I was compelled to replace my Jeep Cherokee after the insurance declared a total loss an accident claim. I saw the listing for a 2008 Subaru Outback that was well below the KB value. After speaking with Jim (James) Verthein, I paid a visit to the dealer for a test drive. Post test drive, I smelled burning oil and the digital console that controls climate and entertainment (radio, CD etc.) was not working. Jim ensured that the car would be evaluated and he would report findings. He indeed reported the findings, schedule repairs with the service department to install valve cover gasket and diagnose the console issues. Jim made sure that service personnel were aware that i was waiting to purchase once repairs are done. Well as you might expect, I purchased and took delivery of the vehicle and low and behold, there were still issues with the console. I returned with the vehicle for diagnoses and Jim reassured me that the problem would be resolved. During this visit, I met Mr Hove (owner) and he was most courteous and reassured me that his team would resolve any issues I had with my used purchase. I was given an appointment by Josh to return and let the service tech (Charlie) diagnose the problem and repair. Ultimately, the problem was found and resolved.This, by far, has been to best experience I have had with a car purchase. This organization and Mr Hove have created an environment of comfort, accommodation and more importantly trust! All staff, whether in my buying and repair process or not, were courteous, professional and accommodating throughout the numerous trips to this dealer. The repair appointment was actually a real appointment. The car repair commenced at the designated appointment time (8:15am). All questions were addressed and repair action details provided.I don't know what else to say, this group gets it in all the right places! From start to conclusion of the sale was seamless. I live in Indiana and the Hove Nissan atmosphere made the drive tolerable. If you are looking for a car buying experience that feels like "everyone knows your name" then, this is the dealer for you!! Jim was the ultimate professional and bent over backwards to ensure that my concerns would be addressed. In fact, Jim was expecting a customer from Cincinnati Ohio to pick up a vehicle on my appointment date (13 July 2016). It just goes to show you that, if you present a good product, the people will come (from far and wide)! And pricing, how often does someone drive off the lot and gain equity in the vehicle, very rare indeed!

I recently purchased 2012 Suzuki SX4 Crossover from Hove Nissan in Bradley, Illinois. From start to finish, the process went very smoothly and I have no complaints. After looking for two years, I discovered the car with the options I wanted and at a price significantly below Blue Book value. The sales consultant, Seth Garrett picked-me up at my motel, and answered all my questions in a friendly, non-pressure manor. Mr. Garrett then let me drive the car for as long as necessary and when I mentioned the problems encountered (some major), he had them taken care of without any cost to me - somewhat of a surprise as the asking price for the car left little margin for profit. I then met with the Finance Manager, Mr. Terry Schwartz, and he described all of the financing and warranty options, again without pressure and non-rushing the answers. In addition, Mr. Schwartz was able to quote me one of the lowest financing rates and allowed me a long period to decide on warranty coverage. With all the paperwork processed and the car washed/cleaned, Mr. Garrett made certain that I was familiar with the controls, gave me a full tank of gas, and many thanks. This experience was very pleasant and the only regret was that I wish I could do more business with Hove Nissan but the distance from my home (approximately 350 miles) makes that difficult.

We have done business with this dealership for over twenty years. Their service department is excellent. The work is done well and on time. The service manager, Tom, has many years of experience and this helps greatly in providing excellent customer service and repair knowledge and explanation. The customer knows what the problem is with the vehicle and the choices, costs, time commitments, and whether the company is able to offer any financial assistance through current programs offered by Nissan. We have also purchased 4 new vehicles from this dealership and have been very happy with the purchase and the sales staff. We requested the salesman Seth. This salesman is very knowledgeable of the products, incentives, and options. He is willing to spend whatever time the customer needs to answer questions, explain incentives, options, financing, the features of the new vehicle, or whatever else the customer requires. We leave the dealership feeling good about the experience.

Hove didn't stick us with any hidden fees, and do not charge a docking fee like other dealerships. The staff was very welcoming upon our entry, and very hospitable throughout the entire process. Our sales rep was very thorough in listening to our needs to make sure we found the perfect vehicle for our family. After we had chosen a vehicle, and we had gone through the entire sales process our used car was given to us looking and smelling like a new car. We had an overall very pleasant experience at Hove, and would definitely suggest them to our friends and family.

We were looking for a used vehicle online when we stumbed upon Hove. The price posted online was the legitimate price of our vehicle, and there were no hidden fees nor dock fees like at other dealerships. The employees were very welcoming, and treated us like people instead of targets. Our sales consultant was very thorough in finding us the right vehicle for us, and was knowledgeable about their products. The sales process was painless, and we were given a tour of the facility where we met the technicians in the service department and given a welcome packet including a free oil change. It was an overall pleasant experience, and we would recommend Hove to all.

I worked with John McAuley at this dealership and it was a breeze. I love cars but hate car dealerships. So I am always looking for a dealership that will treat me with respect and provide me straight forward, honest answers. This includes how much is the car really. What are the additional fees? Tax rate, etc. I want to be able to update my own spreadsheet and not have xxxxx. Hove was great. No hidden fees. No document fees. Just straight dealings. John was very available to me via email - my preferred method. I would definitely recommend Hove Nissan and John.

Drove 150 miles from Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. My wife and I were very satisfied with the whole experience at Hove Nissan. Our sales person was John McAuley. He was quickly able to put a deal on the table for our new Titan that made us feel good about coming to Hove for the first time. I did an e-mail contact to see if there was an interest in trading my 2011 PRO Titan for a 2015 SL. There was a quick response with e-mails and phone calls. That weekend we went to Hove and met some good people. No pressure deals, no one trying to force something on you, it was more like talking to friends.Would I go back to Hove? Well when its time to get our next new Titan, thanks to sales manager Julie Lepp (who knows more about under the front passenger seat of Titans than I ever knew), finance manager Terry schwartz (although he wouldn't give us his shopping carts, he did come up with THE DEAL that we wanted.), and last but not least John McAuley for being probably the best and easiest going salesperson I have ever work with to purchase a vehicle, I will go back to Hove Nissan. Iv'e been spreading the word here in the Falls to go to Hove. Bottom line......the money I saved made it worth the trip ten times over.

We had been to a few dealerships in Indiana and were very disappointed in the knowledge of the staff and some issues with their cars. We had looked online and seen Hove Nissan had the exact car we were looking for! My wife called and talked to the salesman Jim Verthein, who informed us they did have the car and we were welcome to test drive it. As soon as we pulled in the parking lot Jim had the car pulled up front, all waxed up and ready to go. Jim spent at least 30 mins going over all the features of the murano. After the test drive he asked what we thought and we decided to go inside and make a deal. The process was great, we got a great deal that other dealerships could not match, needless to say Jims great customer service was a huge selling point. We put down a deposit and picked up our brand new 2015 Nissan Murano the next morning! We were very pleased with the whole experience and would recommend them to anyone!

We Had been to a few dealerships but we're not happy with the staff or the quality of the cars. My wife had contacted Jim Verthein, our salesman and he informed us our car was in stock and we were welcome to test drive it. Upon arrival the car was sitting up front all waxed and full of gas. Jim spent 30 minutes going over all the features and then let us test drive it. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. After the test drive we went inside to discuss price, they were able to offer us a great deal that no other dealership could match, and we had been to 3 other dealers prior! We put down a deposit and picked up our brand new 2015 Nissan Murano the next morning. Best car dealership that I have ever dealt with!

We just got our new 2015 Murano at Hove Nissan, we traded in a Murano that we had also purchased there. Our older Murano was always serviced at Hove and Tom in service always took great care of us. Our new Murano is a great car. I drove one in Dec at Hove and my wife and I decided it was time to trade. Julie in sales said they had one coming in in late Feb that had the specs we wanted. The end of Feb I met with Julie, and her and I were able to make the deal in about 45 minutes. The next day we picked up the car, Terry did all of our paper work, it went very smooth. Seth then went over everything in the new car with us, he is very knowledgeable, took all the time needed to answer all of our questions, he was very polite and patient. To say that our salesman Josh was patient and helpful would be an understatement. We started our search for a new car six months before we made the purchase and every time we stopped in we were treated with exceptional courtesy, he never tired of seeing us. We told Josh that we were considering the Rogue SV in comparison to some other vehicles but that we liked what we saw. He did not pressure us but just made himself available. He was, and still is after the purchase, readily available to answer our questions, including giving us a detailed rundown on the how to use the many technical electronic features. We took advantage of their internet pricing and got a great deal. They even honored a quote on our trade in a month and a half after they gave it. Terry the finance manager was also great to work with and made everything go as smooth as possible. This is our second Nissan, our previous was an Altima which was also an excellent vehicle. All in all I would highly recommend the Hove dealership as well as the Nissan line.

Normally, when we buy a car from a dealer, I walk away feeling like we've been cheated somehow. Not this time. John McAuley, and the staff at Hove Nissan, were friendly, honest, and seemed genuinely concerned with our comfort and satisfaction. I haven't purchased a car in years and honestly, I don't remember it being this easy. Nothing against Nissans but, I purchased a used 2010 Toyota Sequoia. The team was friendly and worked to the very last minute before closing on a Holiday to make sure that my deal was done. This is the SUV I wanted for a decent price. My only issue was the Warranty that I had to purchase which raised my note another 50+ but, all else went great. Thanks Guys for your help.

My experience at Hove Nissan was the best car buying experience I have ever had. The salesmen Seth and RJ, sales manager Dennis, and finance manager Terry went above and beyond my expectations. I had been trying to find a specific new Nissan for a few weeks and my local Nissan dealer didn't provide much help in trying to locate it for me. After checking inventory online and reading the great reviews of Hove Nissan, I gave them a call. I spoke with the salesmen Seth and he was very helpful over the phone and managed to get the same deal at Hove that I had already worked out at my local dealer. They even gave me the same trade in value for my car that my local dealer quoted me without seeing it first because of how far away I was. Seth was able to hold the car I was looking for until the next day when I was able to get to the dealer. When I got there I felt very comfortable and never felt pressured at all. They never tried to get my to buy anything additional for the car. All they did was offer me the extended warranty, gave me the brochure, said look it over and said let us know if you want to go with it within 10 days. RJ and Seth were very thorough when showing me how everything worked in the car before I left. Dennis and Terry were very professional when going over my trade in and the finances for the car. It was the smoothest car buying trip I have ever had and this was my 7th car purchase to date. I would definitely recommend going to this dealer, you will not be disappointed! I will go see them again whenever the next time I am in the market for another car. Thanks for everything Hove!

Our experience at Hove Nissan was fantastic, we ended up buying a 2014 Nissan Murano. Our saleman was RJ Lancaster, but he wasn't really a saleman. He talked us through the buying process and what type of options we had. He wasn't pushy nor sales oriented. He wasn't traditional car salesman, he wanted to listen and take our time. It took us a couple weeks to decide, and then we were able to get everything ready over the phone and pick up our brand new car on a Saturday. The finance employee, Terri, was great. He was upfront with additional offers that could be included, and we declined. So he didn't pursue, and he was able to change our due date. He had all the paperwork ready and we were in and out in 5 minutes. Overall it was a terrific experience. I would recommend the staff and Hove's to anyone.

Ivan contacted me immediately after my internet inquiry and was very nice. RJ went out and checked out the car and told me it'd be worth my long drive to see it (he was right). Ivan had it cleaned and ready for us, was super nice, very knowledgeable of the vehicle and was a pleasure to deal with. My husband and I met John McCauley at Hove in Bradley, he was very efficient and patient whilst we were making a decision about which car to purchase. We traded in our 350Z for a more winter friendly vehicle. We got a fair price for our trade in and purchased a used 2008 Pontiac G6. At the time of purchase we asked John if they would take care of a couple of imperfections, car booked in few days later, picked up a few days after and wow, perfect workmanship, could no longer see the imperfections. Was very happy with after sales as had to take vehicle back for a minor issue, but they were so helpful and gave me a courtesy car. Overall very happy with Hove Nissan and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

I contacted between 5 and 10 Nissan dealers around Central Illinois and the Chicago area regarding pricing for a Nissan Leaf. I didn't want to come to the dealer, I just wanted pricing information. RJ Lancaster at Hove responded promptly and gave me the exact information I asked for (which wasn't as common as you would think). Their price was very good and we got to that price immediately. Then we discussed the value of my trade in. Hove gave me a very good price sight unseen, based on my honest assessment of a 10-year old vehicle in good condition. Of course, they asked a number of questions about the car's condition, but they gave me a price without me having to go there. When I arrived at the dealership, things moved quickly and as described. I was very happy with the experience.

I found the exact car I was looking for online via AutoTrader, and it took me to Hove's website. I called them up immediately and they were very friendly and helpful over the phone. I learned about the car and it's history, and was able to make a decision on purchasing the vehicle before I even made the trip to the dealer. I got an awesome price on a barely used 2013 Altima. I drove about 100 miles to get there, and everyone was expecting me when I arrived. It definitely had a very friendly atmosphere. RJ was very knowledgeable of the car, and very easy to work with in getting everything finalized. I would definitely recommend Hove Nissan.

Purchased a 2002 Ford F150 November 30,2012 and found blown head gasket December 17,2012. When asked what Hove will do to make this right, I was told "what do you want met to do about it?" In discussions with other dealers they have said they'd have at least repaired the truck at their expense in the time frame that this has happened.

It would be nice when the dealership put a car on the internet..to disclose everything wrong with the car..since gas prices are not cheap..allow the consumer to decide whether th drive far to come see the car..in most cases ..most people would not..but the salenan when called pretty much lie and say nothing may be wrong with the car to only drive 40 or so miles to find the car is a piece of junk..and then don't even offer gas money..

When a dealership decides to sell a used car they should first make sure the care is safe to drive.NO Cracked Windshields.No check engine lights..at least erase it...and make sure all doors open up.....from the OUTSIDE...GAS is not cheap these days..Many people see your cars online and many live far away..but for a good deal will come in to buy a car..make sure these safety items are on your website so people can make their own decision to make the long haul out there to take a look at the car..In My humble opinion..the dealership should compensate folks for their gas especially.if they're not going to be upfront about the vehicle when u call about it..

I never thought I would find a car buying experience enjoyable, but that is exactly the way I would describe my experience with everyone at Hove Nissan.Everyone there was very friendly and hard working, from the sales people to the sales manager, all the way down to the porters working in the service area.They took their time to work with me and listened to all of my wants and needs, and patiently dealt with me as I drove and looked at several different vehicles that I was interested in.I'm happy to say that I am now the proud owner of a used 2006 Nissan Altima 2.5 S that is basically in show room condition and has only 50,000 miles on it, and I got it at a great price.They have a huge inventory of new and used vehicles there, and have some of the best prices Iv'e ever seen, and at no time did I ever feel pressured by anyone there.I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for either a new or used vehicle, and they have made a life long customer in me.

My husband and I drove from 2 hours away after I spoke to RJ on the phone about a 2007 Ford Focus and he was straight forward and honest (I know a car salesman being honest right???) Everything he said about the car and our trade in was exactly true and we purchased the car that day. It was the easiest transaction on buying a car I have ever had. RJ is a honest person and it was a pleasure to do business with hm. I had a problem within the first few days of buying the car but Hove stood by us and fixed it right away for us. I would be happy to do business with RJ and Hove in the future! UPDATE: We have owned our car for 10 months and we couldn't be happier. The few minor problems we have had with the car the extended warranty has kicked in and we have a small deductible to pay, that's it! I will be looking for another car in the near future and RJ is the only person I want to purchase a car from. He made our first trip worth the drive and I am looking forward to dealing with Hove Buick and RJ again. "

I travelled over 100 miles to visit this dealer. I was dealing with them via internet and their follow up was timely and comprehensive. RJ Lancaster was outstanding. The cars I wanted to view and drive were ready and there was no "down time". On my journey there I picked up a nail or something in my tire...when we noticed it was low RJ arranged to have the tire repaired while we test drove cars. Although I did not buy I was impressed and satisfied with the whole experience. I offered to pay for the repair and they let it go at no charge! I can say that when attempting to purchasing a used car, trust is essential. My experience, from start to finish, at Hove couldn't have been better. I had been to a few other local dealerships in the area, but my experiences didn't even come close to the level of customer service I received at Hove. Julie was incredibly helpful and obviously very knowledgeable about the inventory on your lot. The finance process was as equally painless and I felt very comfortable with the bottom line. I ultimately ended up purchasing a used Altima and I couldn't be happier with it's performance. I live about an hour and half away from Hove now, but will continue to show my patronage because of the level of service they provided.

Bad guys sell bad cars ! They advertised a 1970 corvette convertible in autobuy - I had contact with a guy called landcaster he was the salesman - Im from germany and so I ask him about the condition of the car. He response very good condition no damage - paint and everthing in very good condition. This I got printed by serveral emails also for documentation he send me about 33 photos. I bought the car because I trust a dealership which sells also cars from Nissan and GM ! But what I received after a few weeks over here was a great piece of s**t !The car has serveral demages - the paint was very bad - the electrical has many bad circuts - and at all as we take the car on a lift we see that this car has had a very bad accident and the frame has a big demage.But this is not all the bad demage was repaired by stupid people so bad that you can throw the car on a junkyard !This company ripp me off 22.000.-- $ for a frame demaged corvette and they don`t feel bad !Serveral emails I send - getting no response - and Im sure they know that they sell a piece of s**t !My warning about them - don`t trust what they say - I have to go to a layer to get my money back !This is a fround - they sell a car what has a very bad accident for a lot of money !
