My experience was entirely positive. I am very happy with my Genesis G80 and feel that it's features are intuitive and easy to use. Part of my comfort is due to the patient, expert and good humored indoctrination I received from Bill Germano who identified my wants/needs and then explained how the model G80 that I eventually leased met those wants/needs. From the moment I walked in the door to talk about my options to driving off in my new car, I had a fantastic experience. I've worked with a number of dealers in the past and felt like the dealers weren't being overly honest or had my best interests in mind; I had quite the opposite experience at Hyundai of Newport. I received what I felt to be very open and honest conversations with my salesperson, Sandy, and friendly and helpful support from each of the employees there I interacted with. I got a fair price and for once didn't dread a car dealer experience. I'll be recommending them to others in the future and look forward to working with them for other car purchases.

I found the perfect car for me on an internet car site that was listed for sale at Hyundai of Newport. I inquired about the vehicle through an app and Greg Slater responded within an hour of my request! I live about 1.5 hours away and didn't want to drive all the way over there for a car that was already sold or one that didn't look like the pictures. Greg made sure that the car was available for me when I arrived and it looked even better than the pictures showed. He met me as I got out of the car and immediately made me feel at home and at ease. He offered my family and I pizza in the showroom and drinks. The whole experience was zero pressure whatsoever. The car I wanted was listed for well below book value so there was no need to negotiate, which is great. In fact, the entire sale/trade in/finance process took less than 2 hours and I'm from out of state. I left in my new car with the transferred plates on a Saturday! Astounding. It just goes to show that the whole team is committed to making the car buying process quick and easy.

Service is efficient, however back in June when I went to buy out my lease, I was told by the sales girl that I owed $500 for cleaning and registering the car. I could have done this myself, but felt they coerced me into paying this fee. Probably won't buy here again...we also own the Sante Fe.

Stopped in about a week ago to get a patch for a nail in my tire, but sadly it was not in a spot that could be patched. While I was disappointed to have to buy a new tire (through no fault of theirs!) Anthony and the rest of the service team made my visit so pleasant and super fast! He was even able to help me out on the price, knowing that I came in only expecting to need a patch! This was far from the first great experience I've had with them, but Anthony helped to make it noteworthy! Thanks for everything!

As always, service was quick (done 10 minutes sooner than anticipated). Staff courteous, car left clean with my driver's seat in the position I left it. Love my car - had it just over a year now. Service rep reminded me that my next visit would be due for the 15,000 checkup and gave me a brochure with what to expect for services, costs, etc.I also noted how they treated another customer that the service department found multiple issues with this car. Customer apparently could not deal with the expense at that time and the staff did Not pressure him.

I had the best car buying experience ever at Hyundai of Newport last week, thanks to Greg Slater. It started with his prompt attention to an email query I sent after hours, which was answered immediately, and continued through the most professional, courteous and timely process of getting me into a new car after a nasty accident. At first I was hesitant to drive 2 hours all the way to Middletown, RI, from Connecticut but Greg and the dealership made it all worthwhile, including the out of state registration process, drop offs at a nearby rental, and completing everything, including sending another super-friendly person to take care of emissions and registration. In my mind, Greg set the gold standard for how to treat a buyer.

The salesperson (Dave) was very cordial and friendly. Very knowledgeable regarding the vehicle. He was recommended to us by a friend who had purchased a Hyundai earlier. I believe that the trade-in allowance was fair and the final price was good. The only negative was their failure to offer the .9% financing.

I was looking to buy a late model Santa Fe and I saw that Hyundai of Newport had a few of them at a reasonable price. So my wife, daughter, and I took the drive down hoping for the best, but expecting the same-old frustration that comes with buying a car. For the time we walked on the lot, Joe was courteous, pleasant, honest, and respectful. He went out of his way to make sure we got what we wanted and that we were 100% happy with our purchase. Even though we came in close to closing time and we didn't end up leaving until 1.5 hours after closing, we NEVER felt rushed or bothered. In my 25 years experience in buying cars, this was BY FAR easiest and nicest experience I've ever had. I am recommending to ANYONE and EVERYONE that if you are even CONSIDERING a Hyundai, take the drive down to Hyundai of Newport and talk to Joe.

I can no longer say the same! I will no longer recommend this dealership! very displeased this time around! I worked with Rohan at Hyundai of Newport to purchase a Sonata Hybrid Plugin. I live almost 500 miles away from the dealership, but they were the closest dealer that had the car we wanted. I was able to negotiate the details of the purchase over the phone. Rohan went out of his way to make sure that all the details of the purchase were correct before I made the trip to pick up the car. When I arrived, all of the paperwork was ready to go. There were no surprises or changes. Rohan was one of, if not the most professional salesman that I have worked with. He took time to talk to my family and I when we arrived and made us feel right at home. Leah, the finance/business manager was just as professional as Rohan. There was zero pressure to add any extras (extended warranty, paint protection, VIN etching, etc.) This the best car buying experience that I have had! Definitely worth the drive.

We decided to trade in our 2008 Sonata for a new vehicle. Upon arriving at Hyundai Newport, we were pleasantly greeted by Sandy Spanos who helped us through the process of not only buying our new vehicle, but also helping us to select the vehicle which would best satisfy our needs. Sandy is very knowledgeable in all aspects of the different models, and very patiently explained the differences between them to us. After listening and seeing the differences in them, it was easy to decide which model we would be happy with. Since the new technology was confusing to us, Sandy assured us that we could come by anytime to see him if we had any questions about anything. In the next couple of days, we did go back with questions, and he immediately helped us understand what we were confused about. Joe and John were also very helpful when Sandy was busy with another customer. We very much enjoyed working with Sandy and will be looking forward to working with again in the future.

I keep coming back because the sales staff not always finds a way to get me the best deal on a new vehicle, but also because I've come to understand what exceptional service is all about. I know my vehicle will be maintained in the best possible shape, and on the rare occasion I experience problems, I know they will go the extra mile to ensure the vehicle is fixed properly the first time, and every detail relating to the service of my vehicle is accomplished quickly and flawlessly AND at my convenience and with minimum effort on my part. Every member of the sales staff and the service staff goes out of their way to ensure you remain satisfied with your vehicle after the purchase. While most dealerships focus on giving you a great deal, most often the Great Deals and great service either stop completely or slow down after the purchase is made. At Hyundai of Newport, this is where the great service continues. They're always coupons coming in the mail, but the best part is that I am always greeted by a friendly staff member who puts my needs first. It seems to me that they consider servicing my vehicle a privilege, because that's the way I'm treated. It's important to me that I have a dealership who goes out of their way to make sure my car is maintained in the best possible condition AFTER I purchase it. Got a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe sport 2.0T AWD with ultimate package from them by the end of March 2016. Loved it so much as of today (April 25, 2016, I may not be able to stop posting in the future as my satisfaction continues). Thank Bill Germano and Alan Toti from Hyundai of Newport to make this happen.I have worked with many other Hyundai dealers, but got the best offer from them. Of course, negotiating price won't be easy and you need to do good homework, especially looking at true car price. Dealers want to make profit for a living just as we want to get the best deal with the money we earned by hardworking. I can't make more comments on price negotiation here because in my special case we talked about only one price from the very beginning. Once the price negotiation is done, no more hassles. I was actually preparing other fighting on the price, but nothing happened. They work very efficiently to finish all the paper work, get the registration and the financing. My initial credit application from Hyundai Motor Finance was rejected, but Alan and Bill turned it over.Some other comments:a. Their 'no negative review' on google+ really means something, especially for car dealer business. I don't quite believe it until I made a deal with them. b. Their building is not fancy at all compared with other Hyundai dealership. If you have some hesitation on this (along with many other hesitations when you are a first car buyer, just as me), here is the point: this might be a reason they can offer a more competitive price, because car buyers eventually pay for the fancy buildings. c. Last but not least, give them a try before you get a Hyundai. I may worth your 2 hour driving to get there.

Over this past weekend my boyfriend and I stopped at the dealer to just look around. Before I even got out of the car Sandy was walking towards me and introducing himself. This was my first time working with a dealership to buy a car, so I don't have much experience but have heard many horror stories. Sandy was the Nicest, Most Honest, Most CARING, and helpful person I have ever met. I was between a 2015 used and a brand new car, he could tell I was interested more in the 2015 and suggested me some great options on how to get the best out of both worlds. Even though going with the 2015 wouldn't get him a 10 out of 10 survey, he would have gotten from me.(I found that out later when i asked for the survey, because I wanted it to be known how great he was). My boyfriend has worked with many dealers around town buying trucks for a business he works for and said that Sandy was by far the best he has ever worked with. He accommodated all of our time and got us exactly what we wanted. I just can't stress enough how awesome the day was and it was in large part to him. We also worked with a manager I believe his name was Joe who was very nice and worked the numbers with us and was very accommodating. The woman who helped us with the loan was also very nice, She was personable and had a great personality. (tall, blonde hair) Overall for my first experience buying a car from a dealer, I do not have one bad thing to say and can't say enough good. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! WOW! What a great experience! I went to Hyundai of Newport hoping to get an older vehicle that I could afford. I was greeted by a smiling gentleman Sandy Spanos. He showed me a 2015 Elantra and we went for a test drive. I loved the car but told Sandy I could never afford it. He said not to worry. After hitting a few snags because of my financial situation Sandy got general manager Jon Narcession involved. Jon was great! He said he would find a way to make it work and he did! 2 hours later I owned a 2015 Hyundai! WOW! I must also mention Leah Townsend the business manager who was so helpful. She also worked the deal to make it happen and got me an unbelivible rate and it even included gap insurance! Sandy even shoveled out my car after a snow storm the next day when I picked it up! When I finally made it to the dealership to discuss price, packages, color etc David was able to find my exact need out of state. I was excited but wanted to wait a couple of days to think about the purchase. I did not feel any pressure for David or his manager. I did not hear the typical line of "well we might not be able to do this deal at a later date", " or the car might be gone". Once I decided to go forth with the purchase, David arranged to have the car driven in from out of state, he contacted my insurance agent, spoke to his finance officer, so that when I went back in to actually drive My New Genesis Coupe home all I had to do was sign on the multiple dotted lines. I did not have to wait around for hours while they worked out all the paper work. Everything was professional, easy and with out pressure. I will in the future be taking advantage of their car service. Hyundai of Newport will actually drive a car to your home leave you the car & take yours in for service so you do not have to be inconvenienced. I have always had suv's up until recently. My very tired Volvo was needing to be replaced. I talked with friends who had purchased cars over the last year or 2 and many of them were Hyundai's and of those Hyundai's, the vast majority of them had been purchased from Hyundai of Newport. I visited the dealer in the middle of February 2015 on several occasions. On each occasion ,the interactions that I encountered with the sales ( as well as finance) staff were beyond stellar. They answered all of my questions with very good detail so that after 2 visits I was ready to purchase. The car I selected was a blue Hyundai Elantra Limited. The process was smooth and seamless . To say that I am pleased would be a gross understatement. From the sales\finance staff to the service department staff, I can truly say that I have never met a group of more friendly, knowledgeable and honest and direct people in my life. Hyundai of Newport takes impeccable care of you when you buy your car there and they continue that care when you bring your car in for scheduled maintenance \service. It is always easy to get an appointment at a good time and if by chance you can not stay with the car, and need to get to work, they will supply you with a loaner car ( almost brand new Hyundai's kept in pristine condition.) that you can keep until your car is ready. AND, if you are unable to get your car into Hyundai of Newport for service, Hyundai of Newport will send a driver out with a loaner car to your area ( Jamestown\Aquidneck Island area) and swap cars with you leaving you with the loaner and taking yours into for service. he will repeat the process for you ( if needed) when your car is ready. Unless I was far away, there is no way that I would ever take my car to any other location for service other than Hyundai of Newport. They set the bar of excellence to the highest possible level and in my opinion all Hyundai Dealers should follow their model. I personally can not believe that I waited this long to get my first Hyundai. A final note.. Many dealers will add ( either as a sticker on the back of the car or some sort of license plate frame indicating where the car was purchased. In the past I have never had a thought one way or the other and usually removed them. I have kept the license plate frame from Hyundai of Newport on my car and it will stay on there until it wears out. I am very proud to let other's know where I purchased my Hyundai and l can 100% say that I will always buy Hyundai's and I will always buy them at Hyundai of Newport. From the sales\finance staff to the service department staff, I can truly say that I have never met a group of more friendly, knowledgeable and honest and direct people in my life. Hyundai of Newport takes impeccable care of you when you buy your car there and they continue that care when you bring your car in for scheduled maintenance \service. It is always easy to get an appointment at a good time and if by chance you can not stay with the car, and need to get to work, they will supply you with a loaner car ( almost brand new Hyundai's kept in pristine condition.) that you can keep until your car is ready. AND, if you are unable to get your car into Hyundai of Newport for service, Hyundai of Newport will send a driver out with a loaner car to your area ( Jamestown\Aquidneck Island area) and swap cars with you leaving you with the loaner and taking yours into for service. he will repeat the process for you ( if needed) when your car is ready. Unless I was far away, there is no way that I would ever take my car to any other location for service other than Hyundai of Newport. They set the bar of excellence to the highest possible level and in my opinion all Hyundai Dealers should follow their model. I personally can not believe that I waited this long to get my first Hyundai. A final note.. Many dealers will add ( either as a sticker on the back of the car or some sort of license plate frame indicating where the car was purchased. In the past I have never had a thought one way or the other and usually removed them. I have kept the license plate frame from Hyundai of Newport on my car and it will stay on there until it wears out. I am very proud to let other's know where I purchased my Hyundai and l can 100% say that I will always buy Hyundai's and I will always buy them at Hyundai of Newport. The salesmen who assisted me, Sandy Spanos and David Brock, were absolutely wonderful. Very professional, knowledgeable and patient with my numerous questions. I never felt pressured to make a decision immediately. It wasn't a difficult choice, the 2016 Tucson was the clear winner among all the cars I had looked at. They made the entire process of purchasing effortless. Sandy made sure my phone was linked to the voice recognition system, my garage door opener was synced to the remote on the mirror, and explained how all menus worked before I drove my beautiful new car off the lot. The car was taken in quickly and the work performed in similarly timely fashion. The car was washed, surprisingly, the interior of the windows were cleaned as well, and I was done in 90 minutes. I first need to give credit to the three gentleman that helped us, which were Dave, Alan, and Scott. They were beyond amazing from start to finish and we were not pressured into anything by them even once. Everything was on our terms and was clearly explained to us. And they were all incredibly pleasant to deal with. We were greeted at the door, received a brief tour of the facilities, and were advised to grab anything we'd like from their hot dog and snack buffet set up (they do this every Saturday!). Dave then proceeded to let us take a look at any cars we liked, let us test drive a few, and helped me narrow down what I really wanted without swaying me in one direction or the other. I honestly don't have much to say about the buying process because Alan and Dave made it SO quick and easy! I didn't pay any more than I was willing to and there was NO haggling or anything of the sort. The process flew by, I left with a brand new 2016 Hyundai Elantra, and the staff could not have made the process any easier! The staff at Hyundai of Newport completely changed my idea of what the car buying process is like. They are leaps and bounds ahead of every other dealership I've been to in respect to their customer service and relations. I picked out the cars I wanted to see at their website, drove over the bridge in my old car & drove home in my new car. They had three of the 4 cars available. The staff were not high pressure or intimidating. I will go there again should my next vehicle also be a Hyundai. I will bring a notebook to write down all the details of how to use all the electronics. There is so much to learn it is a bit overwhelming. Maybe Hyundai should offer a class for us not so savv, technically speaking.

For the first time ever in a car dealership I felt like a customer and not like a person off the street ordering a hamburger to go, get 'em in, get 'em out. The salesman Sandy really listened to my needs and my absolute wants and had to haves. He found me a car in less about 2 weeks keeping my wish list in mind and my financial boundaries. I came in on a Saturday for a test drive and to talk about other cars I had researched not expecting to buy a car that day but the car and the offer were just too good to not take. They were in no hurry to push me through and out the door and I felt like I could have been invited to a family dinner if it were being prepared. Any slight adjustments to the car have been quickly attended to and I feel secure in my purchase. I spent 13 years in my former Hyundai Santa Fe and hope to get at least 5 out of my new (used 2008) Santa Fe. Very professional and knowledgeable staff. Did not try to push the newest or more expensive model - looked at what I wanted. Explained the maintenance packages in detail, but did not push us to get the extended warranty (which we did anyway as I hope to keep the car for more than 5 years). Really appreciated the separate Car Clinic where the warranty and maintenance issues were discussed in more detail and we met some of the service staff who answered several questions for us. This clinic was very helpful. The day of purchase, the franchise owner was on the premises and met with us and thanked us for our business. Service department is very helpful - I had already sustained some front end damage after two weeks. The damage was beyond what the service department could handle so recommended a very reputable collision repair company. I appreciate the company's policy of picking up a car for service and giving the customer a loaner if necessary (even though I live over 20 miles away). My initial visit to this dealership was based on the high recommendation of a friend who had purchased a vehicle from this dealership. The experience at the time of the sale and the service department's program and everyone's professionalism, would make me recommend this dealership to others. I've done business in the past with another Hyundai dealership that I would never go back to due to the sales staff and difficulties at times with the service department. Newport has it hands down for professionalism.

From the time I arrived on site, Nick and the Finance Manager, Scott were both great. We discussed many options and were able to come to an agreement in a short period of time. Five days after purchasing the car, I noticed the tires didn't seem as safe as I originally thought. They asked me to bring the car in and have the Service Manager look at it. He came out and looked and informed me that the tires in question would be changed. The service was excellent, they provided a loaner car or offered to come pick up the car during the process. I have very high praise for this dealership sales, service and finance team. I will buy from them again.

IA 60,000 mile maintenance was scheduled. I was checked in at 7:30. Since the maintenance was a lengthy one and I needed to satisfy som earlier appointments, I was provided a"loaner" car. The estimated completion time was 12:00. I completed my tasks and was informed that the work was done. I returned the "loaner", paid the bill and was on my way, as promised. No surprises.

The Elantra I owned gave 3 unwelcome indications in one day; low tire pressure, check engine and a temperature gage excursion from cool to hot and back to cool. I called Newport Hyundai and got an early AM appointment. I took it in and they dispensed with all 3 issues quickly. The low tire pressure was an unseen nail, the computer did record the temperature excursion with no causality. Spuriou reading. The check engine light was remedied by installation of a software upgrade requiring no mechanical repair. Concerns relieved in less than 2 hours. Yippee.

Friendly customer service, and seemingly accommodating-until you need actual help from them. Made several trips to fix a few things on my car, they denied helping and wanted proof. I went to a ford dealer and other mechanics and got my car diagnosed by each place with the same issue and they still wouldn't admit anything was wrong- all within my 30day warranty of buying a car from them, as well. Lazy, useless and horrible customer service. The saddest part is they paint this picture that they care about you, but you're just another number, here. I never write bad reviews either, I always try to give benefit of the doubt to places- but we've given this place more than enough chances. Done here.

When I walked in no 1 could wait on me! After bout 20 mins I was walking around the show room and Sandy came up to .He has a heavy accent so it was hard to understand him. When we did find a car that I kinda liked we went over to the manager so he could show me figures on the car.The manager kept yesing me and still after I asked 4 times to see numbers on the car that he couldn't produce he said that I'm kind of a lil arrogant ! Because I asked questions. He then said to me good luck else where and "don't let the door hit you in the xxx on the way out !" In front of other customer's!

I searched the internet looking for the exact car that I was looking for. I had strict criteria & part of that was to deal with a car dealer that I felt that I could trust ( I was checking out the dealer reviews on line after I would find a vehicle). I found my dream car (used) at Hyundai of Newport. I called on it & found out it was still available & asked very specific questions about the car as it was 10 yrs. old & like finding a needle in a haystack. Greg answered my questions very truthfully. I drove 8 hours to look at the car & found it to be exactly as described, purchased the car & asked them to hold it for me for a week so that I could return to the dealership & pick it up. I could not have asked for a more cooperative dealership to work with, they held the car for me as requested, got a "transport" plate for it & I drove it home the following week over 350 miles without a hitch. There were no gimmicks, games or other B.S. to deal with when dealing with this team. Also on my 1st trip, the guys at the dealership found me a better route home that saved me 2 hours. I got a great no hassle deal, the car of my dreams & some new friends all in 1 shot. Would I purchase another vehicle from Hyundai of Newport ? Unquestionably, resoundingly, YES !!! Also, if you are wondering, I am 51 yrs. old & have purchased more than a dozen cars over the years & this is the best buying experience that I have ever had. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Since every experience I have had with Hyundai of Newport, I was delighted to bring my Father in law here to buy a used car. Again, everything was handled professionally, and in an amazing timely fashion. within 3 hours of walking in the door, the car was shined up and parked outside the dooor for my father in law to get right in and drive home. They even heated the car up for him and of course gave us all a cookie and a water. Negotiating a price was not exactly what I had expected, not a lot of leeway, I didn't walk out feeling like I got the best bargain, but it certainly was within the prices of every other dealer around for the car. And I am not sure that I will be receiving a gift card for this referral, but will be pleasantly surprised if I do!

Last week I had to bring my car in for two new tires. Dropped it off first thing in the morning, and told Scott I needed it no later than 3:00. He wrote down on the sheet to call me back by 2:00. Well, he called before the time he said it would be ready. I cannot praise this place enough! In the past when I've brought my previous cars in for service elsewhere and told them I needed the car back by a certain time, I've practically had to track them down. Half the time they said my car had been ready hours ago (and they never even bothered to call) or else it hadn't even been look at yet (after having been there for hours)! I had my hyundai Genesis serviced for the first time and was so impressed not only with the service to the car, but by the way I was treated. Everything was explained to me in a phone call by Scott before someone brought me a loaner car. the fellow who brought me the car was professional and polite. I was treated with respect! When the service was finished, Scott called and explained the work that was done, the cost and when my next service would be. Then the same man brought me back my car which was washed and vacuumed and had a bottle of water and a cookie. I was so pleased with this experience. In the 50 years that I have owned a car, I have never been treated this well getting my car serviced. It was all done in a very timely manner and having the loaner car is such a plus. Was to be the first of 4 stops with my son on my first car search experience in 9 years. As a professional skeptic- I entered full of doubts and a bit of natural mistrust for the industry. In the end - this was totally unnecessary - from the get go Sandy our salesman was forthright, honest and in fact very funny. He knows cars -- but the fact of matter he knows people better. I never left and after 3 hours - had a tentative deal and a full two day test drive with car parked in my driveway. We received a fair trade, and a pleasant experience with Bill -- the used car manager (we purchased a 2013 certified sonata) and with a financial background I think I put them through the ringer. Nonetheless, all expressed great attitudes, friendly and heavily customer service oriented. In the end - the finance manager Scott also did a great job as he diligently located the best financing package for us in relatively short order. In summary, I very highly recommend this dealership and its commitment to customer service as demonstrated by the people they hire, the value of their product, door to door service and perhaps most of all....... the respect they show their customers. Very refreshing in today's world!! HUZZAH!!!!!!

Hyundai of Newport does a super job. My husband and I waited less than 30 mins. for our oil change and we were totally satisfied with everything. Brian and Scott were friendly and professional. David Brock, who sold us our 2013 Tucson last year, sat and chatted with us while we waited which was very nice. When I mentioned a scratch I was concerned about, he took our vehicle to the detailing garage to seek their opinion. They buffed it as much as possible, and David said that, if we wish, we could have the scratch completely removed by the body shop they use in Fall River and would be provided with a loaner car while the work was done. Talk about personal service... We greatly appreciated his interest in us and in our vehicle. I am completely satisfied with Hyundai of Newport's service department and with my 2013 Tucson. I love driving it.

After reviewing the paperwork that was given to me after service, it stated that my next service ( Lube, change oil etc.) is due on 09/25/14. This is 11 days from my last service. I would have to drive 3,000 miles in 11 days. That's not going to happen. I will replace the oil & filter 7,500 or i2 months as recommended in Hyundai service manual. You should review your program so your customers shall get the correct data.

Had an appointment for an oil/filter change. Approx. one hour later, the service adviser, Bryan Alexander, had informed me that the work had been completed followed by detailed results of a free multi point inspection report. An inspection from front to rear and top to bottom which included lights, wipers, battery, tires, filters (including cabin air filter, drive belts, fluid levels, exhaust, brakes, drive shaft boots......lets' just say, a pretty extensive inspection.. Also, another appointment is made for the next oil change, which acts as a reminder and can always be changed. Great customer service!!!

I had a recent warranty issue with the car that Hyundai was questioning. Good overall experience. Very happy with the vehicle I purchased - a 2012 Santa Fe LTD. It has AWD which was a very important feature for me. It has many other features which I hope to figure out some day very soon. Everyone was very outgoing and helpful - Tracy Laughlin (the sales associate), the GM Fred, Scott the finance person and any of the other sales associates who were on the floor whenever I was there. The service department employees were also very welcoming and helpful and the chocolate chip cookie and water were a surprise. Kathy and Will went over the features of my car with me, Will put in the gas, and floor mats with TLC, The service guy set me up with a rental, so that the sunroof could be put in my car. My car was brought back EARLIER then promised, which is hardly ever the case, but it didn't matter to me, because they provided a loaner free of charge!!

At first Rohan was great to deal with...let me bring home a test vehicle while mine being serviced. I asked him to evaluate my trade while it was being serviced. I came back, liked the car and asked for his best price and value of my trade, He did not have a value for my trade despite having my car for 3 hours and hesitated to give me a price for the new car. Finally, as I said I was leaving and getting my car he came over and gave me the numbers I requested, saying everything is negotiable. Went home and determined that their car was overvalued and mine was undervalued. Called back with a more appropriate offer, which was accepted. I can tell you I liked the car well enough despite the salesman! Fortunately the GM, Alan, was a pleasure to deal with and I decided to go through with the deal!

It starts with the phone call to set up service at Hyundai in Newport, the friendly, courteous staff are always pleasent, knowledgable and very accomodating. The service department in Newport is by far the best experience I have ever had with a car dealership. The loaner car benefit is amazing & always available. They give you helpful tips on things about your car, for example they noticed a slight smell in the vents when they started up the car for the service call, so before I left with my car that afternoon, Brian came out to my car with me and showed me very simply how to take car of that when I got home! Service is always quick and professional, the car is clean and they even put a bottle of cold spring water and a cookie in the car after every call. I tell eeryone about the exceptional service that I have from Hyundai Newport and they are amazed. My boss actually bought a Sonata 1 month before me in Attleboro and he wishes that the courtesy loaner was an option for him, since he has to leave the car and get a ride with every service call.Keep up the good work Hyundai of Newport!

He has a job to do, but makes you feel comfortable, he's not stuffy like other finance managers at other car places. When we came to pick up the vehicle they put a bottle of water in the car and a cookie wrapped up with a note saying "Thank You". It may not sound like wine and cheese, but no other car place I've been to has done that when we've purchased a car. Everybody at this place is so nice, and I'm not just saying that. They're like one big happy family and you feel like you're part of their family, too. As long as the people I've dealt with here are still here the next time I purchase a car, I am definitely going here!

Hyundai of Newport service and staff personnel are the most professional dealership personnel I have dealt with in 40-plus years of car ownership. They are on top of all service issues, they take time to explain clearly and succinctly what needs to be done (which with a Hyundai is always routine maintenance) and the charge is always much less than I expect. Any car dealership and service department could learn a lot by coming to Hyundai of Newport and seeing how they treat their customers. Why can't all dealerships be like them?

While traveling from NH to Rhode Island, an indicator light came on signifying low tire pressure. We stopped to put air in but it didn't help at all. When we arrived in Newport, RI we pulled into the Hyundai garage. A nice gentleman from the sales end came out to greet us even before we parked, and asked with a smile on his face how he could assist us. He IMMEDIATELY got us into Service and they took the car right in. While waiting, which didn't take long, they offered us coffee, water and candy and the sales gentleman sat and conversed with us. The whole department was wonderful. They also took care of a recall problem that they were notified about that morning. We were super impressed with this as they didn't even have to tell us about it, never mind fix it, as there was no charge involved. How impressive in this day and age. We were there approximately half an hour and our car was ready. The service gentleman took us to the car, opened the doors for us and thanked us so much for using the Hyundai garage. When we got into the car, they had left us a cold bottle of water and a big chocolate chip cookie. Nicest garage we have ever dealt with.......they informed us that a nail was in our tire creating air loss, and showed us the nail. The cost was $15. What a relief, the problem was fixed and at an inexpensive charge. We felt blessed, and you should also knowing that this Hyundai garage is wonderful. Thank you for asking our opinion. The protective cover to the front section of my Tuscon's undercarriage was ripped off. Initially it was thought by the repair tech that it would not be able to be reattached however the service manager, Brian, suggested that we use washers in place over the holes that were ripped to allow the screws to fit tight. It worked. Saved me the expense of a new cover. That's what I call customer service!!

Service Right at HomeSeveral weeks ago on a trip to my Timeshare in Newport RI I discovered an issue with my 2012 Elantra. A humming noise was coming from the right front wheel well. Though a repair could not be done that Saturday PM. Bryan got me a diagnoses and communicated to my local dealer to secure the part. This sped up the repair for early the following week. Also my car was registered for the fuel reinbursement program. Bryan was attentive and interested in my satisfaction as if I was a local customer. I appreciated this and believe this is the type of customer service that reflects well on the entire brand.

Very nice welcome from employees as they came to work. I like to take my wifes car to be serviced when they open and i am there whenthey open at 7:30.Not to many places have energetic people at that time of morning.I also like the fact that i can see the car from the waiting room.Also they showed me the air filter straight from the car and it did need to be changed. we also talked about the next service dateand when it might be the best time to trade in for a 2013.Great job no complaints.

I took my car in for routine maintenance, 27,000 miles. Although the dealership does not open until 0730, I arrived at 0720. The reason for an early arrival was to get in-get ot in order to return home, and pick-up a family member to make a 0900 doctors appointment. The service folks were there, door open. Not like so many places which keep the doors locked until the appointed opening time; an attribute I do not admire. I explained my situation and was assured thhat they should be able to accomodate me. The paperwork done, they took the car in, did their ting and had me out in sufficient time to get to the doctors' appointment. No squawking about opening times or start times. Simply handled nicely and quickly. I don't mind saying that I'll return, with better planning on my part.

I cut a Tire and thanks to the extended Warranty I purchased with my new car, the Dealership fixed it for free :)Brian ordered a new Tire and called me 2 hours later and told me my car is ready to get picked up. Service is always wonderful, the staff is awesome, mechanics are fast and know what they are doing. Thanks again for fast and great work !!!!!

I inherited a 2004 Elantra when my mother passed away and it had many issues! I showed up at Hyundai of Newport unannounced and the service department was extremely accommodating. They made numerous repairs that had been ignored for years and made the car safe for my daughter to drive!

Recently I got my car serviced at the dealer I purchased it from and found out I needed a new tire. The price the dealer I was getting serviced at was very high for just a tire. I decided to call Hyundai of Newport whose local for me, I was offered a much better price. I also decided to check out Town Fair Tire and their price was even high too. Hyundai of Newport gave me the best and a great price, it was a huge difference from my usual dealer I go to and town fair. I decided on going there to fix my tire and Bryan helped me. He was very friendly and very helpful. He even helped me with the recall on my car, which I forgot about. The appointment was quick and easy! They even gave me a water and a cookie when my car was done. They have such a great quality of customer service, I was very impressed with Hyundai of Newport and I think I will be doing my scheduled service or any service for my car there now. I would definitely recommend this dealership. Thank you Bryan and Hyundai of Newport!

I was looking for a new used Car and Kerry Parkos, my Car salesman and Allen from accounting made it easy for me. I have a great Car now and love it. The Day I bought it I also meet the Owner Mr. Micah and I had a great Conversation in our native Language. My Car before was always taken care off great. Staff , don't matter what department is friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy like others. I had a flat tire in Providence, RI. AAA driver wanted to charge me $175 for a new tire, mounted. I called Alan to check on the price and he told me he'd pay the extra tow charge ($90) to get my car back to Middletown. Then when he looked a the tire, there was a significant price difference- lower, for the new tire mounted. I also received a free loaner. I have never been treated so well by any car dealer ever!

I bring my car in for service, and there is a car waiting for me to take to work or delivered to my at my job. When I pick up my car, there is water and a cookie waiting for me. He takes the extra effort in explaning in detail what the service technician performed on my car. He also guides me through additional service that is available from the dealership. This is my third Hyundai but first purchase with Hyundai of Newport and they have beat my previous dealer in ALL areas. Service could not be better. They provide a loaner if necessary and in my case (because I work only a few blocks away) they shuttle me back and forth, door to door. I must add one more thing. When the owner of the dealership walks through the waiting room and stops to speak with you and asks how you like your car because he actually remembers you and what you were looking for when you made your purchase - THAT'S SPECIAL CUSTOMER CARE!

Amazing experience start to finish! I decided to make the trip from Fall River(25 minutes door to door)simply because of the negative reviews of my local Hyundai dealership. Rohan Webster was the most knowledgeable, pleasant and polite person I've ever dealt with when buying a new car. Unlike other dealerships there was no double sticker or guaranteed $5000 for your trade bs. Rohan was honest and straight forward when evaluating my trade and when negotiating the price for my new Tucson. But it gets better! After taking delivery I was introduced to the service department where I was told that because I bought a new vehicle I get free pick up and delivery service with a loaner vehicle whenever my Tucson comes in for service. They'll go to my work or home to pick up my car, drop it back off when the service is done and leave me with a loaner vehicle to use!!! How great is that! Top notch dealership that is here to satisfy the customer. Hyundai of Newport is my dealership for life!!!!

I had a very good buying experience, I purchased a 2012 Elantra Limited. With the car I wanted on the lot, it made it easy to negoticate the deal. What I liked was the sales manager came up to me after the first round and tried to make the deal. So there was no back and forth, just face to face nogotications, after a few minutes we agreed on a price. Since I had the Edmunds paper work in front of me, it was easy.
