Honda of Hayward has a very personable crew working for them. Very friendly, polite people. They get to you right away, find what your needs are and get to them pretty quickly. They also have a shuttle which is great because I would rather be home waiting. If you do have to wait there, they have hot beverages, fruit and bagels. 2 large dispensing machines for cold drinks and candy, and chips. All in all, a nice place!

They have the best customer service in Honda of Hayward. When I picked up my car from them, I notice quite a few scratches and leftover wax from different areas of the car. My representative, Ali and his manager Steve, both made a promise that they will provide me service until I am satisfied with the looks of my car, as it should be, new. Both Ali and Steve are super nice and reliable when it comes to getting a new car, to ensure that each and every customer are satisfy when they leave with their car.

I've been coming to Honda of Hayward for ten years now for all my car services. Their customer service has been consistent from day one. Their staff is great and are all customer oriented and friendly people. They ALWAYS assist me in ensuring my vehicle is in great condition. One year I decided to switch things up and went to an oil changer and jiffy lube to service my vehicle. I found out I ended up getting ripped off, I came back to Honda and won't ever leave again. I love Honda of Hayward and would highly recommend.

Came in to find no one at the service desks for about 10 min; then someone came in and took a little information, and dropped me ... he went out and didn't come back. Had to complain to others to get service. Then later in the the day, they never called me to get the car and it was after 5pm (they close at 6pm) - I had to call them, found out it was ready - probably had been for hours. I'm having second thoughts about my next car - maybe not Honda since it is the local Honda service - this service operation has really gone down hill the last year or so.

I had a recall on 2016 Honda Accord, I made an appointment at 2:00 pm. I was at the Service Department at 1:50 pm and waited until 2:33 pm and had no one come help me. So I went inside and told them I had an appointment at 2:00 pm, they don't me to sit tight and someone would come and help me. No one ever came to help me. At 2:40 pm, I left the dealer, and ended up calling customer service telling them I had left because no one ever came to help me and they left me waiting. Fortunately the one who answered the phone was Chris, the service manager. I told him the experience that I had, he asked if I was around the area and I was. He asked me to come back, and that he would help me right away. In the moment that I called him, he just finished his lunch. He did his job perfectly but unfortunately his staff didn't. In the future, I don't think I would recommend anyone to go the service due to the horrible experience that I had. I would most likely take my car to a different Honda Dealer. I am sorry to write this but I was very disappointed in the bad service that I received.

I paid cash for a 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring. Everything went well until Honda Hayward had the car detailed for delivery and I took possession. At that time it was noted that glue from the protective shipping material remained on the car at virtually every raised friction point on the top, sides, hood, and trunk. The sales associate and sales manager were appropriately surprised, but it was too late in the day for this oversight to be corrected (Hayward sub-contracts their detailing to Sunshine, they closed at 6pm that day). I was asked if the corrective action could wait until the next Wednesday or Thursday. Its now Friday - I haven't heard a peep out of these guys. The car gets 5 stars; the dealership flunked.

Normally my advisor let me know if I need things done in my car. This visits I had a different advisor who was nice but didn't tell me after the service what all needs to be done. I had to ask for my car as people who came after me were getting out before me. Once I was done the cashier hands me the paper and I see that I needed some filters to be replaced. If the advisor had told me then I would have got that done straight away.

Service was friendly but slow. I was quoted 90 minutes for the repair but it took 2 hrs and 20 minutes to complete the work. No one reviewed the complimentary multi-point inspection with me. I assume the quality of the work was fine.Waiting area was clean and comfortable; very few new vehicles to check out while waiting.

When I first arrived there was about 6 people ahead of me. I was debating if I should stay or come back another day. My car needed an oil change so I decided to stay plus it was my day off but had plans in the evening so I didn't want to be late. I was finally customer serviced about 20 minutes later and it was hot outside. The process was quick and I ran some errands close by while they fixed my car. The process lasted about an hour and 10 minutes which I was happy with.

Very bad experience on 6/20/16, went in for a 55k service, had an appointment for 7.15AM. got there 15 minutes early. there were two lanes, the one on the left had a sign "without appointment" and it was empty when I arrive. Since I have an appointment naturally i went to the right lane, I was 3rd in line, the first car had no driver in it, it obviously was left there overnight. Meantime two cars pulled in to the left lane "without appointment". When they opened at 7 AM, a service guy immediately attended to the first car on the left lane "without appointment". My friend who was with me then, and i voiced out our complaint to this service guy and pointed out the sign to him and said he is not doing his job fairly because the car in front of me and i were here first. He said it's first come first service. really? I pointed the sign on the left lane "without appointment" to him again and he said I'm not going to argue with you. To which I said, tear the sign down if you are not going to follow your own procedure! He was even sarcastic as to say, so do you want me to service the first guy on your lane even though he is not here, just because the car is here first? He was rude, nasty to say the least. I have bought my two cars here and have been coming to this service department for years, since my kids were little, and now they are in their late 20s and mid 30's. what does that tell you about this place? So very disappointed to have been treated as such, And I did not get the complimentary car wash too when I picked up my car later that day!

After the service I took the car home I noticed that the engine coolant was low. The dealer did not top off the coolant. The technician did not ask me if the car had any other problems. When I dropped off the car at the dealer for service, I was in a rush to go to work and did not remember at that time to tell the technician about the inoperable or damaged wheel Traction switch and mechanism. The technician did not check them. Now I have to take the car back for a second time for fixing the Traction switch and mechanism. Big waste of my time.

My girlfriend just bought a car here and man, best service by far! It was raining but we couldnt go any other day we felt bad but the salesman helping us out didnt seem to mind and said he was more than happy to help, I think the guys name was Brian. I say she looked at least a dozen cars and asked mundane questions like does this come in white? I almost beat my head against the wall, it was cold, raining and I just wanted to go home but the salesman was a real trooper and had a great attitude throughout the whole ordeal. Real cool guy to deal with, I definitely recommend Honda of Hayward. When it is time for my next car, or rather when I have the money I will give this place a shot.

This dealership had the color and model I wanted for a Odyssey and was able to match my lowest price that I had received from another dealership and because Annamarie was very friendly and didn't pressure me through the process I chose to purchase here. She is great with building rapport with the customer first and then just talking with the customer to put you at ease. I would recommend this dealership to anyone after my buying experience. Overall time to purchase a car was about 3 hours or so after all the finance interest rate paperwork and all the other paperwork. Overall a very good experience for a very nice Odyssey.

I submitted a request for information from Honda of Hayward. I had also submitted requests to several other dealers. Honda of Hayward was the only one that called back promptly, left an informative voicemail, and gave me enough information to want to come visit. Since I knew what I wanted, when I got there, we just started the purchase process and everything went very smoothly, and within about two hours, I was driving my new Pilot home! There was no pressure and they were very helpful!

I had a horrible experience with this dealership. No ethics, no professionalism, including their sales manager. I will be reporting this to Honda as well. They don't sell the cars, they auction them. I almost signed the paper work and they refuse to sell me the car, because somebody else wants to pay higher price on the car in the last minute. What kind of business ethics they have, a deal is a deal, if they didn't make a good deal, it doesn't matter. Legally, they are not obligated to give me the car, but there are some morals you need to follow in business. You can't renege on your deal and ask for more price after you give the word to a customer who spent his valuable time at your dealership.

Seat in my 99 Accord was extremely loose so took it to Honda of Hayward for repair. They charged me $60.00 for an estimate, telling me that it needed a new seat track. They estimate that the part would cost $1,100 and labor to install it would be $300. This seemed steep.I then took it to my Cougar mechanic (1970 Cougar XR7 Convertible -- totally cherry). They agreed that the seat track needed to be repaired or replaced. However, they said it could be sent to a professional welder and repaired. This I did at a cost $300, including installation. This happened about 6 months ago. Part is working fine and I am satisfied with the repair job.

So I went to this dealer last month. One guy helped me, and I stated I was just looking and did not want to buy a car today, so at this point he decides to get somebody of my "ethnic background" to assist me in buying a car. How rude and racist, PLEASE DONT BY FROM HERE. I was shocked at how unprofessional I was treated. Business must be really bad for them if they are acting like that......

This was the most horrible experience i had in my life. When i called, i described the exact vehicle i was looking for and told that i will not be compromising anything on it. I was given a quote over the phone and was told everything will be ready when i drop in there. I fixed the date and time to make the purchase and reached about 15 mins after the decided time. To my surprise, they didn't even have the car which i was promised will be there. They said it will be there soon and that we can do the paper work till then. I refused to any paperwork for a car i haven't seen. The big surprise was still to come. Markus said he can't even get the car until i do the paperwork. He would not define what 'paper work' was since no one will sign for a car which he/she has not even seen. To add to that, he said it will take few hrs for the car to arrive and wanted me to wait there till then. Have you ever heard of a dealer refusing to show you the car until you buy it??I finally managed to leave the dealership and asked him to call me whe the car is ready. In couple of hrs, he called up and told he doesn't have the car. I will be providing this information to Honda as well. Hope they close their shop so that prospective buyers don't get harassed like i was.
