Purchased a car for the first time with Hertel. As a new car owner, I was really nervous going through with it, but Lee was such a patient and kind person. He never made me feel pressured, he was very transparent about everything going in, and like others also mentioned, very knowledgeable about his inventory. I ended up financing with an outside source and Lee never discouraged it like other car dealerships have done in the past with me. The process was super easy and within 30 minutes after getting approved, I drove off with my new vehicle and couldn’t have been happier with my choice to do business with Hertel Auto Group. I highly recommend this business and if I decide to buy another vehicle in the future this is the first place I will look at.

Noah is awesome and a great business leader who truly understands top notch service. He went out of his way to answer my questions and made a video walk around of the vehicle for me. I highly recommend these guys as you won't be disappointed.

While I'm satisfied with my car I'm not satisfied with the service received. We had to call numerous times to know what was going on with the tags even though we were assured we would get a call about the information but that person was conveniently never in the office. I would only advise to do business here if your local so you would be able to stay on top of it.

I traveled a very long way to buy a vehicle from this company. Traveling back to North Carolina I had a some problems on the way home. I called the dealership and they immediately reacted and took responsibility. Instead of telling me it's my problem. They went Far and Beyond the Call of Duty with helping me making it home safe. Wow and they did just that. I would recommend anyone looking for a vehicle, to start right here before looking anywhere else. I want to compliment Lee Wicker at Hertel for a very outstanding purchase. He was totally fair in the negotiations on the price my trade. He alerted me to anything he knew that was done to the Avalanche, including repairs. I was able to make an intelligent decision. I would recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a vehicle as the transaction was handled well from start to finish. No high pressure, and I felt I was treated as an intelligent buyer from the beginning.

My husband and I had been internet searching the usual large preowned dealerships when we came across an interesting vehicle at Hertel. Not knowing anything about the company, we decided to check there first. Turns out we had to look no further: easy-going, knowledgable Lee heard our needs, making recommendations we had not even considered. We were encouraged to take an extended test drive, and bought the vehicle the following day. Fair prices for a small fleet of quality preowned cars. Glad we stayed with the 'mom and pop' business...would purchase there again in a heartbeat.
