My best car purchasing experience ever. Every person at Herb Chambers Toyota of Boston I have dealt with did exactly what they say. I quoted the 4Runner online. Without any hassle, Vander smoothly made agreement with me on the price, which is one of the best in this area. The particular model I'm looking for is rare, but Gene and Haider very quickly secured one for me at another dealership. At the beginning, I was a bit anxious about initiating this dealer swapping process, as it can end with a mess in many dealerships. However, Haider and their team made this whole process transparent and super smooth. They kept every promise, timing, model, color, etc. Thanks Haider for the excellent job and great effort. I have dealt with some other very good dealerships in the past. But my experience at Herb Chambers Toyota of Boston is simply the best. Thank you all very much!

Recently purchased 2014 Camry XLE. Originally was attracted to the dealership by the price and trim level of a 2013 XLE. Met with Haider Amin the salesperson who was friendly helpful, and very accommodating to our needs. Ultimately bought a 2014 XLE for less money after being alerted to it by the used vehicle manager. The whole process of buying the car was very smooth and quick. All the staff who were involved, were friendly, efficient and handled the various small glitches that came up during the trade in and insurance with great patience and customer friendly attitude. I've been through many auto buying experiences during my lifetime and this was the best by far.

I recently purchased a 2009 Lexus RX350 at Herb Chambers of Boston. My day started out bad as I got into an accident on my way to test drive the new vehicle! Once I arrived at Herb Chambers my day got markedly better. I was greeted by Mr. Joshua Peled and was treated with nothing but respect for the next 90 minutes. Joshua knew his stuff and we didn't play any games. He gave me a fair price for my newly damaged trade in and got me a good deal from the finance dept. I was signed, sealed and delivered in less than 90 minutes!! Oh, and Joshua is truly a man of his word, as I just received a re-imbursement check in the mail for the missing floor mat's that I purchased. Herb Chambers Toyota was awesome !. I worked with Howie, the manager and he was very helpful in the selection process and couldn't be nicer ! Justin was the one who showed me the car and I was very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge of the car. I was there late on the last day of the month and we were still processing the purchase an hour after closing. They never made me feel rushed and I was still having fun with them until I walked out the door. Justin did everything to accommodate me with the delivery of the car and spent a lot of time going over the features to make sure I was comfortable with everything. Again this was late in the evening. I would definitely recommend any of the Herb Chambers dealerships. I bought a Lexus from them a couple of years ago and had the same experience then. A nice change from the days of dreading going through the car buying process!

I have always loved Toyota cars for their quality, value, and dependability so when I had to purchase a new car due to my previous Toyota being in an accident and considered a total loss I immediately went to Herb Chambers Toyota online. The reason I chose this dealership over all other Toyota dealerships is their wonderful Service Department. Whenever I need any work with my car, whether a simple oil change or more complex work, I go see Gary Francois and the Service Team at Herb Chambers Toyota of Boston. They have always provided great service and performed the work my car needed to run smoothly. Which leads me to my new car. I knew from looking online that I was interested in a Toyota Corolla but was unsure as to which model I would purchase. I went into the dealership and met an amazing Sales Consultant, Haider Amin. Haider listened to me regarding my interests, he explained to me the differences between the cars, and he allowed me to choose a car to test drive. He did not try to push me to purchase a car nor to purchase a different, more expensive car. Once I decided to purchase, Haider made the process simple. He along with Patrick Allosso, the Finance Director, assisted me with signing all required paperwork and obtaining the car with the options I desired. It was late in the evening when I purchased my car so Haider worked with my insurance agent and made sure everything was ready for me to pick up my new car the very next day. I ended up purchasing the Toyota Corolla S Plus and I am beyond happy with my car. Haider and Patrick made me me love this dealership even more and now I will be recommending this dealership for service as well as purchases. I would totally recommend this dealership. As soon as I walked in I felt welcome and appreciated. Howie and Kathie were terrific to work with. They worked with me for 3 hours as I wasn't sure if I want to purchase or lease. After giving me all the facts they gave me some time to think about my options. I chose leasing which for me was perfect. Not for everyone I know but trust me when I tell you that this dealership will hold you hand through every step of the way to make sure that you are comfortable with the decision you make. I recently went out to purchase a Toyota 4Runner for my wife. I picked three Boston area Toyota dealers. My choice of contact was to utilize the internet at each dealership. Herb Chambers Boston was the first to contact me, and to follow up with me when I did not return the call. I eventually called to arrange an appointment, when i walked in I was greeted by Vander, the Digital Sales Manage and he escorted me to speak with Haider who was ready to show me everything that I requested, in fact they were prepared to offer me what I wanted, not what they wanted to sell. After a few days of comparing the deals with the other 2 dealers, I chose to work with Haider. There was no wearing out of the carpet from his sales desk to the Business Manager, in fact it took one trip and a handshake to get the deal done and the 4Runner ready for delivery. After doing my homework on the internet, Herb Chambers Toyota was the dealer that had what I wanted (a white Camry Hybrid LE) and willing to match my best price. I worked first via phone/email with Ian Loebis, then at the dealership Randy Fisher took great care of us. Randy is the rare salesman who is genuine and knowledgeable. After we all shook hands on the deal (and a great deal it was) there was no pressure to buy extras, although I did get a warranty. I am comfortable giving this dealership high marks, and it was worth the 3 hour round trip. No, I did not know anyone there personally and they didn't pay me to write this :)

We bought a Toyota Camry Hybrid in 2012 and were very pleased with it and our experience at Herb Chambers Toyota of Boston. Last month we had an appointment for service and while we were waiting we went to talk to "our" salesman. A few hours later we left having purchased a 2014 Toyota Camry Hybrid. "Our" salesman is Haider Amin. He is professional, knowledgeable and so easy to deal with, we never felt that he was pushing for the dealership rather than making sure we were satisfied with what we were getting, there was no pressure to buy a car, or to compromise what we wanted in one. I have always thought buying a new car was a PAINFUL experience, but not since dealing with Haider and Herb Chambers of Boston. I never thought I would be looking forward to buying another car!

I am a first time buyer, but have gone with friends and family during their vehicle purchases to other places. Herb Chambers Toyota of Boston was by far the most professional and courteous of all my experiences. They could not have been more accommodating and helpful throughout the whole process. Everything was explained well and deals and packages were described but I did not feel pressured. Justin Boivin actually drove an hour each way to help finalize the registration for the vehicle so I could drive home in the car I purchased that day. The pricing was very fair and from what I saw, all used the vehicles they had were in very good to excellent condition. I would highly recommend their services to any one that asked.

Although I don't feel comfortable leaving the name of my sales person. I can say this...She did not go above nor beyond. I put my cards on the table and told them what I expected and what I can afford the disappointing part of it... I was offered cars that I never cared for and a price out of my range. Knowledge and customer service is key she did not demonstrate neither, she hesitated a lot paused, sighed, did not seem like someone I would want to buy from. She lost me before she could start. She did not use her resources and was not eager. She just did not have that burst. I can't say that I would not recommend to herb chambers.....I just would not recommend sending your customers to her. I know that had she used her resources she could of got me into a car that I wanted. Please note that I am a current customer and Jeff was my sales rep he did an excellent job he went above and beyond. Waiting 7 hours was not a problem because he knew how to keep us entertained.

Everyone we dealt with at Herb Chambers Toyota of Boston was fantastic! We were very slow and browsed for a long time before finally purchasing a 2014 Highlander. We never felt pressured to make a decision right away at Herb Chambers. Other dealerships constantly told us "the deal expires today" and we never heard that at Herb Chambers. Everyone was very patient and friendly when we would visit the showroom. Kathie in sales was so nice and helped us pick the right options for us. Patrick in the business office made sure we understood all the financing and warranty options. He was so great to work with! Howie, the general manager, was very engaged and made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our multiple visits to the dealership. Once the car was ordered Anthony made sure we knew where the car was and when it would arrive. The prices at Herb Chambers were competitive but their customer service was far superior to the other dealerships we visited.

When I first walked in the dealership I knew exactly what I wanted a new 2014 Toyota Corolla L in black, Justin was quick to tell me everything about the Corolla while we walked to his desk. His confidence in his knowledge of the Corolla was amazing. This being my first car I was completely oblivious when it comes to vehicles but he made sure I understood all the details. Also I thought going in to a dealership for the first time that I would be taken advantage of, but it was the complete opposite. I didn't feel like I had to keep on guard. Mark was great too he made sure to let me know what all the paperwork was. While we conducted business I didn't feel like a huge money sign to him but a person. Herb Chambers Toyota Scion of Boston really does care that you get a vehicle that you want. Before leaving I made sure to grab a couple of Justin's business cards to give to my buddies that were interested in getting their cars.

I recently bought a Prius C at this dealership. I worked with Haider Amin and had a great experience. Haider was knowledgable about the car and other Toyota cars. He gave me a lot of useful information on the test drive without being too overbearing about making a sale. After the sale was made, he was in regular contact before I came to pick up the car and made me feel confident that everything was taken care of before I came to pick it up. I was also happy with my experience at Herb Chambers. It felt well organized and streamlined with financing and registration happening on site (maybe that happens at most big dealerships? This is only the second car I've ever bought). I can't comment on the service center as I haven't used it yet.

When the car I saw on the Internet and expected to purchase that day was unavailable, Michael patiently helped me find a different car that actually turned out to be a better value. As other reviewers have mentioned, Michael is very kind and thorough and made sure I knew every feature of my car before driving off the lot. In addition, even though working on a Saturday night, Pat the financing manager was efficient in getting me a great interest rate and loan to close the deal. My husband and I recently purchased a pre-owned 2010 Cx70 Volvo through the Costco auto buying program. When I first inquired about the program, I spoke at length with Jennifer Irving. She was knowledgeable, informative and a pleasure to speak with over the phone. My husband and I were very interested in the Volvo that we ultimately bought. She was able to locate our vehicle and Michael Pucciarelli was the one to bring it to the Herb Chambers at the Boston location for us to see. We came in this past Saturday and met with Michael. He was extremely professional, patient and kind. He took us on a lengthy test drive and made sure to give us each a chance to drive the vehicle. He gave us a brief history of Herb Chambers and the importance that Herb places on treating the customer well. When we came back to the dealership, we both knew that we wanted to purchase the vehicle. Michael made sure to have the car detailed and he even made sure to do a last minute safety check on the vehicle, even though an extensive check was already performed. We had our two daughters with us and he said that he wanted to ensure that the car was in tip top condition for them as well as for us. Michael spent a tremendous amount of time with us to make sure that we were in complete understanding of our transaction. He explained every single paper we signed and made sure to give us the opportunity to ask as many questions as we needed. We also dealt with Pat Allosso. He too was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. He even went out of his way to get our girls a few balloons. He was fast, efficient and a pleasure to work with all around. We will be more than happy to give our business to Herb Chambers of Boston again. We will certainly spread the word to our family and friends when they are in need of a new car. My sales consultant was Stanley Fevrier and he was very helpful and knowledgable about everything we wanted to know and things we didn't even know we wanted to know :) We originally wanted to buy and when we couldn't come to an agreement about price we were comfortable with, he offered some other options and clearly discussed the pros and cons. During the closing and final paperwork, I spoke with Li Zhang who was so pleasant and organized. He explained everything that I was signing and really spent an ample amount of time on each piece of paperwork even though it was after 9pm closing time and I was the last person there. I felt like the staff as a whole, not only wanted to get me the best deal, but they cared about my personal situation and what we could really afford. It wasn't a game to see how much money they could get out of us. It was a real professional experience that showed that they truly care about you as a person and not just a customer. Also, if you don't already know it, the waiting game a lot of people experience is a trick.. the more you wait, the better your chances are of caving or settling for the price they want! The longest time I waited here was maybe 15-20 minutes!! Don't give it another thought..if you're shopping for a new Toyota, there is no other place to visit...go to Herb Chambers Toyota of Boston- you'll thank yourself when you're done and not aggravated or annoyed with the service you received or the useless waiting they put you through!

I was referred to Jack Moran at Herb Chambers. I called ahead and he told me to come right down and he would see to it that I got a great deal. I was transferring out of a lease and wanted to down size from my current vechicle. Jack is the manager of the store so he asked salesman Chao Ma to show me around. Chao was very friendly and professional and took the time to answer any questions that I had. Jack kept checking in to make sure I was happy all around. I ended up buying a new Camry which I'm am thrilled with. I have been to many car dealerships over the years and this is by far the best experience I have ever had. I just brought home a Prius Plug in, and I love it! I was returning my 2010 Prius lease, and there wasn't a question where I would get my next car. What a wonderful team, of friendly, fair, honest, professionals. My sales person was Clyde, and he went out of his way to make sure everything went smooth, he made this process effortless, and hassle free, two words that you don't often hear when purchasing a car. Between myself, my husband, my mother in law, we have leased or purchased 6 cars between us, each and every transaction handled as great as the last. Add another 3 cars to that list, from close friends we have referred, all in the last 3 years. Ryan sold me my first car, and will always be my favorite in the Sales team for that reason, he has since been promoted to a manager position, which isn't a surprise. How wonderful is it, that we can also refer to the two men that run the finance department, Patrick and Howie, and also say how amazing they are to deal with. I have never had an experience buying a car be so wonderful, Honestly didn't know it was possible til coming to Herb Chambers Toyota, our family will only purchase our vehicles here. Even though I still have battle scars from my previous car buying experience at the "musician/car seller" in Norwood, Herb Chambers of Boston and their staff restored my faith in car dealerships. My wife and I planned on getting a car for quite some time now, and Giau helped us so much in finding the car we've been looking for. At first we sought for service from another dealer after hearing that they were offering the car we'd wanted, which was a Toyota Highlander 2013 in the color pearl, for a good price, but they failed to meet our expectations for the service we were hoping for. Not only did they fail to stay with the price they'd arranged for the car, they'd also told us they no longer had the color we'd wanted in stock and that we would need to pay extra to deliver a model in our desired color. After a first horrible experience with that dealer we thought our next would be the same, but Giau prove that theory entirely wrong. Giau provided the best service that we've ever received from not only any cars-salesperson but from any salesperson ever; and although we do not plan on getting another car anytime soon, we would love for whoever is looking to buy a car to speak to Giau because he will definitely make the process easy, friendly, and quick. We believe he did his job perfectly, and couldn't be happier with our new car. He will walk you through the whole process step by step in helping you with whatever he could, and will stand by your side until you are happy with your purchase. If only he weren't just a cars-salesperson, only then would be able to enjoy his amazing service for his customers again and again.

I went in to the dealership already aware of the car I wanted. I just wanted a little time and space to look at the different models, but for me, speed and ease of transaction were top priorities. The sales rep was extremely responsive to my specific, admittedly non-standard needs (had no interest in test-driving or considering factors other than mpg) and honored my time constraints. Within 2 lunch breaks I was able to go in and come out with a new car. I cannot say enough about how respectful, honest, and efficient everyone I dealt with was. I can very confidently say that I would not bother looking for another dealership. For as long as I live in the Boston area, I would use and recommend Herb Chambers' dealerships based on my first purchase with them. My sales guy was Giau Luong, Li Zhang handled the paperwork, and Howie Reske fielded my financing and random other questions. I'm sure everyone else is great too, but this lineup was my car-buying dream team. Good luck!

This was my second lease with Herb Chambers. This time I had the pleasure of working with Haider Amin. Haider was very professional, answered all my questions, and was patient as I made my decisions. I did not feel pressured and Haider and the other gentlemen and ladies that I worked with were all straightforward. No hidden costs, no surprises. I paid exactly what I expected and I got exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend Herb Chambers Toyota in general and the dealer Haider Amin specifically. If you can work with Haider I'm sure you'll have just as pleasant of an auto buying experience as I did.

I went to Herb Chambers Toyota of Boston looking for a new car with really good gas mileage. However, I love SUVs and was currently driving one, but thought a sedan would make more sense in regards to good gas mileage. I walked in and started looking around at the cars in the showroom and was greeted with a friendly smile and was asked what I was looking for. Ryan McDonnell was extremely helpful and asked exactly what I wanted in the car to get a better idea of what to show me. Once I told him what I wanted and was interested in the Camry, he brought me down to show me the new Camrys they had in stock and gave me all the information about it. When I sat in it, he asked what I thought, and all I could say was that it was nice but I didn't love it. I really wanted an SUV but thought it was a bad decision with the miles I travel for work. Ryan brought me over to a new RAV4 and told me the gas mileage was still really good and that if I really want an SUV, I shouldn't settle because I wouldn't be happy with my choice. He also explained that it was AWD which would help driving in all weathers for work and that whatever it didn't have I could add. Once I sat in it, I felt much better and more comfortable than I did in the Camry. Ryan then introduced me to Haider, who brought me on a test drive to see how I enjoyed the RAV4. Haider told me I could drive around as much as I wanted to get a good feel for the car, go on the highway and do some city driving, directing me with each turn. He also explained all the interior features and answered any and all questions I had with ease and friendliness. He never once asked me about whether I'd be purchasing the car, only how I liked it. I did not feel pressured at all. When the test drive was over, I sat down with both Haider and Ryan to go over all the information and I told them I wanted the car but needed to go over the price with my parents first and would most likely be back the next day to buy the car. They completely understood and did not push, but did recommend putting a small deposit down to hold the RAV4 since they had only two and I wanted a specific one. They printed out all the information with the prices laid out so I could easily go over them with my parents. The price was so great and I got a great deal on my trade in, that my parents approved quickly. When I returned the next morning, Haider and Ryan helped me right away and brought me over to Pat, who was expecting me, to do all the signing quickly. In the end, I am extremely happy with my new 2013 RAV4, and so grateful for Ryan telling me not to settle for a sedan. I absolutely recommend everyone to go to Herb Chambers Toyota of Boston!! Excellent customer service, excellent prices, and excellent staff!!

If you bought a brand new car and took it back here for service, then take it somewhere else!!! The service personnel once you walk in are not good at all! Only the service manager would offer his goodwill help under the 7 year/ 75,000 miles warranty!!! If you have a local mechanic that you trust then take it to him. Even the customer relations person is no good at all.

I had an excellent experience at the Herb Chambers of Alston. Everyone was extremely friendly and made the entire process so much smoother then I had expected (buying a car can be a difficult process, or so I thought) The car salesmen who took me out to test drive my dream car (Cadillac CTS) was extremely knowledgeable of the vehicle and answered all my questions with ease and assurance. When we returned back to the dealership I knew that I wanted the car, but was worried about the next step...FINANCING!! But I met with an extremely pleasant gentlemen, Patrick Alosso, and he made the whole process so smooth and comfortable. He also converted scary bank terms and numbers into easy figures that I could understand! I ended up with a great deal, and monthly payments that were exactly what I could afford. Overall the entire experience was amazing and I would recommend anyone to go and see Herb Chambers for their next vehicle.

I was referred by Jeff Davis the General Manager of Chambers Motorcars to Howie Reske, the General Manager of the Toyota division. I worked with him and Kathie Smith, my Sales Consultant. I was very pleased with the experience. I have owned many cars and dealt with people at other dealerships who had been very difficult to deal with as they were always "on" & trying to sell me things even after I experssed I had no interest in them. At Chambers, it was very different. They actually listened to what I wanted and addressed those needs in a pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient manner. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone I know.

I had wanted to buy Camry and found the process of selection and actual purchase easy and flawless and not a "pressure" situation. I have owned many cars and specifically dislike other salesmen who are always "selling". With this purchase I found that the actually listened to what I wanted and discussed it intelligently. I found them knowledgeable, informative and extremely pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend them.

I bought a Prius Plug-In and he did a fantastic job explaining to me all the small details that came with the vehicle and technology. He also did a great job in helping me set up the vehicle to my specifications after purchase. He made the entire process extremely easy from beginning to end. The General Manager, Howie Reske, was also a pleasure to work with. He ensured everything ran seamlessly and was extremely attentive to what we were looking for. This was the easiest car purchase I've ever made and will be undoubtedly be back if I'm in the market for another Toyota. I recommend this dealership to anyone.

Upon walking into this dealership the sales team listened to my wants/needs and were extremely helpful (I worked with Gus and Biola). Over the years I've bought many new cars and always hated the thought that it is time to go thru this painful proces. Because of my past experiences I knew that i don't have to go thru hours of negotiations with the sales person just to discover that a manager has to approve the deal first and that's why when I walked into the Toyota store in Allston I made sure to ask for a manager to talk to and save myself some valuble time. The dealership I'm refering to is Herb Chambers Toyota of Boston, the Gentelman that I delt with is Kal Nasser who happened to be the gerneral sales manager of the store. Kal greated me at the door with a big smile and welcomed me in, asked me a few questions to find out what my needs are and then asked one of his sales people to bring the car to the door for my test drive, when he said go ahead with the sales person for a test drive and I will discuss you financial options when you come back i thought here we go, passing me to the sales person but when I came back from the test drive he was waiting for me with three different options to pay for my car, after about five minutes of discussing the price he and I agreed to a number that we both felt is fair and about an hour later after visiting with the finace manager who did all the paperwork I was driving my new Camry home. Kal and his staff made it so easy for someone like me -who hates the pain of buying a car- to change my mind and think that it was rather a fun experience not to mention fast since I am a very busy individule with no time to spare. I found the perfect dealership in Herb Chambers Toyota of Boston and the perfect gentilman to deal with in Kal Nasser and I hope everyone reading this and thinking about buying a Toyota give Kal Nasser a chance and see what an easy and fast process not to mention fun he provides.

I bought my 2011 Corolla from this store back in September of 2011 and I have been having it serviced here ever since. The sales people were all friendly and helpful and they made sure I got a great deal when I bought the car. I writing the review now because I have now learned that the service department is just as great as the sales department. Richard always makes sure I am taken care of and my car is always ready and waiting for me when I pick it up after work. Of course the car is new so there hasn been anything wrong with it yet but he always makes sure they check anyway. I sure if something did go wrong they would tell me right away. The only thing I would advise everyone to do if you are going to buy a car is call first, especially to ask about parking. There is some parking for customers, but it not immediately obvious where it is so sometimes you end up on the street with a 2-hour limit.

I just drove my Toyota Camry 2012 home today--I had the best car buying experience ever at Herb Chambers Toyota of Boston! General Manager Howie Reske was professional, helpful, knowledgeable and real. Salesperson Doug Courchesne answered every question (and I had a lot!), was patient, helpful and not afraid to make a recommendation based on my input about the right car for me. I ended up with it, and am very satisfied with the whole experience--from the greeter Yari, to the Finance Manager Li Zhang, Patrick (also finance)--all were extremely helpful and easy to work with. I highly recommend them, and would go back in a heartbeat--hopefully in at least a decade from now! Thank you all ~

I walked into Herb Chambers Toyota Boston with the intent to look at some cars I found on the website and maybe test drive one. I ended up finding a fairly priced Rav4 that had low mileage which was my big sticking point. While there were a few glitches along the way that were largely based on bad timing because of a long holiday weekend, I left the dealership this evening in my Rav4 and felt extremely satisfied with the customer service I received in correcting the few errors. Howie Reske and Patrick Allosso were not only spot on in helping to smooth over some glitches, but they were extremely attentive to my time and getting everything taken care of for me in a timely fashion. I would absolutely recommend this dealership, specifically because of how fantastic the people running it are. You can find sales staff that aren't always on their A game everywhere, but you certainly can't find a place being run with such exceptional customer service etiquette to make up for any minor lapses.

I worked with Joe Blake for my first car purchase. Despite my apprehension at diving into what is generally considered a difficult, high stress proposition, Joe's easy-going and friendly nature quickly put my mind at ease. Joe was both very informative, and upfront about the pros and cons of the Prius I was purchasing. At no point did I feel pressured or uncomfortable about the process, rather I felt I was given enough reliable information to steer the process in the direction I wanted to go. All said and done, it was an excellent first experience that landed me a great car at a great price.
