I called over 5 Hyundai dealership and this one was the only one that took the time and patience to help me find the vehicle that I wanted. Even with all the limitations Heather came through from me. I recently visited Hyundai of Anderson on a busy Saturday morning with a specific urgent need (headlight burned out and needing to drive that night) without an appointment. Since the technicians were fully booked for the day, Delaney, the employee at the service desk, was very helpful, and was able to locate and replace the bulb himself, and he sent me on my way with my problem solved! I have been using this service department for about 8 years since I’ve owned my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe (the BEST car I’ve ever owned). I have always received excellent, professional, efficient customer care and service, and I especially appreciated Delaney’s help when I really needed it! I will be back again and again!

I stopped by close to closing time a few weeks ago to look at vehicles with no intention of talking to anyone. I was met by Sholanda who was willing to stay late and answer any questions we had about Hyundai. She introduced us to James, the Sales Manager. They tracked down the exact vehicle I was looking for and had it ready in a couple of days at an awesome price. The staff here will do everything in their power to make your car buying experience pleasurable, and follow up with any issues to ensure they are resolved. Very friendly and awesome amenities while you wait. The “kids corner” kept my kiddos occupied the whole wait. There’s an Atari machine, coffee station, massage chair, and even a work station with provided Chromebooks. I’m always hesitant to take my car to the dealership service department, but I’ve always felt like they’ve taken good care of me and not overcharged.

In general the sales experience was ok. However, the 'need' to sell a car, to drive to make sure that we did not leave the dealership without a sale, did help to create a situation that led me to a financial disadvantage with regards to my available budget. Hopefully I will not have to endure much hardship or have any regrets with my purchase. I would recommend the dealership further, but with the warning that EVERY line and number in the paperwork be proofed and that any spoken offers be noted and signatured even before the official paperwork is printed out. It would also be helpful if some of the information were clearly and directly presented as opposed to being buried in monthly payment info. I realize that it is sales strategy to present a sale in 'affordable monthly payments' as opposed to how much money is truly being paid out, but when the clear and simple question "How much does the car cost?" is repeated twice, then there should be a direct AND correct answer. I wish you mcuh success, I wish us much satisfication with the automobile, and I hope for a good Seller/Customer relationship. :-)

Since dealership sells the car I drive, it should not take two business days to get a tire. I ended up having to miss work due to this mess up by service center. Kept being promised but promises did not come through and the kicker at the end was they were going to charge me for name brand tire which was $100.00 more than the $89.00 tire they put on my car. Thank goodness this error was caught before I over paid for a cheap tire. Also, when a new tire is put on the car the customer should not have to ask why the tire light is still on in car. They had to drive car back in garage pump up tires, drive it around block to make sure light was off. This should have been taken care of after tire was placed on car since that the reason car was in shop to start.

These people are out of the 1950's where integrity, honesty and doing what you say is important. I couldn't be happier. The people I met went out of their way which included driving 30 miles to pick me up since I sold my car in California and didn't know the area, providing a vehicle until they could locate exactly what I wanted and giving me the price that was verbally agreed upon. It will not matter where I live, California, South Carolina or somewhere else I will never buy a vehicle from another dealership except HYUNDAI OF ANDERSON

Stopped in for a defective piece of trim to be replaced, and was there only long enough to drink my coffee they graciously provided. Melissa is so efficient, and the entire staff accommodating. Was in, repaired, out, and on the road again in less than 30 minutes with repair completed and a like-new auto! These folks really know what they are doing!!!

I think it is important to offer small gestures that show your appreciation to your customer base. Like a quick rinse off of the car and vacuuming of the floor mats after servicing. This is not unreasonable and it sets the dealership apart from all the quick lube service centers (actually some even give this courtesy) So when we are inconvenienced, as I was yesterday, due to a mishap done by the dealership...we as customers would be more understanding. Lastly, cashiers are like hostesses. They are the greeters and the last impressions the customer is left with. They should not have to multitask to the point that they seem too overwhelmed to be the business's customer service reps. or dare I say "ambassadors".

We had a great first time car buying experience purchasing our 2015 Santa Fe Sport at Hyundai of Anderson. James Speakman was a pleasure to work with and we will certainly recommend Hyundai of Anderson to friends and family searching for a new or used car! We were greeted at the door and immediately shown to the specific vehicle we had expressed interested in and took a nice, long test drive before settling in and hammering out the rest of the details. We had also noticed a few knicks and scratches in the exterior paint, and they offered to retouch these spots for next to nothing. The overall price of the car was very fair and competitive, and we were pleased with the friendly service we received. We are mostly satisfied with our experience at Hyundai of Anderson. Our only disappointment with our experience was finding out after having negotiated and signing all papers that our car only came with one key/key fob and that it would cost hundreds of dollars to purchase an additional key fob, as a regular key is not an option. Clearly, a second key is necessary if we were to become locked out, lose the only key, have the key stolen, etc. We're still working to resolve this issue and feel strongly that two keys should have been provided with our purchase.

We had the opportunity to deal with James Speakman when we recently went to "look" at new cars. We already had previously good interactions with the Anderson Hyundai dealership, salesman, and service department with our previous Elantra. James showed us the new Elantras and all the new technology available. We were most impressed with the new safety features. James was not pushy but did encourage us to see if we could come to an agreeable price if we got a new car. We were happy with our Elantra but willing to buy a new one if the price were right. James worked with us, and the manager until we came to a reasonable agreement. Needless to say we drove away with a new Elantra. He was great at explaining everything and answering our questions.

We bought a new hybrid car on 7/23/16. They financed it for 6 years according to our monthly payment. they knew we are international students in graduate school- clemson university. They asked us to handover the copy of our visa later. everything was so nice until they give the car to us. Then later on 7/28/16 they said they want the vehicle back as we don't have visa until 6 years. They just said sorry. That is not nice way to treat a customer. If you have those rules you should check them at the beginning without hurrying to sell vehicles to customers. So bad feeling on Hyundai company-Anderson.

We took our Genesis in to have the CD player repaired and while they inspected it the console was nicked. When it was pointed out, their staff immediately ordered a new part and notified us of its arrival. They replaced the "nicked" part in short order. It was a very good ending to an issue that, at other dealers might have been an issue.

One thing: if you purchase a car from them, check the fuel level! They did not (nor did we, to be fair) until we left and had to get gas less then 4 miles from the dealership. Car was almost on empty. Really? Come on guys! Will visit them again, and certainly recommend! Good group of people.

I went that same day (June 10, 2016) and talked with the one of the sales associates. He got on it as soon as we sat down. He was nice and straight forward. He made my/my family's experience one to remember. He asked what we was comfortable paying and pointed us in the right directions. I came in for routine service on my 2009 Sonata and while I waited we met with James Speakman and Kristi Whitfield to look over the newer Hyundai vehicles. I have been extremely satisfied with my 5 speed standard shift Sonata, but knew an automatic would easier on me at this point in my life. After test driving a 2015 Sonata I was sold. Everyone I dealt with was very knowledgeable and professional. Almost as good as the new Sonata was the monthly payment...less than $210 a month!

Recently, we had some service on our Elantra (60K mile maintenance) and was picking that up and about to get it done on our Tucson. We were approached by Brian and at first, not really interested in purchasing a new vehicle (didn't think it would be near the same affordability). Brian worked with us and got us a great deal on a lease (which made sense for our situation .. close to how much we were already paying for the next 3 years). Personally, prior to this experience we had never considered a lease, but due to multiple reasons we decided to try it out (negative equity on old vehicle loan, large amount of maintenance needed at 60K miles, Carfax on old vehicle had bad history that we didn't know about - we'll do that before buying used again, vehicle not used for school/work therefore we didn't need to worry about lease mileage, better safely features than older 2009 Tuscon, ability to walk away after 3 years if vehicle isn't good or finance if we love it, no worry of major maintenance needed). Brian was easy to talk with, not pushy, and very attentive to what we were looking for. Highly recommended! Also, ever since I purchased my Elantra in 2010, we've been Hyundai fans (very little problems vs. other experiences - Toyota/Ford/Pontiac/GM and better warranty/price than Honda) ... I'll be looking for another once my Elantra reaches ~120K miles.

The entire Service Department at Hyundai of Anderson is incredible! Called on Monday early am for a possible afternoon appointment and Melissa got me right in, just as I hoped for, immediately after work. Car serviced, tires rotated, along with a much appreciated free car wash-all within an hour's time or less. This is my second Hyundai Tucson from this dealership, and I can't say enough about their entire service team; always personable , helpful, and timely with service. Truly, a great team!

Initially contacted the dealer through the TrueCar buying system (referred through Consumer Reports). Kristi responded right away, but rather than bugging us all the time to come in, she took the time to understand when we could make the 40+ mile trip in to the dealership and worked around us. The deciding factor between which dealership to visit was based upon how flexible and easy to work with Kristi was with us before we even arrived. From there, it was straight forward from test driving to best offers and done deal.

Two weeks ago my check engine light came on and my Sante Fe was making this knocking noise. I took it to the shop on a Saturday and my loaner car was a Genesis. Very nice! I have definitely been stylin' and profilin' these past two weeks. Anyway, turns out there was metal in my engine and oil pan, so I needed a new motor. Melissa with the service department was great about keeping me updated on the progress. This is the 2nd car I've leased with Hyundai of Anderson and I've always had a great experience with both sales and service. Highly recommended.

I have never had such a positive car buying experience in my life! I found my 2016 Sonata on line and handled most of the communication on the phone and computer. This was my first experience with the service center at Hyundai of Anderson. I loved being able to book an appointment online and not have to worry about waiting a long time at the dealership. My car buying experience at Hyundai of Anderson was the best car buying experience that I have had in 35 years of buying cars. Freddie Christian, Cynthia Owens, Greg Armstrong and Wesley Butts were all terrific. I was able to negotiate a fair price over the phone since the dealership is an hour's drive for me. They found me excellent finance rates as well. My wife and I drove over to Anderson on Wednesday evening after work and they had all of our paperwork ready. The prices and finance rate matched exactly what they told me over the phone so all we had to do was sign the papers and we were done. It was the quickest that I have ever gotten out of a car dealership! Freddie Christian spent a ton of time with us programming all of the neat features of the 2016 Tucson and explaining everything to us so we felt comfortable before we got on the road. The cargo cover was missing so he called me first thing the next morning and told me he had ordered it and would ship it to us to save a trip. Cynthia and Greg both reached out to me the next day to insure that we were satisfied with everything. An all around excellent experience and I would highly recommend Hyundai of Anderson!

This was my first time going into a dealership because of my past poor credit. I kept receiving letters that i was pre-approved for a loan through Capital One/ Hyundai of Anderson. I always had to keep getting cars off craigslist or buy here/pay here lots. Always end up with another car within a few months. I decided to take the last letter i received on New Year's Eve and go with it. I was greeted within a min of walking in the door. The salesman, James Speakman was very nice. He showed me a car or two, then instead of showing more, he/we decided to go inside and do a credit check to see what capital one would approve me for and take it from there. Long story short, we drove a Chrysler 200, 2012. He went over every detail of the car. He asked me how i liked it and i loved it. We went back inside and sat for a moment. James came back to me with an approval amount and what down payment was. I was shocked, i had tears coming down. NEVER have i been approved for anything. I am truly blessed. Went and filled out and signed the paperwork. I drove home in my new car that same night, January 1, 2016. My interest rate was like 24% with monthly pymts of 341.00. The next day, Cowboy, Manager of financing called me back and wanted me to come back in if possible. I went back that day he called me and he spent all morning trying to get me a lower % rate. And he DID it. He got me a 12.5% with a payment of 249.00 a month. These men are awesome. I am truly thankful for all they have done for me and i am loving my car. I will be telling everyone about them, my experience and hoping they to will go down there and purchase a car...thank you so very much gentlemen and happy new years to you and your family at Hyundai of Anderson.

I have no evidence of any problems with the servicing of my Sonata, however I can't help but suspect that the work was not all done, or not done efficiently when I brought it in to have 2 recalls taken care of. It seemed strange that I went in for 2 recalls, but when I picked up the car the receipt said 3 recalls had been taken care of! I never knew what the 3rd one was! Then just a week later the engine malfunction light comes on and I noticed the "jerking" when I accelerated! That too was diagnosed as "a recall" with no explanation as to what the actual problem was. I can't help but wonder if something was left undone on that first recall trip???? At any rate, the work was done and we were not charged for the work nor for the wrecker service to bring the car to Anderson! We are very thankful for that! We had assumed the transmission was failing and envisioned a huge expense. It was a blessing to find out that was NOT the problem and that Hyundai was taking care of the cost!

I went in for an oil change. I had already scheduled a tire rotation at another store for the same morning. The rotation was scheduled 1-1/2 hours after the oil change. After about 45 minutes past the oil change start I asked how soon the car would be ready because I had another appointment scheduled and it was a half hour drive to the next service. I got called after an hour in service and went over the bill to learn that I had received a free tire rotation...which was great BUT had I gone to the rotation place before I came to Hyundai to get my oil change, my tires would have been rotated right back to where they had been earlier that day. Had I not been told about the rotation (which I was), I would never have known the tires had been put back to their old positions!My only point is that free service is great, but it should be discussed beforehand to make sure the customer wants it and has time for it. This is not a complaint because it saved me a trip to the rotation place, but it should have been discussed ahead of time.

I scheduled a visit for my first oil change. I got there first thing in the AM, and the gentleman there was very friendly and helpful. I inquired on the cost to also rotate my tires. He informed me it was $10. I asked for that to be done also. At lunchtime when I went to pick up my car, it was ready and sitting right out front. I was NOT charged for the tire rotation, they went ahead and added that as a courtesy. I will definitely be taking my car here from now on. They are very friendly & efficient, and they don't make you feel like you are a burden to them, like a lot of other car service centers do.

I've been coming here for several years for service. The visit before my most recent one was very disappointing because I sat for 1-1/2 hours beyond my appointment time before my car was pulled into the shop. I told them about this when I booked this service on-line. When I pulled in, Kline Matthews came outside to greet me and immediately apologized for the previous wait, assured me this time would be different and got me in exactly on schedule. He had read my comments ahead of my arrival and was watching for me to make sure I knew he was aware of what happened last time. I ended up needing warranty work so I was given a loaner car. I was called by Melissa Stamps when my car was ready. Both Kline and Melissa were great to deal with...great attitudes and personalities.

I have had more than 1 bad experience at this dealership. My first was apparently my first purchase, but I did not know that until my most recent bad experience. I thought my first purchase was a great deal. But in looking at the numbers again and starting at the original sale price I found that the sale price on my 1st car, which was a basic Automatic Elantra with no extras, was higher than the Elantra Limited at the time. They basically added my trade in to the sale price. At the time I was un-informed and was only concerned about my monthly payments. This time I go to turn in my (leased) 3 year old car with very low mileage so that I can upgrade. I had a nice down payment and wanted to get into a Sonata. The dealership informed me I was upside down in my lease and they once again jacked up the sale price of the car. I was not as un-informed this time. I knew how the lease program worked and since my car was in immaculate condition with very low miles I could just hand over my keys and find my next car. I found the car I wanted but their payments were far too high and then I saw the sale price and almost lost it. Yet again they were jacking up the price to pad their pockets. I left and went to another Hyundai dealership where they treated my lease the proper way and got me in the exact same car with a few more bells and whistles and with a lower sales price and the monthly payments ended up $34 less each month than quoted at Anderson. It was worth driving a few more miles to get the better deal. Needless to say i will never go back to Hyundai of Anderson and neither will my mother who had her own bad experience buying from them. The only good thing I can say if the sales people are very polite, it's not their fault the powers that be like to take advantage of people.

michael and charles are just great i got there late in the evening from ga. about 100 miles away, we agreed to price and they stayed late so i could take car that day rather than go home and spend time with there family, they put the customer first even thought i didn't ask them to, i had no problem coming back the next day to pickup the hyundai but they wanted to keep me from having to do that. they put the customer first and i thank them for that.

A very unusual situation, but the great crew at Hyundai of Anderson were extremely accommodating. Time and friendliness was fine. Didn't get complimentary car wash as requested. I didn't go back in as it was near lunch and was meeting others. What good is a car wash if the employee can't get in the car and clean the inside windows and vacuum? Guess it is ok the outside wasn't cleaned either. Second time I was disappointed in service. First was when I purchased the car, was supposed to be washed and more info given on bells and whistles but everyone disappeared and the car wasn't washed. Not sure I would use this dealer if and when I make my next purchase. Considering I paid cash, with no financing, thought I would get better consideration.

I took my Santa Fe to have warranty work and normal service work completed last week. Melissa was the service writer and made sure that my experience with the service department was positive. I was kept informed during the wait. The work was completed in a timely manner. I was notified of what could not be completed do to the need to order parts and was told I would be notified when the parts arrived. My vehicle was washed and dried and brought back to the service area when the work was completed.

We had no idea which Hyundai we wanted, but were pretty sure that was what we would buy because of the warranty, style, and features. After driving three vehicles, we went home to think about it. Everything was smooth except for an incident that happened on the day of delivery. While driving the new Tucson, the hood became unsecured from the main latch and only kept closed via the safety latch. I stopped the vehicle to re secure the hood but it would not engage. I called the dealership for help but the service dept was closed and everyone else was stumped as to suggesting a solution. I went on line to a thread about owners with similar problems and found a way to fix. I recommend that salesmen and managers become acquainted with the problem and solution. It was very frustrating...

On three separate occasions I had my car serviced I've asked for services such as detailing car to replacing wiper blades and doing alignment and they failed to do it. I guess they don't like money? Have the annoying AC issues which they seem to not be able to reproduce even though I can drive it off the lot or show proof were other owners are having the same issue. They keep avoiding it. And the worst thing done other than NOT fixing issue is that they try to push me off on another dealership. Just doesn't sound like they care for business? On another occasion they wouldn't rotate my tires due to being worn. Back had 4/32 and I agreed to get tires but wanted the good worn tires up front till then. Had to argue over it. Long story short I asked for tire prices and was quoted a guesstimate by their mr kline. Called later date and left vm to call me with a quote on specific tires, still shoved away and no answer. Bought tires at walmart and had them put on. Oh well another business opportunity lost? Later to date AC not fixed, they didn't do my alignment asked after tires put on nor did they replace wiper blades or detail car! I was willing to pay! Mr kline when called pushed me off to another dealership, ok I'll take my business elsewhere. Just hope it's not the same management.

Next service is 100,000 miles and will cost and take much longer as there is quite a list of maintenance needed due to the mileage! We had purchased our Elantra from this dealership before it changed owners and I was completely devastated with the experience and never wanted to step foot in there again. Words alone cannot express the appreciation I have for this dealership! I bought my car in February and was in a wreck a week later (seriously... I cannot make this up) in which both of the other trucks were totaled. My Sonata needed some cosmetic work, but she was solid! That alone had me sold on Hyundai's. This week, however solidified my love of your dealership. I had an appointment to get my first service (oil and the works) and just an hour before, I hit one of the nastiest potholes around apparently because not only did it ruin my tire, it bent my rim. I was stuck on the side of the road and when my husband called to tell the service department what was going on, they were ready to send someone to help me. Luckily, my father-in-law was able to pump the tire up enough for me to get to the dealership. When I arrived, I was treated with such graciousness from Kline and the guys in the department. He was able to help me calm down and keep cool and assisted me as I navigated through the process of purchasing not one, but two new tires and a rim. The service was above and beyond what I could have imagined and I will forever be grateful for all that was done for me. Thank you doesn't seem enough. I can honestly say that I will never again buy anything buy a Hyundai and it will only be from this dealership! God bless!

I have done business with Hyundai of Anderson for the last 2 1/2 years. Until approx. one year ago I was very dissatisfied with my service experiences and would not have recommended either Hyundai or Hyundai of Anderson. Squeaks and rattles were not fixed and even worse the Service Department would not acknowledge they existed and when they finally could hear them they could not find them to fix. Too many trips to the dealer without results. I even considered giving up and selling my Genesis and going back to Toyota. Well, somewhere in the last year or so, things really turned around - for the better. Mike Deason became the Service Manager and now had someone focused on getting my car fixed and can fix it. My Genesis now drives like a dream and my service experiences are excellent. I feel a real customer focus. And I have a Service Manager I can trust. What a difference one person can make. I am now a fan of Mike Deason, Hyundai and Hyundai of Anderson. Life is Good again (and I saved a lot of money by keeping my Genesis)..

With life getting in the way, I get a email to remind me of getting my car in for maintenance. They get me in and out with washing my car for me less than 30mins. I had been having a long day, and it got worse when I locked my keys in my car. I called the Hyundai dealer just as a long shot to see if they could help me. They sent someone within ten minutes. I then headed straight to the dealership to get my oil changed. They changed it quickly and washed my car as well. UPDATE: The dealership contacted me a few days after this review went up, and has worked very hard to make the deal better. They gave me a much better price on the truck and some extras, and I ended up coming out of the deal with a nice truck for a good price. It's clear that they really care about having a good reputation in Anderson. They have also let me know that the salesman I worked with is not there anymore. The salesman I worked with the 2nd time around was really great and easy to deal with, and was very clear about the details of the purchase. Much appreciated. I'm refraining from bumping it to 4 or 5 stars until I see how it is dealing with them long term, but I have every reason to believe it will be positive.Under no circumstances should you deal with this dealership. They are extraordinarily dishonest. When you catch them being dishonest, they attempt to convince you that you just don't understand what's going on. In my entire history as a consumer with access to the internet, I have never felt the need to write a review until now. I have been looking for a truck in the Anderson area. This dealership had a pretty decent looking Dodge 1500 with low-ish miles. I went in and asked the salesman how much the truck was. He told me 15,400. I test drove the truck and applied for financing. During the entire test drive, the salesman wouldn't shut up about how much better and bigger his truck was than this one, and that I should buy a real truck.The salesman told me I was approved for financing, and handed me a piece of paper that said, "Purchase Agreement" on the top, and told me to sign it. I asked for a moment to look over the numbers, and he just kept pushing me to sign it. I am extremely glad I looked at it closely. Magically, the base price of the truck had increased to 17,000 (remember, they had told me the base price was 15,400), BEFORE taxes and their BS "admin fee" of $500. The bottom line price on a truck they quoted at 15,400, was now almost $18k, before financing cost. I asked the salesman about the increase, and he said, oh, no, that's just the taxes, and again pushed me to sign it, but finally admitted the price was wrong. I asked him what the APR was on the loan, and he wouldn't tell me. I asked him if someone there would know, and he said no. I did the math myself based on their payment plan, and the cheapest/shortest version of the loan came out to be 145% of their claimed cost of the truck. I asked again about the price, and the salesman said, "dont worry about it. It'll be 15400. just sign the paper." When I reminded him that the paper said $17k and I would be signing into owing them that amount of money plus tags and fees, he replied, "I said don't worry about it. just sign it." He refused to print a new agreement with the correct price on it. He again refused to tell me the APR of the loan or to direct me to someone in finance that would know. I walked on the deal. Not one, but TWO salesman followed me out to the parking lot and cornered me, telling me over and over how good of a deal it was and that I would never find a deal this good again. That they had 3 people who wanted to buy the truck if I didn't (the truck is still sitting there three weeks later, with good reason). They literally blocked me from getting to my vehicle to leave. I called them to speak with a manager about the situation, and I was told by the head sales manager that I was lying, that if i had asked for the APR they would have told me, and treated to a bunch of circular, evasive tactics to avoid the fact that they had been dishonest and had mangled my credit report in the process. First I was told that the purchase agreement wouldn't have tied me to anything, then I was told that it was a commitment to buy, but not a binding agreement on the loan, then I was told that it was a commitment to buy for the price on the agreement, but that I wouldn't have been asked to sign it without knowing all the details...which is a straight lie, because not only did the salesman repeatedly and aggressively push me to sign it, he refused outright to give me the information I asked for, or to amend the agreement to accurately reflect our verbal agreement. Do not deal with this business for any reason. Buy your car from someone else. Anyone else. If I could possibly give this place negative stars, I would.

I feel that this dealership has gone way beyond the normal in all ways. I received a great deal on a CPO hybrid sonata. I have also used the service department and feel they did a good job and have reasonable prices and most of all when I did have an issue come up after the sale they took care of it to my complete satisfaction. You can feel confident dealing with them that they care about their customers. Ask for Cynthia Owens or contact her on the internet and they will go out of their way to assist and find what you are interested in from the moment you arrive, at least that was my experience. Derek Patton was my salesman and he got me the best price on the car I bought without playing a lot of games like most car dealers do. I will definitely return when I need to purchase another vehicle or when my car needs service.

I have scheduled all my recent routine service here since I discovered this dealership about two years ago. They have done a great job on every visit. Most recently I was in for a recall notice that was estimated to take about an hour, so I chose to wait. Several weeks later Chad called to inform me that he found a spare set of keys and the owners manual. How many sales consultants would continue to help you after the sale is closed? Chad would. We needed a new car for our 20, 18, and 16 year old boys to drive to and from school and work. Needed to be a safe car, needed to be highly fuel efficient and it needed to have low maintenance costs. IT also needed to fit our budget. We did our research online and decided on a Hyundai Accent and set about looking for a nearby dealer who might be able to meet our needs. We found Lake Hartwell Hyundai and they were fantastic. We conducted most of the transaction over the phone and Joshua Trimble was excellent. He answered all my questions about buying a car in SC when I live in GA. He took the time to walk me through different pricing options I had and explained all of the features the specific model I was interested in had. He also gave me several options for securing the vehicle purchase, given I was 100 miles away and it was Saturday afternoon. Picked the car up on Monday. Buddy King and David Smoak were great, the faciliaties were excellent. I feel good about my car purchase from Lake Hartwell Hyundai.

Took my Hyundai in today for first oil change. When finished, Johnnie explained and showed me on the work order of the many things they check out in addition to changing oil and filter, including about 30 inspection points to make sure everything is OK. They leave you with a good feeling that your car is in good shape and ready for the road. The service technician checks every point on the work order to let you know he has inspected that point. Major inspections include all lights, wipers, cabin filter, horn, heat, battery, belts, transmission fluid, coolant and antifreeze, brakes, washer fluid, shocks and tires for proper pressure. Plus, a few other points. I'm glad I traded with L.H. Hyundai and will continue using their service department as needed.Charles W.

I have not in all of my buying cars,meet someone like these guys. He did not put pressure on me at all ,He acted like He already knew me that caused me to feel very relax ,everyone took time to smile and stop by where we were sitting,I had this problem it was not their fault I was so happy about the car I overlook something and still Mr. Burns took time to call someone for me ,such and awesome day Mr. Jushua explained al of the bussiness I needed to know and He answerd questions for me .It was great Mr. Burns took me on a test run,what makes that day joyful is I wanted a car by named ,That I thought was good but Mr. Jushua new what would be good for me and I would not get in a bind paying my bills.I never thought I was would be walking of the lot with a car ,special a 2012 1 owner 46943mileage He wanted to make sure it will fit in my budget,I really hope those that read this know that I am a woman that is trying to keep my budget up and not being sure about this found that this dealer is a awesome place to buy a car .And He cares about people will send anyone who needs a car to Him .

I was working with both a salesman and the Internet sales manager. After assuring me that I could put a deposit on the car until I got to the dealership, they sold the car to someone else! Didn't even have the courtesy to return my phone call and tell me. Just sent me an email telling me that the car was sold. Very bad customer service! I would never recommend this dealership. If you're looking for a car, don't trust this dealership. Shady!

It was a great experience all the sales men were really nice. Brandon was very helpful and even teaching me how to use the navigation, phone, etc in the car. I called within weeks about some paint that I had seen chipped however I only got directed to the service station I was hoping that it being a few weeks after purchase the dealership would cover. It was something I didn't notice until I had washed the car just a few little places on the hood. But other than that it was a great experience. I can't complain one bit about my time spent there or any of the sales man, I do recommend Lake Hartwell Hyundai to my friends.

Brandon was excellent. From the time we exited our vehicle upon arrival until we left, we could not have asked for better quality service. Brandon was very hands on, took the time to make sure our children were comfortable, by offering water and doughnuts, even changing the t.v. station to a kid-friendly station. Sean Van Horn and Brandon Debose knocked our socks off! We got an awesome deal on an awesome car that suits our family to a T. Plus, our payments were perfect, which surprised us considering what little credit I had. Would greatly recommend this dealership to anyone. Fast friendly service with such positive attitudes. Everyone there was as nice as they could be. The title clerk even came out and spoke with me personally and answered all my questions regarding tags and taxes. I have been looking for a nice used compact car for weeks and this morning I checked out used inventory at my local Hyundai dealer, Lake Hartwell Hyundai, noticed one that caught my eye, hopped in my car and was on their lot in 10 minutes. I was greeted by a nice young man, Brandon Debose, told him what i wanted to look at and we immediately went for a ride around town, Anderson SC. The Accent was a perfect fit for me as I do 99% of my driving locally. It looked as well as a new one and drove and rode great. Back on the lot I told Brandon that I liked the car and for him to work up a price for me. I was trading in my 2003 Buick Regal. I am now in my seventies and wanted a small car to wheel around in. While Brandon and the service manager were looking at my Regal I wrote down a figure that I would pay and put it in my pocket. When he brought their paperwork for me to look over it was several hundred over my price. I took my paper out of my pocket and showed Brandon and he then went back to the manager and came back with a figure just a few bucks over my price. I said "let's trade". While they were preparing final papers I went back home, unloaded my Buick, got my checkbook and went back to the dealer.It was the easiest trade I have ever made, and at my age, I've made a bunch of them. I am very happy with my Accent and will encourage others to see Brandon Debose and test drive a Hyundai at Lake Hartwell Hyundai. Thanks guys!Charles WilsonAnderson, SC

I'm writing as a follow-up to my earlier review. ... As background I live in Atlanta and found a used car at this dealership that my wife liked...we have agreed on the phone to a price which changed when we arrived... it was still a good car and though frustrated beyond belief at the time we still purchased the vehicle... In frustration i posted the original review which was completely accurate.Last week i received a call from the dealership owners representative that had read the email and called to discuss...she was very nice and did here own internal research and called back with wonderful news...that they were going to honor the original price and was agreed to over the phone. Today the check arrived.Their action tells me two things... #1 is stand-up for yourself and do the right thing and #2 people (in this case the owner of the dealership) that are themselves "stand-up" individuals given the information will also do the right thing.I would have deleted my previous review but could not figure out how to do so so I'm writing another review.
