I felt like a kid in a candy store when I drove on the lot. There were hundreds of different makes and models of cars and trucks on their lot. They even have luxury vehicles on the lot from Mercedes, BMW, Lexus and Infinity to name a few. The Staff and management are very friendly. When I purchased my car they even delivered it to my house in Fayetteville free of charge.

This is a great place to buy a vehicle. I have bought many cars and trucks over the years and I have to say that this place is the best. I live in Asheville NC so it was quite a long drive over but well worth it. I would highly recommend Anna as your sales rep. She was informative, energetic (in a good way) and awesome to work with. The thing I loved best about her was her communication skills. She was easy to reach at all hours and went above and beyond to make my buying experience a pleasant one. I had a few minor issues to fix on the car I bought which they were happy to do. In fact when I picked it up they had found a few other things they fixed without my asking. Highly recommended!!!

I LIVE IN CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA AND WAS LOOKING FOR THE RIGHT USED CAR FOR MY SON. I SEARCHED CARS.COM AND FOUND THE CAR HE WANTED AT IMPEX AUTO SALES IN GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA. AFTER READING THE FREE CARFAX THAT WAS LISTED, I CALLED IMPEX AND SPOKE WITH REGGIE. HE ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS AND EVEN DROVE THE CAR FOR ME TO SEE IF THERE WERE ANY PROBLEMS. HE FOUND NONE AND EMAILED ME A FEW MORE PICTURES OF THE CAR. THEY TOLD ME A FAIR PRICE OVER THE PHONE FOR MY TRADE IN BASED ON CONDITION AND SAID THAT THE CAR I WAS BUYING CAME WITH A WARRANTY. AFTER DOING ALL MY HOMEWORK, I DROVE FIVE HOURS TO THE DEALERSHIP IN GREENSBORO. REGGIE GREETED ME AND TOLD ME TO DRIVE THE CAR TO SEE IF I LIKED IT. AFTER DRIVING THE CAR, I DECIDED TO BUY IT. I DID ALL THE PAPERWORK WITH PJ WHO WAS VERY HELPFUL AND ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS. THEY SOLD ME THE CAR FOR THE PRICE I WANTED AND GAVE ME A FAIR TRADE FOR MY CAR. I THEN SPOKE WITH THE LADY WHO HANDLES ALL THE TITLING AND SHE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING I WOULD NEED TO DO TO GET THE CAR TITLED IN SOUTH CAROLINA. THE WHOLE PROCESS TOOK ABOUT AN HOUR. I HAVE TO SAY I SOLD CARS FOR TWO YEARS AND I KNOW WHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR. LET ME SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT. THIS WAS BY FAR THE EASIEST AUTOMOBILE PURCHASE I HAVE EVER MADE!!!!!!!!! I had a very complex situation with Impex when I purchased a car this past month. Long story so I'll chop it up, purchased a car, days later, the car was not working properly, I called Impex, they gave me their word that they would take care of me and fix the car. Doing further research I felt that it was not a good idea to keep the car after they fixed it. After about 4-5 trips back and forth to Greensboro, I requested for them to trade me out of the car. They sincerely decided to approve me to trade out and credited me the same amount I bought the car for towards another car. (Not expected for used car dealers) They were respectful and helpful every step of they way. Reggie took very good care of me, which was my salesman. I also was very thankful for Mike, Ahmad, and Rob for feeling the need to stand behind their great customer service. After a world wind of turmoil I have been in. I must say that Im with my car. REGGIE is the man!!!!

I got a very good car at below book value. Still have the car and have had to do some minor repair that was mileage appropriate. The salesmen were hungover and talking about what to do tonite. Extremely unprofessional, rejects from legitamit dealers. They did get financing done, but they gave no options on term or payment. I took and refined at my credit union. I think I just got lucky with the car. Get it checked by a mechanic and inequality financing if you can.

Went to look at a van they were selling. Fellow said, Call ahead and we will bring it out for you. I did call ahead, and they did NOT bring it out. It was surrounded by a lot of other vehicles and I could not test drive it w/o a long wait. Bunch of fellows there, but they did not seem that interested in assisting me. Give this lot a pass.

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. The sales reps did not seem the slightest bit interested in selling us a car. The only one who paid any attention to us kept interrupting sentences to talk on his cell phone. We were having trouble finding the cars we wanted to see, and no one wanted to take the time to help us find them. They suggested we use our phones to look them up instead. One rep kept telling us that they were very busy, but there were several people in and around the office hanging out doing nothing. The lot was so crowded that it was really difficult to see or get in and out of the cars. Everything was crammed in haphazardly. Found a car we were interested in, but we're uninterested in giving Impex any business, so we're going down the street.

Today I came in kind of with my head held down because I've been turned down by so many companies and dealerships and FINALLY! Finally I am able to walk away with my new used car. They were very great with getting me the best deals and I can tell they really wanted to help. I've never had anyone work so hard to try and help me get in a car. My husband & I purchased a 2013 Kia Optima from Impex Auto in May of 2014. I found the vehicle online & contacted Impex immediately. We were really shocked by how nice the vehicle turned out to be! (ie. low mileage, no body blemishes, no accidents, great interior) We dealt with DJ, who is not necessarily the most "car salesman" type of guy we were expecting. He was very direct & to the point, no haggling (not that we cared since the price was at least $2000 under everything we had found in comparison), and no non-sense type of guy. It was very refreshing not to be constantly hounded about purchasing a vehicle. I wanted to wait a few months to make sure we were still satisfied with the car before writing a review & we are still in love with the car!!! If you appreciate no haggling, no hounding, and great deals, call DJ... he might not be overly friendly but he was a great "non-salesman" to us!! Thanks Impex!

Have been looking on the internet for a certain vehicle for about a month now and found the perfect car on their website. Car was priced in line with others within my search area of about 200 miles. Although they state they have wholesale pricing, the vehicle I was looking at was as I said in line with others comparably equipped and mileage at other dealerships including Hendrick, etc.... Possibly a grand give or take than other places, but for an independent dealership right in line. Was able to test drive vehicle alone and took it out on the interstate. I will admit the car was in excellent shape and drove excellent. My sales guy was very nice also. My complaint is they SUPER low balled me on my trade. As I said I have been looking for a vehicle closer to home for a while and the LOWEST I was offered out of literally 5 other places over the past month was 3k above what this place offered me. Needless to say all I did was drive 250 miles and waste close to $100.00 on gas to get some ridiculous offer on my car. My car is definitely not a Hoopty by any means, but is a nice, super clean,very well maintained vehicle. Had it been even close I would have made a deal but they don't even try to negotiate so it was pretty much cut and dry. Our car is X amount and here's our low ball on ours. See Ya!!! They do have some good reviews on here but also some bad and several mention the low ball offers. I understand dealerships are in business to make as much money as possible but need to be fair with people also. Will NOT be back.....

As a college aged female, I was really nervous about buying my first new car on my own. I was referred to Impex and Robert by a coworker. Walking into Impex was a little overwhelming, their parking lot was crowded and there were people everywhere, but it was a Saturday afternoon... I sat down with Robert and told him my budget, what is was looking for, and what I wanted. He recommended a couple cars to me and I test drove one of them that day. What I liked about Impex was that Robert gave me the keys and allowed me to do the test drive on my own. That took away a lot of the stress of having a stranger in the passenger seat. After a good day of looking, I decided to go home and think over my options. Robert gave me his card and took my information, but not once was I pressured to make a decision. I ended up doing some research at home on their website, which is awesome. I would definitely recommend searching on their website to get a better idea of everything they have, because there is a lot on their lot. I went back a few days later with a friend and test drove 3 more cars. Robert was very knowledgable about each and helped talk me through the positive and negatives. Any maintenance that needed to be done, he assured me would be done before I drove the car off the lot. I chose a 2011 Kia Forte. The paperwork and signing was very simple and quick, and Robert worked with me on my budget. 5 days after my purchase I drove my new car from Greensboro,NC to Los Angeles, CA and then to San Francisco with no trouble at all. The car itself was a great choice,as I got over 30mpg the whole trip. Very reliable purchase. I would definitely recommend Impex auto to anyone looking for a great and reliable new car.

Don't bother yourself going here. They give you NOTHING for your trade and sold me a lemon. I had bought a 2005 civic and not even two weeks later was having overheating issues. They claimed it wasn't covered by my warranty but if I wanted it fixed they had a mechanic who would do it for a fair price. Note this mechanic was thirty minutes from my home and "never found anything wrong with it" "couldn't make it overheat" but it overheated on my way home. Ended up going to my own mechanic and paid almost a thousand dollars to fix.

horrible experience, major frame issues that make the car worth thousands less than what we purchased it for and no one there cooperated. they cannot be trusted and the owner never even spoke with us which is all we really wanted. the trunk is damaged and will not be able to be used. that was unfortunately something we didnt discover til the first rain after the purchase. but once the papers are signed there, it seems nothing matters to them. i could go on and on but just take my advice and search elsewhere for a car!!!!!

DJ was our sales REP, he was very helpful in finding a car to meet our budget, fulfilling our car needs and most of our wants. DJ was very friendly. Josh was our finance MGR, when he was not able to get us a fair loan with a good value he recommended us to a financial institute that had exceptional service and they knew him, which helped us. Josh was very friendly and extremely customer oriented. Jonathan was the Sales Closer, he was fun to work with. detailed oriented and he gave us his undivided attention. One of the best car buying experiences of my life, 68 years. Car was priced right and they agreed to paint the hood and front bumper (many road chips) and put on a set of new Michelin tires for no additional charge. They gave me the best offer for my trade by $1000 with no nickel and diming. This deal was so good I didn't have to walk or play hard ball to get all I wanted. Just an honest fair deal all around. They were very busy so Justin the finance speicalist helped us that day and gladly provided us with a Carfax report and let us take it for a test drive. My 79 year old dad wanted to spend a large insurance payoff check to purchase a car similar to the one he had. He looked far and wide for a similar Mercedes and he found one at Impex Auto. It sounded really good online and the pictures looked great. He took a bus from New Bern to this area so he could buy it and drive it home. When he got there, the car had a few cosmetic issues that were not noticeable online. Still, he felt it was acceptable. The dealer would not fix any of the cosmetic issues...that was o.k. The dealer also reminded him that the car was being sold as is and there would be no refunds. Still, he had come a long way and decided to purchase the car. Part of this was because the dealer assured him that the car was mechanically sound and he shared the carfax report with him. Later I looked at the carfax report and found that it was missing information from 2007 - 2010. One wonders now what happened in those years. Anyway, he drove the car home and had no problems on the 4 hour drive. Over the next month, the car started having all kinds of problems with various features including major problems with the suspension system where the car lowered and would not go up again and it flattened all the tires. The car starting experiencing a number of critical problems which resulted in him having to take the car off the road after 2 months. After many months the car sits there today because he cannot afford to fix it. He called the dealer about a month into this nightmare just to ask if they could do anything to help him. They reminded him that he purchased it as is and it was now his problem. What a lesson he learned. He felt that his previous great experience with the same year Mercedes was so good that he just had to have another one. His mistake here was buying it from this dealer and not bringing along a mechanic to check it out before purchase. Don't make this mistake! Don't buy your car here unless your mechanic does a thorough check. There is a reason they say "AS IS"! There is a reason they don't give any type of warranty! Please consider all of this before considering to buy a car here.

I went to Impex after I was fed up dealing with the sales staff at Crown Honda. Crown was very high pressure and called me three times a day. On the other hand, Impex its a lot more laid back and casual - which I like. I was able to look around and the employees were accessible, but not on top of me. I found a Accord that was just a couple years old and my favorite color. I've already driven it to Tennessee and back and couldnt be happier with it! Thanks Impex, I will be back for my next car for sure!

I would not recomend buying an auto from Impex. If you do! Buyer beware! Get the car fully checked by an mechanic before you buy. Purchased an auto with very low mileage and one owner, paid full asking price the engine looked close to brand new. From the get go the car would not pass emissions. They replaced the spark plugs and disconnected the battery reset the computer and I take it back after a couple of days take it to dealer and it passed inspection. A few days later the light comes on again. I take it to the auto zone, they do a read on the car and it says, "cylinder one misfires." I call Impex and they make me take it to a tire and rim dealer down the road. The next day, I go there and sit and wait there while they check to see whats wrong with it. The car dealer comes over and Say so and so, "The car needs a part replaced, we have to order it and it will take about a week, but it ok you can still drive it , it just won't pass emissions." OK, So I wait a week... no call...So I call them. Oh, we need you to drop the car off for a week we need to take the cylinder out to send it away to get churned???? OK, no car for a week, no offer of a beater car to use will they were working on mine. A week goes by and NO call, again! I call them, "Oh the car will be ready tomorrow give us a call after 4:00 pm. So I call them again. Yes, the car is ready . We go over there to pick up the car. They give it to me. I drive it home after going out to eat. I go to put the car seats and stuff back in the car. GUESS WHAT! There is a half of an engine in the back of the car... lifters, timing belt, cams covers, spark plugs, you name it. It was back there. So I go open the hood and it's not my engine that was in there. (I have pictures) Oh, yeah the air does not work now. It was the holiday weekend so I had to wait until tuesday to get that fixed. They Frankensteined my engine BIG TIME! I asked what did they DO??? The dealer, said I don't no. This was not the engine that I bought. I opened the engine oil cap and showed the CRUDD on the cap and in the oil spout. He just walks off back inside. NO paper work of what they did to the engine, not even a gas card or offer of a free oil change. Dealer talked to me like I was a stupid idiot woman. Going to take it to CarMax to see how much it worth now! BY THE WAY THE DEALER NAME WAS "DJ" I have to go now and clean the oil out of the back of the car. Do not buy a car from him!!! I will complain to the Better Business Bureau! Don't treat me like a mushroom and keep me in the dark.

We purchased a used car from this business and after two days of the purchase the engine light was on.We called the service man that sold us the car and her told us to bring the car back and we did.Well from that moment on we were pretty much put on hold I called everyday about the vehicle and was told they didn't know what was wrong with the car? Finally after almost a week I was told that the car had a cracked head gasket!!! What? After a week you're just telling me that?? Long story short please please if you buy anything from this business have the car checked by your own mechanic please!!! They fixed the vehicle but I would never buy a vehicle from this PLACE!!! Just be very careful and check out the car yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I called Impex because I was need of car and they sold my son a car and in two days from the purchase the engine light was on!!! We took the car back and was told it would be a quick repair.They keep the car for two days!!! Everytime I would call they would give me the run around!!! I am so upset with this dealershi.Again please please please do your homework if your going to purchase a car from this business.This is day three and still don't have my car and they don't even call you to say whats going on with the car!!!

My first impression of Impex was extremely pleasant. My salesman was John. When I came in he told me that they would be able to work with my situation and then ceased answering the phone when I called to check in the status a day later. I showed up everyday for a week and got a run around story each time. When I looked online, I saw that the car had been sold and he didn't let me know or offer me any other options. He just said I couldn't be financed and gave me another dealership to go to. Guess even though I was told I was "cute" they didn't really want my business.

Jonathan Ross made making a car purchase very pleasant. We were able to find what we wanted on line and then stop by the dealership for a fast and easy purchase. We will be getting another car soon and this will be the place we go.

I bought a used Lexus rx300 from impex in January. For starters I asked them to please detail the vehicle for me to purchase it, they said ok but didn't do it. A week later my check engine light comes on so I call impex. They send me to rays body shop some hole in the wall in Greensboro, which is 30min drive for me and rays says that they can't fix it that day I'll have to bring it back when they have more time. So I try to reach rays body shop and impex for. The next three months and the one time impex answered the phone the man said he didn't mean to get into a phone call like that. To say the least... yes they have good prices and are fairly easy to deal with until they sell u a piece of crap then they are done with you. I would never recommended impex auto sales!

Buying a vehicle pre-owned or new, can be a tedious task indeed. After visiting several lots, dealerships and private parties for the specific vehicle I was interested in, I came across IMPEX via the net. The IMPEX staff and especially Jonathan Ross, were both professional and quite patent with my detailed questions. In fact, my experience with IMPEX was literally the antithesis of my experience with Anchor Motors in Fuquay-Varina only a few days earlier. The staff at Anchor Motors were condescending in their attitude, ill-informed on their vehicles, and openly disrespectful of customers who were obviously there to buy a vehicle. As we waited patiently for someone to show even the slightest interest in our questions, this was our impression even before we spoke to anyone. Fortunately, IMPEX is as opposite of Anchor Motors as could be. Their professionalism, knowledge of the fleet and attention to customer questions by Mr. Ross and IMPEX team were head and shoulders above Anchor Motors. My advise to others in search of a well-maintained pre-owned vehicle is to skip the snake-oil salesmen and sleazy operators. Make the smart decision and contact IMPEX first - you will not regret it. - JEKv

Our experience at Impex was very pleasant. It is so nice to not be pressured by sales people. We were given all the distance and time we needed to look at the vehicles we found on the website, and felt at ease making our choice. The staff was knowledgeable and professional.

Impex Auto Sales was AWESOME! I had been looking for a 645ci. Jonathan was awesome, he called me to let me know that the one I wanted was available! When I got there, everyone was nice, the entire buying process took approx 45 mins! Because it was used, there were a couple of little things that needed to be done, they took care of everything and ensured the car had the needed maintenance before I arrived! I have referred others to them! Thank you Impex!

This is probably the first time in 20 years that my husband and I leave a dealership full of joy and celebrating our purchase. Don't get me wrong, We always buy cars that we love, I am talking about the experience we had here, we felt respected and never rushed and the salesman was welcoming and very well educated. He knew how to answer our questions and most important, We traveled from Charlotte to Greensboro just because even over the phone you could perceive the honesty they talk about on their website. I would highly recommend this place to my friends. (They also have the best coffee in town).

I was referred to this dealership by my mechanic, and I am very glad that I listened to him. from the time I walked in the door to the time I left I was treated as if I was the only customer there. The process that I expected to take beyond a day.. Was handled within an hour. They worked with my complex work schedule and made sure that all my needs were met. I love the car that I got from them. They took time to make sure I understood all my options and had great communication. Many places you feel like youe being hustled but here it almost like your buying something from a friend you have known for years.
