If it had not been for the General manager, Russ and Clint my salesman I would not be writing a very good review. I purchased a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe, the car did not have a SD card to operate the limited features(did during test drive), my steering wheel was offset (tires out of balance), and front brakes and rotors needed to be replaced. My air conditioning only worked on passenger side. When requested these things be checked and fixed to sales manager Boyd he tried to bribe me to write a good review and if so then he would reimburse me for the SD card. I did not feel that was not acceptable so I contacted the general manager who was extremely helpful and provided excellent customer service! He assured me everything would be fixed. The service dept had my car for over a week and provided me a new loner car during this time. I feel that the upper management end of this company is great but would recommend educating the sales managers about customer, quality, and honest service. I want to especially thank Russ Rogers for going the extra mile to ensure my car was safe and functioning properly for my family!! I want to thank Clint my salesman for being there to listen to all my complaints throughout the process and helping me get these issues resolved!

My wife and I decided it was time to replace our 2000 Honda CRV of 16yrs, and 426,000 miles. We came to Honda Kingsport, met with Sales Representative Taylor Hylemon. We told him we wanted a CRV and he answered all questions, showed us different models, and let us decide without any "sales chatter" or pressure of any kind. We discussed price and he presented a price within what we had researched without any hidden or "I forgot" issues. He took us to J.J. Jordan who walked us through the financing. He spent time finding us the lowest rate and consulting with us before he committed to it. Buying a new car is usually an ordeal. This was not. We thank these two and the people above them who allowed them to avoid the "car salesman" stereotype and be real people. To be helpful instead of an obstacle, which has been so much of our experience in the past. Thanks again. We'll be back for service when it comes around.

My wife and I were looking at compact SUVs and she decided she really wanted the new HR-V from Honda. Once we decided on the vehicle I set out to find the best lease deal from a number of dealerships. We are located in Indiana and had several dealers nearby to work with but ultimately the Kingsport dealership made us such a fantastic offer that we decided to make the 400 mile drive to Tennessee. They were significantly less expensive on the same vehicle and the salesman, David Meredith, was also the most straightforward and honest about pricing of anyone I dealt with. I did 90% of the negotiations via email and David made the whole process very convenient considering my work schedule. Our experience upon arriving at the dealership to actually pick the vehicle up was just as pleasurable. Everyone was very friendly and it was honestly the least stressful deal I've ever done on a new vehicle. Oftentimes, the salespeople are easy to work with but the finance department can be a pain and may try to push products and services on a customer that doesn't want anything but may feel overwhelmed by the tactics and ultimately succumb to the pressure. However, none of this happened at Kingsport Honda. Even the finance person, JJ, was wonderful. He was friendly and helpful throughout the process and made no attempt to force anything into the deal. The car looked fantastic and had clearly been cleaned and detailed properly. Also, the walk-through that David gave us for the vehicle was concise, hitting on all the key items without dragging it along for an extended time. We appreciated that the whole process was very efficient given that we had another 400 mile trip back to Indianapolis. Now a month into ownership all I can say is that we love the HR-V and it was well worth it to make the drive to Kingsport Honda!! I couldn't be more pleased with the whole experience and I will definitely use them for all future Honda purchases. A big thank you goes out to everyone there for being the best dealership I've ever worked with. Keep up the great work!!

I came in on a Saturday morning with no appointment. Adam never made me feel rushed or an inconvenience while he had other appointments waiting on him. He was awesome as he worked on my behalf and Honda Kingsport. You can tell that Adam really wants to make sure that his customers feel appreciated. Adam actually transferred everything from our old car to our new car, even my kids car seats and had the shop vacuum them out. Then right before we took the picture he took out a rag and bottle of water to wipe off any dirt that had gotten on the car from the rainy day we had. You can tell he cares and wants his customers to have a great experience. They gave me a great deal and I never felt pressured into anything. Everyone was so pleasant and friendly while I worked with them, from JJ Jordan in finance to Kimberly in a accessories. Great job Honda Kingsport! I got a good deal on my car; however, I wish I could have driven the car without the salesman with us (as we have always before). He told us where to go (a curvy back road) and wanted the air conditioner on and it wasn't that hot. Felt very uncomfortable with him in the car. Couldn't talk to my husband in private about the car. My experience with Wally Witt, the sales consultant, I would rate a 5 star. Wally is very knowledgeable on the features of the car. He did not rush me into making a decision and got me a very good deal on the car I decided on. He also followed up after the sale to see if I had any questions.I had a slight disagreement with what I was charged for one item by the financial group that I wasn't made fully aware of and wasn't part of my price negotiations. I noticed the charge on my paperwork the next day. This misunderstanding was resolved amicably. My overall rating would be 4.5 because of my dealings with the financial group but Wally deserves the rating of 5 that I gave.

I never saw a car dealership that didn't want to sell you a car. The salesman contacted me; told him what I was looking for. He promised to call me back the next day. Never heard from him. I looked on the website the next week and found one I was interested in. I called him for a price. He was to check and get back to me. He calls me back and tells me it's already been sold but if anything like what I'm looking for comes in, he will call. The vehicle stays off their site for three days and magically reappears. Never heard from him.

It was nice not being rushed. The salesman took his time in showing us several vehicles and allowed us to drive each auto and showed us all of the details for each one. When we decided on the right vehicle for us the deal was short in time as we reached a purchase price quickly, they even showed us the values from KBB and NADA and a car fax as well. They were very busy as they do a great business so finalizing paperwork was a bit of a wait but worth it.

Good price, friendly staff, great sales rep we worked with! Sales rep (Jamie) worked with us from our initially visit to help us determine which trim and color Pilot we wanted. Had to wait for the specific vehicle to come in from Honda after we decided on the exact vehicle. Jamie was very helpful (provided his work and cell #) and kept us informed during this waiting period. When the vehicle was here, he called and got it ready quick and scheduled appointment with us that day. When we got there, all of the paperwork were prepared for us to sign. Could have gotten the vehicle at another local dealership for similar price, but sales person here made a true difference and provided a great buying experience. Would recommend to friends/family. Everyone was extremely nice and friendly and no pressure. They were very helpful answering any questions me or my wife had. Gave us a tour of the dealership so we were comfortable and knew where everything was. We were interested in a good pre owned certified vehicle with low mileage and they had a big inventory to choose from used and new. I have had several new and used cars in my life and had gotten to where I hated the part of having to deal with the salesman and the dealerships, just way to pushy and slow. But after going to Honda Kingsport all the other dealers need to learn from them. Everyone was very knowledgeable and professional and everything was done faster and ready to drive off the lot faster than I've ever had before. If I ever need another car Honda Kingsport will be the first place I will look. Definitely would recommend.

I had been looking at cars for the past 2 or 3 months, and couldn't find anything that I was completely happy with. After getting home on Christmas day, I decided to look online at Honda since my mom and aunt both had positive experiences with Honda cars. I found one that was the perfect color and had the options that I was looking for- sunroof, fog lights, dark cloth interior, and 4 doors, yet sporty looking. Josh was the salesman who came to help us. He is knowledgeable on everything there is to know about Honda cars. I was very impressed by him. We took a test drive. I was hooked on the feel of the car. This was the best car shopping experience I have ever had. The staff were extremely helpful and the dealership had a wide variety of cars to look at. I had spent around 14 hours of car shopping that day and Josh was the very first one to sit down with me and ask me exactly what I wanted. David and Josh both let me test drive several cars until I found the one that I loved. Josh made sure to take me some place with a lot of curves since I live in WNC and all I drive is curves. The other car salesman that I've dealt with at other dealerships wouldn't even let me drive anything but interstate which was useless for me. Even tho this dealership was a good hour half to two hours away from me, I would drive that far again just to do businesses with them. This dealership actually cares and wants their customers to be happy with their cars. I highly recommend Josh and Honda of Kingsport to everyone!

I had an initial issue with a member of the phone sales staff but Josh Gardner picked up her slack and wasn't going to let me walk away with a bitter taste in my mouth. Ultimately, it was the car that sold me but the staff was patient and I would have purchased elsewhere if I didn't feel good about the people helping me through the process. The experience, altogether, was more than positive and I do recommend them to others. Thanks, guys and gals!

When I started searching for a new vehicle to replace my 2011 Ford Escape, I drove several vehicles. The Honda CRV by fair exceeded my expectations. I did an Internet search and emailed Wally Witt who immediately responded with a price quote. I called and he answered all my questions. Knowing I was calling from several hundred miles away, he emailed me a personalized video late on Saturday night as the dealership was about to close. I asked for a lease price on a CRV and the final payments. They gave me a sales price, then the residual amount plus tax,title and several other charges. The payment amount for 36 months was over $3,000 more than they quoted me. For 36 payments I would pay $3,000 more than I owed. I asked why and they said it is a price factor?????? What it did is have me pay more than the price they quoted me. When I asked why they said just a price factor. I don't like false statements. Good luck if you buy from them.When I was discussing the numbers with the finance mgr. I put my hand on his shoulder in friendship and said I didn't understand, he quickly pulled away and walked off.

He cares about you as a person. We ended trading 2 cars & left with 2 new one's at a lot better price than Johnson City Honda & this was after being a loyal customer for over 10 yrs. It has been many years since I first dealt with Honda Kingsport. They use to have two computers that customer's could use during service work, they don't have them anymore & they use to have snacks for the customers in the waiting room.When they detail your vehicle after the sale, it could be done better. Outside of vehicle was still dirty in places & 1/2 of the front windshield was smeared during cleaning. Was not too happy about this.Overall, you will have a excellent deal using HONDA KINGSPORT.

This is not my first experience with Honda Kingsport, nor will it be my last. I have been driving a Honda Pilot for ten years. Not only have I been extremely pleased with the automobile, I have been equally pleased with the service department and the sales/administrative staff. They are all first class, willing to assist in any way I need help. I have just purchased a 2016 Honda Pilot. The experience has been just as I hoped it would be- expedient and friendly with no gimmicks or hyperbole. We began our car buying purchase via the internet where three of the closest dealers were requested to provide a quote for a 2015 Honda CR-V. David Meredith from Honda Kingport quickly contacted me and left a quote via email (my preferred method of contact) with a competitive price. The other two dealers continued to try to call but no quotes. We went to see the car and as David was with another customer, we worked with another salesman. All of the staff were extremely friendly and explained the details of all that we were seeing. We had a good idea of price and payments before we went in and I am glad that I feel like we were well treated with no gimmicks or heavy handed tactics. I would highly recommend the folks at Honda Kingsport to anyone looking to buy a new vehicle.

When I went to look for a vehicle at Honda of Kingsport I was approached by several of the employees to ask me if I needed any help, plus they were all so friendly. Wally was the sales person I was dealing with, he was a very helpful and knowledgeable person. Wally was kind, funny and patient, and believe me he had to have patients when it come to me buying a car. Kimberly was friendly and sweet, she really care about what my needs were. She was so knowledgeable and showed me everything I needed to know, plus she didn't make me feel rushed at all. Wesley was the guy that did my paper work, he was so nice and funny. He had all my paper work ready to go, so all I had to do was read and sign. This dealership is a rare breed in customer service! I received immediate attention from Tasha who assisted me with high res photos. Adam, the sales rep, was so easy going, informative and patient with my requests for information. Anthony, the used car manager, was so considerate and helpful with my financial needs, too. I would highly recommend this dealership if you're considering a new or used car. Right from the beginning, they treated me like I had been a customer of theirs for years.

Visited this dealership on 12/16/2014 and spent 20 minutes being completely ignored. Salespeople were sitting in offices chatting with each other. One just sat in their office and stared at us. Two guys appeared to be pretty busy. Seems about right as they were the only two actually working. No greeting from anyone and no offer of assistance. Also you have to wade through a ton of used cars to get to the new car lot. Went next door and made a deal on a Toyota.

After making a recent purchase with this dealership I was very pleased with the entire staff and the way all the customers were treated. This is the first dealership I have experienced that makes you feel at ease and much appreciated. Everyone of the staff makes you feel at home. The accessory manager Kimberly made sure I knew everything about my new vehicle before I left. She was very good to me. I was amazed at all the things my new Honda could do. Very professional.

My husband and I recently purchased a pre-owned car from Honda of Kingsport and the service was excellent. With my husband being very picky and having to research everything, they were very patient with us. My husband found a few things that he didn't like about the car with one being a rattle sound when we hit a bump. We advised them of this issue and they did not hesitate to get the car into service and have it fixed right away. Overall everything was perfect. With a score out of 1-10, with give them a 10.
