I have never owned a Honda in my life, but I can say that I will probably never stop shopping at this location. I began working with Honda Cars of Rock Hill several years ago with a very low credit score. I keep coming back because, even with a not so good credit score, they never said no. After 10+ years of hard work and cleaning up my credit I was just able to purchase myself my first new vehicle and help my son get a used vehicle. The purchase of these two cars make a total of 5 cars I have purchased from Honda Cars of Rock Hill and honestly I will always use them for any future purchases I may need. Finding great customer service is hard to come by and they both proved that they know what great customer service really is. They take care of you no matter what the situation is and really work to give you the best deal they can and not many dealerships can say that. In the past, the sales and finance team at this dealership provided me options when no one else would and for that I will forever be grateful! Today, I can say that because of my hard work to improve my credit score and their continued focus on customer service they were able to provide me an option where I could purchase a brand new car when I didn't think that it was even possible...Thanks to everyone at Honda Cars of Rock Hill and a special thanks to Jim and Matt... I recently went in to buy a car at Rick Hendrick's Rock Hill Honda and was approved. It was on a Saturday. We were given the car and told that all the tags and paperwork would be forward to us. I was so excited. My first new car that I would finance on my own.3 weeks later, (this past Wednesday) I get a call that my financing fell through and I had to return the car to the dealership. I was crushed. But even more so to find out that they had already sold my trade-in. The night before I returned the car, I diligently looked through the paperwork, seeing if their were any loopholes to work to my advantage. I didn't find any. But I did see in paragraph 4 on the back of one of my pages that they did have to return my trade-in at return of their vehicle, Thursday. So that at least provided some comfort. So I was shocked when Matt Donovan, financial advisor, told me my car was gone. I politely showed him paragraph 4 and the look on his sheet white face was of terror. He stepped out of the room and came back in a few minutes later and suddenly they had relocated my car. At another dealership in Statesville. They had bought it at an auction and drove it up there to sit on their lot. They were not supposed to take my car off the lot until all sales were through with my financing, per the contract. Andy, the head financial advisor said that they would have my car back today, Friday. I called all day today and left numerous voicemails. No one would respond. So finally I went to the dealership. Matt finally came and we got the ball rolling on getting my car back. He went outside and got it for me and drove it to the front.I got in the car and my windshield is completely broken, my drivers side door paneling is ripped, the window is stuck at 4 inches open, the cruise control light is stuck on, and my aftermarket radio that I paid 300 dollars for is fried.I went back inside to question them about the condition of my car. Andy told me that they didnt have anything to do with the condition od the car and he is free to move it wherever he wants. They told me they would call the police if I didn't immediately leave the lot.That's how you do business Mr. Hendrick? Give people back their cars in worse conditions than they were sold to you? You were going to give me 1000 for it, now I'll be lucky to get 200."Spot deals" are illegal in most states. SC should be one of them. I would have much rather have been told to come back on another day than have been put through what I've gone through.

I went in to just look and wound up driving off with my new Odyssey a few hours later. Steve Morris was the best sales associate ever - not only was he extremely laid back and knowledgeable, but he also went above and beyond to entertain my children while we were there. In reviewing the final paperwork she was pleasant, friendly, and did not try to push extra products on us. I received a flyer in the mail that said, "110% of Kelly Blue Book Trade Value," for my car and then showed a price on the 2016 Civic that looked more like a lease price. I had been thinking of downsizing my car (Chrysler 300 with a Hemi) and my son's college car needed to be replaced as well. I figured I could accomplish both for about the same payment. It was enough to get me in to the dealership. Our Sales Consultant was Jay Edwards and I have to say, from the moment we got there, he was excellent. I'm a sales manager myself, so I always like dealing with someone who knows their product well. Jay was very knowledgeable, taking the time to explain and demonstrate the different features of the vehicle. We also dealt with Peter Pistone the Sales Manager. It took some negotiating to get there, but Peter was able to put together a deal, giving top dollar for my car and two well equipped 2015 Honda Civics (EX) with a lot of features we wouldn't have gotten on the base 2016 Civic LX, for right around the same payment I was making on my Chrysler. Win, Win.

Buying a new car is one of our least favorite things to do. We just bought our first Honda, a new Odyssey, and it was the least painful car buying experience we have ever had. Our salesman, Steve Morris, was fantastic. He was not pushy at all, but was very friendly and helpful. We almost bought a vehicle at another dealership the day before, but due to a terrible experience we walked away and went to Honda. We will be sure to return to him when it's time to replace our other car as well.

I came to Honda of Rock Hill to trade in my older Honda for a new one. I was very specific about the type and color of car I wanted, but it still somehow got missed when I came in to pick up the car. I was disappointed, HOWEVER, Andy Hicks went totally above and beyond by getting me a new body style with the color I wanted and was willing to work with me so that I left happy. He was able to turn my experience from a so-so one to a great one, and because of this, I will give them another try if I am in the market for another Honda in the future. Fred Woodfin was also very helpful and knowledgeable, and Jimmy Colon was friendly and I felt as though he genuinely cared about me and my experience. I also worked with Shawn in finance who was extremely knowledgeable and prompt with his answers to any questions I had. Although I wish some things would have been handled differently, my overall experience was better than average because of the effort they took to rectify my situation. You don't find that everywhere!

I took my 2013 Honda in for an oil change, and went home in a 2016 Honda Civic EX-T!! I wasn't pressured at all. I explained to my awesome salesman what my concerns were regarding my lease, and the best option for me was to end the lease and finance a new car. He showed me a beautiful Civic EX-T that I fell in love with! The price was right, and he figured up a monthly payment that I was very happy with! I would definitely recommend Honda Cars of Rock Hill to my friends and family. And if you have young children...Bill was excellent with my son! When I was busy in the Finance Office, Bill entertained my four year old son with a ride around the parking lot on a golf cart!

I had in mind to purchase a newer Honda for a few years. After saving for a down payment I took my business to Honda Cars of Rock Hill, despite living in Charlotte, NC and having other, closer dealerships to choose from. The reason for this is my family has done business with HCoRH for many years, and we have always been satisfied. I was currently driving a Honda Civic that I did NOT purchase from HCoRH but I used them for maintenance on the vehicle because they provide such stellar customer service. I arrived at the dealership on a Saturday morning and was greeted by Steve Morris. He was very patient with me as I went through the test drive process of three cars: the HR-V, CR-V, and Pilot. Going for the test drives felt like taking a quick drive with a friend; he was easy to chat with, knowledgeable about the vehicles, and all around a very easy-going salesman. After deciding on the CR-V, we talked numbers. The initial numbers were a little more than I had planned so I asked for a few days to mull it over. At this point, most dealerships would put the pressure on, but not Steve. He completely understood and sent me on my way with all the information I'd need to make a sound decision. I cannot emphasize enough how much this means, as a consumer, to NOT BE PRESSURED into buying something.The next day, after reviewing my budget, I reached out to Steve with a few counteroffers. He got back to me within a few hours and together, we reached a number that was agreeable for both myself and HCoRH. This was on a Sunday, so they needed time to get the car I wanted from another dealership (they had the make/ model I wanted on site but not the color). We agreed to meet Monday evening and finalize everything. I went back to the dealership Monday. There was a bit of a delay in my car arriving but nothing too serious and it allowed us time to finalize the paperwork. The thing I appreciate most about this specific part of the sale is when Steve, along with Shelby Mayfield, explained finance options to me and helped me understand why it might be a better route. I had initially planned to pay for the car outright but they helped me get an interested rate that was competitive enough to justify financing it (I'll pay LESS in interest on the loan than my bank will pay me in interest on money in my account so it was a no-brainer in my case). I 'splurged' a little and purchased a few additional maintenance packages, and speaking from experience, I can say they truly stand behind their maintenance work. Around 8:30 pm Monday I sat in my shiny, new, 2016 CR-V. Steve showed me the ins and outs of the technology, and made sure I felt comfortable before hitting the road. It's only been a few days since I've had the car but I've always driven Honda so I know I'll be more than satisfied and will be able to drive this car for many years to come. I could not be happier with the customer service I received throughout the purchasing process. If you are even considering a new Honda, this is the place to go. They understand that purchasing a car is a big decision and are more than willing to give you the information, and time necessary to make a decision that is best for you. If you can work with Steve, I highly suggest you do so. I am sure the other salespeople are just as great but I can say with certainty Steve is wonderful to work with. I am 45 years old. Bought roughly 10 new vehicles in my life. They have always been the same. You prepare yourself to be pounced on before you turn off your car. Get fed the overly fake "niceness" looking at the cars.... then they turn into something else when you sit in their office. You typically get annoyed by the 3rd bad offer they come to you as they waste your entire day.We got none of that at this dealership. Jay Edwards waited for me to come to him. He did not coax me into the highest priced car. He listened to what I wanted, and left it there. I went in on a Wednesday, and told him I wanted my wife there before making a decision, and again, no pressure. I locked in my surprisingly great price with Mr. Pistone, the sales manager via email on a 2016 Honda Odyssey EX-L. We could only come on a Sunday, which was Jay's day off, and he still came in to get the deal done. After the financing was done, Jay helped us take the car seats out of our trade-in, and made sure we felt comfortable with all the new features before we left. Our whole process was roughly 2.5 hours as opposed to an entire day in previous occasions.Very happy and satisfied customers, and will buy from them again in the future.

My wife and I bought a 2016 CR-V EXL with navigation. We wanted white with black leather interior. It turned out that there were only 2 available in the Southeast US! Steve Morris and Pete Pistone made some phone calls and got us one of those 2 cars. They sent someone to Raleigh and brought it back for us. In addition, Steve is awesome! He spent a lot of time making sure that we understood how to operate everything in the new vehicle...including the navigation system. I went to HCOR in search of a 2003 honda due to my returning to college. Mr. Morris introduced himself And before I could say anything he ( Morris) did the smartest thing a man in sales could do. He ignored me completely and concentrated his full attention on my wife. It was wonderful the way he made Angela feel at ease and even at times empowered with the situation. My negotiation skills were now reduced to three phrases.. yes dear, if that's what you want, and, if it makes you happy. Do I think I could have gotten a better deal on trade in and payments? Maybe but Steve Morris made this such an impact on making this experience positive and pleasant it was worth any extra expense to see Angela smile happily as she ( not me ) negotiated for her new car. Tim Oakes was my salesman and he made my experience seamless from beginning to end. He made sure to provide the highest level of service and ensured that I was buying the exact car that I wanted. He took the time to show me various models and explained to me the difference between each model level. He even took the time to understand my personal situation and made sure that my payment options worked for my specific financial situation. I have never had a car salesman take the time to help me make a decision on a personal level. Additionally, when I came back a couple of days later to purchase my car, he took the time to give me a tour of the dealership. As a female, that really meant a lot to me. It made me feel much more comfortable to know exactly where to go for parts, service, etc. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had! 30 minutes after submitting my online application showing interest in a new car I received a call from Jim Scott, a sales consultant at Honda Cars of Rock Hill, he asked me about what kind of cars I was interested in and assured me to stop by and take a look and I'd find the car I would like. After test driving three cars I found the car I loved and went back to the dealership two days later after thinking it over to make a purchase. Within two hours I was driving my new car home. The experience as a whole was great and I did not feel hounded by car salesmen like at other dealerships. Jim even filled the almost empty gas tank up for me before I left.

We left the dealer with a lot of good information and went around to other dealers for comparison. We made our way back to Honda Cars of Rock Hill. We ultimately decided on a Honda CR-V and are extremely happy with our purchase. Shelby Mayfield was very helpful and knowledgeable. He even explained the cons and PROs (emphasis added since this is rare) of other makes and models to ensure we made the right choice in car for us. He even followed up after the sale to make sure we knew how to work the interior settings and enjoyed the car overall. My husband and I arrived at Honda of Rock Hill Tuesday evening with a "well, let's just see what they tell us" mentality. We were rather upside down on a vehicle that had not held its value at all and that we owed roughly twice as much as it was worth. Fearful of the worst, we brought it in and wanted to know what our real options were for trading it in (aka, getting rid of it). We were greeted by a warm receptionist, and within seconds were shaking the hands of our sales representative, Mr. Jay Edwards. After leaving our car with the appraisal department, and sitting with Jay reviewing our options for another used car (we asked to look at the used cars, we never thought we'd be able to buy new), things weren't looking great. But, the gentleman working with our trade in offer and credit applications patiently worked his magic and Jay worked persistently to get us a better deal. They kept our budget and down payment concerns in mind. To our delight, he and the finance department helped us qualify for a brand new car (that would absorb some of our negative equity) with payments in the range of what we had been asking. They were able to take our very negative equity trade in, help us into a beautiful, reliable, brand new Honda Civic, with similar payments to what we already had! We got a dependable, classy looking Honda with a great reputation, lifetime warranties and extended service programs, all for a payment we could definitely live with (shout out to Paul Beckman for helping with all that paperwork). This beat the pants off of our previous visions of yet another used car! They worked with us and explained each step of the process, and we were so appreciative of the time and effort they put in to give us a value that far exceeded our expectations. Jay was personable, professional, and very matter of fact. It was a refreshing experience for a young couple wary of the typical salesman pitch. I would highly recommend Honda of Rock Hill to anyone looking for a no nonsense car buying experience. And, when you go, ask for Jay.

From the second I stepped foot on the lot until the moment I drove off, the experience was top notch! I was warmly greeted by Jerry Whitehead as I approached the front doors. He immediately made me feel welcomed and was genuine in his desire to help me out. Jerry was honest and upfront from the get go. After listening to my wants and needs, he showed his expertise by delivering the exact car I had in mind. I soon met Andy Hicks, whom also did everything in his power to make me feel at ease while the trade in process started. Joel Suggs also ensured my experience was stellar. Every detail on the process was clearly explained and at no time did I feel any pressure. This was literally no hassle. These guys are so professional, it changed my whole perspective on the car buying experience. In addition to Jerry and Andy, a gentleman named Russ took the time to come over and introduce himself. He congratulated me on my new car and I could tell he was sincerely happy for me. Other various members of the staff offerred to get me something to drink. It was apparent that Honda Cars of Rock Hill is a team oriented work environment and that definitely leads to a great car buying experience. Overall, I can't say enough good things about my experience with Jerry, Andy, Joel and the entire store. I know my new Accord will last me quite sometime but when I need a new car, I know where I'll be returning!!!

I requested that Honda of Rock Hill obtain for me a White 2016 Pilot EX AWD w/ Honda Sensing. Russ assured me he would get that exact vehicle and told me in advance it would arrive sometime this week. Russ called the day it was ready. Wesley lied to me in order to get me to drive 2.5hours one-way to come in and make me feel obligated to get the car once I got there, but I refused and wasted over 6 hours including travel time to get quoted over $4000 higher in person than over the phone AND the car was missing a $2500 option that their website said it had.

I got tinting done on my windows and I was given a loaner car for the day; and now my car is so much better. Jim was always informative and made sure I was happy with my choice.I was waiting to see Jim(who was busy with another customer) and I was sitting at his desk I heard another salesman complaining that Jim Scott always has customers waiting for him and he doesn't understand why. I will tell you why, because Jim is polite and not overbearing, he is a great guy to work with. He didn't push me to get something I did not want or try to change my mind when I decided.

I am so happy to write this review. For so many years I dreaded the experience that was to come when entering a car dealership. Today I experienced honesty, fairness, patience and total understanding. Jim Scott is by far the best auto salesman I have ever dealt with. He listened to what my needs are, understood my financial situation having, recently become a widow at 57, and truly cared about making this new car purchase happen; the best way it could for my personal situation. There was no high pressure, no intimidation tactics, no bull. I am home, happy with my new CRV and still amazed at what a great experience I had today. I have already contacted family members to tell them how wonderful Jim Scott is and how impressed I am with him and Honda of Rock Hill. I also had the pleasure of meeting with Philip to discuss warranties, etc , and he , too, was pretty much straight up about what my needs and concerns might be in the future with caring for and servicing my new car. Mine was a two part transaction, with trading in my late husband's beloved Mini Van and purchasing something newer and smaller. I experienced total fairness with both transactions and pricing. I did alot of online research before going into the dealership, to educate myself. Jim and I spoke together about information I had gathered, as if one friend speaking to another. I initially looked at a Honda Civic Coupe earlier this summer. I had seen one in my parking garage at work and really wanted it. It reminded me so much of my first car, a 1989 Honda Prelude! I took pictures with my phone and brought them in to Steve at Honda Cars of Rock Hill. Steve was great. He looked at the car photos and matched it up to what Honda had available. He explained all the features and pricing and took me on a test drive. At that time we decided not to do anything because we already had one extra car and we planned on giving that to our daughter when she turned 16. So I told Steve we planned to wait awhile. He was very patient and understanding. Then as things usually happen, I was in a car accident and that older car we had was a total loss. I called Steve back and he worked his magic and found me the exact car I wanted from a dealership near Virginia and had it brought here to Rock Hill for me. I adore my new car and am so happy to have worked with Steve. Even though we didn't purchase the first time because of our circumstances, his professionalism and kindness made him the first person we turned to when we needed a car.

I RECENTLY HAD SOME WARRANTY WORK DONE ON MY 2014 HONDA PILOT AND WENT AHEAD AND HAD THE CAR DETAILED FOR $150. WHEN I WENT TO PICK IT UP IT LOOKED TERRIBLE AND THEY TOOK IT BACK FOR A SECOND CLEANING. ONCE I GOT IT HOME I TOOK A LITTLE MORE TIME LOOKING AT IT AND AFTER CLEANING ALL THE LEFT OVER WAX OFF, THE BLACK SPOTS OFF THE SEATS FROM THE CARPET CLEANING AND ALL THE LINT OFF THE DOOR PANELS AND WINDOWS I REALIZED I SHOULD HAVE TOOK IT SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR THE CLEANING. I JUST DIDN'T REALIZE I HAD TO CLEAN IT AGAIN AFTER PAYING $150. I went to look at new cars today. I have shopped at Honda Cars of Rock Hill, SC, for many years. I have tolerated some rude sales consultants and some know it all types. I was delighted today while working with Steve Morris. Steve never pressured me, showed respect, accepted being a partner with me. I decided to trade in my 2012 Honda for something my dog would fit into, I loved the CR-V and so will my dog. I found an Accord online at Honda Cars of Rock Hill and sent an email and the next morning Al LaPorta was in contact with me. They even provided complete history of the car with the carfax details and perfectly explained and compared with the pros and cons to other models. Honda of rock hill offered excellent customer service from the moment I walked Inthe door. As soon as I entered I was most immeadiately greeted and asked if I needed help. I was lead to an excellent salesman named Tim and a sales manager named Russ who helped me find the perfect car at the right price. They allowed me to test drive mutliple different cars and allowed me ample time to make my decision without feeling rushed or pressured. Then when it came time close the deal I was introduced to the sales manager, Andy, who was extremely helpful and made me feel at ease about the purchase and commitment I was making. When I expressed doubt he adjusted the deal so it worked for both parties while simultaneously reminding me that There was no pressure.

Wasn't crazy about the 2016 body style so I was in the market to hunt down a new or barely used 2015 Pilot. Previously owned 4 cars in my lifetime - all of which were Hondas. It was a no-brainer that number 5 was going to be a Honda as well. I stopped in on a Friday to browse, and on Saturday got a call back from Hendricks that a barely used 2015 EX-L came in for a 2016 trade. This was an immaculate 2015 with only 9800 miles. I want to THANK Andy Hicks (who orchestrated and executed this entirely pleasant buying experience), Paul Beckman (who stayed 2 hours late last night to close my deal), and Al Laporta (who willingly reached out to help an electronically illiterate Honda owner sync her smartphone, set up her music, and learn all the technological bells and whistles on the dash). I walked away last night feeling like a WINNER... How, you ask? 1) I was offered more for my trade-in than what online research estimated. 2) The 2015 purchase price was on the lower end of what online research estimated (which only had a variance of approx. $1500 between low-high figures). 3) I didn't like my interest rate at first - so they lowered it .5%, no questions asked and no hassle. 4) I found a small dent in the bumper upon inspecting and Andy said he'd take care of it and to just call and schedule an appointment - no questions asked. 5) Added bonus of 2 (not one) complimentary Honda key chains given to us by Andy (because my 11 year old needed his "own". I can honestly say that Andy made this experience incredible. Whatever I asked for, Andy delivered - with a SMILE. True customer service that you just can't find anywhere. I hope he is still there in 10 years when I am looking to retire our 2015. Thanks again Andy, Paul and Al. You're great at what you do and keep up the great work! I wanted to trade in my 10-year old Pilot for a little smaller SUV. I've had great experiences with Hondas so the CR-V had caught my eye. My dialogue initially started out via an internet inquiry where I connected with Al Laporta. So glad I did! Upon arriving to the dealership we were warmly greeted by other sales guys who got us to Al. Through the buying process, which was made very simple and short, Al answered all questions and made it so easy to make the decision--I wound up getting a new CR-V. Both Al and Fred Woodfin (Finance) were absolutely terrific to work with --very patient and personable. My husband wound up trading in his BMW for a used Accord so 2 hours after the dealership closed, we both drove off in our vehicles of choice. The service post-sale has been good as well--needed to bring the CR-V in to get a spoiler added and the service department ROCKS (Jillian)! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Honda Cars of Rock Hill and seek out Al Laporta--he's a genuine guy who will work with you to get you what you want.

My wife & I were in the market for a Honda Odyssey - expecting twins, not a van. After getting fed up with the spoiled salesmen on highway 74, we were put in contact with Mike Easly by recommendation. We did our research & found a van the boss would drive, 2012 burgundy EX-L Odyssey. Within 6 hours they met our demands & had us out the door. I have purchased a total of 4 cars from Honda Cars of Rock Hill in the past 10 years, 2 of which were brand new. I have always had wonderful experiences from the salespeople all the way to the service techs. Last Tuesday, my husband, two babies and I again returned to HCoRH to buy a larger vehicle than my 2008 CRV. We had to decide between an Odyssey and a Pilot. Ultimately, we went with the 2011 Pilot EX, as it had all of the things that I required of a car for a fair price. Our salesman was not pushy and allowed me to take the car overnight to ensure that I would love it. When I returned the next day, I was hooked on the Pilot; however, there were a few issues that needed repair, as is to be expected with used cars. The experience could have gone south at this point,and at one point, it felt very frustrating, but Andy Hicks stepped in to assist with all aspects of the deal. I can not say enough wonderful things about Andy. He took time and became personally vested in the repair work and buying experience. He even helped me move the giant double jogging stroller into my new car. He ensured that all of the work was done in a timely and quality manner, as well as answered all of my questions and communicated regularly with me regarding the progress of the work being done. Andy is very personable and takes pride in his dealership, as well as the products they sell. I have always and will continue to recommend Honda Cars of Rock Hill to family, friends and colleagues. I had a two week timeframe to find a sedan, and was not particularly hopeful I would get what I wanted. I fully understood everything that we discussed, and he was able to tack on a warranty that fit within what I could afford. After giving lots of thought about trading my 2012 Ford Escape to a larger vehicle, and comparing the Pilot to the Ford Explorer, I decided on the Pilot. So I found the phone number for Honda of Rock Hill. I made contact with Mr. Joel Suggs, who immediately explained what was available at the dealership. I arrived at the dealership and immediately greeted by a sales person named Steve. I then met Pete Pestone who welcomed me into the dealership to go over the options available to determine the price. I was so impressed with the facility and the friendliness of all the personnel working there. I was explained the pricing by Joel Suggs, and it was even better than what I had anticipated. Steve and Pete were so patient while I was deciding between the color of white or grey, etc. I am an old man and for the first time, and after buying several cars, I felt no pressure from anyone to buy the vehicle from the dealership. It was such a pleasant experience, and I want to thank Joel, Pete, Mike, Steve and the financing department for being so patient and friendly to me.

My wife and I were very excited to buy our first car. We decided on a Honda Odyssey. We met a nice salesman and talked about our options. We ended up buying a 2006, in 2012. Within 2 months the tires needed to be replaced. We then moved across the country to Utah. We got a flat tire on a snowy cold day and there was no spare even though their inspection said there was one. Then within the year of purchase the transmission went cost us almost $3000 to repair. We moved back to SC and went to the dealership and to tell them we never got a spare tire. They said we took to long to let them know and didn't want to help us. (We were 2100 miles away from them so we were out of luck.) Then power steering pump and water pump and something else I can't remember, $1300+ then the crankshaft pulley. $700+. And a lot of minor things that should not have happened within 2 years of owning it. I know it was used and some of it expected but all in all, we've spent almost as much fixing our van as it is worth. We will NEVER go back to Honda of Rock Hill. Worst experience ever!!!

We came down from Huntersville in August and got two Accords, a Sport sedan and a coupe. I stopped in Tuesday to have some work done to the coupe and was talking to Wes, Andy, Russ and Pete about trading one of the cars for a CRV. They couldn't get the numbers where I was comfortable but Wes called me again this morning and said they were working on it. They worked really hard to get us where we wanted to be on the payment and we picked up the CRV this evening. I had a bad experience I checked my own credit online and printed off I had all 3 credit reports and I had a trade in that which I knew would be a little hard to do since I only had it for almost a year however when I came in I was told my credit score was a 469 I asked to view my credit report that Honda Cars of Rock Hill, the salesman went into the finance room and came out and stated well you have a lot of medical bills on your credit I said ok can I view it he never did allow me to see it. Again I checked my credit when I got back home I am like why am I not seeing a 469 and as I told the salesman how is that my credit score is lower now and when I got my vehicle it was higher and I have made every payment on time then he asked did I want to put down 6,000 the remaining balance that would be owed on the vehicle I was going to trade. I am have called a manager and left a message in regards to this lie of my credit score being 469 I know that my credit is not I PULLED and another dealership did as well I pulled all three and he would never show me the report. I feel like this be honest and say this is the credit score we want and this is not the appropriate time to trade your vehicle however to lie to me is not the way the only reason I did not flip was due to the fact I had my son and nephew with me. I am fair person and TO BE LIED to is not the way but in the end I was able to get another HONDA from Honda dealership in Charlotte NC. I can only tell you about my experience and it was the best at all hopes this help.

Long story short, I went to get a Civic Si, which Honda cars of Rock Hill had one of two I found that were new in Charlotte. Within 2 hours of pulling into the dealership, Jim had let me do a test drive for a long enough period of time to ensure I loved the car, financed the car, got it cleaned up, agreed on the price, and did all of the paperwork. HC of RH went above and beyond when it came to earning my business. My wife and I have extremely hectic schedules and 2 very young children. HC of RC allowed us to test drive a vehicle with no pressure, and were very understanding when we were not able to work on a deal that same day. We brought a trade which we bought from the dealership several years back.Steve Morris was our rep and I discussed a very straightforward approach and that I did not want all of the "drama". The drama actually came from us who could not decide on a color.They were great especially Steve as he listened patiently and tried to help us come to a comfortable decision. I visited the dealership after hearing radio advertisements and what others were saying about the service, selection and price. Upon arrival, I met Brad Foust who was very professional and polite. Brad took the time to let me test drive a vehicle and answer all my questions. I only had intentions of looking to educate myself for a purchase in approximately 6 months. However, Brad and team were very genuine and I never felt any pressures. They were very fair on my trade in and was able to agree on a price in just a few minutes. I recently purchased a new Honda CRV and added on many accessories. I dreaded coming back to have accessories installed because I am so busy but before I could even discuss it with the salesmen, he called the service department and confirmed that all the accessories were IN STOCK and would be installed the SAME day!! This never happened at the Toyota dealership...ever! I had a ton of accessories installed in less than 1.5 hours. The waiting room was comfortable with free WIFI, T.V., Starbucks coffee and fresh popcorn. The staff is also very professional and friendly.

I was looking for a specific car and luckily Honda is good about making their cars with standard packages. That means they all cost the same. So the only difference in pricing comes down to wether the dealer wants to screw you on price or not. So first price was way high. Charging me extra for standard stuff that other dealers don't charge for. Like Nitrogen on the tires. Well that's BS. Comes standard. They didn't even have a secondary sticker, holy cow. The next price would not match another dealer by a whopping 800 bucks. Later dude. I don't know how they stay in business. Stay away from these guys, they are only worried about taking your money. Highest price of 5 surrounding dealers on the exact same car.

We decided that after several months of information gathering, referals, reviews and recommendations, we would take a trip to this dealership (hour and a half drive) to look at a certified car for my wife. After calling the dealership to inquire if the car would be there if we took the drive, I was set up with Jerry Whitehead. Jerry actually sits close to the front door, and thats probably by design, because he was a pleasure to talk to and do business with. The service was excellent. The price was great. They were very patient and there was zero pressure to buy. We spoke with Mike Maiden, who was very knowledgeable and detailed. Overall the experience was excellent. They even delivered the car to us an hour and a half away the next day. I have not personally purchased many cars from dealerships, but i know value and I know this industry (i work for a finance company). This dealership lived up to the reviews, referals and recommendations that we recieved and read about, and we're very happy that we chose to do business here.

I began my car shopping online and submitted a request for a Honda Fit. At the time, I was specifically looking for a 13 Fit Sport but before driving 40 minutes to the dealer I wanted to confirm they had the vehicle in inventory. Being a frequent traveler, my radio has often been a lifesaver. Recently my young daughter left the ignition on in my 2008 Acura and caused the battery to die. After jump starting the car I discovered the radio did not work and also required a code to re- activate. While I appreciate the anti- theft measures that Acura took in suspending my radio, my traveling partner (radio) was now gone and I had no idea how to re-activate it. My initial draw to this dealership was from an internet ad on the Honda Cars of Rock Hill website for a '13 Accord Coupe LX-S, manual transmission. Since manual transmissions are rare in Accords, I decided to visit the dealership and take a test drive. Sale Associate Bruce Rudd was excellent to work with as he was courteous, professional, relaxed, and personal. Within an hour of the test drive, Bruce and other associates were working with me to provide the best offer possible. I was feeling a bit under the weather and unsure about purchasing the Accord since my purpose was to simply test drive it. I was advised I could take the Accord home to drive it more and make sure I liked it. Once I drove the car home, I was sold. Unfortunately, I felt very bad the following day and was concerned Bruce would be calling to finalize the sale or have the car returned. Thankfully, he was very understanding and said that whenever I felt better, we could resume discussing the sale of the Accord or drop it off. I felt a bit better by early evening and decided to finalize the sale of the Accord. Bruce and the rest of the sales team made every effort to move the process along quickly and smoothly. I was greeted in a friendly manner by Mike Shaw when searching for a vehicle. While searching for a used vehicle I wasn't able to find what I wanted with all features I wanted. We were in the market for a used 8 passenger mini-van. At the time, we had no experience with the Odyssey. But we kept our options open and decided to explore it anyway. This dealership had a '05 Touring model on the lot for sale that had over 120k miles, but was in very good condition and brand new tires. We noted it didn't have the 8th passenger seat, however the salesman comforted us by saying it would be no problem to install the extra jump seat and belt which he seemed to have a sketchy inventory of. We also learned about the PAX system on the Touring models during our visit, a little disconcerting at first blush. It was not our first choice but we decided to give it a try at an impulse to buy which was against my better judgement. We went through the typical buying process with paperwork. It was later we found out through some research we should have gone with an EX-L or the EX that come with the optional 8th passenger seat with seat belt at the ceiling. It began to dawn on us how were we going to put the seat belt in this exceptional Touring model. Short answer, to keep it nice it would cost a pretty penny and overlooking federal regulations how the vehicle was classified. Come to find out, the Touring model is so heavy, the 8th seat was not an option simply because the van's weight would exceed the allowable GVWR for that model year. In essence, if we add the 8th seat and rig a seat belt we would be committing an illegal operation of the vehicle. The absolute last thing we needed was a potential accident to expose not only harm but a liability on me for doing such a thing hauling kids in a mini-van. I called the salesman and explained my predicament with the 8th seat application. He didn't have much to say other than I'm sorry and it was still a learning process for him. Meanwhile we're stuck with a high-mileage 7 passenger minivan. What a disgrace and a shame having gone through this. Shame on me for not researching the issue before hand, but don't ever trust a salesman's word. Once the sale was complete, I'm sure they were laughing all the way to the bank. In the end we really didn't get what we were looking for in the proper manner. There have been several issues with the vehicle since the purchase, but we have been able to look past them except the 8th passenger seat. I do no recommend this dealership, their bottom line is making sales quotas and securing future service work with the service department. Gripes about the vehicle: 1) After the first 2000 miles on the new tires, the vehicle became very noisy at highway speeds. 2) The perennial issue with the VCM, it had a noticeable hesitation at speed when the VCM was active. This was a bit irritating for me, not a smooth experience like all my other vehicles. 3) You had to be sure there was gas station nearby, this vehicle guzzled fuel. The absolute best mileage it could obtain even with an ever so gentle foot was 18mpg on the highway. Driving aggressively yielded more like 14mpg. 4) Seven passenger only. The vehicle handles well and it gets up to speed with ease. The luxury features on the Touring are nice, but not all of it was necessary for us. This is the last Honda we'll ever have unless someone pays us to drive one.

i am now the owner of my 3rd honda accord! i walked into the honda place on 8/29 at 7pm they close at 8pm.. i met mike shaw with a smile on his face i told him upfront what i wanted and what i wanted as far as a price and payment.. i told him the 11 years ago i purchaed my 2001 honda accord with Ron Buchanan. he said he would let ron know i came by and took all of my documents and info.. by 8/30/2013 2pm i got a call from Ron Buchanan and he said he had good new i called him back and was told i was approved.. i was so happy i set a time when i could come back on 8/31/13 to complete my purchase. mike shaw and Ron Buchanan were both there and waiting to assist me step by step. i felt very comfortable and they both were helpful and honest with me about my purchase, Financing and what to expect. it was a very easy process i was even able to go on a test drive with mike shaw.. i didnt have to ask them for anything everything was there for me on a sliver platter even down to access to their email to send information electronically. the business manager took his time and explained everything to me even let me charge my cellphone in his office to get my reference infomation for him.. everyone treated me like a human and not a sell.. i love hondas i am now the proud owner of a 2012! i am so thankful to have met each one of these guys and hope to work with them in the future for my next car purchase! thank you MIKE, RON AND PETE for treating me like family!!!!

I went to Honda Cars of RockHill in SC after swapping Emails with Tim Oakes. After arriving we first went on a test drive with an 2013 Accord Sport, because that is the car I told him I was interested in. I realized the car was a just a bit larger than what I liked. Tim Oakes asked would I like to test drive a 2013 Accord Coup because it was bit smaller and the price was about the same. I drove the Coup and spent some time comparing the two cars. I had told Tim what price and terms I was interested in, so when he gave me the price and terms we were very close to a deal. I had been there for a little while, and it was past dinner time, so I told Tim I was going home, but to just send me an E mail when the numbers were settled. He told me he would do that, and I said I would be back.He sent me an Email the next day with great terms and the price I needed, and a great price for my trade in. He was very pleasant and honest. I then signed all the paperwork with Pete Pistone and it was fast and efficient. He was very clear on why I needed to sign the documents and their purpose, Pete was very pleasant professional and explained everything.Tim helped me with all the functions in my new car ...I left feeling like I had just made a purchase at the grocery store instead of a major purchase at a car dealership. It was a great experience I have been telling all friends and family. I have recieved calls , emails and regular mail from Honda Cars of Rockhill since- checking to see if I'm happy with my purchase. I purchased a new Honda Accord EX-L sedan from Honda Cars of Rock Hill and worked with Al Laporta (sales) and Paul Beckman (finance). I have purchased several cars over the last few years and have to say this was by far my most pleasurable car buying experience. I was treated with respect and was not pushed to make any hasty decisions. Al made me feel comfortable and was willing to take the necessary time with me to make sure I was comfortable with the car before purchasing. Al was extremely knowledgeable about the features of the vehicles and was able to teach me several things I had not discovered or realized through my research. When it came time to talk numbers he was very respectful, did not pressure me and appeared to have my best interests in mind. I did not catch his name, but I also worked with one of the managers briefly who had this same no-pressure attitude. When I entered the finance office I worked with Paul Beckman who was very knowledgeable and organized in what he does. He also was very understanding and informative about the additional service contracts and warranties. I have never purchased an extended warranty in the past, but did because of how up front Paul was about what it covered, the benefits and cost difference. I felt that I was in and out of the finance office in a very reasonable amount of time. I was also impressed with how friendly and helpful Paul was during the process. Everyone I dealt with while at this dealership was very nice, friendly and patient. I would definitely recommend Al Laporta, Paul Beckman and the overall Honda Cars of Rock Hill to anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle. Thank you all for the wonderful experience!

On 26 June 2013, I visited the dealership to talked with Mike Shaw concerning my right rear top panel on my Pilot. As usual Mike was professional, even after my unexpected visit and interruption to his schedule. I told him my problem and right away he told me he had the right person to assist me. He took the time to walk me over to the Service dept. and introduce me to Connie Underwood. Connie was professional, concerned and eager to be of help. I couldn't put the problem in words that I thought made sense and she right away asked if my Pilot was on sight and suggested we go have a look at it. I was made to feel that my Pilot was still important as if it was a brand new honda. Connie looked at the problem and said we will take care of it. She went back to the Service dept. and got a specialist to asset the problem. He said that it could be fixed. Connie told me that they had to order the part which would be in on Tuesday and would contact me. On the following Tuesday sure enough I got the call but I was not available so I call the next day, thinking I would surely get the run-around because I had missed the call. I left Ms. Underwood a message and she called me back the same day. She asked when it would be convienent for me to come in, not setting up a date and telling me it to come in. It was refreshing to know a business had staff that recognizes the value of customers. Ms. Underwood is a great additional to your staff. I asked her if she would be my point-of-contact each time I needed service at the dealership and she agreed. I hope she and Mike is with the staff as long as I have my Pilot. I really enjoyed working with Pete McCleave. I visited the showroom several times and talked with him. I took two test drives and he was able to answer all of my questions. He did not push me to buy anything before I was ready to buy. I looked at the 2012 Accords but they did not have all of the features that I wanted. I waited and the 2013 EX-L had most of the features that I wanted. The only thing that keeps this car from being top of the line is the fake looking woodgrain and cheap floor mats. If it had the nice woodgrain and nice floor mats like my 2001 Honda it would be comparable to a luxury car. Hendrick Honda in Pineville has better prices but the traffic is terrible getting in and out of there.

My wife and I are expecting our third child and needed to upgrade to a minivan. Our car at the time was a lease that was not up until September and the baby was due in July. We decided to go up last weekend to test drive and find out what our options were with the lease. Tim was very helpful in showing us everything we needed to know about the van and there was no pressure to buy. Jason and Pete worked with us easily on discussing our options. We were able to get out of the lease early and got a great deal on the van. As of Tuesday evening we were minivan owners. My wife has adapted quickly even though she was really hesitant on driving anything bigger than the Civic. Now we are ready for that third kids seat to be filled. I'm pretty confident in saying that the next time I need a car Ill be returning.

Pete McCleave approached us the showroom on the day we had dropped off our 2007 Odyssey for service. My wife had noticed the 2013 CRV in the showroom and was looking at it. Pete gave us his card and quickly arranged a test drive after we requested one. When we left that day, Pete said that he would be glad to help us if we decided to make a purchase. Two days later we came in to pick up our Odyssey. We had done some research and were ready to talk a deal. Bottom line, Pete did eveything in his power to make us feel comfortable and answered all of our questions. Pete McCleave is one of the most genuine, nicest people we have ever met. He got a good deal for us and the trade in allowance on our Odyssey matched what we had seen on the internet. Then we met with Pete Pistone in the Business Office. Pete had some ideas ready to present to us and we were able to add an extended warranty, a maintenance package and an appearance package and stay near what we had wanted our monthly payments to be. On 30 November 2012, I purchased a Honda Pilot, my first SUV and Honda. I called Mike Shaw to set up an appointment to visit the dealership. Mr. Shaw was available on time to meet with me, which was important to me and showed that he valued my time as well. I let him know that I wanted a Pilot with running boards/lights, Navigation system and tinted windows. He showed me a Pilot with all the things I wanted except the running boards w/lights. The running boards/lights was later installed as specified. He showed me how the Pilot worked all features and also we had a test drive. Mr. Shaw was professional, not pushy and not impatient with a woman making her own decisions. I met with Pete Pistone to close the deal, which in itself was an experience that was pleasant. Mr. Pistone was professional and didn't push any extras to make a dollar off me. As a woman buying a vehicle we experience alot of assuming we don't know what we want and the color only matters, but that's not the case we want a deal too. The team of Mr. Shaw and Mr. Pistone was an excellent deal that I got at the dealership. I recommend that they train others on how to be professional and patient with women buyers. I appreciate the time they took we me, especially answering all the questions, doubts and hesitation I had making the deal. The experience is worth recommending to others. Thank you Mr. Shaw, you said I would be happy and I am glad I took that advise because I love my deal and my Honda Pilot. Everything you said would take place did, even getting my tags early.

This was, by far, the worst experience I have ever had with any purchase/business. It started with being duped by Mike Easley and Russ Crumpton. I stated very clearly that I did not want to lease a vehicle, but I was mislead by the "Leadership Purchase Program" that was pushed on me claiming that it was not a lease. Essentially, it has all the components of a lease, which seems to make it a lease with a different name. (I am told that it is illegal in N. Carolina). Aside from all that, I noticed the car had issues within the first couple of weeks of driving it. I took it to the service dept. who then sent it to a body shop for repair. None of the issues were fixed. I took it back to the service dept which attempted to fix the problems again and in return created an additional problem. Then one of the service advisors, Chris Rice, drove my car to his home overnight, yet, on the service records stated that I rode with someone from the service dept. and was unable to duplicate the issues with the car. After getting the general manager involved, Cam Stewart, I received several contradictions from one phone call to the next. For example, in an effort to trade out my car for a newer model, I was upset that Cam was asking me to finance the car for about $4000 more than even the MSRP. He stated early one morning on the phone that he was not in the office that day, but he had "run" those numbers himself and he was not going to second guess his figures. He did agree to call in to the dealership and would call me back to confirm the numbers. He called back 2 hours later and stated that the numbers were wrong, but blamed the error on sales associate, Mike Easley, and said if I would have just come into the finance dept to sign papers, then the finance dept would have caught his mistake. This was just 2 hrs after he told me that no one else compiled those figures but himself. The initial corrected numbers still put the car over MSRP. In short, I would obviously not recommend this dealership for sales or service.

Pete was great. Professional got me in and out of the paper work portion of the purchase.Mike was good. Seemed a little lost at times about the next steps, almost as if he was new. He was professional and answered all my questions.This is the second car I purchased from this dealership. I would use them again.The only issue I had was the time it took to process the transaction. I came in on a Monday and put half the money down and let them know I would be back on Thursday to process the purchase. I stopped by on Wednesday to let them know I would be back on Thursday and via e-mail let them know when I was coming. I get there and make the purchase and had to wait for more than an hour after the paper work was done for the car to be washed and detailed. The dealership had three days notice and still didn't have the car ready. I arrived at the dealer at 9:10 and didn't leave until 12:15. This was with a trade-in and a cash transaction. Not a major undertaking.

I have never been to a car dealership where the service department has been as helpful, friendly, & considerate as Honda Cars of Rock Hill. I didn't know this type of service even existed when working with car repairs! I have been multiple times for regular service along with having to have something repaired. If the repair is going to take longer than a couple of hours, I have been offered a car to use or been offered a ride. There are always snacks and drinks provided in the roomy, clean waiting area. The service is above and beyond any other place I have been to in the past. This is also why my next car purchase will be made at HCRH! My last experience just this past Monday, my car had to be towed in because it wouldn't start. They provided the towing service so I didn't have to. The only thing on this visit was my driver sideview mirror was somehow damaged while on site. But when I called back, I was given an apology and an appointment to come back for them to check it out this Saturday. Always courteous and easy to work with. I have been very pleased with the services you have provided me.

I did not have to wait at all. Chris immediately took my key and started the process of getting my car serviced. The waiting area is clean and well-stocked with water, coffee, and even pastries. I was advised by Chris that a cabin filter needed to be replaced and told him to do so. The person who took my money was friendly and helpful as well. I just wish parts/labor prices weren't so high, but that is probably out of the control of this particular dealership.

I had a repeat problem with my tire pressure and tried to resolve it myself with balancing the air pressure in each tire. I was unsuccessful and called the Honda Cars Rock Hills Service department. They were able to give me an appointment that day; resolve my problem and no charge because it turned out to be a repeat tire leak from having a nail removed and tire patched. I am happy to have this service department to depend on. I am always pleased with the customer service, comfortable waiting area, explanation of the repair. After our introduction to Sales Associate Steve Morris we indicated our desire tocheck out the new 2012 Honda CRV. Steve suggested the best way to do that would be forhim to bring up one from the lot with the features we were looking for and we'll gofrom there. Steve spent a lengthy amount of time explaining ALL the systems to uswhich was great. We then proceeded to put the CRV through it's paces on a test drive.We indicated to Steve our displeasure with the amount of road noise with our 2007 CRV. He took us to an area so we could specifically check the improvements in the sounddeadening materials added to the new model to correct that problem. After we decided to purchase the new model, we found out they didn't have the Sage Color which was ourfirst choice. No Problem, he said we'll get it for you. Two days later we drove home with exactly what we wanted. I can't say enough about everyone evolved with the processing of the entire deal from beginning to end. I bought my CR-V from Honda of Rock Hill 4 years ago and the service I received each time I went in to have the oil changed was always courteous, confident, and professional. When I was waiting on an oil change 2 years ago I saw the Crosstour and thought it was Gorgeous and much as I enjoyed my CR-V, I have been keeping an eye out for a good deal on a Crosstour. When I went online last week and saw the fantastic $2999 down and $219 per month Crosstour deal I took my CR-V in and bought a Silver Crosstour LX with black interior and elegant wood trim. My Honda Crosstour is Powerful, Practical, and sooooo Pretty! Can't decide which feature I like best! The rear view camera, being able to load 6 CDs, the way the back seats flop down flat when I pull the handles, the sun roof, lumbar back support in the driver's seat or the hands free cell phone set up! My purchase experience was terrific too! Jimmy Cologne was the first salesperson in the office Friday morning and did a good job of helping me with the purchase. He was off when I picked up my car the next day so Senior Sales Consultant Jim Scott took the time to show me how to use each feature and even set up my iPhone so I can be Hands Free in the car. I had my car in for a torque converter replacement under warranty. During the process they didn't install one of the axle seals properly so it was leaking transmission fluid. When I called to let them know the problem they got me in right away and took care of it. Oddly enough they did the same thing again...the seal wasn't installed properly so I had to come back a 2nd time. They did all the repairs in a timely manner at no charge and even filled my car up with gas for the inconvienence. I've driven Honda automobiles for the last 30 years and these folks are by far the best dealership I have ever dealt with. They go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of.

I took my car in on a Saturday afternoon after it would not stay cranked. Found out the head gasket was blown. My husband was able to get a good used vehicle using our old car as a downpayment. Our saleman did everything he could to help us along the the finance guy. We have never had such good, attentive and prompt service as we received at this dealership. The gas gage was not working on the vehicle and our salesman took care of getting it fixed at Burns Chevrolet as the vehicle we purchased was a used Chevrolet Trail Balzer with no cost to us. This meant so much to us to have someone who went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help a customer. We will be getting another car in the future when my 1988 Volvo dies and we will definitely be coming back to Honda here in Rock Hill as a direct result of this experience. This visit was to have installed Door Edge Guards and Cargo Net which I had asked Tim Oakes by phone to order or hold for my next visit. Tim told me the net was on hand and would be held for me, and that the guards would be ordered and ready the following week.He called later to let me know the guards were on hand and he was looking forward to seeing my the following week, at which time he would also show me some videos on using my navigation system. Tim Oakes introduced me to Tim Chandler who would be seeing to the installation of my accessories. Tim C. was very personable and professional in handling his interaction with me.I must admit that the installation of the two items took longer than I thought it would (though I had no idea how long it should take). The installed price was a little more than I had expected, but I may have misunderstood the prices Tim Oakes had mentioned over the phone.All in all, I am very happy that I purchased a 2012 Accord, and that I did so at Honda Cars of Rock Hill. I can understand why you have won the President's Award 8 times.Since I purchased the oil change package (or whatever it's called) I look forward to bringing my Accord to your dealership for years to come (based on the small number of miles I generally drive per year.)

I went for an oil change. I scheduled an early appointment so I could service my car and get to work on time and I made it before my first meeting. I also stopped by the Parts department to get help with my key. The battery was dead and I was unable to remove the screw. Teresa was great. She opened the casing, changed the battery and gave me tips to help with me with a crack in the other key casing. The service is always great at RH Honda.

I am new to Rock Hill and stopped by to make an appointment for an oil change and to have someone look at a small chip in my front windshield. Chris was very quick to head to my car and look at the windshield and said that they could work me in for an oil change right away. After checking it was determined that I needed two filters replaced besides the oil filter and he showed me the price. Naturally, I would have liked to have paid less but all in all the overall my impression was completely positive and I will be returning.

Usually great - this service experience was not up to par. The amount of time quoted me for the service was off; my car sat outside 35 minutes before anyone told me it was done (said they were doing paperwork ???) and their was no apology or explanation. I asked for a car wash and did not receive one. I reminded them about my rewards program but was not given the points until I was checking out and had to ask again. I dealt with 3 different employees and all were very unconcerned with my time or requests. I have going to Honda Cars of Rock Hill for 12 years and it is due to the excellent customer service that I return. One bad experience makes me rethink my next car purchase.

All of the service are always friendly and willing to help you. On today's visit there were a few services that were listed for my vechile that I didn't want to have done at present. Chris Rice informed me of the most critical items and let me decide which ones to leave out. He wasn't pushey about having everything done that was listed but informed me of the most necessary. He also called me about an item that the service tech found defective and let me know the price before the work was done. This is better than some service departments that go ahead and do the work and tell you after the fact. I have found that your service people are very professional in their work.

This is the second time Ihave been into Honda of Rock Hill to have my car serviced. Also, the second time I have had to wait three hours for an oil change. It is not worth the trouble. The first time I went in to have the carpets cleaned and an oil change and only half of the work was completed and had to wait an additional hour. Today's experience was three hours for just an oil change. Watching other customers having tires rotated and full details done leaving in thirty minutes is exuberantly frustrating.Customer service is void in this department at Honda at Rock Hill. I would have much rather paid extra money and gone to pep boys. Horrid experiences each time I come into this place make for a non-returning customer.

This was my first time buying a car. I was nervous and a little overwhelmed. Justin Westall was very understanding and helpful during the decision making process. He wasn't pushy and just laid out the facts of what they had to offer, which were very favorable for me. I took the weekend to think it over. I'm still my daddy's little girl so I had to talk it over with him. My dad, who always worries that I'll be taken advantage of, was very pleased with the service I got. I think that speaks volumes since he lives 500 miles away. I had a Honda before, and I must say this Dealership has been the best that I've been to. I felt that we were just a number and she rushed us through the financing process. It has been three business days and we still don't know who our vehicle is financed through. When we asked if she would call the insurance company, she stated she didn't have time for that. I knew it was a simple call to make, so I did so from my cell phone. Another salesman let me use his computer in order to print my insurance cards. I was disappointed with Judy's customer service.

I own a 2005 Pilot that was purchased new from this dealership. I have always had excellent service and have never taken "Rosie" to another service center. Even though she has 125,000 miles on her, we are warmly greeted and treated to the best customer service possible. Today was no different. I had an appointment for a routine oil change, but knew I could need front breaks. I knew this because I my car is inspected each time so I can plan for major work. Michael checked out my car and explained that it was time to fix my breaks. Everything went as planned and I enjoyed my wait in a comfortable waiting room. Today, customer service seems to be a "thing of the past". Please don't change. You have a costomer for life!

I often wonder why I come to this service department, every single time I take my car in they miss the boat by far. It's simple. When a customer walks in, make eye contact, say, Good morning, I will be right with you. I understand being busy, but it is inexcusable to walk into a place of business and no one looks up and there are 5+ desk areas. You get the feeling they are avoiding making eye contact,because then they will actually have to help you. I am a loyal Honda customer and never had this feeling when I lived in another area. I always feel like the pricing or service is not the honest truth. One plus, with my last visit they discounted my part and service, as the diagnostic revealed nothing was wrong. That was nice, but the bigger picture, your service department lacks a nice friendly atmosphere. That is not ok and again makes me wonder, why not go some place else?

I stopped by to see what it would cost to have a "brake lamp" problem fixed. I was surprised that the dealership was able to go ahead and fix the problem right then, since it was 4:30 or after when I arrived. It's nice to be able to do that,since my schedule at work is so inconsistent (mostly long hours). Connie is always so helpful. I really like dealing with her and with Chris. Thanks so much for helping me. As a single female, I don't like car issues of any kind. It's good to be able to trust a dealership to not take advantage of me and what I don't know!

I like taking my car to have it services there. This time I had my dad take my car in for the oil change and this is the only time I have ever had to pay the full price for my service. Not sure why because I always have a coupon to receive money off or they have one on file. Not sure what happened this time. I am a little disappointed in that and the fact that my car was not sent through the car wash that is offered for free. I know this is not a lot but in today economy all my savings are huge especially since I am a teacher. This is the first time this has happened. Justin Westall is the exception, not the rule. My wife and I visited Honda Cars of Rock Hill to shop for a Honda Minivan. Justin was extremely helpful and professional. He took time to listen to what we were looking for in our next vehicle and then he showed us the minivans that he could offer and explained all the features and benefits that each model had to offer. After reviewing the minivans we decided that they did not meet our budget so we decided to consider other models. Justin suggested and showed us the new CRV's and we were sold. My wife and I have been married over 40 years and we have purchased many cars. We were very impressed with Justin and his knowledge of all the various product lines that Honda could offer us. I am 6' 4" tall and my wife is about a foot shorter than I am. It is hard for us to find a vehicle that we both can drive comfortably. When I called Tim in distress about the service lights on in the car, he was very patient, helpful and understanding. We were taken in for service on the spot, even though we did not have an appointment. The suggested maintenance was described in detail and prices were given before we agreed to the service. I have dealt with Honda Cars of Rock Hill for many years. I have always had the best of service. As a single woman, I do worry about being stranded on the highway. I have mentioned to them before that I didn't want that to happen, and they have been very thorough to insure that the mechanical aspects of my car are in great shape. When I have taken my car in for service, they are prompt to take the car into the shop and begin work on it. When I've needed a loaner vehicle, they've connected me with a good provider, who has treated me well. when I've asked questions, I've gotten knowledgeable answers. This last visit, I inquired about the strength of my battery. They checked it and said it was fine. They could have told me it needed to be replaced, and I would have had to go with their recommendation. They could have taken advantage of me, and I would not have known the difference. But, they didn't do that at all. Working with a dealership that employs trustworthy people means a lot to me. That is why I go there over and over again!

I have had my vehicle since January 2001. The only place it has been for service is Honda Cars of Rock Hill. I did not have an appointment today and they were gracious enough to take the time to have a mechanic check out the problem. What they saw as an immediate concern they fixed today. What is possibly something for the future they did not try and make me spend extra money today. I know they will keep an eye on the problem and if it needs to be addressed they will tell me fairly and honestly. Danny Ferguson always takes the time to say Hello and doesn't mind taking a few minutes to see what the problem is that brought me in. All of the staff ask if they can help you as soon as you walk through the service entrance. The women in the billing department are always friendly and helpful also. I trust my Civic completely in the hands of this hightly qualified, friendly team of service technicians.

We heard a whining in the car, made an appointment went in and was seen right away, one of the service people took it for a ride, wasn't sure he was hearing the same thing we were, so we were asked to go out with a service person and listen also. The result was that the noise we were hearing, which was faint, is being made by maybe bearings, the car is a 2006 and has almost 100,000 miles on it. Your service dept. felt it was nothing to worry about, and if it got worse to just stop by and have someone come out and ride with us to hear it, that we wouldn't need an appt. I thought that was very nice of them. Because nothing was found, we were not charged for the appt. We had this kind of experience in NY also at our Honda Dealer, love Honda and the dealership is so different from other dealerships. Wouldn't have any other car but a Honda, because of the service and the quality of the car. thanks Honda.

BUYER BEWARE! We purchased a truck in February of 2011 with a CLEAN CarFax from Honda of Rock Hill. We thought about trading it in June. They pulled the report and found that a wreck from 2009 was reported in MAY. Seriously - two years later. We have the clean report we were given by Honda of Rock Hill in February, and the one with the wreck from May. We are now stuck with a car we paid too much for, and no one will help. Everyone tells us, it happens and there is nothing they can do. We did our research, and we were let down. Granted Honda of RH did not know about this wreck, however there is a rear oil leak that MAY have be caused by rear end damage. The cost of repair is $1200 -$1500. You would think since we are ($3000) upside down in a wrecked car purchased from them they would be willing to help. NOPE!!! We were told it was not their problem and would have to pay for the repair. I would not recommend this dealer to a friend and will drive to Charlotte for Honda needs in the future!! They will bend over backwards to get youto buy, but not help when problems arrise.

By far the best and easiest car buying experience I have had. I gave this dealership some lower ratings becuase I feel that they missed the bar when servicing our Odyssey recently. We had to bring our van in about six times to fix one issue. The issue was with the driver side sliding door. The first time it was checked, a part had to be ordered. We brought it back for the second visit to have the part installed. This worked for about a day. Then, we had to take it back to have it checked again b/c it was still not working (3rd visit). They ordered another part. We brought it back for the fouth time to have the part installed. After getting home, we realized that the window would not go down on the sliding door so we had to take it back again (5th visit). After a day or so, we noticed that we could not open or close the sliding door using the key fob or the switch on the driver's console. We took back again for our sixth visit. At this point, the issue was escalated to Danny Ferguson. We were provided with a rental car. More parts were ordered. This took 2 days to resolve. Finally, the issue was resolved.

Mike Easley was recommend to me. I live in the Pensacola, FL. area. I called Mike and was able to tell him what I wanted for a New car. I called Mike again in about a week and asked him how it looked for the car I wanted. He said to hold on for a minute. A trucked just pulled up. Mike came back and said my car was on the truck. I told him I would be flying there to get the car and to have it ready for me. Rockhill Honda was at the airport read to pick me up at 08:30 AM. At the Dealer no one could ask for better service. My car was being detailed and cleaned for me. Now I was in side doing the paper work and still have not seen the car. But just being in the show room and seeing the quality of people working there I knew I had no worries. Mike had made sure I got to meet all of the people I would be seeing while I was there and who I would be doing dealing with. I was able to meet the top man there, who I do not recall his name but know what I have seen. I knew Honda had put together a great dealership. There again shows you quality of work people there will do for you.I don't go there for my maintance, as I live in Pensacola, FL. But I would go back and buy cars for them. I know I might not get Mike again, but I would hope so, I would still fill like I'm getting a great deal. If you wanted to know on a scale from 1 - 10 how to rate Mike I would have to give him a 12. This dealership has been great.. But I wonder why the tech didn't catch this when he did previous front end repairs.. Also you guys complete scheduled service on my car but the check sheets have never informed me that I needed brake pads or rotors..

I have delt with this dealership since I have owned my Honda (since 2002). The service representatives, the ladies that handle payments, just everyone there has always been very professional but also very kind and helpful. I have never spoken to anyone that has not had a smile on their face.This dealership is number 1 in my book and always will be and I won't take my car anywhere else.

I WAS ON MY WAY TO THE BEACH ON A FRIDAY AFTERNOON WHEN A SERVICE LIGHT CAME ON AND I CALLED ROCK HILL HONDA AND SPOKE WITH CHRIS RICE. HE TOLD ME TO COME ON IN BUT THEY WERE BACKED UP. IT WAS 4:00 PM ON A FRIDAY AFTERNOON. MY CAR WAS REPAIRED AND I WAS OUT OF THERE IN A LITTLE OVER AN HOUR. I WAS AMAZED THAT MY REPAIR WAS MADE SO QUICKLY. THE PRICE WAS VERY GOOD ALSO. I'VE HAD THREE HONDAS AND HAVE BEEN GOING TO ROCK HILL HONDA FOR ABOUT 11 YEARS. THEY HAVE THE MOST OUTSTANDING SERVICE DEPARTMENT I'VE EVER BEEN TO. THE EMPLOYES ARE FRIENDLY AND ALWAYS SMILING. I went out to garage this morning and our 08 Pilot would not start, It appeared the battery had died. This was a Saturday morning at about 11:30. I called Honda Cars of RH and spoke to Chris. He reminded me I had the Hendrick protection plan, (I forgot I had it)and to call the 800 # and they would get me a jump start. I called and less than 30 minutes later the service man arrived and got the Honda started. I took it to the dealership and Colby had a new battery installed and I was on my way in less the 45 minutes. I feel this dealer is the best for both sales and service that I have ever delt with. I especially appreciate that they never try sell me stuff I do not need. Their prices are very fair and their work is top notch.

After having my car in the shop for three days a month ago to have the computer, a harness and something else replaced, when my seat belt did not work I had had it. I drove into the Honda Cars service area around 5:15 on Wednesday 7/20 because as you are aware it is against the law to drive without wearing a seat belt in SC. I was immediately greeted by David Chaussard and explained that my seat belt was locked and would not engage. My car was taken back to the service bay and it was found the locking mechanism (I think) wasn't working. Mr Chaussard came to the waiting room and explained the part would need to be ordered and I was given the opporitunity to get a rental car. Well, due to the extensive repairs to my car earlier, as mentioned before, I was very upset. I did tell Mr Chaussard I realized it wasn't his fault but there were cars on the lot and to take a mechanism from one of them. He went to see if this was a possiblity and came to tell me they were checking for a match. One was found and installed. When I was leaving I noticed the air bag error light was on. Mr Chaussard found one of the gentlemen who had worked on my car, who was already on his way home, and called him back to check into this. It appeared the air bag was not plugged back in (agian I think this was the situation) when the seat belt panel was reinstalled. This was fixed right then. I even received a follow up call from Mr Chaussard on Thursday. Mr Chaussard and this gentleman (please get his name from Mr C) were very patient with an irrate customer (me) and deserve recognition for going beyond the call of duty.

I have been a "loyal" customer for many years. I have worked with Chris Rice, Connie Underwood and Colby Simpson. These three employees are always at the top of their profession. They all take the time to listen to any issue at hand and always find a way to go over and beyond finding a solution. You are truly fortunate to have them on your team.I recently experienced a very unfortunate incident while having my car serviced. My windshield was broken by accident during a routine service two days prior of leaving for a two week vacation. The windshield was not at all an issue with me. Accidents happen and I totally understood. No problem, Honda had another full day to have the windshield repaired and I had no worries. The problem I had was the amount of time I was left sitting in the waiting area because no one wanted to come tell me my windshield was broken during a routine oil change. I explained to the employee I was working with that particular day that I work on commission and I wish he would have taken the time to update me. I had to reschedule appointments from that day to the next because of the length of time I was left sitting. I further asked if I could have a rental car the next day as they would need my car and I had booked my day solid with my appointments that I had to reschedule. I was assured that would be no problem. I told this employee that I would be there at 10:00 a.m. to drop my van and pick up the rental. Not a problem. The next morning I called your employee and told him I was on my way to please have the rental waiting as I had appointments I had to be at. Once again, no problem. Upon arriving shortly after 10:00 a.m. there was no rental. Now there is a problem. I rescheduled a half of day of appointments from the prior day along with my appointments already scheduled for this day. Now I had to call folks from your waiting area once again to tell them I would be late or have to reschedule. The employee I was working with at that time did not take the time to hear a word I was telling him. He cost me a full day of work (I work on commission) and a lot of family grief as we ended up leaving over three hours late for vacation and inconvenienced other family members we were to meet up with later that evening. To make matters even worse, the rental car I was provided smelled so badly that I had to ride with the window down and a/c blasting. I didnt have time to request a different car as I was late once again. Needless to say I was very upset now. My windshield had been broken, I was left sitting in the waiting area with no explanation, I lost a day of work, I was given a smelly car, because there was no rental waiting on me when I arrived, my entire day ran behind schedule and my family was furious to say the least with me because I did not have my van back yet As you can understand, enough was enough!I contacted Chris Rice and Connie Underwood, which I should have done from the very beginning and I am sure things would have been handled much differently... Chris and Connie both stepped up to the plate. They both "listen" to what I was saying and got me on the road...even though it was 3 hours late. They are both gracious and professional. I have referred family and friends to them and will continue to do so. I have learned my lesson. I will deal with Chris, Connie or Colby in the future. I truly appreciate all they do. These three are the best in their profession and you are very lucky to have them represent you.

I am a long time customer of Honda Cars of Rock Hill - when I was buying my recent vehicle I considered a different make but the way I am treated and particularly the service department kept me at Honda Cars of Rock Hill. I did my research on line for serivce departments in other dealerships: Toyota and Nissan in particular had F's with the BBB. I will probably stay with this dealership as long as I am alive.

I have always had a good experience at this dealership when dealing with Russ Crompton in internet sales, but I drive 45min to this dealer so I always try to have my car serviced when I have other buisness to attend in Rock Hill and that requires me to get a loner car but I have to go through Russ to get it and he has been able to get me one every time.

This is the third new vehicle we have purchased at Honda Cars of Rock Hill. Everybody is always so helpful and willing to answer every question we have regarding the vehicle and financing. They seem to work harder to make us comfortable with the sales process than they do to sell another vehicle. As long as they continue to perform in this manner I see no reason to do business with any other dealership.

This was our 2nd visit so far to your dealership and both times we have had the best experience! We definitely plan to bring my parents soon as they are now looking for a car. We have been fortunate to have Jerry as our salesman both times and we just love him! We took several of his cards this time and assured him we would be recommending him to anyone looking for a vehicle. Pete was great as well in the finance department. He shared with us various options in terms of putting some money down to get our payment reduced a little in addition to explaining the extended warranty for us. Again, a great experience!!!The only issue that we had with the transaction was that as we drove home to North Charlotte, we couldn't get the radio channels to come in, which we thought was very strange. We assumed it was maybe like a new TV where you had to scan through all of the stations to activate them (since we had never had a brand new car). But when we got home, we realized that the antennae wasn't on the car. We called Jerry and sure enough they had removed it during the cleaning process. We are planning to drive back down to pick that up as well as the privacy shade for the back section as soon as it comes in. Thanks again for an awesome experience! I am so excited about my new CRV! We will continue driving to Rock Hill as long as we get this type of service!

had car detailed 6/10/11. all was good other then the seats looked bad(worse then when I brought it in. Roy and Paul(from detail shop) looked at seats and quickly remedied this by stating I could come back and they will reclean the seats again and scotch guard for me at no cost to me. This is good customer service. Any other time I come in to have my vehicle serviced it is always a pleasure to deal with the service dept.

I have been using Honda Cars Rock Hill for over ten years. The attention to service is uncomparable. I know when I take my car there it is receiving the very best service possible. Juan did an excellent job of telling up front what the estimated cost would be and even contacted me once the vehicle had been expected to let me know what the final cost was. The service did take a little lomger than I would have liked, but the facilities are so pleasant, I didn't mind at all.

When I arrived at my appointment (made 2 days previously on the phone) Chris told me that I had been mislead. I had been told my car would need to be left for 2 days (until Friday or Saturday). Chris told me that the repair I needed (hail damage) may not be started until Tues or Wed of the following week due to other cars already scheduled for this work. When I explained that this would be an issue for me, Chris re-evaluated the situation and said he would do his best to get my car repaired and back to me by the following Monday. This was acceptable to me. On Friday afternoon, I receieved a call from Chris saying they were able to get my car in and completed faster than anticipated. It was indeed finished in 2 days. THANK YOU, CHRIS!

At Honda of Rock Hill, we did not feel that our business was wanted. The salesman made us feel like every second he spent with us was a wasting his time. We were really wanting the Honda, so we kept looking despite our experience. When we asked about pricing and trade value, we got nothing. Trade valued 25% below value and nothing for the price. With poor service and pricing, we will not be shopping at Honda of Rock Hill again.

My husband and I were shopping for an Accord Coupe and we dealt with Rock Hill Honda. The sales person kept either promising that they had what I wanted at another dealer and could transfer to Rock Hill or kept saying that they would do their best to get it. For 3 days straight we kept receiving the "run-around" from Clyde Avery (salesperson). Finally, after the 3rd day of playing games, my husband and I went with another dealer (and another brand of car) all-together and were completely satisfied. It was like night and day as far as Rock Hill Honda's sense of professionalism. For those of you in the market for a Honda - steer clear of Rock Hill - they're into playing games and I would not recommend them to anyone!!!!

Did not buy from this dealer because I felt pushed to buy or lease a new car rather than the used car I needed. I just talked to this dealer through Internet and by phone. When trying to browse site, too many pop up boxes interferred with my browsing. I am a single parent of teenagers and needed the sales staff to listen to what I needed, not try to sell me a brand new car.

My wife and I were looking for a Toyota Highlander Hybrid used and we had been searching the area for quite a while to find one. They're very hard to find. I went to the Honda Cars of Rock Hill website and was surprised to find one (in the color that my wife wanted) present in their inventory. I sent in an information request on the vehicle and got a quick call back from a pleasant sales person who invited me to come into the dealership. When I got there and found that the vehicle was still there, I called for my wife to come take a look at it too. It had a small crack in the windshield, but the General Manager, Cam Stewart, said that they would fix that for free and not charge us anything. Overall, we had a really great experience. We ended up not buying the car because my wife really wanted the 3rd row seat option and that model didn't have it. But everyone we talked to in the dealership was very nice. I'd recommend this to others.

Just an overall bad experience. Negotiated a deal over the phone and then we show up the manager didn't honor want the salesperson stated. Although we got a good price because it was the end of the month and they needed sales it was a bad experience overall. Didn't feel good after the purchase. They stated the best they could do on financing was 5.5% and then magically when I said I could go to a local bank and get 4.7% they came back at me with 4.65%. The sales manager, the salesperson, and the finance/sales guy was bad news and made my wife and I feel very uncomfortable after it was all done. I would never recommend Honda of Rock Hill.
