down $1,495 for the price of vehicle. Mark was very friendly and pleasant to work with.I had a plastic cover for passenger seat belt popped out of place and when I pointed it out, they gave me a "We owe" certificate to come back later to get it fixed.When I got home and inspected the car thorougly I noticed a right back speaker was not working and the driver's window seal was torn.I got a email from Mark monday morning checking with be about my experience with this dealership and I replied with the things I noticed are wrong. He advised me to call and schedule and appointment so service people can take a look and order the parts needed to replace those thigns.Yesterday I went there for my appointment and it took 1hr 40 mins and all the parts were replaced for me for free.I really like my new car, and will recommend this dealership to everyone.Thanks again,Viktoriya Rumyantseva

If you like being called a liar to your face about how much you paid for your vehicle new (was thinking about trading in) and saying that that particular car sells brand new for $3,000 less, then by all accounts deal with Mark. Whenever I told him that I paid $19,000 for my vehicle, he shook his head and said, " They sell for $15-16,000 brand new all the time" and that "Maybe if you add $2,000..." whenever I mentioned that. He said that I had the window sticker in my glovebox (didn't know that I consented to them searching my vehicle and going through all my my paperwork in the glovebox, and even then they must've went dyslexic because it did NOT say $15,000 ) and I told him I know for a fact what I paid for my vehicle, but he still had a smug attitude and shook his head. So I asked for my keys back because I was going to leave and while waiting 10-15 minutes, I was greeted by Victor Rizk. I do have to say that Victor was super friendly and might possibly salvage this potential sale. I went from making a deal today to possibly passing and going somewhere else!

I must say we were very impressed with Preston's attitude and understanding. My husband had visited the dealership alone first and had looked at a couple of vehicles. Since I am to be the primary driver of course he wanted me to be satisfied with the purchase so no decisions were made immediately. My husband brought me to the dealership after I had gotten off of work. I was very tired and the weather very rainy so I wasn't exactly in the mood to "make a deal". Preston was extremely understanding and did not make me feel hurried. We returned the next day and after some conversation with Preston decided to purchase. He was very knowledgable of the vehicle and pointed out several features that I had not noticed. I went online to search for the vehicle I was looking for though my insurance assisted car buying service and was emailed automatically by a few of the dealerships in the area. Rob emailed me personally and was the only one to actually call me expressing interest in my wife and I just looking at the Grand Caravan. We looked at a few models and decided to test drive to see what my wife and I thought of the handling. Never once did the price come up until we sat down and discussed if we wanted to look into purchasing. Rob was up front with me on the costs and worked with me in a way that I felt comfortable in the negotiation. A side note about him is that he was extremely friendly to my 2 year old who was comfortable enough to talk to him, showing his toy car and trains, in fact the whole staff at Hendrick was kind and understanding with my family even though we were there late and my son was on the verge of breakdown. I would definitely purchase a car from this dealership again and have already recommended it to my family.

The staff at Hendrick was beyond subpar. We were pressured by our salesman into trying to buy something we did NOT like. When we did make a decision on something, they did not listen to our requests as far as price and payments which were beyond resonable. They sent our credit to 9 banks and for each of those our credit took a hit. During the process they appraised our car and kept our keys locked in the office so that we could not leave at our own free will. It was not until we got angry with them about the keys that they finally gave them back and we then promptly left. Terrible experience, glad we did not buy from them and I will NEVER go back! Lake Norman chrystler jeep dodge and ram is where its at!!!

This is WHY I gave you a very bad rating.Complaint #1 - Date of Service , March 3, 2013I brought my 02 Jeep Wrangler in for a oil and filter change. The service advisor ( Dumbaugh ) said that from my last visit it shows that I had a rear pinion seal leaking oil. Do I want to have it fixed today? He also said that inspection was due in about three months, do I want to go ahead and get it inspected? I told him that I didn't think the pinion gear was leaking oil that I park the Jeep on cement and I have never seen oil on the cement. I also told him no for the inspection. Who going to go ahead and get a inspection when you have three months before it is due? After service work was complete Dumbaugh said that the pinion seal was still leaking oil bit didn't need to be taken care of at this time and my paper work said that I had oil leaks. The only oil leaks that I had was from where the oil and filter was changed and they didn't attempt to clean up the oil that had run down the side of the block when they took off the filter. They also didn't attempt to clean the oil that had run around the oil pan while draining the oil. I had to clean this mess up when I got home. I also checked the pinion seal and it was not leaking, no sign of oil around the seal. Cost to replace pinion seal, $137.00. Why are you trying to rip me off for a pinion seal when it don't need replacing?Complaint #2 - Date of Service, March 6, 2013Brought my 06 Jeep Cherokee in for a front end alignment. After about an hour the service advisor (Sciranko) came to me and said that a bolt was broken on the lower control arm. He took me back in the garage area and showed it to me. I asked who broke it, and he said the guy doing the alignment . Well, since your guy broke it , it should be fixed at no cost to me. He said that the lower control arm would have to be replaced in order to fix it and I would have to pay for it because they couldn't help that they broke the bolt. He said that it would cost $ 579.95 to replace and install control arm. I took the Jeep home and took out the broken bolt in about 30 minutes. I came to the dealership and bought a replacement bolt for the control arm, less than five bucks. Two days later I brought Jeep back to the dealership and had the front end aligned.My problem is when you break something you should fix it at no cost to the customer. The second problem is , if the tech knew what he was doing , he could have taken the broken bolt out. The bolt went straight thru the control arm with a nut on top. All he had to do was put a wrench on the nut and loosen it. I still can't believe that they were going to charge me $579.95 for a lower control arm when all it needed was a new bolt. Another way to rip somebody off. WHAT HAPPENED TO QUILITY CUSTOMER SERVICE ?If I have to check behind you every time that I come in for service work, I don't need you. I especially don't like the idea that you want to change parts that don't need changing and you think the customer should be responsible for what you break. Another thing, if I going to be charged for shop supplies, by all means use them to clean up the mess you make. What I want is for you to take my name, phone number, address and any other information that you have on me off your system. I will never do business with Hendricks Jeep again.If you are told by the dealer that you need repairs and it is going to be costly, please check it yourself or go somewhere else and get a second opinion.It may save you hundreds of dollars , like it saved me.

Recently purchased a new town and Country from Hendrick Chrysler. The experience was excellent overall, from my inital visit through my return visit to make the purchase. I worked with Paul and Derek on the sales side, and both were very knowledgeable, courteous, and respectful. They both worked quickly to meet my parameters for a fair deal on the price of the car as well. After the deal was agreed upon, I worked with Mike on the financing side. Once again, another very friendly and knowledgeable person to deal with. Explained the service contracts and insurance that they offered without being pushy about any of them. Was also very quick and detailed with his paperwork. Once the financing was complete, the car was waiting for me outside the dealership, already cleaned up with my license plate transferred over.The dealership itself is very nice, clean, and modern as well. Over all, an excellent place to purchase a car!

We first contacted Alan after seeing a truck we were interested in on-line. We wanted to be sure the vehicle was still on the lot before we took a one hour trip to Concord. Alan checked on the computer but said he wanted to actually go out on the lot and physically make sure it was still there. He immediately called us back and told us to come on because it was there. When we arrived, he had the truck pulled up to the front of the building, and we were immediately in love with this truck. Alan took us for a test ride and took care of reaching an agreeable price by working with Mark Wright, the finance manager. Alan was very personable but at the same time very professional. Mark then took over, and even though we were not financing, he took a considerable amount of time to discuss warranties and complete all paperwork. He also was very knowledgeable and informative, and we left the dealership feeling that we got a very fair deal and excellent service. We would definitely purchase another vehicle from this dealership.

I have a 2012 Jeep Wrangler which I scheduled one (1) week in advance a service appointment for my normal oil change and a tire rotation. I also asked for help with a water leak on the drivers side only. I had noticed water standing under the floor mat water and vacuumed it out with a wet dry vac prior to my appointment. Your service found a Tech Advisor on the issue and installed new Front Door Weather strip, tested with water and found the problem was resolved. The total time in service was approximately 2 1/2 hours. My issue is that the car was returned to me with standing water in the floor board on the drivers side. No attempt was made to vacuum out the water or dry the carpet. I was told I would have to bring it back and they would remove the carpet and dry it which does not make common since, the mold and mildew would just sit there till my return. I feel the job was half done and since I purchased the car new at this dealership I would think some attempt would have been made to at least dry the interior. I had to drive home and finish the job myself. It seemed by my conversation with the service writer that nothing could have been done but I think it was just poor service and since this is a newer car with an admitted issue that some care would have been performed to return the car to me with work completed, I asked that some attempt be made to dry interior at the time of my initial interview. Just make sure you get what you asked for and that they finish the job!

Lee seemed very forthcoming with information to help us land on a price for both vehicles. Alan was a joy to do test drives with, and was supportive of the vehicles we chose. At no point did we feel that this was the typical sales process that you would normally find at a dealership. We were not pressured in any way and at no time to make a purchase. Natlie helped us narrow down what we were looking by going over all the options in detail, made sure that we were happy with the options we selected, and even spent time with us searching online inventories. She also on several occasions stayed late after closing hours to accommodate our working schedule.Victor the sales manager was able to make the experience even better by getting us additional discounts above and beyond the manufactures rebates.Even the finance dept was great, Mark did exactly what he said he could, he got us a better finance rate than our bank could and worked with us late into the night to finalize our transaction. He made sure we understood all of our paperwork as well all post sales options for service and vehicle protection.

I feel like I stole it I have found my dealership for life and my car dealer. After having a horrible experience with a Hendrick Dealership (Toyota of Concord), I was hesitant to go to another Hendrick Dealership. Hnedrick Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Concord had a used vehicle that I was interested in and I decided to just check and see about it. Needless to say I did purchase the vehicle and had an excellent experience. The salesman was new to the business, but was as personal as any I've had before. I told them what I was willing to do and they met me there in a short amount of time. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. They re-established my trust in Hendrick Dealerships.

We went to purchase a mini van knowing full well that we have very bad credit,very little money to put down, and still owed a lot on the car we wanted to trade in. After looking at the vans we decided to try and fully expected to get a no as soon as they ran the credit reports. Instead of saying no they took the time to search the data base for what we wanted in a price we were willing to pay and then said lets try it. After submitting to all of the lenders and getting turned down they finally got one willing to tell them how much they would lend us. When they told us that we could not get the van without a lot more down they didnt just say good bye instead they told us what we could get. At first we simply said no and they said ok. There was no pressure to go with the other options they let us make that decision. We did decide to go with the option of a car that had more space than our current car. And so they continued to help us and even through in some tinted windows for us to keep the sun out of the kids eyes. We had a great experience and would go back for our next vehicle purchase. These folks are willing to keep trying so that you leave happy not frustrated.

I called the dealership to schedule an appointment to test drive a 2009 Jeep Wrangler I found on line. The sales rep, Cory Lyle, set the appointment, sent an email, then called me again on the morning of the appointment, which was nice. I was greeted by name when I walked in and felt comfortable right away. Cory showed me the Jeep I had inquired about, however, it wasn't what I wanted. I ended up test driving 2 different 2012 Jeep Wranglers - both with the features I requested. I chose the red Jeep with the soft-top. Truly a dream vehicle! The financing, however, was not a dream. It was a very SLOW process. After 5 hours and receiving a disappointing finance offer from the dealership's preferred lender, I went to my credit union, got the rate I wanted and bought the Jeep. Other than that, I really liked this dealership. Everyone at Hendrick CDJR was exceptionally nice and professional. I felt no pressure to buy and Cory wasn't pushy like most car sales staff I've worked with in the past. In addition, I felt the trade-in value for my 99 Jeep Wrangler was very fair. Even though I hadn't exactly planned on buying a NEW Jeep, I'm so happy I did!

I took my Chrysler van in for an initial power steering hose replacement. It was replaced although several days later I started to notice a fluid stain in my driveway which progressively got worse. I took my van back in to this dealership thinking it was a brake problem only to find out the serviceman did not tighten the end of the hose he replaced. This took all day waiting to hear what the problem was. The service dept did state to me that the serviceman forgot to tighten the hose end. However, when I got the van home I started to notice the power steering was getting noisy. I checked the power steering reservoir only to find it completely empty. Okay they tightened the hose, but do I have to hold their hand to get them to fill the reservoir back up with fluid too. Come on guys ! What monkey with a wrench did you people hire or is this typical of the service quality you offer ?SignedNever touch my vehicle again !

I recently got a used car from this dealership. One of the floor mats was missing. They didn't inform me about that. After I finished the paperwork, I noticed that the floor mat on passenger side was missing. When I showed that to the sales agent, he promised that they will send me a new set by mail. I tried contacting them by email and phone many times, but didn't get any response to my email or voice messages. It is extremely difficult to contact them by any means. Finally after a month they said that they couldn't send one. I would have been happier if they said that they can't send the floor mat straightaway. It would have saved me lot of time and unnecessary calls. I am disappointed that they didn't inform me before buying the car, made false promise after I brought it to their notice, and not responding to my calls or emails. I would not recommend this dealer if you are looking for honesty and good service.

I went to the dealership to try to purchase the listed vehicle but never even saw the jeep! They tried to finance me for a more expensive, smaller, but newer vehicle. I felt a little mislead because if used vehicles are so hard to finance then why list then. Is this a tactic used to lure customers into the dealership? The staff was wonderful and extremely pleasant.

My thoughts about Lee Brown and Michael Castelli:Let me start by saying I used to sell cars and have seen all the tricks and pressure that gets put on the customer during the negotiating and purchase process. My observations of these tactics by others disgusted me, which is why I left that industry and it's why I expected the same callousness toward me on my new car purchase.I couldn't have been more wrong!From the start, Lee Brown was relaxed and thoughtful, answered all my questions, let me test drive numerous times and sort of stayed in the background; close enough to answer any questions, yet gave me plenty of breathing room so I could "marinate" and think about what would be best for me.I felt Mr. Brown was fair and honest. No salesman games or gimmicks. Absolutely NO PRESSURE was applied to me during this process. Then it was time to go to Financing and Insurance (F&I) and speak with Michael Castelli. From my previous experience in dealerships, I know THIS portion of the purchase process is really where a customer can get taken advantage of by the finance people trying to add a bunch of superfluous add-ons (some are valid, but many items are ways to generate larger commissions). So I braced myself, waiting for the barrage of all the things I would be asked to add on to the deal.Once again, I couldn't have been more wrong!Mr. Castelli was great; friendly and efficient - he instantly made me feel comfortable. He took care of all the required paperwork very quickly and asked if I'd like to hear about extended warranties. When I indicated "no", he moved on and wrapped up the paperwork and I left to get my new Jeep. I was truly stunned by this, as I've never seen an F&I person really listen to and respect the customer. They typically come at you from another angle until they wear you down. Something of note - both Mr. Brown and Mr. Castelli are quick to respond to follow up emails and calls. Their great customer service doesn't end when you leave the car lot, and that makes such a difference to me!I came away from this experience feeling that I had the rare experience of dealing with two men of integrity on this purchase. However, from what I can tell from the reviews of this dealership, my experience at Hendrick of Concord isn't rare at all. It looks like every customer benefits from this higher-level way of doing business. I will most certainly work with Mr. Brown and Mr. Castelli on my next deal and will highly recommend them. -- I also want to add a big Thank You to Linda. She called to make sure I was happy with the purchasing process and to see if I had any questions. She was a huge help, making sure an important document I sent was put in the right hands. Linda truly went the extra mile.

We bought a brand new Town and Country. We had an extremely easy experience. We were in and out in a few short hours with our new car. The entire staff was friendly and helpful especially with my three children. We would definitely buy another car from Hendrick Chrystler Dodge Jeep Ram of Concord. After having bought at least a dozen vehicles over the last 30 years,this was easily the most gracious and most satisfying experience yet. The Hendrick reputation is very well deserved from the sales manager Leland, to my empathic sales associate, Cory Lyle,to the finance manager Bill Yeatts. Each was genuinely interested in seeing that the process go as smoothly and as amiably as possible, and you could tell, and they did it quickly. When I was concerned about the color, from the indoor showroom lights, these guys actually insisted on moving the vehicle outside, so that I could be certain. "Unbelievable"At least I now completely understand what true professionalism is in the auto dealing industry.
