My experience at Herb Chambers has been professional, pleasant and helpful each time I have been there! The sales person and his mentor were very pleasant and professional. The finance person was personable and professional. The only problem I have had with both the leases I have had with Hyundai is that when I picked up the 2013 Elantra from RT 1 Hyundai, Leominster, someone had spilled a pack of fresh pipe tobacco inside the front passenger door well. When I took possession of my 2017 Elantra, there was an orange stain/hand print on the inside driver door handrest, and sticky glue along the silver trim on the inside of the left rear passenger door.

Very unsatisfying lease experience, I travelled over a 150 miles from Connecticut to lease a specifically equipped Hyundai Genesis that they had in stock and were unwilling to swap with a dealer local to me. I had done my research , knew what a fair good price and terms should be and when I dealt with them my first and lasting impression was that they felt that they were doing me a favor by leasing me the car, which was not the attitude I would have expected of a professional customer service based organization. The sales group told me I should be "thrilled" and grateful for the wonderful deal they gave me , when I told them I could get the same deal at two other dealers who unfortunately did not have the car my wife wanted they had no particular response. At the time of signing the original agreement I told them I wanted the trunk emblem changed which the salesman told me would be no problem at all. When my wife returned to sign the final financial paper no problem became $500 and VERY complicated with high risk of damage to the paint they subsequently decreased the cost to $250 and I am now having it done by my local dealer for $85 and they said I could have the car back in a hour. There financial department is less than competent, my wife needed to take a morning off from work to meet them to register the car the first problem was that they didn't have a check to pay for the registration and couldn't come til the afternoon . Then when they arrived they realized no one signed the title, so my wife and the salesman had to go to the bank and have a proxy form notarized, causing her to have to lose a day of work for something that should have only taken a few hours and again they made my wife feel like they were doing he a favor by doing it. If they didn't want to sell a car to someone who resided in that part of Connecticut they should have just said so , I would have much preferred that to their attitude . But in that case they would have lost the sale which was unacceptable. I will not recommend this dealer to anyone in the future

The lease process was easy and I have a cheaper payment than my 2013! I leased a 2013 Sonata for my mother-in-law. At the end of the lease we went over all options, including other manufactures. Ultimately, the new restyled Sonata won her over so I resigned a new 2016 Sonata for her. This time she got to pick the color she wanted (Red!!).

I called to schedule my car for service. An employee gave me a specific time. I arrived at the dealership and they informed me they could not keep my scheduled appointment. Rescheduled my appointment for my car to be detailed the next Saturday morning. They would not give me a time frame and claimed that today they did not have valet. They expected me to wait 8 hours at the dealership. They were very unpleasant and staff not properly trained. They are inconsiderate of their customers. General manager never on site and never responded to my complaint. They never even serviced my car.

Today was a good day. I was able to drive away in a 2012 Sonata with low miles and in great shape, that I got at a great price. The problem is that I drove it away on June 22nd, but I bought the car on March 31st. The reason that I could not drive my car away was because this dealership did not have the title when they sold me the vehicle. Which was not communicated to me at the time the deal was signed. I traded in a vehicle, but did not have the title as well. However, the salesman at the time, James, told me once I got my title wed be all set. April 11th I received my title and took it up to the dealership. James no longer worked for the company, so another person handed over the keys to the Sonata, but it did not have an inspection, registration, or working key fob. Why? Because they did not have the title for the car I bought. Another salesman, who gave me the car and took my trade, said they would have the title in a few days and I could bring it back. After I left, I realized I left a medallion in the Accent, and called that same day to ask someone to get it out and put it aside for me. The person I spoke to said they would get it right out (and I described exactly where it would be) and put it away for when I come back. Also, I should mention that the car they gave me without a registration or inspection sticker had a tail light out (which my friend pointed out later that day). I didnt make a big deal about it, and went a picked up a new bulb, but they were clearly not ready to give me the car, so why did they? A week later, I called and spoke a manager, who offered to set me up with a rental while they square away the title on the car I bought.So I went up to the dealership and spoke with the manager, who gave me the keys to a loaner. I asked about the medallion, since the person I gave the trade to wasnt available, and the manager assured me he would find out from the person who was supposed to have it. It turned out to be a mistake for me to trust they actually looked for it, because a few weeks later I would find out they never recovered it (but well get to that).Weeks go by and I do not hear a single word. I call a few times, leave a few messages, but never hear anything back. I email and finally get a response, in which Im told they are still waiting on original documents from the bank. But apparently they tried to send the RMV a copy, which the RMV would not accept. That just raised more questions: Does a major dealership not know the RMV would want original documents? Did they really push for the original documents from the bank earlier? I cannot answer those questions, because it was really hard to get any information from anyone about what was going on.Naturally, as the calendar turned to June, I became more and more frustrated. I called to complain, but was essentially brushed away with, well, we set you up with a rental and thats costing us so much money a day. As a customer, I do not care what your screw up is costing you. I did some research, and found out that someone in a similar situation filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and received some compensation. I did not want to go that route, so I communicated via email how I would envision the situation resolved. That email was apparently ignored. Maybe I should have filed as well. When I picked up the car today I dealt with yet another person (this is now the 4th person Ive had to deal with). To his credit, the individual I worked with today was very apologetic to the situation and worked to make sure I left with everything taken care of. I appreciated the interaction, and I still love the car I bought. But this situation was a mess from day one. Even the individuals I worked with at the dealership said how, this was a bad situation and they would not have sold the car if they knew it would take this long. And a lot of references to how much money they lost on the rental car I was given to drive. I dont know if Im supposed to feel empathy for them and their loss, but I dont. Dont make a deal you arent ready to deliver on.

From the first interaction with everyone at this dealership, I was impressed with the professionalism, high level of customer service, and friendliness of everyone here. I first inquired about a new 2016 Hyundai Elantra that was listed on the website, and set up an appointment to see it the following weekend. Adam, the Sales Manager, discovered that it was no longer available, searched for and located the exact same vehicle in Maine, and arranged to have it brought down. During my time at the dealership, I never felt pressured to purchase the vehicle. Josh, the salesperson, was friendly and pleasant and wanted to make sure that I was getting a vehicle that I truly wanted. When it came time to work out the financing, everything was on the "up-and-up" - no hidden fees, the doc fee was reasonable, and the price matched what Adam had quoted me over the phone. Gene, in the Finance Department, was great about explaining the different add-ons but not pressuring me to purchase any of them. Charlie, the Used Car Sales Manager, offered me a fair price for my trade-in. Overall, this was a very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend this dealership!

About a month ago, I came into this dealership, as a first time buyer, looking a used car. Shannon showed me a 2013 Hyundai Elantra and I loved the car! However, there was a dent above the wheel due to an accident during transportation to the dealership. Shannon sent it to the body shop to fix the dent. Barely any communication regarding my car for almost 3 weeks. Any communication at all was me calling checking up on my car. I had to return to the dealership to resign paperwork so that Shannon could register the car. (Car should have been registered before it even went to the shop). Anyway, when I spoke to Shannon as I was resigning paperwork, he told me my car would be all set Monday by the time the work day was over. I asked him to call me just so I didn't have to waste gas to leave disappointed. Shannon never called. I called the dealership asking for Shannon and they had said they could not find him, so I left him a message. After waiting an hour, I called back and spoke to the manager, Charlie. Charlie said he would personally take the time to figure out what was going on with my car. Within 20 minutes, James Alexander called me back telling me I was all set and that I could come by and pick up my car. My boyfriend and I are got to the dealership and James handed me my keys. When we got in the car we realized that the car wasn't detailed, the previous owners belongings were still in the car and the stickers from the dealership were still on the car. I didn't even see my registration. We went back into the dealership to let James know that the condition of the vehicle was disappointing. He immediately asked one of his detailing guys to take care of my car. The next day, James was in total communication with me about my car and showing me how much he cared about getting my car to me ASAP. By Wednesday, my car was all ready to go. I later found out my car was never even registered or insured the Monday when I originally went to pick up my car. I was so upset and disappointed i just wanted to say forget the whole thing. James Alexander saved this sale big time! I am so grateful for his help and his customer service was exceptional. He is definitely a person who shows they truly do care about the customer and customer service. I would recommend anyone looking for a car to go see James!

My family and I recently bought 2 new cars at this dealership from James Alexander. I will start off with I often dread buying a car. I always feel like i am going to get scammed by some shady guy looking to make a buck. Well this time i was proved wrong, there is a nice car salesman out there. James in all honesty went above and beyond in all situations and actually talked to you like a consumer. He finally figured out that if you don't care if you make a sale and treat people like people they will actually build rapport with you.But what was more important was how nice and understanding he was to my wife, while neither of us are car people he took the time to explain things in layman's terms so she didn't feel out of place and could take part in our pick of vehicles.After we signed on the dotted lines he still stayed in close contact texting us and letting us know what the status was with approvals and forms from our insurance company. I must have talked to him 5 times the following morning while we straightened out errors the insurance company made. It was little things like this that made us feel comfortable with James. Also after we picked up our cars he let us leave our lease on the lot while we got some hail damage straightened out with our insurance company. Normally I would not leave my car at a dealership nor consider having the body work done there but after getting the insurance appointment i decided to have the work done there since James was such a decent guy, I figured why not give the dealership more business since James treated us so well.James also knew Apple Carplay was important to me so he has been keeping me up to date on when it will be available in my car. It looks like it will be in the next month or so and James is the type of person who actually cares enough to follow up. Now i know many of you are reading this and saying this is a load of garbage, but to explain my background I am one of the highest rated reviewers on Amazon in the world and I have had experiences ranging from extremely pleasant to rage educing and out of all my purchases and product reviews the service I received from James nears the top of my list.

But what was more important was how nice and understanding he was to my wife, while neither of us are car people he took the time to explain things in layman's terms so she didn't feel out of place and could take part in our pick of vehicles. After we signed on the dotted lines he still stayed in close contact texting us and letting us know what the status was with approvals and forms from our insurance company. I must have talked to him 5 times the following morning while we straightened out errors the insurance company made. It was little things like this that made us feel comfortable with James. Also after we picked up our cars he let us leave our lease on the lot while we got some hail damage straightened out with our insurance company. Normally I would not leave my car at a dealership nor consider having the body work done there but after getting the insurance appointment i decided to have the work done there since James was such a decent guy, I figured why not give the dealership more business since James treated us so well. James also knew Apple Carplay was important to me so he has been keeping me up to date on when it will be available in my car. It looks like it will be in the next month or so and James is the type of person who actually cares enough to follow up. Now i know many of you are reading this and saying this is a load of garbage, but to explain my background I am one of the highest rated reviewers on Amazon in the world and I have had experiences ranging from extremely pleasant to rage educing and out of all my purchases and product reviews the service I received from James nears the top of my list.

After dealing with Samuel Ukpo, I made a verbal 'agreement' with Adam Christensen, Sales Mgr with the final price IF he included a new spare tire which he said was about $300. I noticed that the spare was rusty when Sam put it in the trunk, without examining it closer as I should've. After all, Sam had said that that is how it comes! When I got it home I noticed that the tire rim was not only badly rusted but very badly bent and told by auto mechanics that it would not hold air. Showing my new car to people and then having them gasp in horror at this tire was really embarrassing and a good indication of the salesmanship of Herb Chambers Dealership in Westborough. I called Adam Christensen and told him that I wanted a NEW spare tire as we had agreed on for my NEW car. He told me that it was not in writing and that he would 'look' at the tire and see about it but that in no way was I to get a NEW spare tire. He said that he and I had agreed on a spare tire taken from another car. Do you think I would agree to a used rusty spare tire for my brand new car that I had paid top dollar for??!! "Bring in your paper work! Show me where it says that I included a NEW spare tire!" I told him that he should be giving it to me in Good Faith!! He hung up on me. I spoke with Rusty Clifford, Gen Mgr, He told me to bring the tire in and he would replace it with a new one, which he did. I then told him that I was very unhappy with all of the trips and lost time-especially from work, emotional trauma and financial loss and would like compensation- How about a deal on the all weather mats? He offered a big 10% off. I tried to make a reasonable deal with him- He continued to argue with me......(What ever happened to satisfying the customer?) He agreed to Deliver to my door the set of mats at about 20% off. He then grabbed a wrinkled up wad of a $10 bill and shoved it in my hand. How professional can ya get?!Needless to say, Sam called me when the mats where in telling me that Rusty Clifford had ordered the wrong mats by mistake- the cheaper ones of course. "He made a mistake" I said that at this point tell him that I wanted them for free! Never a call back from Sam or Rusty of course! So from the beginning.......I waited Several hours for the Finance Mgr. I was asked by Sam that IF I gave him an Excellent Report Card which I would get from Herb Chambers(I have not received it yet, but you can be sure I will track that thing down if I have to call Herb Chambers himself!!) in exchange he would have my car ready for me on Monday first thing in the morning so I could get to work! I agreed. So I check to see if my plates were cancelled- they were not. Per Sam he called and said they were.....in fact "Everything was ready except the sticker which was the longest wait for-and not his fault of course..." I finally go there hours later than agreed- as he said the car would be ready as promised. I found Sam listening to his latest sales pitch show on his computer. NOTHING was done on the car- not washed, no plates, no mats, no plastic covers on the floors, (dirt on the floor!), no sticker, no spare. Where's the NEW plates?? "You said you wanted the old ones put on" Nope I never said that-never in writing either. So Sam hops into my new 10 miles-in-it- car and RACES to the back to get the sticker, etc, etc....... Hey! Be Careful with my new engine and car! I was NOT shown how to use a thing in the car........The car was making rattling noises as we drove down Rte 9 while I test drove it once more..... That was because Rte 9 pavement made rattling noises of course..... I take it home and it was still making the noises. I was very uncomfortable and afraid of driving it. I take it back to the next Sales Mgr Carm Bonavita and told him I did not feel safe in the car- I wanted to take back my rental which was there to be picked up by the rental agency the next day- until I decided what to do as far as returning my New Lemon or not. He said the keys were gone. I found the keys in plain view on a desk- He told me that I was stealing- the rental belonged to him. I called the rental company positive that I could extend my rental-but could not reach them. He angrily yelled at me outside my car to give him 'HIS' keys. He had totally inappropriate rage and I was afraid to get out of the car! I rolled the window down a little and gave him the keys saying that I could not after all reach the rental co which had closed. Also before this...... He offered to give me an outrageously unreasonable offer to buy my new car back and purchase another one.I sincerely hope that my story helps someone out there to avoid any hassles. Why didn't I read the truthful negative reviews before?(I have pictures of that unsafe spare tire also if the management of this site would like to see them!)

I have purchased many cars over the past 40+ years and found our sales agent James to be one of the friendliest, helpful, and knowledgeable salespeople I have ever dealt with. He understood my requests and was able to show me the perfect vehicle for me. He didn't try to pressure me to buy more than I wanted and we quickly came to a final agreement. We immediately found a car that we loved both inside and out and the most stressful part of purchasing, the negotiation, was next. This was not the case with Michael. He made it easy and stress free. I came to Hyundai of Westborough intending to buy a 2014 elantra with only 11,000 miles on it. I got the idea courtesy of Angela Burdette who sent me an email about the 2015 sweep the cars out. The email had buttons for both new cars and used ones. She is the reason I came to Westborough. I was sent to Derrick who handled the sale. He was very patient with me and my wife. The 2014 car was gone. So we looked at other used cars. There were only two that I had a mild interest. He exerted absolutely no pressure on us. If he had, I would have probably walked. He did explain how with all the rebates it would have amounted to only three thousand or more to get a comparable equipped 2015 model. Well, it was a little more than that. He brought out a red 2015 elantra, limited model. My wife loved the color because it will be easy to find in a parking lot. I loved the extras in the car and am very happy with it. In sum, kudos to Derrick. He got us in the right car. Thanks also to Jean in finance who persuaded me that an extended warranty was a good idea. He dropped the interest rate on the loan far enough to make it work. Westborough is a great dealership.

Upon arrival I was greeted right away with a smile from Chelsea. She was so nice and right away went to the service department where they were able to fit me in for service. Where else could you go on Saturday and have your car serviced without an appointment, I was very impressed and happy. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted to spend and what kind of monthly payment I was looking for. My credit has taken a beating over the past several years from being out of work so I knew it would be a challenge but if anyone could get me approved at a decent rate it would be a Herb Chambers store.Back in the 90's I had bought two new vehicles from different Herb Chambers stores and have enjoyed all of the experiences. Times are different. Now I was looking for a used car. I told them what I was looking for, what I wanted to spend and what I wanted for payments. They said they could make it work. They gave me a few choices of cars to look at. I picked one and they made it work.The salesman Michael Lemoine was great. He was honest, upfront, no bs or wasting time... He got the job done! I have to add that this guy was so proud of his recent accomplishments. He had just come from a Salesman's breakfast meeting where he was presented with the MVP award for the highest number of sales the previous month. He was proud of working for Herb Chambers and it showed. It's a testament to how Herb Chambers treats his employees. When we are treated with respect by our employer and recognized for our contributions we are happier and that translates into happier customers. Michael worked hard through the entire buying experience and showed me why he won that award. Needless to say, I never went back to the first dealership I had walked out of.The Finance Manager Gene was a breath of fresh air. I was taken good care of by both of these guys and would recommend this dealership to anyone.

I visited Herb Chambers Hyundai of Westborough in July 2015. I walked in there already knowing which vehicle I wanted after having a test drive in it at a different dealership. I knew what I wanted to pay and what I wanted for my trade and I got both numbers, just like that. Kate was fabulous!! I was nervous walking in, a female by herself, but Kate put me right at ease, explained everything and got the answers to all of my questions. When I didn't understand something, she explained it so I would. They're very upfront with all the numbers, nothing is hidden at all. They didn't have the car I wanted on the lot but Eddie looked for one at another dealership while I sat there. They found one and picked it up for me, at no charge, the very next day. I would definitely recommend this particular dealership to friends and family.

Sam is an excellent salesman. He was honest right from the start, and we agreed on what I feel was a very fair deal. The negotiation process was quick and easy, he explained all the features I was not already aware of, and allowed me to take a test drive. The only negative part of this whole experience was the amount of time I waited to start the paperwork. From what I understand, the dealership was very understaffed after losing several employees. Once I started the paperwork, it was a very quick and easy process. After the insurance info came back, the delivery process was fairly quick, and Sam took time to sit with me and explain all of the different features of the car, which was in perfect condition.

I would like to thank Michael Lemoine for the great car buying experience I had at Herb Chambers Hyundai. I bought a pre owned 09 ford edge, which looked brand new, had low mileage, and only one owner. After having my previous vehicle was involved in an accident in which it was totalled, I was feeling rather anxious about buying another car as it usually comes with stresses of trying to work out a good deal. When I arrived on the day to look at the edge, Michael came right up to me and introduced himself. I told him I was there to look at this vehicle specifically and he got right to work getting the keys so we could go look at it. We did a walk around of the vehicle and sat inside of it, and took it for a test drive. I knew right away that I wanted it. The best part about the edge was the price. I had done my own research and found that the price they had it listed for was right in line with the value of it. I didn't have a deposit that day in the amount of what dealerships usually require, but Michael took into account what I was up against with losing my old car and wanted to help me anyway he could. He took the deposit I had available and held the vehicle for me, and then got right to working out the deal. Since the price was right where I wanted it there was no need for negotiating that. Now came into the deal, the credit application and finance. I explained what APR I was looking for and what my credit looked like. Within minutes of taking my information, Michael came back and said I think your going to be happy. I was thrilled! He showed me a deal that looked exactly the way I told him I wanted it to look. He got me a low interest rate, low monthly payment, and told me that when I came back at the end of the week with the rest of the LOW, and I mean LOW, total down payment for a vehicle like this, I could drive it off the lot!. Unfortunately my insurance company are the ones who slowed the whole process down for the rest of the weekend, But when I had keys in my hand the following Monday, this vehicle looked mint! The detailing guys took car of the little imperfections Michael had pointed out to me, and I was super satisfied with the result. Once again Michael Lemoine, thank you for making it possible to get back into a vehicle thats super slick, super clean, and super reliable at a great price!

Salesperson never informed me about the inspection not being ready due to lack of registration work completed on the day I was to have car inspected. Salesperson managed to pick up my vehicle finally - at work and have vehicle inspected but never handed over the registration. Every step of the way the customer service was poor; appointments ran late (waiting over an hour 2 times); salespeople seemed stressed out, unhappy and lacking knowledge about the car and online deal we came for. The worst part was the level of negotiation we had to go through re: installing hand controls so my husband can drive the car. I drove my sonata on 05/22/2015 for service (oil and filter) and reported a problem with the front brakes. Actually, the issue with the front brakes was reported for the first time on Feb 2015, the service replaced the rotors and pads at that time. I explained to the service adviser and Charles Sectish my concern about the brakes' pulsation and warp rotors for the second time within 17K miles. They listened me and promised to contact Hyundai and at the same time troubleshoot the front brakes right after I drop off my car for a couple days, and meanwhile they will loan me a car for free!I appreciate very much their attitude showing respect for the customer and willingness to solve the brakes issue and make me happy! I love the car, but the brakes issue is a concern that Mark and Charles are taking it seriously!Carlos

After two years of exceptional service I am not sure what happened. Last year when I pulled off my all season they noticed a bubble and the Michelin tire needed to be replaced. Anticipating the need to order one I called on a Saturday and spoke to a service manager and he said it would be ordered. The following Monday afternoon I called and confirmed the tire was in and set up an appointment for the next Saturday morning. When I arrived there was no appointment made, but they took me. After over an hour and 15 minutes the service rep tells me that although the three good tires were installed, the fourth was never ordered. He recommended keeping the three all seasons on and putting back one snow. Knowing that for anything but a very short run mixing tires was not a good idea, I asked that the snows be put back. After another 30 min told they could not get a replacement tire. Another 15 minutes I left after waiting just under two hours with my snows on. Ten days ago the Herb Chambers customer service call came and I related the story. I was informed someone would contact me to make things right. Ten days, no call. The best part is that I called Herb Connolly Hyundai and through the Hyundai system had the tire the next day. They gavee great service and their prices were lower that Herb Chambers.

I saw a car on Sunday, negotiated a deal on 'Monday and put down 2k. Relatively easy and pleasant.As it turns out the car they sold me (car B) was not the one I test drove and liked (Car A). This may possibly be my fault; going through communications I see they did start talking about another car, but the car they sold me, subsequent to the sale, got lost? Yes it was lost! They first said it was at their Auburn facility. Monday turns to Tuesday, turns to Wednesday, meanwhile I am driving a rental at $50/day (I asked for a loaner on Monday and was denied). With no phone calls telling me when I can pick up the car, I show up Wednesday on my lunch hour. At this point they tell me the car is lost!!! (it is not in Auburn), and I find out it was not the car I wanted, and thought I bought (Car A) was still on the lot and they would not honor the agreed to price. Classic; Bait and Switch? In any case we came to terms on the car I wanted. That was Wednesday afternoon.The car is not ready at the end of the day. It is not ready at the end of the day on Thursday. Friday I call and find out they will be putting the plates on at 2:00PM. I show up at 2:15, and they are putting the plates on. It still has to go through inspection and I wait until 5:00PM (Yes it took three hours) when I get the keys and drive off in my new car.After driving off I realize the gas tank is empty, and there is no manual. A couple of hours latter my son informs me there is no FM antennae. I dont know what else was missed.A couple of positives:1.They did provide a very nice loaner car from Wednesday to Friday.2.I left a very valuable item in the loaner and they picked it up from the current driver and dropped it off at my house.SB

Their diagnostic results cleared up my doubts about the integrity of this car long term. I was pretty sure there were some things going on that indicated the car needed more than my heater fixed. Short story is that even though I came in to get my heater fixed, I came away with so much more. Top notch service. A+. Better service than I have ever had.

I had an excellent experience with KB and Kyle. I was visiting family in Westborough when I visited the dealer to check out the Veloster turbo. KB introduced himself and actively worked with me to find the best car for me. He excused himself for five minutes and came back with the perfect car, a very gently used (2,000 miles!) 2014 Veloster Turbo at a price within my budget. At this point, I was reluctant to pursue the car because I am a Connecticut resident and didn't want the hassle of registering an out-of-state car. I needn't have worried though; KB took excellent care of me and handled the entire process. He drove down to Connecticut, had the VIN verified, and sat at the DMV until the car had plates and a registration. When I walked into the dealer the next weekend, he simply handed me the keys and the registration to the car, freshly washed, and wished me luck. Throughout the process, Kyle and KB were honest, straightforward, and above all, accommodating. They respected my decision to go with my own financing and worked very well with my insurance agent and bank to manage all the paperwork. Thanks to their efforts and flexibility, I was able to buy the car without missing any work even though I live in Connecticut. For my first experience buying a car, it was not stressful at all, and I got a great deal on a great car. Currently, I'm driving my Veloster around Connecticut with a big stupid grin on my face. This is a continuing review for Herb Chambers Hyundai. Her original salesman was Mark Habib, who was outstanding. In searching for my daughters first car, we purchased a 2012 Ford Fiesta with a manual transmission from this dealer. My daughter's university is in a fairly hilly area. She learned, in rush hour traffic, amid endless red lights along a very hilly commute that manual transmissions were just not for her, and she needed to have an automatic car instead! Thankfully, she was within the 5-day window for returns, as well as the 30 day window for exchanges. This review covers many individuals at the dealership, including Mark Habib her salesperson, Mike, the Used Car Manager, Chris and Rob, Sales Managers, and Dimitri and Josh of Sales, all of whom were consistently polite and professional. We test drove several other cars, including a Dodge Avenger, which had just been taken in, and had not yet undergone the typical 150-point inspections. The car was beautiful, but the test drive showed that the brakes and tires were worn. We were assured that when the car went through the 150-point inspection anything that was wrong would be taken care of. She exchanged the Fiesta for the Avenger, and when we took delivery of the car, a test drive with Josh out onto the highway showed that everything was in top order. The dealership did everything promised, and did a great job of allowing her to transition between the two cars with a minimum of stress and paperwork. Our family and friends are now big Herb Chambers fans. :)

She fell in love with a 2012 Ford Fiesta Sedan, with a 5-speed manual transmission. I do not normally take the time out of my life to review companies online, but I was so shocked by the service I received this past weekend when visiting Herb Chambers Hyundai of Westborough that I felt as though I had to make an exception. I had heard great things about Herb Chambers as a whole, so I had high expectations and was extremely disappointed. I initially found a used vehicle on their website I was interested in and called the location to see if the car I wanted was still available. The employee that answered the phone informed me that unfortunately the vehicle I wanted was no longer available but they had the exact same car in black. I clarified, asking if everything was EXACTLY the same, and the employee informed me that the only difference was that this car in black had an extra 3,000 miles on it. Not minding the extra milage, I decided to take the 40 minute trip out there to see the car.Upon arrival, I met with a salesman whom pulled up the vehicle on his computer and I then saw that it was priced at an additional $1,500 (from $9500 to $11000). I explained to the salesmen that I was interested in spending $9500, and what I had been told on the phone. He agreed with me that it was not right that I had driven there under false information and said he would change the price if he could but he had no control due to the non-negotiable smart pricing feature. I was confused as to why black paint would add an additional $1500 to the price but he explained the pricing is based on a number of things, most importantly, how long the vehicle had remained on the lot. He then offered to get his manager for me. The manager came out, I explained my situation and how disappointed I was and he said he would see what he could do. He then preceded to disappear for about an hour while I sat with the salesman and test drove the vehicle I was interested in. Finally, I got so fed up with waiting I asked him to check in with his manager. The salesman returned a minute later and told me the manager had been told no and there was nothing he could do. I was shocked that the manager himself could not have told me this, so I requested to speak with him. I explained my frustration with the fact that his employee had made a mistake and brought me to the store under false pretenses, and that as management he should honor the price and correct his employees mistake. Not to mention the fact that I was just explicitly told the customer before me had purchased the same exact vehicle for $1500 less than the price they were trying to charge me, for the same exact vehicle except the one I was interested in had 3000 MORE miles on it! The manager simply told me there was nothing he could do that day and he would get back to me. It has been 3 days since my visit and I have not heard a thing, not that I would still purchase from this manager after seeing how he values his customers satisfaction. My biggest frustration is not with this particular manager, or location but with the Herb Chambers company as a whole. I was really looking forward to shopping with them, and believed that they would provide me with good service and assistance in finding the car for me. My first experience was such a disappointment that I do not think I could ever return, and would certainly not recommend it to anyone.

Normally, I do not like to process of buying a new car. However, walking into this dealership was nothing less than the best. I was treated with respect by the sales reps and especially by Rob, the GM. After we test drove the first Sonata, that was similar to one we really wanted, there was one inside the showroom that we liked more simply because of the color combination.When we asked what it would take to move the car outside so we could drive that one, he did not even hesitate to jump up, and personally move 3 other cars around so we could drive the exact car we wanted. If I could give less than one star I would however, Stephanie White is the only star at this dealership. I am a female and Stephanie was an amazing new sales person helping me with getting my new 2014 Hyundai Veloster. After that, Chris the finance manager promised me up and down i would be driving away in my new car on Tuesday (I purchased late on Saturday). Heard nothing Monday, and Tuesday morning there was an "issue" getting my finance approved and the GM had to call the company at 3pm that day. Chris was supposed to have someone so i could do all my paperwork and leave Tuesday and completely disappointed. Then went Wednesday on my lunch to do the paperwork, and give insurance info. They were more than unprofessional when found i had Geico saying they take forever and it should only take an hour to get everything back. I informed Sam (bc now chris was off) that if they don't get it back in an hour call me because I'm supposed to leave Wednesday night with it. He promised i would. This was at 1pm ... He called me at 5pm to tell me he didn't get paperwork back. Geico called Sam three hours prior and told him his writing was illegible and needed a new one. I don't care whose wrong here, i should even have to deal with this. Again, i didn't get my car and took off work Thursday morning because it was supposed to be all set and ready for pickup at noon. Well, I left there at 3pm with no one taking accountability for completely giving me the run around for two additional days. One person barely saying sorry because they've never heard that salesman being awful. It felt like it didn't matter, i signed the paperwork and ill be paying no matter what, so they stopped helping the customer. I even left a voicemail for the GM Rob, and wrote him an email explaining my situation and how awful it was and how in this day and age, if you don't have customer service, you wont have a business. Ill never let any friend or family member of mine do business there, and really wish i just ripped up my contract after this. WORST PLACE EVER. no one holds their word, and no one takes accountability or tries to make the situation right ... its like my business didn't even matter .. I BOUGHT A NEW CAR COMMON!

I just purchased a car at Herb Chambers in Westborough and want to say I had the best car buying experience of my life! From the moment I called and asked if a specific car I saw in an ad on the internet was still available, the woman on the phone checked and said it is still on the lot. I could tell from the way she said it that they really had the carunlike every other dealer I called who just told me the car was still there and when I showed up they informed me it mustve been just sold, but wed be happy to show you another car. When I walked into Herb Chambers, there was an air of calm and professionalism. The day before, I was in another dealership that was like something out of the movies as it was more like a boiler room. One guy was wearing a silk suit and looked like John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever. I felt very uncomfortable there and was even more uncomfortable when the pressure started. As for the salesman at Herb Chambers, I met with Sam Ukpo and want to say he is the best car salesman in the world! What makes him the best is he is the antithesis of the typical car salesman. If I had to use one word to describe him it would be relaxed. He wasnt worried about whether you bought a car or not. And I dont mean that in a negative way or that he is lackadaisical. Sam was very attentive. What I mean is I felt a sense of freedom and peace. I didnt feel any pressure at all or that I was being sold to, cornered, or boxed in. I felt completely at ease and in control of the process. There is something about Sam that is genuine and transparent I could sense immediately. When I picked up the car, I mentioned to Sam that I thought he said this particular car had a car starter. I could tell he was trying to rack his brain and remember since there was a busy holiday weekend in-between when I purchased the car and when I picked it up and Sam had seen a ton of people. He asked the sales manager who said the car didnt have one and I thought maybe I misinterpreted what Sam said and maybe what he told me was the open/unlock buttons were now on the key (I had an old car where this wasnt the case). In any event, as I was halfway home with my new car, Sam calls and said he thinks he found the car starter and asked would I like to come back. I came back and sure enough, its the car starter for my new car. Sam went above and beyond the call of duty. I have been raving to all my friends about Sam and Herb Chambers since I bought the car and have been freely passing out his card. Another worthwhile thing to mention is the no-haggle price. Similar to how Saturn priced their cars, Herb Chambers offers a good value right off the top and eliminates the foolish routine of you making an offer and the sales person going back to the sales manager and then coming back with a counter-offer until you reach a mutually satisfactory price. This is another part of the process that was giving me angst and worry about how the dealership was going to scalp me. I checked the value of the car on some of the valuation sites and knew this was a good deal. As for the finance manager that was working that day, Mark, he couldnt have been nicer and friendlier. Mark explained the additional warranty options available and when I chose to decline any additional options, he didnt try to pressure, coax, or persuade me into purchasing any of them. In fact, I have joked with some of my friends that he was so nice and no-pressure, I almost wanted to buy something from him. Lastly, just to give you a little more flavor of the experience, Kass is one of the employees who has no direct connection with the customers and works in the back office, yet she passed by me a couple of times as I sat at Sams desk and just started a friendly conversation. When I picked up the car a few days later, I saw Kass again and she took time out of her day just to chat with me and make me feel at home.

So, If this is a duplicate review, sorry, my ipad wasn't accepting the review for some reason. I walked into the dealership, knew what I wanted, met with Sam, who btw was totally awesome! Found exactly what I wanted in 10 minutes. From buying to driving away, Sam was very respectful, a true gentleman, very patient and explained everything to me. He made buying my car so pleasurable. Besides Sam, who is the best salesman in the world, Jen in finance rocked, as well as Rick, the GM, and Chris and lets not forget the receptionists also. I was very comfortable from the minute I walked in, Sam didn't pressure me at all. I have been being Hyundai's for over 20 years. We bought a Subaru Outback and we are pleased with the purchase we made. Initially the car came with a manual and automatic key but Sam went the extra mile and looked for the other automatic key! Sales agent did a good job but service department was problematic. The only option that was not already on the car that I added was a rear bumper applique. When I picked up the car they had forgotten to install it but because I was coming back in for a state inspection in a few days I agreed to have it installed then. When I checked in for the inspection I told the service receptionist about the applique but when my care was ready they had again forgotten to install it. I agreed to come back in two days just to have this done. I brought the car in as promised and waited for an hour only to find out that the had done a poor job installing the only one they had and it had to be ripped off. It looked like they had installed it without cleaning the car. I was then asked to come back as soon as more arrived. I've decide not to give them another chance to waste my time and rather asked that they send me the $50 I paid for the option. Doubt if I will be back for service. Love the car. Too bad about the poor service department.

Unfortunately my wife's car died on Thanksgiving and by Saturday afternoon our mechanic said to not put any more money into it. We immediately jumped in the car and headed over to Herb Chambers Hyundai as I had done a little research before and knew I was interested a Tucson or an Elantra. When we arrived Larry Culley introduced himself and offered any assistance and showed us a red 2013 Tucson (as well as offering his white 2013 Tucson that he was picking up that night if we preferred that). He had a very low key / humorous approach and definitely knew the car well as he provided everything we would need to know. My wife decided that it was far to large however, so we ended up taking an Elantra out for a test drive. Larry was very informative about the car and never put pressure on us to buy the car or shorten the drive. I am the type of person that always needs to go to at least 2 different dealerships to ensure I get the best deal. I never left Herb Chambers Hyundai however because I appreciated the no pressure sales tactics, Larry was fantastic and I got a really good deal. Throughout the sales process we never felt forced, there was always good humor passed between coworkers and everyone made it incredibly smooth. The next day was stressful as we were attempting to get our old car towed into the dealership so that we could exchange plates and pick up the new car. The tow service was hours late, but Larry ensured that finance would be there and that he would stay until we were able to drive home. Larry showed us all of the new features cars have now (ours were 10+ years old) and even set up my wifes phone to the bluetooth. Definitely a place I will recommend to my friends and the first place I will go when I need another car.

I came to this dealership as a walk in the day after Labor Day. I was slovenly dressed. The first salesman assigned to me obviously did not like my looks. He winced. I have no doubt this first salesman was reacting to the way I dressed that day and not my paralysis , but when you have been paralyzed since infancy you get irritated when anyone winces when they first look at you, no matter the reason. This first salesman quickly made an excuse that he had someone else coming in soon ( this seemed like a transparent lie) and quickly dumped me off to the first colleague of his he spotted, one Sam Ukpo. Sam Ukpo is a true professional. He did not judge me on my appearance. After watching him in action I am here to testify he treats every person he encounters with respect. His questions to me were pertinent to discovering my true needs. SAM UKPO LISTENED. He brought his sales manager in at the appropriate time. The sales manager was also great. HE LISTENED. Together we quickly identified a vehicle and a price. I signed a contract that very same day and picked it up the next day. This dealership has an unpressured, customer oriented environment for buying a new car. Comfortable, clean showroom with coffee, ice cream, TV! lots chairs, computer space; helpful, friendly staff even those not directly involved with us; greatest salesman, Larry Culley, really knew the car and had a very personable, low key approach that was genuine. We knew what we wanted and were taken seriously. Herb Chambers seems to be trying to fill the gaps we all experience when buying a car or getting one serviced. Bought a new 2013 Elantra about a week ago from Herb Chambers Hyundai in Westborough. The sales person, Russ, was a tremendous help during the whole process. I found the perfect car for a great price and with Russ's help, came out of there with a great new car and an overall great experience. They have a very nice facility which makes the purchasing of the car that much better. I would definitely recommend buying a car from them to any of my friends and family.

In April of 2012 I purchased a new Hyundai. I purchased a new car opposed to used because I wanted the new features such as satellite radio and blue-tooth as I intend to pass the car to my daughter next year. People kept saying they couldn't hear me well on my blue-tooth. I brought the car in for service to have them look at it. They send me away with the problem being worse. No one could understand anything I was saying now. Brought the car back in. Over the course of 13 months, numerous visits with two different service managers they couldn't fix the problem. After the second service manager left the dealership I started to deal with a service tech who kept telling me he couldn't get someone from Hyundai to call him back. Is a costumer who has been without an important function of any new car for over a year supposed to believe this couldn't have been elevated to a higher level of management for resolution? The third service manager got someone from Hyundai to call back and schedule me for another appointment. (Side note: I asked to have them change my oil while they had the car.) When I picked up the car the blue-tooth was fixed however they didn't change my oil or wash the car. You think they would have got these things done right considering the circumstances. The service guy asked what they could do for me to make this mess right. I asked if they could install a remote starter. Not very expensive and would have made a nice gesture and I would have been all good. I called back the following week and the service manager said he was looking into it. That was the last time I heard from them. I'm really disappointed in this dealership and will likely start taking my and my families business elsewhere.

"am I getting the best deal".. "are my payments going to be too high"..so many questions running through my mind, and the last time I purchased a new car about 7 years ago.. I regretted it. I didn't get the options I wanted. I didn't get the monthly payment I was comfortable with. This time when I met Sam, he worked for me. He got me the car I wanted. Awesome experience at this Herb Chambers of Westboro. I left my family in the car and entered myself to be greeted by the receptionist who lead me to Jean Bading. I told her exactly the vehicle I was looking for after she warmly greeted me and she proceeded to set some things up to take me on a test drive. After a day or two I came in to discuss the purchase of the vehicle with some requests on top that were completely accepted by Mike Conelly. He was very honest and straightforward in his approach which pleased me as there was no schtick involved. Over the next week Jean was super sweet and helpful. She even helped my two young girls for a bathroom break when I came to drop off the deposit as I didn't feel comfortable using the men's restroom. Apples and bottled water served to ease our stays there since our first encounter. (The girls loved the granny smiths!) This Herb Chambers fulfilled my requests for the purchase price, let me take the vehicle on an extended personal test drive for hours, met my demands with equity, hastened every step of the paper trail, and delivered a pristine used vehicle which met my strict standards to the "t". I am very impressed with their mission and objectives to give a great customer experience. They really have the best prices around. We'll be back again Jean. I came here with my mother for her car, and she loved Jean Bading so much that I decided to use her to buy my own car. While my mom was going over some paperwork for her car, Jean took me over to the used car lot and I noticed a few cars I liked. Jean wrote them down and got the keys to them. I really liked the Dodge Journey, and Jean made sure I was able to afford it. She managed to get me low monthly payments and made sure I was happy with everything. I jokingly asked her if she could fill my gas tank, rather than just fill it half way which is their standard for used cars, and the business guy said she asked him at least 10 times if she could fill it. Her dedication made my first solo car buying experience fantastic and she definitely became my dealer for life! Thanks so much Jean, and I tell everyone I know to go to you for a new car!

I went to Herb Chambers Hyundai of Westborough mainly because I had a terrible time dealing with a different Hyundai dealership in Framingham for my previous car. I walked into the dealership and was greeted by Jean Bading. I told her what I was looking for and within minutes she showed me the perfect car. We took a test drive and she made sure I loved that car. She made an excellent choice. Jean made me feel very comfortable and not rushed. She really doesn't have the personality of a standard car dealer. She's far too friendly, honest, personable, and she is very uplifting for this company. I think there should be more women selling cars because she really did not rush me or try to make a quick buck. She was truly amazing, and I would only go back because of her. On the other hand, the service I received with the financing people was less than stellar. I told them I needed to be at work soon and they didn't seem to make the process go by very fast at all. I ended up being two hours late to work, and I felt as though they used that as a ploy to get me to spend more. And they did. I was so rushed to get to work that I didn't notice some of the things they charged me for. I went back and Jean gave me a hug and apologized on behalf of the whole company. She really made sure that I got every thing I wanted. I would definitely recommend going to this dealership (probably on your day off) and ask for Jean Bading. She's one of their newer saleswomen, and you should definitely take advantage of her spectacular personality. She hasn't had the time to turn into one of those pushy, careless salesmen, and personally, I don't think she ever will. First thing you should say when you walk in is "Hi, I'm looking for Jean Bading." She'll probably spin around and sprint to you with excitement. She's awesome, and I love the car she gave me. She is the reason to get a Hyundai, and I'm so glad I met her. Thanks so much Jean! (She also gives comforting hugs!)

I am not writing this review thinking I got a great price. I did, as a matter of fact. And I did not haggle for that at all! I am writing this review because I was really impressed with the hard work this team put together. Its been a great experience at this Herb, unlike their Honda (bitten twice!) and BMW dealership. I found the team at Hyundai Westborough very friendly and honest. Raphael was the sales consultant that I worked with. He is knowledgeable and was always ready to give information. He is an inspiration when it comes to hard work and he is very thorough. Did not take anything for granted, was very understanding, gave all the information. without bashing any other competitors vehicle or talked low of them. He never tried to hard sell any of his cars either. Rusty was straight forward and honest. No beating around the bush. He was upfront with his calculation and showed where he could give and where he cannot. I am a Truecar buyer and research extensively. I know if a dealer tries to pull a fast one. Rusty and the team was not. Mike was very friendly and was always there to make it comfortable for us. Car buying is not easy at all, even with all the tools we have on the net. The art in selling the car, for me, is not power selling but about making the consumer at ease and give information for them to make the decision that they will be happy about. You did exactly that Raphael, Mike, Rusty. I appreciate your understanding and honoring our thinking and being very respectful. I recommend Herb Hyundai Westborough team to everyone. Had a flat tire. Called service they suggested I use the flat repair kit. I then googled testimonials on using this repair kit. Testimonials suggested I dont use it. The dealership fails to tell you that once you use the repair kit you are not able to get tire repaired. It's a hoax! I then called roadside they brought car into shop. Hundai called and suggested that I get a new tire because I had used the repair kit. I replied "I have not used the flat repair kit". They had automatically assumed I had used the kit. It was almost as they had this practiced. Everytime someone comes in with a flat they assume that the repair kit had to have been used. I explained I avoided using the repair kit after viewing testimonials online. Since they couldn't get me to buy the tire (for $135.00) they transfered me to Mike (the service guy). He also tried to get me to buy a tire. He told me that the roadside guy said I had wear and tear on the tire. I then called the roadside assistance guy. I explained the situation and he could not believe what they were trying to do. He completely denied any conversation with the service dept. He said they were just trying to sell me a tire. It's a hoax, they were trying to sell me a tire. Also, had I used the tire repair kit it it would have cost $45.00 to replace it. I avoided almost $200.00 in costs. At the end I had to get a police officer to come to the dealership. They were trying to charge a $22.00 fee for fixing the flat. After I had caught them in their game they still insisted on me paying. In the end they refunded the money and I will never go for service at Hundai Westboro, Ma again. Buyer Beware!!!!

He was very informative of all the different vehicle models that they offered and gave me an extensive test drive on the first car I drove (ended up being the car I chose to lease). Joel was never too forward and never put pressure on me the entire time I was there. I felt extremely comfortable throughout this entire process with Joel and would definitely recommend to go see him if you are interested in leasing or buying at Herb Chambers Hyundai of Wesborough. The dealership overall has such a large selection of vehicles that this would be the place to go if you are looking to purchase or lease a Hyundai. My wife and I were in the market to trade our used Audi for something a bit more contemporary. On a whim, we went to Herb Chambers Hyundai in Westborough based on previous good experiences with the Herb Chambers brand. Upon entry, we were greeted by a sales manager (Michael Connelly) and immediately passed over to a very knowledgable salesman named Joel Brown. Joel listened to the criteria that my wife and I had and picked the exact model of car that best reflected our values. Typically test drives are done within 15 minutes. You pick a short route, you U-turn (esp. on this section of Rt. 9) and you're done. Joel extended the test drive to allow for an adequate experience of the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport on most of the common New England surfaces (read: gravelly road, paved roads, highway-esque speeds, frost heaved roads). Some of the features of the car were new to him and he admitted as such but having him along for the ride wasn't a burden at all...we appreciated his honesty and his candor. When it came time to decide on whether to lease or buy, Joel didn't pressure us one way or the other. Our ultimate decision to buy the vehicle (vs. lease) did impact his commission bottom line (as it does in most dealerships) but he was supportive nonetheless. I would HIGHLY recommend Joel to any other person that is looking for a Hyundai.

There was a small custom touch that I wanted and thought the dealership could do, but they couldn't get the part. Mark went to Ebay and bought it himself. Often times when I read reviews like this I think some of them are so over the top that they are either from employees or family members of the dealership. But I have to say it is with great pleasure that I sing the praises of my experience at Herb Chambers Hyundai in Westborough. I decided to shop at this store after being displeased with how I was treated by the management team at a competitor of theirs. I was very surprised and pleased when a pleasant, professional and hospitable gentleman approached me. My initial thought was "this guy is pretty well dressed, he must be a top salesman", as it turns out, Gregory Howle, the General Manager of this beautiful state of the art dealership had taken the time to stop and chat and start a relationship. I was alos impressed at how the entire staff is professionally dressed and their demeanor and approach match their attire, At the time he approached me, he had no idea that the reason I left his competitor was because of the lack of attention, communication and professional respect by their management. Mr. Howle was extremely attentive to the details of my needs, and I was highly impressed with how pleasant and cordial our conversation was from beginning to end. My sales people, Bryan George and Mark Habib took the same consultative approach in my dealings with them. Because I was very discerning in my approach, I had several vehicles to drive. I was amazed at how well this sales team work with each other to expedite my deal. I was very impressed as to the "old school" techniques for which they showed me all the features of the vehicle I was test driving (inside and out). I commented that..."I learend more about the cars I test drove than I had known about my previous 3 cars after taking ownership". This consultative, professional and detailed approach is exactly how I try to conduct myself and it was nice to work with a dealership and professionals that share the same principals in their operation.I have had several makes of vehicles from several different dealers in my past 23 years of driving. This is the second Hyundai I purchased from a Herb Chambers dealership. Much like my parents, grandparents aunts and uncles that chose thier dealer for a lifetime, I left the dealership with a new Sonata Hybrid and all I could think is..."My vehicle of choice is Hyundai and my dealer for life is Herb Chamber Hyundai of Westboro". Great job to everybody that helped make this my best car buying experience ever...and I am definitely not a family member or employee, but I definitley consider myself a friend!!!

Overall my experience at Herb Chambers Hyundai was good- they were able to track down the specific make of the car I was looking for down to all details. Tim was friendly and knowledgeable about details of the car and followed-up within the week to make sure everything was still going well.Only complaints I had were regarding the prep detail work done on the car- lots of interior stickers and outside streaks left from the work. Also, when originally quoted monthly finance rates by GM, they were wrong.

My first experience with the dealership was when I blew a tire and bent a rim on my 2011 Elantra that I purchased from the Auburn location. I called the Hyundai emergency assistance line and had the car towed to the Westborough location which is closest to where I work. The service department was great! The Amanda, Joie and John are true professionals and provided me with a very positive experience. It must have been fate because a mailing from the Auburn store arrived the very same day that I blew my tire teasing me with an offer to trade my 2011 in for a 2013 model. I went in two days later on my lunch hour and once again received superb service from the dealership, this time from a salesperson, Mark Habib. For only $18/month more than what I was currently paying, I walked out with the exact car that I originally wanted but because the 2011 models were just arriving to the showrooms, I was unable to get the exact car I wanted. When all is said and done, my experience with Herb Chambers Hyundai in Westborough has been a very positive experience!

I went to the Hyundai dealership to inquire buying a new car with my parents. We met with Tim from sales. I already knew I wanted the Elantra and Tim had us test drive the Limited version and the GLS. I of course reaally wanted the Limited version but the price was out of my range. They worked hard with me to get it to a price that I could afford. Since my credit history is extremely short, I ended up getting the loan through my bank, but what the last payment option the dealership offered me did get me to where I wanted to be. Tim got us all the answers we needed and was very helpful. We then met with Bob in finance. He was great. He has been in the industry a long time and is very knowledgeable. I would recommend this dealership. I love my new car! :)

I went in to look at the Elantra worked with mark he asked me few questions to make sure he is getting me the right car. He really wowed me with the information he knew about the Car and how provisional he was. I had a very tight budget and mark promised he never lost a consumer over price. I decently wanted the car so it was a matter of price Mark went to his manager Gregory Howled got me a really good price but i still wanted to shop his price. I went to another 5 dealers i couldn't believe the different in the way i was treated and the herbchambers experience is decently the best and no other dealer came near the price Greg gave me. I wil make sure any one needs a car to go to herb chambers. And any Hyundai Mark is the best Hyundai provisional out there. I went in to look at a small base car this way I don't have to spend to much money on gas or features that make the price go to the roof. So Mark showed me few cars accent sonata and finally an elantra. I was amazed by the fact it won the 2012 north America car of the year. Mark was so knowledge about the car he explained everything about the car in detail he was honest and upfront even his manager gave me a really fair price I didn't even expect. I love my new elantra and will be there in few years to get a car for my daughter.

I would not recommend this dealership for service only to get a good price, but that is taking a chance. When I went to buy the car, I dealt with a very inexperienced salesperson, who while very nice, was extremely slow and unsure of the proper steps. We were there for over 3 hours and instead if getting the car that day or at least within a few days, it took a full week because the salesperson took too long to submit the paperwork to the insurance company. On the plus side, I felt like the price I paid for the car was very reasonable.I have now owned the car 10 months and on 5 separate occasions the car would not start because of a drained/dead battery. On two occasions, I went elsewhere but the last 2 times this occurred, I went back to this dealership. The first time that they looked at the car, they could not figure out what was wrong, but eventually found that the brake switch did not work properly. It took them 3 days to discover this. I would not have minded this except the service person I dealt with (Joie) twice tried to insist that I drive 35 miles back to the dealership to switch loaner cars. She even threatened to charge my credit card even though the GM told me I did not have to return the car. When I complained about the threat, he told me that she was just doing her job. I didn't know that threatening a customer was part of their job. The next time, the car would not start, they found a code that the BCM was faulty so they replaced it and assured me that everything was fine.For two months, the car ran well. However, after coming back from a vacation for 2 1/2 weeks, the car would not start. The head service person, John Donavon, basically said that it was my fault since I was supposed to remove a fuse so the battery would not drain. He said that had I read the manual, I would have known that. They sent someone to boost the car and everything was fine for 4 days until 11 days ago when the car was completely dead once again. So now they think that the remote starter, which they had installed, caused all these problems. So I was not at fault at all but of course they do not apologize. I still do not have the car back (almost 2 weeks now) and feel that they do not know what they are doing.While I can't blame the dealership for selling me a lemon, it is their responsibility to resolve this and at least 2 of the people that I have been dealing with have not been very cordial or professional. So I would not go here whatsoever for service and even to buy I would be hesitant despite the fact that I got a good price.

Bought a 2012 Sonata from this dealership, Mark Habib (salesperson) is very professional, knowledgeable and upfront. There were the usual ups and downs of a new car purchase, but overall experience was pretty good. Car I bought was not in stock, but got it in a day, much earlier than both my expectation and the promised delivery timeframe, so kudos for that. Also got a remote engine start installed and experience with service staff was pleasant too. Showroom is pretty plush, in fact gorgeous. Staff is friendly and courteous. Got a good deal with the financing too, business manager was very patient, knowledgeable, did go over variety of options for financing, made the decision making easy.

Andrew was a consummate professional. He negotiated well and made me comfortable that he was there to help me. He also arranged for me to bring the car home when I was trying it out so my wife could try it (which was a huge factor in enabling the deal!)The only concerns I have with the dealership overall is the high-pressure approach they handed to Andrew to use on me. They indicated the model I wanted was "the only one available in the country." This line was used by more than one sales person. While it's true that the model was a fast seller (according to Forbes), I wasn't thrilled with the approach. Having said that, when I confronted Andrew with the news that I had called other dealers to see if they had the same model in stock (they said they did), he was incredibly apologetic and handled the entire situation perfectly.Overall I'm very happy I bought the car. I didn't negotiate too hard and I don't believe I got the best possible price, but the dealership was lucky to have someone like Andrew working with me or I'd likely not have done the deal.

My brand new car Hyundai Accent which I leased from this dealership had check engine light on ,thrice within a month's time .On first two occasions the service people couldn't fix it and third time my car was in dealership for several days before they finally fixed it .I was assured by the dealership that I will be compensated for this inconvenience .However its been two months since then , and nothing has been done .Everytime I call dealership to follow up, all I get is flimsy excuse .

I went to this dealership because my engine was overheating and I did not know what the problem was. DAY 1: I take my car in and inform the service agent John that the engine is overheating and possibly the coolant is leaking. I leave the car with them for a day. Next day I go to pick up the car, I am told that the thermostat was replaced, the radiator clamps had to be replaced, the coolant refilled, I owe $120 odd for the job. I pay, thank them and leave. I was out of town on business for a whole week. Week 1: I come back and drive maybe 1 mile to the grocery store and my coolant starts raining down from under my car. I drive it back to Herb Chambers immediately, talk to John again, He sees a pool of coolant under my car right at the service station. I wait for 1.5 hours only to be told that the radiator clamps had not been tightened enough. He assures me they have been tightened now. I thank him and leave.Week 2: Next weekend, the coolant again starts leaking although not as severely as in Week 1. I take it back to Herb Chambers, talk to John again. He takes the car inside the service area. After 1.5 hours his assistant tells me that the clamps needed to be re-positioned. I don't say anything, just take my car and leave.Week 3: Coolant level goes down again, this time on a Sunday. I see a few drops of coolant under my car, drive to Herb Chambers, but they are closed. I return after work on Monday. John seems upset that I am there for a 4th time. He asks me what the problem was. I tell him its the coolant again. He asks me if I saw it leak. I said yes, yesterday (on Sunday). He asks me if I saw it leak today (Monday). I said no, I was at work and did not find time to look under the car, much less go under it in the clothes I wear to work. He asks me if I knew whether the coolant was leaking into the engine. I tell him that it was his job to determine that and I did not understand why he was asking me these questions when he was supposed to do the diagnosing the first time I brought the car in 4 weeks ago. He told me not to come into his service station with an attitude. I decided that he was just trying to provoke me and I'd rather speak to a more reasonable person. I called in at Herb Chambers the next day (Tuesday) and asked to speak to the general manager. I was directed to the sales manager Antonio instead. I explained the situation to him and told him that that was my 6th visit to his establishment for improperly tightened clamps. I also explained that John was rude for no reason. Antonio was very understanding. He proposed that I leave my car in for a full diagnostic run over 2 days. Gave me a free replacement car for that time period. After 2 days, when I picked up my car, I was informed by John that the clamps and thermostat had been replaced again, at no cost to me. Well of course at no cost, I paid for the repair the first time. Anyway I was grateful to Antonio for taking care of the situation. However I was very disappointed by the service station staff in both their behavior and worksmanship. I would never recommend this service station to a friend.

We went to look at the new Genesis coupe and after test driving 4 vehicles, Nicole was very patient with us!, we ended up buying a 2010 Coupe. Shopping for and buying the car was the best part of the deal, however after the sale is when the train came off of the tracks. We took the car home that night and we were told that they would bring the registration to our house the next day. Because of some mix up with paper work on their side this didn't happen. Two days later when we went back to the dealership, 40 miles each way, they still hadn't done the paper work and after waiting 2.5 hours we were told to come back on Monday.We made a 9:00 appointment the following Tuesday,only to find out that they still didn't have the registration, forcing us to wait another 2 hours, we were not very happy having to wait again, losing even more time from work. We did finally recieve the registration but because of the delay we were unable to have the vehicle inspected that day, which was the reason for early appointment.Like I said buying the car was fine but the follow through after the sale really was painful and costly to us.

It was the first time I left a dealer, after buying a new car, that I felt as though I truly received a fair deal. Got more for my trade than another dealer offered. The whole experience was stress free and they handled everything. For a new dealership they did everything well. I had to go back to get it inspected and for a second smart key and they even offered to pick the car up and leave me a loaner while they did it. In the service waiting area they had free tea and drink available and the service people kept me informed of the status at all times.As a nice touch a week later they both sent me a letter thanking me for purchasing from them. That never happened before so they are obviously going out of their way in the customer relationship department. I would definately reccommend this dealership.Very satisfied with the car, the service, and the way I was treated.

I found the sales and finace people to be helpful, answer my questions patiently. They gave me a good deal on my old car-not blue book value of course but better than other dealerships were offering. They gave me the trade-in value very quickly. They went over financing with me, and waited patiently while I went through my calculations to confirm things and choose the best option. They gave me a competitive rate on the financing-I simply mentioned my credit union's rates and they matched that. The facility is brand new, so they have an almost unfair advantage in that respect. Everything shiny and squeaky clean, a fridge full of water, really good coffee. Stefan took me through the service area, introduced me to the manager, explained the maintenance schedule, showed me the service menu. The dealership offers a lot to customers-loaner cars, shuttles back to work, etc. Stefan went through the many many features of my car (sonata hybrid) very patiently.I walk into a car dealer expecting to get hustled, and I don't want to imply that these folks were not aggressive. But nothing out of the ordinary or over the line. It's best to go in knowing your own limits and expecting to be pushed. I think these folks are effective without being excessively pushy.The gong was weird, but a lot of cool cars have their own little cult-like rituals associated with sales, so, whatever.

This dealership is interested ONLY IN A SALE. Once the car is off the lot, there is no follow up on pending items. Even when I call the dealership to remind them of their signed I-O-U list, EVERYONE,I MEAN EVERYONE is always busy to attend my call. These same people called me 3 times a day prior to the sale now I have become an avoiable EX-CUSTOMER. I was warned by all and sundry to avoid HERB CHAMBERS, but against their warnings bells I gave HERB CHAMBERS a chance...NEVER WILL I DEAL WITH HERB CHAMBERS AGAIN. They have a fancy show room with no after sale customer service. Their computer system is not functional, neither do they have parts in the parts department but they have a long list of excuses on how to avoid a customer after the sale is complete. CUSTOMER BEWARE.

The difference was like night and day - our salesperson Stefan, his sales manager Anthony and the finance manager Robert all went above and beyond to make the process go smoothly for us. Coming into buying a car has always been a fear of mine because as a young, single female, the stereotype of being taken advantage of is overwhelming. However, I came into this dealership nervous and left incredibly confident and happy. Rich was outstanding to work with, and never once pressured me into any one decision. He led me though the process as if I were a family member and allowed me to make the best choices for me, and not the dealership (unlike most dealers I have been to). Paul was also a great support to Rich, specifically, his gentle approach in regards to also not pressuring me into any one thing. After spending about an hour with Rich he helped me realize, do to the budget I was working within I was on the wrong vehicle. I came in looking for a Hyundai Sonata and left in Limited Elantra. Rich and his Team were able to get me the Monthly and Down Payemnts were I needed to be. They even gave more then I thought they would for my trade. Which made me very Happy. Thanks to Rich I found a vehicle that had all my needs and better gas miles for less per month. The facility was beautiful and state of the art. While I was waiting to see finance I was able to do some things I needed to do on one of there free internet stations.... The Place is 'GAWGES'!!.. I visited this dealership on 8/13/11 during their grand opening weekend. I called in advance to scheduled a test drive on an Accent Sedan listed online as being in stock. I spoke with a man named Andrew who said he personally went into the lot ("touched this car"), and confirmed it was an automatic transmission. Andrew also gave me details on an internet ad guaranteeing $5000 for certain trades--according to Andrew, "if the car runs, you'll get $5000 for it." I gave him the details of my trade (an '04 Alero with 122K miles on it), and he confirmed that car qualified for this deal.When I arrived at the dealership a few hours later, we were given a very pleasant tour of the new facility with Ryan Murphy. Soon he pulled an Accent Hatchback in for us to take a test drive in. Ryan said they did not have any sedans in stock, but the hatchback handled about the same way, and we agreed to test it as we would also consider a hatchback if the price worked.After our test drive we began working with salesman Anthony Carlino. He informed us that our Alero (which an employee had evaluated) was worth only $700 in trade, but they'd give us $1000 for it. I explained what I had been told earlier about the $5000, and Anthony said he'd talk to his boss, but that it was not worth $5k. We spent over an hour with Anthony and Ryan in discussion about hatchback we drove, with Anthony coming back to us time after time with a new offer of lower payments and slightly higher deals for our trade. My husband and I had come in with very specific price guidelines which the Accent Sedan would have fit, but the team was determined to have us drive off the lot with the hatchback that was in stock. (We later found out that the sedan listed online was in fact a manual transmission, and the price listed would have been higher for an automatic.) As first-time car buyers, it was a little intimidating to be presented with the mallet for their sales gong and be repeatedly encouraged to make a deal so we could go ring it. We were able to leave the dealership by firmly establishing that it was the price and features of the sedan that we were truly interested in, and we were convinced to leave a $500 deposit to secure the final financing offers we reached (about $4500 for the Alero, certain loan terms, etc). It was put in writing on the paperwork that this deposit was 100% refundable, and we agreed to come back in on Monday (8/15/11) when they were expecting to have the sedans in stock.That Monday I called the dealership to check on the status of the Sedans, and they had not yet arrived. I told Ryan Murphy that we would try to be in the following week to test drive when they came in. On that day my husband and I also visited other local dealerships so we had a larger variety of cars to compare the Accent to. We ended up loving and purchasing a 2010 Focus that day. When the sale was final a few days later, I called Herb Chambers and spoke with Anthony saying I would like to have the deposit check destroyed because we had purchased a different car. Anthony told me he would take care of it. Today (Monday, 8/22/11), I received a call from Ryan saying that they received new Accent Sedans for us to check out. This worried me, since Anthony was supposed to have taken care of things during the last week--and now having checked my bank statements online, I saw that the $500 check was deposited on Monday 8/15/11. While it was my misunderstanding that the check would remain untouched until we made a car decision, I wasn't pleased that I was told it would be destroyed when it was in fact already deposited. In speaking with Anthony about my displeasure with this situation he was very apologetic and very expeditious in his efforts to ensure that a refund check be cut right away--once he ensured that the check had cleared with my bank he was able to generate the check and prepare it to mail on the same day (8/22/11). I appreciate the expediency and generosity (offers to overnight-mail the check or drive it to my house) that was shown in correcting the matter.Overall, I have reservations in recommending the dealership due to the lack of communication (Ryan not knowing we were no longer interested) and the degree of mis-information I was given (Andrew telling me the sedan was an automatic and our trade was worth $5k, Anthony telling me the check would be destroyed not realizing it was deposited) during my initial and latter phone calls. I hope that once the location is open and smoothly running for longer than a week that these problems wouldn't happen to others, and others may be able to comment about the more current experiences. The establishment was gorgeous and the staff was friendly, so those factors are on their side.

My visit at Herb Chambers Hyundai of Westborough was a pleasant one compaired to other dealers that I have dealt with. All of the employees were friendly and courteous, especially Johnny Rodrigues. As his first sale, I think he did a great job explaining everything to me. He made the visit a pleasant one. As for the other dealership, I found that they weren't very interested in finding the vehicle that I wanted. They just wanted to sell me what was on hand in the showroom. Thank you to everyone at Herb Chambers Hyundai in Westborough for your help in getting the car I wanted.

We had a great experience dealing with Mark. Although this was his first sale, he went above and beyond to help to make it a great experience for us. He was very knowledgable and very professional but he also added a personal touch to our conversations and made us feel very comfortable. Although I am waiting 6-8 weeks for the car of my choice I expect to have nothing but the best experience with Herb Chambers. I also was impressed with Robert Mann.. he was professional and yet very friendly.

I purchased my first new car through Herb Chambers Hyundai in Westborough Massachusetts. I had a very pleasant experience doing business with them, and they made me feel very comfortable with what has been one of the biggest investments in my life so far. I also found them to be incredibly accommodating where other Hyundai dealerships just gave me the runaround or just didn't want my money because the car I wanted was not in stock, and they weren't willing to go the extra mile and locate/acquire it for me.As soon as I pulled into the dealership after being referred to them through edmonds.com from a query I filled out, I met Darryll Valcourt who ended up being my sales consultant through this whole process. He is a very down to earth guy who I felt very comfortable doing business with. He appreciated the fact that I did my research simply because it ended up making his job a whole lot easier. I really appreciated such openness and I can totally relate to where he was coming from. I told him that I wanted a Hyundai Elantra with a standard transmission equipped with the comfort package for a fair price that I researched previously on edmonds.com, and I ended up with exactly what I asked for after being at the dealership about an hour and a half.There was a slight delay when it came to financing, but this was understandable to me simply due to the volume of sales that were happening this grand opening weekend. Despite this delay, I had a very pleasant experience hanging out with Darryll and the time went by very quickly, to me it wasn't a bad way at all to spend a Saturday afternoon. Darryll even bought me lunch which he really didn't need to do, but it was a very kind gesture that I thought was worth mentioning.I had an excellent experience, and I would recommend this dealership, and particularly Darryl Valcourt to anyone that asks me where I got my new Elantra!

I was looking to purchase a 2012 Hyundai Sonata. I am new to the area, so I called 411 information from my cell phone, to see if there was a Hyundai Dealership in the Westboro area. I was connected to Herb Chambers Hyundai. I didn't realize that at the time of my phone call, it was one week before the dealership was set to have it's grand opening. I had the pleasure of speaking to the General Manager, Adriano Poocci. He was extremely kind, and professional, and answered all of my questions. I made an appointment for the following week to come in. The day after speaking to Adriano, I received a call from Anthony Carlino the sales manager. He just wanted to follow up with regards to my conversation with Adriano and wanted to make sure I didn't have any further questions. A few days before my appointment I received a phone call from Ryan Murphy a sales rep ( who actually sold me my car) He too, wanted to introduce himself, and to make sure I didn't have any questions before my appointment.I was very impressed with the dealership itself, it was brand new, and still in the process of being set up. Everyone was very friendly, and accomdating. I met Adriano, Anthony and Ryan in person, but every other employee that worked there made it a point to say hello or introduce themselves or simply asked if I needed anything. I couldn't have felt more welcomed. Everyone worked with me on my trade and made sure that I received a deal that was acceptable to me. I didn't feel any pressure from anyone, the staff at Herb Chambers are not the "sterotypical car salesman". They go above and beyond, to ensure the customer is happy. As you know, buying a car sometimes can be a lengthy process, well during the course of my paperwork, I felt like I was sitting with my family. Adriano is an excellent GM, and he made sure I was taken care of. Anthony was very helpful, not to mention entertaining, he certainly makes you feel at home and laugh. Ryan is awesome, in fact if you visit this dealership, I would ask for Ryan and Anthony personally, you will not be disappointed. Last but not least, Robert the business manager, he is very helpful and always willing to answer any questions you have. I would highly recommend this dealership and especially the gentlemen's names I listed above. I am extremely happy with my new car and definitely plan to revisit this dealership for any future trades or purchases.

I had a great experience at the new Herb Chambers Hyundai in Westboro. I have been looking for a 2012 Elantra for 3 weeks. I was looking for a silver GLS with prefered equipment package. I went to 2 other area Hyundai dealers that apparently didn't want my money, they wanted to sell me what they had, not what I wanted. Herb Chambers Hyundai took care of all of my needs and then some.
